Like Garner, Miller has been married before. He walked down the aisle with violinist Caroline Campbell in 2005 before filing for divorce in 2011, reconciling in 2012 and then filing again in 2014. Their divorce was finalized in 2018—the same year as Garner and Affleck’s divorce.

During their time apart, a source reported, “He was ready for marriage and she just couldn’t commit. They parted on very amicable terms.”

In an interesting twist, the separation news came out after Garner was seen spending a day at the beach with her former Alias co-star Bradley Cooper. However, nothing romantic came of that, at least that we know of. By August 2021, a reunited Garner and Miller were photographed together in New York City.

Things between Garner and Miller seem to be holding steady, with Us Weekly reporting in April 2025 that Miller was living "part-time" at Garner's house while looking for his own permanent residence in the L.A. area after the wildfires earlier in the year.

However, reports in June 2026 indicate that there may still be tensions between Miller and Garner, especially concerning the co-parenting relationship that the actress maintains with Affleck. "[Miller]'s trying to deal with Ben and Jen's relationship by mostly staying quiet," an insider reportedly stated.

Are Jennifer Garner and John Miller getting married?

As of this writing, there are no reports that Jennifer Garner and John Miller are planning to get married. But that doesn't mean marriage isn't in their future. A source told Us Weekly, “Jennifer adores John and still sees a long-term future with him. There’s no desire on her part to slow things down, spend less time together or anything like that. She’s just decided after a lot of thought that she’s just not in a hurry to rush down the aisle just yet and that she feels perfectly happy cherishing and enjoying what they have—for now—without a formal label.”

Shortly after the split, Garner began a relationship with Alias co-star Michael Vartan, leading to rumors the relationship had ended her marriage.

Foley has denied this version of events, telling TV Guide, “Nobody else was involved. Jennifer became a huge celebrity. She became a huge star, and she deserved everything she got. There was no other relationship, there was no infidelity, nothing. People get divorced, you know? Through no one’s fault and everyone’s fault.”

While the former couple does not keep in touch, it does appear they remain cordial. Foley revealed in 2021 that they run into each other every so often. “You have to say hello. You’re very civil. I mean, we do not keep in contact because she has her own family. I have mine … But I’ve seen her a few times—especially when we were living in L.A.—and [my wife] Marika has been with me. You know, everybody says hi and you’re cordial and you move on. That’s life, right?”

Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan starred in the hit ABC series Alias together from 2001 until 2006. As their characters entered into a will-they-won’t-they relationship onscreen, their chemistry was building behind the scenes as well. The two began dating in 2003, following Garner’s separation from her first husband, Scott Foley, but the relationship was short-lived, and the pair split in 2004. Garner married her second husband, Ben Affleck, the next year.

Garner and Affleck separated in 2015, with their divorce being finalized in 2018. Vartan had tied the knot himself with Lauren Skaar in 2011, but his wife filed for divorce three years later in 2014.

Following both of their respective divorces, Vartan was asked in 2018 if he would ever consider rekindling things with his former flame. “Oh my God,” he responded. "I don't think so. If it didn't work once, there's a reason it didn't work."

Jennifer Garner was, in fact, pregnant during the time she was on Alias, with her daughter Violet, who she shares with former husband Ben Affleck. Garner’s real-life first pregnancy was written into the show’s fifth-season storyline, with her character becoming pregnant onscreen as well.

The series then went on hiatus between December 2005 and April 2006 to accommodate its leading lady, especially given the physical demands of her role in the spy series.

Lots of rumors have swirled around Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s breakup. At the time of the separation, it was rumored to be due to Affleck stepping out on his wife with the couple’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian. However, both Garner and Affleck have denied there was any overlap between the two relationships.

Garner told Vanity Fair in 2016, “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.”

In 2021, Affleck opened up about the breakup on The Howard Stern Show, “The truth was, we took our time, we made a decision, we grew apart. We had a marriage that did not work. This happens. Since 2004, Julie Chen Moonves has been married to Leslie “Les” Moonves, an American media executive who is best known as the former chairman and CEO of CBS Corporation, which he led from 2006 until his resignation in September 2018. (More on that in a minute!) 

The couple met in the 1990s while Chen Moonves was working at CBS as a newsreader for the network’s The Early Show (she’d later go on to host CBS reality series Big Brother and The Talk). It was reportedly years later, when Moonves was estranged from his wife, Nancy Wieselfeld, that Chen Moonves and Moonves began their romantic relationship. 

Two weeks after his divorce was finalized from Wieselfeld, Moonves married Chen Moonves in a private ceremony in Acapulco, Mexico, in December 2004, a move that not only proved to be a hot topic among gossip magazines but also throughout the CBS offices. "It probably hasn't helped her to be married to me in terms of that," Moonves told BuzzFeed News.

“It was an area I was learning how to navigate the first four years—not so much being married to ‘the head of the network,’ because when we were alone together, it was always just about us—but it was me learning to navigate my spot in the workplace because I had already spent a good chunk of time working with my co-workers and then the day we got married, I saw certain people treat me differently,” Chen Moonves also told that outlet.

“I will never forget the small handful of people who treated me exactly the same, good or bad. Those people will always have a special spot in my memory bank because they didn't care who I was married to. I'm their co-worker first, you know?”

Born Jan. 6, 1970, Queens native Julie Chen Moonves is currently 56 years old, which makes her quite a bit younger than her 76-year-old hubby Les Moonves, who was born two decades earlier—on Oct. 6, 1949, to be exact—over in Brooklyn, New York.

Julie Chen Moonves and Les Moonves welcomed their son, Charlie, in September 2009. Nine years later, Chen Moonves authored her first children's book, When I Grow Up, and dedicated it to Charlie.

What was Les Moonves accused of?

A July 2018 New Yorker expose by Ronan Farrow shed light on allegations made against then-CBS CEO Les Moonves, with several women accusing him of sexual harassment, unwanted touching and kissing, and intimidation in the workplace. 

Several months later, after the board of CBS Corporation appointed outside counsel to lead an independent investigation into the claims, Moonves stepped down from his position at the network in September 2018 without any exit compensation. Along with appointing a new board of directors, CBS also pledged to donate $20 million to organizations that support the #MeToo movement, pulled from severance payments owed to Moonves.

The sexual misconduct scandal also affected his wife’s career, with Julie Chen Moonves leaving her own host post at The Talk in September 2018, announcing that she needed "to spend more time at home with [her] husband" after the sexual assault allegations came to light. 

Though she called herself “collateral damage” following her husband’s ousting at the network, per her 2023 audiobook But First, God: An Audio Memoir of Spiritual Discovery, Chen Moonves did publicly stand by her spouse throughout the scandal.

“I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late ’90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years. Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader,” she posted to Twitter. “He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being,” she continued. “I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement.”

She also notably added her married name to her nightly sign-off on Big Brother: "I'm Julie Chen Moonves, goodnight."

After his firing from CBS, Moonves founded his own company in West Hollywood, Calif., named Moon Rise Unlimited.

It's fairly common practice for movie stars to hang on to a particular prop that holds special meaning for them, whether it's an item closely tied to their on-screen character or an object that holds emotional weight to the film in question.

With that being said, it should hardly come as a surprise that Dwayne Johnson chose to hang on to the dice used by Robin Williams in the original Jumanji during the filming of the franchise's next installment, Jumanji: Open World.

In a recent interview with People, the 54-year-old Moana actor admitted to swiping the dice from the set of the latest entry in the series, which appear in the film hanging around Johnson's neck.

“The last prop that I took from set was the dice that I wore in Jumanji 3,” Johnson said.

“That is one half of a pair of dice that they used in the original, OG Jumanji,” the actor continued, referring to the dice's appearance in the film as his ode to the late great Williams, who died in 2014.

“There’s a big scene where the dice are slow rolling, and it’s slow motion and it’s so dramatic. One half of those dice — Die? Dice? — my character wears in the film,” Johnson explained.

“And I took that home,” he continued, laughing. “Props, they’re always amazing, but you gotta give that s**t back.”

Naturally, the crew members and props department for Jumanji: Open World asked Johnson to return the prop to set, only for the actor to demur and find a way to hang on to the dice.

“They were like, ‘Hey DJ, do you have the…?’ And I was like, ‘Nah, I gave it — I don’t — ah, I got to go,’” Johnson continued.

The third entry in the rebooted Jumanji franchise arrives in theaters nationwide on December 25, 2026.

While Robert Irwin was never a Dancing with the Stars pro himself, he says he learned from the best, as he gears up to host DWTSspin-off show, The Next Pro.

"I feel like I can be in some way a bit of a mentor," he said on Good Morning America on Wednesday. "I'm obviously not the best dancer, but I had the best partner. I had Witney Carson, the most incredible pro, just a truly amazing human being."

"So I know what it is to have a great pro partner," he added. "So I can say to these hopefuls, 'Hey, this is what it takes,' right?"

Irwin, who will take the helm as host next week for the show's premiere on Monday, also noted that the perfect pro is also "a teacher [and] a therapist sometimes."

"And that's what we're looking for," he said. "So, it ain't going to be easy."

Throughout the most recent season of DWTS, where Irwin was a fan-favorite and ultimately won, the bond between the 22-year-old and Carson was cemented as the two continued to advance. The pro even took her family to Australia Zoo to visit Irwin long after show was over.

Irwin also reflected his journey that led to his hosting gig. Originally known for following in the footsteps of his late dad Steve Irwin, and continuing his conservation work, he shared that thanks to his DWTS platform, he's now able to share "this sense of passion and positivity."

