Those looking for something to watch with the whole family this Halloween will need to turn to Netflix. In fact, many parents already are, as the 2005 hit Corpse Bride is trending extremely well on the streamer.

According to FlixPatrol, on Oct. 16, 2026, the movie is ranked No. 9 on the platform. This is where it ranked the day before as well, making it clear that this Johnny Depp classic may be legally allowed to drink, but it is still a beloved story.

Directed by Tim Burton simultaneously with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride is packed with 17th-century folklore. In fact, it was inspired by a Jewish folktale called The Finger, which follows the story of a groom jokingly putting a ring on the hand of a corpse while reciting his vows, waking the corpse.

Yes, Burton, Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter, along with composer Danny Elfman, were juggling both Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factor at the same time. Depp would take on the role of Willy Wonka during the day, and then at night — the perfect setting for Corpse Bride — he would record the voice for Victor Van Dort. It took just 15 minutes to find that character’s persona, and Depp wasn’t afraid to grill Burton to make sure he captured the essence perfectly.

With an 85% Rotten Tomatoes score, Corpse Bride is ranked No. 7 on the site’s list of best Tim Burton movies of all time. It’s rare for a family movie to get great reviews from critics, but this one was praised for its storytelling, its whimsical feel, and its music.

One critic said, “It stands as a fascinating, captivating, and unique tale that features wonderful animation, some fine tunes from the great Danny Elfman, and a fantastic vocal cast, culminating in a delightfully macabre experience that’s very much worth a revisit.”

Another shared, “It’s close to a perfect musical, and certainly a perfect animation.”

While the music certainly gets a lot of love and attention, the method of filming deserves to be praised. Burton used stop-motion, but did it in a completely different way from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Instead, the Corpse Bride puppets had tiny, intricate steel gear mechanisms inside the silicone heads, so animators could turn a key to create the subtle facial expressions.

Corpse Bride is now available to stream on Netflix, and it’s already proving to be a huge hit 21 years later.

Elizabeth Holmes underwent an extensive body scan to create a digital version of herself before reporting to prison, a striking revelation in a new documentary about the disgraced Theranos founder.

The scene appears in You Can See Everything, a documentary directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim that opened in theaters on October 16. According to CNN, Holmes posed for more than 200 cameras in the days before she began her prison sentence in 2023. The process captured her likeness so it could be reproduced through video, holograms and artificial intelligence.

The technology could allow Holmes to appear virtually even while she remains incarcerated. The documentary also explores how the digital version could serve a business purpose as Holmes and her partner, Billy Evans, planned a new health care venture.

Holmes reportedly saw the technology as a potential way to continue her work despite her imprisonment. In the film, she discusses her determination to keep inventing, saying, “From wherever I am, I’m going to continue to work inventing, even if it’s inventing from a cage,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

The scene adds another unusual dimension to the story of Theranos, the blood-testing startup Holmes founded in 2003. The company promised to transform medical testing by using small blood samples, but its technology failed to deliver on its claims. Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors and sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison.

You Can See Everything follows Holmes during the 34 days before she reported to prison. What begins as a documentary about her life before incarceration develops into a broader examination of her relationship with Evans, her public image and her continued ambitions.

The filmmakers gained unusual access to the couple and their family, capturing conversations and moments that raise questions about the boundaries between personal transparency and image management.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Evans plays a central role in managing Holmes’ public image and creating her AI avatar. The film examines how the couple might use the technology while Holmes serves her sentence.

The digital recreation also raises questions about identity, authenticity and whether an artificial version of a public figure can continue to represent that person when they cannot appear in public themselves.

Directed by Fielder and Oppenheim, the nearly three-hour documentary offers a new look at Holmes’ life and the plans she made before entering prison.

