United Passenger Claims She Was Harassed Her Entire Fight and the Airline 'Refused' to Do Anything About It
While many stories about passengers behaving badly while flying can be funny—like the couple who got married mid-flight, forcing all the other passengers to serve as impromptu wedding guests—sometimes things can get scary in the air.
That's what woman says happened during her recent United Airlines flight, when she claims she was allegedly harassed by the man sitting next to her. Unfortunately, she says that the flight crew did nothing to intervene, and she wasn't able to get any help until getting the cops involved once the plane landed. Now, her story is going viral as she says she's looking for a response (and some compensation) from United. Here's what you need to know.
@brookelynrosemusic(TW: harassment on a flight) I want to be fairly compensated for what I went through with United Airlines and have some justice. Internet, do your thing and help me please 🫂 #fyp #story #plane #justice #share
♬ original sound - BrookelynRoseMusic Woman Says Seatmate Physically Assaulted Her During United FlightTikToker @brooklynrosemusic has decided to share the story of her recent experience during a flight from Colorado to Los Angeles. In the now viral video, the young woman says that she was seated next to a visibly intoxicated man, who instantly made her uncomfortable. According to her, she initially tried to ignore the man, but after repeated attempts to engage her, she was forced to interact with him.
“He starts asking what book I’m reading,” she recalled. “Then he starts hitting on me.” After the woman tried to tell him she was married to get him to stop, he reportedly said that he was too, and leaned into her seat to show off photos of his family. “I was like, you know what, this is my area,” she continued. “Why don’t you keep to your space?”

From there, the situation continued to escalate with several more unwanted advances before he threw a bag of pretzels at her during the food and drink service. Unfortunately, the OP says that she tried time and time again to get the attention of the flight crew, but due to her short stature and being hidden in the widow seat of the row, she couldn't get to them without bringing too much attention to herself. The OP said that left her with no other options than to try and silently alert the attendants when they walked by, but to no avail.
However, she says things got really bad when the man misheard the pilot's announcement about the plane's final decent, which he took to mean the flight was going down. The man started grabbing her and shaking her while getting upset about the pending crash. “I said, ‘Get your [expletive] hands off me!’” she says she finally shouted.
People Can't Believe the Man Behaved This WayUltimately, the OP explained how her fellow passengers were the ones to get involved and to complain to the flight crew, which eventually prompted the authorities to get involved.
"I’m so sorry this happened to you. If I was around you I would’ve done everything I could to help," one person wrote. "I don’t understand people. I hope this gets more attention."
Getting more attention seems to be exactly why the OP shared her story, since she said she's had a hard time getting a satisfactory response out of the airline.
“They didn’t even give me a flight credit,” she alleges. “They said that’s not in our policy. And now I have to come on here because this is the only way that things get done anymore.”
Other people felt differently about the situation, with many people opting to blame the OP. "I’m so sorry for what happened to you," another person said. "In this situation you have to speak up and tell the flight attendant that you are uncomfortable with this drunk guy sitting next to you and asked to be moved elsewhere."

What Should You Do With an Inappropriate SeatmateThe last commenter brought up an interesting point about what you should do in this type of situation. And, while the OP clearly says in her story that she felt intimidated and scared to say anything out of fear she would end up trapped with her seatmate after complaining, there are some steps you can take to protect yourself.
For example, you could notify the flight crew verbally, if you feel comfortable enough to speak up. Another option would be to excuse yourself to go to the bathroom, which would allow you to approach an attendant while out of earshot of your seatmate. However, I don't exactly think that the OP was in the wrong. When you find yourself in a situation like this, and you're unsure what to do, sometimes staying quiet can be the best option, especially with someone who appears to have been drinking.
However, I have a hunch that she will speak up if this ever happens again.
Aldi’s $7 Scallop-Trimmed Kitchen Accessory Looks Like Something From a Fairytale Cottage
When the world outside starts feeling a little too chaotic (when doesn't it?), I tend to turn my attention inward. More specifically, to my home. It's really comforting to make your personal space feel calm and cozy. For me, that often means leaning into cottagecore decor. Give me soft colors, vintage-inspired pieces or anything that feels like it belongs in a storybook kitchen, and I'm instantly happier.
It doesn't have to be a full-on farmhouse transformation, either. Sometimes the charm comes from the smallest touches, like a sweet little basket on the counter, a pretty jar or a piece that feels like it has a bit of old-world personality. Those tiny details can make everyday routines, like making toast or pouring a cup of tea, feel just a little more special.
Crofton Ceramic Butter Dish, $6.99 at AldiAldi
Lately, Aldi has been delivering when it comes to those kinds of pieces. My grocery run has turned into a shopping spree for quaint kitchenware that fits right into that cozy, cottagey vibe. Like this scallop-trimmed ceramic butter dish that looks like it came straight out of a charming countryside kitchen.

