Chris Watts’ secret second mistress, Amanda McMahon, is breaking her silence, speaking out about her relationship with the man who was convicted of killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two young daughters in August 2018.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, McMahon said she met Watts on Tinder while she was going through a divorce, with the two communicating online for a bit before ultimately meeting in person at a Chick-fil-A parking lot. She said that Watts told her he was separated from the mother of his children, going as far as to claim she was using the children against him in the custody battle.

The two then went back to McMahon's house, where she later told police that he became "frighteningly rough during sex." And that same night, the two put on a movie, with Watts selecting Shutter Island, which is about a man who kills his wife after discovering she murdered their children.

She said that while they were intimate, an "animalistic fury came over him," explaining that Watts became aggressive and she was "scared to really say anything."

At the time, she told police that they had only been together once, but she has now come out, telling The Daily Mail that the two were together for months, but she didn't disclose this because she didn't want the information used against her in her own custody battle.

"Looking back on it, I could tell any kind of sweetness he had was very fake," McMahon told the outlet about Watt's personality. "I won’t say forced, because he was able to turn on the charm for anything he needed…but something about him felt off."

Between the late spring of 2017 and early 2018, McMahon says she and Watts saw each other a few other times, also alleging that Watts asked for access to her prescription opioids. However, she said she never used the pills with him nor saw him using them.

While the two were together, McMahon said Watts would also talk very poorly of his wife Shannah, calling her an '(expletive) psycho’ and a 'gold digger.'

However, after a while, McMahon says she "grew tired of Watts," specifically regarding his constant complaints about his marriage, his request for opiates, and his constant texts. The relationship ultimately ended in 2018 when she changed her phone number.

But McMahan recalls seeing Watts again for the first time when she was scrolling Facebook and saw him on a news channel asking for any information regarding his missing family. Watts was ultimately arrested two days later and admitted to strangling Shannan and smothering his children. He was sentenced to life behind bars. During the investigation, it became known that Watts was also having an affair with his co-worker, Nichol Kessinger.

Following his arrest, she shared a note on Facebook about meeting Watts on Tinder, which was forwarded to the Frederick Police Department. She was interviewed shortly after, saying she was only ‘99.9 percent’ sure the man she was with was Watts, but didn't feel comfortable enough to testify.

Watts, on the other hand, has denied being with McMahon, saying his only affair was with Kessinger.

A documentary on the murders was released on Netflix in 2020 titled "American Murder: The Family Next Door."

Forty-eight years ago, beloved Irish punk rock band The Undertones released "Teenage Kicks"—a song that made waves and remains a cult classic despite being written by a teenager.

Released in September 1978 as the lead single from their debut self-titled album, "Teenage Kicks" was their first taste of mainstream attention. In October, the song entered the UK Singles Chart, climbing up the tally until it peaked at No. 31. It spent a total of seven consecutive weeks on the chart and sold approximately 400,000 copies in the UK—a major feat for the up-and-coming group.

Despite its major cult acclaim, the punk rock anthem was penned by rhythm guitarist and primary songwriter John O'Neill when he was only 19 years old. The musician wrote the beloved song in his bedroom in 1977, taking inspiration from '60s pop girl groups and punk bands like the Ramones to capture the teenage experience.

Although the song became massively popular among young demographics, O'Neill has opened up about his initial doubts about it, even stating that he still doesn't think it's that good.

"In 1978 we didn't think 'Teenage Kicks' was the best song," O'Neill reflected in an interview with Q Magazine. "'True Confessions' was the one we thought people would go for and we only named the EP after it because we were teenagers and it seemed appropriate. To be honest, I still don't think the song's that good—it's the band's performance on record that gives it the special quality. We were just the right age at the right time. It's the strength of the voice, and the urgency of the drums and guitars, it seemed to capture the moment."

"Teenage Kicks" tells the story of a teenage boy who has a crush on a neighborhood girl whom he can't have. The track highlights the experience of youthful desire, infatuation and the rush that comes along with it. Mirrored by the song's racing melody and restless adolescent energy, its lyrics deeply resonated with young listeners, making for an enduring punk-rock anthem.

To this day, "Teenage Kicks" remains an unforgettable staple among cult punk-rock fanatics. Nearly 48 years since its release, the song continues to reach new audiences in the digital era. On Spotify alone, it has accumulated over 96.4 million streams, attesting to its timelessness in the genre.

It’s been 53 years since Led Zeppelin was robbed of $200,000, yet the story still sparks fascination in their fans — because over five decades later, the case still hasn’t been solved.

