Beloved NBC Medical Drama Returns Tomorrow With Final 6 Episodes After Shocking Cancellation
The medical drama with one of TV's most unusual leads is back for one last run.
Zachary Quinto's Brilliant Minds returns to NBC on Wednesday, May 27 at 8 p.m. ET with the final six episodes of Season 2, capping a series the network pulled the plug on earlier this month. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
NBC officially canceled Brilliant Minds on May 1 after two seasons, with showrunner Michael Grassi confirming the news to the cast. The show had been pulled from the NBC schedule back in February, leaving fans with a cliffhanger and no clear return date for months.
When viewers last saw Dr. Oliver Wolf, the neurologist loosely inspired by Dr. Oliver Sacks, he had been treating a patient who turned out to be entirely imaginary. Wednesday's return episode finds Wolf missing, with Dr. Carol Pierce and his ex Josh leading the search. Quinto himself directs one of the show's final installments.

A Stacked Guest Cast for the Final RunThe remaining episodes lean hard into star power. Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter, joins as a psychiatric patient named Regan. Ed Begley Jr. plays Duke, a patriarch grappling with memory loss. Ana Ortiz from Ugly Betty appears as Alyssa Rivera, an ex-con working through a new diagnosis. Anne Archer also signs on for an arc.
The supporting bench has been a calling card for the show all along, drawing names like Porsha Williams in the Season 2 premiere and the late Eric Dane, whose haunting ALS arc earlier this season left fans in tears.
Brilliant Minds airs its final episodes Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Over 60% of Americans Don't Understand This Important Social Security Fact
For years, I have heard older members of my family talk about the future of the Social Security Administration (SSA). And while those conversations almost always ended with the unanimous opinion that the SSA would run out of money before I was old enough to retire, nobody ever explained what that meant.
Now, in my mid-40s, I hear people my age talking about the same thing, and it doesn't sound like much has changed over the years, except for the date they think the funds will run out. However, a new study suggests it's not just the folks in my immediate circle who don't know what the future of the SSA looks like, as 64 percent of those questioned didn't understand this key component. Keep reading to find out what it is.
64 Percent of Americans Don't Know What Happens When the SSA Runs Out of MoneyWhen you hear (or read) that the SSA is running out of money, with many experts saying the fund has less than 10 years left, many people don't exactly know what that means. According to a new AARP survey viewed by The Motley Fool, approximately 64 percent of respondents don't know what happens when the account used to fund Social Security payments runs out of money.
Their predictions broke down as follows:
- 34 percent say benefits will be paid at a lower amount
- 36 percent say no benefits will be paid
- 28 percent said that they had no idea what would happen
- 47 percent believe that payments would be cut in half
So who is right? 34 percent of people were correct in their belief that benefits would be paid, but just at a lower amount than before.
What Happens When Social Security Runs OutAccording to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, the funds that support Social Security retirement payments could become insolvent as early as late 2032. Meanwhile, the official Social Security Trustees Report places the depletion date just a year later, in 2033. Whichever timeline holds true, the ultimate conclusion is a scary one: if Congress does not intervene, benefits will immediately drop to roughly 72% to 77% of what retirees are currently owed.
That is obviously a daunting reality for anyone currently claiming benefits or expecting to claim them in the near future. However, experts say you don't need to panic... yet. That's because many pros suggest people put more time and money into alternative retirement plans, like 401(k)s and IRAs, especially when they can leverage their employer's contribution or match program. While Social Security has been a lifesaver for so many over the years, it looks like it will only serve as a supplement to other retirement programs for people in the future...