A butter dish is decidedly different from a butter bell, a product Aldi is also carrying right now. While a butter bell is specifically designed to keep butter on the counter for an extended period of time, a butter dish is intended to keep butter at room temp for just a short period (not days on end). The lid helps keep the butter from absorbing other smells in the kitchen while it's out of the fridge.
If I'm being real with you, I'm a sucker for anything with a scallop-edging. It just adds a little bit of personality to items that you wouldn't otherwise give a second glance, and I love that.
Aside from the butter accessories, Aldi has tons of kitchenware in stock this week that will add a little character to your cooking. There's a really chic lazy Susan that's perfect for organizing countertops or for serving food, and these whimsical drying mats that look more like decor than a place to air-dry dishes.
So even if you were just planning to run in for dinner essentials, like Aldi's delish pork tamales or macaroni cheese pizza, skim over the Aldi Finds aisle. You'll find something to add to your cart. Trust me.
‘90 Day: The Single Life’ Star Cortney Reardanz Slams Colt After He Calls Her ‘Boring’: ‘What Am I Supposed to Do?’ (Exclusive)
If you thought things were already messy on this season of 90 Day: The Single Life, buckle up.
During a candid chat with Parade, Cortney Reardanz responded to Colt Johnson’s confessional dig that dating her was like the wholesome-but-“kind of boring” vibe of watching Little House on the Prairie.
“Usually I'm going out every night with my friends. I'm traveling the world,” she clapped back. “You're holding my life back, then you're telling me I'm boring while you are here with a broken leg? You can't do anything.”
She continued more bluntly: “Like, you can't have sex without an erection.”
Cortney admits discussing such intimate details on camera wasn’t exactly comfortable… especially while living with Colt at home with her parents.
“I'm like, ‘Oh my God!’ I don't want my parents to see this,” Cortney said.
But if she’s going to be labeled “boring,” she’s going to defend herself. “What am I supposed to do with the broken equipment? It's like giving me a deflated basketball, then you're complaining I suck at shooting basketballs.”
I mean… point taken.

As for whether things improve in the bedroom as the season goes on? Cortney teased, “Stay tuned.”
She did reveal, “We discovered ways around the issue a little bit, but there was a lot we had to work through.” Yes, that includes the rather scandalous bow tie moment.
While Colt’s been known to be a bit polarizing in past seasons of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Cortney says that’s not what she experienced herself.
“I saw clips of Colt on social media where he's yelling as mom, yelling at his ex, women are throwing shoes at him,” she said. “I've seen the craziness, but I didn't experience that in person.”
Instead she found him to be polite, sweet and “such a gentleman.”
“I think different people bring out different sides of you,” she explained.
Still, she admits she was blindsided when it came to another woman: Diana.
Cortney says she knew Colt had been talking to other women before coming to stay with her at her parents’ house, but believed he had cut them off.
“He's like, ‘Yeah, they mean nothing to me,’” she said. “And he told me he blocked all of them, which I think was true because I saw them on social media crying, ‘Oh my God, he blocked me.’”
At the time, she felt reassured. “Like, good. He blocked them. He's doing the right thing and committing to me.”
But she later realized he was still communicating with a Brazilian woman named Diana behind her back.

Looking back, there were signs.
“Vanessa [Guerra, Colt’s ex-wife] and this other girl were online crying and screaming and doing all this craziness. I'm like, ‘Diana's being very quiet,’” she said. “And he's like, ‘Oh!’ Like he was squirming or uncomfortable.”
When asked which Single Life cast member has the worst picker when it comes to partners, Cortney didn’t hesitate:.
“Yeah, it's me immediately.”
Even her co-star Sophie Sierra chimed in with a playful jab saying, “At least mine are attractive.”
Cortney laughed but admitted, “That's true.”

1987 Rock Classic Released 39 Years Ago Today Is Still Considered One of the Greatest Albums Ever Made
Thirty-nine years ago today, four guys from Dublin released an album that went platinum in the United Kingdom in 48 hours, and the music world hasn't been the same since.
U2 dropped The Joshua Tree on March 9, 1987, and it immediately became something no one could explain and everyone wanted a piece of. The album hit No. 1 in more than 20 countries, became Britain's fastest-selling record at the time and produced Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.'s only two No. 1 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100: "With or Without You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." Not bad for a fifth album.
Produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, the record earned U2 the Grammy for Album of the Year at the 1988 ceremony, and it wasn't close. Critics were unanimous, fans were obsessed and Time magazine put the band on its cover under the headline "Rock's Hottest Ticket." There's a particular irony in all of it: four Irish musicians so fascinated by America they named their masterpiece after a desert tree in the Mojave, and in doing so made something more American-sounding than most American artists ever had.
The Songs That Make It UntouchableThe Joshua Tree is one of those rare albums with no throwaway tracks.
"Where the Streets Have No Name" remains one of the most recognizable opening guitar lines in rock history. "With or Without You" is still soundtracking breakups and long drives four decades later. "Running to Stand Still" and "One Tree Hill" hit in ways that are genuinely hard to categorize — not quite rock, not quite folk, not quite anything that existed before Lanois and Eno built it.

