Influencer Jesse Ridgway (known on Instagram as McJuggerNuggets) and his wife Ashley Ridgway shared the "heartbreaking" decision to terminate their recently announced pregnancy after their baby was diagnosed with Trisomy 21, also known as Down syndrome, on June 3. The couple is now facing intense backlash after explaining why they made the "difficult" choice on Instagram Stories.

"This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21," he wrote in the statement, adding that "the choice was not made lightly."

The couple initially announced their first pregnancy on March 29 on Instagram, writing "BABY RIDGWAY - COMING FALL 2026" alongside photos holding their sonogram images. Less than a month later, they revealed that genetic testing said their baby had "a 95% chance to be born with Down Syndrome."

At the time, they hoped that the results were "a fluke" and that a later amniocentesis test would clarify that their "baby boy will be born with zero health problems." However, the test confirmed the diagnosis.

"When I first confronted this news, I was shocked but optimistic," Ridgway explained in his May 3 statement. "If they're a little slow intellectually, then we'll make it work. I signed on to be a parent, come what may… but I just didn't fully understand what Down Syndrome entailed."

The creator of the viral Psycho Series explained that he learned more about the condition, the impact it has on children who have it, the potential for miscarriage, and read personal stories from fans, and the couple ultimately decided they didn't want to accept the risks to continue the pregnancy.

"Down Syndrome isn't a 'blessing', it is objectively sh--ty from a health perspective," he wrote, explaining the reasons behind their choice. "I didn't realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family… more often than not, they would be fully dependent on others for the rest of their life."

"I know some of you may be very disappointed to hear this news. We are devastated. This has been extremely traumatic for both of us, especially Ashley," Ridgway continued, confirming his wife "underwent the procedure earlier this week and is on the mend."

"Thankfully, everything went smoothly, but emotionally we are drained," he said.

The pair faced heavy backlash for the decision on the feed post first revealing the diagnosis, with many followers criticizing them for terminating the pregnancy and for their comments regarding people with Down syndrome.

"This is heartbreaking. Not because [the baby] wasn't perfect but because he's gone now. A unique, beautiful person is gone from our world, unnecessarily," said one commenter, while another added, "What concerns me most is the message this sends about the value of people with Down syndrome. A disability does not diminish a person's humanity or dignity."

Ridgway responded to criticism by adding that "up to 90% of women terminate their pregnancy after learning the baby has Trisomy 21," which surprised him because of how many people encouraged him to keep the baby. "I believe that's because most terminations happen privately," he shared. "It feels shameful. A lot of judgment being cast."

"You never think you'd be in this type of situation until it happens to you and then things change," he concluded. "We made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome."

Ridgway began dating Ashley May in 2019, getting married 6 years later on Oct. 6, 2025. Though the couple are both public-facing people, they generally tend to keep the details of their personal life and relationship more private.

CBS News is denying the viral rumor that podcaster Joe Rogan will be joining 60 Minutes.

 Rogan, 57, a former television host who currently helms the wildly popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is not being considered to take over for longtime 60 Minutes contributor Anderson Cooper, a spokesperson for the network told TheWrap.

“False,” the spokesperson shared regarding the rumor, which circulated just two days after veteran CBS News journalist Scott Pelley was fired from the network following a dramatic clash with management.

The rumor of Rogan's potential employment came after the Austin American-Statesman wrote a story titled “Could Joe Rogan replace Anderson Cooper on ‘60 Minutes’? Here’s what we know." The link's headline has since been changed to "CBS News says Joe Rogan is not in consideration to replace Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes."

RadarOnline.com, a popular website, is believed to have kick-started the rumor after sharing a story that Rogan was being considered by CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss as a potential replacement for Cooper.

"This isn't stunt casting," a television industry insider told Radar. "It's strategy. Rogan opens a direct pipeline to the massive MAGA audience CBS has struggled to reach for years."

