Nancy Guthrie Update: Neighbor Details FBI Mix-up Early in the Investigation

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 8:22am

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing after Week 6 of the search kicked off—and recently, a neighbor detailed an FBI mix-up early on in the investigation.

On the Monday, March 9 episode of the Brian Entin Investigates podcast, the investigative reporter/NewsNation correspondent interviewed a woman named Aldine, who lives in the same Catalina Foothills neighborhood as Nancy.

Aldine explained that FBI agents went to her sister's home in the same neighborhood on the "second Friday night after Nancy went missing, at, like, 7:30 at night." It was raining, she said, and the agents wore black hoodies while "tapping on her windows and frantically ringing her doorbell."

After the FBI agents entered the sister's home, they reportedly spoke with her and asked questions.

Aldine continued a description of the encounter, sharing, "I think the male did not take his hoodie off, the female did. They wanted to know if she had a pacemaker, and they wanted to look into her garage."

Additionally, she said the male agent "didn't really speak" and "kind of creeped her [sister] out." Aldine added, "My niece called and said, 'Are you sure they were the FBI?'" Because we had all discussed about copycat crimes, people posing as police officers, things like that."

Nancy's neighbor said her sister called the FBI number, but it was busy. So, she called 911, and several police cars and FBI agents showed up. They said "it wasn't the FBI," and the sister was "terrified," Aldine recalled.

According to Aldine, officers swabbed the sister's mouth for a DNA sample and "fingerprinted the entire house." The next day, however, the FBI called and said the woman was, in fact, an FBI agent after all. She claimed that they "didn't really know who the guy was."

Aldine then speculated, "I think in the beginning, the two entities weren't talking to each other properly. I think the FBI and the sheriff's department were not communicating."

The Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) and FBI have been searching for Nancy since Feb. 1, after she was last seen at her home on the evening of Dec. 31. As of writing, the 84-year-old remains missing.

Those with any information about Nancy’s missing case are advised to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

1956 Hit Ranked Among ‘Greatest Songs of All Time’ Became a Rock 'n Roll Classic

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 8:21am

One of the defining songs of early rock and roll arrived in 1956, when Carl Perkins released his now-legendary hit "Blue Suede Shoes." The rockabilly anthem helped shape the sound of the emerging genre and would go on to influence generations of musicians.

Written and recorded by Perkins for Sun Records in late 1955 and released the following year, "Blue Suede Shoes" blended country, blues and rhythm and blues in a way that captured the raw energy of the early rock era. The song quickly became a major hit and marked an important milestone in music history.

In fact, 70 years ago today, Perkins became the first country artist to break into the rhythm and blues charts when "Blue Suede Shoes" became a crossover hit, helping demonstrate how rock and roll was beginning to bridge musical styles and audiences. The record ultimately sold more than a million copies and became the first million-selling country song to cross over to both pop and R&B charts.

According to an interview with Perkins, the inspiration for "Blue Suede Shoes" came from a moment he witnessed while performing at a dance. He reportedly heard a young man warn his partner not to step on his shoes, saying, “Uh-uh, don’t step on my suedes!” The phrase stuck with Perkins, who later built the song around the memorable line and its playful attitude.

Another version of the story involves Johnny Cash, who toured with Perkins and suggested writing a song about a soldier he knew who proudly referred to his prized footwear as “blue suede shoes.” Either way, Perkins quickly turned the idea into a song built around the now-famous opening:

“Well, it's one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, now go, cat, go.”

The song soon became a defining rock and roll standard. Elvis Presley recorded his own version of "Blue Suede Shoes" in 1956 for his debut album, helping introduce the song to an even larger audience. Presley performed it multiple times on national television that year, further cementing its place in pop culture.

Over time, the song has been covered and performed by numerous artists, including Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Paul McCartney andJohn Lennon.

Today, "Blue Suede Shoes" remains one of the most celebrated songs in rock history. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress and included by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame among the “500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.”

Rolling Stone later ranked the track among the top 100 of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, recognizing the lasting influence of Perkins’ groundbreaking hit.

Nearly seven decades after its release, the song still stands as a cornerstone of rock and roll history—proof that sometimes a simple idea, a catchy rhythm and a pair of unforgettable shoes are all it takes to make music history.

