Chase Stokes Debuts Back Tattoo Weeks After Kelsea Ballerini Split: 'They Will Judge Us By Our Fruit'

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:42pm

Chase Stokes is starting fresh with some new ink following his recent split from longtime girlfriendKelsea Ballerini.

The Outer Banks star, 33, took to social media on Thursday (March 12) to debut a back tattoo featuring a cryptic quote about being judged. In the photo shared on his Instagram Stories, the phrase "they will judge us by our fruit" could be seen written in a delicate script font at the base of his neck.

Stokes didn't specify how he related to the quote but he did tag Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Winterstone, writing, "My brother, thank you. LA friends, give him a shout."

Stokes has a number of other tattoos across his body, including a playing card, dice and a heart dedicated to his mom, all on his arm. Before his split with Ballerini, the former couple also got matching tattoos dedicated to their shared star sign, Virgo.

Ballerini made the revelation during a 2023 appearance on the Call Her Daddypodcast. She explained that she used to really "resent [her] 'Virgo-ness'" but the couple decided to embrace their star sign.

"To me, it was like a control freak—just needing power in a lot of situations in relationships," Ballerini shared. "He's a Virgo too. He and I have like really allowed ourselves to love that part of ourselves and each other. Just the need to communicate well and be loyal—and planning is not a bad thing when it's like for the right things—all those things. It's just like a thing that kind of defines us.”

At the time, the singer joked that the pair couldn't split because of the shared ink, saying, "Well now I spilled it on here that we have matching tattoos, so we can’t break up."

Unfortunately, in February 2026 sources shared that the on-and-off couple had officially called it quits.

As of now, neither Stokes nor Ballerini have spoken out about the end of their relationship.

7 Major Network TV Shows That Could Still Be Canceled in 2026

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:37pm

Many of the networks have already begun giving renewals to their top-rated series for the 2026-2027 season, but there are always a few shows that are considered on the “bubble” and the future of those shows often depends on what’s on the development slate that could fill their timeslot.

Here’s a look at the broadcast shows that have yet to be picked up with an educated guess as to their future, whether they will get a pickup or if they are in jeopardy of being cancelled. The final word from ABC, FOX and NBC will come this May during the upfront presentations. CBS, though, is moving up its reveal of its 2026–27 schedule to Wednesday, April 15.

Below is Parade’s status report on the series that have yet to be given the green light for the 2026-2027 season.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

ABC

ABC has already given pickups to four of its series: 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville, Abbott Elementary and High Potential, so that leaves several in limbo.

Grey’s Anatomy: With its outstanding run, Grey’s is a sure bet to get another season.

RJ Decker: With only a handful of episodes having aired, it's too soon to predict.

The Rookie: Another sure bet.

Scrubs: Again, not enough episodes have aired to make for a definitive prediction.

Shifting Gears: This is also a pretty sure bet.

Will Trent: Without a doubt, it will be back.

CBS

CBS has renewed the majority of its series, including The Amazing Race
Boston Blue
, Elsbeth, FBI, Fire Country, Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding, Ghosts
Marshals, Matlock, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, Sheriff Country, Survivor and
Tracker.

That only leaves CIA, DMV and Watson.

CIA: CIA is new to the CBS schedule, so it’s too soon to expect a pickup. But as it is a Dick Wolf series, it’s outlook is good.

DMV:DMV has two strikes against it. First, its companion comedy, The Neighborhood, wrapped up its run, so there isn’t a comedy to pair it with at this point in time. That said, its numbers may not warrant a pickup, despite consistent ratings in the 2-plus-million range.

Watson: With so many of its scripted dramas already having gotten the greenlight, and two new shows — Cupertino and Einstein – in the wings, it’s not looking good for Watson. It also doesn’t help that it’s the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.

FOX

Like CBS, FOX isn’t leaving much to the imagination as it has renewed the majority of its broadcast shows: American Dad, Animal Control, Best Medicine, Bob’s Burgers, Doc, Family Guy, The Floor, Krapopolis, The Simpsons and Universal Basic Guys.

FOX has also picked up two new shows for next season: The Interrogator, a Stephen Fry-led spy drama, and its Baywatch sequel, so something will need to be canceled to make room.

That just leaves these four series:

Going Dutch:
As the lowest-ranking live-action series on FOX,  Going Dutch’s chances of renewal are slim.

Grimsburg: Grimsburg was renewed for a third season last May, and since those episodes haven’t aired yet, it’s too soon to predict a fourth season.

Memory of a Killer: It’s unclear at this point in time. But the show has been performing well for a new drama, so there’s a good chance it will see a second season.

Murder in a Small Town:
The odds are in favor of a pickup.