Jersey Mike’s ‘Finally’ Brings Back Popular Sub That Sold Out Almost Instantly for a Limited Time
Jersey Mike's is giving customers what they want this summer with the return of a beloved seasonal sandwich due to popular demand.
After its breakout debut in 2025, selling out almost instantly nationwide, the fast food franchise revealed that it's bringing back Chicken Salad for the summer.
For a limited-time, the returning option will be available at more than 3,200 store locations nationwide, giving fans what they crave while prioritizing fresh ingredients and quality.
Stacy Peterson, President and Chief Operating Officer of Jersey Mike's Subs, expressed that it wasn't a hard decision to make, considering that following the launch of Chicken Salad last summer, they "saw it sell out across the country in mere weeks."
"We knew we had to give our fans the chance to savor it again this summer," she added.
Whether you were one of the lucky few to try it last season or missed out on the hype, your chance to pick it up has returned. Jersey Mike’s Chicken Salad features tender chunks of roasted chicken breast tossed in a creamy mayonnaise dressing, along with diced celery and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Chicken salad is a go-to choice for the warmer months, as it's perfect for picnics, beach days, backyard gatherings, or even a quick lunch.
It’s light yet filling, without the heaviness of fried or hot dishes, served cold with no need to reheat, and often features sweet, slightly tangy seasonal ingredients. And while it’s easy enough to make on its own, it’s even better when you can order it from the Jersey Mike’s menu, as it's customizable, so you can grab it as a sub, wrap, or bowl, and even served "'Mike's Way," with "the Juice" for the brand's signature flavor."
The brand shared the news on Instagram, simply writing, "You're welcome," with many of the comments demanding it become a permanent menu addition instead.

'Desperate Housewives' Star Drops a Major Bombshell About the Show
Eva Longoria knows that the majority of her fans know her thanks to the eight seasons she played Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives. And then there are those who are watching it again -- or for the first time -- on Hulu and Disney+.
"Everybody's re-watching it," she told Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his Dinner's On Me podcast. "It was like number two the other day on the streaming." Even so, don't expect her to tune in anytime soon to see what the fuss was all about.
'I'm Fine, I Made It'"I keep getting notifications, like, 'Do you want to watch Housewives?' No, I don't," she said. "I'm fine, I made it."
After telling Ferguson that she hadn't re-watched it, she admitted that she'd actually never watched it. She then claimed that, even though she knew that the current trend is to reboot popular shows from the '90s and '00s, it's never going to happen for Desperate Housewives.
View this post on Instagram"Marc says no, Marc never wants to," she said, referring to series creator Marc Cherry.
Longoria explained how much longer seasons used to be, with Desperate Housewives averaging 17-24 episodes per year. "There's none of this six to eight bulls--t," she continued. "So Marc's like, 'We fully mined the characters.'"
She then joked that Gabrielle couldn't "sleep with one more person on the street. Like, I literally slept with everybody."
When Desperate Housewives premiered in 2004, the primetime soap opera quickly catapulted Longoria to fame. The series also starred Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, and Teri Hatcher. Huffman won an Emmy Award in 2005 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Kathryn Joosten, who portrayed nosy neighbor Karen McCluskey, won for Outstanding Guest Actress in both 2005 and 2008.
A New Chapter: The 'Wisteria Lane' Spin-offA reboot with the original cast may not be in the future, but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of the drama-filled suburban cul-de-sac. In 2025, Kerry Washington's production company, Simpson Street, announced that it was producing a spin-off, called Wisteria Lane. Washington gave an update in Dec. 2025.
"We're deep in development right now," she told TODAY. "The thing is, I'm such a fan of the original franchise, and friends with those folks, Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria. So we're only going to do this when we feel like it's really, really right."
We Asked 4 Cardiac Dietitians About the Best Drink To Lower Blood Pressure and They All Said the Same Thing
Being diagnosed with high blood pressure is a wake-up call for your health. Also known as hypertension, high blood pressure is linked to a higher-than-usual risk of developing heart disease and stroke, making it crucial to do what you can to turn things around.
Nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure, and it’s a condition that requires careful management. “Because it is complex, management often requires a combination of lifestyle changes and medication when needed,” Alison McLaughlin, RD, LDN, a clinical dietitian who focuses on cardiology patients at the Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts Medical Center, tells Parade. Doing things like staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and following a nutritious diet can help get your numbers into a range you and your doctor can feel good about.
But while there’s a lot you can do to lower your blood pressure, there’s one drink in particular that can make a big impact. This isn’t the only thing you should do to lower your blood pressure, of course, but research suggests there’s something to sipping this beverage regularly to get your numbers down.
Dietitians are on board with using this drink to lower blood pressure, too. Here’s why.
🩺SIGN UP for tips to stay healthy & fit with the top moves, clean eats, health trends & more delivered right to your inbox twice a week💊
The Best Drink To Lower Blood Pressure, According to 4 Cardiac DietitiansIt’s beet juice. “Beets are a source of nitrates, which your body converts to nitric oxide,” says Julia Zumpano, RD, a nutritionist at Cleveland Clinic. “That can relax and widen your blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing pressure on your vessels.”
Nicole Roach, RD, lead dietitian at Northwell’s Lenox Hill Hospital, also suggests sipping on beet juice. "Beets also contain potassium, another blood pressure-lowering electrolyte," she tells Parade.
But while noshing on beets will have some impact on your blood pressure, “beet juice provides a more concentrated source of nitrates,” Zumpano says. Beets are also antioxidants and fiber—both of which also support cardiovascular health and blood pressure, explains Mary Mosquera Cochran, RD, a dietitian at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Related: What Your Blood Pressure Risk Looks Like by Decade—and How To Keep Yours in Check
There aren’t huge bodies of research to support drinking beet juice to lower blood pressure, but there are a few smaller clinical trials. One 2019 double blind, randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial had healthy participants drink either beet juice or a placebo beet drink with the nitrates removed. The researchers discovered that when the participants drank the regular beet juice, their systolic blood pressure dropped by 5.2 mmHg on average within 30 minutes. (Systolic blood pressure is the top number in a blood pressure reading, which tells the maximum pressure inside your arteries when your heart beats, per the American Heart Association).
A scientific review published in 2022 of seven studies that included 218 people found that drinking beet juice led to “significant changes” in systolic blood pressure, with an average drop of about 5 mmHg.
“Among beverages studied, beetroot juice has the strongest evidence for lowering systolic blood pressure with regular intake,” McLaughlin says.

