Drumstick’s New WWE-Themed Cone Comes With a Major First

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 6:34pm

Drumstick is ready to enter the ring for the title of the most patriotic dessert.

It appears the fan-favorite brand of sundae cones has come to a cross rhodes, and it's undoubtedly a nightmare for classic summertime treats like the Rocket Pop, Star-Spangled Berry Pie, or Red, White, and Blue M&M's.

Launching nationwide, and in just a short while, is a new collaboration between the ice cream brand and a WWE superstar: Cody Rhodes, also known as "The American Nightmare."

The new cone flavor—Drumstick Red, White & Blueberry—is "as bold as the 2-time Undisputed WWE Champion," according to an official statement shared in an email with Parade.

It features a blueberry sauce-filled cone, strawberry-flavored frozen dairy dessert wrapped in a white confectionery coating, and crunchy rice pieces for extra texture.

While this isn't the first time Drumstick has worked with WWE and its talent (the duo previously teamed up in 2025 for large-scale “Snackdown” activations around marquee wrestling events and the Dr. Umstick with John Cena), this is the first time the company has incorporated a white shell coating.

And fans, whether they be loyal to wrestling or the sweet treat brand, believe this latest collab will continue that winning streak.

"Adrenaline in my cone!🙌🏻🇺🇸💪🏻," influencer Markie_devo joked.

"SOLD😍😍😂😂," a second Instagram user declared, adding that they "don’t care if I have to pay $9.99 for delivery 😂."

"GIMME!" a third exclaimed before further celebrating the item. "Also nice of them to switch to rice crisps so people with peanut allergies can still feel inclusive. I hope they do more of the crisped rice variants to introduce a nut-free edition."

"CM Punk has entered the chat," someone else teased before another chimed in, suggesting that "Rhea Ripley needs one."

"LET'S GO!" several others cheered.

"i have no clue who this guy is," one more admitted, "but i will say the flavor of cone sounds phenomenal."

Where Will Drumstick Red, White and Blueberry Be Available?

Drumstick said its Red, White and Blueberry cones will be available at Walmart stores nationwide beginning on or around Monday, March 16—just in time for Wrestlemania 42, a two-night event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and April 19, and the subsequent Clash In Italy.

Each box includes four cones (suggested retail price $4.97) and is decked out with images of the pro wrestler and WWE symbolism, making it pretty hard to miss regardless of how slammed the freezer aisle is.

Meghann Fahy Calls Her Rom-Com With Penn Badgley the 'Reverse' of '00s Classic (Exclusive)

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 6:19pm

Sirens and The White Lotusstar Meghann Fahyplays opposite You star Penn Badgley in the upcoming rom-com You Deserve Each Other, and Fahy compared the new movie to one early-2000s cult classic in particular.

In an exclusive interview, Fahy explained that You Deserve Each Other is based on a book of the same name, written by Sarah Hogle, and sees Fahy and Badgley in co-starring roles as an engaged couple.

Fahy shared, "One of us decides we don't really want to get married to the other anymore but is too afraid to call it off, so we kind of start torturing each other. It's sort of like the reverse How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is how I describe it, which I am obsessed with that film. I mean, that was one of my favorite rom-coms. So, it's really a fun movie, and the cast is incredible."

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, which came out in 2003, stars Kate Hudson as Andie and Matthew McConaughey as Ben. Both characters are maintaining a farce in their romantic relationship that the other knows nothing about. For Andie, she is working on an article that, as the movie title suggests, is an ironic step-by-step guide on the things that will push a man away.

Ben also has hidden intentions in the relationship, as he has accepted a bet that he can make Andie fall in love with him. Because each is hoping for an opposite outcome, the movie is a hilarious depiction of their chaotic, but surprisingly very touching, relationship. According to Fahy, You Deserve Each Other will bring a bit of that same energy as well.

Fahy also spoke very highly of her co-star, Badgley, saying, "I watched You and was a fan of You, and I've been a fan of Penn's. He's such a wonderful human being, and I'm personally really excited for people to see him in this film because he's so funny. He really is so funny, and I think after doing You for so many seasons, he's able to sort of flex different muscles in the movie that we did together, and I think people are going to absolutely love it."

Fahy also mentioned that the movie would be out later this fall, although currently, no official release date for You Deserve Each Other has been announced.

Moorea Corrigan Has the Perfect Escape for ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ and ‘The Invisible Life of Addie Larue’ Fans

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 6:01pm

It’s definitely going to feel like a long wait until the sixth ACOTAR book comes out, but there are some great releases coming that will help with the wait. One of those is a debut novel from Moorea Corrigan, titled Thistlemarsh.

