‘Love on the Spectrum’: David Announces His ‘Very Personal’ Children’s Book
The cast of Love on the Spectrum has been making big moves outside the show. Season 4 of the show introduced new singles and established couples.
David Isaacman wasn't a main cast member this season. But he revealed that he's releasing a children's book inspired by his love for lions.
When Will 'The Big Five Save the Lions' Be Released? View this post on InstagramThe first episode of Love on the Spectrum showed David, 31, and Abbey Romeo having their first date at the zoo. She asked him what is his favorite animal. "The African Lion," he answered.

Now he's releasing a book about the lion, almost five years later, called The Big Five Save the Lions. He shared the cartoon cover of kids wearing lion-inspired clothing and holding lion stuffed animals on Instagram on April 9.
"This story is very personal to me—it’s inspired by me and my friends, reimagined as kids and superheroes," read part of the caption. "We care about protecting animals and standing up for what matters. The characters are also on the autism spectrum, just like me, and that representation means a lot."
The story is by David and Bonnie Bensur, and Bats Langley created the art. David talked about having synesthesia last season, and he associates numbers with colors. Abbey previously explained this in season 3.
"I'm glad you're learning it from me, Abbey," he told her. She learned what each number and color is to him. That aspect of his autism will be depicted in the book.
The book will be released on August 11. People can preorder the hardcover book on Amazon for $17.99, Bookshop.org, and request it at a library.

These 4 Birth Dates Naturally Manifest Happiness
All professional astrologers and mystics always get asked the same question: “Is happiness written in the stars?” While the answer is rich and complicated due to many different ways of being approached, the promise of happiness can and does show up in one’s birth imprint. According to numerology, the day someone is born acts as a blueprint or sacred soul code, unveiling the wide range of possibilities in this incarnation. While the numbers of someone's birth year and birth month are important, the birth date’s digits bring a more fated quality to the experience of the native.
Read on to discover which four birth dates naturally attract happiness, according to experts.
Which Birth Dates Attract Happiness, According to ExpertsCheck for your birth date. Disregard birth months.
Born on the 29th: Personal HappinessThere is nothing more personal than happiness, and you were born to reach it! Numerologically, 29th is a very special number for a few reasons. Being one of the last numbers of the month, it represents your soul coming to a state of completion in this incarnation. Although you can and will experience it, you’re not here to chase worldly, relationship, or experiential success. What you attract is a bypass of your depth or character and great wisdom. Reducing 29 first yields 11, a master number associated with enlightenment and spiritual depth due to its perfect balance of feminine and masculine energies. Reduce to a single digit, 11 becomes 2, the purest manifestation of lunar wisdom, speaking of your ability to reach personal happiness as a result of your emotional depth and strong connection to the magic of the Moon.
RELATE?: The 4 Birth Dates That Naturally Attract Success
Born on the 3rd: Karmic HappinessIf you were born on the 3rd of any month, congratulations! The day you were born responds to the purest numerological influence of Jupiter. Strongly connected with the Wheel of Fortune, Jupiter is the planet of abundance and prosperity. Some of the actions you performed in your past lives were benevolent, acquiring the karma points you’re cashing on right now. These karma points translate into an optimistic outlook on the world around you, as well as a gift for being “in the right place, at the right time.” You were given the gift of imagination, which you can utilize to create the life of your dreams. As you joyfully chase your dreams, your charisma lands you the favor of mentors, spiritual guides, and powerful friends. As long as you channel your creativity and keep your long-term priorities in perspective, the sky is the limit in terms of happiness.
FUN!: The 4 Birth Months With an Ethereal, High Priestess-Like Aura
Born on the 15th: Happiness in Love & FamilySome people are born for professional success, others for creativity—and while you can have those two, you were born to create long-lasting, happy relationships. The number 15 reduces to 6, the only single-digit ruled by Venus, the celestial overseer of relationships. Even from a young age, it may have been easy for you to attract friends and admirers. And once invested, you’re one to stay committed to making the relationship work. Your happiness derives not just from luck but also from your desire to make things work, regardless of the nature of the relationships. Honoring this happiness, however, also involves honoring yourself and your boundaries when the time comes. Knowing when to retreat and put yourself first ensures how valuable your love and support are. Queen-like Venus wouldn’t have it any other way!

Born on the 23rd: Your Happiness Is ExperientialHappiness has many manifestations, and for you, it is experiential. Like a white canvas and an open book, you’re eager to be filled with new experiences, which is no surprise! Your birth date digits reduce to 5, a number ruled by Mercury, the swift planet of movement and communication. You desire to accumulate many life experiences, and most of the time, the universe matches your desire. The happiness you were born to have is experiential, which you attract by being adaptable and open-minded. Since Mercury is the planet of communication, your sharp mind and talent for expressing yourself also play a key role, too. You may decide to find either a career or a hobby that aligns with your creative speaking or writing. As you express yourself authentically, more adventurous people and experiences find you.