Drinks To Avoid When Trying to Manage Blood PressureIf your blood pressure is high, your healthcare provider may recommend going on a low-salt diet to try to lower your numbers, Roach says. That’s why she suggests being “mindful” of drinks that contain salt.
Those can include electrolyte-based sports drinks like Gatorade and Powerade, along with some vegetable juices, she says.
How To Create a Blood Pressure-Friendly DietIt’s important to talk to your healthcare provider before changing your diet to lower your blood pressure, but most will recommend going on a low-sodium diet, Roach says. The American Heart Association recommends having no more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium a day, and ideally limiting yourself to no more than 1,500 milligrams a day.
Roach suggests leaning into salt-free cooking alternatives like garlic, pepper, onion, cumin, basil and cilantro, opting for fresh produce over canned goods, and asking for any sauces, gravies or condiments on the side when you eat out.
Related: Here’s Exactly What Happens to Your Blood Pressure When You Drink Water
Zumpano also recommends doing what you can to increase your potassium intake, since potassium can help your body get rid of excess sodium. “Potassium-rich foods include leafy greens, avocado, banana, potatoes, beans, nuts and tomatoes,” she says.
If beets aren’t your thing, Cochran suggests having other nitric oxide-rich foods like garlic, leafy greens and dark chocolate.
It’s important to keep an active lifestyle, too. “Regular aerobic exercise can lower high blood pressure by about 5 to 8 mm Hg,” Roach says. “It's important to keep exercising regularly to maintain these benefits.”
Of course, high blood pressure is complicated, and it can be caused by a range of factors. Ultimately, it’s a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider about the best lifestyle moves you can make to lower your blood pressure.

