Amazon’s deal on the Skechers On-The-Go Glide Step 2.0 Rowen Sandal means you won’t have to imagine that scenario for long. These Skechers sandals, which shoppers say “are heaven to walk in,” strike the perfect balance of sporty style, performance, and comfort. The athletic mesh upper and quarter strap design keep your feet cool and secure, offering breathable support for active days, whether you’re running errands or exploring your favorite trails. Inside, Skechers combines two signature cushioning technologies for all-day comfort.

The Goga Mat footbed is a high-rebound, responsive insole designed to feel like a yoga mat, offering a bouncy, springy cushioning that outperforms traditional memory foam. Layered with Ultra GO cushioning, the midsole adds a lightweight, shock-absorbing boost that helps reduce joint fatigue, even on hard pavement.

As part of the brand’s Glide-Step collection, this “supportive” pair features a geometric midsole with hollows in the thick platform, which lighten the sandal, allow it to flex naturally with each step, and act like tiny shock absorbers for a springy, responsive stride. A flexible traction outsole should keep your steps stable on any terrain. When they get dusty or sandy from adventures, the machine-washable design makes cleanup quick and easy, keeping your sandals looking fresh with minimal effort.

Beloved 107-Year-Old Theme Park Is Officially Being Demolished

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 4:10am

For over a century, the gnarled tracks and colorful lights of the south Walescoast offered a predictable kind of magic for families. But an era has officially come to an end as a beloved seaside institution is reduced to rubble. Coney Beach Amusement Park in Porthcawl, which first opened its gates in 1918 to entertain American troops returning from World War I, is currently being demolished after closing its gates for the final time.

The park was more than just a collection of rides; it was a living piece of Welsh history. Generations of families made the pilgrimage to the promenade, where children who once rode the carousel eventually returned to watch their own grandchildren do the same. Its name was a direct nod to the iconic Coney Island in New York, and for 107 years, it brought that same "all the fun of the fair" spirit to the UK.

When the closure was finally announced, the owners shared an emotional message reflecting on the park's deep roots in the community. In a statement they said: “It is with heavy hearts we would like to share with you personally that this season at Coney Beach will be our last.”

“It’s the end of an era. For over 100 years we and other showmen and their families have lived and worked in Porthcawl helping to make it a busy seaside destination bringing fun, laughter, and fond memories to so many,” the Evans family shared. “We will miss it greatly and while we are sad to see our time here come to an end we are forever grateful to have had the opportunity to have been part of so many generations of families’ lives, young and old. Thank you for sharing our love of ‘all the fun of the fair’ and the legacy that Coney Beach leaves.”

While the demolition marks a somber moment for nostalgia seekers, local planners see it as a necessary step for the town's survival. The site is being cleared as part of a major regeneration project that will transform the Porthcawl waterfront into a modern destination featuring nearly 1,000 new homes, shops, and restaurants. As Bridgend councillor Elen Jones observed, the transition hasn't been easy for locals: “People are grieving because it's the end of an era.”

HGTV's Steamy New Tropical Series Just Got a Premiere Date

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 4:05am

While HGTV said goodbye to a number of beloved series over the past year (still not over the cancellation of Married to Real Estate), it's also welcoming a new crop of shows to its lineup. We've already been treated to a couple episodes of Bachelor Mansion Takeover, and now HGTV has set a premiere date for its hotly anticipated new series Tropic Like It's Hot.

The show follows buyers as they look for their dream homes in...you guessed it—the tropics. Think along the lines of part House Hunters International, part Beachfront Bargain Hunt (but with bigger budgets) and part Divided by Design. Because in each episode, it's a romantic couple that is choosing to move to a tropical location together and into their forever home. No pressure or anything.