Despite Radar's claims, CBS News refuted the idea.

Why Did Scott Pelley Get Fired From 60 Minutes?

Pelley recently butted heads with the show’s new executive producer, Nick Bilton. The incident went down publicly in a staff meeting, only exacerbating the existing conflict between Weiss and the longtime staff of the iconic newsmagazine program. During the meeting, which was captured on audio, Pelley accused Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes.

In a letter to Pelley, which was obtained by a variety of news sources, Bilton informed Pelley of his termination.

“Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear,” Bilton said in the letter. “And I have heard you. I therefore write on behalf of CBS News to inform you that your employment with CBS is terminated effective immediately.”

Pelley's departure came after CBS News announced they were ousting former executive producer Tanya Simon, executive editor Draggan Mihailovich, and correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega, Variety reported.

Cooper, who has contributed to the show for nearly 20 years, announced he would be leaving the program in February, Parade previously shared.

“The thing is, it’s never felt like work. It’s felt like you’re stepping into people’s lives, and you’re invited into people's homes,” Cooper reflected. “You’re invited into their struggles, you’re invited into whatever it is that has brought them to be on 60 Minutes.”

One year from now, one of Europe's most ambitious and anticipated new attractions will finally open its doors.

On June 4, 2027, The Whale, an immersive whale-inspired museum and visitor center in northern Norway, is scheduled to welcome its first public guests after years of anticipation. Rising from the rugged coastline of Andenes on the island of Andøya, more than 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, the project is designed to celebrate one of the region's most famous residents: the whale.

The location is no accident. The waters off Andøya are considered one of the best places in the world to observe whales year-round. Thanks to a deep underwater canyon located just offshore, sperm whales, humpback whales, orcas, fin whales, and other species regularly feed in the area, drawing whale watchers from around the world. The region has long been known as one of Norway's premier whale-watching destinations, but The Whale aims to transform it into an international center for marine education and conservation, as well.

And the building itself may be as much of an attraction as the exhibits inside. Designed by acclaimed Danish architect Dorte Mandrup, the structure appears to emerge organically from the coastline before curving back toward the sea. Its sweeping roofline resembles the back of a whale diving beneath the surface, creating a dramatic silhouette against the Arctic landscape. Visitors will be able to walk directly onto the roof, which doubles as a public viewing platform overlooking the Norwegian Sea. The building is designed to blend into its surroundings, with locally sourced stone covering much of the exterior.

"Combining art, science, and architecture, the project seeks to raise awareness and deepen understanding of whales and the conservation of the fragile ecosystems they inhabit," Mandrup writes on a page about the project's progress.

Inside, guests will find immersive exhibitions exploring the relationship between whales, marine ecosystems, science, and culture. The attraction will feature exhibition galleries, a visitor center, a café, a retail space, and educational programming focused on the Arctic environment.

The project has been years in the making. The initial idea for The Whale was first conceptualized in 2014, and, in 2019, an international architectural competition led to the design of the building. Construction officially began after several delays, with supporters hoping the attraction would help drive sustainable tourism to northern Norway while highlighting the importance of protecting marine life.

Its opening also reflects the growing popularity of destination architecture—travel experiences where the building itself becomes a reason to visit. Similar to how travelers flock to Spain's Basilica of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Australia's Sydney Opera House, or the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, tourism officials hope The Whale will become a global icon for Arctic Norway.

For travelers, however, the biggest draw may still be the wildlife. The museum sits at the edge of one of the planet's most productive whale habitats, where they can often spot whales all along the shore. During the summer months, the region also experiences nearly continuous daylight thanks to the Midnight Sun, creating ideal conditions for whale watching and outdoor exploration.

Fans have seen less of Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith Grey since Grey’s Anatomy Season 19. Over the last few seasons, she’s appeared in seven or so episodes per season, and that number isn’t confirmed for Season 23 yet.

