Ed Sheeran Gets Emotional Discussing Wife Cherry Seaborn's 4-Year Health Struggle: 'It Was Scary'
When Ed Sheeran describes the week his wife received her cancer diagnosis, he doesn't mince words. It was, he says, "probably the worst week" of his life, and that's saying something for a man who lost two close friends and fought a high-profile lawsuit all in the same brutal stretch of 2022.
Now, four years later, the Grammy-winning singer is finally ready to talk about it — and what he has to say will bring fans relief.
"She was pregnant at the time, which is why it was difficult," Sheeran, 35, said on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast. "She had the operation to remove the tumor after she'd given birth to our second child. Thankfully, touch wood, totally fine."
A Devastating Diagnosis at the Worst Possible MomentCherry Seaborn, 32, was diagnosed with a tumor in early 2022 while pregnant with the couple's second daughter,Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran, now 3. Because doctors couldn't safely proceed with treatment during the pregnancy, Cherry had to wait to have surgery, a delay that made an already terrifying situation even harder to bear.
The timing couldn't have been worse. "That was probably the worst day," Sheeran recalled on the podcast. "Probably the worst week, because Jamal died that week as well, and then we went straight into the court case."
He was referring to the February 2022 death of his close friendJamal Edwards, the beloved British music entrepreneur. The "Shape of You" copyright lawsuit was unfolding simultaneously. Sheeran also lost friend and cricket legend Shane Warne, who died in March of that year.
"It was really scary," he said.
From the Documentary to TodaySheeran first hinted publicly at Cherry's diagnosis in his 2023 Disney+ documentary Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All, where viewers saw him break down in tears discussing the year that nearly broke him. The series showed him processing profound grief, personal fear, and public scrutiny all at once; a portrait of a superstar quietly falling apart at home while still performing stadiums.
Now, more than two years after that documentary aired, the couple appears to have found steadier ground. In addition to Jupiter, they share daughter Lyra Antarctica Sheeran, 5.
A Family Moving ForwardSheeran has largely kept Cherry out of the public eye since her diagnosis, and his latest comments suggest that privacy was — and remains — a deliberate choice. Still, today's candid update is likely to bring relief to the millions of fans who followed the story closely and have been quietly rooting for her recovery.
For a man who has built his career on writing through the hardest emotions, the simplest possible words may be the most powerful ones he's delivered yet: "totally fine."
Martin Short to Resume Comedy Show with Steve Martin After Daughter's Death
Martin Short and Steve Martin will resume their two-man show after Short's daughter, Katherine, died by suicide on Feb. 23 at the age of 42.
Prior to Katherine's death, the Only Murders in the Building actors were performing their comedy show The Best of Steve Martin and Martin Short across the country.
On Feb. 24, one day after Katherine's death, the duo announced that their remaining tour dates for the month were postponed to November due to “unforeseen circumstances.” They also postponed their March shows to dates in September.
It was unclear if, and when, the tour would be resuming—but TMZ reported on Thursday, Mar. 12 that the tour will pick up on April 11 with their scheduled show in Savannah, GA.
The April 11 show will feature Jeff Babko and The Steep Canyon Rangers, and at the time of publishing, it's nearly sold out.

Short has not appeared publicly since his daughter's death, however, he and his family released a statement to People on Feb. 25.
“It is with profound grief that we confirm the passing of Katherine Hartley Short. The Short family is devastated by this loss and asks for privacy at this time. Katherine was beloved by all and will be remembered for the light and joy she brought into the world,” the Short family said.
Katherine, who worked as a social worker in Los Angeles, was the eldest daughter of Short and his late wife, actress Nancy Dolman—who died of ovarian cancer in 2010. Short and Dolman adopted Katherine shortly after her birth in December 1983, before later adopting sons Oliver and Henry.
According to People, Katherine worked in private practice as a licensed clinical social worker and worked part-time at the clinic Amae Health, providing community outreach, family support groups, peer support, and psychotherapy.
She also worked with Glenn Close‘s charity Bring Change 2 Mind, which focuses on reducing stigma around mental health issues.

Who Are Alexandra Breckenridge’s Kids? Everything to Know About Her Family and Son’s Health Scare
Alexandra Breckenridge has starred in shows like This Is Us, The Walking Dead and Virgin River, which is now in its seventh season on Netflix. But her most meaningful role to date is that of mom.
“When I first held my baby, the world melted away and I knew he was the most important thing I’d ever do,” she once said about being a parent to her two kids.
Keep reading to learn more about Breckenridge’s children, including how she faced a frightening health scare with her son—and how she used that experience to inform her character on Virgin River.
How many kids does Alexandra Breckenridge have?Breckenridge is a mother of two. She welcomed her first child, a son, in September 2016, followed by a daughter in December 2017.
“Some people say, ‘How could [you] possibly love two of them?’” shesaid before the arrival of her daughter. “But I’m not even worried about that. If I can love the first one this much, I’ll love the second one this much too!”