SIGN UP for the Dengarden / Parade Home & Garden newsletter for a weekly dose of our favorite house hacks, decor trends and shopping deals

Tropic Like It's Hot will premiere on HGTV with two back-to-back episodes on Monday, April 6 at 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Each episode features a couple paired with a real estate agent local to the tropical hideaway in which they want to buy a home. Viewers will be treated to their tours of these stunning properties, all while getting up-close-and-personal as these folks navigate their relationship, relocating to an unfamiliar place and making a massive home purchase all at the same time.

The first season of Tropic Like It's Hot will have 16 episodes, so you'll have plenty of time to get cozy with the show's concept.

Which Locations Will 'Tropic Like It's Hot' Visit?

If it's tropical (and hot), you can bet your bottom dollar the series will head there. In the first episode airing at 10 p.m. on April 6, a couple heads to Tulum, Mexico to find a gorgeous property that fits their wants and needs. Meanwhile, in the second episode airing at 10:30 p.m., a very newly established couple (as in they've been together for all of a week) will search for a home in Jacó, Costa Rica. It all feels very high stakes and, frankly, we are here for all of it.

At the end of March you can escape to Hawaii via HGTV when Renovation Aloha returns with amazing husband-and-wife team  Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama. But if you're looking for brand new home reno shows to watch right now, then tune into the latest season of 100 Day Dream Home with fan favorites Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt.

Country Star and Wife Tease Each Other in ‘Accurate’ Role-Play Video: ‘Banana Peels and All’

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 3:38am

Kane Brownand his wife, Katelyn Jae Brown, make a pretty good team!

Not only are the country music star, 32, and his beautiful bride, 33, proud parents to three children, daughters Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane, and son Krewe Allen, they also are collaborators, having soared to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with their massive duet “Thank God.”

Now, the pair, who tied the knot seven years ago, on October 12, 2018, can add “acting together” to their resume — well, sort of.

In a hilarious new video, jointly shared to their respective Instagram pages on Monday, March 9, as part of a social media trend where husbands and wives swap roles, Brown and his wife can be seen doing just that.

View this post on Instagram They Went All Out With the Costumes

The light-hearted clip, which features the caption, “Things women have to deal with every day,”  begins with Katelyn dressed to look like Brown on a casual day. She is shown wearing an oversized sweatshirt, a backward ball cap, gym shorts, and sneakers. She jokingly, yet aggressively takes out the trash before her famous husband shows off his outfit that’s meant to depict his wife.

The “Good as You” singer dons a cherry-adorned, pink bathrobe and a headband designed to look like bear ears. He pretends to act as Katelyn, getting frustrated over the missing garbage bag in the trash bin after trying to throw away a banana peel. The pair continues the hilarious role-play with  Katelyn stepping her husband’s way to throw dirty dishes in the sink as he appears to be washing them.

Fans, Friends, and Followers Chimed In

Channeling each other's energy and personality in a clip even further, Katelyn lazily uses the toilet before the Georgia-born superstar notices a wet seat in the aftermath. From shoes thrown on the floor to needing help with the kids, Brown’s laugh-worthy clip, meant to promote his upcoming single, has drawn plenty of reactions from both friends, followers, and fans.

Some folks pointed out how “accurate” the clip was, connecting it to their own relationships, while others begged for the couple to come out with a regular comedic series together.

“Accurate,” one person wrote, while another follower added,  “I feel this to my core.”

“Let's make this a series,” a third person added.

Brown’s clip was fitting for the time as the post followed International Women’s Day, which took place on March 8.

“Happy national women’s month!” Brown wrote.

“Shout out to all the amazing women that have to put up with our BS,” he added before promoting his upcoming song “Woman,” due out Friday, March 13.

Alix Earle Reveals Daring Outfit That Made Her Feel Insecure

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 1:58am

Social media star Alix Earle is known for sharing unfiltered moments with her millions of followers. But even someone often praised for confidence and glam admits she sometimes feels unsure about her look.

In a recent post on Instagram, the 25-year-old influencer reshared a photo from her feed and revealed that a bold outfit made her rethink her choice after just a short time wearing it.