At the time, Led Zeppelin was on the second leg of their 1973 North American tour. They were promoting their latest album Houses of the Holy, featuring songs like “Over the Hills and Far Away” and “The Rain Song.”  Just before taking the stage to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York, the band’s road manager Richard Cole realized that their safe deposit box at the Drake Hotel had been robbed.

Led Zeppelin's managers told detectives they kept cash on them because they had “a lot of expenses to pay,” their website states. Cole reported that the money was in the box when he opened it at around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, but at 7:30 p.m., only passports remained in the deposit box. He said between $203,800 and $220,000 was missing.

Despite the robbery, guitarist Jimmy Page recalled that the band went on stage with passion.

“I was informed as we were on the side stage just before going on to perform that there had been a robbery at the Drake Hotel where the safety deposit box had been relieved of cash the previous night,” Page said in an Instagram post. “Somehow all this manifested in even more passion in that night's performance.”

Although the case was never solved and the $200,000 never recovered, the band did make an estimated $4 million from their 1973 tour. Riding the wave of Houses of the Holy’s success, the band traveled in a private Boeing 720B jet airplane, sold out shows at Madison Square Garden, and broke attendance records in Atlanta, Tampa, and San Francisco.

Although Led Zeppelin broke up in 1980, the band recently found itself on Official Charts’ Rock and Metal Albums Chart. Breaking back in at No. 37 earlier this month, the band remains a fan-favorite today.

Tomei is Playing Rachel Zegler’s Mom

While one look at Tomei makes it hard to believe she’d be old enough to have an adult daughter, the actress is hard at work on a new project in which she plays the mother of actress Rachel Zegler. Last year, Variety announced that Tomei was set to star as Zegler’s mom in She Gets It From Me as the “pill-popping, ex-punk rocker birth mother” who turns her daughter’s engagement celebration upside down while attempting to reconnect.

While Tomei has a laundry list of tremendous films on her resume, Deadline announced earlier this year that she would join Casey Affleck, Sam Rockwell, and Kathy Bates in The Smack, a project based on the 2017 novel by Richard Lange. According to the piece, the film follows a down-on-his-luck conman, played by Affleck, who teams up with a casino waitress to execute a high-stakes con targeting a hidden cache of stolen U.S. military cash.

 “What starts off as an easy plan spirals into a deadly game as they collide with dangerous criminals chasing the same score,” the synopsis reads.

Kate Gosselin's family has suffered a heartbreaking loss.

The mother-of-eight took to TikTok to share that her German Shepherd puppy, Meika, had died. The news comes just seven months after Gosselin lost her dog, Nanuq.

"I have tried to write this a few times over the last few days,” Gosselin, 51, wrote on TikTok on Tuesday, July 28. "It feels too final to put it on paper, so to speak. We lost Meika in the middle of the night on Saturday. She went into respiratory failure and they couldn’t revive her. I have NEVER in my life been so broken, angry or grief stricken."

“We are suffering. Koda is suffering," she said, referring to her other dog. "Please give us time to grieve and we’ll be back at some point. Our baby, the closest thing to a child that Steve and I will ever have, was only 15 months and 10 days old," she continued, referring to her boyfriend, Steve Neild. "Life is so cruel and unfair. This one I’ll never heal from," she concluded.

Gosselin received love and support from her fans, many of whom commented on her post with condolences.

"I am so sorry for your loss. It is difficult enough to say goodbye when they are older, but when they are so young it is truly hard to accept," one person wrote.

"You love your dogs so hard (as I do mine). I am truly so sorry for you, Steve, and Koda. What great love Meika had while she was here! From a true dog lover and shepherd owner whose heart is so broken for you," another fan added.

Days prior, Gosselin asked fans for prayers as she shared that she was taking Meika to the emergency vet for the "second time in 12 hours." An X-ray showed that the pup had pneumonia.

Gosselin often shared pictures and videos of Meika on social media. She introduced Meika to the world in July 2025.

Nara Smith isn't a fan of the movement her face is often used to promote. Smith became famous for her cooking video on TikTok in late 2023. She often posts videos of herself in a full face of makeup and glamorous clothing, making food and drinks from scratch.

Her videos are used as an example of Trad Wife content, a conservative buzzword used to describe archaic ideals about traditional gender roles in marriage and parenthood. Nara Smith does not claim to be a tradwife. In fact, the model finds it “very concerning” and sees herself in a totally opposite light.

On her July 29 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the TikToker opened up about how she really felt about the label. “They kind of used me as the poster child for the tradwife movement, which was very bizarre to me,” Smith explained. “I had to look up the term, because I wasn't familiar with that.”