Part of the cut was due to other projects, but she also wanted to spend more time with her family. Since leaving, she has starred in and executive-produced many other shows, and now there’s another one that is currently in the pilot stages.

Hulu Has Ordered a Pilot for ‘Chicks’

Pompeo is set to star in and executive produce Chicks, a new comedy-drama for Hulu. Granted, this is only at the pilot stage for now, but if it does go to series, it will mean another project for the actress to work the Grey’s Anatomy schedule around.

Chicks will film in New York, compared to the medical drama filming in Los Angeles, and the filming is set to start in September 2026. Broadcast networks traditionally start filming in July of each year, so it could allow for a few episodes with Pompeo’s Meredith before the actress flies Back East to film.

It’s not the first time that Pompeo has filmed on two shows at the same time. She starred in and executive-produced Good American Family for Hulu, so she can make schedules work when needed. However, that was a limited series, while Chicks is designed to be a multi-season show if it gets picked up.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Hasn’t Confirmed Meredith’s Episode Numbers Yet

While Pompeo stepped back as a regular character on the series, she remains an important part of Grey’s Anatomy. She still narrates the episodes, and she appears now and then, usually during the premieres, finales, and a few middle episodes. Fans usually get to see her around seven times a season.

ABC is yet to confirm the number of episodes she will be in. It’s always a draw when Meredith is back for an episode, though, and there are plenty of other characters to focus on with this large ensemble cast. So far, the new show doesn't mean anything too drastic.

The song "Obsession" by Animotion captivated listeners in the early 1980s, and many fans assume it's an original. It's not. The 1984 hit is a cover song, and it started with an earlier version that most people never heard.

In 1983, singer-songwriter Holly Knight (who cowrote Pat Benatar's "Love Is a Battlefield" and Tina Turner's "Better Be Good to Me") and singer Michael Des Barres penned the original version of "Obsession" and recorded it as a duet. The original version appeared in the 1983 film A Night in Heaven but never charted.

Shortly after this, the new wave group Animotion formed, including Astrid Plane (lead vocals), Bill Wadhams (lead vocals, guitars), Paul Antonelli (keyboards), Charles Ottavio (bass), David "Frenchy" O'Brien (drums), and a little later, Don Kirkpatrick (lead guitar). They were newly signed with Mercury Records and recording their first album when their producer John Ryan brought them the song “Obsession.”

The band recorded the duet, making their own synth-pop mark on it. In the remake, Wadhams sang melodically whereas Des Barres performed with a slower, speak-singing style in the original. Animotion added the iconic staccato synth hook, making it more upbeat and danceable.

Wadhams has admitted he wasn't initially sold on the song. “I thought it was cool, but I didn’t think it was so special that it would make the mark that it did,” he told PopMatters. But the song started climbing, and fast.

Animotion released "Obsession" as a single in October 1984, and their self-titled debut album followed in November 1984. The song also got a wider commercial push in January 1985 before hitting the UK. By March, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, and it topped out at No. 6 in June.

“By the time 'Obsession' got to number 17 with a bullet,” Wadhams recalled, “I said, ‘I don’t care where this came from.’ We’re taking off like a rocket. We were out on our first tour and we got the top ten at the time Bruce Springsteen’s ‘I’m on Fire’ was in the top ten, Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin’ was in the top ten. It was heady company, and our name was made for that time.”

The song "Obsession" pops up in '80s playlists and still transports Gen X listeners straight back to the dance floor. Animotion's version appeared in daytime soaps including Days of Our Lives and Guiding Light, video games including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016), and served as the intro theme for WWF's Saturday Night's Main Event from 1985–1988. To date, the new wave anthem has over 38 million streams on Spotify. 

Songwriters Holly Knight and Michael Des Barres wrote the catchy song, but Animotion made it immortal.

A new game will be available on Netflix just in time for the FIFA World Cup.