“The outfit I put on for 30 mins got insecure & then changed,” Earle wrote on her Instagram Story.

The honest comment quickly caught the attention of fans who are used to seeing the influencer confidently model fashion-forward looks online.

US influencer Alix Earle poses for a photocall upon arrival to attend the Jacquemus Menswear ready-to-wear Fall-Winter 2026/2027 collection as part of the Men Paris Fashion Week.

The outfit that sparked the moment of doubt was a sleek emerald-green dress designed to turn heads. The dress featured a sleeveless halter-style design with a structured high neckline that gave it a polished look.

View this post on Instagram

What made the outfit stand out was its daring centerpiece: a large cutout in the middle of the chest. The design created a bold keyhole effect that revealed a noticeable amount of skin while still maintaining a sophisticated silhouette.

The dress hugged Earle’s figure and showed off a modern, elegant shape. Still, the striking cutout made the look much more revealing than typical evening wear.

Earle’s rise in popularity came largely from her candid online style. Instead of presenting a perfectly polished life, she often shares everyday struggles and personal thoughts with followers.

That openness helped her grow a large audience across platforms. Her “Get Ready With Me” videos and personal updates have turned her into one of Gen Z’s most recognizable digital personalities.

Her career has also expanded beyond social media. Recently, Netflix announced a new reality series centered on Earle’s life and family. The show will follow the influencer as she navigates friendships, business opportunities and her growing public profile.

“I share a lot of my life on social media, and people think they know everything there is to know about my family and me,” Earle previously said while announcing the project, according to Deadline. “But honestly, there’s still so much more.”

The upcoming show will feature her friends and relatives, including her sister Ashtin Earle, giving viewers a closer look at the world behind her online presence.

Outside of her reality series plans, Earle continues to appear at major events and collaborate with brands. She recently starred in a campaign wearing a vintage designer micro minidress for a beverage brand.

She has also been seen attending high-profile gatherings, including a recent event in Las Vegas where she was among the celebrities celebrating the opening of the private members club Zero Bond.

That same weekend, former NFL star Tom Brady also attended the event, fueling ongoing headlines about their rumored casual connection.

Still, despite the glamorous appearances and fashion-forward outfits, Earle’s latest Instagram admission reminded followers that even influencers can have moments of self-doubt.

'Riverdale' Star Announces the Arrival of First Child: 'Our Family'

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 1:57am

Congratulations are in order for Charles Melton!

The Riverdale and Beef star, 35, just revealed that he and girlfriendCamille Summers-Valli have welcomed their first child together. In a social media post on Monday (March 9), Melton shared a slideshow of photos that featured the newborn and Summers-Valli.

"our family," Melton captioned the series of photos on Instagram, including a photo where Summers-Valli could be seen holding their baby while Melton gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Other snapshots included an older picture of Summers-Valli holding her baby bump while standing in a kitchen and in another image, she put her bump on display during a trip to the beach.

The extremely private couple did not share exactly when they welcomed their newborn and did not reveal the baby's name or gender.

They received numerous congratulatory messages in the comment section, including a note from Melton's Riverdale castmate Lili Reinhart who simply wrote, "❤️ angels." Meanwhile, Melton's May December co-stars Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore also sent messages of congratulations.

Other celebrities, including Bella Thorne, Katherine McNamara and Candice Patton all also commented on the happy news.

The couple announced that they were expecting just two months ago, when Summers-Valli shared the pregnancy news in an Instagram post. She shared a variety of photos from throughout her pregnancy, captioning the images, "Making a lil family."

Melton and Summers-Valli, an Australian photographer and director, have also been quite private about the details of their relationship. It's not known when they began dating or how they met. While Melton hasn't spoken out about their romance, he has commented on the need to keep things personal in the public eye.

"People need to mind their own f--king business, honestly. I don’t have Twitter [now X], and it’s one of the reasons why I don’t read through all my comments on social media, because people are always going to talk," he told Hungermagazine in 2019.