"It's such a privilege. I grew up hosting shows, but it was wildlife documentaries," he said. "I never thought dancing would be a way to represent my message. Because that is what is core to me; I'm a conservationist, I'm an environmental advocate, but I also want to spread this sense of passion and positivity, which I could do on Dancing with the Stars."

However, he's a bit relieved this time around noting that, "going from contestant to host ... I'm not getting judged, so that's great."

Who Does Harlow Jane Play in The Five-Star Weekend?

 Jane nabbed a doozie of a role in Weekend, in which she plays Caroline Shaw, a student and the daughter of a famous food blogger named Hollis Shaw. Hollis, by the way, is played by Jennifer Garner.

While Jane may come from one of Hollywood's most notorious families, she previously shared that she had no interest in dipping her toes into acting.

“I didn't really understand what [the industry] was,” she told PEOPLE last month. “I just knew my parents did it. So I didn't want to do it. I was like, ‘Lame.’ ”

However, she soon came to be passionate about pursuing an acting career, and hit up five auditions a week for three years.

The Cast of The Five-Star Weekend Rocked Nantucket

Back in October, the cast of The Five-Star Weekend made it clear they had the time of their lives on the Nantucket set of the film. Garner and her costars Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, Gemma Chan, and D’Arcy Carden headed to the Gaslight in Downtown Nantucket for a little karaoke, and were joined by local Nantucket Ghost Walk guide Bill Jamieson onstage as they performed a rousing rendition of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen,” according to the Nantucket Current.

Joe Minella, who runs the Gaslight’s karaoke night, told the Current how Garner and her squad of lovely costars came to take the stage.

“Bill had no idea who he was singing with, he just thought it was some ladies that wanted to sing with him,” Minella told the publication. “What happened was Bill had signed up to sing Dancing Queen, which he does often. And then another lady came up and wanted to sign up to sing Dancing Queen, and she was like ‘we wanna go quickly, and just so you know, I’m with Jennifer Garner.’ And I told her that they could sing Dancing Queen if they wanted to, but Bill had already signed up for it, so they had to sing it with him. So then they all sang it together.”

They made it work! Fashion competition shows are now everywhere—see Netflix’s Next in Fashion, Max’s The Hype and more—but there was one series that started it all: Project Runway. Originally hosted by Heidi Klum, the show became a slow-burn hit, spawning early memes ("what happened to Andrae?") and catchphrases ("one day you're in, the next day you're out").

The show has since undergone a few overhauls, moving from Bravo to Lifetime and then back to Bravo again, with Klum and mentor Tim Gunn leaving the franchise in 2018 and co-creating their own show, Making the Cut, for Prime Video. Project Runway once again left Bravo in 2025 for the Disney-owned Freeform network, where it has stayed since. Producer Dan Cutforth said that the move would evolve the competition "for a new generation."

Jay McCarroll took home the prize in the show’s inaugural season, famously winning the whole shebang without winning any of the individual challenges. McCarroll continued working as a fashion designer after his 2005 victory, showing a collection at New York Fashion Week in 2006. In 2010, he competed on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit Club, losing a total of 40 pounds. More recently, McCarroll has been working in film and TV, landing gigs in the costume department on shows including Mare of Easttown and Orange Is the New Black.

After winning Season 2 of Project Runway in 2006, Chloe Dao returned to her hometown of Houston, where she still runs a boutique called Chloe Dao that sells clothing of her own design. In 2013, she became a judge and executive producer on Project Runway Vietnam, one of the show’s many international editions. In 2020, Dao pivoted to mask-making at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, donating thousands of masks to hospitals and local medical professionals. Today, she's fairly active on Instagram if you want to follow her fashion endeavors!

Jeffrey Sebelia (Season 3)

Jeffrey Sebelia was arguably the first "villain" of Project Runway, but his clothes were so good that the judges let it slide. After the show, he went on to design for his own label, Cosa Nostra, which closed in 2009. He then became the designer of a brand called Fluxus and later launched a children’s line named La Miniatura. In 2013, he competed on Season 3 of Project Runway All Stars, finishing in seventh place. It’s not clear whether Sebelia currently has any design projects in the works or what, exactly, he's up to today.

Christian Siriano is far and away the most successful champion in Project Runway history. After winning Season 4 in 2008, he founded his namesake fashion label, Christian Siriano, and collaborated with brands including Payless, Victoria’s Secret and Puma. In 2013, he was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and to date is still the only Project Runway winner in the organization. Siriano has become a favorite for celebrities in need of dramatic red carpet looks, having designed outfits for Billy Porter, Christina Hendricks, Melissa McCarthy, Whoopi Goldberg, Michelle Obama and more. 

In 2020, he and his team pivoted in a less glamorous—but important—direction, sewing thousands of cloth surgical masks for New York City medical workers in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. Siriano has been a mentor on Project Runway since Season 17, which premiered in 2019.

Following her Project Runway victory in 2008, Leanne Marshall established herself as a successful wedding dress designer. In May 2022, she decided to leave the bridal industry behind and pivot her namesake line toward more casual ready-to-wear dresses (though she still offers evening gowns in numerous dramatic silhouettes). Like Siriano, Marshall has dressed tons of celebrities, including Solange, Ariana Madix, Julianne Hough and Ariana Grande.

Since winning Season 6 in 2009, Irina Shabayeva has continued her career as a fashion designer, crafting couture bridal gowns and evening wear. In 2013, she finished in sixth place on All Stars Season 3. Shabayeva returned to the franchise in 2019, coming in third place on All Stars Season 7 (which exclusively featured winners from the franchise’s flagship series). She has also dressed plenty of stars, including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Maye Musk. In 2012, Carrie Underwood wore one of Shabayeva’s designs on the cover of her album Blown Away. Shabayeva seems to be really into photography, too!

Seth Aaron Henderson (Season 7) View this post on Instagram

Seth Aaron Henderson is the first Project Runway champion to win the competition twice. After taking home the prize for the first time in 2010, he won All Stars Season 3 in 2014. He later returned again for All Stars Season 7 but finished in second-to-last place. Henderson has continued working as a designer, selling clothes under his own label, Seth Aaron. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as a designer for the brand Fin Fun, which produces swimmable mermaid tails for kids and adults.

Gretchen Jones (Season 8) Gretchen Jones

Some Project Runway viewers consider Gretchen Jones’ win to be one of the most controversial moments in the show’s history, given her victory over fan favorite Mondo Guerra, whose finale collection was beloved by Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum and guest judge Jessica Simpson. Jones continued working as a designer for a few years after her 2010 victory, but she has since pivoted to consulting, working with brands including Converse, REI and Pendleton. In 2018, she founded her own firm called Weird Specialty, which offers a holistic approach to business coaching.

Anya Ayoung-Chee (Season 9) View this post on Instagram

After winning Season 9 in 2011, Anya Ayoung-Chee founded her own line called Pilar, named in honor of her late brother. That line is now defunct, but she still designs clothing under her own name, which she sells via her website. In 2014, she starred as a mentor in the first and only season of Tim Gunn’s series Under the Gunn. Five years later, she competed on Season 7 of All Stars, finishing in 10th place.

Dmitry Sholokhov became the second double winner of Project Runway, taking the Season 10 crown in 2012 and the All Stars Season 4 victory in 2015. He has continued working on his namesake label, Dmitry Sholokhov, which specializes in “affordable high fashion.” In 2019, he competed in Season 7 of All Stars, finishing in second place.

After winning Season 11 in 2013, Michelle Lesniak Franklin returned to her hometown of Portland, Oregon, where she continued designing clothes. Her online boutique is seemingly no longer in business, but as recently as 2019, she was showing her designs on the runway. That same year, she won Season 7 of All Stars.

Dom Streater took home the top prize on Season 12 in 2013. She went on to present a collection at New York Fashion Week before becoming a designer for Urban Outfitters. She later founded her own line of ready-to-wear dresses, T-shirts and accessories, and in 2016, she won Season 5 of All Stars.

After his 2013 victory, Sean Kelly continued his career in fashion, founding a men’s swimwear brand called Hercules. He is also the design director for Retrofête, a New York City boutique that specializes in sequined party dresses and bedazzled accessories. He finished in seventh place on Season 7 of All Stars.

Following her Project Runway win in 2015, Ashley Nell Tipton became a designer for JCPenney’s plus-size boutique and founded her own namesake line. In 2022, she became a professor of fashion design at Palomar College in California. She appeared in the 2024 film Empire Waist, a movie she said mirrors her own journey as a plus-size fashion designer.

Roberts still designs and sells clothes through her An-Erin label.

Since winning Season 17 in 2019, Jhoan "Sebastian" Grey has continued designing, with a focus on using recycled and upcycled materials in his work. In April 2023, he showed his designs at the Young at Art Museum’s 16th Annual Recycled Fashion Show in Florida. In early 2024, he launched a collection with HSN, formerly known as the Home Shopping Network.

After finishing in fourth place on Season 17 of Project Runway, Bishme Cromartie returned for the show's 20th season, which featured an All Stars format competition, and was ultimately crowned the winner. It was a bittersweet achievement, as Cromartie was grieving the recent death of his older sister, Chimere Faye Didley, who had been battling cancer. Less than a week after his win, Cromartie unveiled a collection at New York Fashion Week and presented at the event again in early 2024. He designs and sells clothes through his website.

Veejay Floresca (Season 21)

Veejay Floresca made history as the first transgender woman to take home the series title. Since her victory in the fall of 2025, she has leveraged the momentum of her win to advance her career, notably showcasing a new collection during New York Fashion Week in early 2026. Beyond her runway success, Floresca has garnered widespread recognition for her historic achievement and continues to develop her namesake brand while utilizing the mentorship and resources provided by her prize package.