While there is a fantasy element at its heart, it’s more than that. Corrigan loves period dramas and historical fiction, and she weaves that into Thistlemarsh, bringing an element of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue to the story.

‘Thistlemarsh’ Will Be Released in April 2026

There isn’t that much longer left to wait for the new release. Thistlemarsh will hit shelves in hardback on April 21, 2026, and you will want to preorder it right away.

The beautiful cover has been revealed, and it captures the magic and beauty of the novel. You’re instantly pulled into the world, and even if you are usually an eBook reader, the hardback copy will be a must for your shelves. Between the Hobbit-like door and the English countryside flowers, you'll escape to another world.

Penguin Random House

‘Thistlemarsh’ Is Perfect for All Genre Lovers

While initially marketed as a fantasy, there is much more to Thistlemarsh than that. Sure, it has magic and Faeries, but it also brings a story of the past to life, throwing us into the life of World War I and its aftermath. After all, even as the war came to an end, it wasn’t over for those who fought in it.

That’s where we find Mouse Dunne, who has always dreamed of studying Faeries at university, but she ended up finding a career in nursing due to The Great War. Then when her brother was left dealing with shellshock and she dealt with her cousin’s death, she decided that the “childish” world of the fae wasn’t worth her time.

It is, though, and her late uncle seems to believe that. When Mouse is left Thistlemarsh Hall after her uncle’s death, she heads back to a place that was her childhood home. She soon learns that magic and Faeries are real, but that doesn’t mean you can trust them. In fact, the English have always told you not to trust in the fae, and Mouse may suffer a harsh lesson.

Those who love Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Caroll will find themselves delighted and immersed by Mouse’s journey. At the same time, it’s sure to get you through the wait for more A Court of Thorns and Roses universe.

Thistlemarsh by Moorea Corrigan will hit all major bookstores on April 21, 2026.

‘Emmerdale’ Returns to Its Roots: Robert Sugden Restores the Iconic Family Farm in a Historic Twist

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 5:46pm

The iTV soap Emmerdale has brought the Sugden family back to their roots as the storyline returns them to Emmerdale Farm, a location closely tied to the shows early history.

The ITV series confirmed that Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and his partner Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) will become the new tenants of the former Butler Farm property, where they will run the operation on behalf of the Tate family.

According to iTV, Robert is motivated by a desire to honor his family’s legacy and follow in the footsteps of his father Jack Sugden (Clive Hornby). As part of the storyline, Robert reinstates the old farm sign that had previously been removed, officially renaming the land  “Emmerdale Farm.”

When Emmerdale first premiered in 1972, the series centered around the Sugden family and their farm on the Yorkshire countryside. As the series continued it expanded its focus to the wider village, but the Sugden legacy remains to this day.

Laura Shaw, producer of Emmerdale explained the significance of the storyline in a statement: “The Sugdens have always been at the center of our village, having been the original farming family when Emmerdale was first created. This return to the farm’s roots is a powerful moment, echoing the early drama that unfolded when Annie Sugden (Sheila Mercier) and her sons, Jack and Joe (Frazer Hines), farmed the land. Taking over the tenancy, grandson Robert wants to do his best and make his dad proud. With his loyal partner Aaron, they are ready for this new chapter and committed to making the farm thrive. Farming remains a vital presence in Emmerdale, providing a daily dose of excitement and fresh air for our audience.”

One user wrote on X, “Best decision Emmerdale! I’ve been desperate to see Robert reconnect with his roots & run the farm. The Sugden legacy was dying out so this is such a welcome storyline. And with Aaron by his side? Just perfect 👌”

A second user added, “I love it this is the best news I can't wait to see how this builds up🥳🥳.”

Emmerdale airs Monday through Friday’s in the U.K. on iTV1, and is available in the United States on YouTube and BritBox.

Top Loungewear Brands for WomenWhat To Consider When Shopping for Loungewear

Celebrity and editorial stylist Vanessa Powell says there are a few things to keep in mind if you're shopping for loungewear. For starters, you shouldn't strictly treat them as "at-home" items.

"As a fashion stylist, I think loungewear deserves the same scrutiny as a blazer or a great pair of jeans," she explains. "Just because you're comfortable doesn't mean you abandon taste. The goal isn't to look dressed up at home—it's to look like yourself."

While your first instinct might be to buy basic sets from your local Target or Walmart, Powell suggests thinking outside the box. There's nothing wrong with a great basic set from one of these retailers, but if you want to take your style to the next level, she has a bit of advice.