"FIFA World Cup Launch Edition" will make its debut on June 11 and is described as a "streamlined football simulation game" where fans can "experience the pride of playing for your country, step into real-life stadiums and pull off incredible plays with the world’s best athletes."

Netflix announced the news in a press release, with the game set to follow along with the tournament.

"You’ll be able to play as any of the 48 teams in the tournament, travel to the 16 real-world stadiums, and take control of any of the 1,248 players in the Cup. So as the drama of the sport plays out, you can share every goal, save, and celebration right on the couch with your friends and family," the streaming service wrote.

Up to four users can play together.

Along with the United States, the game will be available in Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, and Brazil.

And with that, Netflix told Variety that they will be updating the game "daily throughout the World Cup with new challenges and features tied into the real events and results of the tournament."

"Like all of Netflix’s other game offerings, the game is free with a Netflix subscription and does not include any in-game purchases," the outlet added. "The game rewards you with in-game currency based on your playing habits and daily challenge completion with coins that players can then be spent to boost the stats of their team members."

How Long Will the Burgers Keep in the Freezer?

Refreezing beef after it's been thawed is often discouraged due to quality concerns. When beef freezes, ice crystals form inside the meat; when it thaws, those crystals melt and release moisture. For the first time ever, the Shondaland romance period drama, Bridgerton, has failed to make it into Netflix’s All-Time Top 10 shows.

What’s On Netflix shared the disappointing first, making it clear that it comes after the 91-day window that all shows have to reach the list. The first three seasons and the spinoff, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, made it quickly, but it looks like the bubble has now burst.

Bridgerton is based on the novel series by Julia Quinn, and it focuses on a different sibling of the titular name as the main characters of each season. The series is all about the individual siblings finding love, and usually not with people who is deemed “right” by society.

After skipping over the second-born son, the fourth season finally focused on Benedict’s unexpected search for love. It’s a take on the Cinderella story, and was one that fans eagerly anticipated after Season 3 focused on Colin and Penelope.

The First Time ‘Bridgerton’ Didn’t Make the Top 10

The 91-day window is one set by Netflix, giving the streamer time to take a look at the full viewership numbers. That Top 10 is then determined by Complete Viewing Equivalents (CVEs), which is the hours viewed divided by the run time.

Bridgerton Season 4 failed to get into the Top 10, but it wasn’t due to low viewership numbers. In fact, the fourth season had a higher CVE number than Queen Charlotte. This is based on predicted numbers by What’s On Netflix, due to the official numbers not being out just yet.

The problem lies in the number of hours that the current Top 10 have. His & Hers knocked out The Night Agent earlier this year with 98.2 million views, and now, that’s what Bridgertonneeds to beat.

Is the ‘Bridgerton’ Bubble Bursting?

There is the question of whether the Shondaland bubble has burst, but when you consider the actual numbers, that’s unlikely. There was around 90 million viewing hours at first, based on the length of time within the 91 days that the series was in the Top 10. It dropped out of the Top 10 during that window, so it makes it harder to calculate.

It’s just clear that there is still interest. The first and third seasons have been the most popular, so it’s possibly just linked to the sibling taking center stage.

There are still two more seasons to come, and there is hope that all eight books will be adapted in the end. So, for now, there’s nothing to worry about. It’s more of a sign that the show has matured, and that means viewership tends to drop a little.

For nearly three decades, a towering mural of whales and marine life greeted visitors in downtown Dallas. Now, the artwork is gone—painted over to make way for a new FIFA World Cup-themed mural—and the artist behind it is taking the fight to federal court.

Marine conservation artist Robert Wyland, known simply as Wyland, has filed a lawsuit seeking at least $25 million after his iconic "Ocean Life" mural, also known as "Whaling Wall 82," was covered in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The 164-feet-long, 82-feet-high mural, which spanned roughly 17,000 square feet across two sides of a downtown building, had been a Dallas landmark since April 1999.