The Legacy Is Official — LiterallyIn 2013, The Joshua Tree was added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry, reserved for recordings deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant." It has sold over 25 million copies worldwide, earned a diamond certification in the US and appears on virtually every serious list of the greatest albums ever made.
Thirty-nine isn't a milestone number; 40 will get the big retrospective treatment next year. But if you haven't listened to The Joshua Tree front-to-back recently, today feels like exactly the right excuse.

Author of Oprah’s Book Club Pick Accused in Lawsuit of Using Classmate’s Assault Story as Her Own
Amy Griffin, author of Oprah's Book Club pick The Tell, is being accused of using a former classmate's sexual assault story as her own in a shocking new lawsuit.
In The Tell, Griffin's memoir published in March 2025, the billionaire and author claims to have recovered repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse while participating in illegal psychedelic-drug therapy.
Along with being selected as Oprah's 112th book club pick, The Tell became a New York Times bestseller and was promoted by celebrities like Jenna Bush Hager, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mariska Hargitay, and Reese Witherspoon.
However, in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, Mar. 4, a former classmate of Griffin's—who is identified as Jane Doe in court documents—alleges that she had her "identity, likeness and private information unlawfully used" in the memoir.
The woman says she attended the same Amarillo, Texas, middle school as Griffin and that she is "Claudia" in the book—a pseudonym. She is accusing Griffin of invasion of privacy, negligence and infliction of emotional distress, among other claims.
The woman is also suing Sam Lansky, a ghostwriter who worked on The Tell, and Penguin Random House and The Dial Press, which published the book.

In the book, Griffin wrote that while under the influence of MDMA, she recovered memories from more than 30 years prior of being sexually assaulted in middle school and high school by one of her teachers, referred to in the memoir as the pseudonym "Mr. Mason."
However, in the lawsuit, the author's former classmate cited two incidents from the book and claim those instances happened to her—not Griffin.
Additionally, according to The New York Times, "Mr. Mason" was described in enough detail that he was identifiable to many in Amarillo, Texas, where she grew up.
The classmate told The Times that the teacher who assaulted her was not the teacher Griffin accuses in her book, and the lawsuit makes the same distinction.
In a statement to The Times, Thomas A. Clare, a lawyer for Griffin, said he looks forward to "exposing these meritless claims in court" and called the publication's previous reporting on Griffin and The Tell "deeply flawed."
The lawyer representing Jane Doe also issued their own statement to People, saying, "Our client has experienced significant harm from the disclosure of deeply private information without consent. We are confident we have strong legal grounds for relief under well-established privacy law. We are committed to pursuing all available legal remedies and look forward to presenting our case in court."
If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, help is available 24 hours a day through RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.

Grogu Won't Speak In New 'Star Wars' Movie, Former Lucasfilm President Confirms
Former Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedyshut down a popular fan theory about The Mandalorian and Grogu, confirming that the Child, also known as Grogu and even "Baby Yoda" (although he is not, in fact, Yoda), will not speak in the upcoming movie.
Per Variety, Kennedy said Grogu is "another perfect example of a character that has to emote and you have to feel connected to, and he never speaks a word," refuting the idea that he would have learned at least a few words by this time.
Fans had specifically been eager to find out whether Grogu was going to speak like Yoda, an iconic Jedi who first appeared in the original Star Warstrilogy and has a very unusual speech pattern. His manner of talking is often referred to as being 'backwards,' although that's not quite accurate. Yoda's syntax is truly original.
The speculation about whether Grogu might speak as Yoda did stems from the fact that they share a species—one that Star Wars has yet to name. In fact, only three canon characters have been part of that species: Yoda, Grogu and a character called Yaddle from the prequel trilogy era.
For now, however, it seems Grogu's speech pattern will remain a mystery, and the Child will stick to the usual coos and grunts that audiences have grown accustomed to throughout the three seasons of The Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released in theaters on May 22, 2026, and it is a monumental moment for Star Wars. Not only will this be the franchise's first movie in nearly seven years, with The Rise of Skywalker having been released in December of 2019, but also, this is the very first time a Star Wars show has made the jump to the big screen.
For both reasons, Disney/Lucasfilm have a lot riding on this upcoming movie, and only time will tell if it will stick the landing.