The Walt Disney Archives recently shared early concept art from a Disneyland pitch book depicting what Main Street U.S.A. would one day look like: a colorful row of Gingerbread Victorian, Second Empire and Gothic Revival structures, including an arcade, an ice cream parlor, a hotel, a meat market, the Disney Emporium and the future Crystal Palace. These drawings capture the classic Americana that is a key piece of the charm and hospitality Disneyland has offered visitors since 1955.

The drawings also offer a glimpse into Walt Disney’s own past. Main Street U.S.A. is directly patterned on Disney’s Midwestern childhood in Marceline, Missouri. This 19th-century whistle-stop town sprang up in the 1880s on the Chicago-Kansas City Route of the Santa Fe Railway. The Disney family followed the same trajectory. Walt was born in Chicago and spent his early boyhood in Marceline before his parents moved their sons to Kansas City, where his father worked as a newspaper distributor for the Kansas City Star.

The five years Disney lived in Marceline were some of the most impressionable of his life, and shaped more than just his later vision for his theme park. In 1938, Walt Disney shared some of his childhood recollections of the town for The Marceline News, writing, “To tell the truth, more things of importance happened to me in Marceline than have happened since—or are likely to in the future.”

Much of what he describes to TheMarceline News is the stuff of Victorian childhood idealized in other nostalgic media like Lucy Maud Montgomery’s 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables or the 1944 Judy Garland classic Meet Me In St. Louis. Disney recalled “experiencing my first country life, seeing my first circus parade, attending my first school, seeing my first motion picture! I know you’ll agree with me that such childhood ‘firsts’ as those are of utmost importance in any human being’s life.”

If you want to experience the magic of Marceline for yourself, the town takes pride in its place in Walt Disney history. The Disney Family Farmhas been carefully maintained on the north end of town, and although the farmhouse itself is currently a private residence, guests are welcome to visit the barn and Disney’s Dreaming Tree during daylight hours. Less than half a mile away is Hotel Marceline, which was renovated in 2020 with decor sourced from Walt Disney World Resorts, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort and the POP Century Resort in Orlando.

You can still visit Ripley Square, where Disney enjoyed watching the Santa Fe Railroad trains as a boy. He was deeply inspired by the role of trains in his own life and that of the town after arriving in Marceline by rail from Chicago. Trains were sources of inspiration in several early Disney cartoons, including Alice’s Tin Pony (1925), Mickey’s Cho-Choo (1929), as well as the train Casey Jr. in Dumbo (1941). Vintage trains are still on display at Ripley Square today, including a Santa Fe engine and caboose, as well as a gorgeous 1911 steam locomotive that was donated to the town in 1955.

Kitty-corner from the Square is the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, established in 2001 on what would have been Walt Disney’s 100th birthday. Its collection began as the personal memorabilia of Walt’s sister Ruth, and includes some of Disney’s own letters, photographs, original artwork, and more. The museum even features some of the original cars used in the Midget Autopia attraction at Fantasyland. The ride closed at Disneyland in 1966 and was replaced by the It’s a Small World attraction, but Disney relocated the Autopia to Marceline. The town operated Midget Autopia until 1977.

Just southwest of Ripley Park is the former Allen Hotel, which opened the year the Disneys moved to Marceline and likely inspired the Hotel Marceline at Disney World. The real-life Allen closed as a hotel in 1968 and today serves as home to the Linn County Leader and Ma Vic's Corner Cafe, which serves up small-town classics like biscuits and gravy, hamburgers and patty melts, steak and fries, corn nuggets, and homemade pies. Try the Dusty Miller, Marcline’s signature dish. This unique sundae layers vanilla ice cream, marshmallow and chocolate syrups, and a dusting of malted milk.

Turn down Ritchie Avenue to see the Coca-Cola wall, a mural advertisement painted in 1905 on the Zurcher Building, which housed a jewelry and watch store during the years Disney grew up here. The mural is thought to have inspired the Coca-Cola Refreshment Corner that was an original feature on Main Street in Disneyland. From the Coca-Cola wall, stroll up and down North Kansas Avenue, which was officially renamed Main Street U.S.A. in 1998.

At the corner of Howell and Main Street is the former Uptown Theater. Opened in 1930, this isn’t the same silver screen where Disney saw his first feature flicks, but it is where Disney held the Midwest premiere of The Great Locomotive Chase, and later the 1998 world premiere of The Spirit of Mickey.

On the southwest end of Main Street is the Walt Disney Municipal Park, which features facilities for disc golf, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, softball, a playground, a skate park, and rentable picnic pavilions. Both Walt and Roy Disney returned to Marceline in 1956 to dedicate the park and municipal swimming pool. 

On that visit, Disney also stopped by his old desk at the former Park School, the “big red brick school house” that sat at Ritchie and Chestnut. It was torn down in 1960 after a fire made the structure unsafe, but was replaced by the Walt Disney Elementary School, which features artwork by Disney artist Bob Moore. Disney also donated a flagpole from the 1960 Winter Olympics and a special Mickey flag that is on display at the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. 

You're free to explore Marceline at your own pace, of course. It's an easy drive from Kansas City as well as St. Louis. Passenger service to Marceline ended in 1997, ending the town’s long history as a railroad town. However, Amtrak’s Southwest Chief still stops in the region at La Plata, MO, and Fort Madison, IA. 

Disney also recently released tickets for a special Marceline Magic experience in September 2026 hosted by Disney performer Bill Farmer, who you might know as the voice of Goofy for the last forty years. Participants will have a chance to explore 25 historic stops in Marceline from the next town over via Chillicothe Trolley Tours, with fun activities like a Pan Cake Race down Marceline’s Main Street and a fireworks show at Disney’s childhood home.

I recently had a chance to try the original version of this product (and the lighter-weight version as well), gifted by the company. My honest review of The Comfy is that its name is not misleading in the slightest.

I'm a certified cozy girl—fall is my favorite season, and I love wearing sweaters and sweatshirts. I have a constant rotation of blankets to cuddle with on the couch, and even my friends have started claiming which blanket is "theirs." So a wearable sweatshirt/blanket combo really is a product designed for me. Thankfully, I keep my house frigid year-round, so even the summer heat wasn't going to stop me from trying this item out.

Brian and Michael Speciale, the brothers behind The Comfy, originally showcased the product to the Sharks in 2017. As detailed on their website, they were determined to bring their product to the masses.

"We're just a couple of brothers from the desert who had a crazy idea. The only difference between us and so many others who have great ideas is that we did something about it. We took action. We didn’t take no for an answer," the brothers wrote in the "About Us" section.

After securing a deal with Barbara Corcoran on the show, the company has only continued to grow over the last nearly decade. They sell a whole range of cozy products now, in addition to the signature Original Comfy. If you watched that episode of Shark Tank or you've seen the product around online, you may be wondering if it's worth the hype. And that's what I was determined to find out, too.

What Is Special About The Comfy?

As Robert Herjavec noted during the initial pitch, The Comfy wasn't exactly a groundbreaking product—after all, the Snuggie was a blanket with sleeves years before The Comfy hit the market. But Herjavec added, "Sometimes it's OK to be number two or three in a really big market."

The Comfy's endurance in that market speaks for itself. The original product (and its successors) are designed to bring effortless cozy comfort to kids and adults alike. And the company also gives back to help others, with a portion of proceeds set aside for the Comfy Cares program. It has seen 150,000 items donated to "those in need, frontline workers and the homeless," according to the website.

What Happened to The Comfy After ‘Shark Tank’?

While on the show, the Speciale brothers were seeking a $50,000 investment in return for a 20% stake in the business. The deal they ended up accepting from Corcoran was $50,000 for a 30% stake.

Per CNBC, the company made $1 million in sales within five weeks of being on Shark Tank, and generated $15 million in sales in a year. In a 2023 appearance on "The Daniel Mac Show," Corcoran called The Comfy one of her most valuable investments from Shark Tank.

“They made me $468 million in three years,” Corcoran said, per CNBC.

What Can You Order From The Comfy?

The Original Comfy—aka the blanket sweatshirt—is still available on the company's website for $50. But you can also get a lightweight version ($45), a zipper version ($60), a full-length version ($60), a kids' version ($43), pants ($40), slippers ($25) and more. All of which are designed to keep you warm while lounging, working or doing household activities.

You can shop right on The Comfy's website or on Amazon, and The Comfy also has retail partnerships with brands like Target, Walmart and Nordstrom Rack.

I Tried The Comfy—Here’s My Honest Review

After weeks of testing The Comfy, here are my biggest takeaways and honest thoughts about the wearable blanket.

It's definitely warm

The Original Comfy has a thick sherpa lining and a soft microfiber exterior. Because I keep my house pretty cold, it was the perfect layer of warmth for me, though I definitely can't wear it outside right now in the summer heat.

It's designed to be one-size-fits-all, so it fit me very oversized

I'm only 5'2", so the one-size-fits-all nature of the hoodie means it's pretty long and big on me. I don't mind that, but I was grateful that the sleeves have ribbed cuffs that cinch at the wrist; they would be way too long on me otherwise. I did like that it was oversized enough to wear even over a sweatshirt, because that would make it super easy to toss on over my regular clothes to walk my dog in colder weather.

I liked that my hands stayed free

The wearable blanket aspect really wins when it comes to doing chores in The Comfy. I get the appeal while lounging, but a regular blanket can do the same thing for me on the couch. However, The Comfy helped me stay cozy while working, washing the dishes and more.

The pocket is a nice touch

The jumbo front pocket was large enough for my iPad, and it was also perfect for carrying my phone, snacks and more.

The hood lets me disappear into the cozy vibe

I used the hood while working, and it kind of gave me my own private cocoon within which I could focus. I didn't even have to take my claw clip out; the hood was big enough to fit over it.