"FIFA INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL FEDERATION HAS JUST DESTROYED ONE OF MY MOST BEAUTIFUL ICONIC MURALS that my team and I painted for the people of Dallas to raise awareness about protecting our oceans," Wyland wrote on Instagram. "Please let them hear from you guys!"

The artwork was part of Wyland's internationally recognized "Whaling Wall" project, a decades-long effort that has produced more than 100 large-scale marine murals around the world. They were painted to raise awareness about ocean conservation in landlocked cities around the world. The artist is also known for creating artwork featured on cruise ships operated by Norwegian Cruise Line, as well as for his extensive conservation work through the Wyland Foundation.

According to Wyland, neither FIFA organizers nor local officials obtained his permission before covering the mural. He argues that the action violated the federal Visual Artists Rights Act of 1990 (VARA), a law designed to protect certain public artworks from destruction, distortion, or modification without the artist's consent.

The controversy began when crews started painting over the mural in May to prepare the wall for a new artwork celebrating the upcoming World Cup. Dallas is one of the host cities for the tournament and will host nine matches.

The dispute has sparked widespread public reaction. Following the mural's removal, residents, preservation advocates, and artists have warned that allowing public art to be erased without an artist's approval could set a dangerous precedent for murals and cultural landmarks across the country. They have criticized the decision, with many viewing the mural as an important part of Dallas' identity rather than simply a decorative wall painting.

Now, Wyland hopes the case will shine a national spotlight on artists' rights. Beyond seeking damages, he has framed the fight as an effort to strengthen protections for public art and ensure that future murals cannot be removed without meaningful consultation and legal safeguards.

When Paradise Isn’t Paradise

In a recent piece published on Kiplinger, a New York retiree details how he and his wife dreamed of retiring in Florida. They sold their Albany, New York home and traded the frosty north for the sunny beaches of Boca Raton. After a year and a half in “paradise,” they hate the crowds, extreme weather, and constant threat of hurricanes. 

While Florida does offer great tax incentives for retirees, that initial draw isn’t enough to keep the couple in the Sunshine State. Many people in the same position are taking the “half-back” option, and it’s saving their retirements.

The Half-Back Option

Half-back refers to the phenomenon in which couples leave the Southern states, regret it, but don’t return to the Northeastern states they originally left. They land somewhere in the middle, the halfway point, like Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, or the Carolinas. They still enjoy mild weather without the threats of severe weather, and too many people living in Florida.

Moving Troubles

Unfortunately, this couple will need to stick it out for another six months. If they don’t, they’ll have to pay capital gains on the sale of their home, up to $500,000, because they’ve been in it less than two years.

Fortunately, six months isn’t an enormous amount of time and gives them the opportunity to travel and plan for their next location. States like West Virginia, with the lowest cost of living in the country and milder winters, and Tennessee, with tax breaks and lower living costs, offer attractive options.

No More Mistakes

In the Kiplinger piece, the couple is warned by experts not to jump into the next location. It’s ok to hate where you landed, but important not to make the same mistake twice. There are some amazing places to retire, but the final location will depend heavily on your needs and the life you want.

Things to consider when choosing a retirement destination:

• Affordability
• Access to healthcare
• Activities available for seniors
• Proximity to family, friends, and a support system
• Lifestyle preferences 
• Safety of the location, including crime rates, natural disasters, and economic stability of the area

Finding Forever

It will take a bit of research, but once you find a few great places, your job is to travel to them at different times of the year and see if they fit your wants and needs. Making a mistake the first time is ok, but that just means you’ll need to be more diligent next time. Most of all, don’t stay in a place where you aren’t happy. This is your third chapter, and you get to write it exactly how you want.

Irvin Kershner Discussed Taking on the Role of the Director of 'Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back'

Late filmmaker Irvin Kershner took on the role of the director for Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back, written by Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan. In an interview with Hollywood's Master Storytellers, Kershner shared that he initially rejected Lucas' offer to direct the second Star Wars movie. He explained he felt too much "responsibility" about making the project better than Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope because Lucas wanted to make sure he had a franchise on his hands. In addition, Kershner said he wasn't impressed with the script for The Empire Strikes Back.