'Southern Charm’s Whitner Slagsvol Recalls ‘Surfing in a Hurricane’ With Uncle Jimmy Buffett
For most families, a hurricane means staying inside, but for Southern Charm star Whitner Slagsvol and his uncle Jimmy Buffett, it apparently meant grabbing a board and heading straight for the waves.
Whit tells Parade that any time Buffett was in Charleston, they'd always go to dinner with the family and surf whenever possible.
"One time, it was during an evacuation order because there was a hurricane that might hit, and it didn't end up hitting," he recalls of Buffett's Sept. 2018 visit as Hurricane Florence loomed with a possible South Carolina strike. "It's always great because we end up having this like sunny, great, fall weekend with no tourists and no people and great surf."
He continues, "So Jimmy and I went surfing, and he has a line from one of his songs where he's like—I'm paraphrasing—like, 'I feel so bad, I feel like surfing in a hurricane,' and everyone caught on to the fact that we were surfing in a hurricane. I woke up the next day, and the picture of me and him with our boards on the beach had gone to every publication across the world, and [the headline] was 'Jimmy Buffett surfing in a hurricane'...and then this schlep."
Buffett posted the moment on his Instagram alongside Whit and the caption, "'I ain't afraid of dying; I got no need to explain; I feel like going surfing in a hurricane,' #follybeachsurfing
On a serious note - respect mother nature, please be safe and listen to your local authorities."
Whit has many fond memories surfing alongside Buffett and "it was always great just getting in the water with him," he says, adding, "I was just down in Costa Rica with my dad, the 72-year-old dude is still dropping in on like shoulder, chest high waves on a paddle board nowadays. So it was always great, either Jimmy or my dad just kind of getting in the water with these sort of figures of your life."
Alongside Shep Rose, Whit had an opportunity to surf during their trip to Mexico on Southern Charm, a day Whit really enjoyed. "In Mexico, Shep and I had an entire day of some really great surf," he recalls. "It was like a half-mile paddle out. We didn't get any good footage of us on the waves that we did catch, and we had caught some really great rides that day."
Southern Charm is on Wednesday nights on Bravo.
This Iconic Toy Turns 67 Today
While she's remained ageless, Barbie is officially 67 years old today.
The beloved doll was unveiled on March 9, 1959, per KCTV5. According to the publication, Barbie had her first public appearance during New York's 1959 American Toy Fair.
Barbie's creator, Ruth Handler, who died in 2002 at the age of 85, opened up about the beloved doll in a 1994 interview on Eye to Eye, hosted by Connie Chung. Handler, who co-founded Mattel, shared that she was aware of how important Barbie was to the doll's devoted fans. According to Handler, fans often thanked her for improving their lives by creating Barbie.
"They really are carried away by how important Barbie is to them. Barbie is the most important thing in their life," said Handler during the 1994 interview.
Handler also shared that Barbie's namesake was her daughter, Barbara Handler. She said that her daughter didn't appreciate the doll, stating, "She got quite embarrassed by the whole thing." Handler also said she believed her daughter "resented it very much through the years" because she was busy with her career at Mattel.
"All her friends parents were available. And she used to ask me why I had to be different than everybody else. And that really hurt," said Handler during the interview.
In the 1994 interview, Handler also addressed criticism involving Barbie's body. She said she wanted to make a doll who looked like a "grownup" because "a little girl could dream dreams of growing up" while playing with a Barbie.
In addition, she stated that Barbie's many clothing pieces and accessories had nothing to do with vanity. Rather, she wanted children to have different options when coming up with imaginary scenarios with the doll in hand.
"Her clothing would permit the child to pretend they were in a certain kind of activity the image you were projecting," said Handler to Chung.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Reprise His Star-Making Role Over 40 Years Later
Before there was The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger donned an entire different sort of menacing getup — sword and all.
And the curtain has not closed for Conan the Barbarian, as it turns out. The former California governor, 78, and celebrated filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie are now set to relaunch the 40-year-old movie franchise.
Mission: Impossible fans might recognize McQuarrie, 57, as director of the four most recent films from that franchise. Looking ahead, he's now attached to write and direct King Conan for 20th Century Studios, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Schwarzenegger would reprise his eponymous role that became an early signature part after he starred in the 1982 original film and its 1984 sequel, based on the character created by author Robert E. Howard.
