Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone can try to correct those mistakes. And everyone can also use those mistakes for a little clapback humor, as Ella Langley showed.

The exchange started on the Aug. 23 episode of Sundae Conversation, when host Caleb Pressley asked Doja Cat if she considered herself a fan of Langley’s. It came off the back of an unrelated joke, and Doja, seemingly caught off guard, replied that she didn’t know what he was talking about. Pressley pressed further, asking directly if she liked Langley’s music. Doja repeated the name back to herself twice, as if trying to place it, and again said she had no idea.

The response drew attention mostly because of timing. Langley’s single “Choosin’ Texas” had just tied the record for the second-longest run atop the Billboard Hot 100 among non-holiday songs, a chart feat matched by only a handful of releases in the chart’s history. Two days later, Doja addressed the clip during a livestream, explaining that her unfamiliarity wasn’t a slight against Langley personally but a reflection of how little she follows country music as a genre. She listened to “Choosin’ Texas” for the first time on stream and offered a mixed but respectful review, calling the track catchy and Langley’s voice pretty, even while admitting the song wasn’t for her.

Then Langley responded. On Aug. 27, she posted a carousel of tour photos and videos to Instagram with a caption that sent Doja’s own words back at her: “Ella Langley? What is that?” The post itself had nothing to do with the exchange. It was simply footage from her Dandelion Tour, dogs and makeup chairs included, but the caption did the work.

Both artists have plenty of receipts to back up their confidence. Doja Cat has three Grammy Awards and a string of pop and hip-hop hits, including “Say So” and “Paint the Town Red,” that have made her one of the most recognizable voices in music over the past five years. Langley, meanwhile, has spent 2026 rewriting country’s chart history: “Choosin’ Texas” tied for the second-longest run atop the Billboard Hot 100 among non-holiday songs, and she picked up seven ACM Awards this year alone. Neither artist needed the other’s approval to prove it.

Langley didn’t need a lengthy statement or a pointed comeback to make her point, she just borrowed the exact phrase that had gone viral days earlier and let her own chart numbers speak for the rest. Zing!

Even though Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for its 23rd season, the decades-long hit TV show’s biggest star is swapping white coats for another series.

Ellen Pompeo will play Amelia Winn, a former ER nurse who lost her hearing in a hit-and-run accident. The series follows Winn and her service dog as they become entangled in a mystery surrounding the death of one of her former co-workers.

While not actively in the medical field for the new show, who better to play a former ER nurse than one of TV’s most recognizable doctors?

Pompeo is expected to return for Grey’s Anatomy’s new season, meaning her days as Dr. Meredith Grey aren’t over just yet, but fans can see her put a new spin on a medical role in Not a Sound.

Hulu’s new series is based on Heather Gudenkauf’s 2017 novel of the same name, with Pompeo also attached as an executive producer on the project, lending her voice behind the scenes while portraying a character navigating a world without sound.

Fans may have to wait a while before seeing Pompeo step into the role, however. Not a Sound is still in development at Hulu, with no production timeline or premiere date announced just yet.

The award-winning actress has been selective about taking on roles outside of Grey’s Anatomy, having become synonymous with Meredith Grey over the past two decades, so the new project should give her fans something fresh to look forward to.

It also marks another major Hulu project for the actress. In 2025, Pompeo stepped outside the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial to star as Kristine Barnett in Good American Family for 8 episodes, her first major role outside of Grey’s since the medical drama premiered in the early 2000s.

Until Not a Sound hits living rooms, fans can expect to see Pompeo return to her most iconic role when Grey’s Anatomy premieres October 15 on ABC, though her appearances may be limited.

Actor Brian Thomas Smith, who played one of Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) love interests, Zack Johnson, in the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, shared that an episode involving his character and Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) ended up getting cut.

During an August 2026 interview on The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast, Smith, who joined the show’s cast during its season 3 finale, said that a script was written for a season 4 episode, wherein Zack tried to give Sheldon dating advice. However, Cuoco ended up breaking her leg after a horse riding accident two days before the episode was supposed to be taped.

“They’re like, ‘She can’t do the episode, so you’re not going to be able to do the episode.’ Because that was the whole episode. And I was given Sheldon advice on women in that episode. I vaguely remember it ’cause we only had like a few days of rehearsals on it, but they had to write me out. And I was like, ‘This is my luck.’ They just wrote me out,” said Smith.

