Russell Crowe Slams 'Clickbait' Coverage Over Recent Fan Encounter: 'What's Your Problem?'

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:57pm

Russell Crowe is shutting down "clickbait" coverage of his recent autograph signing outside of a Paris hotel, where, despite tending to every single person vying for his attention, per his own report, recent media coverage appeared to paint him in a negative light.

Video of the encounter in question was originally published by TMZ, which showed the Nuremberg star using some harsh, blunt language to expertly draw order to the crowd of folks awaiting him as he left the building.

The actor quoted a since-deleted social media post from the news outlet, calling their description of it "clickbait" as he shut down reports that he left anyone empty-handed.

"Everybody got their autograph and selfie, the passage to the hotel was kept free for guests, and I still got to the airport on time," he quipped, noting how everything went smoothly despite having no security to back him up. "What’s your problem?" he added.

Clickbait. Everybody got their autograph and selfie, the passage to the hotel was kept free for guests, and I still got to the airport on time. One man, no security. Handled. What’s your problem ? https://t.co/Yxo2BIFSe9

— Russell Crowe (@russellcrowe) May 26, 2026

The outlet's original post included footage from the incident in question, in which Crowe was captured laying down the law for those itching for his signature.

As he exited his hotel, before he signed a single piece of memorabilia, he called for everyone’s attention and requested, “Stay where you are [and] don’t f- - king push in on me—I’ll come to you. Give everybody space, because as soon as somebody’s a dick, I’m gone, you got me?”

Several voices off-camera could be heard agreeing, "Yes, Sir," before he got to work, signing methodically down the line.

His fans online felt that the interaction was overall "very professional and courteous," sharing their respect for the actor for "accommodating everyone" even though many appeared to be there "just resell the items," noting, "Feels like the high road to me."

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, the publication originally implied that Crowe "was absolutely not having" the crowd gathering to see him and did not consider "fans [to] always [be] priority No. 1."

His methods may not be considered PC, but he still managed to get the job done!

1997 Power Ballad, Written for a Cult-Classic Action Film, Became One of Country Music’s Biggest Controversies

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:43pm

It was in May of 1997 when Trisha Yearwood and LeAnn Rimes released competing versions of the same song, resulting in a moment that would go down in history as one of country music’s biggest controversies.

That song was Diane Warren’s “How Do I Live,” and it was written for consideration for the blockbuster film Con Air, starring Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich

Rimes first recorded the tune at the tender age of 14, at the request of Walt Disney Pictures, and it was sent to their Touchstone Pictures label, where it was passed on as executives felt the version was too pop-leaning and that Rimes’ youthful vocals weren’t mature enough for the subject matter.

The production company, then, turned to Yearwood, who agreed to cut a vocal track. At the time, according to American Songwriter, Yearwood was also unaware that Rimes had already recorded the song, which made things even more confusing going forward.

While Yearwood’s take on “How Do I Live” ended up being the one selected for the movie, both versions were serviced to radio on the same day (May 23, 1997), prompting radio stations to choose between the two.

Adding to the awkwardness, the competing versions of “How Do I Live” went head-to-head during the Grammy Awards in 1998, with Rimes and Yearwood earning a nomination for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Ultimately, that triumph went to Yearwood, who also won over fellow nominees Deana Carter, Patty Loveless, and Pam Tillis.

Despite having two interpretations of the song out into the world, both renditions ended up having their own moment in the spotlight. Rimes's became a massive pop crossover hit, spending a record-breaking 69 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 2.

Meanwhile, Yearwood’s version was embraced by the country music genre, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. The song also became a crossover hit for Yearwood, landing at No. 23 on the Billboard all-genre Hot 100.

British Rock Duo Suddenly Cancel Remaining Tour Dates After Alarming Health Diagnosis

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:31pm

One popular U.K. rock duo stunned fans with the announcement that the rest of their scheduled tour dates were officially canceled in a revealing statement on May 26, 2026. The rock band, Seafret, which features members Jack Sedman and Harry Draper, had just kicked off a new tour to support their latest album, Fear of Emotion, which came out in March.