In the winter of 1972, Stephen King wasn’t famous. He was 25 and teaching English at Hampden Academy in Maine for $6,400 a year. He and Tabitha lived in a double-wide trailer west of Bangor with their two kids. They had no phone. He drove a Buick that he said was held together with baling wire and duct tape. Tabitha was working the night shift at Dunkin’ Donuts. To make ends meet, King also moonlighted as a janitor and a gas pump attendant. Every night he locked himself in the laundry room between the washer and dryer and wrote horror fiction. He’d been doing it for years. He hadn’t broken through.

The idea for Carrie didn’t come from teaching. It came from a memory. Years earlier, during college, King took a summer janitor job at Brunswick High School. He was scrubbing rust stains off the walls in the girls’ shower when he noticed two unmarked metal boxes bolted to the tile. He asked his supervisor what they were. Sanitary pads. There was nothing like them in the boys’ locker room. He’d never thought about it. He filed the memory away.

It started with a prom in 1976. All episodes of Mike Flanagan’s #Carrie are now streaming on Prime Video.

One night in 1972, while working at the industrial laundry, it came back to him, and he started seeing the opening scene of a story. Girls showering. No privacy curtains. One girl starts to have her period and has no idea what’s happening. He went to the laundry room and started typing.

He wrote three single-spaced pages and stopped. He didn’t think he could write convincingly from a teenage girl’s perspective. He couldn’t see the point. He crumpled the pages up and threw them in the trash.

The next day Tabitha emptied the trash. She found three crinkled balls of paper covered in cigarette ash, smoothed them out, and read them. When King got home, she put the pages in front of him. “You’ve got something here,” she told him. “I really think you do.” She told him she’d help with the details he didn’t know. He asked whether tampon machines took quarters. She laughed. “They’re free, Steve.” She helped him understand what it actually felt like to be a teenage girl in a locker room. He went back to the laundry room and finished the book.

Thirty publishers rejected it. Then Doubleday’s editor Bill Thompson said yes for a $2,500 advance. King was in the teachers’ lounge during fifth period, grading papers, when the announcement came over the school PA system. He called Tabitha. She didn’t believe him. He had to say it twice. He dedicated the book to her. The dedication reads: “This is for Tabby who got me into it and then bailed me out of it.”

Carrie was published on April 5, 1974. It sold 1 million copies in its first year. Then the paperback rights sold to Signet Books for $400,000. King’s half was $200,000. He quit teaching the same week. Brian De Palma’s film adaptation starring Sissy Spacek followed in 1976. Mike Flanagan’s Prime Video series — which King has called fantastic — is streaming now. Without Tabitha, it’s just a ball of paper in a trailer in Maine. Nobody ever hears of Stephen King.

Alyssa Milano just shared new selfies, and she’s barely changed almost 35 years after Who’s the Boss? ended.

Milano, 53, rose to fame as a child in the role of Samantha Micelli on Who’s the Boss? She played the sweet daughter of Tony Micelli (played by Tony Danza), who moves from an urban environment in Brooklyn to a ritzy Connecticut suburb to work as a housekeeper for a successful advertising executive, played by Judith Light. Milano was a fan favorite in the role and became an adult in front of the camera. While the show concluded in 1992, Milano has made it clear she hasn’t changed all that much since she played the beloved role. In a new photo carousel, Milano kicked it off with a close-up selfie that showed she still looks just like she did in her younger days as Samantha!

Milano is now married to David Bugliari, and the couple has two children. But one look at her daughter, Elizabeth, makes it clear that she’s got a mini-me on her hands. In a recently shared side-by-side photo, Milano shared a photo of herself as a teen next to a photo of her daughter, and it’s definitely a twinning situation.

“My girl,” Milano captioned the sweet photo set.

Earlier this year, Milano opened up in a Substack post about her mental health struggles. Her post came during the trial of Massachusetts woman Lindsay Clancy.

“As the Lindsay Clancy trial forces a new national reckoning with postpartum mental illness and with what can happen when women ask for help but still fall through the cracks, it feels important to share it again,” she wrote on Instagram.

Milano dealt with crippling anxiety attacks.

“I would drive to work and think about all the ways that Milo could die in the hands of his caretakers,” she noted, adding, “Every night, after working 16-hour days, after I was finally able to hold my child and put him to sleep, my day’s anxiety would culminate into a debilitating anxiety attack.”