Who is the father of Alexandra Breckenridge’s kids?Breckenridge shares her children with husband Casey Hooper, a professional guitarist who has toured with major artists including Katy Perry.
In fact, the couple’s story began in a roundabout way thanks to Perry, who invited Breckenridge to a Grammys party after stopping by her Los Angeles apartment with a mutual friend.
“[T]hey came over for some chicken,” Breckenridge told The Talk. “[Katy] said, ‘This is the best chicken I've ever had. Why don't you come to the Grammy party in February?’”
Breckenridge took her up on the offer—and met Casey there. Four years later, in 2015, they tied the knot.
Who are Alexandra Breckenridge’s kids?Breckenridge and Hooper share two children:
Jack, 9Their first child, Jack, was born in September 2016 and weighed just over nine pounds at birth.
“My son was huge. He was humongous,” Breckinridge said, recounting the story of his water birth. “And I feel like the hippies lied to me, because I was watching these documentaries about these water births and I was like, ‘Wow, I can do that. I can do that! I wanna do a water birth.'” Cut to her delivery, and she was “screaming blood murder.”
Still, the pain was worth it. “When Jack was born, I experienced a kind of love I never had before,” she said. “I loved my husband more than anything and then I had a child, and that is a totally different level of love.”
Billie, 8The couple welcomed their second child, Billie, in December 2017.
The pregnancy came as a surprise. “I may not have had another child had that not happened, and I’m so grateful that that’s how she came into this world,” Breckenridge said on an episode of Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen. “Because people say they’re obsessed with their children, but I adore my daughter Billie to the ends of the earth and back.”

What illness did Alexandra Breckenridge’s son have?Breckenridge has revealed that her son Jack experienced a serious health scare when he was very young. While she has not disclosed many details about the exact illness, she explained how the ordeal helped her emotionally connect to a difficult storyline on Virgin River, in which her character, Mel, suffered a miscarriage.
“One of my children was very, very sick when he was young and could have died, so I have a personal connection and understanding of the emotional loss of a child,” she told Deadline. “When you’re a parent and you come so close to that edge of not having them anymore, I already experienced that in a different way, so I came into that scene reliving that experience. That’s how I approached it, because that’s what I know.”
Fortunately, Jack recovered, and Breckenridge has since described him as “the apple of my eye.”
View this post on Instagram Where is Alexandra Breckenridge raising her kids?Rather than raising their children in Los Angeles, Breckenridge and Hooper chose to settle in rural Georgia.
“The rural areas of Georgia have an amazing sense of community we were lacking in L.A.,” she told Atlanta Magazine. “We wanted our children to grow up in a place where they could play and ride their bikes that didn’t feel like a big city.”
If only Virgin River were a real place and not a fictional town—they could have lived there!
Mick Jagger’s Ex Jerry Hall Is a Legendary Blonde Beauty at 69
Jerry Hall is known to the world as Mick Jagger's ex, but the Texan beauty is a glamorous legend in her own right.
Hall, 69, kicked off her lengthy career as a model, appearing on endless magazine covers ranging from Vogue to Cosmopolitan. With her long blonde hair and classic drawl, she was the epitome of Texas beauty, and a sharp contrast to her iconic Brit boyfriend, Rolling Stones frontman Jagger. By the ’80s, Hall successfully transitioned to an acting career, with a memorable appearance in Batman as the mistress of crime boss Carl Grissom, who was having an affair with Jack Napier. Napier, of course, became the Joker, who was played by Jack Nicholson.
These days, Hall is still as stylish as her days on the runways. The beauty arrived in an Audi at The King's Trust Invest In Futures Gala at The Chancery Rosewood in London, England, and looks stunning in a velvet gown. With her long, blonde hair cascading beyond her, it's no wonder she charmed Jagger for all those years.

Is Jerry Hall a Grandmother?Jerry Hall is a doting grandmother! While Hall and Jagger called it quits in 1999, the former couple, who had four children together, remained friendly. One of their children is Georgia May, who serves as the founder of May Botanicals. Georgia May celebrated her 34th birthday recently, and snuggled up to her young son, Dean, and her stunning mother for a sweet photo. With long blonde hair and not a stitch of makeup, Hall looks better than ever at 69. It’s safe to say life as a grandmother is a great fit for her!
View this post on Instagram Who Are Jerry Hall's Daughters?Last year, Georgia May and her sister, Elizabeth Jagger, starred alongside their legendary mother in a Burberry campaign. But there were a couple of special guest stars in the campaign: The Jagger girls’ sons, Eugene and Dean, WWD pointed out.
“I love being a grandma,” Hall shared in a video for the campaign, which features the family. Georgia May also speaks of her son Dean, noting, “The baby has started talking — he just kind of babbles to himself.”
55 Years Ago, Multiple Hit Classic TV Shows Were Canceled in ‘Rural Purge’
In spring 1971, network TV had a major shakeup. After a change to Federal Communication Commission (FCC) rules took an hour of the primetime schedule away from broadcast networks and gave it to local stations, multiple long-running shows were canceled, most notably on CBS, per The Saturday Evening Post.
In what was dubbed "The Rural Purge,” five shows that featured rural themes or small town settings—Lassie,Mayberry R.F.D., The Beverly Hillbillies,Green Acres, and Hee Haw—were unceremoniously canceled in March-April 1971 under the directive of CBS executives Fred Silverman and Robert Wood. The move came months after another similarly set show, Petticoat Junction, also got the axe.
According to Wide Open Country, actor Pat Buttram, who played Mr. Haney on Green Acres, looked back on the mass cancellations by saying, “It was the year CBS canceled everything with a tree—including Lassie."
In a move to open up space for incoming CBS series that would attract younger viewers, the 1971 cancellation rampage also took out Family Affair, Hogan’s Heroes, and The Jim Nabors Hour, which targeted older audiences.
Some shows were still hitsMany of the shows that were canceled were still pulling in decent ratings numbers, but their viewership skewed to an older, rural demographic rather than the younger audience advertisers hoped to attract.
In an interview with the Television Academy Foundation, TV producer Paul Henning recalled his disappointment over the mass cancellations. “I don't know how the news got to me, but it got to me that the shows were canceled, and as Pat Buttran said, ‘They canceled everything with a tree in it. They canceled, I think, Andy Griffith. All the rural shows seemed to be lumped together and pushed over the falls.”