Annie's Mac & Cheese Brand Releases Two New Flavors Guaranteed to Fly Off Shelves
There's nothing quite like a piping hot bowl of mac and cheese, making a potentially burdensome weeknight dinner into a quick and easy process that yields plenty of tasty results.
Such is especially the case when talking about a brand as altogether beloved as Annie's, one of the premier mac and cheese brands next to Kraft and Velveeta.
For the past several decades, Annie's has continually found new ways to emphasize quality first and foremost, paving the way to rich, fluffy servings of mac and cheese that are as gorgeous to look at as they are to sit down and actually enjoy.
And once again, the iconic mac and cheese brand has managed to outdo themselves with their latest and greatest product innovations.
According to Allrecipes, Annie's has officially added two new flavors to their expansive lineup in the form of their new Chipotle Queso Mac & Cheese and Alfredo Mac & Cheese.
As the names might suggest, each new product offers a wildly different flavor profile sure to please fans across the country.
With Chipotle Queso, fans can tuck into a bold Tex Mex-inspired dish that's smooth and savory in all the right places, yet zesty and slightly spicy in a few others. Alfredo, meanwhile, delivers the same standout flavors of an actual bowl of Alfredo pasta, right down to its eye-catching velvety texture.
As with almost all of Annie's permanent products, the new mac and cheese flavors rely on natural ingredients, rather than artificial additives to make their pasta come to life. Arriving in stores this coming spring, they're also sure to prove popular among everyone in the mood for a hearty bowl of mac and cheese.
Whether looking for a fast and convenient weekday dinner or a simple afternoon snack to enjoy on the weekend, Annie's once again has shoppers covered with all their basic mac and cheese-centric necessities.

Emma Roberts Returns as Madison Montgomery in 'American Horror Story' Season 13
Emma Roberts is officially returning to American Horror Story as Madison Montgomery for Season 13. The news dropped on Thursday, April 9, when AHS creator Ryan Murphy shared a video on Instagram captioned: "@emmaroberts Returns as Madison Montgomery. AHS 13. September."
In the clip, the 35-year-old Scream Queens alum sits at a piano in a candlelit room, turns slowly to the camera, and says: "Surprise, b***h. Bet you thought you'd seen the last of me." The screen cuts to black. "AHS 13" flashes. Then: "September."
View this post on InstagramIt didn't take long for the comments section to lose its collective mind.
"AS MADISON MONTGOMERY??? this is insane," one fan wrote.
"Oh my god, our favorite movie star is back," said another.
"I used to pray for times like this," chimed in a third.
Celebrities showed up too. Noah Cyrus wrote "THATS F***ING RIGHT," Nicole Richie commented "Obsessed," Bebe Rexha dropped an "Omggggggg," and even Walmart's official account got in on it: "I have nobody to talk to about this."
Roberts first played the telekinetic witch and former movie star in AHS: Coven in 2013 and brought her back in Apocalypse in 2018. Madison Montgomery has been killed off and resurrected more than once across the series, so this is very on-brand. Season 13 will mark Julia Roberts' niece's seventh season of AHS overall, having also appeared in Freak Show, Cult, 1984, and Delicate.

The season premieres in September 2026 on FX.
Carnival Just Added a New 'Free' Menu Option to These Ships—And It’s a Total Crowd-Pleaser
If there is one thing the "Fun Ships" know how to do, it’s lean into the flavors that make a sea day feel like a celebration. While we all love a Guy’s Burger, Carnival is currently testing a new complimentary lunchtime concept that is making a serious play for the title of "Best Free Lunch at Sea."
Enter: Chicken, Waffles & Waves.
Currently popping up as a pop-up test on fan-favorite ships like the Conquest, Glory, Freedom and Liberty, this new station is all about Southern comfort and maximum flexibility.
Related: Carnival Just Solved the Biggest ‘Time Tax’ of Your Cruise Vacation
View this post on InstagramReplacing the older "Ol’ Fashioned BBQ" on Deck 10, this new spot feels like a curated mashup of Shaq’s Big Chicken and Guy Fieri’s Pig & Anchor. A recent menu shows slow-cooked pork butt, BBQ brisket and mac and cheese, alongside the namesake chicken and waffles.
While the superfans on social media are already buzzing about the flavors, the real test will be in the execution—after all, a waffle is only as good as its crunch. It’s a bold move that shows Carnival is listening to the demand for high-quality, "grab-and-go" comfort food that doesn't cost an extra dime.
But the innovation doesn't stop at the chicken coop. Carnival is also rolling out Express Dining in its main dining rooms, a move designed for the traveler who wants a multi-course meal without the two-hour commitment.
For those of us who would rather spend our evening at a comedy show or the casino than lingering over coffee, this option promises a full dinner in under an hour. It’s part of a broader "trial-and-error" strategy that has also seen the successful expansion of Bagels @ Sea—a fresh bagel breakfast concept that started on the Panorama and has since migrated to nearly half a dozen other ships.
Related: Carnival Issues a Warning Over the ‘Bonkers’ New Trend Taking Over Cruise Ships
Whether it’s a quick bagel before an excursion or a 45-minute sit-down dinner, the message from Carnival HQ is clear: they want you to spend less time waiting and more time enjoying. By testing these smaller, niche concepts rather than forcing a fleet-wide overhaul, they’re letting guest feedback steer the ship. For the "Loyal to Royal" crowd or the Carnival faithful, it’s a refreshing reminder that sometimes the best upgrades are the ones that make your day-to-day vacation just a little bit tastier—and a whole lot faster.