It's easy to care for

The washing instructions for The Comfy say to machine wash in cold water and tumble dry on low. I hate items that require hand washing or hang-drying, so this was a big win for me. I washed The Comfy on those settings, and it was just as soft afterwards. The sherpa material held up well in the dryer, and the sweatshirt is reversible (but you lose the pocket on the sherpa side).

The brand even has a warm-weather option

I imagine my Comfy will get even more use in the colder months, but I was excited that the company gifted me a warm-weather-friendly version as well: The Dream.

The single-layer hoodie is designed to deliver lightweight, breathable coverage, and it was much more suited for the summer day I was testing these on. I put them on immediately after taking a long walk outside, and The Dream was a little less suffocating immediately after being in the sun.

My recommendation is picking up The Comfy and The Dream and rotating them out with the weather changes. That way you can always be the perfect level of cozy, warmth no matter the season.

You can whip up a lasagna using entirely vegan options, and you can find several spreadable versions to smear over bagels or crackers. There's even vegan feta.

Because my family's relationship with dairy doesn't seem to be getting any better, I decided to test out some of the most popular vegan cheeses out there. While some were unimpressive, I was shocked at how good others were. Even my chef-husband started using some of the options without realizing they were dairy-free. Here's what I learned in my quest to find the best vegan cheeses.

What To Look for When Shopping for Vegan Cheeses

Vegan cheeses can be a helpful tool for people who can't tolerate dairy, but there are a few things to consider. "Not all vegan cheeses are created equal, so it’s worth taking a quick look at the nutrition facts and ingredient list," Jessica Cording, RD, author of The Little Book of Game-Changers, tells Parade. "I recommend choosing options made with ingredients like nuts, soy or legumes that provide some protein."

Calcium fortification is a "bonus," especially if you don’t eat dairy, Cording says. And, if you’re watching your saturated fat intake, she suggests keeping in mind that some varieties made with coconut oil can be higher in this ingredient than people expect.

"That said, if vegan cheese is just an occasional item, it matters less than if it’s something you’ll eat very regularly," she explains.

How I Tested the Vegan Cheeses

There's a surprisingly wide variety of vegan cheeses out there, which can get overwhelming fast. To help me narrow down the field, I read vegan message boards and comments from vegan cheese fans to see which brands and types consistently came up. From there, I hunted down the most popular options.

Each vegan cheese was tested in a round together, and then separately. I also used the cheeses as they were intended, so sliced cheeses went in sandwiches and wraps, while shredded cheeses were melted into different dishes.

Because I have a dairy-intolerance child, I recruited him to see what he thought of these cheeses, too. Overall, I can confidently say that there's a lot to work with when it comes to vegan cheeses. But some stood out as being better—sometimes way better—than others. Here's what I learned.

There were no vegan cheeses that were gross or inedible during testing. But, like "regular" cheese, some vegan cheeses are better than others—and some were straight-up delicious.

18. Daiya Mozzarella Shreds

Daiya gets props for the realistic look and feel of its Mozzarella shreds. Made with the brand's special oat cream blend, the mozzarella melts easily and blends well into other dishes. But it doesn't taste like mozzarella on its own, and it has a noticeable scent that doesn't smell like cheese.

17. Daiya Mexican Blend Shreds

Daiya's Mexican Blend Shreds are also made with the brand's oat cream. The shreds look like regular cheese and melt well. They also don't stick together in the package. But they don't have much of a flavor at all. These shreds work well in dishes, like quesadillas and tacos. But they're not tasty when you eat them on their own.

16. Violife Just Like Colby Jack Shreds

While Violife compares these to Colby Jack cheese, the shreds have a strong processed American cheese flavor. (They're made with coconut oil, along with potato and corn starches, which could be why.) However, they melt easily and can be gooey, making them a good choice for something like mac 'n cheese.

15. Good Planet Foods Cheddar Olive Oil Cheese Shreds

Good Planet's Cheddar Olive Oil Cheese Shreds don't have a strong cheddar flavor, but they're the tastiest of the shredded cheese bunch. These shreds tastes the closest to cheese as any of the shreds. These shreds melt quickly and easily, making them a good choice for quesadillas and toppings, like on omelettes.

14. Parmela Creamery Plant-Based Sharp Cheddar

If you like Kraft American Cheese, you'll dig Parmela Creamery's Plant-Based Sharp Cheddar. Made from cashew milk, it looks like real cheese and the slices separate easily from each other—a perk when you're using individual slices for sandwiches. The "aged cheddar" flavor claims seem like a stretch, but it's a solid choice for a mild cheese you can put on a sandwich.

13. Daiya Mozzarella Sticks

While Daiya's Mozzarella Sticks taste better than shreds, it still doesn't have a strong mozzarella flavor. These cheese sticks have unique taste, and are dense, but they still have a creamy consistency. The flavor grows on you over time, too.

12. Treeline Fresh-Style Cashew Cheese Herb Garlic

Treeline uses cashew milk in its French-Style Cashew Cheese Herb Garlic, giving this a creamy, spreadable consistency. It has a strong herby garlic taste that works well on things like sandwiches and wraps. It's also delicious when spread over crackers. But that herb garlic flavor is a little polarizing, and it may be too much for some.

11. Chao Creamery Creamy Original Slices

Want something for grilled cheese and other sandwiches? The Chao Creamery Creamy Original Slices are the perfect substitute for American cheese. It melts well and has an airy texture, too. The slices pull apart nicely, allowing you to truly have one slice at a time.

10. Babybel Plant-Based Snack Original

We keep regular Babybels in my house, which made me naturally curious about the plant-based version. If you like Babybels, be prepared for a different look and feel. This cheese has a slight greenish color and a strong nutty flavor. Like regular Babybels, these little cheeses come in their own wax casing. It just doesn't taste like standard Babybel cheese.

9. Kite Hill Dairy-Free Plain Cream Cheese

Kite Hill's Plain Cream Cheese is spreadable and glides on easily. It's definitely a spread, but it has a tofu-like look at first. It also forms water on top (you can either dump it out or stir it in). This doesn't taste like regular cream cheese, per se—it has a sweeter flavor—but it's still tasty.

8. Good Planet Foods Pepper Jack Plant-Based Cheese Wedges

Good Planet Foods Pepper Jack Plant-Based Cheese Wedges are thin slices you can easily layer on top of crackers. It has a spiciness that kicks in after a few seconds that's fun, although you wouldn't confuse this with standard pepper jack in a blind taste test. It definitely has a nutty flavor that's not very cheesy, but the overall taste is great.

7. Violife Just Like Shaved Parmesan

You'll initially taste potato when you bite into Violife Just Like Shaved Parmesan, but the aftertaste is Parmesan. The more you eat, the more Parmesan flavor you'll get. The shreds are nice and thick, making them great for tossing into salads and soups. I would just recommend having this with other foods, not on its own.

6. Kite Hill Ricotta Alternative Made with Almond Milk

Yup, plant-based ricotta exists. The Kite Hill Ricotta Alternative Made with Almond Milk actually tastes like ricotta with a nutty aftertaste. Mixed into lasagna, you can't tell that this is a plant-based cheese. The consistency is spot-on and easy to spread over layers of noodles.

5. Violife 100% Dairy Free Just Like Smoked Gouda Round Slices

The Violife 100% Dairy Free Just Like Smoked Gouda Round Slices have a deliciously smoky flavor that's all gouda. This is a very savory and smoky cheese that tastes like the real thing. The slices pull apart easily, allowing you to pick out just one when you need it. This slice melts easily, too.

4. Boursin Dairy Free Garlic and Herbs

Boursin is known for its creamy spreads, and the brand's Dairy Free Garlic and Herbs is no exception. This spread has a strong garlic flavor and is so good, you'll want to keep eating it. The taste is almost like hummus, but it has cheesy undertones. It's excellent on nearly everything.

The Treeline Cheesemakers French-Style Cashew Cheese Caramelized Onion is an excellent spreadable cheese with an unforgettable flavor. The caramelized onion perfectly complements the cashew cheese, creating a slightly smoky taste. It's tasty on bread, crackers, eggs and more.

The Follow Your Heart Dairy Free Cheese Feta Style Crumbles tastes just like regular feta. In in a blind taste test, you'd struggle to tell the difference. The feta crumbles look like the real thing, too. My family has been using this in a range of dishes, including beet salad and omelettes.

Big Brother is an incredible test of the human spirit physically, mentally, and emotionally. But the houseguests endure the isolation, the cabin fever, the backstabbing, and the punishments for one reason: The chance to become the winner of the season. And across the 26 years the show has aired, we have seen a wide variety of players be the last one standing, walking out to confetti and a huge boost to their bank account.

Here are all the Big Brother winners, and what they are up to now.

Big Brother winnersEddie McGee (Season 1) Eddie McGee

Season 1 of Big Brother was an entirely different beast. Resembling the European version that the show was based on, America would evict houseguests every week by popular vote. Eddie was one of the more outspoken players of the season, one of the only people to talk about his desire to win the money. His initiative, and a heartwarming story about playing as an amputee, had Eddie winning 59% of the final audience vote to take home the first win.

In the years since his win, Eddie has stayed in entertainment. He's been acting since 2001, appearing in a variety of movies and TV shows. He's also dabbled in directing and producing briefly.

Will Kirby (Season 2) Will Kirby

Big Brother had a huge change in format for season 2. All evictions were done by the players themselves, with one person winning "Head of Household" every week and nominating two of their fellow houseguests for eviction. Will was one of the biggest characters of the season, a self-admitted "robot" who concocted a strategy of throwing challenges, breaking promises and making a target so big on himself it made him "invisible." And, despite losing his allies early on, Will's seeming lack of threat brought him to the endgame, where his manipulation tactics were praised by the jury.