He also said while he was disappointed that he didn’t get to film the episode, he wasn’t an overall fan of the plot.

“It wasn’t good. I think Zack was kind of mean still. He was, like, kind of more like a womanizer type of guy,” said Smith.

Kaley Cuoco Shared Details About Her Injury in a 2010 Interview

Cuoco discussed breaking her leg in a 2010 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I had a freak accident. It actually was the end of my lesson. I’d been jumping all day,” said Cuoco in the 2010 interview. “At the end of the lesson, my horse spooked, and I wasn’t really expecting it. But I fell off. And I was laughing and my trainer was laughing. It was very, very silly. So, I was actually getting up, and my horse was still kind of spooking. He was in the corner. He was trying to get away from me. He leaped over me and landed on my leg.”

Cuoco, who starred as Penny throughout the show’s entire 12-season run, which ended in 2019, also shared that her leg injury wasn’t written into The Big Bang Theory. Instead, her cast was hidden by having her bartend at Penny’s then-workplace, The Cheesecake Factory.

Barbara Eden has been an enduring star in Hollywood for more than seven decades, building a remarkable career that began in the 1950s and eventually made her a household name. But early on, the future I Dream of Jeannie star was brutally rejected by a casting director who told her she would never make it in show business—because he felt she wasn’t a traditional Hollywood beauty.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in an interview published in August 2026, Eden, 95, revealed that when she was first trying to break into acting in the 1950s, a Warner Bros. casting agent shot her down.

“I went in, and the man was, ‘Okay,’ kind of abrupt,” Eden recalled. “And he said, ‘Look … you’re just not the type. You’re not. You’re not Hollywood type.”

The man then showed Eden a photo of his big-breasted daughter and told her, “‘This is what they want. This is a picture of my daughter. Big t—s.’”

“Lord, I was just shocked,” Eden shared, noting that she didn’t grow up in a home where such crude language was used. “He said, ‘You’re a pretty enough girl… but you’re not beautiful … You won’t make it. Go home and marry the boyfriend at home.’”

Eden didn’t let the casting director deter her, and months later she ran into him again. While she assumed she was doomed, he gave her a screentest, seemingly not remembering her from before.

Eden went on to play a pretty best friend on Father Knows Best, a bombshell on I Love Lucy, and other glamorous TV characters before becoming a beach bottle blonde on I Dream Of Jeannie for five seasons in the late 1960s.

In the 1957 I Love Lucy episode, Eden’s character, Diana Jordan, had all the men lining up to dance with her, leaving their wives jealous.

“It was about a dance at the country club, and none of the men wanted to dance, you know, all the wives were sitting there,” she once told the Television Academy Foundation. “And here I was in that dress.… I came to sit down, and someone asked me to dance and then they all stood up and wanted to ask me to dance.  It was one of those things, and of course I danced with Desi and that gave Lucy lots of fodder, you know, to make her faces and look upset,”

Still, when it came time to audition for I Dream of Jeannie, Eden didn’t think she fit the role.

“They had every tall brunette, winner of many beauty contests, they were testing,” Eden told People magazine in July. “I thought, ‘Oh, it’s not for me.’ The Middle Eastern girl, and that’s what they wanted. I’m a blonde, short blonde.“

Once her agent informed her she had the part, Eden was stunned.

 “Do they know what I look like?” she asked.

The ’60s were filled with fantasy sitcoms, from Bewitched to The Addams Family, but one has remained a TV staple for generations despite only being on air for a handful of years.

Yes, we are talking about I Dream of Jeannie, the TV series starring Barbara Eden as a 2,000-year-old genie who falls in love with astronaut Tony Nelson, played by Larry Hagman.

The show ran from September 18, 1965, to May 26, 1970, on NBC, but it went on to inspire countless TV shows and movies over the years, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

When casting the show, producer Sidney Sheldon was adamant that he did not want a blonde actress to avoid comparisons to another fantasy sitcom airing at the time — Bewitched — but Eden’s appeal was undeniable.

“They had every tall brunette, winner of many beauty contests, they were testing,” Eden told People in 2026. “I thought, ‘Oh, it’s not for me.’ The Middle Eastern girl, and that’s what they wanted.”

She continued, “I’m a blonde, short blonde. And then my agent sent me a script, and I read it. And then I went, ‘Oh, this seems familiar.’ And he said, ‘Barbara, how did you like it?'”

