If you work in media, you’ve likely encountered Getty Images more times than you can count. The company’s seemingly endless library of photographs covers just about every topic imaginable, from celebrity red-carpet appearances and breaking political news to lifestyle trends and everyday moments. Even if you’ve never worked in publishing, you’ve likely spotted the Getty Images credit beneath a photo in an online article or news report. It’s one of those names so ingrained in the media landscape that you might not give it a second thought.

But even a company with that kind of reach isn’t immune to industry shifts. Getty Images has faced challenges in recent years as the media business continues to evolve, with the rise of artificial intelligence adding another layer of uncertainty. AI-generated images are changing how publishers and other businesses source visuals, raising questions about demand for traditional stock photography and the value of the images themselves.

Getty has also been navigating the broader financial pressures facing the stock photography industry. Now the company faces another major challenge: bankruptcy.

On Monday, Oct. 12, the company announced its plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The move follows a deal to restructure its finances with help from existing investors and lenders. As part of the agreement, financial stakeholders have committed up to $533 million in new money to the company. Meanwhile, many of its lenders have agreed to forgive or eliminate $270 million in existing debt, reduce interest payments and give the company more time to repay what it still owes.

What Prompted This Decision?

The deal is designed to ease Getty Images’ financial burden and give it a better shot at getting back on solid footing. Once the restructuring is complete, the company will become privately owned rather than publicly traded, with the Getty family and Koch-affiliated investors owning the entire business.

“Over more than 30 years, Getty Images has operated an extremely successful and highly differentiated business,” said Craig Peters, chief executive officer of Getty Images, in a statement. “Core pillars of our success are the longstanding commitment of our customers and partners, the deep expertise and creativity of our team and content contributors, and the uniqueness of our archive. This transaction speaks to another pillar: the steadfast support of the Getty family, Koch Equity Development and our lenders.”

According to the company’s statement, business will continue as usual for Getty Images’ day-to-day operations. It doesn’t expect any impact on its content contributors, partners, customers or employees.

9-1-1: Nashville premiered its second season on Thursday, October 15, with a dedication to Fiona Lowe.

Fiona died on September 29 at age 13. She was the daughter of producer Kim Painter’s and Chad Lowe, who is an executive producer and director of the show.

The ABC series included a title card that stated, “In Loving Memory, Fiona Lowe,” along with a photo of her.

Chad directed three episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville last season and returned to direct the first episode of season two. He directed six episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star while also acting in the show as Robert Strand, brother to Owen Strand, played by the actor’s real-life brother, Rob Lowe.

Fiona’s death was ruled a suicide.

Chad and Painter shared a statement with People after she died in September.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” they wrote. They described their daughter as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” they continued, adding, “In fact, she was the light of our lives.”

“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”

“American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend Leticia Cline have called it quits after seven years together.

Cline took to social media, announcing the news that the two were no longer together.

“After seven years together, Mike and I are no longer in a relationship,” she began. “For the past two months I’ve been trying to come to terms with things that have left me absolutely devastated. While the world continues to see one version of someone, I’ve been living with a very different reality.”

“There is so much I have kept private over the past 10 years. Things I have witnessed. Things I have experienced. And things I stayed silent about because I loved someone and believed I was protecting him,” Cline continued. “I now realize how much that silence has cost me.”

“I have a great deal to say, and there are reasons I’ve remained quiet for so long. What I will say is that the person the public knows and the person I knew behind closed doors are not the same,” she concluded. “I need time to process everything and decide how to move forward. But I will no longer protect a narrative at the expense of my own truth.”

Wolfe and Cline were first rumored to be together in 2021, which came shortly after his seperation from his former wife, Jodi Wolfe, who filed for divorce in November 2020. In court documents, she said they had split months earlier.

This news also comes just a few months after Wolfe revealed he suffered a heartbreaking loss, with his dog, Francie Joe, having died. In an Instagram post in July, he said his dog had died after a “tragic accident.” Wolfe called her, “family,” adding that “she was everything I ever dreamed of in a dog. And now she’s gone pulled from this world too soon.”

The Traitors: New Blood has arrived! Throughout the season, Mike Bloom will speak with someone from the star-studded cast who was murdered or banished on the iconic Emmy-winning reality series.