Kershner clarified he finally agreed to direct the 1980 film once Lucas told him he would have full creative control.

"George promised me it would be my film. I didn't want anybody looking over my shoulder, so George stayed in California and prepared the models for the special effects. I went to Norway and London," said Kershner during the interview.

Kershner also said that he and Lucas' only disagreement was about Han Solo's (Harrison Ford) now-iconic response to Princess Leia Organa's (Carrie Fisher) declaration of love. The director, who died in 2010 at the age of 87, said he didn't think Han would say "I love you, too" as it was written in the script. After several takes, he encouraged Ford to improvise Han's response to Leia.

"I finally said, 'Harrison, don't think about it. Action.' 'I love you.' He says, 'I know,'" said the director.

According to Kershner, Lucas was concerned about the scene because he believed the audience would find it humorous, which would result in "killing the tension." However, Lucas realized Kershner had made the right choice after audience members of the 1980 film's first showing were delighted by Han's unexpected dialogue and felt it was in character.

President Donald Trump‘s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is practically her mom Vanessa Trump's twin after unveiling a bold hair transformation.

On Wednesday, June 3, Kai, 19, posted a TikTok video of herself during and after changing her hair color from dark blond to light blond.

There’s no doubt that Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) is responsible for some of rock music’s most enduring classics. But given the popularity of the band, which reached its height of success in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s and charted in the Top 10 with over a dozen singles before disbanding in 1972, it’s puzzling to learn that all of their biggest hits fell short of the top spot in the U.S. 

Such is the case with their beloved song, “Bad Moon Rising” — a song which features dark, ominous lyrics over a fun and catchy beat and a guitar riff borrowed from the Elvis Presley classic, “I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone.” 

Released on April 16, 1969, the tune climbed all the way to the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, getting blocked only by Henry Mancini’s “Love Theme From Romeo and Juliet.” At the time, “Bad Moon Rising,” from the band's Green River album, which topped the Billboard 200 chart, had arrived following the success of previous releases like “Proud Mary” and “Born on the Bayou.”

But that rise didn’t stop them from feeling the pressure to land another hit.  

“In those days, you put out singles every few weeks, so when ‘Proud Mary’ was on the radio I knew we had to write the next one,” CCR’s lead vocalist John Fogerty, who penned the tune, said, according to Classic Rock.

“I’d come up with the chords and melody,” he recalls, “and I got the phrase ‘bad moon rising’ from this little book I’d kept song titles in since 1967. I didn’t even know what it meant, I just liked how the words sounded.”

Further explaining the story behind the song, Fogerty said he drew inspiration from a hurricane scene in the 1941 classic film The Devil and Daniel Webster, which tells the story of a down-on-his-luck character who sells his soul to the Devil. 

“The scene I liked is where there’s a devastating hurricane; furniture, trees, houses, everything’s blowing around,” Forgerty confirmed. “That story and that look really stuck in my mind, and they were the germ for the song.”

Since its release, “Bad Moon Rising” has gone on to become a summertime anthem that ranked on notable lists, including Rolling Stone’s 2010 ranked list of “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.” Throughout the years, the timeless classic has also been covered and recorded by at least 20 different artists from across genres.

Fifty-three years ago, the iconic '70s band the Doobie Brothers released "China Grove," a hit that would become a lasting radio anthem, even though it never quite captured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Released on July 25, 1973 as a single from their third studio album The Captain and Me, "China Grove" gradually became a massive hit. Following its initial release, it was played heavily on the airwaves, quickly making it a staple of nationwide album-oriented rock radio (AOR).

Due to its excessive airplay, the track grew major traction throughout the summer of '73. By October, "China Grove" captured its highest charting position, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. In total, the track spent 13 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100 and eight weeks within the top 40.