Costco Brought Back the Space-Saving Organizer That Works in Every Room
If a single piece of furniture could fix clutter in almost any room, it would look something like this returning Costco favorite. Picture a bedroom where clothes start spilling out of a dresser, a bathroom counter that never seems clear, or an office desk that slowly disappears under small supplies. That kind of everyday mess is exactly where a simple rolling storage solution can make a noticeable difference. I definitely need one (or three).
A Fan-Favorite Storage Solution Returns to Costco View this post on InstagramCostco has brought back a popular space-saving organizer that shoppers have been waiting for. The three-tier mesh rolling cart from Edifice is a flexible storage option that can move easily from room to room while keeping everyday essentials organized and within reach.
User @costco_empties shows off the find, featuring a powder-coated steel frame with a faux-wood top that adds a more polished look compared to basic utility carts. Each of the three drawers is made from durable mesh, allowing visibility of contents without needing to open or label everything. The drawers glide smoothly for quick access, and the 360-degree swivel wheels make it easy to roll the cart across different floor types.
This useful Costco storage find comes in black or white, making it easier to match with different home styles. At $59.99, it's an affordable organizational upgrade.
This returning Costco favorite can function as a compact dresser alternative in bedrooms, a storage station for toiletries in bathrooms, a supply hub in home offices or a catch-all organizer in living rooms and entryways.

Why This Rolling Cart Works in Every RoomThe appeal of this type of organizer comes down to adaptability and visibility. Instead of committing to a fixed storage setup, a rolling cart can shift roles as needs change in the home. It can hold folded clothing for one month, craft supplies the next and seasonal items when needed.
The tiered design helps separate categories of items without requiring additional bins or drawer inserts. And because the cart is mobile, it works well in shared spaces where storage needs may change throughout the day.
Durability is another factor that makes it a long-term storage solution. The steel frame supports heavier items without warping, and the mesh drawers are less likely to crack compared to plastic alternatives.
For households looking to simplify organization without major renovations or permanent furniture changes, this $60 Costco rolling cart offers a flexible, reusable storage solution that can evolve with the home.

Costco Issues Urgent Recall for Multivitamin That May Contain Metal Fragments
Costco customers in Canada may need to check their medicine cabinets, as a multivitamin sold at the warehouse giant has been recalled due to it potentially containing metal fragments.
On May 21, the Canadian government issued a health recall for Kirkland Signature Women 50+ multivitamins, stating that they “may contain the presence of foreign matter.” The national recall furthermore states that consumers should “discontinue use of the affected product. Consult your healthcare provider for any health concerns.”

The vitamins, made by Vita Health Products Inc. in Winnipeg, Canada, come in a white pill bottle with a silver and purple label. The affected tablets, which may contain metal fragments, were part of lot number 5J46568W7. The Canadian government urges consumers to check to see if their product was affected, to consult with their healthcare provider prior to discontinuing their use of the product, and to contact the recalling firm if they have any questions.
“Costco Wholesale records indicate you may have purchased Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets (Costco Item 7013050) at a Costco warehouse or on Costco.ca between February 2026 and May 2026,” the retailer said in a urgent recall e-mail sent to consumers. “Please do not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute the Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets that are being recalled. You may return the Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets to a Costco warehouse to obtain a full refund,” it continued.

The Kirkland Signature Women 50+ Multivitamin currently has an average 4.1 out of 5 star rating on the Costco Canada website, where consumers say it is “the best value in a multi-vitamin,” calling the $27.99 Canadian ($20.26 US) bottle of 365 tablets “very affordable.”
Although Costco in the United States also sells several multivitamin products specifically for people over 50, including some for women, the affected Canadian multivitamin is not available for purchase in the United States. The Kirkland Signature Adult 50+ Mature multivitamin is designed for both men and women over 50, as is the Centrum Silver Adults 50+ Multivitamin. Centrum also makes multivitamins under its silver line for men and women, with more vitamins E, K, B6, B12, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, manganese, and chromium in the men’s version. The women’s version has more folate, calcium, magnesium, and selenium. One a Day also sells men’s and women’s 50+ vitamins at Costco.