Beverly Hillbillies star Irene Ryan was also apparently peeved about getting the boot after nine successful seasons on CBS. According to an interview with the Central Press Association, per MeTV, Ryan complained to then-President Richard Nixon about her hit show's cancellation, while her co-star Buddy Ebsen blamed the FCC for forcing the show off the air while it was still at the top of its game.
By 1972, CBS’ primetime schedule featured a slew of new shows, including M*A*S*H, The Bob Newhart Show, Bridget Loved Bernie and Maude. One “rural” show that made the cut: The Waltons, which premiered Sept. 14, 1972, nine months after its successful Christmas movie pilot aired.
Liza Minnelli Shares Unexpected Details About Failed Marriages
Liza Minnelli shared more details about her previous marriages.
The Broadway actress and singer had four marriages during her lifetime. Her first being with the Australian entertainer Peter Allen. They married in 1967 before separating in 1970 after Allen came out as gay. Their divorce was finalized in 1974, and Allen had a long-term relationship with his partner, Gregory Connell, before his death in 1992.
The same year of her divorce from Allen, Minnelli married Jack Haley Jr., an American director and producer. Their separation, which began in early 1978, was described as amicable rather than scandalous, though the 80-year-old entertainer later reflected on it as "a period of profound personal heartbreak." The couple ultimately grew apart due to the pressures of their respective careers and Minnelli’s increasingly chaotic lifestyle.
In 1979, Minelli married Mark Gero, a sculptor and Broadway stage manager, and they were together for 12 years until their divorce was finalized in January 1992. Minnelli filed for the divorce on November 1, 1990, citing abandonment. The couple’s marriage lasted over 12 years, making it the longest of the "Cabaret" singer's four marriages. During their time together, the pair struggled with personal challenges, including Minnelli suffering three miscarriages and one stillbirth.
Lastly, Minelli married producer David Gest in 2002. The couple was married for five years, but separated in July 2003. Their separation was marked by a contentious legal battle, including a $10 million lawsuit filed by Gest against Minnelli alleging domestic violence, which was dismissed in 2006. The couple ultimately resolved their disputes and agreed to a no-fault divorce with confidential settlement terms.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Minnelli sat down with the publication and spoke about her previous lovers, specifically her relationships with Allen and Gest.
"Peter [Allen] and I were grand, but he decided he knew who he was. I hadn't gotten their yet," Minnelli explained. "He was great to be with. He was fun. We were great friends. That's how it started. That's how it was when it ended. And that's how it was until he kicked the bucket."
Minnelli met Allen when she was 21 years old at Heathrow Airport. The two became friends and got engaged in November 1964. In 1973, the actress met and fell in love with comedian Peter Sellers, and announced their engagement in a press conference that year, while she was still married to Allen and also engaged to her childhood friend, Desi Arnaz Jr.
"What on earth was I thinking, holding a press conference to announce the end of one engagement and the beginning of another? With a man I had just met and barely knew?" Minnelli wrote in her new memoir, Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!, which was published on Tuesday.
Her relationship with Sellers fell apart, as revealed in her book, and "tensions" grew.
View this post on InstagramIn the next clip of the PEOPLE interview, Minnelli spoke about her most recent marriage to Gest. The two met in 2001 thanks to their mutual friend, Michael Jackson. Gest was producing the late singer's 30th Anniversary Celebration concert special, and Minnelli was hired to perform at it. The marriage lasted only 16 months before they separated. Minnelli has since described the marriage as a traumatic period in her life, alleging controlling behavior, while Gest later unsuccessfully sued her for domestic violence.
"David loved celebrating and it was fun," Minnelli told PEOPLE. "The laughter was there and the fun was there, but I did not see [that] he was using me."
In an interview with The Times last month, the star told the publication how "betrayed, humiliated, ripped off and wounded" she felt during the 16-month marriage.
"Sixteen months may sound like a short time to you. Honey, it felt like 16 years. I was disgusted," she said. "Unlike my earlier marriages, where I had a genuine love for my husbands that endured after we split, this one ended in a nasty, brutal divorce. He was hideous."

Since 2007, the EGOT winner has not publicly identified any significant romantic partners other than Gest. While she remains open to dating, she has explicitly stated in her memoir that she will never marry again.
Her new memoir, Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!, is out now.