'Outlander' Author Diana Gabaldon Breaks Down Jamie’s Controversial Decision — And Why the Ridge Will Never Be the Same (Exclusive)
When the “Blessed Are the Merciful” episode of Outlander aired today, it was the halfway mark for the eighth and final season of the hit STARZ time-travel series, based on the bestselling novels by Diana Gabaldon.
In it, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) has decided to evict all the men on Fraser’s Ridge who took part in Captain Cunningham’s (Kieran Bew) scheme to kidnap Jamie, hand him over to Captain Ferguson of the King’s army and have him hanged for treason.
Hiram Crombie, Geordie Hallahan, Ewan Adair, Robert McCanahan, Connor MacNeil, Lachlan Hunt, Holman Leslie, Joseph Baird and William Baird comprised Cunningham’s posse, so the Ridge was about to lose a good portion of its population when Jamie gave them 10 days to pack up and leave.

Claire tried to intercede on behalf of the women, but Jamie wanted the men who were traitors to him off the Ridge. And then all their wives and children showed up at his home to entreat him for compassion. At first, he was having none of it, but then he came up with a plan.
“This is more or less per book, but simplified to the point that it doesn't make nearly as much sense as it does in the book,” Gabaldon exclusively tells Parade. “Per book, the women are a) distressed by Jamie's edict, but b) much madder at their men-folk for putting them in this position.
“They come to beg mercy from Jamie, showing up en masse with their helpless children (for heart-wringing purposes), and start by offering deep and humble apologies for their husbands' stupidity, moving slickly along to guilting Jamie for putting helpless women and children out of their homes...after all, they didn't betray him. But then very delicately remind him that by doing so, he's also exiling these women's (adult) brothers, sons and nephews who weren't involved in the betrayal, but whose support he's obviously going to need, urgently.”
At first, Jamie resists their entreaties, but then he comes up with a plan that he knows won’t go down well with the men.
“Jamie may be furious, but he's not a fool, and gets the women's point at once,” Gabaldon continues. “He takes a deep breath, revokes the edict of banishment for their husbands--but tears up the deeds to their land, and says he will write new deeds giving the land explicitly to the women, alone; their husbands are not to have any legal share in the farms...though if the women choose to feed their husbands, that's their own concern.
“This neatly solves both the problem of throwing innocent (more or less; as he notes to Claire later, the women plainly knew what their husbands were up to, and didn't tell him) women and children out to starve, and losing a substantial chunk of his potential military forces. Beyond that (we're getting all this both through what Mrs. MacIlhenny tells Jamie, but more explicitly through Claire's thoughts (which, of course, the show can't do). Her thoughts also include the fact that Jamie really doesn't want all that land lying vacant, not being farmed — which would put a substantial dent in his own income, as he takes a landlord's share — but also being a temptation to outsiders who might see the decimated Ridge as easy pickings.
Related: Outlander Author Diana Gabaldon Reveals the Truth Behind Fergus’ Shocking Twist (Exclusive)
“So he bites the bullet and gives the land to the women. He's not out anything, the Ridge will continue to be occupied and productive, the brothers and sons will owe him, and the women now have the power to control their husbands, at least to some degree.”
John Bell as Ian and Izzy Meikle-Small as Rachel in 'Outlander'Courtesy: STARZ
It isn’t just Jamie who shows mercy in this episode, but also Rachel (Izzy Meikle-Small), who experiences some jealousy when they learn that Ian’s ex-wife, Works with her Hands, survived the massacre, but then rises above it. When Ian gets turned away from seeing her, Rachel takes it upon herself to make it happen, even agreeing at the end for his son to come home to the Ridge to live with them. Rachel says to Works with her Hands, "He will always be your son, but I will love him as my own." And Works with her Hands names their baby Hunter, which Rachel says resonates with her.
“This is showing Rachel's deep patience and Ffiend-like love (for her fellow woman, in this case, as well as for Ian and the little boy). The show tends either to shy away from or to misunderstand Quaker principles (such as when Denzell [Joey Phillips] confessed to Claire [Caitríona Balfe] (last season) that he (thought he) took the death and bloodshed they encountered in dealing with battle casualties much harder than she (and by extension, the other male) surgeons did, because he was a Quaker.
Related:Outlander Author Diana Gabaldon Reveals the Dark Twist She Wishes the Show Didn’t Cut (Exclusive)
“In fact, the converse would be the case. Friends are very calm about death, because they consider it a natural and holy transition, and a natural part of life. (Which, in all truth, it is.) They don't hold any set views on the afterlife, figuring that if there is one, God has it figured out. And Denzell is just not a wuss.
"As for Rachel, she (like her brother) values each life as a God-given thing, and thus treats even bad people with respect and concern. She's naturally a bit taken aback to meet Works with her Hands unexpectedly--especially with what (the show has decided) is presumably Ian's son by her. Per book (and history...), adoption of both children and adults is/was very common. But Native Americans also have a lot more flexibility about life, death, and birth than Western Europeans do. So, if Works with her Hands says that this child is Ian's, it doesn't necessarily mean he was the sperm donor, but that's not a distinction that Ian's non-Indian family would make. And for purposes of the story, it's better if Rachel just accepts wee Hunter as being Ian's.
Related: Outlander’s Caitríona Balfe Says Final Season Was Her Most Difficult Yet — Here’s Why (Exclusive)
“As for his name, Rachel is pleased about it because her and Denny's family name was/is Hunter, and she might well have named her own child that (and does...).
“Per book, the boy's name is Swiftest of Lizards (in Cherokee). And once adopted back into Ian's life, he's referred to as Totis, which is a shortened form of the Cherokee name. The child Rachel gives birth to is named Hunter (though he's known within the family as Oggy).”
Charles Vandervaart as William RansomCourtesy STARZ
And then, there’s the conflict between William (Charles Vandervaart) and Ben, where no mercy is shown. Ben, now General Bleeker (Alex Bhat), throws William in the stockade after they tumble around on the ground, beating on each other over Amaranthus (Carla Woodcock). And why on earth would William goad him about Amaranthus?
Related:Sam Heughan Reflects on How ‘Outlander’ Has Changed Everything (Exclusive)
“Well, William is both shocked and very angry, both because Ben (whom he's been idolizing), has turned his coat, thus giving the finger to the King, Ben's father and brothers, and William himself," Gabaldon explains. "William taunts him with Amaranthus because he's trying to rub Ben's face in her betrayal. (Per book, we have good reason to think that it's not Ben that Amaranthus is betraying, but the show hasn't got time or space to introduce that one...) It also gives William the excuse (he thinks) to punch Ben, which he badly wants to do. (Per book, when William finds Ben and finds out what he's been up to, they retire to a private spot and try to kill each other. Ben succeeds in temporarily knocking William out and takes him prisoner, and a lot of other stuff that the show can't do then happens."
Outlander will air new episodes each Friday at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms; and at 8 p.m. ET/PT/7 Central on the linear network.