NBC

NBC has been the slowest of the networks to hand out pickups for the 2026-2027 season. To date, it has only given renewals to Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical.

Brilliant Minds: The fact that NBC pulled Brilliant Minds from its Monday night lineup with its remaining six episodes not scheduled to air until Wednesday, May 27 at 8 p.m. ET., it is a good indication that it can be considered cancelled.

Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD: The #OneChicago shows are a shoe-in to get another season.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins: Too soon for the verdict to be in.

The Hunting Party: There isn’t a lot of hope for The Hunting Party as the majority of NBC’s hourlong slots are already filled and there are fewer of them since the addition of more sports programming. NBC has three drama series in development: a Rockford Files reboot, Protection, and an untitled criminal profiler drama led by Emily Deschanel. It is looking likely that one of these will replace The Hunting Party.

Law & Orderand Law & Order: SVU: There’s no doubt that these two will get another year.

Stumble: The future for Stumble is diminishing. The half-hour comedy hasn’t been able to draw an audience on Friday nights, and it isn’t getting a much-needed boost from streaming numbers to help it out.

Nancy Guthrie Update: 'Prime-Time Rapist' Terrorized Same Tucson, Ariz., Neighborhood 40 Years Before

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:27pm

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing nearly six weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—but 40 years before her disappearance, a "Prime-Time Rapist" terrorized the same Catalina Foothills neighborhood.

Nancy Guthrie's Neighbor Brought Up the Prime Time Rapist in Tucson

In a March 9 episode of the Brian Entin Investigates podcast, the NewsNation correspondent interviewed a woman named Aldine, who lives near Nancy in Tucson.

"In 1985-86, there was a big Tucson case. It was called the Prime-Time Rapist," she explained. "And he would, unfortunately, assault women at primetime TV hours."

One of the women who was assaulted, Aldine said, lived in her current home. The neighbor pointed out how "weird" it was that Nancy's kidnapping happened on the same street.

The Prime-Time Rapist Terrorized Tucson, Ariz., in the '80s

The "Prime-Time Rapist" began sporadically attacking women in 1983, “often in the wealthy Catalina Foothills area north of the city,” The Arizona Republic reported. In March and May 1986, the man raped women and teenage girls in two homes and tied up other members of the families. The perpetrator also forced the husbands to withdraw money from their bank accounts.

Following the two 1986 attacks, the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) offered a $10,000 reward. Fear of the Prime-Time Rapist prompted an increase in sales of security doors, guns, and deadbolt locks among Tucson residents, in addition to self-defense classes.

Was the Prime-Time Rapist Ever Caught? Who Was He?

The PCSD arrested a man in May 1986, but it turned out to be the wrong person. He later sued the department, ultimately accepting a $550,000 settlement.

In September 1986, investigators reportedly found the actual Prime-Time Rapist, Brian Fredrick Larriva. However, he shot himself as they closed in to arrest him. Larriva reportedly "muttered something about being sorry," per The Arizona Republic, before dying by suicide. Clarence Dupnik, the sheriff in Pima County at the time, said evidence tied the man to 13 of the suspected 35 attacks, with a motive to fund his cocaine habit.

1966 Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 60 Years Ago Today

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:24pm

Sixty years ago today, the Walker Brothers, an iconic rock band of the 1960s, topped the U.K. charts with their hit single, "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore."

The track, a cover of the 1965 original by Frankie Valli, was released as the lead single for their sophomore album of the same name. Following its debut, it found immediate success on both sides of the Atlantic, entering the charts in the U.S. and the U.K. It achieved its most significant milestone on the U.K. Singles Chart, where it held the No. 1 spot for four consecutive weeks, while peaking at No. 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Produced by Johnny Franz via Smash Records in the U.S. and Philips in the U.K., the track is recognizable for its lush orchestral sound. "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" seamlessly incorporates dense orchestration and baritone vocals, making for a stunning "Wall of Sound" inspired production. The polished ballad garnered notoriety for its sophisticated pop sound, earning it widespread commercial success and critical acclaim.

Scott Walker, Gary Leeds and John Maus of the Walker Brothers perform 'No Regrets' on a German TV show in 1975.

Ellen Poppinga - K & K/Redferns

Following its release, the single sold over one million copies worldwide, attesting to its stellar sound. Its popularity marked it the most successful version of the song.

"The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" was originally written by the songwriting duo Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio—who were famous for their work with the Four Seasons. The track explores the profound heartache that follows a failed relationship. The lyricism highlights metaphors about the sun not rising to emphasize the dark places people can go after a break up. Lead vocalist Scott Walker carries this sentiment throughout the piece with his deep, emotive vocal performance.