They played four shows in the U.K. on May 21, 22, 23, and 25 before the announcement came out on social media. Draper wrote a personal statement addressing the reason behind the decision.

"I'm so sorry to have to do this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel the remainder of the tour," began Draper, before he revealed that he recently received a shocking health diagnosis. "I'm going to be totally honest with you, I'm struggling. I've recently been diagnosed with an eye disease called Stargardt, which will sadly mean I'm going to go blind."

According to Foundation Fighting Blindness, Stargardt is "a genetic eye disorder that causes retinal degeneration and vision loss." It is quite rare and often inherited from one's parents.

Draper told fans, "It's been so much to get my head around, and I've really struggled to see last few nights on stage. I just need to take a bit of time out to get my head around all of this." But he also made it clear that he doesn't intend to let the condition hinder him from continuing his passion for music, adding, "I won't let this stop me, but I do just need a little time."

In the caption of the post on Instagram, there was information about ticket refunds, and Seafret shared their desire to reschedule the dates in the future.

Fans took the sad news in stride, sharing support for Draper and Sedman in the comments. They wrote kind notes like, "I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, I can’t imagine how hard that is to navigate," and "Take all the time you need, take care of yourself and lean on your loved ones."

Amanda Batula and West Wilson Share New Details About Their Relationship Timeline In Summer House Reunion Part 1

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:06pm

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for Part 1 of the Season 10 Summer Housereunion.

As expected, Amanda Batula and West Wilson were in the hot seat during the highly anticipated Summer House reunion.

The first part aired on Tuesday, May 26, with the cast getting together on camera for the first time since news broke of Batula and Wilson's romance. Here are some of the key moments from the explosive episode.

Andy Cohen Speaks Individually With Ciara Miller

Before the reunion even began, cameras showed the stars getting ready in their dressing rooms, with Bravo host Andy Cohen going to check on Ciara Miller.

"I'm shocked by West, but I'm really hurt by Amanda," Miller replied, adding that she felt most hurt by Batula as the two have been best friends since Miller joined the show in 2021.

As for Wilson and Batula, the two are sharing a dressing room and Cohen also goes to see them, with Batula saying that the "truth is already out there.

"It’s just going to be shutting down the rumors," she added, also expressing guilt and sadness over causing her friend pain.

Amanda Batula Says She's Ready To Take Accountability

Then, it came time for the reunion to truly begin, and Miller took a page out of Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix's playbook, showing up in a show-stopping revenge dress.

Batula kicks things off.

"I’m prepared to own up to what I’ve done, take accountability, apologize — especially to Ciara and Kyle — and just hopefully be able to explain to everyone’s face what went on, and where I’m coming from,” she said.

However, Miller wasn't having any of it, firing back immediately, saying, "I’m glad you could say our name this time."

When Did Ciara Miller Become Suspicious?

And from there, the timeline of how the relationship came to be was revealed. Miller thought something had happened on Jan. 17 when she invited Batula out for drinks, but checked her location and saw that she was at Wilson's apartment. Batula responded by saying that she did eventually answer Miller, but turned to West as he had been there for her all summer as well as after she announced her split from Kyle Cooke.

"Where was I?" Miller fired back. "How many times have I asked you to hang out, have I asked to come over to your house, have I invited you to do stuff, and you act like your (expletive) phone doesn't work?"

Miller also pulled out receipts, showing old texts in which Batula denied hooking up with West. Batula replied, saying that while she was lying, "everything that was happening was PG." Miller then went on to accuse Wilson of having a girlfriend when he was with Batula, and he admitted that he was "seeing someone," but they weren't exclusive. Lindsey Hubbard chimed in, catching Wilson in a lie, saying that she learned that they were, in fact, exclusive, and he then admitted it, to which Batula said she was aware too.