Schwarzenegger announced McQuarrie’s involvement in the project over the weekend at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, per THR.
"It’s a great story where Conan was 40 years king [as] king and he gets complacent, and now he gets forced out of the kingdom, slowly," Schwarzenegger said, in teasing King Conan. "Then there’s conflict, of course, and then he somehow comes back, and then there’s all kinds of madness and violence and magic and creatures. Now, of course, you have all the special effects, and the studio system has plenty of money to make those movies really big. So I’m looking forward to all of those projects."
The longtime actor also said he's been talking to Dan Trachtenberg about returning to the Predator franchise that the red-hot filmmaker revived with Prey (2022) and the recent follow-up Predator: Badlands, THR noted on Monday, March 9.
At the top of this year, Parade reported on Schwarzenegger's net worth as of 2026, which is estimated to be $850. His money comes largely from super-savvy contract negotiations for his movies, as well as from his business ventures and real-estate investments.
Can Nolan and Bailey’s Marriage Survive on ‘The Rookie’? Jenna Dewan Weighs In (Exclusive)
When the idea of Bailey (Jenna Dewan) moving to Washington, D.C. to take a dream job came up on The Rookie, the idea crossed my mind that the character was being written out of the show, but it turns out that it was just a maneuver to introduce a new storyline for her character that would put her in danger.
“[Showrunner] Alexi [Hawley] is the greatest human alive, so he definitely gave me a heads up [that I wasn’t being written out],” Dewan tells Parade in this exclusive interview. He said, ‘Don’t be worried when you read the script. There is a storyline we’re playing around with, with a job that’s going to be at the Pentagon in D.C., but you’re not going anywhere.’ He gave me that info ahead of time, and I was like, ‘Great, because I absolutely love this show. This is my favorite job in the entire world.’ I love the people, I love everything about it. So, I, in no way, would like to go anywhere.”
So, while Jenna is definitely staying put, Bailey has moved on to a new career in Washington, D.C., and it has caused trouble in her marriage. So much so that at one point her loving husband John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) said, “I’m trying to save our marriage.” And that kind of surprised Bailey because she didn’t realize it was in jeopardy.
“We had the fight that kind of came out of nowhere,” Dewan says. “I think that it’s real. I believe you get in a relationship, and especially a loving relationship, but you are hopefully two people that are walking the same path. But at times, there are going to be moments where you are your own individual, and there are going to be different opportunities and jobs that come along that are not going to be in town, and then you find yourself at those crossroads. Well, what do I do? Do we want to all stay together, or do we want to go? Some people don’t have the luxury to decide that.”
Nathan Fillion as John Nolan and Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune in 'The Rookie'Disney/Mike Taing
At this point in time, Nolan and Bailey are pretty much still newlyweds, so there is definitely an adjustment period still taking place, and sometimes it’s because it is hard to come together as a couple when you’ve been on your own with no one else to consider.
“Bailey is bumping up against her old self and the want to be ambitious and go after everything and say yes to every opportunity and adventure, and this natural wiring of hers, but I also think maturity is trying to show her a new way,” Dewan continues. “She does have her own ambitions in life and career that she wants to explore, and honestly, to go work on a task force at the Pentagon -- that is something she’s never even thought of doing and is big enough that, I think, that would be something that would maybe eat at her that she didn’t at least explore that.
"John is really amazing. He noticed that and said, ‘Well, I want you to go for it, and we are okay. We’ll be okay. We can handle anything. We’ve handled so much before. We can continue to handle whatever comes at us,’ and I thought that was a really real interesting and complicated curveball for us.”
Related: Big Shakeup Coming on The Rookie: Sneak Peek of Change in Mid-Wilshire (Exclusive)
It was especially so for Bailey, who came out of a bad marriage, and we’ve seen that her abusive ex, Jason Wyler (Steve Kazee), was a sociopath, so it wouldn’t be surprising that she isn’t used to Nolan’s understanding.
“I think that there’s trauma, right?” Dewan says. “We all carry our own baggage into whatever our next relationship. And I think that her baggage with her crazy husband is that it’s hard to trust. It’s hard to let yourself go and to be vulnerable. But every single day, John continues to rewrite that wiring for her. She sees he is stable. He does love me. He is here through thick and thin with me. So initially, I think there’s some doubt with that, with can we get through this, and does he really want this for me? And in time, she realizes again, okay, we are a solid force.”