Eventually, she sought professional help.

Finally, ”I went to the emergency room at 2:00 AM, asked for a psychiatrist and got help. I felt as though I had no choice: I asked to be committed; I stayed in a public psychiatric ward for three days.”

The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers is looking back on a memorable moment with one of his musical heroes, Bruce Springsteen.

Flowers, 45, recently recalled the experience of singing Springsteen’s “Thunder Road” alongside the legendary rocker at the 2009 Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, but before the pair took the stage together, Springsteen wanted to make sure Flowers knew the song’s lyrics.

“He put a piece of paper down and a pencil, and it was almost like, ‘How well do you know the song? Write out what you’re going to sing, what I’m gonna sing’,” Flowers recalled in an interview with The Standard. “And I knew every word.”

The two musicians then practiced the song together privately before their performance.

“We sang it together alone in his room, and that is about as close to heaven as you can get,” Flowers said.

The moment was a dream come true for Flowers, who has spent more than two decades as the lead singer of The Killers. The band is known for hits including “Mr. Brightside,” “Somebody Told Me” and “When You Were Young.”

Springsteen, meanwhile, has remained an important musical influence for Flowers. The pair’s 2009 performance of “Thunder Road,” originally released on Springsteen’s 1975 album Born to Run, brought together two generations of rock musicians.

Flowers is now exploring a more personal side of his songwriting on his third solo album, Thrasher. The record draws on his childhood in Nephi, Utah, and the family members, friends, and experiences that helped shape his life. The album follows The Killers’ 2021 release, Pressure Machine, which also explored the complexities of growing up in his rural hometown.

“I grew up in rural Utah, and so a lot of those stories and memories of that upbringing have been on the back burner and not always at the forefront of my writing,” Flowers told People earlier this fall. “As I’ve gotten older, I’m feeling more comfortable going there and trying to do some justice to those experiences.”

Henry Winkler’s long acting career spans more than 50 years, and he’s still going strong as he approaches 81 years old.

During a recent appearance on the Funny You Should Ask podcast, the beloved Happy Days actor told host Ike Barinholtz he follows one five-word rule when it comes to his enduring career: “Shut up and show up.”

“Now I never knew that I would do this,” Winkler admitted on the podcast. “See, here is the lesson at this moment in time that I’ve really learned. Show up. You can find a billion reasons to say no: your fear, your fear of failure. Just shut up and show up.”

In the 1970s, Winkler became a household name as Fonzie on Happy Days, but the role was originally supposed to be a minor part. Winkler stuck it out, and by the third season, Fonzie was one of the main characters on the show.

On the podcast, Winkler, who worked in movies, directing, and writing after his Happy Days fame, also reiterated his longtime claim that he has no plans to stop working.

“I will never retire unless I have to,” the veteran star told Barinholtz. “I’m having too much fun.”

Winkler previously described himself as a “doer,” telling AARP, “After Happy Days, I struggled with being locked out of opportunity. …I knew it was necessary to figure out something else because I was completely stymied. I couldn’t just sit there. I had a family, and I am a doer.”

Instead of feeling sorry for himself for being typecast, the actor ultimately started his own production company and wrote a series of children’s books. Acting roles, such as Winkler’s Emmy-winning turn playing Gene Cousineau on HBO’s Barry, followed.

While accepting his first Emmy Award in 2018, Winkler joked about his long wait for the honor. “I wrote this [speech] 43 years ago,” he quipped.

He then shared the philosophy that he kept close to him throughout his career, a reminder that consistently showing up does pay off in the long run.

“If you stay at the table long enough, the chips come to you, and tonight I got to clear the table,” Winkler said.

On October 10, Jennifer Meyer married Geoffrey Ogunlesi in a beautiful Hawaiian wedding. Meyer was previously married to Toby Maguire, who officiated her wedding to her new husband. Since the pair only finalized their divorce this September, Meyer spoke to Vogue about the unconditional arrangement.