From there, things progressed as Miller continued to go after Batula, saying that she shouldn't have gone after her best friend's ex. However, Batula said that she can't help who she likes. That's when Miller came back, saying that there was "a million other (expletive) guys in New York City," calling Batula a snake.

West Wilson Admits He Made The First Move

When asked how their relationship came to be, Wilson admitted that he made the first move, with their first kiss happening in February. She then added that the two were intimate shortly after releasing the statement.

However, it also came up that Wilson was very flirty with Miller during season 10 filming, but he denied that he had even expressed interest in getting back with her.

"There were numerous times where I tried to make steps to not allow us to get to a romantic place or a physical place and keep it as friends," he said.

Kyle Cooke Defends Amanda Batula

When Hubbard and Miller were going after the couple about whether they would last or not, Miller went on to say she thinks they will because Batula is the "weak figure that he needs and he can always be the star in the relationship."

Batula couldn't hold back her tears, and Cooke leaned over, quietly telling Miller that she's being "harsh."

"That's your wife. She's not my wife," Miller replied, to which Cooke said that she has "every right to feel the way that you feel."

79-Year-Old Disco Legend Forced to Confirm He Was Still Alive After Viral Hoax

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:00pm

Fans of one of disco’s most enduring voices briefly feared the worst after a viral internet rumor falsely claimed that Bee Gees frontman Barry Gibb had died.

The 79-year-old music legend was forced to confirm he was alive and well after a fake "R.I.P. Barry Gibb" Facebook page began to circulate online, sparking confusion among fans of the falsetto singer behind classics like "Stayin’ Alive," "Night Fever" and "How Deep Is Your Love."

According to TMZ, family sources confirmed that the Bee Gees legend is "healthy, happy, and living life at his Miami-area home" despite the false reports.

Gibb rose to fame as part of the iconic trio, along with his brothers Maurice and Robin. Barry is the last living member of the band of brothers: Maurice passed away in 2003, and Robin died in 2012. Their youngest brother, Andy — who was not a member of the band — died in 1988 at age 30.

Throughout their decades on stage, the Bee Gees earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, five Grammy Awards — including for Album of the Year for 1979's Saturday Night Fever — and were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 Grammys.

"We never thought of ourselves as Bee Gees—we thought of ourselves as the four brothers," he said at the time. "Me being the eldest, I was always watching out for the rest of them. And I miss them very much … I always imagined we would sit around in our 80s and laugh and joke. But it just didn’t work out that way….I think I’ve had enough of death to last me a lifetime."

This ’60s Country Star Never Saw His Final Song Become a No. 1 Hit

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 11:00pm

On May 27, 1963, Harold Franklin "Hawkshaw" Hawkins was sitting at No. 1 on the U.S. country chart with "Lonesome 7-7203." The milestone was a big win, but it was also heartbreaking.

Tragically, the song written by Justin Tubb became the final single release of Hawkins' career.

Just three days after the song was released, Hawkins was killed in the devastating plane crash that also claimed the lives of fellow country stars Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas. The tragedy remains one of the darkest moments in country music history.

Born Harold Franklin Hawkins in Huntington, West Virginia, he earned the nickname "Hawkshaw" after the detective character Hawkshaw the Detective and built a loyal fanbase throughout the 1950s and early 1960s.

At the time of his death, Hawkins was already a respected star in country music thanks to his smooth voice, colorful stage presence and years of radio and Grand Ole Opry success.

That's because "Lonesome 7-7203" became his signature hit.

The song tells the story of a heartbroken man begging listeners to call him if they have lost the love of their life, even giving out the memorable telephone number from the title. Its clever hook and emotional delivery connected deeply with country audiences, helping the song soar up the charts in the weeks following Hawkins' death.

Two weeks after the fatal crash, "Lonesome 7-7203" officially reached No. 1 on the country chart, where it remained for four consecutive weeks. Tragically, Hawkins never got the chance to see the song become the biggest hit of his career.