Smith proceeded to read out the Google definition of a tradwife, and go “point by point” to highlight how little she had in common with the term. “I don't prioritize being a homemaker, I'm a working mom,” Smith noted. Nara has also documented her pregnancies, motherhood and her daughter's recent cancer journey.

"I'm out in L.A., I travel a lot. Sure, do I love cooking because it's my passion and because I kind of have to due it given my autoimmune [disease]? Absolutely. But that's a passion of mine. It's a hobby. It's not something that I need to be doing,” she continued.

She also noted that she wasn't the primary caregiver and split parenting with her husband Lucky Blue Smith, something standard with tradwife culture. She did admit that she took main responsibility for cooking, cleaning, and managing the household, but for a good reason.

“My husband burns everything, apart from a good steak, so he'll do that. But I look cooking, so I'm doing it. Household and cleaning? He does the dishes. I don't touch the dishes. There's no way you're going to see me washing and scrubbing the dishes. Also, he cleans our house. He's very specific with how things need to be cleaned, so he does it.”

“Do I support the husband's role as the primary breadwinner? No,” Smith also added. “We both work. That doesn't make any sense. I provide for our family.”

She even admitted that the term tradwife upset her, and she has tried numerous times to shake it off. “I’d be like, ‘What is happening? Did they not know that I worked as a model. I’ve been working since I’ve been 14.’ All these things, but I think I am very very compassionate,” Nara shared.

“So, I remember posting this video of this morning routine and my voiceover was me being a working mom and traveling and kind of debunking all of that, but then a lot of the comments were still that narrative and I realized that a lot of the people that are very, very stuck in this narrative do not want to be corrected,” she added.

The harsh label has actually lost her work. She told Alex Cooper that someone rejected working with her, saying: "I don’t care what you say, what you do, what you show me, what Forbes articles you show me of her business. She is a trad wife to me, and I don’t wanna work with her."

This rejection opened Smith's eyes to the fact that no matter how much you debunk a narrative, some people will never stop believing it. The TikToker thinks it's worse with men, though. "I stumbled across a fair amount of women that are exactly like that, so I think it’s not very gender specific. I think there’s just a bigger issue as a society that we have.”

The South African-German influencer and model told the podcast host, Alex Cooper, that she felt like there needed to be a “bigger conversation” about the treatment of women. “I find it very concerning that we need to put women in very specific, very narrow boxes in order to make sense of them,” the influencer said.

“Why can't we do it all? Why can't we be a working mom that enjoys cooking, that enjoys being home and taking care of our kids, but also is out on the next plane to L.A. to take business meetings with executives. Like, why can't that coexist? That's something that's very concerning to me, that a woman can't exist under any terms but the little boxes we put them in,” the 24-year-old concluded.

I've covered a lot of what to do with a small accent rug, but it's a good idea to get into the don'ts as well.

The secret is out. After teasing fans with a countdown clock and a lyrical snippet, the Beatles have announced a project fans have been anticipating for years—the newly remixed and expanded special edition of their classic 1965 album Rubber Soul.

The expanded album, newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell, will arrive on Oct. 2 in multiple physical formats and digitally with new stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes of the original album.  The Super Deluxe Edition will include 20 previously unreleased takes and three previously unreleased home demos, plus the never-before-released John Lennon song “Little Girl.”

Originally released on Dec. 3, 1965, Rubber Soul captured the Beatles reaching new heights both musically and lyrically. It came just four months after the release of Help! in America, and “I’ve Just Seen a Face” and “It’s Only Love” from the British version of Help!, were tapped to open each side of the American version of Rubber Soul.

Along with those tracks, Rubber Soul includes such classic songs as Paul McCartney’s “Michelle,” and John Lennon’s “In My Life” and “Norwegian Wood (The Bird Has Flown),” which is the first rock song to feature sitar.

Upon its original release, Rubber Soul reached No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in its third week, becoming the Beatles seventh chart-topper in less than two years. Yet it has a distinction that made it different from the band’s previous No. 1 albums. It was their first not to include a No. 1 single. In fact, no singles were released in America from the album.

Among the rarities featured on the new deluxe edition of the album are early versions of “Day Tripper” and “We Can Work It Out,” as well as Lennon’s previously unreleased “Little Girl.”

The four-CD and five-LP Super Deluxe editions also include an 88-page book with a new written introduction by McCartney and a foreword compiled from the words of the late Lennon.

The updated Rubber Soul will also be available in standard single CD and LP editions, two-CD Special Editions as well as the four-CD and five-LP Super Deluxe editions. It will also be offered on Blu-ray, with the new Dolby Atmos mixes, high-resolution stereo audio and promo films for “Day Tripper” and “We Can Work It Out.”  Limited-edition orange vinyl and D2C exclusive Zoetrope vinyl editions will also be available.