How to Score Elite Hotel Status in 2026 (Without the 50-Night Grind)

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 8:10am

We all want the 2:00 p.m. late checkout and the sparkling water in the lobby, but who actually has 50 nights a year to spend in a Marriott or Hilton? As it turns out, in 2026, you don’t need them.

"For most travelers, the easiest hotel elite statuses will come from credit cards rather than hotel stays," says Katie Genter, lead writer at The Points Guy. "Hilton Diamond, Marriott Platinum Elite, IHG Platinum Elite, Hyatt Discoverist and Wyndham Diamond are all relatively easy to hold because you can get them simply by having certain co-branded hotel credit cards."

Here is how to navigate the landscape this year.

Related: This Travel Blogger Turned a Travel Credit Card Bonus into a Free 5-Night All-Inclusive Vacation

The "Automatic" Win

If you want the perks without the effort, certain premium cards hand you status on a silver platter. "Some hotel credit cards give you elite status outright," says Genter. "These cards can be especially appealing if you don’t stay in hotels often but still want top-tier perks like upgrades and lounge access."

  • Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express: Includes Platinum Elite status (hello, lounge access!).
  • Hilton Honors American Express Aspire: Comes with automatic top-tier Diamond status.
  • IHG & Wyndham: Both offer cards that grant Platinum or Diamond status respectively, just for being a cardholder.
  • Other Marriott credit cards / World of Hyatt: "Other cards help you earn status faster rather than handing it to you automatically," says Genter. "Marriott credit cards offer elite night credits each year, lowering the number of nights you need to stay, while World of Hyatt credit cards allow you to earn additional elite night credits as you hit certain spending thresholds."
  • Or, just buy Priority Pass: These are ideal "if you don’t stay in hotels often but still want top-tier perks like upgrades and lounge access."

The Organic Path: Why Hyatt Wins

If you want to earn meaningful status organically through nights or spend, World of Hyatt remains one of the most attainable programs, says Genter.

Low Thresholds: "Hyatt Discoverist requires just 10 nights per calendar year, while Explorist requires 30 nights," she notes.

Meaningful Perks: Despite the low bar, Genter points out that Discoverist still offers "useful perks like preferred rooms, a 10% points bonus and 2 p.m. late checkout."

Expert Tips for 2026
  • Global Value: Looking to make your points scream? Genter points to Southeast Asia (Thailand and Vietnam) and Japan as the current sweet spots where points offer incredible luxury for a fraction of the cost. These "often offer excellent value, even at high-end properties." She also recommends having access to multiple programs to beat dynamic pricing. "Programs with award charts, like World of Hyatt and Wyndham Rewards, can offer predictability on peak dates."
  • The "Stacking" Strategy: If you do plan on staying in hotels frequently, look for cards that offer "Elite Night Credits." These don't give you status outright, but they give you a "head start" (e.g., starting the year with 15 nights already credited to your account).
  • Flexibility is Currency: In a world of dynamic pricing, shifting your trip by just one week can be the difference between a standard room and a suite.

Related: The Biggest Travel Trend of 2026, According to the Points Guy (Exclusive)

The Bottom Line

For many travelers, the simplest strategy is to get hotel elite status as a built-in benefit of one or two credit cards, says Genter. "Start by looking at the hotel brands you already prefer and see whether a card can reduce, or even eliminate, the number of nights you need to stay to earn status."

If you travel frequently or spend heavily on hotels, earning status through stays can still make sense. "Take stock of how many nights and dollars you realistically expect to spend in 2026 and what that would earn you with each program. From there, you may decide to concentrate your stays with one brand or add a co-branded card to help you cross the finish line more easily."

Genter’s best advice for the year? "Decide early which hotel status you want to earn in 2026 and how you plan to get there, rather than scrambling in the final months of the year."

Costco Just Doubled Down on This Vibrant Tupperware Set That’s Packed with Nostalgia

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 8:05am

Listen, I can wax nostalgic all day about the memories the mere mention of Tupperware drums up ... to the point where it sounds ridiculous. But, truly, there's pouring lemonade out of the bright orange pitcher to settle in for an episode of Punky Brewster. And having my sandwiches packed in those just-right square containers so they wouldn't get smushed in my lunchbox. Or the times when my mom would host a Tupperware party and whip up the "fancy" hors d'oeuvres for her friends (and occasionally let me sneak a bite).