It’s only fitting that Michael Foote’s primary strategy on The Traitors: New Blood was to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The lawyer was upfront with his profession from the beginning, and established himself as one of the most vocal Faithfuls from the jump. We saw that in the very first Roundtable of the season, when he made the opening argument that Victor Vollbrechthausen’s perspiration was making him the perpetrator. When Michael received intel that a recruitment in plain sight happened, he immediately brought it to the group, hoping it established him as the “Faithful of the Faithful” of the season.

A game like The Traitors, however, can get you in your head and out of your mind. And, with the Faithfuls unsuccessful in nabbing a Traitor, they fell into a pattern of suspecting everybody — even their closest allies. After a murder in plain sight had the Traitors feeling the heat (and the fruit), they decided to turn everyone’s focus onto Michael, someone who, on paper, would be perfect to recruit. And so Michael suddenly found himself going from a Roundtable prosecutor to a defendant, trying (and ultimately failing) to avoid a guilty verdict.

Talk me through your reaction when your name gets brought up at this most recent Roundtable. Were you taken by surprise?
I knew that they were coming for my f—king wig. Because every single time I walked into a room, people hit the decks like someone yelled “Gun!” Like there was gunshots every time I entered the room. For probably two days before that Roundtable, people wouldn’t f—king sit down and have strategy talks with me. I think the last time someone sat down with me was Katie before the previous Roundtable where we voted for Sherry. People wouldn’t talk to me, and I’m sorry. I look pretty good. I’m pretty likable. Why doesn’t anyone want to sit with me at breakfast? How come nobody wants to go have a little chat with me? Suddenly, I’ve got all this free time to enjoy the paintings in the castle!

And so I knew going into that Roundtable, especially because the “Dolls” [alliance] hadn’t met in quite a minute, that something was going on. And Clyde and Ben, God bless them, they’re not particularly brilliant with the gameplay. I don’t think I was particularly surprised to find out that they were coming for me. They were not particularly subtle. I would say they were quite club-footed with it.

Let’s talk about “The Dolls” alliance you had with Abbey B., Ben and Clyde. How much of an out-and-out “alliance” was it? What was your reaction to them turning on you?
I think I very much thought that there was cohesion to the Dolls meeting and conspiring against me behind my back. I think that is an attribute I ascribed to them quite generously. When actually this was quite an off-the-cuff, non-strategic, downright stupid decision to banish me. If I’m a f—king Traitor, why are you banishing me?! We’re in an alliance together. That’s how you get to the end! Are you dumb?

So I think that this was literally the machinations and the emotional turmoil of Ben and Clyde. They never f—king talked to Abbey about whether or not they’re going to banish me. I assumed they all were coming together to vote together. That they had talked about me all day when nobody would sit down with my ass, so I was kind of like, “What do you mean you guys didn’t actually sit down and talk?” After we wrapped, I found out from Abbey; she was like, “Yeah, they never talked to me about that vote.” So for me, I’m like, “Oh, I absolutely should have just eaten you alive at the Roundtable then!” Because I assumed that this was a foregone conclusion when it wasn’t. That’s my bad.

What did you make of the logic people were using at the Roundtable, saying that you would be the perfect type of person to be recruited as a Traitor?
I think your question’s quite generous using the word “logic.” I don’t think Ben and Clyde could punch their way out of a f—king paper bag. Thank God Ben works with animals because people.,I don’t know if he’s so good with them. I think that there’s something really fascinating about the logic that they used. I think it’s like making two left turns down the wrong-way street. I guess eventually you kind of end up going the right way. But I don’t think that there was any logic to it. I think it was confused emotions, and I think that they mistook my confidence for traitorousness. That is not at all something that is true. So I think their logic, I’m not even going to try and follow it. Because it wasn’t logic, and I don’t really want to confuse myself.

Well, let’s talk about your own line of logic. You were admant from the beginning that Victor was a Traitor, coming after him for sweating when the blindfolds came off. What made you so suspicious of him?
I still think Victor’s a Traitor! That guy’s a f—king Traitor. I swear to God. I’m not kidding, Mike. There’s gonna be a f—cking twist. Then he’ll be like the Secret Traitor or some s—t. That guy was so suspicious. Why are you sweating so much? That room is f—king freezing. That wool sweater in that first episode. I’m not kidding. I could have worn that in a New York winter with no jacket and been warm. And I’m a sweaty Greek man! I’m sweaty too. I’m like a huge man in a wool sweater. He’s in a T-shirt. Why is he sweating looking so nervous? If you are not a Traitor and you’re not that, and you’re that sweaty, that nervous, you got to see the doctor.