The band is previewing the new set with a previously unreleased take of “Michelle.”

"I love throwing parties, so I'm so excited to throw my first-ever official tea party in the house!" she exclaims. "Everybody's dressing up. We're making cute little snacks, even some that are Have-Not friendly. We're decorating the table and all going outside and drinking."

Indeed, bouncy music plays as the houseguests prepare for the occasion. The players filter out into the backyard, eagerly treating themselves to a buffet of finger foods. Some of them get dressed up, with Drew Campbell and Barrett Pfeiffer even dressing in drag for the evening. They have no idea that Kamu is about to be a drag on their enjoyment for the night.

As we know, the MMA fighter has an ultimate plan for his time as the Head of Household: Backdoor Jason. After all, the Drag Race alum is one of the biggest threats outside of his "Toolshed" alliance, someone who can make relationships and, most importantly, win competitions. So Kamu has dreamed up an impromptu house meeting, an opportunity for him to call out Jason's deception in front of the entire cast in the hopes that it isolates him and prevents anyone from working with him, lest he once again win the BB Block Buster.

The first Big Brother season Kamu watched, he got to see Dan Gheesling host his own funeral. And, dressed in all black with slicked-back hair, he was eager to hopefully bury Jason.

"First of all, I just wanted to say, this has been one of the coolest experiences of my life," he says to begin his planned speech. "And there's nobody else that I would want to experience the game with than you guys, so cheers to that." The group does a toast, which then sets Kamu up to take a hard right turn with what comes next.

"With that said, though, since we're all here as a house, I do obviously want to address the elephant in the room," he continues. "And that is the fact that I'm gonna have to name a fourth nominee. But there is something that I do want to address with everybody here. Shortly before the nomination ceremony, I had a conversation with Jason, and I offered him a deal. I said, 'Hey, Jason, if I don't put you up on the block, and you happen to get picked and play in the Veto comp, and you win, will you allow me to decide what to do with that veto?' And he goes, 'Dude, absolutely.' And I said, 'Alright, man. Well, let's make a deal.' We we shook hands.

"But after you and I made that agreement, several people started to come up to me saying that you had made a deal with all three of the nominees. That if they picked you to play in the competition, you would use the veto on them to take them down."

"I usually love to cause a little bit of chaos," says Rick Devens in a DR confessional (and two seasons of Survivor, as well as last week's nominations ceremony prove that!). "But in this situation, I am so happy to just sit back and watch the show. Let the tea be spilled!"

Of course, the question is, who leaked this information to Kamu. And the correct answer is none other than the game show host herself, Melody Morris. "I definitely told Kamu Jason's plans for the Veto," she admits in the DR. "I'm gonna shut up right now because my show's on."

Coming back to Kamu, he attempts to pin Jason to the mat, asking, "If you were to win the Power of Veto yesterday, would you have held your end of our deal? Or would you have used it on Lala like you told her you would?"

What doesn't help his case is the aforementioned LaTrice "Lala" Verrett immediately responds with, "I don't remember us having that conversation. He never made a promise to me to use the Veto on me."

The entire time during the "Kamonologue," Jason has not changed his position. Since the HoH started talking, he's sat back, cuddled with Lyric Medeiros. While his eyes grow wide at where his speech goes, he's far from submissive.

"Kamu's trying to spill some piping hot tea," Jason describes in the DR. "But baby, I'm the kettle!" (Saying nothing about the fact that Jason will quite literally be carrying a kettle around the house and loudly banging it with a spoon in the wake of this conversation.

Kamu is about to learn that it would be foolish to shine a spotlight on a drag queen. Especially a Drag Race all-star at that.

"This is Big Brother, right?" Jason says in real-time. "So, for my game, I have to look at what's best for me. You told me in the HoH room that the house said that Lala and I are the biggest threats of the house."

"Not the not the biggest threats," Kamu counters. "I never said the biggest threats."

"Y'all had a conversation with Kamu and said that I'm the one who should go on the block. Y'all, according to Kamu, said that she should go up on the block. This is a whole group thing. So of course I'm gonna feel like I'm gonna get renamed. That's a very natural feeling for me to have, is it not? When everyone apparently is saying I'm the big threat because I won one Block Buster. I've never won power twice. I've never won HoH."

"I couldn't even hit a ball!" chimes in Lala, postiviely apoplectic at this news. "How am I the biggest threat?!"

"So you can't sit here and make me a giant target in front of everyone and try to call out my game," Jason adds, shutting Kamu down when he attempts a rebuttal. "My game maybe was to lie to these three nominees to their face, so I can switch up my game and work with you guys."