The March 5, 1963 plane crash that killed Hawkins, Cline and Copas occurred near Camden, Tennessee, as the performers traveled home from a benefit concert in Kansas City. The loss of all three artists stunned Nashville and forever changed the country music world.

1971 Classic, One of Rock's Most Iconic Guitar Songs, Wasn't Ever a No. 1 Hit

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 10:32pm

It's one of the defining guitar songs in rock history, but it never became a No. 1 hit.

"Layla," by Derek and the Dominos, which features iconic dual guitar solos from Eric Clapton and Duane Allman, is ranked among some of the greatest guitar songs ever, yet it didn't even crack the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

After its initial release as the title track on the 1970 album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, "Layla" was re-released as a single the following year, when it eventually made its way onto the Hot 100.

It debuted at No. 98 and spent a total of 25 weeks at various spots on the chart, peaking at No. 10.

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

But "Layla"s impact on rock music has long outlasted the chart statistics from its first few years of release, as the track has become one of the most noteworthy guitar songs of all time, and also helped cement both Clapton and Allman as some of the most influential guitarists ever. Rolling Stone included both musicians on their 2023 ranking of the 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, with Clapton placed at No. 35 and Allman at No. 10.

"Layla" is also included on the publications roundup of the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time, coming in at No. 23 on the list. It also earned the No. 14 spot on a similar ranking from Guitar World.

In 1992, Clapton released an unplugged version of "Layla" from a live performance that was initially filmed for the MTV Unplugged television series. The acoustic version gave "Layla" a second lease on life, and even brought it back to the Hot 100 in October 1992, before it peaked at No. 12 the following month.

Michael Jackson's Daughter Says Her Relationship With Her Dad Is 'No One's Business'

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 10:22pm

Paris Jackson is drawing a firm line between public life and private grief.

Michael Jackson’s daughter opened up about the pressure she once felt to publicly honor her late father online on birthdays, Father’s Day, and anniversaries of his death. Paris, 28, explained that her perspective has changed in recent years. Now, she says, her relationship with the pop icon is "no one’s business."

"There's definitely a certain element where I felt I had to share everything, and I felt like I owed it to people because I do believe that is the impression I was given of like you owe this to us," she told Jack Osbourne during the Tuesday, May 26, episode of his "Trying Not to Die" podcast. "That has drastically changed in the last few years."

She added, "I don't really feel like any of us owe anyone anything."

Paris went on to explain that she once felt pressure to "mimic" how fans were publicly grieving her late father.

"But for me, like I had a personal relationship, not a parasocial relationship," she told Osbourne. "I can have my own personal relationship, and it—I'm allowed to be private about it, and I'm now like, my relationship is the most beautiful relationship ever."

Paris was just 11 years old when her father died in June 2009. Now, she says she's in a "very beautiful spot" with the "Billie Jean" singer.

"I love that, and it's no one's business, and I don't have to share that with anybody. There's a lot of freedom in that, which is really cool," she added. "But just yeah, I'm not going to express my love in a copycat way, copying someone that didn't know him. Because I did. That was my best friend."

Other than Puscifer, the Pacific Ring of Fire Tour will also feature performances from French singer Jehnny Beth, opening shows in Berlin, Prague, Luxembourg and Paris. While British singer-songwriter A.A. Williams will join the band for their performance at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.

The surprising move from the band came after some of their shows were already sold out, helping accommodate fans from various countries.

Based on their update, the two-day show in London and the first-night run in Sydney were at full capacity.

The band’s commercial success came after releasing their first album, Mer de Noms, which had the highest-ever debut for a rock band's first album at the time, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

The remarkable feat from A Perfect Circle showcased their explosive impact on the rock scene.

These are easy enough to slip on for quick errands, travel days, beach bags, and last-minute plans, but they’re still cute enough to wear with going-out outfits. The black and beige options are a breeze to repeat with different looks, which is especially convenient if you’re packing light or don’t want to buy five different pairs of sandals for summer. The best part is they’re super versatile, but not so plain that they can only be worn for casual occasions.