Despite being released six decades ago, the song perseveres as a timeless breakup anthem. Modern audiences continue to connect with the song through digital streaming platforms. On Spotify alone, the track has garnered nearly 30 million streams, attesting to its enduring legacy and a classic '60s masterpiece.

'Brack to the Future' and 'Hoop, There It Is'—We've Got 75 Funny NCAA March Madness Bracket Names

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:18pm

After the Super Bowl, there always seems to be a lull in exciting sports events. Professional basketball, hockey and golf are still going, but they are in their regular season play, so it's just the "same old, same old."

But once March hits, it's like a unicorn sprinkled some magical happy dust among the country, and lo and behold, March Madness emerges. Below, we've got plenty of funny March Madness bracket names to inspire you.

We are just days away from the start of the college basketball playoffs, with the First Four games on Tuesday, March 17. Over 10 million people will catch "bracket fever" and go "mad" watching events unfold. Could this be the year that their team makes it all the way? Maybe a new Cinderella story is in the making?

I remember my first Cinderella story: 1999's Gonzaga Bulldogs making it to the Elite 8. I had never really watched college basketball and didn’t know anything about any of the teams, but I was still fascinated enough to participate in the office bracket contest.

I liked the name Gonzaga, and no one else was picking them, so I picked them to go to the Final Four (oh, so close!). And with all that drama and the $100 I won from the most winning bracket (rookie luck), I was HOOOOOKED!

Over the past two years, I have been naming my bracket, too. The names that people are coming up with are EPIC and will only add to the fun of watching the tournament. One of the best has to be "Full Metal Bracket."

But I am going out on my own this time
and what will it be, you ask? Let's just say it will be one of the following 75 fantastically fun NCAA bracket names listed below.

Columbia’s $35 Corduroy Shacket Is the Perfect Layer for Unpredictable Spring Weather

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:15pm

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

When spring arrives, getting dressed can feel like a bit of a guessing game. Mornings can start off chilly enough to wear a jacket, afternoons warm up quickly in the sun, and by evening, a cool breeze can roll in again. With that kind of hour-by-hour unpredictability, bulky winter coats are overkill, but stepping out in just a light cardigan or long-sleeve tee doesn’t always provide enough warmth either. It’s exactly why transitional layers are the real heroes of a spring wardrobe. Pieces like shackets — part shirt, part jacket — offer that sweet spot of lightweight warmth without feeling heavy or restrictive.

Right now, the Blue Point Creek Short Corduroy Shirt Jacket at Columbia is just $35, marked down from $80 for a 56% savings. It’s the kind of easy, in-between jacket that’s perfect for days when the weather changes in the blink of an eye.

This shacket blends classic utilitarian style with everyday comfort. It features a slightly cropped, boxy silhouette that hits around the high hip, giving it that relaxed, throw-on-and-go feel that still looks structured. A classic point collar and full snap-front closure keep the look timeless, while long sleeves with snap cuffs make it easy to roll up to the elbow or leave down.

Functional details add practicality, too. Snap-flap chest pockets can secure your essentials, while vertical side pockets give your hands a cozy spot or a place to stash a phone or keys. Sturdy topstitching, structured seams, and a straight hem give the jacket shape and durability, and the ribbed corduroy brings just enough warmth and texture for crisp spring days.

Six colors are currently on sale, with sizes ranging from XS to XL, so it’s easy to find the perfect fit and shade to add to your wardrobe.

Those who’ve snagged this “very comfortable” shacket have raved about it in the reviews section. “The corduroy material feels soft and high quality, and it’s great for layering on cooler days. It’s stylish, versatile, and easy to pair with different outfits,” one shopper wrote.

Others also highlighted its wearability, with another reviewer adding that it can be “dressed up or down” and “goes with almost anything.”

Cyndi Lauper’s Son Avoids Prison for Gun Charges but Shows off His $10,000 Jacket in Court

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 6:06pm

Declyn "Dex" Lauper, the son of legendary '80s pop star Cyndi Lauper, will not serve any prison time related to a 2024 gun charge.

Lauper, 72, rose to stardom in the '80s as an MTV staple with hit songs like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "Time After Time," and "She Bop." With a slew of awards under her belt, the beloved star continues to perform to this day. But for her son, Dex, 29, things have gotten a bit more complicated as he appeared in court on Friday to face charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

During his court appearance, Dex wore a $10,000 Louis Vuitton jacket, the publication continued. In a video, Lauper stated his luxury wear cost “10 Gs” as he passed through metal detectors, the New York Post reported.

Lucky for Dex, the aspiring musician received one year of interim probation for the bust, which came when cops found a gun on him after a friend was shot in the leg in Upper Manhattan on Feb. 7, 2024.