It was a much simpler time—mainly because I was a kid and didn't have grown-up responsibilities yet. But, still, that trusty Tupperware didn't just hold leftovers; it held happiness, too. So when I see it in stores now, it feels like being reacquainted with an old friend.

Tupperware Heritage 2-Pitcher and 4-Tumbler with Lids Set, $39.99 at Costco

Costco

Costco just brought back its Tupperware Heritage Pitcher and Tumbler Set, but this time it includes not one but two pitchers. The set retails for $39.99 and comes in two colorways—pink and blue. However, as you can see, the pink set is really an assortment of hot pink and orange Tupperware drinkware. The blue colorway really does include various shades of the hue, with a light green tumbler apparently thrown in for good measure. (Hey, I'm just calling it as I see it.)

Related: This Elegant $7 Aldi Find Makes One Cooking Staple Look So Much More Sophisticated

Each set includes two different-sized pitchers—one holds 70 ounces while the other holds 50 ounces. But they each have those classic Tupperware push-button lids that made refilling your glass so easy.

The 16-ounce tumblers come with leak-proof lids, which makes them kind of perfect for picnics, playdates or any time you want to stay hydrated on the go. What's also really clever is that those lids can double as coasters—no drink rings on your watch.

While you're at Costco, there's no time like the present to stock up on the Lindt chocolate bunnies the warehouse club is selling ahead of Easter. It also has a gorgeous acacia wood bin set in stock that will declutter your pantry in no time. But if you want to warm up your space, check out the reversible accent rugs that Costco members are absolutely loving.

‘Brady Bunch’ Star Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Beloved Co-Star Following Her Death

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:42am

Christopher Knight paid tribute to Jennifer Runyon following her death at age 65.

The actress, best known for her roles in Charles in Charge, Ghostbusters, and A Very Brady Christmas, died on March 6 surrounded by her family, TMZ reported.

Knight, 68, who played Peter Brady on The Brady Bunch TV series from 1969 to 1974 as well as its follow-ups in the 1980s and '90s, posted to Instagram to share a photo of himself alongside Runyon in one of the final scenes of the 1988 TV movie A Very Brady Christmas.

“I’m altogether saddened to learn about the passing of Jennifer Runyon,” the actor wrote. “I had wonderful privilege of working with Jennifer a number of times over the years. There was never a sweeter person to befriend or more conscientious actor to work alongside or a brighter smile to behold. My thoughts are with her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved.

In A Very Brady Christmas, Runyon took over for original cast member Susan Olsen in the role of a college-age Cindy Brady. The role on the top-rated TV movie marked a reunion for Runyon and Knight, who had previously worked together in the early 1980s.

Not only did Runyon play a Knight’s sister in the Brady movie, but she also worked with him on the soap opera Another World. Runyon played Sally Frame while Knight played Leigh Hobson on the NBC daytime drama from 1980 to 1981.

In a video interview on Nosti’s Nook, Runyon explained that she auditioned for the role as the youngest Brady sibling in A Very Brady Christmas when Olsen went on her honeymoon.

“I met with the producers and the director, and they hired me,” she said. "And I don't know anybody who would not want to be a Brady once in their life. So, it was fun.”

She added that the rest of the cast, which included Knight, Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Eve Plumb, and Mike Lookinland, were all “terrific” to work with.

“I had worked with Christopher Knight before on a soap opera,” she shared. “We played boyfriend and girlfriend, which is kind of funny, we ended up brother and sister."

Runyon stepped away from acting in the 1990s

In a 2016 interview on The Lady in Red Blog, Runyon explained that after the birth of her first child, Wyatt,  she wanted to “take some time just to be a mom."

After welcoming kids Wyatt and Bayley, Runyon and her husband, Todd Corman, moved to  Idaho and then Oregon.

"I would work in [Wyatt and Bayley's] schools and teach acting, not to introduce kids to being actors, but doing all of the fun improv exercises with the kids because it helps them get over that fear of being in front of an audience and peers, if they have to give a speech or do a report," Runyon said in the interview. "My hope was, this is a way to enlighten kids, showing them it’s okay to stand up in front of people; anybody can do this."