One reviewer called them “the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever owned,” adding, “They feel very high quality without the killer price tag. ” Another shopper said they’re “super comfortable” and “very cushiony,” while a third called them “such a great summer staple.”

The beige pair would work well with linen pants, white jeans, denim shorts, or a breezy dress. Black is the most versatile everyday pick if you want something you can wear on errands and travel days without clashing. Champagne and silver are more vacation-ready, and the red and hot pink options are great if your summer wardrobe could use a pop of color.

At 81, Sam Elliott Admits a Heartbreaking TV Scene Mirrors His Real-Life Frailty: 'The Truth of It Is...'

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 9:37pm

Sam Elliott has been part of many iconic Western films in his 60-year career. At 81 years old, he is opening up about aging in Hollywood.

“I’ve had a hard life. I’ve been an athlete all my life, and I’ve been a laborer all my life, and I’m paying for it now,” Elliott told Varietyin an interview.

The Academy Award nominee, known for his walrus mustache and rugged charm, has appeared in legendary films such as Tombstone, Mask, and The Big Lebowski.

Elliott currently portrays T.L. Norris on the Paramount drama Landman. He finds many of his characters' struggles are similar to his own.

T.L. is an oil field worker who is struggling with his age and physical decline. After his wife dies, he enters a deep despair. His son, Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton), decides to have his father come live with him.

In a gut-wrenching scene, T.L. falls in a swimming pool and can’t pick himself up. He is stuck for hours until his son finds him.

“The truth of it is [that scene] is very true to where I am at this point in my life physically. Not mentally, but physically,” the actor shared.

Throughout his six-decade-long career, Elliot has seen both highs and lows as a performer.

Even as a veteran actor, he looks up to his Landman co-stars: Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, JonHamm, and Andy Garcia

“I know back when I was starting out, when I was doing whatever I could do as a contract player at Fox, the early days, and I look back on some of that work now, I think ‘If only I’d have done this or that,’” he said. “I’m pretty amazed at the talent out there in the world today. It’s incredible.”

Elliot is no stranger to appearing in a popular project, and Landman is no exception.

The second season’s first episode saw 9.2 million views in two days. The series has been on the Nielsen streaming top 10 chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

“It’s dumbfounding that there’s so many people that are watching this show,” Elliott says. “I think that it’s a great escape from the shit that’s out there in the world today.”

'70s Pop Icon, Once Fired from Television Show, Announces 2026 Tour

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 9:33pm

More than 60 years after first becoming a global star, Tom Jones is still filling theaters across North America.

The legendary singer, now 85, has officially announced his Come Gather Round North American Tour for 2026, with dates running from September through November and stops planned in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Las Vegas, Chicago and more.

"So pleased to say my band & I will be playing across North America this Fall bringing our show to you," Jones captioned an Instagram post announcing the tour. "I hope to see you along the road!"

The extensive run includes two nights at New York City's Beacon Theatre, a performance at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium and multiple appearances at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas.

Jones' longevity is especially remarkable considering how many reinventions his career has already survived, including one particularly shocking television setback.

In 2015, Jones was unexpectedly dropped as a coach fromThe Voice UK, a decision that surprised both viewers and the singer himself. Jones later revealed he had effectively been fired from the show without warning, saying he was told executives wanted to "refresh" the program.

The dismissal sparked backlash from fans, many of whom viewed Jones as one of the most beloved personalities on the series. He was ultimately brought back to The Voice UK in 2017 after the show moved networks. The incident became just another example of Jones' resilience, not to mention the loyalty of his fanbase, across a career spanning multiple generations of entertainment.

The Welsh icon first rose to fame during the 1960s with massive hits including "It's Not Unusual," "What's New Pussycat?" and "Delilah," quickly becoming one of the defining vocalists of the era. By the 1970s, Jones had evolved into a television and Las Vegas superstar thanks to his hugely successful variety series, This Is Tom Jones, and his larger-than-life stage presence.