If convicted, Lauper would face up to seven years in prison on the firearms charge. However, his plea deal requires him to receive substance abuse treatment and remain arrest-free for one year.

What Happened When Dex Lauper Got Arrested?

When Lauper was initially arrested on gun possession charges back in 2024, he attempted to use his mother's celebrity to get out of trouble, a previous New York Post article stated.

“I grew up, my mom is Cyndi Lauper, Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” Lauper allegedly told a detective, the Post shared.

Was Cyndi Lauper's Mother in Her Music Video?

When it comes to parenting, eagle-eyed fans may remember that Lauper's own mother, Catrine, appeared in one of her most legendary music videos, 1983's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."

When her mother passed away at age 91 in 2002, Lauper honored her in a touching Instagram post.

View this post on Instagram

"My beautiful Mom has passed," Lauper wrote. "She rocked and wrestled with us and was in a lot of my videos. It was an honor to work with her. I feel so lucky that I got to play with my mom throughout my life, both as a girl and as a woman. She may have left this world, but not without leaving her mark," concluded the note. "Thank you, Mom. I love you."

Nancy Guthrie Update: FBI Questions Mexican Restaurant Workers Where She Filmed 'Today' Segment

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:48pm

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing, going on six weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a retired FBI agent weighed in on why no one has come forward with information to claim the reward money.

In a March 11 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, the NewsNation correspondent brought up a recent feature on the NBC morning show of Savannah and her 84-year-old mother at several locations in Tucson.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Entin explained, "[Investigators] even went back to some of the places they visited, like the Mexican restaurant. And I was told that the FBI has even been there, sort of investigating because they went there as part of that segment."

He continued, "At the Mexican restaurant, they were telling me that the FBI came by and said, you know, was there anyone here who looked suspicious when Savannah was here filming with her mom? Anyone who wanted to take pictures, or who got angry, or who was lingering around in a creepy way? So I know that that was part of the investigation."

In November 2025, Savannah returned to her hometown to highlight a number of places and people in Tucson. Among them was El Charro, the oldest family-owned Mexican restaurant in the country, where Savannah grabbed a meal with Nancy and her sister, Annie Guthrie. The eatery is owned by Carlotta Flores and was founded by her great-aunt, Monica Flin, in 1922.

There, the Today co-anchor asked her mother what drew her to settling down in Tucson. "It's so wonderful," Nancy replied, "Just the air, the quality of life. It's laid back and gentle."

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on Jan. 31, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department launching its search for her on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspects have been named, and Savannah's mom remained missing despite a $1 million reward.

‘Dynasty: The Murdochs’: The ‘80s Shows Tied to Rupert Murdoch’s Success

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:32pm

The business drama of the Murdoch family was fictionalized in Succession. HBO wondered how a powerful media family would handle passing on the corporation to the next generation.

Netflix now focuses on the real people behind the characters in the documentary mini-series, Dynasty: The Murdochs. It also explained how scripted shows helped his political goals.

The first episode showed how the Australian news mogul bought American papers and then got close to political figures. The documentary said President Ronald Reagan eased the rule preventing anyone from owning a newspaper and a news network in the same area for Murdoch. He then got to work making content for conservatives.

"The three networks did the same thing," journalist Kara Swisher said. "They offered the same hot dog. And these guys were like, 'Time for hamburgers.'" She later said, "There was nothing like it. The comedy shows had the snarkiness and attitude." That tone is similar to Murdoch's papers, like the New York Post's headlines. There was a montage of TV shows.

The Simpsons was shown, and it premiered in 1989. The cartoon focuses on a violent and chaotic nuclear family. Murdoch voiced the character based on himself in "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday" and "Judge Me Tender."

The miniseries showed that 21 Jump Street ran on Fox from 1987 to 1991. A young group of police officers worked undercover with Johnny Depp, Dustin Nguyen, Holly Robinson Pete, Peter DeLuise, and Steven Williams. The franchise returned to movie theaters with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hillas the leads.

A Married...With Children clip shows Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) making fun of his wife, Peggy (Katey Sagal) then taking a picture of another woman's butt. The sitcom aired from 1987 to 1997.

In Living Color's David Alan Grier and Keenan Ivory Wayans doing their sketch "Men on Films." They played gay film reviewers constantly making double entendres.

The Tracey Ullman Show, Mr. President, and Werewolf weren't mentioned in the documentary, but were also on the lineup. Fox News started in 1996, boosted by the financial success of these shows.

Dynasty: The Murdochs is currently available to stream on Netflix.