He continued, "Honestly it’s not their place to have any authority over my relationships. Not everyone is going to be a supporter or a fan of your relationship, and people need to remember that opinions aren’t facts."

Team USA Star Caitlin Clark Makes Admission About Bad Bunny

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 1:19am

Caitlin Clark is already focused on basketball as she prepares for her national team debut. Still, during a recent media session in Puerto Rico, the American star revealed a lighthearted wish involving global music icon Bad Bunny.

Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever, is in Puerto Rico with Team USA for the upcoming FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifiers. The event is taking place at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, one of the island’s most famous venues.

After practice, Clark told reporters she was enjoying her first visit to Puerto Rico. But she also joked that the experience would be even better if one of the island’s biggest stars were around to perform.

“Yes, I’m super excited. It’s my first time in Puerto Rico. It’s truly beautiful,” Clark said, according to El Nuevo Dia. “I wish Bad Bunny were at the game. I wish he were performing. I checked to see if he was going to be singing while we’re here, but he’s not. Maybe they should bring him. Help us with that.”

Clark delivered the comment with a wide smile, making it clear that the moment was meant to be fun. Still, it quickly caught the attention of fans who love seeing the worlds of sports and entertainment collide.

At the moment, Bad Bunny is not in Puerto Rico. The singer recently completed the first leg of his Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour in Japan and is scheduled to resume the tour in Europe later this year.

Caitlin Clark Excited for Team USA Debut

While her playful remark about Bad Bunny grabbed headlines, Clark’s main focus remains basketball. The 23-year-old guard is preparing to play in her first international tournament with the senior United States national team.

Team USA will play several games between March 11 and March 17 as part of the qualifying event. Their first matchup is scheduled against Senegal, followed by games against Puerto Rico, Italy, New Zealand and Spain.

For Clark, the tournament represents a major milestone in her career. Although she has represented the United States in youth competitions before, this will be her first opportunity to compete with the senior team.

“It’s been a pretty quick process since we got together,” Clark explained. “This was only our third practice, and tomorrow will be a little lighter because it’s the day before the game. Then we play two games back-to-back, so everything has happened very fast.”

Despite the fast preparation, Clark said the energy around the team is very positive. Many players on the roster are experiencing the same thing — their first time wearing the senior national team uniform.

“But I think we’re all excited to get out on the floor and play,” she said. “Whenever you have the opportunity to wear the U.S. uniform, especially at this level, it’s something very few people get to do. It’s an incredible honor.”

The team includes several experienced WNBA veterans along with rising young talents. Players like Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young bring championship experience. Meanwhile, younger stars such as Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers are part of the next generation.

Another challenge for Clark is returning to competition after several months away from the court. Injuries limited her playing time last season, meaning the qualifier will be her first real action in about eight months.

Still, the Fever star said she feels good during practice and is eager to return to game action.

Walmart's 'Soft' and 'Silky' 7-Piece Comforter Set Is the Perfect Spring Bedding Refresh, and It's Over 51% Off

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 1:10am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Sometimes it makes more sense to do a full bedding refresh instead of replacing pieces one by one. Whether you’re updating your bedroom for spring, setting up a guest room, or moving into a new space, a complete set can simplify the process. It ensures everything coordinates perfectly and saves you the hassle of trying to match separate items.

Complete bedding sets can also be surprisingly budget-friendly — one bestselling option right now is the U by Bedsure 7-Piece Comforter Set. It’s currently 51% off at Walmart, bringing the price down from $76 to just $37. For a full bed-in-a-bag setup, that’s a pretty impressive deal.

The set is available in twin, full, queen, and king sizes. Each one includes a comforter, a flat sheet, and a fitted sheet. The twin size also comes with one pillowcase and one pillow sham, while the larger sizes include two of each. It’s designed to give your bed a finished, coordinated look right out of the package.