Bryan Cranston’s Wife Robin Dearden: Inside Their 37-Year Hollywood Love Story
In 2023, headlines spread that Bryan Cranstonwas going to retire from acting in 2026 and move for six months with his wife, Robin Dearden, to a small village in Europe, possibly France. He later clarified that he was merely going to “hit the pause button” on his career so that he and Dearden could recalibrate their relationship.
“I’ve been married to the best person in the world for 35 years,” Cranston told TODAY in January 2024. "But she has been the ‘plus one’ in this industry, right? And I want to change that. I want to move out of that kind of imbalance … she’s looking forward to having me back, and not having to follow me around.”
Now that 2026 is here, the seven-time Emmy winner has so far been busy shooting The Studio Season 2 and promoting the revival of Malcolm in the Middle, which premieres April 10 on Hulu. Whether he'll put his plan for a restorative marital getaway into effect before the year is up remains to be seen.
Keep reading for more details about Cranston's rare, long-lasting Hollywood marriage.
Who is Bryan Cranston’s wife?Cranston has been married to Robin Dearden for nearly 37 years. Recalling his proposal on 60 Minutes, Cranston said he popped the question while they were in the bathtub, sitting back-to-front with him behind her. “If I were facing her, I wouldn’t have gotten through it—I would’ve started crying,” he explained.
Dearden, meanwhile, was more confused than moved at first, thinking, “What the hell is this?”
Cranston had slipped the ring onto his baby toe. When he lifted his foot out of the water, he told her, “Here’s your ring—but I can’t reach it. You’ll have to take it off my toe.”
Spoiler: She said yes!