White Bald Eagle Captured in Extremely Rare Photos

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:25pm

Recently shared photographs of a rare white bald eagle, taken by wildlife photographer Terry Nunn, are turning heads and going viral, and these stunning photos weren't exactly an easy get for the photographer either.

Whether you're an avid or amateur birder—or you've been obsessed with Jackie and Shadow's Big Bear Bald Eagle livestreams since the pandemic—this recent capture of a rare white bald eagle in Southwest Missouri will have you aghast.

Nunn, who's owner of Terry Nunn Photography, talks about the dedication it took to finally capture the “Ghost of the Ozarks."

"No guarantees. No shortcuts. Just patience," he writes on Instagram. "Every encounter with her feels rare," he says. "Quiet. Intentional. The kind of wildlife moment you don’t take for granted."

Nunn tells Parade, "I actually made 13 trips over there trying to photograph that eagle and most of the time it was between 300 and 400 yards on private land. The last 3 trips [the eagle] came closer to me and I was able to get the better shots."

"When she launched into flight, everything slowed down and sped up at the same time," Nunn tells Parade about the moment he got his chance. "Heart pounding. Fingers trembling. Trying to stay steady enough to do the moment justice. Somehow, through the nerves and adrenaline, I captured some of the best shots of my photography journey with this eagle."

Chill-inducing, truly!

Now ... behold this beautiful leucistic bald eagle:

Nunn shares more of his photos and experience in a few social posts:

In case you're wondering, too, leucism is different than albinism, according to Treehugger, as it results in a "reduction in all types of pigments, not just melanin, so an animal with leucism may either have pale or muted colors or irregular patches of white."

If you're fortunate enough to have seen a bald eagle IRL, you're already one of the lucky ones (and it might even have a spiritual meaning). But today, it's "binoculars up" to Terry Nunn for sharing his special capture.

1974 Album Is Named Jackson Browne’s Best of All Time

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:14pm

It’s hard to construct a playlist of the best music the 1970s had to offer without including Jackson Browne. One of the most successful and revered singer-songwriters of the decade, Browne is known for deeply personal lyrics—“Doctor, my eyes have seen the years / And the slow parade of fears without crying”—and thoughtful social commentary showcased through a distinctive blend of rock and folk music that makes his songs unmistakably his own.

Jackson Browne’s more than five-decade career helped define the Southern California sound that dominated the 1970s folk-rock music genre. Browne’s catalog of hits, from “Doctor My Eyes” to “Somebody’s Baby,” dominated the ’70s and ’80s charts, leading to a parade of memorable songs from the iconic music star. Now, the online music destination American Songwriter is naming Jackson Browne’s best album of all time.

Jackson Browne’s Rise as a Singer-Songwriter

With a catalog of albums that includes Running on Empty, The Pretender, and Hold Out, choosing Browne’s top album is no easy task. After starting his career in the 1960s writing songs for artists including The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and later Warren Zevon, Jackson Browne released his self-titled debut in 1972, introducing his introspective style.

Browne’s debut album contained the hit “Doctor My Eyes” and established him as one of the leading voices in the emerging singer-songwriter movement that defined the 1970s.

Why Late for the Sky Stands Above the Rest

Browne’s 1974 release Late for the Sky, however, is American Songwriter’s pick for the very best Jackson Browne album of all time. Here’s why:

“Is this ever a brutally difficult choice? The debut album suffers a bit because of the murkiness of the sound. Meanwhile, The Pretender might have the opposite problem in that it’s too chipper. Running On Empty sticks pretty heavily to one topic throughout, even though it exhausts every bit of insight from it. For our money, you just can’t top Late For The Sky, a gorgeous, bittersweet triumph whose relevance and potency never seem to fade.”

American Songwriter’s take on Browne’s best all-time album is shared by many. Late for the Skyis often considered the singer’s artistic peak, though some suggest Jackson Browne never truly peaked and instead continued to build on his own work throughout his career.

Late for the Sky features deeply reflective songwriting and songs including “Fountain of Sorrow,” which was released as a single and is often cited as a key track from the album; “For a Dancer,” which is regularly referenced as one of Jackson Browne’s best songs; and “Before the Deluge,” which closes the album and showcases Browne’s socially conscious songwriting.

Late for the Sky Track List
  1. LATE FOR THE SKY
  2. FOUNTAIN OF SORROW
  3. FARTHER ON
  4. THE LATE SHOW
  5. THE ROAD AND THE SKY
  6. FOR A DANCER
  7. WALKING SLOW
  8. BEFORE THE DELUGE
Jackson Browne’s Lasting Legacy

Jackson Browne’s impact and influence continue to this day. Still touring regularly, Browne’s latest album Downhill from Everywhere addressed environmental concerns while continuing to showcase the thoughtful songwriting style that has defined his career.