Mackenzie Shirilla Sent a Text to Boyfriend's Mother After Fatal Crash— Here's What it Said
Mackenzie Shirilla is making headlines once again after new information was uncovered in a 2024 Ohio Court of Appeals opinion upholding her conviction.
In court documents obtained by Parade, the opinion states that Shirilla sent a text to Christine Russo, the mother of her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, who was killed when Shirilla drove her Toyota Camry into a brick wall while going 100 mph.
“I remember turning onto the street, and then my vision fades to black," Shirilla wrote in the text. "It really kills me not to be able to remember anything. I promise you I would tell you. I’ve been asking my therapist why I don’t remember, and she said it’s because of trauma. I’m gonna try to get myself hypnotized and make myself remember."
Shirilla, who was 17 at the time of the crash, has repeatedly said that she doesn't have any recollection of what happened before hitting the wall.
About four months after the crash that claimed the lives of Shirilla's boyfriend and another mutual friend, Davion Flanagan, the then-teen was taken into custody. Following a bench trial, a judge found Shirilla guilty on four counts of murder, four counts of felonious assault, two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count each of drug possession and possessing criminal tools.
Now at age 21, Shirilla is serving concurrent 15-year-to-life sentences at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. She is eligible for parole in 2037.
Shirilla is featured in the Netflix documentary The Crash, which has become a massive streaming hit since its May 15 release.
1985 Feel-Good Rock Anthem Just Passed a Major Milestone Despite Never Hitting No. 1
So, there’s yacht rock. And then, there’s boat music. And Dire Straits’ 1985 feel-good rock anthem “Walk of Life” is the ultimate boat music.
It’s the kind of uplifting track -- with its catchy keyboard intro, sing-along chorus, and crowd-pleasing energy -- that you crank up while reeling in the ski rope, drying off from a day on the water, then cracking open an ice-cold soda. And it looks like we’re not alone, because the tune just surpassed a major milestone: one billion streams on Spotify.
View this post on InstagramJoining 1978's “Sultans of Swing,” “Walk of Life” is the band's second track to join the elite Spotify Billions Club. Released on their landmark album, Brothers in Arms, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on Nov. 2, 1985, at No. 61, peaking on Jan. 25, 1986, at No. 7.
Written by frontman-slash-guitarist Mark Knopfler, the track is a celebration of British buskers and was constructed as an homage to 1950s rock and roll. However, once Americans got their hands on the London band’s track, it naturally took on a little red-white-and-blue flavor of its own. Particularly with the music video, according to Songfacts.
While the original visuals stay loyal to the lyrics, featuring a busker performing on the London Tube, the version that exploded all over MTV leaned fully into American sports culture, packed with locker room celebrations, bloopers, and the band rocking out between clips of baseball and football highlights.
Fun side note: The Philadelphia Phillies pitcher seen in the video is the late, great Tug McGraw, father of country superstar Tim McGraw.
Over time, the infectious radio hit became an essential part of American sports culture and remains a staple at Major League stadiums to this day. Not to mention, it's still a must-play track topping our “boat music” playlist.

'70s Country Legend and Son of Grammy-Winning Artist Turns 77
Country music royalty is celebrating a major birthday milestone.
Hank Williams Jr. turned 77 on Tuesday, marking another chapter in one of the most influential careers in country music history.
As the son of legendary country pioneer Hank Williams, Williams Jr. was born into one of the genre's most famous musical families. His father remains one of the most celebrated figures in country music history and earned multiple Grammy Awards honors posthumously while helping shape the foundation of modern country songwriting.
From an early age, Hank Jr. was expected to continue that legacy.
As a child performer in the 1960s, he initially built his career singing his father's songs and closely mirroring the elder Williams' style. But over time, he fought to establish his own artistic identity and eventually transformed himself into one of country music's most distinctive stars.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Williams Jr. blended outlaw country, Southern rock and blues influences into a tougher, more rebellious sound that helped redefine mainstream country music. Hits including "Family Tradition," "A Country Boy Can Survive," and "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" turned him into one of the genre's biggest stars.
His music connected strongly with fans because of its unapologetic individuality and blue-collar attitude, helping make him one of the defining voices of outlaw country and Southern rock-influenced country music.
"I think radio stations like to call it progressive country," Williams Jr. said of his musical style in a 1979 interview. "Some of them like to call it country rock. We call ours new South mostly, new country."
Williams Jr. also earned enormous commercial success throughout his career, winning multiple Grammy Awards and becoming one of country music’s most recognizable entertainers. Beyond his music, he became deeply embedded in American pop culture thanks to his long-running association with Monday Night Football, where his opening theme songs became instantly recognizable to generations of television viewers.
"I am and always have been a football guy," Williams Jr. told Taste of Country. "My relationship with 'Monday Night Football' lasted 21 years, which is unprecedented for any theme song to be on the air that long."
Over the decades, Williams Jr. remained both celebrated and controversial, but his influence on modern country music has never been in doubt.
Now at 77, he continues to stand as a bridge between classic country history and the outlaw movement that reshaped the genre decades later.
For many fans, Hank Williams Jr. ultimately accomplished something extraordinarily difficult: honoring a legendary family name while building an iconic legacy entirely his own.