What should be noted is, outside of Kamu, Jason, and Lala, everyone else at the party is starkly silent. And that was even more palpable watching this live, as several awkward silences were peppered throughout this hour-long fight. And so, to cap things off, we go to one of the bystanders, someone who happens to be quite literally close to Jason during all of this: Lyric.

"Part of me does feel bad for Jason because he's kind of being targeted," she admits in the DR. "But at this tea party, I really can't say anything because I don't want to target on my back moving forward in these next weeks."

Indeed, much like everyone else in the house, Big Brother fans were in rapt silence as this was going down in real-time on Sunday evening. As is always the case, we'll see how much of the rest of the tea party makes the air and, in particular, if the edit will take a "side" between the two men. Regardless, given what Kamu is attempting to do, much like a well-steeped tea bag, Jason seems to be in quite a bit of hot water.

A retired FBI profiler dissected Savannah Guthrie's "hidden message" in a new video plea the Today co-anchor posted as her mother, Nancy Guthrie, remains missing nearly six months later.

During the July 29 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, NewsNation senior national correspondent Brian Entin speculated, "It seems Savannah is talking directly to the person who is responsible for taking her mother... This did seem like a more crafted message, similar to the videos that we saw her put out early on."

Entin then spoke with retired FBI profiler Ray Carr in the episode, titled "Hidden message in Savannah's video — and Nancy Guthrie sheriff says FBI director has inaccurate info."

"The wording of her response appeared to be consistent with principles that I used in hostage negotiations," Carr observed. "I'm not saying that the bureau was involved in doing this. But her message, it acknowledged receipt of communications, it didn't escalate tensions. It didn't make any threats. It didn't challenge the offender. It projected cooperation."

Additionally, the former FBI profiler shared, "I think it left a lot of flexibility for law enforcement, if they're listening. I'm not going to say that the FBI crafted this. It doesn't necessarily mean that the FBI wrote this statement."

However, Carr pointed out, "It's an active kidnapping investigation. So when you have that, things like this are usually going to be closely coordinated with investigators."

Carr also agreed with Entin that Savannah's message was a direct message to her abductor(s).

"She was talking to the person she believed was responsible for taking her mother, or persons, at this point. It was very specific," he said. "And she even said, 'You can always do the right thing. There is always time to do the right thing.' And she made that very clear."

On July 27, Savannah released a video on Instagram, during which she declared, "It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end. Nothing about our situation has changed. We have done our part, and we will never stop looking for her.”

Savannah continued, "The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place, and I know that you have tried to do things the right way. So I'm asking you—begging you—to do the right thing now. Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her. I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing."

Nancy, 84, was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31. As of writing, no suspects have been named in the case, as the investigation nears the six-month mark.

We did a taste test of all eight flavors in the Archer Roose canned wines line to see if they lived up to the hype. Read on for the results, and see what my favorite flavor of the bunch was.

What Is Elizabeth Banks' Wine Brand, Archer Roose?

Archer Roose was founded on the idea that great wine doesn't have to come from a traditional glass bottle. Instead, the company packages high-quality wines sourced from renowned wine regions around the world into sleek, recyclable aluminum cans. Banks has helped bring a fun, approachable personality to the brand while emphasizing that canned wine shouldn't be viewed as a compromise in quality.

The company offers a wide variety of wines, from crisp whites and refreshing rosés to sparkling wines and bold reds, giving wine lovers plenty of options whether they're headed to a picnic, beach day, camping trip or simply relaxing on the patio.

I'll admit, I was initially drawn to Archer Roose because of the branding. The illustrated artwork on each can is beautiful, playful and sophisticated without feeling pretentious. Even the matte finish of the cans stood out to me—it feels surprisingly premium in your hand compared to many canned beverages. But attractive packaging only goes so far. I wanted to know if the wine inside actually lived up to the presentation.

So, I grabbed every flavor currently available and tasted each one at room temperature and chilled to see whether Archer Roose deserved the hype. I came away genuinely impressed. Every single wine had a smooth finish, balanced acidity and enough complexity to feel like a quality pour rather than a novelty. While I definitely had favorites, there honestly wasn't a bad wine in the lineup.

My Ranking Methodology: How I Tested the Canned Wines

To keep everything as fair as possible, I chilled one of each variety before tasting because these wines are clearly designed to be enjoyed cold. I sampled each at room temperature and chilled before considering what foods it would pair well with.

My rankings were based on several factors, including overall flavor, smoothness, acidity, balance, finish, drinkability and whether I would personally buy it again. One thing that immediately stood out was how balanced every wine felt. None were harsh, artificial-tasting, overly acidic or aggressively sweet. Each had a pleasant fruit-forward profile while still maintaining enough tannins or crisp acidity to feel like a true wine rather than a sugary beverage.