“I genuinely felt like I was floating on cloud nine,” she said. “I had zero jitters, just pure happiness. Having our three children and our parents walk down the aisle made it even more special. And having Tobey, my ex-husband, officiate was so special. A little unconventional, but so perfectly us.”

Meyer and Maguire have two children together, Ruby and Otis, who were also at the wedding. Meyer also has a baby daughter.

“I had just had a baby girl four and a half months before the wedding, so I knew my body would be changing constantly,” Meyer explained when speaking about choosing her wedding gown. “I was in such a happy, blissful baby bubble that I honestly couldn’t wrap my head around wedding dress shopping. I finally called Danielle Frankel just four weeks before the wedding, which is obviously insane, and she immediately said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ve got you.’”

The actual day of the wedding was nothing but perfect. “There was so much dancing, so much laughter, and just pure joy everywhere you looked,” Meyer said. “Having all of our favorite people together on this magical little island, dancing and celebrating with us all night, was beyond anything I could have imagined.”

She added, “We truly had the time of our lives. I don’t think either of us has ever been happier. By the end of the night, I was in slippers eating chicken fingers, which I think is the ultimate sign of a perfect wedding.”

Despite confirming he had to cancel his Las Vegas shows last week because of bronchitis, Barry Manilow returned to the stage on Thursday, bashing a rumor that circulated about his health.

“I was reading the papers, and I read ‘singer collapses in the wings.'” I said, ‘Who can that be? So I read a little bit more, and it’s me!” he told the crowd while back on stage at Las Vegas’ Westgate. “But that was all bulls–t. That didn’t even happen at all, but I loved it.”

In the video, shared by producer John Pascarella, Manilow confirmed again that he had bronchitis.

“Has anybody here had bronchitis?” he asked the crowd. “You know that you cannot sing with bronchitis, and I thought, well, I’ll give it a try, and it didn’t work, and we had to cancel the show.”

“Oy, the Jewish guilt,” he added, referring to letting the audience down. “But I’m feeling fine now! So thanks for giving me another chance to come to our show.”

The 83-year-old singer has battled multiple bouts of bronchitis this year, following his December 2025 lung cancer diagnosis, and while last weekend’s set of shows was slated as a major comeback, Manilow performed one show Thursday night, abruptly ended his Friday night show after playing just two songs, and canceled Saturday’s show altogether.

The canceled shows also follow a six-week hiatus from his Las Vegas residency as he announced in August that he was “going to take a break” until this month.

“After a triumphant welcome-back concert on Thursday, Barry got hit with bronchitis and had to cancel his Friday and Saturday shows,” representatives for the musician and the resort told Variety.

Since the news of his diagnosis, Manilow has continued to keep his fans posted on his health journey, which also included, at one point, having to delay his return to his Las Vegas residency. His performances at the Westgate were initially scheduled to resume in February after surgery, but kept getting postponed.

He’s currently scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday night this weekend, plus two weekends in November and three in December.

In 2015, Andy Grammer scored the biggest hit of his career with “Honey, I’m Good,” which climbed to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Now, 11 years later, Grammer is back with a new album and is celebrating its release with a major career first.

The 42-year-old singer-songwriter released his sixth studio album Big Stupid Heart on Friday, Oct. 16, via S-Curve Records/Hollywood Records. The 13-track collection explores grief, family, romantic love, resilience and what it takes to remain open to love after experiencing loss.

“Somewhere along the way, we decided that being cynical makes you smart and being sincere makes you a little bit of an idiot,” Grammer said of the new album. “I’ve spent my whole career proudly representing the idiots, and this album Big Stupid Heart is for anyone who’s been through enough to know better but keeps recklessly loving anyway.”

Big Stupid Heart follows Grammer’s 2024 album Monster, which saw him confronting anger, grief and emotional wounds. His new record explores what comes next, with optimism presented not as naïveté but as a conscious choice after difficult experiences.