"Go beyond the price tag and examine what you're actually buying," she shares. "Natural fibers like cotton or modal feel better against skin, breathe well and wash without turning into sad, pilled versions of themselves—unlike some cheap synthetics. Cashmere or cashmere blends are worth the splurge if you want a luxe, lived-in feel that also layers beautifully."

Most importantly, she says the best pieces multitask.

"Can you throw on sneakers and a jacket and run out the door without changing?" she adds. "Elevated loungewear right now is about versatility—knit sets that pass as real outfits, hoodies that layer cleanly under coats, pants that don't scream 'pajamas.' If it only works in your living room, think twice."

25 Best Loungewear Brands for Women, According to Celebrity Stylists1. Best Overall (Tied): LESET

LESET

Celebrity stylist Julie Matos says LESET is the crème de la crème of loungewear. The great thing about this brand is that you can mix and match your sets with ease. Both the tops and bottoms come in various styles of the same color, making it easy to create different looks constantly. In particular, she loves the brand's knit sets like the Lauren Sleeveless Turtleneck ($140) and Lauren Wide-Leg Pants ($180).

"LESET has mastered elevated essentials," she shares. "Their knit sets feel refined, streamlined, and modern. It's the kind of loungewear you can wear at home, to meetings, or styled with a blazer and heels without missing a beat."

2. Best Overall (Tied): Skims

Skims

In particular, she loves the Classic Zip-Up Hoodie ($94) and Classic Straight-Leg Pants ($88) for cozy, everyday loungewear.

Similar to LESET, it offers many of its lounge styles in the same colors, so you can mix and match.

Like Skims, it offers everything from lounge sets perfect for wearing around the house to simple, yet well-made dresses. Matos loves many options from this brand, but the Butter Rib Long-Sleeve Henley ($205) and Mini Shorts ($115) stand out and are a continuous best seller for the brand.

6. Best Size Inclusive: Girlfriend Collective

Girlfriend Collective

For a more inclusive size range, Matos says Girlfriend Collective is a top choice. While the brand mostly offers leggings and other activewear-style pieces, the designs are flattering for all body types, and sizes range from XXS-6XL.

She loves sets from the brand like the Compressive High-Rise Leggings ($108) and Paloma Racerback Bra ($68).

7. Best for Active Loungewear: 437

"The Whipped Henley ($128) and Whipped Roll Down Pant ($190) worn over the Whipped Non-Wire Bra ($70) and Whipped Boy Short ($45) don't read as pajamas but give you that cozy, second-skin feeling," she shares. "The modal-blend fabric has the perfect weight—substantial enough to wear out, soft enough to sleep in. My go-to for looking effortlessly put together when you absolutely did not try."

10. Best for Matching Sets: Norma Kamali

Norma Kamali

JenniLee praises Norma Kamali sets for their wearability (you can dress them up or down) and next-level comfort.

"I live in the Elephant Pants ($185), they feel so chic but like you're wearing pajamas," she gushes. "Pair with the Drop Shoulder Top ($100) in classic black, or search by color (like Bark) and glam up your lounge life with matching sheer gloves and a furry shrug. Elevated loungewear that actually works as going-out pieces."

11. Best for Variety:Donni

14. Softest Sets: Lunya

Lunya

Lunya offers insanely soft and luxurious silk pajama sets, but JenniLee says not to sleep on the brand's other loungewear options.

"The Lunya Cottonsilk Pocket Henley ($228) and Ribbed Leggings ($198) are perfect for indecisive weather. This blend of organic cotton and Washable Silk has a zero-itch factor and works seamlessly between the sheets and the seasons," she says. "The fabric gets softer with each wear, meaning you're investing in something that improves over time."

15. Best Long-Sleeved Sets:Untitled in Motion

Untitled

"Who says your loungewear has to be boring?" says JenniLee. "Untitled in Motion matching sets are for those of us who secretly want to wear luxurious pajamas all the time."

As for her picks, she chose something that stylishly stands out.

"The silky, breathable Tencel fabric of the Emissus Drawstring Pants ($225) and matching long sleeve button-down Manifest Top ($245) is my version of elevated loungewear. Easily dressed up with heels or [you can] keep it low-key with chunky sneakers. Either way, it's the kind of set that looks intentional without ever trying too hard."

16. Best Short-Sleeved Sets: Organic Basics

Organic Basics

Organic Basics is the affordable brand JenniLee loves, especially for short-sleeved, mix-and-match sets.