Broadway Star Fires Back at Timothée Chalamet After Ballet Comments
Earlier this month, Academy Award-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet made controversial comments regarding the state of ballet and opera. His statement sent the internet into a frenzy, igniting conversations surrounding the industry's appreciation for classical art forms. Following the remarks, several Broadway stars came forward to criticize Chalamet, including legendary performer Nathan Lane.
Chalamet's statements were taken from a Variety "Town Hall" episode featuring Matthew McConaughey. The Hollywood icons were discussing the importance of keeping the art of filmmaking alive when Chalamet commented on his aversion to working in ballet and opera—referring to them as "dying art forms."
"I don't wanna be working in ballet or opera, or, you know, things where it's like 'hey, keep this thing alive' even though no one care about this anymore," said Chalamet.
Lane, three-time Tony winner and legendary musical theater figure, spoke to Whoopi Goldberg during today's episode of The View. When prompted to articulate his thoughts on the rapidly circulating discourse, Lane took the opportunity to express his frustration.
"Oh, what a schmuck," Lane said. "You know, one doesn’t want to give this more attention than it deserves. And yet, and yet, it was kind of kaleidoscopic in its stupidity and insensitivity yet strangely telling about where we are in this country.”
Nathan Lane attends Marc Shaiman In Conversation: Never Mind The Happy: Showbiz Stories From A Sore Winner at 92NY on January 30, 2026 in New York City. The Guys and Dolls star continued on, making a dig at Chalamet's most recent film, Marty Supreme, which follows Chalamet's character, Marty Mouser, as he attempts to dominate the world of professional table tennis.
"Then I realized, ‘Oh, he’s still promoting that movie, that endless ping-pong movie [Marty Supreme],’" Lane said. "And, you know, I got news for Timmy: If you think nobody cares about opera and ballet, I can’t tell you how much we don’t care about ping-pong.”
Lane wrapped up his commentary by theorizing about the circumstances of the interview, insinuating the remarks might have stemmed from a... lack of judgment. “I’m thinking some weed was smoked before, [or] this may just be a tragic case of terribly unfunny people trying to be funny, which always ends in disaster.”

The Real Reason Taylor Frankie Paul Got Divorced Amid Swinging Scandal
If it wasn't for Taylor Frankie Paul’s “soft-swinging” scandal, Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives wouldn’t exist. But aside from catapulting her to new levels of fame, Taylor’s bombshell reveal also signaled the end of her marriage to then-husband Tate Paul. As she confessed in her livestream, the couple split after she hooked up with someone without him present—a no-no according to their agreed-upon rules. The firebrand influencer then brought a fresh batch of toxic relationship drama to the show with on-off boyfriendDakota Mortensen.
Despite her tumultuous track record with men—or perhaps because of it—ABC (who shares a parent company with Hulu) named her The Bachelorettefor 2026. Whether Taylor finally finds lasting love with the whole world watching (fingers crossed!) remains to be seen. For now, with the fourth season of Mormon Wives out March 12, 2026, here’s a closer look at her headline-making relationship history.
How many ex-husbands does Taylor Frankie Paul have?Paul has one ex-husband, Tate Paul, whom she married in 2016 and divorced in 2022, the year her “soft-swinging” scandal rocked the Utah-based influencer community known as “MomTok.”
Who was Taylor Frankie Paul’s husband?Taylor Frankie Paul was married to Tate Paul from 2016 to 2022, and they share two kids: a daughter, Indy (born in 2017), and a son, Ocean (born in 2020). Despite Tate’s history with Taylor—a viral influencer and reality TV star—he’s a low-key guy with a job in sales and marketing. He remarried an aesthetician named Bailey, and they welcomed a daughter in 2025.
Why did Taylor Frankie Paul and her husband split?Their marriage came to an end after Taylor admitted to violating their “soft-swinging” arrangement by hooking up with someone from their friend group when her husband wasn’t around. The revelation sent shockwaves through Taylor’s MomTok group and was followed by her split from Tate. Still, Taylor’s indiscretion was hardly the only reason for her divorce. "The divorce is not, like, all because of this huge blow up [in our friend group],” she said on TikTok in 2022. “It was more because I feel like we had a lot of other issues and then this was the tip of the iceberg." Tate has not appeared on the show or publicly revealed anything about the end of his marriage to Taylor.
Who was involved in the MomTok swinging scandal? In her original confession, Taylor said, "No one is innocent. Everyone has hooked up with everyone in this situation”—which makes it sound like there were many people involved. But only Miranda and Chase McWhorter have confirmed their participation (Miranda is now a regular on the show, with Chase making only very sinister appearances). The rest of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast has made it abundantly clear that they had nothing to do with the scandal.
Are Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakotastill together?Given that Taylor was just named the Bachelorette and the season has finished filming, we don't know if she's still single—or engaged! She and Dakota ended their relationship (for the millionth time) at the end of 2024, after two years and one son, Ever, together, and that breakup appeared to stick. Thankfully, they appear to be on cordial coparenting terms these days.
Related: Former Bachelor Star Criticizes Bachelorette Casting of Taylor Frankie Paul
What happened between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota?Put simply: They could not get past their trust issues, which stemmed from Dakota's infidelity and Taylor's deep-rooted insecurities. As with many storylines on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the details of Dakota’s betrayal were fuzzy for a while. After their baby was born, Taylor said she’d learned he’d been “lying the entire time,” but about what, exactly? Did he cheat on her with multiple women? Just a woman named Jenna? Who even was Jenna?!
Mayci eventually got to the bottom of things when she received an anonymous confession from someone claiming to have hooked up with Dakota after he was with Taylor—and, yes, that person turned out to be his ex, Jenna. Although he and Taylor tried to work things out for the sake of their family, Dakota’s infidelity and the fact that he lied about it made her feel like “trash,” and they couldn’t overcome the toxic cycle that had come to define their relationship.
Is Taylor Frankie Paul the next Bachelorette?Yes! To critics of her casting, some of whom targeted her for being a single mom of three with “two baby daddies,” she said, “I am someone who can handle criticism and backlash, trust me, if anyone can handle it, I’m one of them. I felt bad more for other single parents or people in similar situations who read the criticism and wonder if that’s how people view us as single parents or just someone with not a pretty past. It made me feel for them and I’m here to say that we are human, we make mistakes, and how we move forward is what really matters.”