So, Bailey has moved to D.C. and taken her job at the Pentagon, when she gets a call from Lt. Grey (Richard T. Jones), who asks her to conduct a covert investigation at the Pentagon, and she jumps at the chance without considering the consequences.
“I think she was at a perfect place of very bored with the current job and not realizing that 90 percent of the job was going to be in a cubicle doing paperwork,” Dewan shares. “So, I think for Bailey, it felt exciting and a little bit of an adventure, and she said ‘Oh, okay, I’ll go do that. What else am I doing? I’ll go do that.’ Definitely not thinking she was going to get herself involved in any sort of sinister plan. I think she really thought she was just doing a favor and kind of at a perfect moment that it was like half fun and half perfect timing.”

“All of a sudden, it’s like a Clue game come to life. Her adrenaline is going, and Bailey loves adrenaline, and I think there’s a bit of wanting to figure it out, be useful to Grey and to everyone back at home, and she can’t resist it.”

Live Nation Reaches Historic DOJ Settlement to Overhaul Ticket Fees and Venue Exclusivity
If you've ever watched a $40 concert ticket silently become $80 at checkout, Ticketmaster has some news for you.
Live Nation Entertainment, Ticketmaster's parent company, reached a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice in its long-running antitrust case, agreeing to cap service fees at its amphitheaters at 15% of the ticket price. That's a significant climbdown from the 27% to 31% fees fans have historically absorbed without much choice in the matter.
The settlement lands after years of sustained public pressure, much of it ignited in late 2022, when a catastrophic Ticketmaster presale for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour crashed the platform, froze out millions of fans and triggered congressional hearings. That moment turned a niche antitrust argument into a full-blown pop culture reckoning, and today's agreement is largely what that reckoning produced.
What This Actually Means for FansThe fee cap is the headline, but it's not the whole story.
Under the settlement, Ticketmaster must open its platform to rival ticket sellers, meaning companies like SeatGeek and StubHub will be able to offer primary tickets through the system for the first time.
Live Nation also surrenders exclusive booking agreements at 13 amphitheaters nationwide, and promoters will be allowed to distribute up to 50% of tickets at those venues. Real competition, in other words, something the concert ticketing market has been missing for a long time.
Live Nation will also fund a separate $280 million settlement to resolve state-level damages claims, and agreed to eight years of extended DOJ oversight.
What Didn't HappenLive Nation avoided the outcome the DOJ originally sought: a full forced breakup of Live Nation and Ticketmaster into separate companies. It also admitted no wrongdoing. For critics who wanted a harder outcome, that stings. But a mandatory fee cap, forced platform competition and nearly $300 million in accountability is a tangible shift from where things stood even a year ago.
For the fan who rage-quit a checkout page watching fees double the price of a show, it's not everything. But it's something.
Costco Just Stocked Designer Crossbody Bags for Less, and Shoppers Are Running
There's something magical about spotting a designer find while doing your regular grocery run. One minute you're grabbing rotisserie chicken and paper towels, and the next you're texting friends because you just found a fashion steal hiding between bulk snacks and home goods. That's exactly the kind of moment shoppers are having right now after a new accessory quietly appeared in Costco warehouses.
Designer crossbody bags from DKNY are now popping up at Costco for just $32.99. Shoppers who spotted them say the quality feels far more expensive than the price tag suggests, and many are grabbing more than one color before they disappear from shelves.
A Designer Bag for Less Than Half the Usual Price @costconewdealsDKNY cross body bags at Costco 😲 the quality is so good too!! Which one is your favorite color?
♬ Originalton - MatwayThe compact DKNY crossbody, shown by @costconewdeals, comes in two versatile shades: white (Marshmallow) and brown (Chocolate). Both options feature subtle branding and practical details that make them easy to use every day.
Each bag includes:
- A front pocket with a zipper closure
- A back slip pocket for quick access to items
- An interior slip pocket
- An interior logo patch
- An adjustable logo strap
- An embossed logo on the front
The design strikes a balance between polished and casual, which makes it easy to pair with everything from athleisure to weekend outfits. Shoppers say they were surprised by the feel of the material and the overall construction, noting that it doesn't feel like a budget purchase at all.
The price is what really has people talking. At many department stores and fashion retailers, similar DKNY crossbody bags often sell for closer to $80. That means Costco shoppers are paying less than half the typical retail price for a recognizable designer label.

Why Crossbody Bags Are Always in StyleBeyond the brand name and price tag, the style itself is part of the appeal. Crossbody bags have become a wardrobe staple because they're both practical and stylish.
One of their biggest advantages is hands-free convenience. Whether you're running errands, traveling, or shopping, a crossbody bag keeps essentials close without tying up your hands.
Security is another plus. Crossbody styles sit close to the torso and are harder to snatch in crowded places, making them a popular choice for commuting and travel.
For shoppers who love finding unexpected fashion deals in the warehouse aisles, this might be one of the most exciting accessory finds of the season. And judging by how quickly word is spreading online, these designer bags may not stay on shelves for long.

1972 Career-Defining Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 54 Years Ago Today
In 1972, Freddie Hart recorded the song that would define his career.
His single, "My Hang-Up Is You," climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles, where it remained for six weeks. The song became the biggest hit of Hart's career and one of the standout country singles of the early 1970s.
Written by Hart himself, the heartfelt ballad tells the story of a man who can't move on after a relationship ends, confessing that despite trying everything else, he’s still emotionally stuck on the one person he can't forget.
The song resonated strongly with country audiences. Its deeply personal lyrics and Hart's soulful delivery helped propel it to the top of the charts, marking a turning point for a singer who had spent years working his way through the industry.
"I love to write songs," Hart said in a 2010 interview. "Songs are very real to me. It's people put to music, that's what a song is to me."
Born in Alabama in 1926, Hart served in the U.S. Marine Corps before pursuing music. He spent much of the 1950s and 1960s writing songs and recording singles before finally achieving major success in the early '70s.
"My Hang-Up Is You" followed closely on the heels of another major hit, "Easy Loving," which had already established Hart as one of country music’s rising stars.
The success of those songs helped launch Hart into one of the most productive stretches of his career, earning him multiple awards and chart successes throughout the decade.
More than five decades after its release, "My Hang-Up Is You" remains the song most closely associated with Freddie Hart, a timeless country classic that captured heartbreak with honesty and helped secure his place in country music history.
Tinker Bell Live-Action Reportedly in the Works—And Fans Say a 'Short n' Sweet' Pop Star Would Be Perfect
After an apparent reveal of an all-new, forthcoming, live-action Disney+ series portraying Peter Pan's tiny fairy bestie Tinker Bell, fan casting predictions are already under way, if only in our minds. In fact, a fan favorite for the short, sweet, and a little bit spicy role is none other than pop star Sabrina Carpenter. Can we manifest this perfect idea into reality?
According to an exclusive over at Deadline, a new Disney live action in the works. This time, Deadline says, Disney+ is developing Tink, a drama series featuring the beloved character Tinker Bell, who novelist and playwright J.M Barrie imagined into being in the early 1900s.
The exclusive says the new show is coming from executive producer Gary Marsh (High School Musical, Hannah Montana) and Friday Night Lights' writers Liz Heldens and Bridget Carpenter (no relation to Sabrina), who are also exec producing with Quinn Haberman from Selfish Mermaid, Heldens’ production company. Sounds like a dream team—now if only they had the perfect Tinker Bell lined up.
Could fan daydreams of a Sabrina Carpenter Tinker Bell be that far off? After all, Carpenter rose to fame as Maya Hart on Disney Channel's Girl Meets World, and her 'Short n' Sweet' officially wrapped at the end of the year. The petite songstress also appeared on Disney+'s The Muppets Show special last month.
In other words, Disney+ already has Carpenter's number. And of course, Carpenter is basically a living, breathing embodiment for a Tink character.
View this post on Instagram"I totally see Sabrina Carpenter as Tinker Bell," says one commenter while several others drop in adorable GIFs of the adorable blonde pop sensation.
Not convinced? Here's Carpenter performing her song "Juno" in Dallas, Texas a couple Halloweens ago, dressed up as none other than Tinker Bell herself.