Will returned for Big Brother All-Stars in season 7, where he made yet another impressive run before finishing in fourth place. Considered one of the show's greatest players, he has hosted the jury roundtable for the past ten years, moderating a discussion about that season's players. He also briefly "moved into" the house again as a "next-door neighbor" in 2020's version of Big Brother All-Stars. Will has also parlayed his reality TV time into multiple television appearances and journalistic opportunities, most recently as a bounty hunter in The Book of Boba Fett. While he still makes on-screen appearances, his primary career is serving as Chief Medical Officer at LaserAway, an aesthetic dermatology company.

Lisa Donahue (Season 3) Lisa Donahue

Big Brother 3 was largely the story of the secret duo in Danielle and Jason. But Lisa was also a constant force in the house, in good standing with everyone. She also showed she was capable of making her own big moves, like not voting her showmance Eric back into the house for fear of being targeted. Overall, her solid game, along with the jury's dislike of Danielle from her Diary Rooms, gave her the win.

Lisa was one of only two winners in the mix to return for Big Brother All-Stars, but she did not ultimately make the cast through popular vote or producer choice. She dabbled in acting after the show. Donahue also battled ovarian cancer and had a hysterectomy a few years back.

Jun Song (Season 4) Jun Song

Jun had to play with an additional wrinkle on Big Brother 4, having to live and compete alongside her ex-boyfriend Jee. In spite of that complication, Jun mastered a strategy of "floating" under the radar and hopping from alliance to alliance. Even though that did not earn her a positive reputation in the house, she was able to benefit from her even more negatively-received partner in Alison, giving Jun the win handily.

Several years after winning Big Brother, Jun left the country to live in Belgium, where she opened up a Korean restaurant.

Drew Daniel (Season 5) Drew Daniel

Drew started Big Brother 5 in power as part of the "Four Horsemen" men's alliance. After the group quickly fell apart, he abandoned it alongside Cowboy. He struck up a new bond with Diane that turned into a full-fledged showmance. At the Final Three, Drew made one of the most cutthroat decisions in the show's history when he cut Diane in favor of Cowboy. Despite the brutality of the move, Drew still won the season.

Like the winners that came before him, Drew dabbled in acting after appearing on Big Brother. In 2012, he was charged with domestic violence after supposedly attacking another man.

Maggie Ausburn (Season 6) Maggie Ausburn

Big Brother 6 is one of the show's most polarizing. The house was divided between the incredibly popular "Sovereign Six" and the villainized "Friendship" alliance. At the helm of the Friendship was Maggie. And despite getting in several tricky spots, she was able to make some key strategic plays to defeat the other alliance and have the Friendship prevail. And though her fellow finalist Ivette had made better bonds with the jurors, Maggie's persuasive tactics were commended (with some even comparing her to a cult leader) and she got a narrow win.

Like Drew, Maggie has largely gone off the radar of Big Brother fans following her win. Many attribute it to the unpopularity of her and the Friendship alliance as a whole.

Mike "Boogie" Malin (Season 7) Mike "Boogie" Malin

Big Brother's seventh season saw its first "all-star" edition. The house was packed with legends from seasons past, including Boogie and his closest ally Will. The two were able to reincarnate "Chilltown" in a new form. Together, the pair were able to run the season, aided by Boogie's showmance with Erika. Though Erika was able to get Janelle to cut Will at the Final Four, Boogie won his way to the finals, where his gameplay all season netted him a victory.

Boogie returned seven years later for Big Brother 14. Initially, he was a coach for the new houseguests, though he eventually became a full-fledged houseguest. He was eventually evicted in tenth place. Unfortunately, Boogie's relationship with Will ended on a low note. In August 2019, he was arrested for threatening Will and his family after Will denied an invitation to compete on The Amazing Race with Boogie. In 2021, he was found guilty of felony stalking and was sentenced to two years of probation.

"Evel" Dick Donato (Season 8) "Evel" Dick Donato

One of the biggest villains in the show's history, Dick competed on Big Brother 8 alongside his estranged daughter Daniele. An aggressive and outspoken force in the house, Dick's tactics involved outbursts and personal attacks as a means of intimidation. After being on the ropes in the middle of the game, the America's Player twist helped keep his and Daniele's hopes alive. From there, father and daughter fought against the rest of the house to make it to the end, where Dick's tactics, though controversial, got him the win.

Dick returned five years later alongside Daniele as one of six veterans for a "partners"-themed season. Unfortunately, he had to depart the game within the first week. It was later revealed after the season that this was because he had learned he was HIV-positive from a blood test the producers gave him. He currently hosts "Dick at Nite," a web show that covers ongoing seasons of Big Brother.

Adam Jasinski (Season 9) Adam Jasinski

The only civilian Big Brother season to air in the winter, season 9 was themed "'Til Death Do Us Part." Putting the houseguests into pairs of "soulmates," Adam was partnered up with Sheila, and the two served as the most contentious duo throughout the season. Despite that, Adam was able to survive as part of a majority alongside Sheila and his tight ally Ryan. In the end, his friendly nature had "A-Baller" winning the money handily over Ryan.

Adam has one of the wildest postseason stories to come from Big Brother in the show's history. He used his winnings to fund a drug ring and had also become a drug addict himself. Adam was arrested in 2009 by the DEA for the possession and distribution of oxycodone. He was sentenced to four years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute and tax evasion. After being released from jail in 2015, Adam has rehabilitated his life and currently provides guidance to those in sobriety and parents of those suffering from addiction.

Dan Gheesling (Season 10) Dan Gheesling

Though he was a Christian schoolteacher, Dan Gheesling's legendary game play on Big Brother 10 was far from saintly. After losing all of his allies early on, Dan helped flip the game on its head halfway through. He joined up in a secret alliance with Memphis, and the "Renegades" never looked back. Dan carved a path of deceit and big-brain moves all the way to the end, where he became the first unanimous winner in Big Brother history. Like Will, he is known as one of the best players of all time, and one of the show's most popular winners.

Four years later, Dan returned as a coach, then houseguest, on Big Brother 14. And despite the target on his back, he was somehow able to mount more impressive moves. The most infamous being the iconic "Dan's Funeral," where he came out of solitary confinement to hold his own Big Brother funeral, only to make backroom deals to instead save himself. Dan made it to the Final Two chairs yet again, only to lose out on a second win. Dan currently has a career in livestreaming across YouTube and Twitch. He also appeared on a recent season of Peacock's The Traitors.

Jordan Lloyd

Jordan Lloyd (Season 11)

Big Brother 11 initially divided the house into "cliques." Part of the popular crowd was Jordan, a bubbly blonde who soon found herself on the outs. But when her showmance Jeff won a cruical coup d'etat power, it turned the house upside down. Despite losing Jeff down the line, Jordan won some clutch competitions to sit at the end, where she handily defeated the more unlikable Natalie.

Jordan came back two seasons later for Big Brother 13 alongside Jeff. She once again outlasted him, making it all the way to the Final Four. The two would go on to compete on The Amazing Race, where they finished in seventh place on season 16. They got engaged in the Big Brother backyard in 2014 and got married in 2016. They have two children and currently have a podcast called "Togetherness."

Hayden Moss (Season 12) Hayden Moss

Hayden was a key part of one of the most dominant alliances in Big Brother history. He was one of the members of the secret "Brigade" quartet. They ran season 12 behind the scenes, meticulously picking apart the house while simultaneously not getting caught. He made it to the end with fellow Brigade member Lane, where his presence as the alliance figurehead and an impressive four HoH wins gave him a narrow win.

In 2013, Hayden became the first-ever Big Brother alum to play Survivor. He appeared on Survivor: Blood vs. Water alongside then-girlfriend (and Survivor alum) Kat Edorsson. Hayden made it all the way to the penultimate episode, most memorably convincing another player to force a tie and go to a random rock draw to protect himself. Hayden and Kat have since broken up.

Rachel Reilly (Season 13) Rachel Reilly

One of the biggest and most polarizing characters on Big Brother 12, Rachel walked into the house the very next season alongside her showmance with Brendon as part of the "pairs" twist. It was a difficult season for Rachel, as she had to contend with constant shots on the veterans' alliance, as well as losing Brendon twice. But a clutch twist and some impressive competition wins got Rachel to the Final Two. With an impressive resume--making her one of the show's greatest physical players--she walked away from her second season with a win, as well as some of the show's most iconic quotes ("Floaters, grab a life vest!")

Considered one of the show's biggest players, Rachel has appeared on a variety of Big Brother seasons in cameo roles since her win. She and Brendon continued their love that blossomed inside the house, marrying in 2012 and having two children. Rachel has also gone on to appear on three seasons of The Amazing Race (making the finals twice with Brendon), the first season of Peacock's The Traitors, and an episode of USA's Snake in the Grass. Rachel currently works in reality TV casting.

Ian Terry (Season 14) Ian Terry

Ian came into Big Brother 14 as a wide-eyed, albeit socially awkward, student of the game. Though he faltered initially socially, he was able to find his footing with the help of his coach, Boogie. Eventually, Ian came into his own, even making a move to cut Boogie. Despite being left on the backfoot as a result of "Dan's Funeral," Ian was able to win out to the end, impressively getting six competitions along the way. In the end, he controversially won over Dan, as the jury had admired his overall story and simultaneously keeping his hands clean compared to the season 10 winner.