‘Virgin River’ Season 8 Shocker: Who’s Staying and Who’s Leaving?
Warning: Spoilers for Virgin River Season 8 lie ahead.
Fans watching the latest season of Virgin River on Netflix are in for a surprise.
Not only does Season 7, which dropped in its entirety on the platform today, start with a shocking death, but several of the melodrama’s characters are not returning for Season 8.
View this post on InstagramIn an interview with Deadline, published today, showrunner Patrick Sean Smith warned of a cast shake-up, confirming the actors and characters who would not be returning to the series next year.
One is Marco Grazzini, who plays Detective Mike Valenzuela. Grazzini joined the series in its second season and became a regular by Season 3, but there’s a slight chance that Mike has solved his last case in the riverside town.

“Mike probably will be on the back burner for a little while until we have something we’ve written,” Smith said. “We have so many relationships already that I think a little bit of that was just a sort of happy ending for this chapter for Mike to find his way back to Victoria and to explore what happens there. But I love Marco and could see his character coming back in a more substantive role if the creative is right.”
Lauren Hammersley, who plays hairstylist Charmaine Roberts and is the source of multiple cliffhangers throughout the seasons, is not returning. Hammersley has starred in Virgin River since the first season, but became more of a recurring guest by Season 5.
Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts in Virgin River -- Photo courtesy of Netflix“No plans for Charmaine to be back in Season 8 but that’s not to say, when the right time comes, I’d love to bring the character back for something other than more cliffhangers and more lies on pregnancies,” Smith said.
The last confirmed no-go for Season 8 is Sara Canning, a newcomer to the series. Joining this season as ex-cop Victoria, this might be a one-and-done for her as she enjoys happily ever after with Mike.
“For me, I’m just trying to look to the longevity of the show and making sure that the characters that we’re keeping have enough story engine in them to keep going,” Smith shared, explaining the write-offs. Though there are no further casting changes planned, “I think we will have to start to — as characters run their course — make some decisions and bring in some new blood.”
Renewed for another season in July 2025, Season 8 will see Season 7's Zibby Allen, Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson, Ben Hollingsworth, Sarah Dugdale, and Kai Bradbury all return.
“On behalf of myself and the whole Virgin River family, we’re eternally grateful to Netflix and to the fans for allowing us to continue on this journey with these beloved characters,” Smith told Netflix’s Tudum at the time.
Though Netflix hasn't announced an official release date for Season 8 just yet, The Economic Times reported that it's expected sometime in early to mid-2027. Per the outlet, production is scheduled to run from April 22, 2026, to August 10, 2026, in Vancouver.

Hobby Lobby Shoppers 'Highly Recommend' This $12 Rechargeable Lamp That Looks Like It Came From MacKenzie-Childs
For the longest time, the only place I really noticed cordless, rechargeable lamps was at restaurants. You know the ones that are sitting on the table where a tiny tealight used to be, casting that soft little glow that somehow makes everything feel a bit more charming. They always felt like a clever hospitality trick to create mood lighting without worrying about candles. But lately, they're everywhere, and I totally get the hype.
Once you realize you can place a lamp anywhere without hunting for an outlet, it's kind of amazing. A dark corner of the living room can finally have a cozy glow, and a bookshelf looks styled rather than shadowy. You can even bring one outside for a little patio ambiance without dragging an extension cord across the yard. Rechargeable lamps make lighting feel flexible in a way traditional lamps just aren't.
Striped LED Touch Lamp, $11.99 at Hobby LobbyHobby Lobby
All of this to say it's why this Striped LED Touch Lamp at Hobby Lobby caught my eye—it has serious designer vibes, very reminiscent of something from MacKenzie-Childs, but at a far friendlier price.
At just $11.99, the lamp has a super approachable price tag, and it comes in a variety of different colorways. There's the black and white shown above, as well as pink and white, dark blue and white, plus greige and white. Personally, I think the dark blue and white colorway gives a nice nautical, coastal vibe.
Related: Hobby Lobby Shoppers Say This Boho Chic Cabinet Is So 'Rich Looking'
The lamp offers three dimmable settings, including natural, cool white and warm light, so you can really customize it to your liking. And it comes with a USB charging cord. As far as dimensions, the base is just a four-by-four-inch square, so it has a small footprint for whatever surface you're aiming to place it on.
Hobby Lobby has a bunch of great home decor finds lining its aisles at the moment. If you're into the farmhouse look, there's a sturdy two-tier console table that provides a bit of storage where you need it. Love nostalgia? There's a retro metal Coca-Cola thermometer that's just the right amount of kitsch for a cute space. To go along with that throwback vibe, you might also like a set of Hobby Lobby dish towels that fully embrace the flower power era.