The album’s title track is what Grammer calls “a war cry to myself to stay open,” while “Best Hearts” was inspired by a voicemail submitted to his weekly podcast, Showing Up With Andy Grammer.

A mother told Grammer about her son finding the strength to comfort another patient while receiving treatment for his own mental health struggles. She asked Grammer if he could write a song about people who are “getting crushed but still show up for others,” inspiring “Best Hearts.”

Another deeply personal song, “All I Want Is You,” turns Grammer’s attention to his wife and daughters and his tendency to get caught up in pursuing the next career milestone.

“I wish I was better at remembering this, but I can get pretty caught up in chasing the next thing,” Grammer previously said. “‘All I Want Is You’ is a reminder to myself in song form that my wife and daughters are my north star.”

The album also includes “Don’t Want to Fall in Love,” inspired by two friends who eventually became a couple after one jokingly warned the other, “Don’t hang out with me if you don’t want to fall in love.”

“We need some simple, sweet love songs in this world,” Grammer said.

Other songs on the album include “Love Showed Up,” “Mysterious,” “Human Being,” “Rather Be” and “Happy Place,” featuring Walk Off the Earth.

Grammer is marking the album’s arrival with another milestone on Friday night: his Grand Ole Opry debut.

The Nashville appearance caps a busy release week that included a performance of “All I Want Is You” on Live with Kelly and Mark and an appearance at Susan G. Komen’s second annual Party in Pink Gala in New York City on Oct. 14. The latter was particularly meaningful for Grammer, who lost his mother, Kathy, to breast cancer when he was 25.

He also recently joined the Savannah Bananas for the inaugural Banana Bowl at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 10. Grammer performed “Honey, I’m Good” with the team during the Disney+ event, which also featured performances from the Jonas Brothers and Kane Brown and an appearance by John Cena.

Following the release of Big Stupid Heart, Grammer will head back on the road for Greater Than Pt. II: A One Man Show. The tour kicks off Nov. 3 in Nashua, New Hampshire, and runs through Dec. 13 in San Luis Obispo, California.

Yet, right at the peak of this space-age euphoria, an obscure folk-rock duo from Lincoln, Nebraska, captured the global spotlight by delivering a surprisingly bleak, apocalyptic counter-narrative that completely upended pop radio.

Denny Zager and Rick Evans had originally recorded their existential sci-fi track, “In the Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus),” on a tiny five-hundred-dollar budget for a local independent label. Rick Evans had actually penned the grim lyrics years earlier while sitting in the back of a cramped Volkswagen van. Built around an ominous, uptempo flamenco guitar strum and laced with dramatic minor-key horn arrangements, the song structured its narrative around a terrifying chronological timeline. It explicitly foretold a dark future where human beings would face absolute physical atrophy, artificial selection via test-tube babies, and a complete loss of individual thought to mind-control pills.

Remarkably, the public’s swelling obsession with the future transformed this low-budget novelty single into an overnight commercial juggernaut. RCA Records quickly snatched up the track, and it rocketed all the way to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, remaining anchored at the top spot for six consecutive weeks during that historic summer.

The song ultimately earned a permanent place in music trivia by creating a profound paradox: it became the only track in history to reach Number 1 on both the US and UK charts by an act that never managed to land another single anywhere on the charts again. Within just two short years, subsequent releases completely stalled, cementing Zager and Evans as the ultimate dystopian one-hit wonders.

BC Game deep-dived into all things spooky in a new study of the best Halloween towns in America, and would you believe Anoka, Minn. ranks at No. 2? They’re the self-proclaimed Halloween Capital of the World, after all, and they have been since the 1920s.

Research for this creepy little collection of towns looked for where folks love to celebrate Halloween most, measuring “the number of Halloween events, ghost and haunted attractions, costume shops, and candy and chocolate shops in each city.”

Then, BC Game adjusted for population size and scored the numbers out of 100. That’s how they got this ranking.

6. Cincinnati, Ohio — Cincy has more than 200 Halloween events to offer this year, plus 23 costume-focused stores for you to find something to wear before you hit the streets.

