Jack Hughes Responds to Backlash Over Men's Hockey Team Accepting Donald Trump's White House Invite
Team USA hockey star Jack Hughes responded to the backlash over the men's team accepting President Donald Trump's White House invitation after winning gold, when the women's team declined the offer.
On Feb. 22, Hughes, 24, scored the winning goal to defeat Canada in overtime and secure the first gold medal for the men's hockey team since the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" win. The women's hockey team also secured gold on Feb. 19.
On Monday, Feb. 23, Hughes spoke with the Daily Mail about Trump inviting the men's team to the White House. "Yeah, we're excited," he said. "Everything is so political. We're athletes."
Hughes continued, "We're so proud to represent the U.S., and when you get the chance to go to White House and meet the President, we're proud to be Americans, and that's so patriotic. No matter what your views are, we're super excited to go to the White House tomorrow and be a part of that."
Following the Team USA Men's Hockey win, Trump personally invited them to tour the White House and attend the State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 24. In a video of the call, made through FBI Director Kash Patel's phone, the POTUS, 79, said, “We’ll do the White House the next day. We’ll just have some fun. We have medals for you guys."
Trump added, "I must tell you, we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that," joking that he would “probably be impeached” if he didn’t invite them.

— Harrison Krank (@HarrisonKrank) February 23, 2026After the video circulated on social media, Hughes and other players faced criticism for not only accepting Trump's White House invite but for laughing at Trump's joke about the women's team.
"People are so negative about things," Hughes told the Daily Mail. "I think everyone in that locker room knows how much we support them, how proud we are of them and we know the same way we feel about them, they feel about us."
The women's hockey team declined Trump's offer to attend the State of the Union address on Feb. 24, NBC reported.
"We are sincerely grateful for the invitation extended to our gold medal–winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team and deeply appreciate the recognition of their extraordinary achievement," a spokesperson said in the statement. "Due to the timing and previously scheduled academic and professional commitments following the Games, the athletes are unable to participate."
The message added, "They were honored to be included and are grateful for the acknowledgment."

Desi Arnaz Feared He Was Dying After Misdiagnosis Ahead of His Broadway Debut
Before meeting and falling in love withLucille Ball, Desi Arnaz had a harrowing medical experience while rehearsing for Too Many Girls, his Broadway debut show. The entertainer was misdiagnosed, and it led him to believe he was dying at the start of his career.
In a re-release of his memoir titled A Book: The Outspoken Memoirs of the Man Who “Loved Lucy”—and Revolutionized Television, Arnaz looks back at when he was 22 in 1939. He was already rehearsing on Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's Too Many Girls when he got a medical checkup over a pain in his foot and a blue-ish appearance.
"I had to test your blood because of the poison in your foot, and the test showed that you have syphilis," said the doctor when revealing his test results.
Arnaz remembers being in shock over the news, seeing as he was just starting to see success in his career. Too Many Girls was gaining traction and was a "big hit" and had yet to reach the Broadway stage. Being told he had syphilis was "worse than death" in those days, he said, seeing as penicillin wasn't readily available as a cure yet.
"Strange how many things go through your mind at a time like that: You are 22, you’ve gone through 5 years of cleaning birdcages, gone hungry, worked at ratholes, the terrible things my father and mother had to go through in Cuba, and now I’m in a successful show, about to open on Broadway, a show which the newspapers say will be a big fat hit and it looks as if I’ll be a hit too. A big fat hit on Broadway! And this man tells me I’ve got syphilis!" he said in his memoir.