"I swear by the Organic Basics TENCEL LYOCELL Soft Touch Veil Tee ($44)," she states. "It's comfy enough to fall asleep in, but polished enough to throw a blazer over and pair with jeans. When you're lounging, though, pair with the Everyday Straight Leg Pants ($65)."

17. Best for Leggings: Lululemon

Classic brands like Lululemon remain popular for a reason: its items are top-notch. Powell says if she wants leggings with longevity, it's the first brand she turns to. 21. Best Neutrals: Quince

Quince

Whether you prefer rich browns or soft beiges, Quince is the place to go for high-quality, neutral-colored loungewear. Like Powell said before, investing in quality pieces means you'll be able to wear them both out and at home. Her favorite piece of loungewear from the brand that fits the bill is the Mongolian Cashmere Fisherman Pullover Hoodie ($119.90).

22. Best for Hot Sleepers:Eberjey

Eberjey

JenniLee says that the right pajamas can really change the game, especially if you're a hot sleeper.

"If you're waking up in a sweat, your pajamas are working against you," she says. "As a hot sleeper myself, I can totally relate to this, and the fabric of these pajamas has given me back hours of sleep. Eberjey's Gisele Set ($148) is the fix—the fabric is featherlight and breathable in a way that actually makes a difference. The relaxed fit means nothing is clinging to you at three A.M., and it still looks cute enough that you won't feel embarrassed answering the door in it."

23. Best for Women Over 50:Frank & Eileen

Frank & Eileen

Powell loves luxury brands like Frank & Eileen for their comfortable and well-made sets. You can easily wear items like the Scotland Getaway Set ($598) out to run errands, or you can dress them up for a casual dinner with friends.

24. Best Maternity Sets:Bumpsuit

Amazon

While Powell loves luxurious brands like Quince for investment pieces, she also loves affordable Amazon brands like TANKANEO for women's loungewear just as much. This cozy and cute Knit 2-Piece Striped Lounge Set is only $24 and comes in two other neutral colorways.

But also a wonderful person who earned viewer’s trust over generations reporting on all the major stories impacting New York City and the world. He truly was an icon. Sending condolences to his family and all who came to view him as a trusted source of news," news personality Steve Lacy wrote.

Farrah Fawcett’s Son, Redmond O’Neal, Spotted With Devil Horn Face Tattoos While Facing Murder Charges

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 5:23pm

Redmond O'Neal, the son of Charlie's Angels' star Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O'Neal, debuted some shocking tattoos when facing murder charges in court.

O'Neal, 41, was spotted in pictures published by The Daily Mail in a Los Angeles courtroom with devil horn tattoos on each side of his forehead, right under his hairline. Another tattoo that existed previously on his left cheek and reads “5250" could also be seen in the photos.

According to PEOPLE, O'Neal was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, as well as several other counts stemming from an alleged 2018 crime spree. The criminal complaint the publication obtained read that O'Neal allegedly attacked a man with a glass bottle and stabbed another.

When Did Redmond O'Neal's Mother, Farrah Fawcett, Pass Away?

Fawcett rose to stardom alongside Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson on the original Charlie’s Angels series, which ran for 115 episodes from 1976 to 1981. The trio played women who ditch their boring gigs right out of the police academy for an action-packed life as private investigators.

However, Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. She announced her diagnosis in a public statement, sharing her mission to overcome the battle.

“Throughout the journey of my life, I have maintained a strong faith in the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity. I deeply believe in one’s own positive will to overcome even the most daunting challenges,” Fawcett wrote, PEOPLE shared.

She continued, “I am resolutely strong and I am determined to bite the bullet and fight the fight while going through the next six weeks of cutting-edge, state-of-the-art treatment."

Fawcett started the Farrah Fawcett Foundation the following year. While she was given a clean bill of health in 2007, her cancer returned a few months later. Doctors told her it had metastasized to her liver, and she died in 2009.

In honor of Fawcett's legacy, the organization raises funds for HPV-related cancer research, patient assistance funds during treatment, and prevention programs to help spread the word.

Here's Fawcett in a joyful moment on the iconic series:

Who is Redmond's Sister, Tatum O'Neal?

Tatum O'Neal, 62, rose to fame as a child with her star turn in Paper Moon, the 1973 American road comedy-drama directed by Peter Bogdanovich. The daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal and Joanna Moore, she was so successful in the role that she scored an Academy Award at the age of 10. She went on to roles in films like the teen flick Little Darlings and The Bad News Bears, but struggled in subsequent years with personal problems, including widely-reported addiction issues and a fractured marriage to tennis star John McEnroe.