"I got my TV show in the late '60s because of my versatility," Jones told AARP. "I could sing duets with anybody that came on — Wilson Picket or Jerry Lee Lewis or Robert Goulet or Barbara Eden. There is no limit to my versatility, which I always thought was an asset."

Rather than fading with changing musical trends, Jones continually reinvented himself throughout the following decades through collaborations, reinventions and critically acclaimed later-career recordings.

His 1999 smash, "Sex Bomb," introduced him to yet another generation of listeners and proved his cultural relevance remained intact decades after his original breakthrough. Now in his 80s, Jones continues touring extensively and performing for audiences spanning multiple generations.

The newly announced Come Gather Round Tour is another reminder that few artists in pop music history have maintained this level of visibility, stamina and reinvention for quite as long as Tom Jones.

"I would like to be regarded as a hell of a singer: here lies a hell of a singer," Jones told DIY in 2021. "I still love to make records, and I still love to go on stage and perform and go on tour."

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m. local time at TomJones.com.

Supergroup With '80s Rock Legends Announce First-Ever Live Show

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 9:29pm

Lex Legion finally announced some exciting news.

The European hard metal supergroup, which consists of Nils K. Rue of Pagan's Mind and King Diamond members Mikkey Dee, Pete Blakk, Andy LaRocque and Hal Patino, announced via Instagram on Tuesday that they will be performing their first-ever show on November 28 at the Filmstudion Göteborg (Gothenburg Studios) in Sweden. More details and tickets can be purchased on Lex Legion's official website.

"The first curtain is going up. Our debut live show is coming!" they wrote in their caption. "Join us at Filmstudion Göteborg, Sweden on 28th November 2026!"

View this post on Instagram

Lex Legion was formed earlier this year by former King Diamond guitarist Blakk and Dee, alongside Patino and LaRocque. They were a part of the popular Danish rock band, King Diamond, which was established in 1985. LaRocque is the only original member of King Diamond still performing alongside frontman King Diamond, whose real name is Kim Petersen.

LaRocque told The Metal Crypt last month that the idea of Lex Legion was formed back in 2008 with Blakk. They started writing a couple of songs together, but it was scratched until Blakk picked them up again during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since King Diamond and most live entertainment were at a halt, it was the perfect time for Lex Legion to get together and create songs.

"It took us about, I don't know, many years. If you count it from 2008 up until now, that's many years. For the final maybe three or four years, we put everything together," LaRocque said. "In the very end, everything went quite fast. We got a record deal, and everything was really smooth in the very end."

The band will be releasing their self-titled debut album via MNRK Heavy on June 12. So far, Lex Legion has released the first two songs of the album: "Sleep Eternally" in late March and "Gypsty Tears" earlier this month. LaRocque has described the upcoming album as having "a little bit of everything," and will be heavily inspired by the sounds of the 1970s and 1980s.

"We are old-school guys, but we still want a modern sound. Our roots and our metal and rock and roll schooling come from, I would say, the late '70s, the '80s. That's our school. It's definitely in the '80s, I would say," the Swedish guitarist explained. "Listening to all the cool bands that were around at the time, Ozzy Osbourne and a lot of great guitarists from that era. Both me and Pete, the other guitarist, are from that school, and that's how we write riffs."

Dee added on their band bio on MRNK Heavy, "Lex Legion is totally written the way we thought in the '80s. We wrote what we wanted. If you liked it, great bonus. If you didn't, that was fine with us too!"

Bassist Pontus Egberg and guitarist Andy LaRocque of King Diamond perform at The Warfield Theater on November 29, 2019 in San Francisco, California.

Miikka Skaffari/FilmMagic

"This is totally unique. No one is writing this kind of music and there's a big hole for us to fill," Blakk said. "Welcome to our new journey of friendship and hard rock!"

Lex Legion will be out on all streaming platforms on June 12. Presale for the supergroup's First Show Ever will take place on Wednesday.