A Decadent New Chocolate Dessert Just Landed in Costco’s Bakery—With a Surprising Twist

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:37am

Costco isn't slowing down with new releases in the bakery aisle.

The warehouse giant’s latest chocolate-hazelnut creation is already sending the internet into a bit of a frenzy. Tucked among this week’s newest finds is a brand-new dessert that sounds every bit as decadent as it looks.

The Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cake combines two beloved flavors in one indulgent bite, pairing deep, rich chocolate with the nutty sweetness of hazelnuts. Built on a chocolate cake base, the dessert is layered with a "creamy hazelnut filling and kadayif," adding a light, crispy crunch that helps the cake stand out among Costco’s lineup of chocolate treats.

For those unfamiliar, kadayif is a shredded phyllo dough used in traditional pastry desserts throughout the Turkish, Middle Eastern and Balkan regions. The finely shredded dough is then layered or rolled and filled with nuts, baked until crisp, and finally soaked in a sweet syrup.

View this post on Instagram

Costco's cake takes things to the next level, with a twist that elevates the dessert, as it's topped with "chocolate ganache and crushed roasted hazelnuts," for a truly melt-in-your-mouth experience.

And at about 26.28 ounces, there’s plenty to go around. The Discovering Costco Facebook page described it as “perfect for celebrations—or just because,” adding that “one slice won’t be enough.”

Depending on your location, prices range from $13.99 to $16.99, making it both impressive and affordable.

"If you love chocolate and hazelnut together, this bakery find might be one to grab before it’s gone," the CostcoFam4U Instagram account suggested.

As for the best way to eat it, Costco Buys explained, "I’d slice it straight from the fridge for the cleanest cuts, then let it sit a few minutes so the layers soften up."

View this post on Instagram

Fan reactions to the new dessert drop were filled with enthusiasm, as expected, with one shopper stating it "looks delicious," while another joked that it's "killing" their fitness journey.

Costco's bakery has been working overtime to drop spring offerings, with shoppers previously spotting a refreshing Lemon Custard Pie, the return of Carrot Bar Cake (fittingly, just in time for Easter), Cranberry Orange Bagels for the perfect morning pick-me-up, and a dreamy Strawberries & Cream dessert.

If the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cake isn't enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, chocolate lovers can also indulge in Twice Baked Chocolate Filled Croissants, or the New Double Chocolate Mint Sundae that can be found at the food court.

'The Bride!' Just Became the Most Expensive Box Office Bomb of 2026, and the Numbers Are Brutal

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:17am

Warner Bros. Pictures had every reason to feel confident heading into last weekend. The studio was riding a nine-film, back-to-back No. 1 opening streak. That remarkable run included blockbusters like Sinnersand Wuthering Heights. Then The Bride! opened. And it opened badly.

Maggie Gyllenhaal's long-awaited sophomore directorial effort, a reimagining of The Bride of Frankenstein starring Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, earned just $7.3 million domestically over its opening weekend, placing third at the box office. Globally, the film brought in $13.6 million combined against an $80 million production budget, before marketing costs of roughly $65 million are factored in. Industry observers now estimate the film could lose somewhere in the neighborhood of $90 million before its streaming run.

Warner Bros. distribution chief Jeffrey Goldstein was gracious in defeat. In a text message to press, Goldstein acknowledged the miss but defended the studio's approach: 'We're coming off an incredible run of nine No. 1 openings in a row, and in an increasingly 'risk-averse' business like ours, we believe the business is better served with studios taking bold swings on originals like this one. Even the 1927 Yankees had 44 losses that season.'

The picture earned a C+ CinemaScore from audiences, which is the industry's equivalent of 'meh.' A low 43% 'definite recommend' rating from PostTrak exit polling made word-of-mouth tough to rely on. Reviews were mixed with the film holding a 58% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics split between admiring Gyllenhaal's vision and finding the execution frustrating.