So I don’t know what was going on with that. He was acting so suspicious. Something weird going on with him and Jay. He was just acting so shady. And he had no credibility in the castle. No one wanted to actually have gameplay chats with him. And even though he was right about who the Traitors are, he could never whip a vote together. So if a tree falls in the woods, baby, no one’s around to hear it, maybe work on your social game a little bit more, and people will actually want to sit down with you, hear what you have to say. But nobody wants to sit down with you. That’s kind of on you, hun.

Who else was on your radar as a Traitor by the time you left?
So I thought the murder in plain sight — which was very stupid, by the way, with the apple. Clyde is allergic to fruit. Why are we throwing fruit at people if we have someone who’s allergic? Why is there food? Why is anything related to food? We’ve got vegans, we’ve got celiac, we’ve got everything. Tomica’s a vegetarian. Is it throw a steak at somebody and then they get murdered, that doesn’t make any f—king sense. So everything in previous seasons was a chalice, a brooch. It was a painting on the wall. It’s always something in the universe of the Traitors. It’s never food or drink. So why is it food? It made no sense.

So while this was all happening, Victor and Abby L. were like, “Oh, there’s a murder in plain sight.” And I thought that was them double bluffing, trying to cover the fact that they were Traitors and do the actual murder. Because they were trying to have us focus on the apple so much that I was like, “No, this is not making a lot of sense.”

Abby, while she was doing that, was playing with the sundial in the kitchen. And I was like, “Well, sundial, that is something. If you create a distraction, do what you need to do with the sundial to murder somebody, and then you have everyone focus on the fruit.” We were eating at all times. We’re in that castle all day, all night. So, to use food as a cover, I assumed it was Victor being an idiot, which he had proven himself to be time and time again before that. I assumed that was just a distraction from the actual murder, which would make more sense if it were something talismanic from the universe of Traitors, not an apple.

Well, let’s get into the apple tosser himself: Joe. It’s clear you had a bond with him in the castle, even calling him an “important emotional touchstone” for you. Talk to me about your relationship and your reaction to him being a Traitor.
Everyone in that castle is a f—king idiot. I know Joe from real life now. He is my good Judy. He’s my boy. He’s my bestie. I talk to him every day. I have dinner with his wife and his kids. We go on double dates with my husband and his wife. He’s my boy from Long Island, not the castle. I know him from post-filming, so we are besties now. I talk to him more than I talk to my own family.

At the time in the castle, when we were filming, it was really interesting to sort of come across someone like Joe. I think he and I are quite similar in that we’re quite sensitive emotional players. And I did not expect to find that in a straight dude from Long Island in his 40s. That was very surprising for me. So I had a blast playing with him. I loved strategizing with him. I really don’t give a s—it that he was a Traitor. I actually think it’s like more impressive that he was.

And after we finished filming, after I went home, I got a call from production that I had a message from Joe. That he wanted me to know that everything that happened in the castle between the two of us was very real. That his love for me, that his support of me, and that conversation around my sexuality, being alone as a gay kid, was all very real. It was like a lovely British person calling me to let me know about this person who’s still in the game after I’m banished. I’m unpacking my suitcases. I got a call because I met Joe on the train. I don’t know this guy. I only knew him in the castle. I don’t have his phone number. I don’t know his last name. I don’t know his Instagram. I can’t find this person. I just had this crazy emotional journey with.

So to get that phone call while he’s still in the game, I was like, “Oh, he’s a real one.” Because he knew, “Michael just found out I’m a Traitor. I would never want him to think that his sexuality and our conversation around his sexual orientation and his support of me was gameplay. I couldn’t live with myself if Michael was walking around New York right now thinking that this was gameplay.” And so he made production call me at home on a late-night WhatsApp phone call. So that’s how you know you got a real bad bitch in your life, and he’ll always be a part of my life.

My best friend killed himself when I was a teenager. So that conversation around my sexuality when I was with Joe, when I’m talking about how lonely it was to be the only gay kid. When I’m talking about how lonely it was to figure out that I was gay, have a best friend who was also gay, and then that person dies so suddenly. This was at a time we didn’t have representation. We didn’t have the first Queer Eye yet; this was like 2003. I didn’t have anything to look to. We didn’t really have the internet, so I was very, very alone when I figured out when I figured out my sexuality. And I was surrounded by people like Joe who looked and sounded like him.