Lil' Wayne Secretly Engaged to 20-Year-Old Indiana Woman
Looks like wedding bells may be ringing for Lil Wayne, and fans had no idea.
According to a Tuesday, May 26 report from TMZ, the rapper is reportedly secretly engaged to a woman in her 20s from Indiana after allegedly popping the question earlier this year.
While Wayne himself hasn’t publicly confirmed the news, the report quickly sent fans into a frenzy online, especially given how private the rapper has become about his personal life in recent years.
Over the years, the rapper has been linked to several high-profile relationships, including model La’Tecia Thomas, singer Nivea, and rapper Trina. Wayne was also previously engaged to Thomas before the pair split in 2020. Before that, he and Nivea were also engaged before calling things off.
Wayne is also a father of four. He welcomed daughter Reginae Carter in 1998 with then-girlfriend Toya Johnson when he was just 16 years old. The pair later married in 2004 before divorcing two years later.
The rapper later welcomed three sons: Dwayne Carter III with radio host Sarah Vivan in 2008, Kameron Carter with Lauren London in 2009, and Neal Carter with Nivea later that same year. Several of Wayne’s children have already started exploring music themselves, with his sons appearing on his 2020 mixtape No Ceilings 3 alongside their famous father.
Wayne is kicking off a tour with 2-Chainz and The Game on June 30 in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of Tha Carter. The album was released on June 29, 2004, and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, featuring major tracks like “Go DJ,” “Bring It Back,” and “BM J.R.”
So far, Wayne nor his reps have publicly commented on the engagement reports.
Authorities Investigate Possible Serial Killer in Popular Vacation Hotspot
There may be a serial killer on the loose in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Three women in their early to mid-30s have been killed in the area over the course of 11 days. Authorities are looking through evidence in hopes of determining whether or not the three cases are related.
Page Six reports that all three of the deceased shared several similarities. In addition to their ages, the women all had tattoos. Additionally, their "bodies were partially undressed and found in isolated areas," according to police. Investigators are now reviewing evidence from each case to determine whether the similarities point to a single suspect or unrelated incidents.
The similarities have raised concerns amongst locals and tourists in the popular coastal destination, though local authorities have not confirmed the presence of a serial killer. Officials say the investigation remains ongoing as they work to piece together the circumstances surrounding each death.
Puerto Vallarta, located on Mexico's west coast, welcomes more than 6 million visitors every year, according to travel website Out & About Puerto Vallarta.
According to the U.S. Department of State, Mexico has been under a Level 2 travel advisory since August 2025. In the State of Jalisco—where Puerto Vallarta is located—a Level 3 advisory is in place, due to cartel and gang violence as well as kidnapping risks. The advisory warns travelers to exercise increased caution in certain areas of the region.
The U.S. Department of State has not commented on the recent murders of three women in the area, but its website clearly states that there "are no restrictions" for travel to Puerto Vallarta.