Related: Decade-Old Fan Theory About Heath Ledger and '80s Folk Rock Icon Has the Internet Buzzing Once Again

So what went wrong? Several things converged at once. The movie was asking audiences to pay for an R-rated Gothic period horror-romance that critics themselves couldn't clearly define. Was it a punk rock monster movie? A feminist empowerment thriller? A Bonnie-and-Clyde love story? Testing apparently flagged this identity problem early, but the film went forward. And while both Buckley and Bale are genuinely praised in their performances (Buckley is currently the Oscar frontrunner for Best Actress for the entirely different film Hamnet), that buzz may have actually worked against The Bride!, since audiences who wanted to see Buckley could wait for her in a different, more celebrated film arriving on streaming any day.

There's also the shadow of Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, which premiered at Venice last August and has spent months as a critical darling on Netflix, accumulating nine Oscar nominations including Best Picture. Having two major Frankenstein-adjacent films this close together was always going to be a problem, even if the two movies look almost nothing alike.

For Gyllenhaal, the sting may be real but she's not alone. Directors from Paul Thomas Anderson to Cate Blanchett have had singular visions fail commercially without it derailing their careers. And The Bride!'s opening doesn't erase the fact that the film features some of the most ornate, visually deliberate filmmaking of Gyllenhaal's career, and Buckley delivers a genuinely enjoyable performance.

The Bride! has its devotees. It just didn't have enough of them.

This Museum Was Designed By I.M. Pei of the Louvre—And It's in the Midwest

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:10am

When travelers think of the world’s most iconic modern architecture, their minds often drift to the glass pyramid of the Louvre in Paris. But you don't have to cross the Atlantic to experience the genius of legendary architect I.M. Pei. Tucked away in the heart of Southern Indiana is a geometric masterpiece that brings world-class culture to the Midwest—and it won't cost you a dime to enter.

The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University is a visionary landmark that proves "flyover country" is actually a destination for fine art. Whether you are hunting for a Picasso or looking for a dramatic, light-filled space to recharge, this museum is a "quiet luxury" experience in the best possible way.

A Geometric Vision: The I.M. Pei Masterpiece

Eskenazi Museum of Art

The museum isn't just a building that holds art; it is a work of art in its own right. "When Indiana University commissioned I.M. Pei in 1973 to design a permanent home for its art collection, the result was visionary," says Mindy Besaw, the museum’s director. The resulting structure, completed in 1982, remains one of the most significant examples of modern architecture in the region.

"The building is composed of three interlocking triangles—a bold geometric statement that immediately distinguished it as one of the most significant examples of modern architecture in the Midwest," Besaw notes. This signature Pei style creates a space where the architecture itself guides your journey. "For Pei, who was known for designing cultural landmarks that shape how audiences move through space, the commission offered an opportunity to create not just a container for art, but a work of art itself."

Picassos and Passages: What to See Inside

Eskenazi Museum of Art

Many visitors are stunned to realize the caliber of the collection housed here. "Did you know you can see a Picasso painting in southern Indiana? And that’s only the beginning. The Eskenazi Museum of Art houses art from around the world and across centuries—and admission is always free," Besaw explains.

While the gallery walls are impressive, there are a few iconic "must-sees" that have become part of local lore. Outside, you'll find the Light Totem, a vertical beacon that has become a "rite of passage" for students who take photos with their "legs up against the wall, lights glowing across them and the museum facade." Inside, the collections are equally captivating. "Visitors gravitate toward the museum’s extraordinary ancient jewelry collection, featuring intricate adornments from antiquity that feel astonishingly contemporary in their craftsmanship," while the Arts of Africa gallery highlights powerful works of identity and innovation.

Perhaps the best-kept secret of the Eskenazi is the ability to get up close and personal with pieces not currently on display. "The museum has object viewing rooms—equipped with advanced technology for close study and virtual access—where students, researchers and members of the public alike can schedule appointments to experience works of art up close," Besaw says. With over 47,000 objects in the vault, "the viewing rooms offer a rare chance to have a near-private encounter with art history."

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, the museum is leaning into immersive and thought-provoking installations. "The immersive exhibition Mulyana: Vital Ecosystems has transformed the featured gallery into a luminous underwater environment made from textiles," while the upcoming March exhibit, Rania Matar: Where Do I Go? روح؟ لوين, explores themes of identity and girlhood. Later in the year, the museum will even participate in the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by spotlighting a Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington, "affirming that art is not only something to observe, but something to experience, reflect on and live with.