5. New Orleans, Louisiana — NOLA is known for its haunted places, so it really comes alive (erm, back from the dead?) at Halloween. Dyna Mitte, the mother of Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte, is opening up about the devastating morning she discovered her son dead at his home in Brownsville, Texas.

Mitte, who played Walter White Jr. on the hit AMC series, died at 34 on October 12. In an interview with NBC News published October 15, his mother recalled trying to reach him by phone before deciding to bring him lunch.

“I called him at 11,” Dyna said, according to PEOPLE, which reported on the interview. “He didn’t answer, so I picked up lunch and went to take it to him, and that’s when I discovered him.”

Dyna said her son often slept until noon, so his failure to answer the phone did not initially alarm her.

She also spoke about the emotional struggles Mitte had experienced in the months before his death. According to PEOPLE’s report, she had encouraged him to seek therapy for about three months, but he had insisted he could manage on his own.

“I’ve been offering for him to go to therapy, trying to get him to go there,” she said. “But he was like, ‘No, I’ve got it. It’s OK. I’m handling it.’”

Dyna said she wished she had pushed harder for him to get professional help. She also shared her hope that speaking openly about her loss might help another family facing a similar situation.

“If me speaking out today might save someone else from going through the same situation, because a mother should never have to find their child this way,” she said.

Mitte’s representative confirmed his death by suicide, according to PEOPLE. Authorities had said the circumstances remained under investigation.

Mitte became widely known for playing Walter White Jr., the son of Bryan Cranston’s character, on Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013. His own experience with cerebral palsy brought added authenticity to the role.

Beyond acting, Mitte advocated for disability awareness and inclusion. He served as an ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children’s and led the Mitte Foundation.

His former co-stars have also paid tribute to him. Cranston remembered Mitte as a talented actor who approached his work with determination, while other cast members reflected on his kindness and the lasting impression he made on those around him.

Dyna said she wants her son to be remembered for his work, generosity and the people he helped throughout his life.

Queen drummer Roger Taylor has shared a rare update on former bandmate John Deacon, revealing that the two no longer speak. 

Taylor, Deacon, guitarist Brian May and frontman Freddie Mercury spent decades together, establishing Queen as one of rock’s most successful bands. All four members also played a role in writing Queen’s songs.

Deacon, in particular, wrote several of the band’s biggest hits, including “You’re My Best Friend,” “Another One Bites the Dust” and “I Want to Break Free.” 

Mercury’s death in 1991 marked the end of an era for Queen. While Taylor and May continued performing, Deacon gradually stepped away from the music industry, making just three public performances with Queen’s surviving members after Mercury’s death. 

His final appearance came in 1997, when Taylor, May and Deacon performed “The Show Must Go On” with Elton John.

Since then, Deacon has largely stayed out of public view. He also missed Queen’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and kept his distance when the band’s story reached the big screen in 2018 with Bohemian Rhapsody. 

Taylor recently addressed his relationship with his former bandmate, revealing that they aren’t in touch anymore. “John is a real recluse,” Taylor told Classic Rock. “I think he speaks to our lawyers and our accountant and that’s it.”

Taylor made it clear that their lack of contact wasn’t due to a falling-out, explaining that Deacon prefers a private life. 

“I really don’t know what John is doing now,” the drummer said. “He’s probably sitting in a room somewhere, counting his money.”

Taylor has previously spoken about the impact Mercury’s death had on Deacon. In an October 2026 interview with The Times, he reflected on how the loss changed the bassist’s relationship with music.

“It really broke us up, and I don’t think John Deacon did cope. He went to pieces. He didn’t want to go on in the music industry after that,” Taylor said.

Elizabeth Holmes is making a startling claim about her honesty in a new documentary that takes viewers inside her life in the weeks before she began serving her prison sentence.

In You Can See Everything, filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim get an unusually intimate look at the disgraced Theranos founder, who was convicted of defrauding investors over claims about her company’s blood-testing technology. During one exchange in the documentary, Fielder asks Holmes whether she has ever lied to anyone.