Produced by Ted Templeman through Warner Bros. Records, "China Grove" was notable for solidifying the Doobie Brothers' definitive classic rock sound. The track incorporated a chugging guitar riff, quirky piano instrumentation and an infectious melody that captured the attention of anyone listening. Its wide-ranging audience appeal set the groundwork for the band's decade-long reign over the rock genre, with legacy hits like "What a Fool Believes" and "Black Water" following in its footsteps.

Written by lead singer and guitarist Tom Johnston, "China Grove" was a uniquely humorous track, experimenting with fictional characters in a sleepy Texas town. The song was born after Johnston passed a road sign for the town while traveling through the Midwest. Subconsciously, the singer wrote about it, not realizing it was an actual place until years after its release.

Over five decades after its debut, "China Grove" continues to be recognized as an iconic rock classic. It remains a staple on not just rock stations, but also in the digital era through streaming platforms. On Spotify alone, the song has racked up over 194.5 million streams, attesting to its ability to reach new audiences long after its initial release.

When the film Groundswell premieres on Prime Video on June 5, two familiar voices will be narrating the documentary: Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson. However, the two, who starred together in the 1993 film Indecent Proposal, are much more involved than just the voices viewers will hear.

"I know truly how committed and passionate Woody has been around this subject matter on a variety of levels," Moore, 63, told PEOPLE. "I think what's beautiful is, we both share having three adult daughters, and I think you do feel a greater responsibility as a parent to do whatever part you can to protect this beautiful planet."

Groundswell is the third film of a trilogy created by Josh and Rebecca Tickell that began with 2020's Kiss the Ground and continued with 2023's Common Ground. The films explore the positive effects regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming have on our environment and climate. The Tickell's goal is to secure enough support for a transition to regenerative agriculture, converting one billion acres of farmland.

"I know what you're thinking," Harrelson, 64, says at the beginning of the film. "Not another depressing climate documentary. Well, this film is different."

Harrelson and Moore aren't just passive narrators, though; both speak about why they got involved in the film. For Moore, who also serves as an executive producer, it has to do with family.

"I look at that and I say, 'What am I doing today to leave our planet better for my grandchildren and my grandchildren's children?'" she explained. "What we do today, on all levels, creates what our future will look like. I think our planet is clearly crying and hurting."

Moore also admitted that she's taking a step towards sustainability by planting her own garden to grow food.

Harrelson's Renewed Optimism

Harrelson, who is an executive producer and narrator on all three films, previously spoke about his renewed optimism, thanks to the public's response to the first two documentaries.

"I’m no longer hopeless," he toldThe Wrap in 2023. "I’m actually inspired. In fact, I’m committed to using my voice and activism to make the regenerative agriculture movement spread far and wide."

The Oscar-winning 2018 musical biopic about Freddie Mercury's life,Bohemian Rhapsody, is leaving Netflix in less than a month.

The news comes just three months after the Rami Malek-led movie was added to the platform in April 2026. It will no longer be available on Netflix as of July 1.

Bohemian Rhapsodyis a biographical drama that follows the early career of Mercury, the legendary frontman of the rock band Queen. It was directed by Bryan Singer and starred Malek as Mercury while following the singer’s rise from working at London’s Heathrow Airport to becoming one of the most iconic performers in music history.

The story highlights Queen’s formation in the early 1970s, the creation of many of their biggest hits, Mercury’s personal and romantic struggles, and ends with the band’s infamous performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert. The last two living members of the band, Brian May and Roger Taylor, worked as consultants on the film to ensure the story was as accurate as possible.

Bohemian Rhapsody was a massive commercial success, earning more than $900 million worldwide and setting records as one of the highest-grossing music biopics ever released. While reviews were mixed—it has a 60% Tomatometer and 85% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes—the movie was an awards season darling.