The rest is history.

Another fun fact about the show, which aired its first season in black-and-white, was that Eden was pregnant in Season 1, prompting the colorless episodes.

“I was pregnant. I was going to have a baby, and so they started fast, and I think they thought I was going to die or something. They didn’t want to invest the money in the color,” she explained to People.

Eden recently celebrated her 95th birthday in August 2025, and fans of the sitcom flooded her social media account with fond memories of I Dream of Jeannie.

“You were a special part of my childhood as Jeannie,” one follower commented before another added, “Thank you for the many wonderful memories throughout the decades.”

A third chimed in, “Thank you for being a favorite memory of mine, thank you for the countless laughs.

Luckily, fans can still stream every episode of I Dream of Jeannie on Tubi.

Iggy Pop‘s song, “Lust for Life,” marked another collaboration with David Bowie that took 20 years to gain popularity, but still managed to become one of the rock genre’s greatest tracks.

After a period of drug addiction, Pop reunited with Bowie to work on his second solo album, Lust for Life. It was their second time working together since Bowie’s The Idiot album that released earlier that year. Pop often described his friendship with Bowie as, “this guy salvaged me from certain professional and maybe personal annihilation.”

They soon began working on “Lust for Life,” which was originally developed by Bowie on a ukulele while he was lying down. The song’s popular opening sound was actually inspired by a famous ’70s series starring Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul.

“Once a week the Armed Forces Network would play Starsky & Hutch and that was our little ritual. AFN would broadcast an ID when they came on the air, a representation of a radio tower, and it made a signal sound, ‘beep-beep-beep, beep-beep-ba-beep.’ And we went, ‘Aha we’ll take that!’ David grabbed his ukulele, worked out the chords, and away we went,” said Pop to Q magazine.

The track was released in 1977, but failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It instead landed at No. 3 on the Dutch Top 40 and No. 4 in the Netherlands. “Lust for Life” wouldn’t become a hit and re-enter the charts until decades later in 1996 when it was featured in the British film Trainspotting. It starred Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd, Robert Carlyle, and Kelly Macdonald, and was praised by critics as one of the best films of the 90s.

The film heavily used “Lust for Life” for its marketing and included it in its soundtrack. Its resurgence even led Pop’s then-label to issue a greatest hits compilation album.

“When I made Lust for Life, I really thought America was gonna rock to this motherfucker. And it took 20 fuckin’ years, which is a really long time to wait. I guess what happened is that there was this system that wasn’t gonna fuckin’ give me a break, and I outlived the system,” said Pop in a 1999 interview.

“The movies and advertisers have subverted the stranglehold of radio in America, and there are now other ways for people to hear music. All of a sudden—a few years ago when Trainspotting came out—I was walkin’ down the street and I’d heard Raw Power comin’ out of the bars.”

The Pop and Bowie collaboration is a music staple, ranked by Rolling Stone at No. 326 on their list of the “Greatest Songs of All Time.” They called the track a “kiss-off to drugged-out hedonism,” with “enormous kaboom and Pop’s sneering, free-associative lyrics.”

Paula Deen is looking more svelte than ever!

The former Food Network star, 79, who rose to superstardom cooking up hefty Southern meals on the popular cooking channel, has flown under the radar in the last year or two. But in a rare appearance alongside Bewitched child star Erin Murphy, the culinary queen showed off a slimmed-down appearance in a new photo. The photo revealed a significantly more svelte Deen, who was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes several years ago.

“A little magic in the kitchen with Paula Deen! 🥧 #southerncooking#pauladeen,” Murphy captioned the photo, which showed Deen sporting a bright smile on her face.

Closing Her Restaurants

Last summer, Deen abruptly closed two of her restaurants.

“Hey, y’all, my sons and I made the heartfelt decision that Thursday, July 31st, was the last day of service for The Lady & Sons and The Chicken Box,” Deen wrote in a statement on her Facebook and website. “Thank you for all the great memories and for your loyalty over the past 36 years.”

While it didn’t give a reason for the closures, several of Deen’s other restaurants remain open.