While O’Neal has struggled to get her strength back following her 2020 stroke, a new photo posted to her Instagram last month shows she seems to be doing great. Smiling brightly alongside her daughter, Emily McEnroe, O’Neal sported a pair of glasses and rosy cheeks as she held up the camera for a selfie. After everything O’Neal has been through, it’s great to see her feeling healthy again.

Two Stars of 'The Pitt' Are Hitting the Broadway Stage This Spring

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 5:08pm

Isa Briones Will Star in the Broadway musical Just in Time

Briones will star opposite actor and singer Matthew Morrison (Glee) who plays Bobby Darrin until April 21, when actor and singer Jeremy Jordan takes over in the role. Briones joins the Just in Time production, starting April 1, 2026.

A recent share, crossposted between both Briones' and the musical's Instagrams, reads: "She’s clocking in for her next shift on Broadway - THE PITT’S @isacamillebriones is Connie Francis, starting April 1.

'90s Rock Band Announces Unfortunate News Amid 2026 Tour

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 5:00pm

Unsane had some unfortunate news for the fans on Thursday.

The rock band announced on Instagram that the opening night for the European leg of their Occupational Hazard Tour has been cancelled by the venue. The show was set to take place on Friday evening at Molotow in Hamburg, Germany, and was supposed to kick off Unsane's first tour on the continent in three years.

"Unsane regrets to inform our friends in Hamburg that the promoters have unexpectedly canceled tomorrow’s show. :(," the band wrote on their Instagram a day before the show.

The venue has so far not commented on the sudden cancellation. According to Motolow's official website, they are set to host The Haunt on Thursday evening.

View this post on Instagram

Back in December, Unsane announced the tour dates for their Occupational Hazard Tour, which was supposed to start this Friday in Hamburg and conclude in Prague on April 13. They are also set to make stops in various cities in Sweden, Poland, France, the United Kingdom and more. As of now, their show in Malmö, Sweden, at Plan B is still scheduled for this Saturday.

Three hours before the sudden announcement, the group revealed the North American leg tour dates, which will take place this September and October around the United States and Canada. The world tour is to support the extended reissue of their 1998 album, Occupational Hazard, which was released on Feb 6.

View this post on Instagram

Unsane is an American noise rock trio that was formed by Chris Spencer, Charlie Ondras and Pete Shore in New York City in 1988. The three original members met while they were students at Sarah Lawrence College, and were a big part of the metal scene in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan throughout the early 1990s.

Over the past 38 years as a group, the band has gone through many lineup changes and hiatuses, but has so far released eight studio albums, three compilations and three live albums. Its current lineup now includes Spencer, Eric Cooper and Jon Syverson.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of their 1998 album, Occupational Hazard, Unsane released a remastered version of the record, which includes 13 of the original tracks plus six demos. Back in 1998, Occupational Hazard was the first album the group released with Relapse Records. Though that should have been a cause for celebration, a complicated recording process, a grueling touring schedule and a major physical assault on Spencer took a major toll on the singer and guitarist.

Looking back to when they recorded the album at Excello Studios in Brooklyn more than three decades ago, Spencer told New Noise Magazine last month that there were "a few hurdles" during the recording process.

"We recorded it at Excello with Billy Anderson. It’s a really grassroots, kind of raw studio. A lot of the equipment was really old. The board was crackling and [explicit] like that. Some [explicit] had to be cleaned and fixed to even get the recording decent," Spencer explained. "So we recorded it in this really raw way and then got the rough mixes from Billy, who had gone back to San Francisco, and we’re like, 'Oh, what the [explicit], they sound really mushy.'"

Unsane's next show will take place at Plan B in Malmö, Sweden, on Saturday, then at the Hush Hush Club at Jonkoping, Sweden, the next day. Tickets for Unsane's Occupational Hazard Tour can still be purchased on Ticketmaster.

1989 Masterpiece Among ‘Best High School Comedies of All Time’ Was Initially a Flop

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 4:52pm

John Hughes had teen cinema cornered in the ’80s.

Not only did the writer-director apply his signature archetypes and coming-of-age formula to every high school comedy he worked on, but he created a blueprint for winsome high school tales that inspired generations of filmmakers.

There is one film, however, that threw the Hughesian template in the garbage, lit a match, then watched it burn.

View this post on Instagram

Heathers, quite possibly the darkest teen comedy of the 21st century, sidesteps any trace of sincerity and empathy, injecting brutal satire and teen cynicism into an enduring cult classic that continues to leave audiences equal parts horrified and exhilerated.