Who Won 'Jeopardy' Today? (March 12, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer
There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.
Here's a spoiler-filled recap of who won Jeopardy! today, plus the answer to Final Jeopardy.
At last, James Denison's winning streak has come to an end! The Virginian was looking to take home his fifth victory on today's episode. But Illinois grocer Luke Henson mounted a comeback when he was the only person to get the Final Jeopardy answer correct.
Who are the Jeopardy contestants today?Lydia CawleyLydia Cawley lives in Arlington, Virginia. She works as a director of product.
Luke HensonLuke Henson is a grocer from East Moline, Illinois. He took home $16,798 in his first Jeopardy! win, which he'll hope to build on tomorrow when he returns to the show.
James DenisonJames Denison is a college professor and museum curator originally from Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to his time coming to an end, he had won $99,400 across four days on the show. James has also been the talk of Jeopardy! fans for his notably risky bidding strategies.

What was Final Jeopardy today?Final Jeopardy today was in the category "21st Century Women."
The clue: The Iowa legislature passed a resolution declaring Feb. 22, 2004 her day across the state.
The answer: Who is Caitlin Clark?
James came into the final round as, to no surprise, the leader, having $6,000 over Luke. However, for the third day in a row, he got Final Jeopardy wrong. Luke was the only one of the three players to get the answer correct. He wagered nearly all of his $8,400, giving him the last-minute victory.

Jeopardy will come back tomorrow, Friday, March 13, with a new episode. Check your local listings to find out when to watch.
Where is Jeopardy streaming?Jeopardy! is available on both Hulu and Peacock. Subscribers can enjoy watching new episodes the next day, as well as access a vault of many classic episodes to enjoy at a moment's notice.

Bob Saget’s Widow Kelly Rizzo Shares Heartbreaking Details From the Day He Died: ‘It Was the Worst Day of My Life'
Bob Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo is opening up about the day her husband died.
On the latest episode of her podcast, 'Comfort Food with Kelly Rizzo,' the 46-year-old shared just what happened the day the Full House icon passed away in 2022 from her perspective.
Starting from the evening before where the comedian did stand up in Orlando, she recalled how happy he was with the show, which was part of a multi-stop tour.
"He truly felt like he was on top of the world," she shared of the call they had after. "He had a standing ovation, he felt like he was in comedy like he was 26 again, and it was such a reawakening for him."
Excited to get home after time on the road though, Rizzo said their other texts included him saying, "'I'm coming back home baby, I can't wait to see you.'"

The next morning, the day Saget was found dead in a Ritz Carlton hotel room due to a fatal fall, she recalled not hearing from him for hours, and while she was a bit suspicious she tried not to worry. But when she couldn't get in touch with him, especially ahead of his upcoming flight home, she called the hotel multiple times.
"Finally the hotel said, 'Okay we're going to do a wellness check' and right away my heart starts singing because I'm like, 'that doesn't sound good, but we need to do this,'" she recalled.
Describing her feelings at the time as "agony" while she didn't know what was going on, she said she was still trying not think the worst.

In a following update from the hotel, after she learned that they broke down the door of his room, she was also made aware that paramedics had arrived.
"At this point I'm thinking something bad happened, but I was thinking maybe he had a heart attack, maybe he had a stroke, maybe something happened," she said. "He just needed to be taken to the hospital and then we get an update that 'law enforcement is here but the paramedics left.'"
Still kept in the dark as to what exactly had happened, Rizzo said a friend who had come by to support her, demanded answers—which is when a security guard ask to speak with her.
"Finally she said, 'Kelly they want to talk to you, it's a security guard,' and I was kind of bracing myself but, you can never really brace yourself, and the security guard gets on the phone with me and says, 'Is this Mrs. Saget?' and I said, 'Yes' and he said, "I'm so sorry unfortunately he passed away.'"
Becoming emotional while explaining the situation on the podcast she said, "Every time I just repeat those words it brings me right back there and I remember just falling on the floor and just like riving on the ground and screaming like an animal...just screaming 'no, no, no.'"
Still aware that she needed to compose herself, she called Saget's ex-wife Sherry Kramer with whom he shares three daughters with.
"I felt she should be the one to tell the girls," she said. "I thought that the worst news they were ever going to hear should come from their mom."
Rizzo also shared that while this was happening, she was receiving calls from Full House stars Candace Cameron Bure and John Stamos. She later learned that a sister of a hotel security guard messaged Bure offering condolences, which led to her eventually talking to Stamos.
"I call Stamos [confirming the news] and he just starts screaming and falls to the ground," she said.
When it came to immediate support from the Full House crew, Rizzo mentioned that Bure was the first to arrive at her house, then came Stamos and his wife, Caitlyn McHugh, thenLori Loughlin, and Jodie Sweetin. Comedian Jeff Ross and singerJohn Mayer also arrived to support their friend's wife.
"We were just all in complete and total shock," she said.
Then she recalled, seeing the news of the tragedy break on TMZ.
"I felt like I was floating over my body watching this, that I'm reading an article saying, 'Bob Saget Dead at 65.'"
And while Rizzo was grateful to find out her husband "was sleeping very peacefully and he looked like he was not in any pain," per the investigator, she still struggled to grapple with the fact that her husband had died.
"I don't have a husband anymore?" she remembered thinking. "He's just not coming home ever again? It just didn't compute it, didn't make sense, then I remembered the "W" word, like I'm a widow?'"
Sharing that recounting the experience was "cathartic" for her four years later, she also noted that "even though it was the worst day of my life there was still so much beauty I can look back on and be thankful for the people in my life who got me through that."
Adding a bit of levity to the heartfelt episode, she noted, "that being surrounded by a lot of comedians on the worst day of your life is definitely helpful...it made me feel like his humor will live on...that dark gallows humor is something Bob was very famous for."
Get to Know Whitney Leavitt's Husband, Conner—And Their Response to Those 'Lavender Marriage' Rumors
When The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered, Whitney and Conner Leavitt had only just returned to Utah after moving to Hawaii to deal with marriage issues (namely, Conner’s porn addiction and the fact that he’d hidden an online dating profile from his wife for their entire relationship). But if there was any drama in their marriage after that, it stayed behind closed doors. These days, the Leavitts are a united front.
“I can’t imagine ever loving anyone the way I love Conner,” Whitney shared on Instagram to mark their 9-year anniversary in August 2025. “Through everything we’ve faced, we’ve always come out stronger, side by side. I’m so proud of you babe, and so grateful I get to dance through this life with you.”
Keep reading to learn more about Whitney and Conner’s love story, including how they’ve responded to rumors of a "lavender marriage.”
Are Whitney and Conner Leavitt still together? View this post on InstagramYes. They went through a rocky period in 2022, when Conner’s porn addiction and Tinder indiscretions came to light, but they stayed together then and remain together to this day.
“I remember being in therapy and my therapist asked me, ‘Before we even dive into this, you need to decide is this something you want to work out or something you don’t want to work out?’” Whitney shared on an episode of “The Squeeze” podcast in September 2024. “I never had taken a step back and thought that for myself because in Mormon culture, it’s like, ‘No divorce.’”
Ultimately, she chose to stay with her husband out of desire, not obligation. “It was something I really had to sit down [and think] ‘Did I want to rebuild this trust?’” she recalled. “That doesn’t mean that things aren’t still triggering to me. When it is, then I’m going to work it out and just keep moving forward.”
How did Whitney and Conner Leavitt meet?According to an interview with Vulture, the pair met in 2015, when they were both acting as wingmen on a double date (the other couple didn’t last). But weirdly enough, Whitney met Conner’s family years before then, when she lived in Georgia (Conner’s home state) for her Mormon mission. “It’s just coincidence. How cool is that?” Whitney told Vulture. “I remember being in his home.”
They exchanged vows after a year of dating in a Mormon temple in Provo, Utah.