Her Tell-All Documentary

Deen faced a massive fallout after she was dropped by the Food Network in June 2013. In 2012, an employee at her brother’s restaurant had sued for racial discrimination and sexual harassment, alleging that Deen and her brother Bubba had discriminated against Black employees and made racist comments, The Hollywood Reporter wrote. However, the case was dismissed due to the fact that the judge said the plaintiff, who was white, had no standing. However, the following year, Deen admitted to using a racial slur in the workplace in a sworn deposition, the New York Times reported. That led to her firing from the Food Network, as well as several stores that sold Deen’s products canceling their partnerships with the star, who was once known as the “Queen of Southern Cuisine.”

This past fall, Deen debuted her new documentary, Canceled: The Paula Deen Story, at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film, which features Deen’s sons and business partners Jamie and Bobby, “seeks to explain her views and why she feels she got a raw deal as she alleged that the plaintiff’s claims of racist behavior were invented,” The Hollywood Reporter wrote.

“I would have been fine had the whole story been told — had the real story been told,” Deen told The Reporter. “They took this woman [the plaintiff], who is a known liar, they took her word and ran with it, and no one ever investigated any further. I was not going to be happy until the world saw the truth.”

Today correspondent Emilie Ikeda announced her pregnancy live during the third hour of the NBC morning show, leaving Craig Melvin and Dylan Dreyer shocked by the exciting news.

A clip shared by Today‘s official Instagram account shows the co-host’s stunned reactions to the pregnancy revelation. “Oh, my God!” Melvin exclaimed, as Dreyer interjected in disbelief, “What?! Wait…” Craig then proclaimed, “You’re having a baby!”

In between laughing, Ikeda explained, “For those at home, they legitimately don’t know. I’m surprising them right now.”

Dreyer asked, “What, are you serious?” to which Ikeda confirmed, “Yeah, I’m five months pregnant. I’m due in January.”

“Congratulations!” Dreyer said as the news finally sank in, and she hugged Ikeda. Melvin followed suit, telling the mom-to-be, “Come on! Oh, this is so exciting.”

To end the clip, Melvin quipped, “Our control room just pointed out that Emilie Ikeda is about to have an I-kiddo. [Al] Roker‘s not here, so…”

Ikeda laughed and asked, “Where’s Al? Did Al call in from Italy to say this?”

During an interview for Today.com, the expecting mom shared, “My first trimester was really difficult. I was incredibly nauseous, which can get complicated in a spontaneous job that has me chasing breaking news regularly.”

Ikeda also said that she and her husband are opting not to learn the sex of her baby before he/she is born.

“I think in a world filled with instant information, there are few genuine surprises, and this feels like the ultimate surprise,” she pointed out. “I can only imagine the euphoria in the delivery room when someone reveals, ‘It’s a … BOY/GIRL!’”

In 1981, Joey Tempest was 17 years old. He borrowed a keyboard from his friend and future Europe bandmate, Mic Michaeli. He played a riff. His bandmates thought it was too wild to use. Guitarist John Norum said it outright: “No, this is nuts. We just can’t use this.” Tempest disagreed. He fought to keep it. He was right. In 1986, Europe recorded “The Final Countdown.” The song hit No. 1 in 25 countries. The teenager whose bandmates thought his riff was unusable fought for it anyway and accidentally wrote one of the most recognizable songs in rock history.

Tempest was born in Sweden in 1963. The band called itself Europe because they were thinking bigger than just Sweden. They weren’t wrong. Tempest had been playing since he was a child, but it was a borrowed Korg Polysix synthesizer belonging to Mic Michaeli that changed everything. Tempest sat down, messed around, and found something. His bandmates weren’t convinced. “Some of the guys in the band thought it was too different for a rock band,” Tempest recalled. Norum’s reaction was the most direct: “No, this is nuts. We just can’t use this.” The riff sat from 1981 to 1986. Five years. Unused. Until bassist John Levén heard it and insisted that Tempest build a song around it. One bandmate said no. Another said yes. The one who said yes changed everything.

When Europe finally got into the studio, the original Korg Polysix couldn’t recreate the same sound Tempest had stumbled into. Keyboardist Mic Michaeli solved the problem by layering two synthesizers together — a Yamaha TX-816 and a Roland JX-8P. “I made a brassy sound from the JX-8P and used a factory sound from the Yamaha and just layered them together,” Michaeli said. The lyrics came from a different direction.

Tempest had been listening to David Bowie’s Space Oddity, and the imagery of space travel worked its way into the words. “Heading for Venus.” The title refers to the final seconds before a space launch — the moment of no return when whatever happens next is already decided. Tempest didn’t know it at the time, but that’s also a reasonable description of what happened when he played that riff in 1981. The countdown had already started. He just didn’t hear it yet.