Is Robin Dearden an actress?Yes. While she may not be as instantly recognizable as her husband, Dearden has appeared in a variety of shows over the years, including Murder, She Wrote and Magnum, P.I. She also starred in the 1999 movie Last Chance, which Cranston wrote and directed as a birthday gift to her.
How did Bryan Cranston and Robin Dearden meet? They met on the set of what Cranston once called a “terrible” 1980s show, Airwolf, in which Dearden played a hostage and Cranston was the villain holding her at gunpoint. But they didn’t strike up a romance right away. “He had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend at the time,” Dearden told People. “But I thought that he was the funniest man that I had ever met.”
It wasn’t until they ran into each other about a year later that they became more than friends.
When did Bryan Cranston and Robin Dearden get married? The couple tied the knot on July 8, 1989. At the time, they were both working actors and it would be another 10-plus years, when Cranston was in his early 40s, that he would made it big with Malcolm in the Middle.
“I was already a father, a husband, a homeowner, I knew what was important,” he told Route Magazine. When the show hit, he continued, “I was socking away that money. We didn’t go out and buy anything, we were just putting that money in the bank, putting it in a 529 plan for our daughter to be able to go to college.”
Remarkably, Cranston had a second, very different television hit with Breaking Bad, a show his wife encouraged him to take.
“I always get her counsel, because we're together, whatever I do affects her,” he said. “So I wanted to get her input on it. And I said to her, 'Just know that this show would shoot in Albuquerque, New Mexico if it were to happen.' And I handed her the script and she started reading the script. And I would peek in to see every once in a while and she was like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom to the end. And right when she got near the end, I came back into the room and she went, 'sh-t.' She just said 'sh-t' and I knew that was her approval.”
Who was Bryan Cranston’s first wife?Cranston was married to writer Mickey Middleton from 1977 to 1982.
Do Bryan Cranston and Robin Dearden have kids? They have one daughter together, Taylor Dearden, who they welcomed in 1993. She followed in her parents’ footsteps and is now starring in The Pitt as Dr. Melissa “Mel” King.

Is Bryan Cranston still married?Yes, Cranston and Dearden are still a couple. When asked about the secret to his long-lasting marriage, Cranston told People, “Marry the right person. I think there are five things that you should look for in a mate. Whatever those five things are to you, you need those five things. After that, let it go. We’re never going to be completely alike on everything.”
He also shared in an interview with British GQ that he and his wife have been going to therapy together since before they were married. “I look at it like the warning light going off on your dashboard,” he said. “It’s telling you, ‘You might want to pay attention to this.’ I love my wife, and we want to go the distance, but I want to do it in a healthy way. I don’t want to just be with her. I don’t want to just have the two of us go into a restaurant and no one says a word.”
In that same interview, Cranston revealed his plan to escape with Dearden in 2026 to a small village in foreign country, where they’d learn the language and grow a garden.
“I want to change the paradigm once again,” he said. “For the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding onto my tail. … She’s had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefit from it, but we’re uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it.”
5 Storylines From ‘Outlander’ Season 8 Episode 6 Taken Straight From the Books
Once again, Outlander captures the heart of the books by Diana Gabaldon. Outlander Season 8 Episode 6 had five main storylines that came straight from the books, and there were others that were slight twists.
For example, Roger sharing his memory with Bree doesn’t exactly come from the books. However, we do know how the story plays out during A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows, as we read how Dolly threw Roger from the stairs of the tube to Jerry, who caught his son but then sadly died.
As for the rest of the arcs, they mostly come from Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. Some of the twists are needed for the lack of time available in the TV series compared to the books.

Jamie Figures Out How to Work with the WomenJamie can’t have people who would try to kill him at Fraser’s Ridge. So, he decides that all of their tenancies are null and void, which does come straight out of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, the ninth book in the Outlander series. It’s an understandable decision, because he can’t trust the men living on his land anymore.
However, the women do come to him to ask for some sort of reprieve. They didn’t know what their husbands were doing, and if they had any say in the matter, they would have told their husbands to stand down.
In the end, Jamie can’t see the women and children cast out. He decides to change the tenancies to be in the wives’ names, so everyone gets to stay, but he will not deal with the men.

Jamie Allows Cunningham to Leave Fraser’s RidgeThere is also the need to figure out what to do with Captain Cunningham. He should be executed for his actions against Jamie, but we have a Highlander with a heart. At the same time, there are questions about whether Cunningham can even remain a threat when he’ll need to have his mother care for him for the rest of his life.
Outlander Season 8 Episode 6 sees Jamie agree that Elspeth can take Cunningham back to England, just like in the books. And there is a sadness to this, as it means Claire loses someone she started to consider a friend.