Although my rankings reflect my personal taste preferences, I can honestly say that every variety felt high-quality and well-made.

The Bottom Tier: Flavors I Probably Wouldn't Buy Again

These three flavors were the canned wines at the bottom of my taste test.

8. Archer Roose Malbec

Malbec landed in last place, but not because it wasn't good. It's simply the style of wine I reach for the least often. Made with flavors of warm vanilla, blackberry and plum, Archer Roose's Malbec was smooth with balanced tannins and a clean finish. I would absolutely enjoy this alongside grilled steak, lamb lollipops or another rich red meat dish. On its own, though, it just isn't what I naturally gravitate toward.

7. Archer Roose Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir wasn't far behind. Known for flavors of red berries and clove, this version was elegant and balanced with gentle acidity. Like the Malbec, I appreciated its quality, but simply don't drink many red wines unless they're paired with a hearty meal. If I were serving filet mignon or roasted lamb, I would happily open this can. It won Best in Show at the International Canned Wine Competition, after all.

6. Archer Roose Chardonnay

Chardonnay rounded out my bottom three, though I still found it excellent. This unoaked variety offers notes of apple, pineapple and citrus, and Archer Roose’s version was nicely balanced, with a creamy texture that never became overly buttery. While Chardonnay isn’t my favorite white wine, I can easily see fans of the variety enjoying this one.

The Top Tier: The Elite Archer Roose Canned Wines

From this point on, every wine became genuinely difficult to rank because I truly enjoyed them all. These wines struck the perfect balance of being slightly sweet without becoming sugary, while remaining crisp, refreshing and incredibly smooth.

5. Archer Roose Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc delivered bright flavors of citrus, specifically grapefruit, which was quite pronounced when sipping. Its crisp acidity made it incredibly refreshing while still feeling balanced. I loved how clean the finish was, making it perfect for seafood, grilled chicken, fresh salads, sushi or simply relaxing outdoors on a warm afternoon. There’s a reason it won Wine of the Year at the Sommeliers Choice Awards in 2026.

4. Archer Roose Bubbly

The sparkling Bubbly was lively without being overwhelming. Its delicate bubbles carried notes of green apple and honeysuckle. It felt celebratory while remaining easy to sip. I could easily picture bringing several cans to a picnic, brunch or holiday gathering where everyone wants something light and refreshing.

3. Archer Roose Bubbly Rosé

Bubbly Rosé combined everything I liked about sparkling wine with beautiful berry flavors. Expect notes of apple, strawberry and delicate floral aromas. The bubbles enhanced the freshness without overpowering the wine. This quickly became one of my favorite options because it felt festive while still being incredibly easy to drink. I can see why it won Best in Show for the Sparkling category at the International Canned Wine Competition in 2025.

2. Archer Roose Pinot Grigio

A new variety for Archer Roose, Pinot Grigio nearly claimed the top spot. It featured classic flavors of nectarine, apple and lemon, which I could easily taste with each sip. The crisp finish pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled shrimp, chicken, pasta dishes, vegetarian meals or a charcuterie board. It was refreshing, clean and dangerously easy to keep sipping, to be honest.

The #1 Best Archer Roose Flavor: Rosé1. Archer Roose Rosé

Without question, Rosé was my clear winner.

From the very first sip, this wine stood apart from the rest. It was beautifully fruit-forward without becoming overly sweet, featuring vibrant flavors of ripe strawberries, raspberries and bright grapefruit zest. Those citrus notes kept everything refreshing while the berry flavors added just enough sweetness to create incredible balance.

This was easily the smoothest wine in the lineup for my personal taste. Every sip felt crisp, refreshing and incredibly well-rounded. I found myself reaching for it over and over throughout the tasting.

Served ice-cold, I think this Rosé would pair wonderfully with grilled seafood, roasted chicken, fresh salads, snacking boards, light pasta dishes or even enjoyed completely on its own while sitting outside on a warm summer evening. It's the kind of wine that's approachable enough for casual drinkers while still offering enough complexity to satisfy people who appreciate quality wine.

If I could only buy one Archer Roose flavor again, it would absolutely be the Rosé.

Are Canned Wines Actually Good? (The Pros and Cons)

Before trying Archer Roose, I admittedly questioned whether canned wine could really compete with traditional bottled wine. After tasting every variety in the Archer Roose line, my opinion completely changed.

The biggest surprise was how smooth each wine tasted. None felt harsh or overly acidic, and every variety maintained a pleasant balance of fruit, sweetness, tannins and acidity. They tasted like thoughtfully crafted wines rather than beverages designed purely for convenience and casual sipping.

