Meghan Markle is more than the Duchess of Sussex. The actress/royal/wife to Prince Harryis also the mom of two and the creator of luxury lifestyle brand As ever. She recently posted a behind-the-scenes look into a backyard photo shoot, and it looks like Markle had some help from a few very special guests!

So, what does a BTS photo shoot for As ever look like? Markle’s post starts with a quick video clip of her filling vases on a table in the family’s backyard. In an adorably honest parenting moment, she looks off-frame and asks, “Are you having fun, my love?” While Markle may look perfectly polished, the video descends into momentary chaos as you hear a child yelling. With a flutter of movement on the side of the screen, the royal/mommy giggles with giddy laughter, smiles, and says, “Archie.” Of course, she is talking to her six-year-old son.

The cute clip continues with a walk-on role from Markle’s daughter, four-year-old Lilibet. Dressed for a backyard tea party, shoeless and in a pretty pastel frock, the little girl whispers something to her mommy. Markle leans over and gently responds to the preschooler, “Yes, I think you can. Let’s go. Let’s go,” and rushes out of the camera’s view with her daughter, hand-in-hand. 

Markle also includes two candid photos with her daughter, Lilibet. The first pic shows the duchess serenely smiling as her little girl carefully pours water from a pitcher into a vase. In a third image, we’re treated to a totally relatable working mom moment. As Markle meticulously arranges blooms for her "As Ever" photo shoot, Lilibet sits crisscross-applesauce under the rustic-chic countertop. 

Having famous parents isn’t easy. And Prince Harry certainly understands the issues that come with being under a media spotlight. Having grown up under the paparazzi’s eye, the dad of two decided to take a step back from his royal duties in 2020 and moved his family to the U.S. (Santa Barbara, California). 

The couple’s first child, Archibald Harrison (Archie), was born in London on May 6, 2019. Archie’s little sis, Princess Lilibet of Sussex, was born in California on June 4, 2021. While Markle and Prince Harry have kept their lives fairly private in recent years, they do periodically share family photos (like the video and pics in this Instagram post) on social media. And we’re pretty sure fans absolutely adore these quick glimpses into the royal family’s life.

One user, Klutchcard, summed up the group's collective anxiety perfectly: “If you gotta ask ‘Can I make the cruise/the flight?’, you’re doing it wrong.” It seems the consensus among the 1.6K upvoters is that "freestyle" cruising should refer to your dinner time, not your arrival window.

The parade of horror stories served as a wake-up call for those tempted by the siren song of saving one night’s hotel cost. The advice from the community was unanimous: treat the night before your cruise as part of the vacation itself. Whether it’s a cheap motel near the port or a high-end stay with a view of the water, that 24-hour buffer is the only thing standing between you and a very expensive "wave goodbye" from the pier. After all, nobody wants their first vacation photo to be of a closed terminal gate.

While the thread was heavy on the "I told you so's," it also offered a glimmer of hope for the truly bold (or truly lucky). One user shared their redemption arc, titled "I missed my cruise and was able to board at the next port," though the consensus was that the stress of chasing a 150,000-ton vessel across international borders isn't exactly the "relaxing getaway" most people have in mind.

As the community put it, the best way to start a cruise isn't with a sprint—it's with a pre-departure cocktail in hand, safely on board, while watching the other people try to make the gate.

Just days before Taylor Frankie Paul was set to debut as the lead on The Bachelorette, plans for the season were abruptly scrapped after TMZ leaked footage tied to a 2023 domestic violence incident. The video showed Paul physically assaulting her ex, Dakota Mortensen, while her daughter was present.

Now, Bachelor Nation is speaking out on ABC’s decision, with former leads and contestants weighing in on the network’s response, the seriousness of the allegations and what the cancellation could mean for the future of the franchise.

Clark took to Instagram to share his opinion on the matter. “If ABC’s canceling the show—there are millions and millions and millions of dollars tied to that production—it’s serious,” he said. But the money doesn’t matter, he added. 

“At the end of the day, what matters are the human lives involved. ... And the only thing I care about and, really, I think anyone should care about, is that the people involved get the support [they need] and are given the permission to do the work that they need to do in order to heal.”

He went on to say that he watched some of the leaked 2023 video and that it was “scary” and suggests a lot of “underlying trauma and substance abuse.” 