Amaranthus Knew All AlongWilliam is shocked to learn that Amanarthus knew that Ben was going to fake his death and switch to the Continental side in the Revolutionary War. Well, that’s not a show invention. Amaranthus knew in the books, and she even encouraged her husband to do this. With Ben being alive, we also get confirmation that he and Amaranthus did marry and that Trevor is his son.
Something that does change in this story is William being arrested and Denny finding a way to help him escape. In the novels, Denny helps Lord John Grey escape during Written in My Own Heart’s Blood.
Courtesy of STARZ
Young Ian Meets with Joseph BrantThere are some minor tweaks to the overall storyline of Young Ian and Joseph Brant meeting on the show, but this is an arc from the books. During An Echo in the Bone, Young Ian does head to the Mohawk village. He’s sent by General St. Clair’s aide to deliver a letter to Brant, and it leads to them having tea.
He later meets with Brant again, where they end up hunting together. It’s clear that the storyline had to be somewhat condensed to work with the time available on the show, but the overall arc hasn’t been affected by this.
Courtesy of STARZ
Emily Asks Young Ian to Take Her SonIn the novels, Swiftest of Lizards isn’t officially confirmed as Young Ian’s son. There is the possibility, but there was no way at the time to confirm this. That being said, Emily does turn to Young Ian for help in protecting her son. Just like on Outlander Season 8 Episode 6, she asks Young Ian and Rachel to take her child, while passing over one of Rollo’s grandpups.
She also gives Baby Oggy his name. And yes, it’s Hunter just like on the show. Emily has no idea that Rachel’s maiden name is Hunter, so it creates that spiritual moment between the two wives of Young Ian.
Outlander continues to air on Fridays on STARZ.

Everything to Know About Bryan Cranston’s Actress Daughter, Taylor Dearden
Bryan Cranston is great at playing a TV dad—after all, he’s had years of experience.
The seven-time Emmy-winning actor is arguably best known for playing Hal, the devoted father of teen genius Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) in the Fox sitcomMalcolm in the Middle (which ran for seven seasons from 2000 to 2006), and Walter White, a chemistry teacher and father of two who morphs into a villainous crystal-meth manufacturer over five seasons of AMC’s crime epic Breaking Bad (which aired from 2008 to 2013).
In his most recent lead TV role on the two-season Showtime drama Your Honor, he portrayed Michael Desiato, a New Orleans judge willing to do anything to protect his son after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run. And in his latest project, Everything's Going to Be Great—a coming-of-age drama directed by Jon S. Baird—Cranston put on the dad pants yet again as the wannabe Broadway producer father of passionate theater kid Lester Smart (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth).
However, probably the most important role in Cranston’s portfolio is as real-life dad to daughter Taylor Dearden, who has followed in her famous pop’s footsteps as an actress—in fact, you might have spotted her scrubbing up for the buzzy medical drama The Pitt.
Here’s everything we know about Taylor Dearden and her dear old dad, Bryan Cranston.

Bryan Cranston and his wife, Robin Dearden, welcomed daughter Taylor Dearden Cranston—known professionally as Taylor Dearden—on Feb. 12, 1993, in Los Angeles.
The now-33-year-old Dearden has acting blood in her veins; not only are both of her parents performers, but her grandfather is also actor-producer Joseph Cranston.
After graduating in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of Southern California, Dearden began to pursue acting, though she was mindful of the nepo-baby labels, with her dad revealing that she declined any professional help from her parents. "She’s very independent and very conscientious of not having any association or hint thereof of nepotism," Cranston told BritishGQ in 2023.
Instead, she worked her way up from short films to a lead role on the buddy-dramedy Sweet/Vicious for MTV. Though the series was cancelled after one season in 2017, it led to more high-profile work, including gigs on the Netflix mockumentary American Vandal, the Apple TV+ sci-fi series For All Mankind and, most notably, the hit HBO Max doctor drama The Pitt.
In the critically acclaimed medical show, Dearden portrays Dr. Melissa "Mel" King, a neurodivergent second-year resident who has experience working with military veterans. She reprises the fan-favorite role in Season 2, which dropped in January 2026.

Yes, Taylor Dearden identifies as neurodivergent and has severe ADHD, which she previously revealed has had a profound effect on her performance as Dr. Mel in Max’s The Pitt. Speaking with NPR in an April 2025 interview, Dearden called the series “a very tough show for neurodivergents to be in.”
“It moves really fast. It's really hard words. It's actions we just learned. You have to put all of that together at the same time and as quickly as possible. And we go so quickly, we don't have much time to take a second to review, to calm down. And so it's definitely a challenge to shoot,” the actress shared.
“It's also very tough to explain to people what's going on inside. If it's not—you can't see that I'm panic-stricken. It's kind of hard to understand that I am,” she continued. “I eventually had to get some earplugs that just soften external noise so that you could at least try and hear better just what's in front of you. And I started wearing those, which I definitely pitched, like, ‘I think Mel should wear these,’ which is just so that I can wear them. … There's a lot of things that have to happen for it to be, I don't know, comfortable to explore.”
The performer also shared how empowering it’s been to share her own real-life neurodivergence through her performance: “I can mask only so much, and I'm really ready for people to know. I tell everyone I meet because there are certain social behaviors that might seem odd. And so I usually have to tell everyone I meet, like, ‘In case I do this, just so you know, it's not on purpose.’ So it was great for them to let it be my decision completely. I feel like it's the right move.”
Have Bryan Cranston and Taylor Dearden acted together?Yes, both Bryan Cranston and Taylor Dearden have acted together on Cranston’s series Breaking Bad. Taylor appeared in the first episode of Season 3, entitled “No Más,” as a student at the high school where her dad’s character, Walter White, taught.
Alas, like that title, there has been no more shared screen time thus far between parent and child, but that only means that The Pitt producers have to get Bryan Cranston on the show, STAT!