Care is simple, too. The entire set is machine-washable and can be cleaned in cold water on a gentle cycle. Just tumble dry it on low to keep everything soft and fresh. Easy maintenance like this makes it practical for everyday use.

The comforter itself is crafted from ultra-fine microfiber and filled with fluffy fibers that create a cozy balance of softness and warmth. It’s designed to work year-round, offering comfort without feeling too heavy. The extra-durable polyester microfiber fabric also helps the set resist fading, shrinking, and pilling over time.

Style-wise, the set comes in several color options including beige, sage green, black, and burnt orange, though availability can vary by size. A subtle contrast between the sheets and pillow shams adds a bit of visual interest, while the quilted design helps keep the comforter evenly distributed. It’s simple enough to work with many decor styles, whether you prefer modern, cozy, or minimalist rooms.

This bestselling style has nearly 1,000 five-star reviews. One shopper shared, “This is some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve ever ordered — it’s so soft and really comforting to snuggle into.” Another described it as “absolutely beautiful,” “so warm,” and “silky.”

The available sizes range from 5 to 12, including half sizes (the only size currently out of stock is size 12 in the red hue). 'Landman' Star, 28, Teases Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan's Hit Series

Mon, 03/09/2026 - 11:26pm

Billy Bob Thornton certainly steals the show in Landman, but you have to hand it to his co-stars as well.

Each supporting player has their moments to shine, including Michelle Randolph, who plays Ainsley Norris. If the character's last name sounds familiar, yes — you recall correctly: She's the daughter of Thornton's wise-cracking Tommy.

In a new interview, Randolph, 28, opened up about her experience on Taylor Sheridan's hit series thus far and what might be in store for the highly anticipated third season — for Ainsley in particular, as her once-sheltered character takes the next step in her scholastic career.

View this post on Instagram

"Well, we know who Ainsley is when she is around her family and comfortable. So I’m looking forward to seeing and discovering who she is when she goes to college and she’s around her peers and out of her comfort zone," Randolph told The Hollywood Reporter in an article published Sunday, March 8. "I think we saw speckles of that in season two toward the end."

She continued, "What’s cool about growing with a character is, especially on a TV show, you get to meet them at different points in their life. I’m learning who Ainsley is as she’s learning who she is. That makes me excited to get back."

Randolph also weighed in on what she wants to see going forward for Landman.

"I have so many ideas. I think we all do, but I really trust Taylor [Sheridan’s] vision for the story," she told THR. "This will be going into my fifth season of television with him, and I have learned to trust him and have no expectations for what I think should happen."

Fans might also recognize the rising star from the opening sequence of Scream 7, which had a historic debut on Friday, February 27 — pulling in $28.8 million on opening day, including $7.8 million from Thursday previews.

Sylvester Stallone Makes Move With His Wife After Surprise Announcement

Mon, 03/09/2026 - 11:22pm

Sylvester Stallone’s recent announcement thrilled fans, but his latest public appearance drew extra attention after the legendary actor was spotted with his wife, Jennifer Flavin.

The iconic Hollywood actor is booked and busy with back-to-back projects, with the filming of Tulsa King currently underway.

As the Paramount+ original heads into its upcoming season 4 later this year, Stallone reprises his role as the exiled mobster-turned-self-made kingpin Dwight "The General" Manfredi.

During the shoot in Georgia, the 79-year-old was seen dressed in his character costume and was accompanied by Flavin while on a break.

Looking dapper in a striped, vibrant blue suit and dark sunglasses, Stallone poked fun and mentioned that he was on vacation in Italy with his wife.

“I told you I'm gonna take you on a long vacation in Italy,” he said, as the camera panned to the set with the cobblestone streets that looked straight out of an iconic landmark in Rome.

He then revealed they were actually in Georgia filming Tulsa King. “They did an amazing job, didn't they?” he added.

“So, should we try and find some gelato?" he asked his wife with a playful smile.