“My hope is that there is a happy ending to this story, and my hope is that the internet and the people that have the ability to turn their phones around and give an opinion take it easy on everyone involved.”

Speaking to TMZ TV, Ellis said he thought ABC’s decision to cancel Season 22 of The Bachelorette was the “morally” right one. “I think ABC needed to take a stance and they did that,” he said. “I think if they aired the season, they would have left room for interpretation.”

As for what the current implosion means for the future of the show, he said, “I don’t know. I know it’s a big road they have to overcome with this.”

Lindsay was recording an episode of the podcast Bachelor Party when she heard the news of the show's cancellation and responded in real time along with hosts Juliet Litman and Callie Curry. Although she had "chills" in response to ABC's decision to pull the plug, she wasn't exactly shocked by it. "There’s no way under any brand, but particularly Disney, that you can proceed when this video comes out," she said.

She also expressed disbelief that Paul made it onto The Bachelorette in the first place.

"This is bad for Taylor personally, this is bad for her children, this is bad for The Bachelorette as a franchise, this is bad for Disney, this is bad for Hulu. Because somebody is going to have to take the blame for not vetting this out. … How did this pass the threshold?"

Taking to his Instagram Stories to weigh in, Luyendyk wrote, "I feel for the entire production and contestants that put their lives on hold. So much goes into this, you have no idea. I’m in no way supporting [Paul] and I feel it’s the right decision. In hindsight, she wasn’t the right choice for the role. What a mess."

Crawley weighed in on the situation before ABC canceled the season, and her comments suggest she'd be happy with the network's decision.

"From my own experience, the level of public scrutiny that comes with being the Bachelorette is extremely intense," she wrote on Instagram Stories. She went on to say that with the 2023 video surfacing, the "pressure and scrutiny" on Paul would be that much more intense and potentially harmful.

"I truly don't believe this season should air," she said. "For her benefit and for theveryone involved. The responsible decision is to pull it and prioritize accountability, support and real healing—away from the spotlight."

Sharing his surprise at the cancellation on Instagram Stories, Horstmann wrote, “Wow, never thought this would happen. I do think this is the right move." He went on to say that he feels "terrible" for the producers and everyone who worked "20-hour days" behind the scenes. "A lot of them really do care and put everything they have to make sure this show is successful.”

Anderson took to X to share her thoughts. “As a former Bachelor contestant, I can tell you that ABC thoroughly vets every part of your personal history," she wrote. "Given that Frankie Taylor Paul already had a public profile, it’s hard to believe they didn’t know exactly who she was going in to this season." She then questioned whether Bachelor producers are "in it for the right reasons."

Chin hopped on Instagram to lament that Iloha Maher wasn't selected to be the next Bachelorette, saying the rugby player would have "slayed" and that she would "never" have been involved in Taylor's season-ending controversy. “That’s who’s deserving of falling in love on a national stage," she concluded.

Before ABC made the call to pull the plug, Jacobs shared on Instagram Stories that what he saw of Taylor's domestic violence video made him "sick" and that the network couldn't "continue to support this and to ask [an] audience to support this and encourage this behavior and celebrate it." He urged ABC to put an end to the season. "It all just needs to get scratched."

Only a few Bachelorette Season 22 contestants have addressed the season's cancellation, and Johnson was the first. “I can honestly say this was one of the best groups of men I’ve ever been around,” he wrote in an Instagram Story. “So much integrity, respect and heart across the board. Even the tough moments never took away from that.”

Van De Water was a little more subtle than Johnson in his response, posting a new song by Ella Langley with the message, “That’s all I gotta say."

Even less direct was Ledford, who simply posted ellipses to his Instagram Stories.

Outlander continues to unfold its final season with a new episode on today – the third of 10 – with William (Charles Vandervaart) resuming his quest to prove that his cousin Ben isn’t dead, despite everyone else believing it because of the evidence.

William’s belief that the body in Ben’s grave wasn’t Ben differs from what creator/bestselling author Diana Gabaldon wrote in her Written in My Own Heart's Blood novel, and she comments on that exclusively to Parade.