Jackson Browne’s songs helped define a generation of music, inspire a legacy of singer-songwriters, and set him apart as one of the most revered singer-songwriters in American folk-rock history, with an influence that is still felt today.

Serena Williams Looks More Svelte Than Ever in New Bathing Suit Snaps After Dropping 31 Pounds

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:13pm

Serena Williams knows how to set Instagram on fire!

The former professional tennis player and Olympic gold medalist, 44, took to Instagram to share a series of stunning bathing suit photos that showed her looking more svelte than ever. With her long, blonde hair done in tight curls, the iconic athlete wore a cozy pink robe and fuzzy slippers falling off her toned body. The green, one-piece bathing suit highlighted the tennis star's physique, which has gotten significantly slimmer since last year with her announcement that she lost 31 pounds using a GLP-1 medication.

Williams, who has two daughters, Alexis Olympia, 8, and Adira, 2, with husband Alexis Ohanian, shared a message in the caption: "I am not perfect
.but I’m perfectly me. Take out time today to celebrate being perfectly you! 💋."

Is Serena Williams a Paid Ambassador for a Weight Loss Medication?

Williams partnered with the telehealth company Ro as a patient and celebrity ambassador to lose the 31 pounds after struggling with losing weight after the birth of her second child. Her husband, Ohanian, is an investor in the company. He is also the co-founder of Reddit.

Has Serena Williams Struggled With Her Mental Health?

Last year, Williams appeared to be struggling a bit when she posted a cryptic message to social media about focusing on her mental health. While the tennis icon looked stunning in a series of photos that featured her in a red silk dress in a library, the caption was a bit more mysterious.

“Dearest gentle reader, My summer started out well but I was plunged into a difficult August. Like many of you, I faced challenges that tested my spirit and resilience. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters—your mental health and well-being. I took some time away to breathe, to reconnect with myself, and to remember that it’s perfectly okay to pause and reconnect. Even if it’s just a quiet night to yourself. Anything counts,” she wrote in the caption.

She went on to say that she “learned that the end of a matter is better than its beginning. And even though things haven’t reached their end yet, I’m also learning to let go and live life one moment at a time. The only thing I’m dealing with in this moment here is how good this dress looks against first editions.”

Beloved Show Canceled by NBC After Nearly 30 Years on the Air

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 5:13pm

Access Hollywood is coming to an end after nearly 30 years, NBCUniversal has confirmed.

Along with the entertainment news show hosted by Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans and Zuri Hall, NBCUniversal has also decided to cancel Access Live, Karamo and The Steve Wilkos Show as the company shifts its first-run syndicated programming strategy.

All four of the series will continue airing new episodes through the summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Access Hollywood and Access Live are still in production, while Karamo and The Steve Wilkos Show have already completed filming.

“NBCUniversal is making changes to our first-run syndication division to better align with the programming preferences of local stations,” Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock unscripted for NBCUniversal, said in a Friday, March 13, statement. “The company will remain active in the distribution of our existing program library and other off-network titles, while winding down production of our first-run shows. These shows have provided audiences with great talk and entertainment content for many years and we’re very proud of the teams behind them.”

Access Hollywood premiered in September 1996. Hoover, 55, has been an anchor on the show since 2010, while Lopez, 52, Evans, 39, and Hall, 37, have been in their roles since 2019.

Access Hollywood is the latest entertainment news program to be cancelled after E! News ended in September 2025 following 34 years on the air. Similar shows Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition—both of which are syndicated by CBS—and Extra remain in production.

Entertainment Tonight, anchored by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, has been airing since September 1981, while Inside Edition, hosted by Eva Pilgrim, has been on since January 1989. The Warner Bros. syndicated series Extra, helmed by Derek Hough, has been around since September 1994.

As for NBCUniversal’s other cancellations, Karamo—the daytime talk show hosted by Queer Eye alum Karamo Brown—began airing in September 2022.

The Steve Wilkos Show is a spinoff of Jerry Springer, on which host Steve Wilkos previously served as the director of security. Wilkos’ talk show premiered in September 2007 shortly after he departed Jerry Springer.

NBCUniversal’s latest cancellations follow the company’s announcement in February that The Kelly Clarkson Show will end after its current seventh season. The syndicated daytime talk show has since continued production, with plans to air new episodes through the fall.

While host Kelly Clarkson said in a statement at the time that it was “not an easy decision” to conclude the show, she noted that “stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”

News of Clarkson’s exit came after the August 2025 death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shared daughter River, 11, and son Remy, 9. Blackstock died of melanoma—a form of skin cancer—at the age of 48.