Was Whitney Leavitt's husband on Tinder?Yes. In the first season of Mormon Wives, Whitney admitted to her fellow MomTokers that her husband had been on Tinder—where he carried out inappropriate online relationships with other users—for their entire marriage, and that they’d in fact moved to Hawaii to salvage their relationship. She also revealed that he had a porn addiction.
Conner owned up to his mistakes and later shared in the Season 2 reunion that he was sexually assaulted as a child. "I needed to get help, so we started going to therapy and trying to figure out why [I was doing what I was doing]," he said, "and I knew why—something I have only shared with Whitney and my therapist and my family." He went on to reveal that he was raped as a boy. “And when I was finally honest with that emotion and that memory, everything made sense."
Not surprisingly, Whitney supported his decision to come forward with his traumatic experience. “[I] love that man,” she’d previously said on “The Squeeze.” “...When you go through something that tough and you come out the other end, man, your relationship is stronger than ever. During, it sucks, but holy hell, I’m grateful for where we are now.”

Was Conner Leavitt on Tinder or Grindr?Rumors spread online that Conner was on Grindr, not Tinder, and that he and Whitney are in a “lavender marriage,” i.e. a heterosexual relationship where one or both partners are using their marital status to hide their true sexuality. But he and Whitney have repeatedly denied—and made light of—those rumors.
“Do I need to put out a sex tape or something? Trust me, we’re good. Like, everything is fine,” Whitney said on the “Off the Vine” podcast in October 2024.
That same month, she posted a TikTok in which she’s seen kissing Conner while a voiceover quips, “I love when beautiful girls have a little gay boyfriend.” Conner then jokingly pushes her out of the frame and flexes for the camera, nodding to the idea that his sexuality is being called into question because he isn’t “masculine” enough.

Does Whitney’s husband, Conner Leavitt, work?As of a May 2025 interview with Vulture, Conner was working at a “newly formed hedge fund.” Because his managers are based in Dubai, he gets to work from home and splits child care with his wife. He also regularly pops up in her videos and currently finds loads of time to support her on Dancing With the Stars.
“Through every step, every rehearsal, and every breakdown I’ve had..thank you for being my steady rhythm, my safe place, and my biggest cheerleader,” Whitney wrote on Instagram, acknowledging his support. “I couldn’t do this without you. I always look forward to seeing the bouquet of flowers you perfectly pick in my trailer 🤧❤️ I love you so much Connie baby!”