The post shared by HELLO! Canada sparked a wave of reactions from fans admiring his recent sighting with Flavin.

“Beautiful couple,” one wrote.

A commenter noticed his sleek outfit and said, “Love the suit!!” while another fan added, “Nice hair, Sly.”

Another user joined the fun and mentioned how the actor’s wife deserves a real taste of Italy.

“Love Tulsa King and what a guy you are and you have a Beautiful Wife, now she deserves the real Italy,” the follower mentioned.

The couple’s latest appearance came following Stallone’s announcement regarding the upcoming prequel to the iconic movie Rambo.

“There is more in the story,” he said in a video, adding, “There’s the prequel, the beginning and that’s what is coming your way.”

Moreover, he also confirmed the exciting news, saying that he will be the executive producer of John Rambo.

“Rambo has been part of my life for a very long time. A character built on resilience, survival and the scars of war. He’s meant a lot to me and to audiences around the world for decades. Now we’re going back to where his story begins. I’m excited to be executive producing @JohnRamboFilm, exploring the early chapter of the man before the legend,” the Instagram caption reads.

Stallone portrayed the iconic character in 1982 after headlining the first Rambo movie titled First Blood.

As for the revived franchise, viewers will get to see Noah Centineo play the lead in the highly anticipated movie. He will be joined by a star-studded cast including Sinners actor Yao, Jason Tobin, Quincy Isaiah, Jefferson White and Tayme Thapthimthong.

With filming currently in progress, executives are aiming for a release in late 2026 or 2027.

2001 Crossover Classic, Among the Most Powerful Funeral Songs, Was a No. 1 Hit 25 Years Ago Today

Mon, 03/09/2026 - 11:06pm

On March 10, 2001, 25 years ago today, Diamond Rio rose to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart (Hot Country Songs chart) with “One More Day.” This milestone marked the Grammy-winning country band’s first chart-topper in four years.

“One More Day” spent two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, first on March 10 and again on March 31 of that year. The beloved Grammy-nominated country ballad celebrated crossover status when it peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

RELATED: 1975 Hit Ranked Among ‘Greatest Songs of All Time’ Was Just Reimagined by Ella Langley

Written by Bobby Tomberlin and Steven Dale Jones, and produced by the band alongside Michael D. Clute, “One More Day” served as the second single and title track from the group’s album of the same name, released in October 2000.

The Song Was Pitched to Other Artists

Surprisingly, it took a while for the song to end up in the band’s hands. In fact, the tune made its way through several artists before landing with Diamond Rio. Alabama nearly recorded it first, followed by Mark Wills, and Brooks & Dunn, but Jones ultimately felt it belonged with Diamond Rio.

“I remember saying, ‘This is going to be a Diamond Rio single, and I hope you hear it so much you get tired of hearing it,’” Jones said of his plans for the song, according to Billboard.

Behind the Lyrics

Featuring soft picking acoustic guitars, fluttering mandolins, plucking piano, and stunning harmonies, “One More Day” finds the band’s lead singer, Marty Roe, sending out a wish to have more time with someone who has gone away that he considers to be close to him.

One more day, one more time / One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied / But then again, I know what it would do / Leave me wishing still for one more day with you / One more day,” the chorus goes.

The Ballad Has Taken on a Life of Its Own

While a touching ode to a loved one, “One More Day” has become much more than that. The song has gone on to impact people across the country as a ballad often used for memorials and funerals, including tributes following the death of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt at the Daytona 500.

“One More Day” also experienced a resurgence in the tragic aftermath of the September 11th attacks, as radio stations replayed the emotional song while Americans mourned those lives that were lost.

“One More Day” was one of a string of hit singles by Diamond Rio, formerly known as the Grizzly River Boys and the Tennessee River Boys. The success of the tune followed previous hits “Meet in the Middle” and “How Your Love Makes Me Feel.”

Following “One More Day,” the band would go on to score two more major hits with “Beautiful Mess” and “I Believe.”