1981 Dance-Rock Anthem Featured in No. 1 Streaming Drama Is Back in the Spotlight

Tue, 05/26/2026 - 9:25pm

In the latest episode of What’s Old Is New Again, Billy Idol’s 1981 breakthrough solo-era single, “Dancing With Myself,” is trending again. And it’s all thanks to the No. 1show on Prime Video, Off Campus

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

A sexually charged college-set drama that pivots around a hockey star and a musically inclined junior at a fictional university called Briar, Off Campus features Idol’s dance-punk anthem at the beginning of its series premiere. The track plays as Hannah, who works at Briar’s hockey facility, cleans up after the team before catching a very naked glimpse of Garrett in the shower, setting the tone for the show’s mix of romance, tension, and chaos.

Co-written by Idol and Tony James while Idol was still the frontman of the punk band Generation X, the song took years to fully connect with mainstream audiences. As American Songwriter noted, “It wouldn’t be until 1983 that the song finally started to make inroads with the wider world, by which time Idol had established himself as a solo act.”

When Idol released his remixed version in 1981 as his debut solo single, it made a modest impact on the charts, peaking at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and No. 2 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, essentially placing it just outside the Hot 100 itself.

Today, however, the once-underperforming single has evolved into one of Idol’s signature songs and remains an enduring MTV-era anthem that still resonates across generations. And thanks to Off campus, it’s now finding new life on Gen Z playlists and social feeds.

According toYahoo Entertainment, Idol is thrilled the series is introducing the track to younger viewers: “It’s exciting,” he said in a video published by the outlet. “It’s fantastic to see that the songs continue to attract people. They don’t get old to perform either.”

Because the series weaves a musical narrative directly into its hockey-romance storytelling, Idol’s track is joined by several other classics, including iconic pop and rock anthems and dynamic cast performances. Key standouts include Warrant’s “Cherry Pie,” Elton John’s “The Bitch Is Back,” and Poison’s “Nothin’ but a Good Time.”

Between the romance, the hockey, and Billy Idol, the show is — fittingly — nothing but a good time.

A New Insulated Food Storage Solution at Costco View this post on Instagram

Check out these insulated food jars in new color combinations under the Thermoflask brand at Costco, shown by @costco.hotbuys. The two-pack is priced at $22.99 and includes 20-ounce stainless steel jars built with double-wall insulation. Shoppers can choose between sets like black and white, white and navy blue or pink and green.

These jars from Costco are designed for both hot and cold foods, which makes them useful year-round. The double-wall vacuum insulation helps maintain temperature for roughly 6 to 12 hours, depending on what is inside. That means cold foods stay cool and fresh, while hot meals stay warm and ready to eat later in the day.

This Costco food storage solution removes the need for constant access to a microwave or refrigerator, which is helpful for workdays, school schedules or long travel days.

To get the best results, a few small steps can make a noticeable difference. For cold foods, pre-chilling the jar in the freezer for about 10 minutes helps keep contents cooler for longer. For hot foods, filling the jar with boiling water for a few minutes before adding food helps maintain heat.

On May 26, the couple made a joint Instagram post with 11 slides of pictures. The couple stand on a beach together and Anderson, 28, holds her hand up showing a diamond ring. "SHE SAID YES (again)," read the caption. "Proposing again meant taking something that was already extraordinary and making it fully our own. It means the world to be able to reaffirm our promise and love to one another just the two of us. Forever isn’t enough with you. I cannot wait to make you my wife."

The couple plans to tie the knot in 2027. They want to keep business separate from the affair. "We decided, we were like, we don't want to do any brand deals for our wedding," Anderson told Plan Bri Uncut.

She said on The Bachelor they already planned to have a long engagement. They felt like they needed to get to know each other since their first proposal happened after two months. Anderson said they felt pressure because some fans were betting against them making it.

Anderson teased the wedding will be "romantic" and moody. She also likes green and burgundy when it comes to colors. She said she's not too worried about planning and as long as they're there together, then she'll enjoy it.