Billy Joel's Daughter Shares Update on His Health
Billy Joel's daughter Alexa Ray Joel is sharing an update with fans on the musician's health.
In May 2025, it was announced that Billy had been diagnosed with the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, March 12, Alexa spoke about how her dad is navigating the condition.
"He’s doing physical therapy regularly and he’s doing great. He’s lost weight as he’s on his diet," she said. "I’m so proud of him. He’s such a trooper, so resilient and committed to being healthy and proactive. He’s a fighter. He’s always been a fighter and talks in his documentary about how life’s like a fight.”
At the time of his diagnosis, Billy's team shared on Instagram that the condition was negatively affecting his vision, hearing, and balance. All of his scheduled concerts at the time were cancelled due to the state of his health.
"He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take to the stage," representatives for Billy said back in 2025.
Alexa also took to Instagram to show support to her father following his diagnosis and performance cancellations.
"We love you and we got you, Pop! I just wanted to thank you all for the beautiful outpouring of love and support amid the recent news of My Father’s health diagnosis," she wrote. "My Dad is the strongest and most resilient man I’ve ever known… and he’s entirely committed to making a full recovery with ongoing physical-therapy treatments as he continues to regain his strength."
Billy returned to the stage in Jan. 2026 for an impromptu performance at Wellington’s 30th birthday party.
"Once a performer, always a performer!" Alexa told The Hollywood Reporter regarding the performance. "But health comes first. I said, 'If you’re going to perform again, please stay seated at the piano. No throwing the microphone stand around!'"
‘Catatonic’ ‘80s Music Icon Cancels Show After ‘Indescribable Hell’ at Hotel
The notoriously finicky British singer known as Morrissey has canceled another tour date. This time it’s March 12 in Valencia, Spain.
A message from Morrissey posted on Morrissey Central explained that “indescribable hell” at his hotel made “any form of sleep or rest throughout the night” impossible and he was left “in a catatonic state” that made the thought of performing “impossible.”
Morrissey arrived at the hotel on March 11 after two days of traveling but had trouble getting rest “due to festival noise / loud techno singing / megaphone announcements,” according to the message on his website.
Valencia is celebrating its annual Las Fallas festival, according to the Associated Press, which includes “noisy street parties and fireworks.”
Another message on Morrissey Central noted that “tonight’s scheduled show in Valencia has been rendered impossible due to sleep deprivation,” adding, “Morrissey drove from Milan to Valencia but has not been able to rest in Valencia due to noise.”
The message adds that the concert has not been cancelled, but “circumstances render the show impossible.”
In yet another entry, Morrissey describes the experience as “indescribable hell,” adding, “It will take me a year to record. And that is an understatement."
Related: '80s Icon Proclaims 'Make-up Is a Lie' on Preview of First New Album in Five Years
In recent years Morrissey has become perhaps more famous for his concert cancellations than his shows. This year alone, he has performed 12 concerts, but canceled seven. The website WHeartM.com has even taken to tracking Morrissey’s canceled dates, noting that he has “408 Cancelled, Postponed Dates, or Abbreviated Sets out of 1725 grand total scheduled shows. 24% Cancellation Rate.”
Morrissey’s current tour is supporting his recently released new album Make-Up Is a Lie, marking his return to Sire Records, his U.S. label home during the Smiths’ career and his early solo years.
His next scheduled date is March 13 (yes, Friday the 13th) at the Scandinavian Congress Center in Aarhus, Denmark. Hopefully, he’ll be able to get some rest before then.
If You Can't See the Tulips in Amsterdam, This Dutch Midwest Town Is the Perfect Travel Dupe
Amsterdam is known for a lot of things, but the most innocent and beautiful of all is its lush fields of tulips. As spring is upon us, tulips will start to show up in droves, particularly at the iconic site of Keukenhof Gardens. The Holland wonder comes alive every mid-March to mid-May in what is an explosion of color. There is a Flower Parade and a Tulip Festival that run all season long. But considering it is such an iconic time to visit, getting there can be hard and pricey.
While we aren't saying you should strike it off your long-term travel bucket list, with things being the way they are in the world, paying thousands to frolic in a tulip field might feel a bit...unattainable. That doesn't mean you can't get the experience you're looking for right here in the U.S. And if you want to really dupe yourself into thinking you're on a Dutch tulip holiday, you need to book a ticket to Pella, Iowa.

What Makes Pella, Iowa a Great Amsterdam Alternative? This truly storybook town was actually founded by Dutch immigrants in 1847. The small town is a dream any time of year, as it's full of European charm. Pella has its own historical village, and the Vermeer Windmill, which is one of the tallest working windmills in North America, is full of signature artisanal wares and delicious fare.
Speaking of food, it is extremely authentic to Dutch culture with finds like Jaarsma Bakery, which is filled with signature bites like almond Dutch letters and more. There is even European-style lodging with iconic hotels like the Amsterdam Hotel, which is within walking distance of the town's hub of attractions, boutiques, and more.

♬ Golden Hour: Piano Version (Cover) - Andy Morris"Pella is a gorgeous little town where they have made all of their storefronts (even for national chains) reflect their old-fashioned small-town charm with lots of peaks and brick," former resident Andrea Reiher told Parade. "It's a great town to visit at any time, but the Tulip Festival time of year is magical."
This year, festivities begin on May 7 and continue to May 9 for a weekend full of traditional fun. Residents and tourists alike treat the festival sort of like a Renaissance Faire in that they dress up in historic Dutch attire, nosh on old-timey Dutch eats, and celebrate with Dutch music and traditions.
Each year they crown a Tulip Queen and four attendants to act as the ambassadors of the festival, and they are chosen through nominations from locals. And it's not just a gimmick—the Queen has responsibilities like preparing a program and making dozens of appearances throughout the winter to promote the festival. They also travel to Orange City, Iowa, two weeks after to enjoy their sister town festivities.
If you're thinking of attending, keep in mind:
- Booking early is essential. Rooms fill fast for this beloved festival.
- Parking isn't easily available, so if you are driving, prepare to head out early to ensure a good spot. There are shuttles that can also take you to the city center for celebrations.
- Participate! Get dressed up, embrace the beauty and campiness of it all.
Do not miss out on this gorgeous festival.