The film, released in March 1989, is celebrating 37 years this month. Hailed by critics and called a masterpiece by fans today, the pitch-black comedy surprisingly wasn't an instant hit. In fact, it bombed majorly at the box office, making a measly $1.17 million on a $3 million budget, per IMDb.

“I didn't even really know that it didn't do well, to be honest,” Winona Ryder, the film's protagonist, told Entertainment Weekly in 2014. “I was just so damn excited that it was so good. It just reminds me of a wonderful time in an actor's life when all that mattered is that you were really good in a movie.”

A debut for both director Michael Lehmann and writer Daniel Waters, the feature unfolds amid the vicious halls of high school, where the social hierarchy is ruled by a clique of mean girls all named Heather. When disapproving popular girl Veronica, played by Ryder, and her bad-boy boyfriend, J.D., played by Christian Slater, confront HBICHeather Chandler, played by Kim Walker, they accidentally kill her and make it look like a suicide. Thus begins a reign of terror that culminates in an explosive takedown of Westburg High.

It’s brutal. It’s self-aware. And it’s full of scathing one-liners. But that’s where this “flop” really sizzles. “Heathers seemed influenced as much by Blue Velvet as by Sixteen Candles, and it paved the way for an era of darker, edgier, more experimental teen comedies,” The New Yorkwrote in a piece called “Heathers Blew Up the High-School Comedy.”

They added, “To watch Heathers as a teen-ager was to understand, maybe for the first time, that the way things are isn’t the way things should be. To watch it now, as an adult, is to remember what it was like to grasp that lesson, and to want to learn it anew.”

Ryder told EW she “wanted to make the teen film to end all teen films.”

Instead, she and her Heathers cast and crew ignited a subversive cultural firestorm, crafting a film that redefined the teen coming-of-age genre and, like Hughes, inspired an entire generation.

Heathers is now streaming on Tubi.

'KPop Demon Hunters' Sequel Confirmed Amid Oscars Buzz

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 4:43pm

The hit Netflixanimated filmKPop Demon Hunters has officially confirmed a sequel. The announcement came earlier today when original directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans revealed a multi-year writing and directing deal with Netflix, allowing them to continue their creative partnership.

The exciting news follows the film's unmatched acclaim, with the 2025 smash hit claiming over 10 major nominations this award season. With the 98th annual Academy Awards ceremony rapidly approaching, internet buzz is at an all-time high for the animated classic. Going into Oscar weekend, KPop Demon Hunters is nominated in two major categories, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.

KPop Demon Hunters follows the story of a Korean Pop group HUNTR/X, and their double life as demon hunters. Throughout the film, the starring ladies—Rumi (voiced by Arden Cho, singing by EJAE), Mira (voiced by May Hong, singing by Audrey Nuna), and Zoey (voiced by Ji-young Yoo, singing by Rei Ami)—navigate balancing their superstardom and a seemingly imminent demon takeover. The film highlights themes of self-acceptance and friendship through dynamic characters and catchy tunes, making its immediate success unsurprising.

The highly anticipated sequel will be produced by Sony Pictures Animation and will build off the original story that touched over 500 million viewers. In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, co-director Kang opened up about what the film means to her.

"I feel immense pride as a Korean filmmaker that the audience wants more from this Korean story and our Korean characters. There’s so much more to this world we have built and I’m excited to show you. This is only the beginning,” Kang said. Appelhans added, “These characters are like family to us, their world has become our second home. We’re excited to write their next chapter, challenge them and watch them evolve—and continue pushing the boundaries of how music, animation and story can come together."

Commenting on their future collaborations, Netflix's chief content officer Bela Bar expressed excitement about the partnership, noting the film's unparalleled reach.

“With KPop Demon Hunters, Maggie and Chris didn’t just reach audiences, they ignited a global fandom that crossed languages, generations, and genres. We’re incredibly proud to deepen our partnership with them and, together with our partners at Sony Pictures Animation, build this universe in ways that will surprise and delight fans all over the world,” Bajaria said.

Although an official release date has not yet been set, the directors estimate the film should be slated for release sometime in 2029.

'Pretty Little Liars' Receives Modern Manuscript Update and Fans Absolutely Hate It

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 4:33pm

A popular young adult series from the early aughts has received a modern update to its manuscript some 20 years after its release, and fans aren't pleased with the change.

Sara Shepard'sPretty Little Liars, first published in 2006, went on to inspire the beloved Freeform series of the same name starring Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse, and sparked 15 sequels within the series—plus two companion novels.