Ian appeared in fits and starts on Big Brother over the couple of seasons following his win, even hosting the jury roundtable in season 3 of the Canadian version. He returned to the show as part of the second All-Stars edition in 2020, one of only two winners cast. On the show, he announced he was diagnosed with autism between seasons. Ian would go on to make it to eleventh place and become the first jury member. He also starred in a season of The Traitors.

Andy Herren (Season 15) Andy Herren

One of the show's most controversial seasons, Big Brother 15 made headlines for the racist statements being made by the houseguests. Its winner, luckily, had no involvement in the controversies. College professor Andy played a textbook "floater" game, a key factor in multiple alliances to the point that everyone was thrilled to see him win HoH. But he wasn't afraid to make key moves, cutting close allies at certain points, then masterfully covering it up to maintain relationships. Despite the betrayals, Andy's bonds with the jury prevailed, giving him the win.

Andy is the first openly gay houseguest to win a U.S. season of Big Brother. He currently lives in Chicago and has gained an online presence while following and commenting on the show.

Derrick Levasseur (Season 16) Derrick Levasseur

Big Brother 16 was the biggest season yet, with the "Battle of the Block" twist yielding two HoHs and four nominees per week. So it's incredibly impressive that Derrick made it all the way to the finale without ever hitting the block. The undercover cop was the mastermind of the season, puppeting several majority alliances and keeping a stranglehold on the house. He went to the Final Two with his fellow "Detonator" in Cody, who honored their alliance and paid for it dearly when Derrick won handily.

Considered one of the show's greatest players, Derrick has parlayed his history as a police officer into hosting several series on Investigation Discovery. He currently hosts the podcast "Crime Weekly" with YouTuber Stephanie Harlowe. Additionally, he hosts "The Winner's Circle" alongside Cody and season 23 standout Tiffany Mitchell, where they discuss the current season of the show and give exclusive interviews. He was on season 3 of The Traitors.

Steve Moses (Season 17) Steve Moses

A massive Big Brother fan, Steve spent the first half of season 17 under the radar, purposely playing himself up as a follower to the season's strategist, Vanessa. But, throughout his time in the house, Steve was lying in wait until the moment when he could strike at the poker player. He finally got that opportunity on finale night, crucially winning the final HoH and cutting Vanessa. Despite accusations from the jury of him "floating," he was able to defend his game as deliberate enough to get the win.

Though Steve still watches Big Brother, he has largely removed himself from social media since winning his season.

Nicole Franzel (Season 18) Nicole Franzel

After being done in by the majority two seasons ago, fan favorite Nicole came back on Big Brother 18. Despite being a returning player, she was able to play under the radar, avoiding nomination all the way to the Final Four. She and her showmance Corey navigated the middle between several factions during the jury phase, getting Nicole into one of the final two chairs. Her behind the scenes gameplay, persuasive tactics, and the jury's distaste of Paul's behavior towards them won her the game, making the first woman in Big Brother U.S. history to beat a man in the Final Two. She currently holds the record for most days played in the show's history.

Four years later, Nicole returned for Big Brother All-Stars. Despite being only one of two winners, Nicole was able to make it all the way to finale night once again. But, in the biggest blindside of the season, she was cut by Cody at the Final Three, devastating her. Following Big Brother 18, Nicole began to date fellow houseguest Victor. The two appeared on The Amazing Race together and got engaged in the house during season 20. The two currently live in Michigan with their son.

Josh Martinez (Season 19) Josh Martinez

Big Brother 19 is one of the show's most wildly negative seasons, as returning finalist Paul ran an absolute "cult" in the house the entire season. And by his side the entire time was Josh, who was quick to both cause conflict and get into emotional breakdowns. Despite being perceived as a "lapdog" of Paul, Josh stuck by their side, carefully tailoring his messages to the jury. It's a decision that paid off handily as, in an incredibly controversial decision, Paul was denied a win yet again, making Josh one of the most unlikely winners in the show's history.

Despite being one-and-done on Big Brother, Josh has gone on to become a staple on another reality TV franchise: The Challenge. Across six seasons, Josh has become one of the show's biggest modern characters, continuing to bring his knack for conflict.

Kaycee Clark (Season 20) Kaycee Clark

Like season 6, Big Brother 20 came down to a battle between two sides. The dominant "Level 6" alliance sported Kaycee, a pro football player. In the second half of the season, she won two HoHs and five Power of Vetos. And, though she went to the end with the season's main strategist in Tyler, her competition resume and easygoing social nature gave her the close win.

Like Josh, Kaycee has gone on to become a mainstay on The Challenge. She has appeared on five seasons, making it to three finals. She won her first season on The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies. Through the show, she also met Nany Gonzalez. The two started a relationship and got engaged in 2023, but they broke up in 2025.

Jackson Michie (Season 21) Jackson Michie

An aggressive personality, Jackson set himself up well in the first half of Big Brother 21 in the majority alliance. But a mid-season blow-up turned all of his former allies against him and his showmance Holly. Despite his back being against the wall, Jackson adapted, winning competitions to make him safe nearly every week in they jury phase, and telling key lies to get him and Holly out of trouble. As a result, he got to the end with Holly, where his resume got him the win.

Unfortunately for Jackson, he walked out to a less-than-stellar reception. While fans felt he played the better game, he had received criticism for racist remarks, being verbally abusive to Holly and cheating on his slop diet. Jackson went largely off the grid for the years following his win, eventually breaking up with Holly. In a 2021 TikTok, he admitted that, right before going into Big Brother, he was struggling against addiction to Xanax, Adderall and cocaine.

Cody Calafiore (Season 22) Cody Calafiore

In season 16, Cody made one of the biggest mistakes in the show's history, taking Derrick to the Final Two and losing as a result. But he made good on his second chance during Big Brother All-Stars. Cody took command of the house from the first week and never relinquished, building a majority that held power through competition wins. When he made it to his second Final Two, there was no question he was the winner, becoming the second unanimous victor in the show's history.

In between Big Brother seasons, Cody has become an actor, most prominently starring in the Amazon Prime original series New Dogs, Old Tricks. He currently cohosts "The Winner's Circle" podcast with Derrick, where they break down the current season of Big Brother. Cody made his return to reality TV on Peacock's first season of The Traitors, where he was betrayed by eventual season 25 houseguest Cirie Fields.

Xavier Prather (Season 23) Xavier Prather

Lawyer Xavier Prather started the game low-key, pretending he was a lawyer and not talking much strategy. But early on, he crucially got into the "Cookout" alliance with Big Brother 23's other Black houseguests. The group executed a master plan to make the Final Six and guarantee the first Black winner in the show's civilian history. When only the Cookout was left, Xavier had set himself up well with multiple Final Two alliances. He coupled that with some clutch competition wins that caused him to cut some big threats single-handedly, creating an impressive resume to give him the win.

Xavier went on to compete on the first season of The Challenge: USA the year after his win. He made it four episodes into the show before getting eliminated.

Taylor Hale (Season 24) Taylor Hale

Taylor had the roughest start to a Big Brother winner in the show's history. After being painted as a threat and pariah, she was backdoored in the first week. And, though she survived, she still had to endure being targeted by some of the most outspoken people in the house. But Taylor got into the dominant "Leftovers" alliance with the other outsiders in the house, where they dismantled the other side. Sitting on finale night, Taylor was taken to the Final Two by her showmance Monte, who felt she was an easy person to beat. But Taylor delivered one of the most impactful speeches in the show's history, outlining her journey from powerless to powerful, and handily earning her the win through all the adversity she faced.

Taylor is, to date, the only Big Brother player to win both the season and the America's Favorite Houseguest fan favorite prize. She is also the first ever Black woman to win a civilian season. Following her season, Taylor dated fellow houseguest Joseph, though they broke up in 2023. She has parlayed her time on reality TV into an entertainment career, and is currently doing Big Brother exit interviews for Entertainment Tonight. Taylor was also the co-host of the companion series Big Brother: Unlocked in 2025. She competed alongside her boyfriendKyland Young on The Amazing Race 38 (they later broke up).

Jag Bains (Season 25) Jag Bains

Big Brother 25 was the longest season ever, running a whopping 100 days. So it only makes sense that the winner, Jag Bains, broke many records in his own right. Jag was on the back foot from the beginning and was actually evicted in Week 4. Luckily, he was saved by his close ally Matt Klotz, giving him a new life in the game. And he made good on his second chance, going on to dominate the latter half of the game, systematically dismantling the biggest threats while also raking it in with the competitions. By the end, Jag had broken the all-time record for comp wins in a season and became both the first Sikh player to win and the first player to win after being previously evicted. Jag is currently competing on The Amazing Race 38 with his brother Jas Bains.

Chelsie Baham (Season 26) Chelsie Baham

Big Brother 26 was known for its wild and unpredictable prejury period. And Chelsie Baham wasn't immune from the massive swings. She spent the first week "downgraded," and her strategic game was soon to follow when she lost two of her tightest allies back-to-back. But Chelsie was able to rally, putting together an incredible second half of the game that had her tying the record for HoH wins, while also strategically manipulatng people to pull off improbable moves. In the end, she was rewarded for her dominant game, being the first woman to win unanimously in Big Brother history. Chelsie is also competed with her dad Jack Baham on The Amazing Race 38.

Ashley Hollis (Season 27)

Big Brother 27 was defined by its intense social maneuvering and the "underdog" journey of attorney Ashley Hollis. Ashley endured a rocky start—including being ostracized on Night 1 and nominated in the first week—but managed to survive by winning an early Power of Veto. While she initially tried to play a bit dumb to lower her threat level and gather intelligence, she was secretly orchestrating her path forward. Her game reached a turning point when she made the difficult but strategic decision to cut her closest ally, Morgan Pope, at the Final Three. By winning the final Head of Household competition and delivering a standout performance before the jury, Ashley secured a 6–1 victory, proving that her calculated strategy was far more potent than her houseguests realized. After the show, she has continued her career as a lawyer.