Who is Bryan Cranston’s wife, Robin Dearden? As mentioned, Bryan Cranston’s wife is also a professional actress: Robin Dearden—who The Phoenician Scheme star married in July 1989 after meeting on the TV show Airwolf five years prior—is known for the television series Magic Mongo, Generations and Magnum, P.I. She is Cranston’s second wife; he was married to writer Mickey Middleton from 1977 to 1982.
Along with Airwolf, the actress has worked with her famous spouse several times, including on Breaking Bad (like her daughter, Taylor, she also appeared in the Season 3 episode “No Más,” which was directed by her husband) and in the 1999 feature Last Chance (Cranston wrote and directed the film).
Of his wife and the mother of his child, Cranston told PEOPLE in 2020, "Robin is a compassionate, righteous person. Her default mechanism is emotion and love. And she's not cynical. I am! I'm sarcastic and she's sweet. It's a young spirit she's always maintained.”

Matt Fitzpatrick’s Pregnant Wife Shows off Baby Bump In Cute Caddy Outfit at The Masters
Golfer Matt Fitzpatrick just made headlines for inadvertently knocking a beer out of a fan’s hand on April 9 at The Masters. But it looks like this sports star isn’t the only one in the family to get some time in the spotlight. Fans are obsessed with his pregnant wife, Katherine Fitzpatrick, and the cute caddy outfit she wore during the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday.
Katherine (Gaal) Fitzpatrick met her husband just months after the professional golfer won the 2022 US Open. The pair went public in 2023 and announced their engagement by the end of the year. Fitzpatrick and Gaal married in 2024, naming the reception tables after famous golf courses. In a heartfelt Instagram post featuring precious pics of the day (including one of a centerpiece positioned next to an “Augusta” place card), Katherine wrote, “Best day of our lives.”
View this post on InstagramNow it looks like her “best day” may have some competition. The pair is pregnant with their first child! Fitzpatrick announced their baby news on Instagram recently, posting two precious baby-bump-baring black-and-white pics along with the caption, “We can’t wait to meet our baby.” Friends and fans sent their well-wishes. Fellow Masters golfer Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims wrote, “Greatest journey yet!” and WWE’s Brie Garcia added, “Yay! Congratulations!”
View this post on InstagramThis week, the mama-to-be got the chance to show off her growing belly in a cute caddy jumpsuit. Like the other wives, girlfriends, and partners, Katherine joined her husband on the green for the annual Masters’ Par 3 Contest. The day was filled with family fun and adorable antics from cute kiddos who roamed the course, caddying for their famous fathers. But the littlest gusts weren’t the only ones to steal the show.
View this post on InstagramBefore the contest, Matt Fitpatrick’s pregnant wife, Katherine, posted a playful Instagram clip of herself getting ready for the day, writing, “Ugh incredibly thicc in this jumpsuit.#23weekspregant.” Fans and friends flocked to the post, commenting, “So cute!” and “Glowing.”
Of course, Katherine wasn’t the only wife to get just as much attention as the golders this week. Scottie Scheffler’s wife, Meredith, walked the course for the Masters’ Par 3 Contest less than two weeks after giving birth to the couple’s second child, a baby boy named Remy. Fans gushed over the mom-of-two, calling her a “rockstar” and saying that she deserves the iconic green jacket.
Unlike Scheffler (Meredith, that is), Katherine won’t have to worry about toting around a newborn next year. The pregnant mommy is due in September 2026, giving her plenty of time before the 2027 Masters.
People Are Highly Suspicious of a Thank-You Note a Passenger Allegedly Found on His Southwest Airlines Seat
Air travel has always come with its fair share of odd moments, but a recent viral Reddit post has people questioning whether one airline is trying a little too hard to win back goodwill.
A passenger flying with Southwest Airlines shared a photo of a handwritten thank-you note they allegedly found on their seat before takeoff. What might have once been seen as a thoughtful gesture quickly turned into something else entirely: suspicion. Online, many users weren’t charmed, but instead, they were skeptical, even cynical, about what the note really represented.
The Viral Note That Raised EyebrowsIn the now widely discussed Reddit thread, the passenger described discovering a handwritten message thanking them for flying and expressing appreciation for their business. The note said:
“Thank you for being a valued A-List Preferred Customer! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you!”
At face value, it sounds like a small but meaningful attempt at customer connection, but the internet wasn’t buying it.
One comment said, “too convenient.”
Others speculated it might be part of a broader effort to soften the airline’s image.
"Trying to earn some good publicity after they’ve pissed their customer base off. Typical corporate stupidity," accused another.
The tone of the discussion quickly shifted from curiosity to skepticism, with many pointing out that such gestures are rare enough to feel unusual, if not outright orchestrated.