So to be there with him in that moment, to have him defend me so fiercely. I mean, we really only see Victor come for me at the Roundtable. Everybody [was]. Clyde had been bringing my name up every single Roundtable. Clyde, my own alliance member, brought up my name! So it was so hard for me to be surrounded by so many queer people who were f—king coming for me, eating me alive. When I grew up so alone and figuring out my sexuality all by myself, going through the horrendous grief of your best friend killing themselves, no one really understanding why that grief was so real, because of my sexuality, because I was the only other f—king gay person I had ever met.

To then turn around and have someone like Joe have my back. Someone who looks and sounds like every homophobic asshole that I’ve ever encountered in my youth, was extraordinarily healing in a way that I’m still coming to terms with. I mean, we send each other letters! We are there for each other. I take a two-hour Uber ride to his house because I don’t drive. Having someone like that in your life, I was not ready for it. I was not ready to meet someone like that in the castle. And I did, and I’m forever grateful for it. So I hope all the Faithfuls f—king die in a fire, and I hope Joe wins.

Selma Blair has released a new statement through her representative, addressing her arrest following an altercation that occurred on a Delta Airlines flight.

“Since Sunday night, the public account of what happened to Selma aboard a flight to New York has been built almost entirely on a police statement and a decade-old headline,” Blair’s spokesperson began, per PEOPLE. “A handful of journalists have taken the time to report on Selma as a human being rather than a headline, and we are grateful to them,”

“But fair reporting has been the exception, and in the space left by our silence, speculation has hardened into something being treated as fact. We can, however, correct the record on a few points already in public circulation. Selma Blair experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone,” the statement continued.

The incident occurred on Oct. 11 at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, where Blair was arrested for harming crew members on the flight as well as others after landing. She appeared in court the next day, pleading not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault. Blair was released on bail.

The actress has also been open about her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.

The statement further said that the “suggestion by anyone that Selma does not have multiple sclerosis is outrageous. Her diagnosis has been public since 2018. What Selma has been able to do physically in the years since is nothing short of a miracle. She still has bad days, and she lives with pain daily. Selma also has pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition secondary to her MS, which bears directly on how a medical episode presents to people who do not know her. For the same reason, she travels with a service dog who doesn’t leave her side, and the authorities took her dog from her.”

Her representative also highlighted all Blair has done this year, including her work on television and film projects as well as launching a skin care line and being an advocate for disability rights, the MS community, and the Jewish community.

Selma had never been arrested before Sunday night,” the statement added. “There is much more to this story than has been reported, and we ask to consider the entirety of the facts before rushing to judgment, whether in the courtroom or in the court of public opinion.”

There are plenty of ways to add ‘tanginess’ to a dish. A squeeze of lemon works. So does lime juice, vinegar or tamarind. But what happens when you want that same bright, mouth-puckering lift without adding any extra liquid? That’s where amchur comes in.

The pale golden powder may not look especially dramatic sitting in the spice cabinet, but even a small amount can change the way a dish tastes. It’s tart, fruity and intensely sour, making it particularly useful when vegetables, meats or snacks need something to wake them up. It’s also an ingredient with deep roots in Indian cooking, where you’ll find it in everything from spice blends to curries and fried snacks.

So what exactly is amchur, and how do you use it without making dinner overwhelmingly sour? Here’s what to know.

What Is Amchur?

Amchur is a powder made from dried unripe mangoes. You’ll also see the name spelled amchoor or aamchur, and packages may simply call it dried mango powder.

The Spice House explains that the ingredient is made by harvesting mangoes while they’re still unripe, drying them and then grinding the fruit into a fine powder.

Some producers use slightly different techniques. Burlap & Barrel, for example, makes its Alphonso mango amchur by grating green mangoes, adding a very small amount of salt, sun-drying the fruit and then milling it into powder. The resulting spice is concentrated, dry and distinctly tart.

That last part is important because ripe mango isn’t really a good comparison. Amchur doesn’t taste like the sweet, juicy fruit you might add to a smoothie. The mangoes are harvested before ripening, when they’re considerably more acidic.

What Does Amchur Taste Like?

Think sour, fruity and citrusy, with a subtle mango flavor underneath. Burlap & Barrel compares its version to lemon zest with a tropical edge, while The Spice House describes amchur as citrusy and tangy.

The easiest way to understand its role is to think of it as a dry souring ingredient. A squeeze of lemon adds acidity, but also adds liquid. Amchur can deliver a similar brightening effect while keeping the dish dry. That’s particularly handy in recipes where additional moisture could be a problem, including spice rubs, fried foods or fillings.