Brooke Lynn Hytes has been able to do a lot in a little less than a decade. Since finishing runner-up on Season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race, the world has been her runway. And though she wasn't able to win a crown, she did get officially crowned "Queen of the North" the next year, when she became the host and main judge of Canada's Drag Race.

In the 2020s, Canada's Drag Race has made a name for itself as a spiritual sibling to the Emmy-winning reality series. While the format of the show is generally the same, with Canadian drag queens entering the Main Stage for a chance at the title, the series has utilized a slew of brand-new twists, courtesy of the mind of showrunner Trevor Boris (having previously worked for both the American and Canadian versions of Big Brother). Now, after six seasons, and two "Versus the World" international showdowns, Canada's Drag Race rolls out its first-ever all-star edition, premiering tonight, June 9, on Crave and WOW Presents Plus.

"It's definitely been a subject we've talked about for a long time," Brooke Lynn tells Parade in an exclusive interview. "And I have asked multiple times, and I know Trevor wanted to do one. And so it was just more about timing, I think, and I'm really glad we waited till a little bit later, because we have such a fantastic crop of queens to choose from for our first All-Stars."

That crop includes a number of standouts, including Pythia, who recently represented the Great White North on Global All Stars, and Jackie Cox, who, despite being known for her time on the American version of Drag Race, is a Canadian citizen. The group of nine queens will be judged by a jury of their peers, including Brooke Lynn, Season 1 winner Priyanka, and All Stars Season 8 winner Jimbo.

This is far from the first time you've brought queens back, as we've had two seasons of Canada vs. the World. But was an all-star season always something in cards?
Well, yeah, I mean it's definitely been a subject we've talked about for a long time. And I have asked multiple times, and I know Trevor wanted to do one. And so it was just more about timing, I think, and I'm really glad we waited till a little bit later, because we have such a fantastic crop of queens to choose from for our first All-Stars. I mean, I think we have enough for several All-Stars, to be quite honest, at this point. But it's always good to keep people waiting. There's more anticipation, more suspense, more hunger for it. So I think this is the perfect time.

Do you find there's a difference in judging returning queens versus new ones? Especially because of the relationship you formed with them through their first season?
I mean, I try to judge what's in front of me and what I see and what they bring. But it does make it a little bit more difficult when you know what they're capable of. But also a lot of the times they also know what they're capable of, and they are doing their best to rise to the occasion. And it's also nice because they've been on TV before, so they're a little bit more comfortable in their own skin and their surroundings. Everything's not so new and kind of scary and otherworldly. They kind of feel a little bit more comfortable, which is also great, which makes them do better.

You're joined by two Canada's Drag Race alums and winners in their own right in Jimbo and Priyanka. How did that end up coming about?
That wasn't something that was always in the cards. Trevor called me up when we kind of found out we were doing All-Stars, and he was like, "Hey, I want it to be like an all-drag judging panel." And I said I was totally on board. I thought it was a brilliant idea, because it's never been done before. And it makes sense; it's what the fans want. And I said, "Yeah, that sounds amazing." And then I hung up, and then I called him back, and I was like, "As long as it's made very clear that I'm still the host." And he said, "Okay." And then I said, "Okay." [Laughs.] This is my house, ladies!

What was it like interacting with them as judges, considering you also judged them before?
It was great. I mean, that was 2019 when we filmed that, and we've worked together so much since then. We've become great friends; the camaraderie was amazing. They brought so much excitement and energy to the set because they were just obviously so excited to be there. What a dream to come and judge a season of Drag Race! So it was just amazing. And we were all just so excited. You could feel the energy on set. We were vibing off each other; we were reading each other. Everyone was just so excited to be there. I had the best time, and I know they had the best time too.

On that note, is there another Drag Race alum, either from Canada or otherwise, that you would want to see host a show?
Icesis Couture. I think she's one of the best drag queens from our franchise, and I think she would make a really, really good host. I think she would be great. I think Bianca [Del Rio] would be a great host at something. I think Monét [X Change] would be great. Naomi Smalls would be amazing. Gosh, there's so many. Sasha Colby would be wonderful. Sasha Velour, I could go on and on. All the Sashas!

You also have some great guest judges joining you, including Robby Hoffman, Kathy Griffin and Rebecca Black. What can you tease about their appearances?
Oh, they were so much fun! Epecially Robby Hoffman. Me and Robby, we were going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. She was hysterical. They were very entertaining. I had a lot of fun with them. Kathy Griffin was amazing. I mean, I grew up watching her comedy specials and loving her, and she was lovely. And also, Lemon! With her, Priyanka, and Jimbo, it's literally four drag queens sitting on the panel. It's kind of amazing. I was like, "This is like actually historic." So I love that!

Anything you can say about the challenges? I know Canada's Drag Race likes to twist up some of the conventional Drag Race challenges.
Oh, yeah, there are curveballs in terms of challenges. I think Episode 1 is very cool and a very interesting way to start off the season. And a little tribute to me, I must say.

The trailer talks about a brand-new twist that will be coming in for this season. And Canada's Drag Race has thrown in a good amount of twists over its run to change up the typical Drag Race formula. What twist do you wish made its way south for a season of RuPaul's Drag Race?
I would love to see the queens design outfits for RuPaul and model them. That's all I want. That's my favorite challenge. I mean, I love that one. So, that would be really funny. That would be the most-watched episode of RuPaul's Drag Race ever.

I will also give a shoutout to the Golden Beaver, which lets the challenge winner save someone in the Bottom 3. It's a great way to incorporate some drama and strategy into the game without necessarily having them decide firsthand who goes home, which we've seen lead to some dramatic outcomes in the American version.
Yeah, I completely agree. The Golden Beaver is such a great twist. I mean, our team, they're so amazing. They just come up with new things constantly. And I'm amazed. I'm like, "How do you keep making it better and different?" I'm shocked and in awe of them every season, how they just continue to make it fresh and cool and fun. It's really awesome.

How much do you think drag as an art form has changed since you started hosting Canada's Drag Race?
Oh gosh, so much. I mean, even if I look at like when I competed on Drag Race, which was a year before I started hosting Canada's Drag Race, just like the level of drag we brought, and then the level of drag that's being brought now to these packages, the money that's being spent. I'm like, "Oh, I'm glad I competed when I did." Because damn, people are mortgaging their house now for a package! It's crazy, it's wild.

It's great to see this elevation of drag. But at the same time, I would love to see people kind of learn how to do things for themselves. And you need that on the show. These are skills, like learning how to sew well and learning how to style your wigs. Doing these cool things will, A. Save you money when you're making your package. And B. Serve you on the show when you have to come and do a design challenge.

I still don't understand how queens get on the show and they're like, "I don't know how to sew!" You knew this was happening, possibly multiple times a season! But I think the level has certainly been elevated, and I feel like it continues to be elevated. Although I do see there's this trend. People wanting to return to mall drag. Now everyone's loving the mall drag thing.

We saw that in Season 18 with Darlene Mitchell!
Yes! And honestly, good for her! I saw her in Brooklyn, and I said, "You know what? You girl, you were so lucky. You just have to go to the mall, and you have to buy a dress. And you got to put it on, and people live. Do you know how lucky you are that that's all you got to do?! That is the dream! You get to clop around in those clip-clop shoes and just have a good time, and people are just loving you. You better work!"

Speaking of all-star seasons, we have seen plenty of reality stars, including queens, going onto other shows. Would you ever be interested in becoming a contestant again on another reality show?
I would love to do Dancing with the Stars. Love, love, love to do Dancing with the Stars. That would probably be my number one. I'm always looking for an excuse to get back into dance. My problem is, with my schedule, I don't have time. But if I am doing a show where I actually had to train, and I was there to train, and I could get back in shape, that would be amazing. So, I'd love to do Dancing with the Stars. Traitors, I don't understand. I don't get it. So maybe I'd be great at it, because I'd be like, "What are we doing here? I have no clue what's going on." But yes, I'm down for anything if there's a paycheck!

Candice Bergen's fiery flub has made her "infamous" in one Swiss town.

The Murphy Brown actress, 80, recalled the time she accidentally set a landmark in Switzerland on fire during the Wednesday, July 8, episode of Ted Danson’s Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast.

Bergen revealed that it was in 1960 that her visit to "the nicest restaurant" in Gstaad, Switzerland, went up in flames.

“It wasn’t just any restaurant either. It was the nicest restaurant,” Bergen told Danson. “It was the Olden in Gstaad, in a ski resort where the school I was going to was set, and I had snuck out because I was only 14. I wasn’t allowed to go out at night, so I’d snuck out.”

Bergen recalled sitting at a table with some of the older girls from her school, drinking wine and eating meat fondue, which she explained is meat "flavored in fat."

"I said, ‘Oh, let’s flavor the fat. Let’s put some wine in the fat,'" Bergen continued, admitting that when she followed through with her culinary inspiration, "this flame went up onto the ceiling of the restaurant" and set the curtains on fire.

Everyone was evacuated from the restaurant, and although the Olden was eventually able to be repaired and reopen, Bergen faced some serious consequences for her error. "I was not allowed out for the rest of the year, and quite rightly," she confessed.

The Boston Legal star's transgression wasn't easily forgotten by the people of Gstaad. Bergen revealed that when she returned to the town four decades later with her then-husband, Marshall Rose, she was quickly recognized.

“We were walking in the village, and a very nice-looking older ski instructor said, ‘Excuse me, but aren’t you Candice Bergen?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I am.’ And he said, ‘Aren’t you the woman who burned down the Olden?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I am,'" she joked. "So my name had lived on. Infamous."