The song was designed as a concert opener, not a hit single. Europe didn’t release it expecting to conquer anything. It hit No. 1 in 25 countries. Boxing matches. Space shuttle launches. Olympic ceremonies. Champions League nights. The riff Norum called too nuts to use became the universal signal that something momentous was about to happen. Marching bands covered it. Orchestras covered it. Comedians used it as a punchline. It’s frequently the first thing you hear when something important is about to begin.

The Song That Survived Everything

Then, grunge arrived. Flannel replaced hairspray. Seattle replaced the Sunset Strip. Tempest recalled that Kurt Cobain allegedly wrote “who the f*** is Joey Tempest?” on a wall in L.A. The song that had hit No. 1 in 25 countries was suddenly unfashionable. Every glam rock band found itself on the wrong side of history overnight.

But “The Final Countdown” didn’t leave. The riff was too embedded in too many people’s memories to be made irrelevant by a change in fashion. It kept playing at sporting events. It kept opening arena shows. Forty years after a teenager’s bandmates called it unusable, it’s often the first thing you hear when something important is about to begin.

Joey Tempest borrowed a keyboard. He played a riff. His bandmates said, “We just can’t use this.” He fought for it anyway. It hit No. 1 in 25 countries. Kurt Cobain allegedly asked who he was. It’s still playing.

Argentina star Lionel Messi has announced that he is retiring from the country’s national team following their second place finish in the 2026 World Cup.

“After the time that has passed since the final, and after giving it a lot of thought, I want to let everyone know that I am retiring from the National Team,” Messi said in a statement on Instagram. “It was a decision that hurt – and still hurts deep down – but I understand that the time has come. I swear to you that I always gave it my all – not just in these last few years when we won everything, but before that too; I always fought and left everything on the field for this jersey, to bring you joy and make you feel proud to be Argentine through football.”

Throughout his time on the national team, Messi won one World Cup trophy in 2022 and two runner-up medals in 2014 and 2026, as well as winning the Golden Ball as the top player in 2014 and 2022. He also won two Copa América titles in 2021 and 2024 and three runner-up medals in 2007, 2015, and 2016, as well as the Golden Ball in 2015 and 2021.

“Time is running short, chapters come to a close, and this is one that hurts me deeply. I love, have loved, and will always love being part of the national team. This announcement comes after Messi suffered the devastating loss of his father, Jorge Messi, who died on Aug. 8 at a hospital in the central Argentine city of Rosario at the age of 68. He revealed in his note that he wrote the message two days after the final, and that the passing of his father solidified the decision.

Apple TV+ subscribers, be forewarned: it’ll now cost you a little bit more to be a member.

Apple announced on Friday, August 28, that it will be increasing the price of its streaming service membership across the board. The monthly price has been upped from $12.99 to $14.99 while the annual price is shifting from $99 to $119 per year.

Additionally, for those paying separately for Apple One, the price for that went up to $21.95. It was originally $19.95.

The price changes are effective immediately.

Apple TV+ subscribers last navigated a price increase in August 2025. At the time, the monthly membership experienced a $3 hike from $9.99 to $12.99. However, the cost of subscribing to the annual plan and Apple One had remained unchanged.

Apple TV+ originally launched in 2019 to the low price of $4.99 as it debuted with limited content offerings. Its library has greatly expanded since then, featuring major films like F1 to acclaimed series like Severance and The Studio. The August 2026 announcement marks the service’s fourth total price hike.

Now, its increased price tag puts Apple TV+ on par with many of its competitors. Both Disney+ and Hulu cost $11.99 per month with ads or $18.99 per month sans ads. Meanwhile, HBO Max is currently priced at $10.99 per month with ads and $18.49 per month without.

Netflix also raised its membership price in March for the second time in less than two years, going from $7.99 per month to $8.99 per month for the Standard ads-included tier. However, the Standard ad-free tier increased from $17.99 to $19.99 as Premium subscriptions were upped from $24.99 to $26.99.

Apple TV+ isn’t Apple’s only offering facing major price changes. In June, the tech conglomerate announced an increase in cost for 14 of its products, including the MacBook Pro and the Apple TV device. (The shift came one month before the price of Apple Music was raised by $1 to $3 per month.)