This Unexpected State Was Named Best for a Road Trip in an Electric Car

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:08am

Road trips have long been a classic American travel tradition, but as electric vehicles become more common, the way people plan those trips is evolving. Charging stations, route planning, and range now play a big role in the journey. According to a new analysis highlighted by Travel + Leisure, one small and somewhat unexpected destination has been named the best state in the U.S. for an electric vehicle road trip: Delaware.

The ranking, based on research from EV accessory company Signal + Power, looked at several factors that matter most for electric vehicle drivers. These included charging station availability, charging costs, road mileage, tourist attractions, and average hotel prices. After analyzing all 50 states, Delaware came out on top thanks to its dense charging network and relatively affordable charging costs.

View this post on Instagram Why Delaware Is Perfect for EV Road Trips

At first glance, Delaware might not seem like the most obvious road-trip destination. However, the state’s size and infrastructure make it almost ideal for electric vehicles.

One of the biggest advantages is charging availability. Delaware offers about 12 charging points per 100 miles of road, making it easy for drivers to find a place to recharge. Charging costs average about $0.33 per kilowatt-hour, which is relatively affordable compared to many other states.

Delaware’s geography also plays a role. The state is less than 100 miles long, meaning many modern electric vehicles can travel across much of it on a single charge. That significantly reduces “range anxiety,” a common concern among EV drivers.

And despite its small size, Delaware offers plenty to see along the way. Coastal towns like Rehoboth Beach and Lewes are popular stops for travelers, with boardwalks, seafood restaurants, and scenic beaches. The state also sits along the busy I-95 corridor, making it easy to incorporate into a longer East Coast road trip.

Other States That Are Great for EV Travel

Delaware may have claimed the top spot, but several other states also ranked highly for electric vehicle road trips.

California finished close behind thanks to its extensive charging infrastructure, especially along famous scenic routes like Pacific Coast Highway. Some stretches of the state feature dozens of chargers per 100 miles, allowing EV drivers to stop and recharge at restaurants, scenic viewpoints, and shopping centers.

Other states that made the top ten include West Virginia, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, all of which benefit from relatively dense charging networks and shorter driving distances.

States Where EV Road Trips Can Be Tougher

While EV infrastructure is expanding rapidly, some states still lag behind when it comes to charging availability. States like Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi rank among the lowest in charging infrastructure and EV adoption.

In some cases, the challenge comes down to fewer charging stations per mile of road or lower adoption rates of electric vehicles. Rural states with long distances between towns can also make charging stops harder to plan.

However, infrastructure is improving quickly across the country as new charging stations are built along major highways.

The Best Cars for an EV Road Trip

Of course, choosing the right vehicle can also make a big difference when planning an electric road trip. Experts often recommend cars with longer ranges and fast-charging capabilities.

For example, the Tesla Model 3 is frequently cited as a strong road-trip EV thanks to its 300-plus mile range and access to Tesla’s extensive Supercharger network.

Many newer EVs from brands like Hyundai, Ford, and Rivian also offer fast-charging technology that allows drivers to add hundreds of miles of range in under an hour.

View this post on Instagram Tips for Planning an EV Road Trip

Travel experts recommend shifting your mindset slightly when road-tripping in an electric vehicle. Instead of driving until the battery is nearly empty, plan stops when the battery is around 10–20 percent and charge up to about 70–80 percent for faster charging times.

It’s also smart to build charging stops into your itinerary, perhaps during meals or sightseeing breaks, so the journey feels more relaxed.

With infrastructure improving and EV ranges increasing, electric road trips are becoming easier than ever. And if you’re looking for a surprisingly perfect place to start, the tiny state of Delaware might just be one of the best road-trip destinations in America.

'Three's Company' Most Hilarious Scene Includes a Cameo From a '70s Superstar

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:04am

One of the most iconic scenes in Three’s Company history includes a cameo from a fellow ’70s television superstar. The unexpected crossover only adds to the comedy of the classic moment.

The Three’s Company episode “Up in the Air” aired in 1982 during Season 6. In the storyline, roommates Jack and Janet, played by John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt, teamed up to help Janet impress her new wealthy boyfriend, David Winthrop, played by Brady Bunch star Barry Williams.