“General Roulon (the toy soldier) is show-only, not book,” Gabaldon explains. “Per book, William knows the man in Ben's grave isn't Ben, because he uncovers the corpse sufficiently as to discover that the man in that grave has no ears. (i.e., the man was a thief, and had had his ears cropped at some point prior to death--but he absolutely can't be Ben.)  I don't know whether the show just thought that was too gruesome, or didn't want to go through the convolutions that would have been necessary to explain to the audience what the absence of ears meant (or didn't want to show a half-decayed corpse sans ears...), or whether they just wanted to keep the waters muddy as to whether Ben was alive or not.

“With regard to the book, William knows Ben is alive, and goes looking for him, heading north to find the Continental Army.  The show didn't want to/didn't have time to deal with that part of the story (interesting as it is), so left the ‘maybe Ben's dead and maybe he's not’ strand somewhat vague.”

It’s important to find out the truth for several reasons mentioned in last week's recap. But also because there is a definite flirtation happening on the part of Amaranthus (Carla Woodcock), who gifts William with the vest she had embroidered for Ben and then later kisses him. I would think this would be confusing for William, since she’s supposed to be in mourning, but Gabaldon says otherwise.

“William and Amaranthus...I don't know that he's confused, but he is surprised, and his natural caution (he does have some, show appearances to the contrary) is aroused,” Gabaldon explains. “He thinks she's sexually attracted to him (she's certainly acting that way), but given the suddenness of her behavior (again, the show has a problem with having to squash things together in an improbably quick sequence, while the book can pursue a more nuanced evolution--though even in the book, William is somewhat surprised (but still aroused) by Amaranthus's...um...shall we say flirtatious? actions toward him.  He's definitely attracted to her, though.

“(Her motives are slightly ambiguous (only because the show-watchers don't know whether Ben's dead or not) but very rational.  She has a baby and no (evident) husband, nor any (known) means of support. Lord John is taking care of her and the baby for Ben's sake, but IF Ben is discovered to be alive (per show, we don't know whether she knows that or not), she may lose that support--in which case, she's going to need a new, wealthy husband, tout de suite.”

Meanwhile, over on Fraser’s Ridge, Claire's (Caitríona Balfe) skills as a doctor are tested when a free woman of color needs help giving birth to her baby. It turns out that it is actually twins and the babies are twisted together, so it is preventing them from being able to move down the birth canal.

But Claire gets the mother up on her feet and manages to get the babies separated. The male arrives first and he is healthy and hearty, but the girl, well, she comes out and she isn’t breathing. Claire tries her best to revive her, but it seems like it’s to no avail. And then, as if by miracle, the little girl comes to life.

It takes Claire back to her time in Paris when Master Raymond used his healing gift on her, and healed her with a blue light.

“Claire and the twin birth. Well, this is from the book. For what it's worth, there weren't a lot of Black people in the mountains of North Carolina at the time. Down on the coast, yes, but freed slaves (or more prosperous Black business people--and there were some of those) generally didn't have a strong reason for going up into the mountains.

“Still, this incident does happen in the book—Claire's resuscitation of the dying twin, though per book, Jamie also plays a part in this. But yes, Claire is discovering/developing her healing powers (we've seen these, in her and in other people, elsewhere in the books before this), and in this moment of extreme crisis, is able to reach the final spark of life in the dying child and hold onto long enough for the spark to grow and take hold again.”

Also on the Ridge, what we suspected finally came. Now we know for sure when Jamie exposes the false ally that Charles Cunningham (Kieran Bew) pretended to be. It began when Jamie heard gunshots and found Cleveland (Turlough Convery) had discovered two men smuggling guns on the Ridge and killed them and confiscated the guns. Fanny (Florrie May Wilkinson) identified them as the officers who were at the Trading Post, so Jamie, after searching the bodies and finding a strange letter in one of the men’s pockets, goes to confront Cunningham.

While there, Jamie finds the hidden key to break the code in the letter. Cunningham was forced to admit he isn't retired and that he was tasked with raising a militia. When Jamie said no, not on Fraser's Ridge, Cunningham pointed out that he thinks the men are more loyal to the King than they are to Jamie, who has been gone a long while, and that the quickest way to put an end to war and maybe Jamie's only choice to keep Fraser's Ridge, Fraser's Ridge when the war is over is to join forces with him.

“As to Cunningham and Jamie, this sequence is purely show--engineered to bring the Jamie/Cunningham conflict to a very quick boil,” Gabaldon said. “It's picking up the hint of confrontation and rivalry that started in the previous episode, and now we've got open conflict and struggle for the soul of the Ridge, so to speak. It's in keeping with the overall plot/notion of loyalties, but the context and pacing are much more condensed.”