Summer Houseis headed abroad!

NBCUniversal just announced the first international spinoff of Bravo's hit reality show, titled Summer House Canada, and revealed to The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, July 9, that production has already begun in southern Ontario.

The 10-part Canadian Summer House spinoff will premiere on NBCUniversal's Hayu streaming platform in 2027.

Summer House Canada will operate under the same premise as the original series, with a group of friends escaping their busy lives for a summer share house on the weekends, but will be filmed in the picturesque area of Muskoka, Ontario, as opposed to the Hamptons. No details of the Summer House Canada cast have been released at this time.

“We’re thrilled to bring this adaptation of the standout Summer House format to the market—and Muskoka offers the perfect, iconic Canadian setting to introduce Summer House Canada and build on the franchise’s momentum,” Hendrik McDermott, managing director, international DTC at NBCUniversal, said in a statement to THR on Thursday.

“Summer House has become a beloved global franchise known for its authentic friendships, big personalities and the unforgettable moments that come from spending a summer together. We’re excited to build on that by bringing the Canadian summer experience to fans worldwide,” added Erin Haskett, President and Executive Producer of Lark Productions.

The news of Summer House's first international spinoff comes as the original series just secured its first-ever Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category.

The historic nomination comes after an explosive 10th season of the Bravo show, which concluded with a scandal involving co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson. The couple confirmed after the original Season 10 filming wrap date that they were in a relationship, sparking outrage due to Batula's recent estrangement from her husband, Kyle Cooke, and Wilson's previous split from Batula's former best friend, Ciara Miller.

Marilyn Manson, the provocative rock star, delivered a major surprise as he continued his One Assassination Under God Tour.

As part of his July run, the five-time Grammy nominee headlined Resurrection Fest in Viveiro, Spain alongside rock heavyweights Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit and Sabaton.

The 57-year-old musician wasted no time thrilling fans with a rare performance.

Initially released as the lead single from his greatest hits compilation album, Lest We Forget: The Best Of, the controversial artist transformed the band’s synth-pop classic into an industrial rock anthem that reflected his signature sound.

Apart from that, he also gave his newly released track “Exit Wound” its live debut.

The song, which is part of his forthcoming album, was released on June 12 along with a cinematic music video.

Speaking of new albums, Manson’s upcoming 13th studio album is scheduled for worldwide release on August 14 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Following the rare performances, the Ohio native is currently in the middle of the summer European leg of his tour.

The 14-date trek will run throughout July, with the final concert scheduled for July 27 in Ghimbav, Romania.

In addition, the rock star will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his second studio album, Antichrist Superstar, with two special performances.

John Mellencamp surprised some lucky fans with a rehearsal concert that unearthed several past songs he hadn’t performed in years.

Just ahead of his Dancing Words Tour, the rocker, 74, performed at a free open rehearsal session to benefit the Evansville Rescue Mission near his Indiana hometown.

Ultimate Classic Rock shared the set list, noting that it featured multiple songs Mellencamp hadn’t performed live since the early 2000s, including “Our Country," which was last played in 2008, and “I Need a Lover," last played in 2009. In addition, Mellencamp performed his cover of Van Morrison's “Wild Night” for the first time since 2005.

The cover song, originally recorded with neo-soul artist Meshell NdegeOcello for Mellencamp’s Dance Naked album, went to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1994 and was the rocker’s last major Top 5 hit song. NdegeOcello sang with Mellencamp and played bass on the cover recording of the Van Morrison classic.

Mellencamp once spoke about working with NdegeOcello on the classic cover song, noting that the session was a happy accident. Speaking with ABC News, he recalled that they were jamming in the studio when he asked her to play the bass part of the Van Morrison song.

"She says, 'I don't know that song,'" Mellencamp shared. "And I said to her, 'You don't know "Wild Night" by Van Morrison?' And my band started playing it, and she started playing along."

Mellencamp added that an engineer took a listen to the impromptu session and suggested NdegeOcello return to the studio to officially record it.

"That's how that record was made," Mellencamp said. "It was an accident."

Mellencamp told The Los Angeles Times that he became aware of his duet collaborator after hearing her debut album, Plantation Lullabies, which was released in 1993.

“I liked what she did,” Mellencamp told the outlet. “I thought she was the real item.”

While he originally just wanted NdegeOcello to play bass on the track, he decided to have a second voice on the song. The result was a magical pairing that dominated 1994 radio.

Mellencamp also told  ABC, "If you noticed, most of my duets are interracial, and it was done for a reason. It was my way of saying, 'Look at what people could do if they don't judge each other.' We should be able to sing together, dance together, make love with each other, get married to each other, and become you know, human beings."

Mellencamp’s Dancing Words tour kicks off on  July 10 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Rolling Stones are proving that decades into their career, inspiration can still strike fast.

The legendary rock band revealed that their new album, Foreign Tongues, came together in less than a month while recording at Metropolis Studios in their hometown of London.

"We put this album together in under a month at Metropolis Studios in our hometown of London—it was a lot of fun," the band shared in a statement. "The critics seem to like it, we hope everyone loves it!"

The milestone was celebrated in style on July 8, when Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood hosted an exclusive release party overlooking the River Thames from the terrace of London's newest luxury hotel, St. Clement.

The star-studded guest list included Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, Sam Fender, Sacha Baron Cohen, Simone Ashley, Christian Louboutin, John McEnroe, Glen Matlock and Vernon Kay, who joined the band to toast the release of Foreign Tongues.

The festivities ended with a dramatic 500-drone light show over the River Thames, illuminating the London skyline with the Rolling Stones' iconic tongue logo and artwork from the new album. The display appeared above landmarks including the London Eye and Big Ben and was synchronized to the band's latest single, "In The Stars."

The one-of-a-kind spectacle was designed by internationally acclaimed lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe.

"The music for the 500-drone light show was set to the new Stones song 'In The Stars' and is a fitting metaphor to see the iconic and much-loved Stones' tongue hanging over the River Thames to celebrate a record made here in the city of London," Woodroffe said.

With Foreign Tongues already earning positive reviews and the band celebrating its arrival with a memorable London spectacle, the Rolling Stones are showing they can still make headlines (and new music) at an impressive pace.

Sometimes, you never know how the public will react.

That's what Shameless star Emmy Rossum learned when her equal pay dispute became public. While she braced herself for backlash, the actress instead saw widespread surprise that she wasn't already earning equal pay—a response she says quickly shifted the conversation.

The actress recalled learning that her private salary negotiations with Showtime had become public while she was scrolling through X during a writers' retreat. “I was on a writer’s retreat, and I was procrastinating, and I opened up Twitter, and it was a headline that we were in a stalemate, and I was shook,” she shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast about the 2016 conflict. “It’s a private business negotiation, and I never imagined it would become public. Not just for the public, but for the cast and crew. Everyone was doing their own negotiation. So I certainly didn’t want that. I didn’t say anything.”

Instead, Rossum said people were surprised she wasn't already earning the same salary as Shameless costar William H. Macy, and the shift in public conversation was so swift that the dispute was resolved within a day.

“The tide really shifted,” she revealed. “People seemed to write other articles, like immediately commenting on that, being quite surprised that I wasn’t already being paid equal. And it was resolved within a day. I was shocked, and quite frankly, very, very surprised that we actually got it.”

As an original member of the Shameless ensemble, Rossum said she had no issue with Macy earning more than she did when the series began because "it made a lot of sense" for him to be paid "a lot more money than me." But as the show's popularity soared and her character, Fiona, evolved into a co-lead, Rossum believed her compensation should reflect her growing importance to the series. By season 3, she said she had the "receipts" and "fan engagement" to justify equal pay.

After her initial request was denied, Rossum said her renewed push for equal pay ahead of season 8 was "shut down pretty fast," leaving her unsure "if we were going to get it."

Rossum's final season of Shameless was Season 9. The series continued for two more seasons before ending in 2021.

Allison Janney's psychic habit may have proved more insightful than even she imagined!

The West Wing actress, 66, revealed her "weird" psychic prediction that came true during a conversation with guest host Tiffany Haddish on Jimmy Kimmel Live, revealing that it initially had her swearing off clairvoyants for good.

Janney admitted to Haddish during the Tuesday, July 7, episode that the Girls Trip star could have "no idea" how much money she's spent on psychics over the years, even shelling out for a pet psychic to give her insight into her dogs' past lives.

Asked if any of the predictions she's received over the years have come true, Janney answered, "Yes—and this was weird."

She then recalled meeting a psychic at a hotel many years ago, who zeroed in on the photo Janney had of Chuck Lorre, the producer behind huge hits like The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, and Young Sheldon.

Janney was developing "something" with Lorre at the time, so she was delighted when the psychic told her, "This man, you’re gonna have a very long relationship with him."

That prediction seemed to go up in smoke, however, when Janney's project with Lorre fell through. "I was like, ‘God, I’m never going to another psychic," the actress recalled.

Just two years later, however, Janney was cast alongside Anna Faris in Lorre's CBSsitcomMom, which would go on to run from 2013 to 2021.

Janney's faith in psychics has, needless to say, been revived. “I think it’s cheaper than therapy, in a way,” the Emmy-winning actress explained. “It’s so great when you leave, and you hear something… This one psychic told me—and it didn’t happen—said that I was gonna meet the man of my dreams and I was gonna have all this wild, hot sex with him."

While Janney never found the mystery man nicknamed "Hot Pants," she did say the prediction got her to "go out more" and embrace the possibility of romance. "Because I was like, ‘Nah, I don’t wanna go to that party, but maybe Hot Pants is gonna be there. So I’m gonna go.’”