“I’ve never tried to deceive anyone,” Holmes responds, according to The Independent.

Fielder presses her further, asking whether she has “never lied” in her life.

Holmes replies, “I don’t think so.”

“Liz, what?” Fielder responds.

“I’ve always tried to say what I believe,” Holmes says.

The exchange is one of the documentary’s most striking moments, particularly given Holmes’ conviction for fraud and conspiracy in connection with Theranos, the blood-testing startup she founded in 2003. Holmes was convicted in January 2022 of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and three counts of wire fraud for defrauding investors in Theranos, the blood-testing company she founded. She was sentenced to 11 years and three months in federal prison in November 2022.

Throughout the documentary, Holmes maintains that she did not intentionally mislead people about Theranos’ technology.

You Can See Everything was filmed largely in secret over three years and follows Holmes, her partner, Billy Evans, and their two young children in the 34 days leading up to her reporting to prison in 2023. Holmes and Evans reportedly hoped the project would offer a different perspective on her story and challenge how the public has come to view her.

Its unconventional approach offers a new look at one of Silicon Valley’s most notorious scandals while raising questions about the difference between believing something to be true and actually telling the truth.

The nearly three-hour film, which co-directed by Fielder and Oppenheim, opened in theaters on October 16.

Kim Kardashian has spent almost 20 years in front of cameras. There’s one thing she still can’t watch: her 2008 run on Dancing With the Stars.

The All’s Fair star, 45, told Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday, Oct. 15, that she cried through it.

“I would honestly cry in my trailer, like, every single night, like, praying to get kicked off,” she said. “It was so hard for me.”

Kimmel brought it up for a reason. His sidekick, Guillermo Rodriguez, just went home in Week 5 of the current season with pro Witney Carson.

Kim was on Season 7 with pro Mark Ballas, and she was out after three weeks. She did the rehearsals. She put in the hours. She just couldn’t loosen up.

“I was so shy to do it,” she said. “I couldn’t get over myself. I couldn’t get into it.”

She says she’s never danced again. “I am traumatized,” she told Kimmel. “It’s, like, traumatized me for life.”

Then he played a clip of her dancing with Ballas. “I can’t even watch,” she said. “Like, I actually can’t even watch it.”

Kimmel asked when she’d last seen it. Turns out it was about three weeks ago, at a family poker night, when Kylie Jenner put it on the big movie screen.

“Half the people there didn’t know that I did it, and she wanted to show everyone,” Kim said. “Thank God it’s like so old that it’s like pixelated.”

Kim didn’t just sit there, though. She got up and went in front of the screen.

“I remembered some of my moves, and I wished that I had the, like, confidence that I do now,” she said.

That’s where the idea came from.

“I told my sisters, I was like, ‘Could you imagine if we did like a Kardashian-Jenner whole season of all of us, like, competing against each other on Dancing?'” she said. “And we all loved it.”

Kim wasn’t sure the show would go for it. “I don’t know if they would ever do that,” she said.

“I would just want us all back,” she said. “And I don’t know if they bring people back, but I do.”

Kimmel, whose show airs on ABC just like DWTS, told her they “would definitely bring you back.” Then he went a step further. “Don’t worry,” he said. “I’m going to make some calls.”

Her late father, Robert Kardashian, represented his old friend O.J. Simpson, and Kim was 14 during the case. She told Kimmel that after “it had all happened,” Simpson came to stay with her dad at the house. He brought his Louis Vuitton luggage.

Kim decided to “go play investigator.” She opened it all up in sister Khloé‘s room, went through it, closed it back up and went downstairs. Then she saw on the news that the bag was being seized.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my God, my fingerprints are all over it,'” she said.

She says it’s part of why she wanted to study law. Season 2 of All’s Fair, where she plays a divorce lawyer, premieres with three episodes on Nov. 4 on Hulu.

Gary Greff, a North Dakota artist, created a massive roadside sculpture that became not only a major tourist attraction but also a record-breaking feat of engineering. Known as Geese in Flight, the sculpture stands 110 feet tall.