I also really appreciated the packaging. The artistic can designs immediately catch your attention, while the matte finish gives the cans a premium feel that sets them apart from many canned drinks on store shelves. They're lightweight, easy to transport, quick to chill, and eliminate the need for corkscrews or worrying about finishing an entire bottle.

The only real downside is that wine enthusiasts who enjoy aging bottles or serving wine tableside may still prefer traditional glass bottles for certain occasions. But for everyday enjoyment, outdoor entertaining, vacations or casual dinners, canned wine makes an incredible amount of sense.

Overall, I came away pleasantly surprised by Archer Roose. Elizabeth Banks and the team behind the brand have created canned wines that don't simply rely on celebrity branding—they genuinely deliver quality. While my personal favorites leaned heavily toward the crisp whites, sparkling wines and Rosé, every variety showcased thoughtful balance and smooth drinkability. If you've been skeptical about canned wine like I was, Archer Roose might just change your mind too.

Jared Leto has earned himself quite a reputation for his intense on-set behavior. When Margot Robbie learned she would be playing Harley Quinn to Leto's Joker in 2016's Suicide Squad, she started to become concerned about how he would treat her.

“When I first heard that he was method and that we couldn’t refer to him as Jared and things like that, I started to panic a bit because I’m in an abusive relationship with this guy who thinks he is the character,” Robbie told Slash Film. “I was worried I’d get beat up on set.”

The Wuthering Heights star noted that Leto was ultimately “really lovely” and “respectful, professional and incredible to watch”.

“He’s very conscientious on set,” Robbie added. “He’s not completely lost in the character that he’s violent or anything. Between every take he asks if I’m okay.”

Rumors surrounded the set of Suicide Squad, predominantly about the madcap antics Leto performed. Margot Robbie commented, per The Independent, on the unusual gifts she had received when making the DC film: “I can’t even begin to tell you the weird things I got. By that point, I kind of felt like I knew the Joker bit, so it wasn’t as alarming.”

It was reported in 2016 during production that the Masters of the Universeactor had given the Australian a surprise package that included a live rat. She told GQ at the time that she kept the rat as a pet. “I ended up getting him like a sweet little playpen,” she said.

Viola Davis was less enamored with the animal. She recalled Robbie receiving the gift, “Now I’m terrified just as a person thinking, ‘Is he crazy?’ But the second part was, ‘Oh s---, I’ve got to have my stuff together.’ You talk about commitment. And then he sends Margot Robbie a black rat, that was still alive in a box. She screamed, and then she kept it.”

This later evolved into an urban myth that she was gifted a dead rat by the Oscar winner. The Dallas Buyers Club actor later said that as a vegan, he would never do that.

“I never gave Margot Robbie a dead rat,” he clarified, per Complex. “I actually gave her—I found this place in Toronto that had great vegan cinnamon buns, and that was a very common thing.”

The Independent also reports that Will Smith confirmed that he was sent a condom by Leto and that his reaction was that he thought “Jared has gone full Joker”.

Leto admitted to Entertainment Weekly that he did give some wacky presents but all with the best intentions. “Any of the very few gifts that were ever given were given with a spirit of fun and adventure and received with laughter, fun, and adventure.”

Let's be real: You've probably heard that diet is important for heart health. It often centers around what not to eat—think saturated fat and super-sugary foods. But what does diet have to do with blood pressure specifically?

A lot, actually, say dietitians who work with patients with cardiovascular disease and hypertension.

"Diet matters because our blood pressure is strongly influenced by the minerals, sodium and fiber we eat every day, along with the types of fat we eat regularly," says Dr. Lauri Wright, Ph.D., MS, RDN, a registered dietitian and associate professor with USF Health. "Sodium can pull extra fluid into the bloodstream, raising pressure inside blood vessels. Over time, extra pressure makes the heart work harder and increases our risk of heart disease, stroke and kidney disease."

For this reason, the American Heart Association recommends limiting salt to 2,300 mg per day (ideally 1,500 mg). Wright says the DASH diet is a great option if you're trying to eat your way to stable blood pressure.

"It emphasizes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, low-fat dairy, fish and poultry, and limits sodium, added sugars and saturated fat," she explains.

Unfortunately, many dinners aren't blood pressure-friendly, in large part because they are packed with salt.

"Americans are looking for convenience at dinner, often using processed foods such as prepared meats, boxed and prepared noodles or rice, canned vegetables or condiments that can add a lot of extra salt," Julia Zumpano, RD, a Cleveland Clinic registered dietitian, tells Parade.