Naturally, it came as quite a shock to the internet when one reader picked up Kindle Unlimited's e-book version of the novel to find that the decades-old manuscript had been changed to include a mention of TikTok—an app that's only been around for half of the time in between.

"...five pages in and they've updated it to include a TikTok reference..." one reader named Megan shared on X, wondering if she should bother to keep reading. In the original series, one character, named Mona, invites the main group of girls over to watch Fear Factor, a reality competition series that often included the contestants being forced to engage with creepy crawlies—from being covered by them in an enclosed space to eating them alive. In the tweaked version, Mona invites them over to watch a TikTok challenge of someone eating bugs, instead.

It seems that the change coincides with a 2022 rerelease to promote the spinoff series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, but is just now causing a stir among longtime fans of the books, who are all in agreement that they "cannot express how much i hate this."

Started reading Pretty Little Liars (originally published in 2006) and I’m five pages in and they’ve updated it to include a TikTok reference…do I DNF? pic.twitter.com/47ikwFiBax

— megan🧸✨ (@coastalsoftgirl) March 11, 2026 The Sly Update Proved Why Physical Media Is 'So Important'

One internet user called the move "genuinely unethical," particularly in a piece of literature that has had such a notable impact. "Once a book is published, especially something like Pretty Little Liars, you don't just quietly rewrite history and slip in modern references as if the original text never existed," they wrote, emphasizing how it "changes the tone, the context and the cultural footprint of the work" by adding "new slang or whatever trend is popular this week" in ways that "break the original vibe."

"this is why physical books are so important 😔 they can’t come edit your pages," another agreed.

"SINCE WHEN are they just 'updating' books we have lost the plot," somebody else lamented, with a fourth wondering, "Why do big companies insist on ruining a good thing. I wonder if it’ll be the same with the physical books selling now."

The Nonsensical Switch Was a 'Big Ick' for Many

Even though it may be a bit of an outdated inclusion, Fear Factor made sense in context, as another commenter pointed out. "...people used to watch broadcast tv together." But inviting someone over to watch a seconds-to-minutes-long TikTok "sounds absolutely crazy," as "They would just share it to the group chat."

"this is actually one of my biggest book icks ever omg 😭," one user wrote in reply, admitting that any mention of TikTok immediately leads them to putting down a book.

"Companies forget that dated references show what life was like before smartphones," someone else mused. "They helped me see how influential 2000s reality TV was, partly due to the 2008 writers’ strike. I’d rather read dated references than see them rewritten to appeal to the smartphone-generation."

Many also expressed concern that the move hinted toward more nefarious, Orwellian intentions in the age of banned books. "this should be illegal, it’s concerning that this is allowed to happen, especially in this political climate with the current administration actively trying to erase history," one boldly suggested. "books are supposed to be a time capsule of when they were written."

Get to Know Mayci Neeley's Husband, Jacob, and the Tragic Story of Her Late Boyfriend Arik

Thu, 03/12/2026 - 4:30pm

Mayci and Jacob Neeley’s marriage is featured on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but unlike, say, Jen and ZacAffleck’s marriage, it hardly brings the drama (no offense to the Afflecks!). Still, despite Mayci’s happy home life today, she has one of the most tragic relationship timelines on the series. When she was 19 and 14 weeks pregnant with her first child, her boyfriend, Arik, died while they were fighting over text.

“On 24 March 2015, Arik and I had a fight. The pressure on us had become too much and we started to argue over text,” she wrote in her 2025 memoir, Told You So (via an excerpt published by The Mirror). “Little did I know that Arik was driving while texting me.” She stopped responding to his messages and, later that day, while scrolling through Instagram, noticed tributes to him popping up in her feed.

“I started to shake and felt physically sick,” she wrote. “Then I saw a photo of a car that was completely destroyed—it was Arik’s car.” She called his dad and confirmed that her “best friend” had died. “I was utterly destroyed.”

Keep reading for more about Mayci’s heartbreaking story and how she met her future husband after losing Arik.

Who is Mayci Neeley’s husband?

Mayci has been married to Jacob Neeley since June 8, 2018. They met through friends in 2016, when her firstborn, Hudson, was 7 months old. “After everything I’d been through, I was very guarded, but Jacob was kind and we got on really well,” she wrote in her memoir (per The Mirror).

“For a long time, we remained just friends and because we weren’t really dating, I was OK with him meeting my son. Jacob was amazing with him, which made him appear even more attractive. I was terrified of getting hurt again but, after four months, I couldn’t deny my feelings any longer. He was kind and funny and made me feel safe.”

Jacob popped the question with a homemade book about their love story, with the final page being a proposal.