Yep, all we can see is Sabrina Carpenter now. And just imagine the soundtrack!
Other names being floated for the role of Tinker Bell include actors Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Dove Cameron (Liv and Maddie, Descendants), and British actor and singer Freya Skye.

4 Personality Traits of People Born on the 16th, Per Numerology
Your birth date plays a key role in your divine spiritual journey, personality attributes, and so much more thanks to numerology. Numerology is the divine study of numbers, so each birth date correlates with one to three numerological associations. If you were born on the 16th, you embody the numerological energies of 1, 6, and 7. Being born on the 16th means you’re a strong, family-oriented and relationship-driven leader who seeks emotionally profound connections. You look for a deeper meaning in every aspect of your life, making you a wise and intuitive individual. Read on to discover the numerological significance of 16, challenges to watch for, and four core personality traits that define you.
The Numerological Significance of Number 16Finding the numerological significance of 16 requires breaking 16 down into single-digit numbers. 16 can be reduced to 1 and 6, and these two numbers can be added together to get 7. So, the numerological significance of 16 is aligned with the individual energies of 1, 6, and 7.
1 corresponds with an independent, adventurous energy that isn’t afraid to take the lead and get the ball rolling. 6 exudes a kind, reciprocal energy that’s primarily focused on building a like-minded community and family. 7 represents mysticism, since this number is considered to be intuitive, wise, and complex. Altogether, the individual energies of 1, 6, and 7 come together to create 16, an interdependent number who prioritizes meaningful connections, spiritual balance, and self-reflection. People who embody 16’s energy are deep, introspective, and considerate of others. They love celebrating other’s lives, triumphs, and accomplishments, but also value alone time to recharge their energy.
People who align with 16 also work with 16’s astrological planet, Neptune. Those who embrace Neptune’s energy are dreamers gifted with the ability to see beyond what’s in front of them. However, these individuals may also struggle with confusion, delusion, and illusion. Lapis Lazuli can help by clearing the pathways between the third eye, throat chakra, and heart chakra.
Challenges to Watch ForPeople born on the 16th are beloved for their discernment, intuition, and depth. However, they still face challenges like everyone else. Although they appear to have it all together, they secretly struggle with imposter syndrome. They don’t always believe in their dreams, or trust that they’re going in the right direction. Others may be none the wiser, because these people appear so confident and self-assured in their actions. Despite appearing this way, these individuals still worry if they’re being delusional about their efforts, goals, or connections. If they’re not careful, they may easily lead themselves astray thanks to overthinking their current course of action and underestimating their own capabilities.
The key to alleviating these issues is surrounding themselves with a like-minded community of friends, family members, and even a romantic partner. Having compassionate and considerate people in their life can help them feel more supported in their efforts. But finding connections they align with can also be a challenge. They may have to go through some trial and error before they find equally generous, kind people to befriend.
Core Personality Traits of Those Born on the 16th1. Dreamy & ImaginativeNeptune bestows the gift of imagination to those born on the 16th. Being ruled by the planet of dreams and fantasy means that these individuals are deeply creative. It’s not unlikely for these people to have vivid dreams and rich inner worlds. Spending hours daydreaming may lead to other creative pursuits, such as writing about their fantasies or making art. Finding an artistic medium is the key, since they can use art to channel their visions. Embracing their dreaminess may even lead to a successful career and financial abundance.
2. A Team PlayerIs there anything better than being there for others? People born on the 16th find immense fulfillment in taking part of their community. No matter their childhood and background, these individuals typically prioritize building relationships. Friendships, found family, and romantic love is important to them. They make a conscious effort to be available. Whether they’re helping coworkers plan an office party, organizing a friendly get together, or collaborating on holiday plans with family, these individuals can be counted on to show up.
3. An Inspired & Intuitive LeaderIf anyone should take charge, it’s someone who’s born on the 16th. People with this birth date are beloved for their leadership skills and capabilities. They’re intentional, compassionate, and intuitive, so they’re deeply attuned to everyone else. However, they’re still independent thinkers who have the ability to zoom out and deflect projections. Unlike other leaders who may seek out validation, these individuals trust in their actions and wisdom to do what’s best for everyone involved.
4. 50/50 MindsetThe number one thing people born on the 16th ask for is reciprocity. They’re generous, loving individuals who will go to the ends of this Earth for their families, friends, and romantic partners. All they ask is that their loved ones do the same. Reciprocity makes or breaks these individuals’ relationships. They’ll always try as long as that effort is returned. Luckily, they don’t readily cut people off. After all, people with this birth date would rather address the issue and work on the relationship than lose someone.