Jack accompanied Janet to Larry's island home as her guest. However, Jack was fearful of flying so his friend Larry (Richard Kind) gave him two tranquilizers.

Once they arrived at the elegant party, Jack had a drink, which reacted with the drug. A subsequent moment was one of the series' most hilarious scenes, where Jack acted out of control, dancing and behaving wildly.

Despite Janet's attempts to get him to stop acting out, Jack was too far gone on the combination of medication and liquor. The standout scene incorporated several dance routines, and the physical comedy Ritter excelled at. It was reportedly filmed in one take.

In the end, Janet and David ended up together. Jack passed out from the overexertion and combination of substances.

On YouTube, fans shared their thoughts about this unforgettable Three's Company moment. It remains, per their commentary, one of the greatest television moments in sitcom history.

"The most brilliant routine ever...the critics ignored him for years but even they had to give him the Emmy...thank you...by the way...he did this in one take ..never a cut or stop," wrote one viewer.

"This is one of the all-time greatest scenes in sitcom history. Maybe even the best ever. So good," declared a second fan of the series. "This scene NEVER gets old," claimed a third YouTube user.

Recalling his time on Three's Company in an interview with Conan O'Brien, John Ritter said, "In the '70s, people would put the show down. They'd say it's not as hip as, say, Taxi. But they would add that it was very 'humorous.'"

Three's Company aired for eight seasons, from 1977 through 1984. John Ritter died at age 54 on September 11, 2003, of an aortic dissection.

Starbucks Drops 3 ‘Secret’ Drinks to Celebrate New Rewards

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 7:01am

Starbucks is welcoming its new rewards program today, and with that comes three new "secret" beverages that are only available to members.

Back in January, the popular coffee chain revealed it was brewing up some big changes to its loyalty program, including new ways to redeem rewards and a reimagined, tiered system (don't worry, your existing stars are safe).

Now, in honor of the new rewards launching, Starbucks is celebrating with exclusive beverages that fans can find in the app for a limited time—and just in time to earn more with the upcoming Triple Star day or customize the recipe at no extra cost with its first Free Mod Monday.

Starbucks Rolls Out New Rewards Program and 3 "Secret" Menu Items

According to an official announcement, the new rewards program rolled out this morning and it promises more personalized benefits, greater earning power and exclusive offers.

Existing members can check their tier either in the Starbucks mobile app or the email associated with their active Starbucks account. To find the exclusive rewards-inspired beverage, scroll over to the Secret Menu page in the Starbucks app (or just keep reading).

  • Green: Iced Matcha Latte with strawberry purée and banana cream cold foam.
  • Gold: Iced Caramel Macchiato with toasted coconut cream cold foam and caramel crunch topping.
  • Reserve: Ube Shaken Espresso with mocha drizzle, ube powder, and chocolate cream cold foam.
Starbucks Green 'Secret' Menu Beverage (L), Gold tier (C) and Reserve (R).

Starbucks

While each level inspired its own drink, what you order doesn't appear to depend on your tier. Should you be looking to boost your tier to the next level, Starbies is giving you an opportunity to earn triple the typical amount of stars (rewards points) tomorrow.

On Wednesday, March 11, Starbucks will host the first Triple Star Day since launching its revamped rewards program. The limited-time promotion will give customers more stars for every $1 spent, which could mean racking up serious points. The amount earned depends on each member’s star level: Green level members earn 3 Stars/$1, Gold level members earn 3.6 Stars/$1, and Reserve level members earn 5.1 Stars/$1. Customers can then double those numbers by bringing a personal cup.

Then, just a few days later, Starbucks Rewards members can enjoy one free customization on any beverage, thanks to the new Free Mod Monday perk. Once a month, beginning on March 16, loyalty members can make a personalized edit to any beverage on the menu (secret or main) at no extra cost. This means adding cold foam, an extra pump of raspberry syrup, or a shot of espresso, whatever sounds good enough to get you out of your cozy bed or that dreaded 3 p.m. slump.

Along with the new rewards system and limited-edition "secret" menu, Starbucks customers are in for a whole lot more refreshing updates—to its menu and otherwise.