At the time, Apple CEO Tim Cook told The Wall Street Journal that “unfortunately, price increases are unavoidable.”

“We’re doing our best to mitigate the huge increases that are being passed to us, and we’ve been trying to shield our customers from the increases,” he continued, adding, “but the situation has become unsustainable.”

There’s a big reason for celebration in the McGraw-Hill family.

Neither McGraw nor Hill have commented on their daughter’s engagement. Maggie, who works as an intelligence analyst for Major League Baseball, according to her LinkedIn, has not publicly commented on her engagement to James Rubin.

Starbucks’ menu is always changing, and this fall, it’s gaining more than just some seasonal beverages and new merch.

Not even one week after the first round of autumn-inspired flavors arrived at Starbucks, the international coffee giant is announcing the arrival of a completely new type of coffee drink: the Aerocano.

To sweeten up the reveal, Starbies is also gearing up to introduce three new Mini Pies in classic fall flavors.

Starbucks Brings the Aerocano to U.S. Menus This Fall

Starbucks first debuted the Aerocano in Korea in February 2026. At the time, the company said its “new Iced Icon” started as a creative way to respond to fans of Starbucks’ Iced Americano, which the company reported “accounts for more than 70 percent of all Starbucks Americano orders.” Starbucks said it chose Korea to test the item, as even in the winter months, its stores are churning out lots of Iced Americanos.

Fans in Korea were ultimately impressed, saying it left them “delightfully surprised,” and Starbucks then decided to roll it out in parts of Latin America this past May. Now, months later, it’s heading to the U.S.

So what is the Aerocano? Great question.

According to an official description, the Aerocano features Starbucks Blonde Espresso that’s “air-whipped to create a light foam and cascading visual effect.” Although it’s a variation of an Iced Americano using the same espresso blend, it couldn’t be more different. Instead of mixing two shots of espresso with water and ice, the Aerocano puts the espresso shots into a steam pitcher filled with ice, as reported in February. The drink is then “aerated” with the steam pitcher before being served in a cup filled with ice.

It’s supposedly creamier and more bodied than the original Iced Americano, with the company calling it a “modern take” on the classic iced beverage.

As for those new sweet treats, Starbucks will add three new Mini Pie flavors to its bakery to double down on the comforting vibes of fall. Joining its adorable Hedgehog Cake Pop and seasonal faves like the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Double-Smoked Bacon Cheddar & Egg sandwich are:

Dolly Parton’s fans will get another chance to celebrate the queen of country. After the legend’s tragic passing on August 25 at the age of 80, her estate shared that DollyFest, a two-day festival, will be held in both Nashville and London in 2027. 

The event was previously planned for 2026 and was set to include Parton as the host and performer. It will now commemorate her extraordinary career and give fans across the globe a chance to honor the icon.

Founder/CEO of CTK Enterprises Danny Nozell said in a press release, “What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life.” Nozell continued, “Many people behind the scenes know that DollyFest is a dream of Dolly’s that was intended to take place on her 80th birthday in Nashville.”

Plans for the 2026 event were already in the works: “We had the venue booked and we had the announcement ready to go. And then, in August 2025, Dolly had to take a step back after her initial health challenges. A lot of people always say, WWDD (What Would Dolly Do?), and, well, at this moment, DollyFest is WDWD (What Dolly Would Do!).”

If you’re wondering why this two-continent celebration won’t happen until next year, as it turns out, there’s a very good reason for the delay. 

Nozell explained, “We are not discouraging people from celebrating Dolly in the ways they choose. However, as far as a traditional memorial goes, that is not something Dolly wanted. So, instead, it feels more appropriate for us to take a beat, let all the tributes that immediately make sense occur naturally, and then, see through this festival-style concept that was truly dreamed up by Dolly.”

Even though fans might not want to wait until 2027 to honor the late legend, Nozell adds, “This is something that is authentic to her, something that feels right to me, and something that artists and fans around the world can participate in, while also giving everyone time to grieve and giving everyone time to plan.” 

As of now, there is no date for DollyFest. Fans can visit Dolly Parton’s website here for updates.

One clip showed Tiffany holding Alexander, who turned one in May, on a boat as he wore a life jacket. Another snapshot showed mother and son on the same boat, with other shots featuring Tiffany’s mom, Marla, 62, husband, Michael Boulos, 29, and the gorgeous scenery during their trip.