Outlander will air new episodes each Friday at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms; and at 8 p.m. ET/PT/7 Central on the linear network.

Additionally, Stockard Channing, who played Kenickie's love interest, Rizzo, was also unhappy with the switch. “It’s Kenickie’s number! I was upset with it because I thought Jeff needed a number. John was very good at doing it, but it should have been Kenickie—it was Kenickie’s car!”

Ironically, Conway understudied for Danny Zuko in the original early '70s Broadway musical. Travolta, who was also in the cast, played T-Bird member, Doody.

In an interview with The Guardian, Jamie Donnelly, who played Jan, recalled the film being a lot different than the original stage version. She said that cast members who had been in the musical tried to create characters that had elements of both productions within them.

"The script was very different from the stage play, which was raunchier and a little more rough. Those of us who had been in the play were figuring out how we could put things back in again that had worked in the play, so it had the best of both worlds," she revealed.

Grease would go on to gross $396M worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. Jeff Conway died in 2011 at 60.

Contender’s most recent “ping” (a signal sent when his dorsal fin surfaces) placed him just off the coast near St. Augustine, along Florida’s northeast shoreline. 

This area is especially busy during spring break, with beaches filling up as temperatures rise. But while the idea of a massive great white nearby may sound alarming, OCEARCH researchers emphasize that sharks like Contender typically stay miles offshore and pose little risk to beachgoers.

Great white sharks migrate south toward warmer waters during the winter months and begin moving along the southeastern U.S. in late winter and early spring. Florida, with its warmer temperatures and abundant food supply, becomes a key stop along that route. 

Spring is also believed to overlap with breeding behavior, though scientists are still trying to pinpoint exactly where great whites mate. Tracking sharks like Contender could help answer that question, with researchers noting his movements may be tied to reproductive patterns.

While Contender was last detected near St. Augustine, sharks like him are constantly on the move.

Great whites can travel thousands of miles in a single year, often following the Gulf Stream and shifting between feeding and breeding grounds. 

Based on past tracking data, there are a few likely scenarios:

• He could continue moving south along Florida’s coast, potentially toward areas like Daytona Beach or even South Florida
• He may head into the Gulf Stream, staying offshore but parallel to the coastline
• Or, as spring progresses, he could begin migrating north again toward the Carolinas and New England

In fact, similar sharks have followed this exact path, moving from Florida up the East Coast as waters warm.

Contender isn’t alone. In recent weeks, several other large great white sharks have been tracked across U.S. waters:

• A shark named Bella was recently detected off Florida’s Gulf Coast near Sarasota 
• Another massive shark was spotted off Florida’s Space Coast, described by fishermen as “a monster” 
• In the past, sharks like Breton and Mahone have also traveled through Florida waters before heading north again 

This clustering of sightings highlights just how active shark migration is right now, especially along the southeastern coastline.

Short answer: not really.

While Florida consistently leads the U.S. in shark encounters, it’s largely because of how many people are in the water, not because sharks are actively targeting humans. In fact, the state accounts for about 38% of shark bite incidents worldwide, but most are non-fatal and extremely rare. 

Great whites, in particular, tend to stay farther offshore and are less commonly involved in nearshore encounters. The appearance of Contender near St. Augustine is a reminder that Florida’s waters are not just beautiful, they’re alive with some of the ocean’s most powerful creatures.

For scientists, it’s a rare opportunity to learn more about great white migration and breeding. For travelers, it’s a fascinating (and slightly thrilling) reminder of what lies beneath the surface.

So yes, there may be a 1,600-pound shark nearby but chances are, he’s far more interested in seals than spring breakers.

In early October 2024, Liam Payne came to Buenos Aires to watch Niall Horan perform. He'd been in the city for a visa renewal and timed the trip around Horan's show so they could catch up. By all accounts, it was a good night. 'It was great,' Horan told GQ in a recent interview. 'Seemed in good form and we had a good laugh, good reminisce.' Then Horan flew home, and they said goodbye.

Sixteen days later, Payne fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires and died. He was 31.

Horan has since written a song about losing him. It opens with these words: 'We had it / Pure magic / Remember what it was like / Time passes / So fast and / I couldn't tell you goodbye.'