'60s Music Legend Ranked 'Greatest Rock Lead Singer' of All Time

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 4:58pm

Being recognized as the best of the best in rock music is no small feat. Among the many iconic artists to emerge from the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s, and even the ’90s, only one frontman of an era-defining rock band has earned the title of “Greatest Rock Lead Singer of All Time."

Billboard comprised a list of the top 50 greatest lead singers who, by their standards, "elevated their bands to stratospheric heights, and inspired entire generations of vocalists to follow in the paths they blazed." Without these frontmen, the bands whose music has blasted from speakers for decades wouldn’t have reached the level of fame they enjoy today.

In the No. 1 spot is none other than The Rolling Stones' founding member and lead singer, Mick Jagger. Having started the legendary band in early '60s London, Jagger has often been tagged with being the most influential frontman in rock music history, pioneering the gritty, rhythmically driven sound that fans now associate with hard rock.

"After so many years, Mick Jagger continues to personify not only the Rolling Stones but rock’n’roll itself– powerfully sexual, threatening, liberating and joyous, all at once," said Billboard in their ranking.

Jagger's distinctive voice, on-stage charisma, and ability to develop hit songs alongside Keith Richards became the band's trademark. He and the band found success early on with their Billboard Hot 100 debut in 1964 with “Not Fade Away” and hits like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Get Off of My Cloud," and "Paint It Black."

While the band itself gained prominence, Jagger himself became an icon and inspiration to countless other era-defining frontmen in the genre. Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Van Halen's David Lee Roth, and Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose all credited Jagger with influencing their stage power-driven and flamboyant presence.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard list wasStevie Nicks whose described as effortlessly "enchanting" and having commanded every room and stage she walked into. The top five also included Queen'sFreddie Mercury, Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, and Nirvana's Kurt Cobain.

‘The Pitt’ Star Supriya Ganesh Explains Mohan’s Panic Attack and Her ‘Uncomfortable Truce’ With Robby (Exclusive)

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 4:20pm

July 4th has been a rough day for Samira Mohan (Supriya Ganesh) on The Pitt, to say the least. As a fourth-year resident, Robby (Noah Wyle) is looking to her as a source of leadership at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. But it's clear from the premiere that Mohan has other things on her mind, and it manifests in a major way in Episode 10 of Season 2.

Throughout the season, Mohan has had trouble staying in the present. Instead, she's thinking about what form of medicine she wants to go into from the seemingly endless options. She's doing everything she can to make sure uninsured patient Orlando Diaz (William Guirola) gets the treatment he needs to avoid another case of diabetic shock. And she's also reconciling the fact that her mother is uprooting their lives, selling her house to go on a cruise with a new boyfriend. And she gets a constant reminder of the latter through recurring phone calls from home throughout the day. Fans of the HBO Max medical drama knew, at some point, something had to break with Dr. Mohan.

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

And it did. While checking out a patient alongside Joy (Irene Choi), Mohan suddenly began to sweat profusely. Her breath grew short, and her chest began to tighten. She stumbled out to the waiting area, where things continued to mount. Seeing she was taking a turn for the worse, Joy mobilized quickly, getting her in a wheelchair and back into the E.D. She then got the rare doctor-on-doctor treatment, as both Langdon (Patrick Ball) and Robby attended to her, fearing a heart attack.

The good news: Mohan suffered a panic attack, and is in no clear sign of danger. The bad news: Robby's own mounting issues from the day cause her to snap after finding this out.

"Wait a minute," he says. "Is this a panic attack because of your mommy issues? Do you need to go home? I don't need the f—king liability. Go home." Mohan is left mortified and, still shellshocked, returns to the patient she was treating by the end of the episode.

It's the latest beat in what has been a complicated relationship between Robby and Mohan on The Pitt so far. The Emmy-winning series opened with the senior attending calling her "Slo-Mo," chastising the time she took with patients. This interaction, on top of Mohan choosing to ask Abbot (Shawn Hatosy), not Robby, for a letter of recommendation, is a clear sign of where things stand between them.

So, when Parade got the chance to talk with Supriya Ganesh about Season 2, we had to get her thoughts on where Mohan and Robby stand.

"I think it's like an uncomfortable truce," the actress says. "It's very paternal in a way, especially if you have a complicated relationship with your dad. You're just on the edge of things going south. And I think especially with Robby, I think she wants him to offer, I don't think she feels comfortable asking him at all. She would hope that he got wind of it, and then somehow he offers. But I think she wouldn't want to ask. I think with Doctor Abbot, there's obviously more comfortability there."

"I think there's just some embarrassment there," she continues. "Because it's like your mom moved when you're like 30 and that's upending your life. It's really vulnerable for her to talk to people about it. So I think she needs to feel safe."