Whoopi Goldberg Calls Out Donald Trump's Questionable Etiquette at Solemn Event: 'It Really Bugged Me'
Whoopi Goldberg took issue with a recent gesture from Donald Trump as he saluted fallen U.S. soldiers.
Over the weekend, the president visited the Dover Air Force Base to attend the dignified transfer of six Americans who were killed while in Kuwait during an Iranian drone attack. While he solemnly saluted the caskets as they were each unloaded from the aircraft, there was one detail in the video that rubbed Goldberg the wrong way.
As Goldberg and her co-hosts discussed during the Monday, March 9 episode of The View, Trump noticeably did not remove the baseball cap he was wearing on Saturday, which featured gold letters spelling out "USA" over solid white fabric.
"It really bugged me, and maybe I'm just being picky," the EGOT winner said in a clip from Monday's episode. "When those caskets came off that plane, take your damn hat off."
"Take your damn hat off!" she repeated, while guest host Sheryl Underwood clapped in agreement while adding, "That's right."
@deciderdotcomWhoopi Goldberg called out President Donald Trump on #TheView for keeping his hat on during a dignified transfer of six fallen U.S. soldiers, noting that he should have taken it off "just out of respect."
♬ original sound - Decider - Decider"I didn't understand why nobody pulled his coat tail and said, 'Sir, just out of respect?'" Goldberg continued.
Sunny Hostinthen weighed in, stating, "What I saw, when I saw [Saturday's] dignified transfer, is it was all about Trump, and I thought that was despicable."
But the hosts of The View aren't the only ones who were bothered by Trump's decision not to remove his hat for the somber moment, as the press office for California governor Gavin Newsom also issued a statement to call out the president.

— Governor Newsom Press Office (@GovPressOffice) March 8, 2026"Take your hat off, you disgusting little man," Newsom's press office wrote in a tweet on Saturday.
Another tweet from the account, which frequently mimics Trump's all-caps style in social media posts, read "TAKE OFF THAT HAT AND SHOW SOME DAMN RESPECT."

An HGTV Star Rating Her Past Outfit Choices Has Fans Saying, ‘You Are So Real’
Pulling off a home renovation is messy work. There's dust, demo, paint splatters and a lot of moving parts—so the idea of doing all that while looking camera-ready sounds like a challenge in itself. And yet, somehow the stars of HGTV make it look effortless. One minute they're knocking down a wall, the next they're revealing a gorgeous finished space while somehow still looking completely put together.
But not every real estate show calls for the same wardrobe, and Heather Rae El Moussa is the first to admit it. Before she was part of the renovation world on The Flip Off, she was selling luxury homes on Selling Sunset—a setting where sky-high heels, tiny dresses and ultra-glam office looks were basically part of the job description.
Now, El Moussa is having a little fun with that era of her career. In a recent TikTok clip, she revisits some of her Selling Sunset outfits and gives them a candid rating. The best part? Her commentary. She's playful, self-aware and clearly not afraid to laugh at a few fashion choices along the way. And honestly, we're completely here for the banter.
@heatherraeelmoussaWhich outfit was your favorite?! Did I miss any good ones? 👀✨
♬ [Raw recording] Record playback noise 01 (3 minutes) - Icy LightEl Moussa takes us through a bunch of different looks, modestly giving herself mostly 6's and 7's in terms of ratings. Although she does graciously give one look showing off her baby bump when she was pregnant with son Tristan a 9 (that is a seriously cute dress).
She even zooms in on one of her Selling Sunset season one dresses to show that she has sweatpant marks on her legs ("I love my comfies," El Moussa notes).
"It takes me back down memory lane," El Moussa says. "It's been a long road."

What Fans Are SayingJudging by the comments section, it's hard to tell who had more fun reminiscing—El Moussa or her fans.
"Wish you were still on Selling Sunset," says a viewer. "Always and still love you."
Others chimed in with their favorite looks from the clip, including the blue Balmain ensemble and the glam red dress El Moussa wore to the first Selling Sunset premiere party.
"The OG cast was the best," wrote another fan. "You, Mya and Christina were top tier. Come back!"
Currently the reality star is busy with her HGTV duties and growing her beauty brand Heather Rae Essentials, so a Selling Sunset return seems unlikely. But, hey, a fan can dream, right?