The first half of Starbucks' spring menu dropped last week, as did its spinoff of the popular Cannon Ball Drink and its seasonal drinkware. The company also recently announced it's working to replace its to-stay mugs and testing updated seating at select stores this year.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Former FBI Agent Says Blood Clue Suggests She Didn’t Leave on Her Own

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 6:44am

Retired FBI special agent Maureen O'Connell said droplets of blood found on Nancy Guthrie’s front stoop could indicate that the 84-year-old did not leave her home on her own. While chatting with NewsNation's Brian Entin, O'Connell pointed out that there was no break in the blood trail for footprints, suggesting Guthrie may have been taken from the residence rather than walking out on her own, a detail that could be significant in the ongoing investigation.

"I doubt that she walked out because there were no voids," O'Connell said of the blood spatter. "So, let's say the pattern of the blood is concentrated here, but the sphere is this big, it's round, you would have a void here from one foot or from another foot or from something. There don't appear to be any voids."

The blood on Guthrie's front stoop appears in drops rather than streaks or smudges and they are mostly in one confined area without evidence of a break or a "void" as O'Connell explains.

"So, for me, in my mind, she's wrapped up in something and they're carrying her out," O'Connell continued.

Retired FBI agent Jim Clemente disagreed with O'Connell's theory to an extent, mainly on the part about Guthrie potentially being wrapped up before being taken out of her home. He said the droplets suggest the blood dripped "straight down" and "wasn't moving at speed," adding that had Guthrie been wrapped up, "she wasn't wrapped up well."

Clemente also said that if Guthrie tried to fight the perp, something could have happened that caused an injury and made her bleed.

Although the Pima County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the blood on the stoop belonged to Guthrie, there haven't been any additional details about that blood spatter. It's also unknown if there was any blood inside the home and, if so, what it may have looked like.

1976 Landmark Record Ranked No. 1 ‘Debut Album of All Time’

Tue, 03/10/2026 - 6:39am

Some artists spend decades searching for their sound. Others arrive fully formed. Which is exactly the case with the crown jewels in Rolling Stone’s comprehensive list of the “100 Best Debut Albums of All Time.”

From Alanis Morissette, Patti Smith, and Taylor Swift, to Run-DMC, Guns N’ Roses, and The Beatles, the magazine hits just about every genre, voice, and beat. For our purposes here, we’re going to focus on the top five -- starting with the cream of Rolling Stone’s crop: the Ramones’ eponymous 1976 debut.

Released on April 23, 1976 by Sire Records, the seminal record is widely considered the very first entry in to the canon of punk rock music. Played in full, the 14-track album clocks in at a swift 29 minutes, with each bop channeling the signature kinetic energy and rebellious nature of the movement it served.

“Our early songs came out of our real feelings of alienation, isolation, frustration -- the feelings everybody feels between seventeen and seventy-five,” singer Joey Ramone said, per Rolling Stone

Though arguments could be made for every track on the album being a hit, standout songs include “Beat on the Brat,” ”Blitzkrieg Bop,” and ”Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue.” Played on repeat today, that wasn’t the case back in the ’70s. It actually took a hot second for the Ramones to catch on.

According to American Songwriter, critical reception for Ramones was universally praised; commercially, however, it kind of bombed. It wasn’t until 2014, nearly four decades later, that the record finally hit gold status.

“Guitarist Johnny Ramone refused to play solos,” Rolling Stone writes, “his jackhammer chords became the lingua franca of punk -- and the whole record cost just over $6,000 to make. But Joey’s leather-tender plea 'I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend' showed that even punks need love.”

Formed in Forest Hills, Queens, in New York City, in 1974 year, the original Ramones included members Jeffrey Hyman (Joey Ramone), Douglas Colvin (Dee Dee Ramone), John Cummings (Johnny Ramone), and Thomas Erdelyi (Tommy Ramone). Tragically, by 2014, all four had passed away, but not without leaving an indelible mark on rock music.

Rounding out the top five on Rolling Stone's list are The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready to Die(1994), The Velvet Underground’s The Velvet Underground and Nico (1967), Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)(1993), and Patti Smith’s Horses (1975), in that order.