Related: ‘The Pitt’ Star Lucas Iverson Reacts to Intense Fan Backlash: ‘I’ve Been Surprised — in a Great Way’ (Exclusive)

For what it's worth, Robby does apologize for his behavior by the end of the episode. But perhaps another reason why everyone in the ED treated Mohan's panic attack so seriously is because of what happened in her own life, courtesy of the character's backstory provided by executive producer John Wells.

"Her father passed away because of a heart attack," Ganesh says. "He had chest pains, and Samira and her mom takes him to the E.R.. The E.R. people maybe didn't assess him correctly. They say it's fine, send him back home. And then he passes away from the heart attack."

Not only does that core memory serve as a grave reminder of Mohan's genetics. But, to Ganesh, it also is the reason behind her ardent, potentially overeager way of spending time with her patients.

"I think that's so much of what drives some is the fact that she lost her father because of mismanagement of care," she says. "There was definitely some sort of mismanagement and mismanagement of care that happened. And I think that that's something that drives her a lot, because she wants to make sure that doesn't happen to any other little girl."

'Outlander' Fans Shocked at Sudden & Brutal Demise of Character

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 4:06pm

SPOILER—This post includes spoilers from Outlander Season 8, Episode 2.

It was just a week ago that Outlander fans were reintroduced to Amy McCallum (Joanne Thomson). Only now she was Amy Lindsay, having married Evan Lindsay (Gary Lamont), who had also become stepdad to her two young kids, Aidan (Cillian McDonald) and Orrie (Ethan Chalmers). Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) were overjoyed to see her, especially after the difficulties she'd previously endured.

View this post on Instagram

That joy turned to sorrow when a bear showed up in Season 8, Episode 2 of the Starz series. Amy was picking berries with Brianna (Sophie Skelton), Rachel (Izzy Meikle-Small), and Lizzie (Caitlin O'Ryan) when it charged through the forest and attacked Amy. Despite Brianna shooting her gun at it, Amy was mortally wounded. She hung on long enough for Evan and her boys to say their goodbyes before she died. Viewers were shocked and devastated by the traumatic event, despite it taking up only five minutes of the episode.

"The Bear Attack!! Omg, they made the injury so realistic, it was horrible!" wrote a fan on the OutlanderReddit page.

Even those who had read the book the scene was taken from, Go Tell the Bees That I'm Gone, were surprised at how emotional they became.

"I knew what was coming for Amy and I still sobbed," wrote another fan.

However, others felt the attack wasn't very realistic, finding the scene more frustrating than sad.

"I mean, grizzlies are incredibly fast but this obviously wasn't that," wrote an annoyed viewer. "And yeah, this black bear just randomly decided to attack her for no reason?"

"Exactly my thoughts," another Redditor responded. "'Let me run forever through the woods and jump a human for no reason' -said no black bear ever."

We first met Amy in Season 6, Episode 1. She was a recent widow and mother of Aiden, a small child, and Orrie, an infant, and she'd just moved to the Ridge. As she struggled to manage her home and the boys, Roger (Richard Rankin) often came to help her with things she needed done. But when people started assuming they were having an affair, he introduced her to her future husband, Evan.

Nancy Guthrie Breaking Update: New Camera Footage Reportedly Uncovered, Source Calls it 'Odd'

Fri, 03/13/2026 - 3:47pm

Newly obtained surveillance footage from the home of Nancy Guthrie is drawing attention as investigators continue searching for answers in her disappearance. According to sources who spoke with ABC News, cameras positioned around the property reportedly captured "nothing suspicious" during the hours before Guthrie's disappearance.

Authorities have not publicly confirmed the details of the footage, but the apparent lack of unusual activity has prompted fresh questions about what may have happened that night.

The images, "recovered from...motion-activated cameras" covering the "swimming pool, backyard, and side yard," were limited to "reduced-size" thumbnails—no video—a source told ABC News.

Investigators were reportedly "able to observe several people" in Guthrie's yard in the period leading up to her disappearance. Then, there appears to be a gap before the next images show footage obtained the following day, when law enforcement officers were seen at Guthrie’s home.

One source described the apparent lack of activity on that night as "odd."

Previously, the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI released footage obtained from Guthrie's front door that was captured by her Google Nest doorbell. That footage showed an armed individual wearing a balaclava and carrying a backpack whom authorities believe may have had something to do with Guthrie's disappearance.

Last month, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told NewsNation's Brian Entin that authorities hadn't uncovered any additional camera footage at the time, but he was hopeful they'd receive more in the coming weeks.

"We've asked Google," Nanos told Entin. "They said
'Sheriff, we don’t think we can get anything. But we’ll try.'"