Bon Appétit writer Priya Krishna has highlighted exactly that quality, noting that amchur can bring tang to food without adding moisture and that it can be used in everything from marinades to savory dishes.

Is Amchur Spicy?

Despite being sold alongside chilies, cumin and other spices, amchur isn’t hot. Its intensity comes from acidity rather than chile heat. That means adding more won’t necessarily make your dish spicier—it’ll make it increasingly tart.

Amchur does, however, appear in spice blends that contain hot ingredients. One familiar example is chaat masala, a savory, tangy blend that often contains amchur alongside spices such as cumin, coriander, black pepper and asafoetida.

Epicurious’ chaat masala recipe, adapted from Mark Bittman‘s The Best Recipes in the World, uses amchur as the blend’s primary souring ingredient. So if you’re tasting heat alongside that sourness, it’s probably coming from something else in the mix.

What Is Amchur Used For?

Amchur shows up in a wide range of Indian cooking, particularly when a dish benefits from acidity without extra liquid. For this reason, Serious Eats includes amchur among the pantry staples associated with North Indian cooking, where it provides sourness in dishes alongside other regional ingredients and spices.

The Spice House recommends it for curries, stir-fries, vegetables and meat, as well as foods such as samosas, pakoras, chutneys and pickles. It’s also commonly used as part of a finishing seasoning.

Bon Appétit, for instance, uses amchur-containing chaat masala on crispy fish, where the tart seasoning helps balance richer and sweeter flavors. At home, amchur can work especially well with:

• Roasted potatoes and other vegetables
• Chickpeas and lentils
• Grilled or roasted chicken
• Fish
• Chutneys
• Curries
• Fruit
• Marinades
• Savory snacks
• Yogurt-based sauces

Burlap & Barrel also recommends sprinkling its amchur over roasted vegetables or grilled chicken and stirring it into marinades, chutneys and salad dressings.

How Do You Cook With Amchur?

Start small. Because amchur is concentrated and tart, you usually don’t need much to change the balance of a dish.

If you’re following a recipe, use the amount specified. If you’re experimenting, add a small pinch or roughly ¼ teaspoon at a time, taste and adjust.

You can stir amchur into a dish during cooking or add it closer to the end, depending on what you’re making. Using it as a finishing spice can give foods a noticeable pop of acidity, while adding it into a marinade or sauce distributes the tartness more evenly throughout the dish.

And because it doesn’t introduce liquid, it’s particularly useful in dry spice mixtures. That makes amchur an easy ingredient to experiment with beyond strictly traditional recipes. A pinch can brighten roasted cauliflower, potatoes, chickpeas or even popcorn without making any of them wet.

Is Amchur the Same as Chaat Masala?

No. This is an easy mix-up because amchur is frequently an ingredient in chaat masala, but the two aren’t interchangeable.

Amchur is dried mango powder by itself. Chaat masala is a spice blend. Recipes vary, but it commonly combines amchur with other ingredients such as cumin, coriander, black pepper, asafoetida and salt.

Amchur provides much of the blend’s characteristic sourness, while the other spices build additional savory, earthy and sometimes spicy flavors. Think of it like cinnamon versus pumpkin pie spice: One may be an important ingredient in the other, but they aren’t the same thing.

What Can You Substitute for Amchur?

If you don’t have amchur, the best substitute depends on the recipe. For many dishes, lemon or lime juice can provide the acidity you’re missing. The catch is that citrus juice introduces moisture and has its own distinctive flavor.

Tamarind can also add tartness, although its darker, fruitier flavor is noticeably different.

Years before Theranos became synonymous with one of Silicon Valley’s most notorious scandals, Holmes reportedly named Alabama’s “I’m in a Hurry (And Don’t Know Why)” as her favorite song in her high school yearbook.

Elizabeth Meriwether, creator of Hulu’s The Dropout, discussed the yearbook detail in a 2022 interview with the Los Angeles Times, explaining how it helped inspire the series’ musical choices.

“Another big part of the reason I went to music in this show was that the information I had was that specifically that song ‘I’m in a Hurry’ was in her yearbook in high school as her favorite song,” Meriwether told the outlet. “As soon as I listened to it, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s what this whole thing is about.’”

The Royal Hawaiian, known around the world as the Pink Palace of the Pacific, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a week of festivities, special dining experiences, and a glamorous black-tie gala capped by fireworks over Waikiki Beach.

Located along Oahu’s famous Waikiki shoreline, the luxury resort officially opened on February 1, 1927. Now, a century later, it’s preparing to mark the milestone with a series of events celebrating its history, cultural significance and legacy of hospitality.