The news reached Horan at home, while he was watching television in bed. 'I just remember getting a message,' he said. 'And I was just like, What?... I just didn't think it was real. Someone so young, you're not expecting to hear that they've passed, especially someone that you've just seen. I just went back from shock to sadness to anger.'

Horan and Payne had been bandmates since July 2010, when X Factor judges grouped five solo auditioners together and called them One Direction. Between 2010 and 2015 they recorded five studio albums, played roughly 524 live shows, and became one of the best-selling boy bands in history before going on indefinite hiatus in 2016. The bond forged in those years, Horan told GQ, was unlike anything else in his life. 'Memories that only he and I can share 'cause you have a team and you have people around all the time,' he said. 'But we always said that only us have that experience, no one else has that.'

He described the ease of their Buenos Aires reunion the way his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson had once put it: 'I heard Louis talking about this recently, it's so true. It's like you haven't seen each other in ages and then you just fall back in like it was 10 years ago.'

After Payne's funeral, where Horan mourned alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, social media flooded with old photos, videos, and years of fan archives. Horan found himself submerged in it. 'Lots of photos and videos and things of us growing up together,' he said. 'And being nostalgic about it straight away, along with fear and sadness and all the stuff that comes with grief.' He says he 'went into hiding a little bit' to process it all.

Eventually he sat down to write. 'End of an Er'a is the closing track on his forthcoming fourth solo album, Dinner Party, due June 5. He wrote it with longtime collaborators Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, who had known both Horan and Payne since they were teenagers. 'We rewrote it two, three times maybe, just trying to get the essence of the feeling,' Bunetta told GQ. 'We just kept working on it until we felt it was right. It could be easy to not write about it because it's a hard subject. It's a hard thing to do. So I'm proud of him for doing it.'

The lead single, also called 'Dinner Party,' is out now.

Counting On star Josh Duggar sent a message from prison about his brother Joseph Duggar's arrest and child molestation charges.

On Friday, March 20, Josh, 38—who is currently serving more than 12 years behind bars after his child sexual abuse material (CSAM) conviction—released a statement through his attorney about his younger brother, Joseph, 31.

Josh said that the allegations against his younger brother "deeply saddened" him, telling the Daily Mail, "Josh understands the stigma of being accused."

The statement through Josh's attorney continued, "He lives with the painful reality of how false accusations can destroy a life. He understands how the targeting of a person for publicity can twist the truth into sensationalized fiction."

On March 17, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida arrested Joseph and charged him with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. A March 18 Facebook statement news release detailed the alleged crimes involving Joseph, an Arkansas native, and a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation in Florida.

“The 14-year-old victim participated in a forensic interview, where she disclosed several incidents involving Duggar that occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9-years-old,” it read.

The news release continued, “The victim reported Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap. As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs. The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions and the incidents stopped after the apology.”

Joseph's first court appearance is set for March 20.

For Yumna Jawad, the entrepreneur, social media influencer and recipe developer behind Feel Good Foodie, a pan of nutty, buttery baklava has always been a sweet way to celebrate important moments with family and friends. 

"I always remember my mom making baklava during Ramadan and especially at the end of Ramadan for Eid al-Fitr," she says. "It was the ultimate sign of celebration in my family. She would make double or triple the normal batch during the holidays."

The only issue? Brushing the fragile layers of phyllo dough with butter, layering the pastry with sugared nuts and soaking it all with syrup can take a while. Luckily, Jawad has found a faster, easier way to make baklava that tastes just as good as the classic version but takes a fraction of the time. 

We chatted with Jawad about her streamlined baklava recipe, plus tips and tricks she's picked up after years of baking baklava. Here's what you need to know.

"Traditional baklava is made by layering about 50-60 sheets of phyllo with clarified butter or ghee in the middle," says Jawad.

That process is time-consuming and can be a little frustrating because the papery pastry can rip and tear as you brush it with butter and can dry out while you're working with it. Jawad's streamlined method skips the buttering altogether, which cuts out so much time and frustration.

"I now divide all those sheets into two thick layers of phyllo with the nuts and sugar mixture in the middle," she says. "But the secret is to cut the layers and then pour the clarified butter or ghee on top and give it 10 minutes to soak into the layers of phyllo before baking." This shortcut method cuts the prep time of the dessert from an hour to 15 minutes.