Located just off Exit 72 on Interstate 94 near Gladstone, North Dakota, the masterpiece was strategically placed at the start of the 32-mile stretch of road known as the Enchanted Highway.

What began as a love for his hometown sparked a legacy that would help make North Dakota a popular tourist destination.

Before building the massive roadside art gallery, Greff, who was born and raised in Regent, North Dakota, returned to his hometown after 18 years away, having pursued a career in education and lived in various cities across the Midwest.

The former schoolteacher and high school principal noticed that his hometown was slowly dying as its economy and population dwindled.

This pushed Greff to take it upon himself to do something about it before his beloved hometown completely vanished from the map.

In 1989, he launched the Enchanted Highway project, transforming the 32-mile stretch of road into an outdoor art gallery featuring a series of giant scrap-metal sculptures.

“Our goal is to change Regent into the metal art capital of the world,” he said in a statement, as cited by NPR. “If nobody tries, we are a community that’s going to be extinct. I’m one person who will not let that happen.”

Greff drew inspiration from local wildlife and historical figures, including Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th U.S. president, whose formative experiences in North Dakota helped shape the leader he would become.

Among Greff’s early sculptures were “The Tin Family” in 1991, followed by Teddy Roosevelt Rides Again in 1993, Pheasants on the Prairie in 1996, Grasshoppers in the Field in 1999, Deer Crossing in 2002 and Fisherman’s Dream in 2006.

Of the collection of giant sculptures, one standout is Geese in Flight, completed in 2001. The installation measures 110 feet tall and 154 feet wide and depicts a flock of giant Canada geese soaring against the open sky.

Constructed from more than 300 sections of discarded oil tanks and oil well pipes, the sculpture was later recognized by the Guinness World Records in 2002 for becoming the largest scrap-metal sculpture.

With its growing popularity, Greff continues to create new sculptures for the Enchanted Highway.

One of the outdoor gallery’s latest additions is the Goliath-sized knight known as “Sir Albert and the Dragon,” officially completed by the end of 2023.

Alexander Skarsgård could wear a burlap sack and nothing could diminish his sex appeal. Even setting aside his strange and risky red carpet choices, the sweater he wore on The Graham Norton Show gave the appearance of a swamp creature or an overgrown garden. And yet, somehow, he still made it work.

Turns out the shaggy knit was a wink. The 6-foot-4 Swede is branching out with Wicker, a dark romantic comedy in which he plays the ultimate custom-made man: a husband woven entirely from willow for Olivia Colman’s lonely fisherwoman. And yes, even as a literal basket, he’s still a heartthrob.

Skarsgård admitted on Norton’s couch that he didn’t see it coming either. He assumed the script was The Wicker Man, the horror classic, and braced himself for something scary. Instead, he said, “it was a comedy with lots of sex.”

The filmmakers didn’t fully expect that, either. Co-director Eleanor Wilson told The Hollywood Reporter that the love scenes were meant to be played for laughs. Once Skarsgård was in costume and working with Colman and intimacy coordinator Ita O’Brien, though, they became surprisingly sexier than planned.

The man who made True Blood’s Eric Northman a sinister-yet-steamy vampire fantasy and smoldered through The Legend of Tarzan also admitted the role took him out of his comfort zone. Playing a nice guy, he told Norton, turned out to be hard.

Then came the moment that perked everyone up. Skarsgård explained that his suit, made by the same artists behind The Lord of the Rings, took 18 months to build, and that its finest feature was the nipples. He kept them, he said, for their extraordinary craftsmanship. Then he handed them over to a gobsmacked Norton.

Most stars leave the set with a script or a mug. Skarsgård walked away with a pair of handcrafted twig nipples, and then gave them away on national television. Fans can see the full wicker package when Wicker opens in limited theaters Oct. 23.

For Skarsgård, the costume may have been a work of art. For Norton, it’s now a rather intimate piece of Skarsgård memorabilia.