Bettina Anderson Drops New Donald Trump Jr. Wedding Photos — and One Detail Has Everyone Talking
Did Donald Trump Jr.’s brand-new bride just share photos of the couple’s Memorial Day weekend wedding in the Bahamas? Based on her Instagram Stories, it certainly looks like she did.
While Bettina Anderson has already posted a few quasi-cryptic pics (one of her hand in Don Jr.’s showcasing the pair’s wedding bands, another with a silky piece of white fabric embroidered with “Mrs. Trump,” and yet another with a Jane Austen love quote), her newest carousel includes a few more clues.
What Did Bettina Anderson Just Post On Instagram? The bride’s recent rash of social media pics certainly aren't the first photos of the May 23 event. Or, was it on the 23rd (we’ll get to that soon!)? Her new sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, first shared several snapshots from the family gathering on her Instagram Stories (on Monday evening) and then as a permanent post the next day. Likewise, Anderson’s other SILs, Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump, also revealed glimpses of the intimate tropical affair. Lara even included one group shot with what appears to be a wedding reception/rehearsal dinner buffet in the background.
View this post on InstagramAnderson posted the latest round of pictures to her Stories on Tuesday afternoon, sharing a seaside ‘drive-in’ of sorts. The first new photo shows what appear to be her feet under a blanket on the sand, with a giant inflatable outdoor movie screen off in the distance. Zoom in, and the image projected on the screen looks like Anderson and Trump Jr. walking down a tropical tree-lined beach. At the forefront of the shot is a handmade ticket-shaped lollipop with the words “The Trump Theatre, Admit One.” But that’s not all.
Along with the cute “Trump Theatre” ticket theme, the lollipop also has a string of numbers written on each side—052526, leading to speculation that the numbers equal the wedding date...05/25/26. Yes, that’s May 25th, not the rumored May 23rd date. Of course, neither Bettina nor Don Jr. has confirmed the actual date of their wedding.
Anderson also shared another pic from the Trump Theatre movie night. This one is a scene from one of the most romantic films of all time (The Princess Bride) and includes two more lollipops, each with a quote from the flick: “I will always come for you” and “A love like this is inconceivable.”
The new bride also revealed a possible look at her new initials (maybe?). Anderson shows a shot of the scenic surroundings and a white clutch, emblazoned with a green palm tree and the letters “BT.”
While her latest social media share offered more insight, fans are still waiting to see more. After all, we’ve seen what Ivanaka wore, we’ve seen what Lara wore, and we’ve seen what Tiffany wore. But what about the bride?
1986 Cult Classic With 'Iconic' Kurt Russell Lines Made This Director Quit Hollywood
These days, you can see him on TV thanks to Taylor Sheridan's recent hit series The Madison, but Kurt Russell once shot to stardom thanks to a number of film roles.
Last year, the website Cinema Blend made clear that some of Russell's "most iconic lines" from his movies over the decades hail from Big Trouble in Little China, a cult-classic that's now celebrating 40 years since its release.
Directed by the great John Carpenter, the action-comedy is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, which offers the following synopsis:
"Jack Burton... gets caught in a bizarre conflict within, and underneath, San Francisco's Chinatown. An ancient Chinese prince and Chinatown crime lord has kidnapped a beautiful green-eyed woman, who is the fiancée to Jack's best friend. Jack must help his friend rescue the girl before the evil Lo Pan uses her to break the ancient curse that keeps him a fleshless and immortal spirit."
Despite the critical acclaim, Big Trouble flopped at the box office earning just $11.1 million domestically on a budget that was estimated up to $25 million. This influenced director Carpenter's decision to return to independent filmmaking, according to Politico.
Years later, however, the film gained a steady audience on home video and ultimately garnered cult-classic status. But since there no immediate commercial success, 78, reportedly turned down offers to direct the high-profile movies Top Gun and Fatal Attraction and opted to work on small-budget passion projects instead, such as They Live.
The longtime filmmaker and composer is also known, of course, for directing Halloween (1978), starring Jamie Lee Curtis. It's still rewatched every year during the spooky season and has been ranked among the best movies of all time by Rotten Tomatoes, cementing its place as one of the most influential horror films ever made.
Since its release, Halloween has spawned more than a dozen sequels and reboots, making it one of the longest-running horror franchises in film history.
‘Dancing With the Stars’ Legend Reveals Childhood Bullies Tied Him up and Put a Gun to His Head
Derek Hough is an accomplished ballroom dancer, choreographer, singer, and actor. He has won Dancing with the Starssix times and has since become a judge for the show. Although dancing has helped him rise to fame, he recently revealed that he used to be tormented by other kids in his neighborhood, partially due to the fact that he was a dancer.
“We had these neighbors who were — bullying is kind of too nice of a word — they tormented me,” he said during "The Bossticks" podcast on May 25. “They would hang me up in a tree by my ankles and put a gun to my head and spit on me or hogtie me in a field. I was scared. I would have night terrors and I would wet the bed. I was a scared kid, I was a terrified kid. Scared of the dark, scared of my shadow, just scared and constantly on edge.”