Yes. According to Jacob’s LinkedIn profile, he’s a sales and finance consultant at AO2 Management, which helps brands grow on Amazon. (“We optimize product listings, employ winning PPC strategies, and streamline operations,” the company profile says.)

He also features frequently on his wife's social media feeds (and runs active accounts of his own) and makes occasional appearances on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

What happened to Mayci Neely’s boyfriend Arik?

Arik died in a car accident when he was 19 as a result of texting while driving. He was messaging a pregnant Mayci at the time, fighting over the fact that he had cheated on her (something she’d only just found out an hour before). The “Baby Mama” founder wrote about the traumatizing incident in her memoir, Told You So. "Certain parts of [the book] were hard to share,” she told People. "Because I do talk about the heartbreak of being cheated on and I feel like part of me didn't want to share it because I was like, 'I don't want to taint the story in any way.’”

"It is my son's dad, at the end of the day, and I always want him to look good and I want my son to have whatever he reads to be positive,” she continued. “And I will say, most of the book is very positive about it.”

View this post on Instagram Was Mayci texting Arik when he crashed?

Yes, although she explained in her book that she didn’t know he was driving while they were messaging each other.

Mayci shares her firstborn, Hudson, with her late boyfriend, Arik, who died in a car wreck while she was less than halfway through her pregnancy.

“Can’t believe my baby is growing up so fast,” Mayci wrote on Instagram in honor of the boy’s 9th birthday in 2024 (he’s now 10). “Hudson is smart, witty, kind, silly, generous, athletic, handsome and more. I love him more than words can express.”

Mayci has three children: son Hudson, who she shares with her deceased ex, Arik (Jacob has legally adopted the boy), and daughters Harlow and Charli.

Although she’s posted photos of all three kids on social media in the past, she seems to now be choosing to cover their faces, presumably to protect their privacy.

Did Mayci go through IVF?

Yes, Mayci’s daughters were conceived through IVF. The Mormon influencer has documented her fertility journey on social media over the years. “I didn’t know if I was going to share our IVF journey because it is so personal, but I want to show all the parts of my life, not just the best parts,” she wrote on Instagram back in 2020, when trying for her second child (her first with Jacob).

Her attempt to get pregnant with her third child was documented on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, although Mayci said the storyline got “cut short” in Season 2 edits.

@maycineeley

Fans reacted enthusiastically on social media after seeing the two former Islanders together at the event.

On X one user wrote, “Beauty, confidence, and star power all in one frame. ✨”

Another fan shared, “They understood the assignment. 🔥🔥”

A third added, “My favorite women Olandria and Serena look amazing.”

Carthan appeared as a Day 1 Islander on Season 7 of Love Island USA, where she quickly became a fan favorite.

During the season viewers closely followed her developing connection with fellow Islander Nicolas "Nic" Marcel Vansteenberghe.

On Day 18, both Carthen and Vansteenberghe were eliminated during a Casa Amor twist, but were given the opportunity to unite and explore their relationship.

By Day 26, the pair reunited in the villa, and ‘NicOlandria’, as the couple is affectionately known by fans, has remained strong ever since.

Meanwhile, Page appeared as a Day 1 contestant on Season 6 of Love Island USA.

Her relationship with Kordell Beckham faced challenges through the season, but the pair ultimately made it to Day 32 and were crowned the winners of Love Island USA Season 6.

Fans can revisit their journeys as Love Island USA Season 6 and 7 are currently streaming exclusively on Peacock.

Fans can also follow Page in the franchise’s first spin-off outside of the game, Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which follows several Season 6 contestants as they navigate life after leaving the show.

Additional spin-offs for Love Island are also available on Peacock including Love Island: Games, and Love Island: All Stars.

One of the best things about a cardigan like this is how many ways you can style it. You can wear it fully buttoned for a more structured look or leave it open over a tank top or T-shirt. Some people also like fastening only the middle button or draping it over their shoulders for a relaxed, effortless feel.

It works well for many different occasions too. Pair it with trousers for the office, layer it over a dress for dinner, or wear it with jeans for everyday errands. At home, it’s cozy enough to throw on with lounge pants or sweatpants.

Shoppers seem to love it as well. The cardigan holds a 4.6-star rating from more than 900 reviewers. One shopper described it as “lightweight” and “beautiful,” writing, “This cardigan is so soft and comfortable — I can wear it all day. It looks great with multiple outfits.” Another said it’s “true to size” and that the “quality is very good,” adding, “It’s not too heavy or light, and can be dressed up or down.”