She adds that other time-savers—like frozen, pre-prepared meals and drive-thru menus—are also high in salt. Yet, it's possible to make an easy dinner that supports blood pressure. To help, registered dietitians share their favorite dinner recipe to lower blood pressure and how to keep it heart-friendly.

The Best Dinner To Eat To Lower Blood Pressure

According to four nutrition experts, the best dinner to lower blood pressure is a plate of salmon, spinach and sweet potatoes. It contains healthy fats, vitamins and minerals that support blood pressure management. "I call spinach, salmon and sweet potatoes the heart-smart trio," Dr. Wright says.

"Spinach and sweet potatoes are vegetables that are full of fiber and potassium," says Dr. Elizabeth Klingbeil, Ph.D., RDN, an assistant professor at the University of Texas-Austin and a national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. "Salmon is a protein that is full of healthy unsaturated fats. They can be prepared with little salt and still have plenty of flavor."

Zumpano adds that, despite their high nutrient density, spinach, salmon and sweet potatoes don't require much meal preparation. You can have dinner in under 30 minutes.

Of course, preparation still matters, and even this dinner can become unfriendly toward your blood pressure. Johannah Katz, RD, a dietitian from Consumer Health Digest, says it's best to keep it simple (music to a busy person's ears, right?).

"Bake, grill or air-fry the salmon instead of frying it," Katz says. "Season it with garlic, lemon, herbs, paprika, pepper, vinegar or salt-free or minimal salt seasoning blends."

She also suggests opting for fresh or frozen spinach without salty sauces and roasting or baking the sweet potato. Avoid loading it with butter, salt or bacon.

"The goal is not bland food," she insists. "The goal is big flavor from herbs, citrus, spices, garlic, vinegar and healthy fats instead of relying mostly on salt."

Why 4 RDs Love This Dinner for Blood Pressure

Salmon, spinach and sweet potatoes team up to support your blood pressure right away and in the long term. Let's start with the meat: The salmon.

"Salmon is one of the best foods for heart health because it's rich in omega-3 fatty acids," Zumpano says. "It's a good source of high-quality protein, potassium, selenium and vitamin D."

Within a few weeks of consistently eating this dinner, salmon's omega-3s will help relax the blood vessels and improve blood flow, she explains. You may also notice improvements in inflammation and triglycerides, a blood fat linked to heart disease.

There are also long-term benefits that can develop over months or years, and Zumpano says they include

• Significantly lower triglycerides
• Reduced heart attack and stroke risk
• Slower plaque buildup in the arteries
• Increased arterial flexibility and blood vessel function
• Reduced chronic inflammation

Katz points out that sweet potatoes have fiber and serve as complex carbohydrates, but her favorite part? "For blood pressure, the potassium is the big reason I like them."

She points out that even the World Health Organization recommends increasing potassium intake through food to reduce blood pressure and cardiovascular risk. You'll see the best results from potassium-rich foods if you consume them regularly for months or years, but sweet potatoes also give some quicker benefits.

"Short term, they can make the plate more satisfying and help replace salty sides like fries, chips, boxed rice mixes or heavily seasoned packaged potatoes," Katz notes.

Spinach is also rich in potassium, plus it boasts magnesium.

"These two minerals help blood vessels relax, and they also support healthy blood pressure," Dr. Wright tells Parade. "Spinach and other leafy greens contain natural plant nitrates, which help open blood vessels."

Boosting your potassium and magnesium intake within a few weeks is a great start, which she says will support your blood pressure, heart health and overall diet quality over time.

3 More Great Dinners That Support Blood Pressure

Salmon, sweet potatoes and spinach contain healthy fats, potassium, fiber and nitrates that can help you keep blood pressure in check. Yet, if this dinner isn't your jam, you have other options. Registered dietitians share three extra helpings of great dinners to support blood pressure.

• Turkey or bean chili with tomatoes, peppers and avocado. Dr. Wright loves this one because it's hearty and familiar. She suggests opting for low-sodium beans and tomatoes. "Beans add potassium, magnesium and fiber, which are all key DASH-style nutrients," she says.
• Brown rice, herb-roasted chicken breast, roasted asparagus with a salt-free spice blend and olive oil. Dr. Klingbeil says that this dinner is low in saturated fat and sodium but loaded with fiber and lean protein.
• Pasta Primavera with whole-grain or bean pasta, tossed in extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, basil, chickpeasand roasted vegetables. Some of Zumpano's go-to veggies for this dinner include zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, onions and carrots. "This is a great meatless meal option that packs a lot of plant protein, which is linked to lower blood pressure values, and fiber for digestive support and bowel regulation," she says. "[It also has] potassium and is naturally low in sodium but full of flavor."