Hough continued, “I was always on the outside just trying to fit in and get in there. Being a dancer didn't help. I would get the crap beaten out of me. At one school, a kid punched me in the face. I'm bleeding everywhere, but then I retaliated and started beating him up, and then I got expelled from school.”
When speaking with Parade at the Disney Upfront, he also spoke about this time of his life. “I got into a lot of fights when I was a kid," he said. "I got bullied a lot, so I got beaten up a lot, so I had to fight back.”
During a panel discussion earlier this year, Hough spoke about how much Dancing with the Stars means to him, since it has changed the way that many people view dance, and has shown that dance is an art for athletes.
“For me, having a platform and having a stage like Dancing with the Stars that is elevating dance to new heights over this past, almost, 20 years, I can't tell you how much it means to me on some deeper level than just a compliment,” he said, as reported by PEOPLE. “It means a lot more because to see that little boy that grew up when dancing wasn't cool, and to see where it's now — it's looked at as artistic athletes. Dancers are artistic athletes. And that, for me, is just an amazing thing. So, I'm just thankful for this beautiful show that has elevated dance so much.”

1980 Rock Classic, Released After a Major Band Tragedy, Re-Enters the Charts 46 Years Later
In the wake of an unexpected death, AC/DC released a hit hard rock track that started a new era for the band. The 1980 song has regained popularity and has entered the Billboard charts.
"You Shook Me All Night" currently sits at No. 25 on Billboard's Hard Rock Streaming Songs charts, almost 46 years since it was originally released in mid August of 1980. The track has proven that the band still stands as one of the most iconic in the genre and music industry, with its backstory one that tugs at the heart.
Released as part of their Back in Black album, "You Shook Me All Night" was the first song released by AC/DC with new frontman Brian Johnson. His inclusion in the band came after the sudden death of lead vocalist Bon Scott from alcohol poisoning in February of that year. According to American Songwriter, the band initially refused to create new music until Scott's father urged them to keep playing and find a new singer.
Johnson would reveal that guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young had already developed the base of the track and asked him to create its lyrics. Wanting to impress his new bandmates, he wrote the rest of the song that same night.
“Malcolm and Angus said, ‘Hey listen, we got this song,’ and if you listen to the chords it just fell in anyway, so I can’t claim any credit on that. The rest was just filler, the verses, and it all worked out smashing," said Johnson.
"You Shook Me All Night" landed at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts upon its release, but became a solidified classic among fans. It's often been tagged as one of the best tracks of the '80s and for having one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. Johnson calls it one of his favorites and "I still think it’s one of the greatest rock and roll riffs I’ve ever heard in my life."
There's some lore behind the song, with multiple claims having come out saying Scott wrote part of the lyrics. A former girlfriend, Silver Smith, claimed he had written some of the song in her London apartment back in 1976. Another girlfriend claimed certain words and lyrics related to her, like her horse Doubletime.
Journalist Malcolm Dome also reported many times that Scott had shown him his book of ideas and scribbles of songs for the band. Many of them were for the Back to Black album, with certain scribbled lyrics later becoming part of "You Shook Me All Night Long." Scott has never been officially credited for creating the track, with Dome saying, "to this day no one's really sure what happened."
The song and album marked a major change for the band with Scott's replacement after his death. They even hesitated on whether fans would accept Johnson and if the album would even be popular. Back to Black was dedicated to Scott, with the track becoming a signature hit for the band.