A Tough Year for Customer PerceptionOver the past year, Southwest Airlines has faced mounting customer criticism over a series of controversial changes.
In 2026 alone, the airline made a major shift away from its long-standing open seating model, introducing assigned seating, which is a move that frustrated many loyal passengers. Complaints quickly surfaced about confusing policies, added fees, and, as some travelers described, a decline in transparency. Against that backdrop, it’s easier to understand why a simple thank-you note might be met with raised eyebrows rather than appreciation.
Genuine Gesture or Strategic Optics? There’s no definitive evidence that the note was part of an official campaign. It’s entirely possible that a flight attendant or crew member left it as a personal gesture, something that occasionally happens in customer service roles.
But perception matters. When a brand is already under scrutiny, even small actions can be interpreted through a more critical lens. What might once have been seen as thoughtful can instead feel performative, especially if it appears inconsistent with the broader customer experience.
In this case, many travelers seem to be asking a bigger question: if service has declined in noticeable ways, why focus on symbolic gestures instead of systemic improvements?

The Bigger TakeawayThe viral reaction to this note highlights something important about modern travel: trust is fragile.
Airlines don’t just compete on price or routes; they compete on experience. And once passengers feel that experience is slipping, rebuilding confidence takes more than a handwritten message.
For Southwest Airlines, the path forward likely isn’t about isolated moments of goodwill, but about consistency. Clear policies, reliable service, and transparency tend to matter more than one-off gestures, no matter how well-intentioned they may be.
Because in today’s travel landscape, even a simple “thank you” can raise a complicated question: is it genuine or damage control?

1977 No. 1 Soft Rock Hit Became a Career-Defining Classic—and an Anthem for Lonely Hearts
In the spring of 1977, Leo Sayer hit it big with “When I Need You.” The song, from the singer’s 1976 album Endless Flight, hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 14, 1977, remaining on the music chart for 20 weeks.
"When I Need You" was written by Albert Hammond and Carole Bayer Sager, and it was a departure for Sayer, who’d previously had success with the pop hits “Long Tall Glasses (I Can Dance)” in 1975, and 1976's “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing,” both of which he co-wrote. As he aspired to find greater success in the United States, the English singer was drawn to the lonely-hearts ballad penned by the legendary songwriting duo.
"I was still a singer/songwriter, and so I had to find something I believed in,” Sayer was quoted as saying in the book 1000 UK Number One Hits. “There was a lot of compromising, but I liked Albert Hammond's songs and of course, Carole wrote ‘Groovy Kind of Love.’ ...So I put on 'When I Need You' and wow! My wife, Janice, was home in England, and those were the words I wanted to say on the phone.”
With lyrics such as “Miles and miles of empty space in between us/ A telephone can't take the place of your smile,” the song served as a ballad about a touring musician missing his lover but was still relatable to lovelorn listeners.
Sayer said a song like ’When I Need You’ doesn’t ‘come along every day’Amid the success of “When I Need You,” Sayer said he was still looking for more. In a 1980s interview with Dennis Hunt, he said he was still “very ambitious” despite knowing he could live off the success of his hit songs.
“I’m working with a new producer now in England, the same guy who produces Sheena Easton, another British act,” Sayer said. “And he's wonderful at finding songs because material is the great thing that's a song like ‘When I Need You,’ which I had, you know, I mean doesn't come along every day. And you have to find those songs, that's the crux of it.”

Sayer, now 77, never had another No. 1 hit after “When I Need You.” But in recent years, he has marveled over the song’s lasting popularity all over the world.
In a 2022 interview with Crow’s Feat, Sayer talked about all of the places he has traveled to perform his hits. “My music has been very lucky for me because it’s taken me all over the world,” he said. “I go to China. I’ve been there quite regularly because ‘More Than I Can Say’ is massive over there. Apparently, ‘When I Need You’ is massive in Nepal. …I’ve been very, very lucky because that’s how the music travels.”
He also posted a throwback performance of “When I Need You” in a 2023 Facebook post. “#ThrowbackThursday to me performing "When I Need You", which was also released in February 1977. Almost 50 years later, and this is still such a classic,” Sayer wrote in February 2023.