Nothing's sadder than soggy baklava, but Jawad has a trick to make sure the dessert comes out beautifully browned and crispy. 

"The key is to use clarified butter instead of melted butter," she says. "The difference between the two is what makes baklava layers crisp and flaky. That’s because regular butter contains too much moisture. When melted, it separates into the fat component and liquid components. The fat portion is what becomes clarified butter and what should be used to make baklava to ensure the layers don’t come out soggy."

You can buy clarified butter or ghee at Indian markets and some supermarkets.

Perfectly cut pieces of baklava look so pretty on a platter, but the delicate phyllo can be a little challenging to slice. Jawad has a process that she likes to use to make cutting baklava easier. 

"The goal is to cut the baklava into diamonds," she says. "The easiest way to do it is by making four cuts lengthwise first and pointing the knife down at an angle to make sure to cut through all the layers of the phyllo. Then make eight cuts crosswise on the diagonal, holding down the phyllo sheets with your other hand to keep everything steady."

Four years ago, Everything Everywhere All at Once blindsided Hollywood. The scrappy, strange, multiverse-hopping film from directing duo the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) swept the Oscars, winning seven awards including Best Picture, and became a genuine cultural phenomenon. Now fans finally have something concrete to look forward to, and the scope of it is turning heads.

Speaking with Collider's Steve Weintraub at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas where Kwan's new documentary The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist screened ahead of its theatrical debut, the filmmaker confirmed that the duo's next feature will begin shooting this summer and land in theaters in November 2027.

And if you thought Everything Everywhere was big, prepare yourself. Kwan told Weintraub flat out: 'IMAX all the way.'

The untitled sci-fi action comedy will be shot predominantly in IMAX, marking a significant leap for filmmakers whose last movie wasn't even originally formatted for the giant screen. Kwan was passionate explaining why the format matters, comparing the theater experience to fine wine: 'You can drink wine out of a proper glass, or you can drink it out of a paper cup. There's nothing wrong with drinking it out of a paper cup, I do that all the time. But when you have the opportunity to drink it out of a glass that is designed to get the aromas and get the color, and the whole experience is designed for this specific vessel, it just really elevates the whole thing.'

He went further, describing something almost physiological about the IMAX experience. 'You're literally looking up, it actually triggers something in your brain to trigger awe, and you can't get that on your couch.'

As for what the film is actually about, Kwan is keeping plot details close to the chest, though he did joke with Weintraub, 'It's called Star Wars 10. Exactly.' What he will say is that the movie reflects where the world is right now, which, he acknowledges, is a complicated place. 'What we're feeling and what we're hearing from the world is very complex and really nuanced, and there's so much paradox,' he said. 'To reconcile all those things and put them into one movie, it takes time.'

Fans anxious about the nearly six-year gap since Everything Everywhere can take comfort in Kwan's promise: 'It's going to be fun sci-fi, action comedy with a big heart. Very existential. All those things that you would hope that one of our movies would be.'

Some trees, as Kwan put it, just take longer to grow. Based on what he's describing, this one might be worth every year of the wait.

A retired Pima County homicide detective says the circumstances surrounding Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance could point to multiple people being involved, offering a new theory as the case enters its sixth week. In an exclusive interview with Parade on March 19, Kurt Dabb weighed in on the individual the internet has dubbed "porch guy," as well as the possibility that the crime required coordination behind the scenes.

Dabb, a combat infantry veteran of Operation Desert Storm, explained that, based on the available details, cases like this often require coordination, leading him to believe there may be "two to four accomplices." While authorities have not confirmed that theory, the insight offers a new perspective as investigators continue to follow leads and piece together what happened.

First, given the consensus that Guthrie's home was previously canvassed by the people involved in her disappearance, based on the reports that "porch guy" was captured on her Google Nest weeks before her disappearance, Parade asked Dabb if the individual would have known about the camera at Guthrie's front door.

"It’s more than likely the home was canvassed prior, either by the kidnapper himself or an accomplice," Dabb replies. "Whether or not they knew a camera was there was a culmination of their reconnoiter."

Parade also asked Dabb if he thinks that "porch guy" acted alone. "I do not," he says. "I believe there are anywhere between two to four accomplices. The logistics of something of this magnitude is too much for one person to handle in my professional opinion based on the facts as I know them right now."