The celebrations begin Jan. 25, 2027, with the resort’s Ahaaina Luau and the opening of a time capsule exhibit in its Historic Gallery. Highlights include a Royal Rosé Garden Party Brunch on Jan. 30, featuring pink cocktails and signature mini pink pancakes.

On Feb. 1, the resort’s official 100th anniversary, guests can attend a ceremonial blessing honoring its history before choosing between two evening events. The Surf Room Soirée will feature Roaring Twenties-inspired dining and fireworks over Waikiki Beach, while the black-tie Centennial Gala will include a three-course dinner, live entertainment featuring the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and headliner Robert Cazimero, and another fireworks display.

The centennial also coincides with a major refresh of the resort, with construction expected to wrap up in late 2026, which includes updated rooms in the Historic Wing and Mailani Tower, refreshed public spaces, and new design details that blend modern luxury with the resort’s storied past.

The Mailani Tower’s 179 newly reimagined rooms and suites feature custom-carved furnishings, curated textiles, garden-inspired artwork and private lanais overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In the Historic Wing, which dates to the resort’s 1927 opening, updated rooms incorporate custom wood entertainment centers and seating areas inspired by the building’s architecture. Original doors featuring the Hawaii state seal remain a distinctive reminder of the property’s past.

Public spaces are receiving attention, too. The lobby’s refreshed design draws inspiration from the glamour of the Art Deco era while preserving original Spanish-Moorish archways and painted ceilings. The Monarch Ballroom is slated for updated carpeting and wall treatments, while Azure will receive new furnishings, a jewel-toned bar and coastal-inspired touches.

The Mai Tai Bar, meanwhile, was refreshed in 2025 with new furniture, lounge seating and airy cabanas.

“For a century, The Royal Hawaiian has embodied timeless elegance and a legacy of gracious hospitality,” Nicole Okuna, the resort’s general manager and the fourth woman to lead the property, said in a statement shared with Parade. “This once-in-a-generation milestone offers an opportunity to celebrate the Pink Palace of the Pacific’s extraordinary heritage, honor the cherished stories that have shaped its remarkable history, and create new memories that will inspire future generations for years to come.”

It’s not often that Starz wants to share its content, especially what was once its most popular. Yet, in November 2026, all six seasons of Power will head to Netflix.

The rest of the franchise will only be available to stream on Starz. Adding Power to the global streamer is a strong move, helping to boost awareness of the franchise as a whole.

When Will ‘Power’ Come to Netflix?

What’s on Netflix shared the exciting update, saying that all six seasons of Power will be available on Netflix as of Nov. 9, 2026. It’s not clear how long this license will be for, but a lot of Starz agreements are for one to two years.

Just recently, Heels left the streamer after two years, dashing the hopes that there would be a third season after Starz’s abrupt cancellation. That was under an exclusive agreement, but it doesn’t look like Power will be. This is likely a non-exclusive agreement since the show remains popular.

That includes his former flame, Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Valdes, which causes problems with his wife, Tasha.

Power ran from 2014 to 2020, and no, it wasn’t abruptly canceled. In the end, it spawned an entire franchise, with Power Book II: Ghost continuing the story after the 2020 series finale, following Ghost’s son, Tariq. Power Book III: Raising Kanan was a prequel series set in the 1990s, and then Power Book IV: Force followed Tommy’s story after the events of the flagship’s ending, as he left New York City for Chicago.

The other shows in the franchise are available to stream on Starz. There are no signs that they will join Netflix just yet, which makes the licensing agreement make sense. After all, you’ll want to continue the story once you catch the best show ever to come from Starz!

Forty years after appearing in her first Hallmark movie, the Emmy-winning, Hallmark Hall of Fame film Promise, beloved actress Barbara Niven kicks off the network’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas lineup on Friday, October 16, in the opening scene of Hallmark’s first new movie of the holiday season, ‘Tis the Season for Setups.

It’s a full-circle moment for Niven, whose role as June in 1986’s Promise alongside James Garner and James Woods, earned her a coveted SAG card (meaning she became a member of the Screen Actors Guild, the labor union representing film and television actors). Today, the 73-year-old actress is a legend at Hallmark, where she’s appeared in over two dozen movies, including playing Alison Sweeney‘s feisty mom Delores in the popular Hannah Swensen Mysteries franchise.

“It was a pretty easy decision to make,” she admits. “I wouldn’t be here without my sister.”