Interestingly, Dabb agrees with other experts that the Guthrie case is not a result of a burglary gone bad.

"I see nothing different on the video than what is publicly known. That being said, burglars don’t go to burglarize a house with a full backpack. This was a kidnapping," he tells me. This echoes what former FBI agent Greg Rogers told Parade earlier this month.

“I have never thought this was a robbery gone wrong,” Rogers told Parade exclusively. "There were too many opportunities to have hit the house when nobody was home. There are a good number of interstate home burglars that are much more careful, case homes, know when the owners are away, and are in and out in minutes. They do not hit residences when it is almost guaranteed someone is home."

Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Authorities are still working on leads, but have not publicly identified a suspect. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI).

Legendary supergroup Hollywood Vampires are back and giving fans more than just a show.

After years of anticipation, the classic hard rock band consisting of members Alice Cooper, longtime guitarist Tommy Henriksen, award-winning actor Johnny Depp and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry will embark on a much-awaited tour in the U.K. and Europe this year.

Following the announcement regarding the tour dates and location, Hollywood Vampires shared new details about the VIP passes.

According to Perry, the band couldn't be more excited for the reunion, with scheduling being their only real challenge.

"I'm still pinching myself this band actually got moving, because everybody's got other things going on," he told radio host Eddie Trunk in 2025. "Especially Johnny. It's not like, 'I can't do it this day.' It's like, 'I can't do it this month.' When he's on a project, he's got to carve out months. And even then, he has to be available for things."

Twenty-four years ago, Fox premiered a comedy that would earn near-perfect critical praise before disappearing almost as quickly as it arrived. Andy Richter Controls the Universe debuted on March 19, 2002, and by the time it ended on January 12, 2003, only 14 of its 19 produced episodes had actually aired. Its second season later achieved a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, making the cancellation even harder to justify.

The series featured Paget Brewster, Irene Molloy, Jonathan Slavin, and James PatrickStuart, and marked a turning point for Andy Richter, who stepped into the lead role as a fictionalized version of himself. He had left Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2000 to pursue acting, and this was his first major starring vehicle. Richter held his own opposite a stacked ensemble in a smart, character-driven comedy that has since been cited as a forerunner to Arrested Development.

Created by Victor Fresco, the show followed Richter as an aspiring writer stuck producing technical manuals at Pickering Industries. To escape the routine, he drifted into elaborate daydreams and imagined scenarios that reshaped how each story played out. That mix of fantasy, narration, and grounded office humor gave the show a voice unlike anything else on television at the time.

It also helped that the series leaned into a single-camera format without a laugh track, something that would later define shows like Scrubs and The Office. The A.V. Club later praised the show’s fantasy-heavy structure and described it as an “endlessly clever, dead-before-its-time sitcom.”

None of that was enough to keep it alive. Fox moved the show around the schedule, airing Season 1 on Tuesday nights before shifting Season 2 between Sundays and Tuesdays with little consistency. Promotion was minimal. Brewster later said the cast "definitely got the impression that we weren't welcome on the network" at the time.

Over the years, the audience it never got on Fox found it anyway. Fans regularly mention the show alongside titles like Freaks and Geeks and Firefly when talking about cancellations that still sting. Its influence also shows up in the careers it helped shape. The writer's room included Matthew Weiner, who went on to create Mad Men, and Will Gluck, who directed Easy A and Friends with Benefits.

Richter has spoken proudly about the series in the years since its cancellation, even as he acknowledged how hard its end hit him. In 2012, he said he was “profoundly disappointed” when Fox pulled the show and spent “the better part of a year in a funk over it.”

As for whether the show could ever see a revival, Richter has been realistic. In a 2020 interview with PopCulture, he said the series was built around a younger version of himself, adding, “I don’t think I could really sell that anymore.”

Fresco went on to create Better Off Ted for ABC and Santa Clarita Diet for Netflix. Both became cult favorites. Both were also canceled too soon.

"It tells us that she understands her role in the institution. She respects its weight, and isn’t trying to make it about herself," Matta concluded.

This sentiment is also echoed by the way the Princess of Wales dresses. The Daily Mailspoke to fashion stylist Lisa Talbot, who believes the beloved princess is deliberately sending a message of calm.