Not wanting to accept his diagnosis and knowing what happened to Al Capone, who was also diagnosed with syphilis and died in 1947, Arnaz asked to be tested again. To his surprise, the results were negative. He later learned that his blood sample had been wrongly placed with another patient's name, as they were both in the same public room together.
"For the next year and a half, I had a blood test taken every six months. I wouldn’t trust any hospital. I would go right to the doctor and say, 'You take the blood in front of me, you put it in that little glass tube in front of me, and I’m going to take it to the lab myself, or if someone else has to take it, I’ll go with him,'" said Arnaz.
After Too Many Girls became a hit and was bought by RKO Pictures, Arnaz went to Hollywood to appear in the movie version, where he met Ball and married in 1940.
How One $20 Serum Is Disrupting the Luxury Skincare Market: A Cult Body Lotion Unveils New Secret Weapon
Premium skincare is usually defined by heavy glass bottles and three-digit price tags. But the biggest disruption of the year isn't coming from a boutique brand in Paris; it's coming from the pharmacy aisle. Amlactin, a brand known for its cult-classic body lotions, has officially moved onto the face—and it’s taking aim at the prestige market.
According to a release, the brand's new Bright & Smooth Serum aims to a part of the "Skinimalist" movement—the minimalist 2026 trend where consumers are ditching 12-step routines for high-performance essentials. At a time when consumers seek glow through layers of brightening ingredients, Amlactin wants to make exfoliation the non-negotiable first step.
"Many patients initially believe brightening is about adding more and more ingredients, but in dermatology we know true radiance starts with what you remove," says Dr. Mara Weinstein, M.D., FAAD. Amlactin’s "exfoliation-first" approach uses a 5% AHA blend of lactic and glycolic acids to clear the way so that Niacinamide and Vitamin C can finally do their jobs.
Amlactin Bright & Smooth Serum (Photo: Brand)While luxury competitors sell 1 oz bottles for upwards of $80, Amlactin is offering a "generous 8 oz bottle" for just $19.99. It is a direct challenge to the idea that effective skincare has to be a luxury expense. This isn't just a facial serum; it's a head-to-toe treatment designed for the chest, back, elbows, and knees.
"Glow isn't something you add — it's something you reveal," explains Jennifer Wisdom, Head of Amlactin. The results back up the hype: in a consumer study, 100% of participants confirmed their skin appeared instantly refreshed, and 93% saw their dull skin transformed into a clearer, more radiant complexion.
Amlactin’s move into Ulta Beauty and Amazon marks a major brand evolution. They are transitioning from a niche solution for "rough skin" to a modern authority in the Skinimalism era. By democratizing dermatological care, they are proving that the most powerful secret weapon in your routine isn't the most expensive one—it’s the one that actually works.
As Wisdom puts it, the goal is to provide skin that looks "visibly refreshed, glowing skin — like your best skin days." In 2026, the real luxury isn't the price tag; it's the results.
U.S. Women’s Hockey Players Seemingly React to Trump’s Phone Call With Men’s Team
Several U.S. Women's Hockey players appeared to have liked posts on Instagram criticizing President Donald Trump and the U.S. Men's Hockey Team.
The U.S. women won gold on Friday, Feb. 20 with a 2-1 overtime victory against Canada, taking home their first gold medal in eight years.
The U.S. men also won a 2-1 overtime match against Canada on Sunday, Feb. 22. In locker-room celebration videos following the victory, FBI Director Kash Patel phoned in President Trump, who then proceeded to make a controversial joke about the women’s team.
“We’ll just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to — I must tell you — we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that,” the president said as he and the team laughed. “I do believe I probably would be impeached [if I didn’t].”

After the president's comments—and the men's team apparent support for them—went viral online, fans took to Instagram to criticize both parties, with some posts getting the attention of the women's team.
One Instagram user posted a photo with a quote by Tina Fey which said, "You can tell how smart people are by what they laugh at," and tagged the USA Hockey official account. The post appeared to liked by Laila Edwards and Taylor Heise.
Another post shared rapper and reality star Flavor Flav's invitation to throw the team a "real celebration" in Las Vegas, and Edwards, Heise, Gwyneth Philips, and Hayley Scamurra seemingly liked that post as well.
Heise also appeared to like a post which criticized the notion of "having" to invite the women's team to the White House, pointing out their dominance in the Olympic tournament.

The White House did end up inviting the U.S. Women’s Hockey team to President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 24, but the players said they will not be attending.
A USA Hockey spokesperson told NBC News‘ Monica Alba on Monday, Feb. 23 that the team was grateful for the recognition, but the players are unable to attend due to prior commitments.
“We are sincerely grateful for the invitation extended to our gold medal–winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team and deeply appreciate the recognition of their extraordinary achievement,” the spokesperson said. “Due to the timing and previously scheduled academic and professional commitments following the Games, the athletes are unable to participate.”
Neither the White House nor USA Hockey have commented on the president’s remarks thus far.
Ian McKellen Makes Surprising Confession About Marvel Films: 'I Don't Always Understand the Story'
Though he's long remained a cornerstone of the original X-Men film series, Sir Ian McKellen is admitting that even he has trouble following the general story presented in his long-running superhero franchise.
Appearing on a recent episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 86-year-old McKellen opened up about his upcoming role in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.
When asked to comment about his role in the film, McKellen made a hilariously surprising confession about his character, Magneto, within the expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also gave a seemingly minor spoiler about his part in Avengers: Doomsday, including the fact that he's set to destroy an entire state at some point in the movie.
"Now, I don't always understand the story of these movies I'm in," McKellen said.
"Neither do I, but it doesn't really matter," the show's host, Stephen Colbert, answered with a laugh.
"But in this one, I don't think I'm spoiling anything by saying that Magneto destroys New Jersey," McKellen continued. "I'm sorry about that New Jersey."
As most fans are sure to know, McKellen has portrayed the X-Men's overarching antagonist Magneto since the first X-Men film released in 2000. Over the years, the Lord of the Ringsstar has appeared as the super-powered Mutant a total of five times, with his final on-screen appearance coming courtesy of 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.
In addition to McKellen, a younger version of the character has been portrayed by actor Michael Fassbender starting with 2011's X-Men: First Class and ending with 2019's Dark Phoenix.
McKellen joins a long list of actors who will headline the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh and many more.
Additionally, several recognizable names from the past X-Men films will also return alongside McKellen, such as Patrick Stewart, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and James Marsden.
Ryan Coogler's 'X-Files' Reboot Gets Major Casting Update
There's no doubt that Ryan Coogler is one of the finest filmmakers working in the industry right now, and the success of Sinners proves that he can effortlessly step into any genre. That's why fans went berserk when it was announced that Coogler would be taking the reins of the X-Files reboot. However, the project remained stuck in development for years, until now, with Hulu officially confirming that the much-awaited revival is finally moving forward.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming platform has revealed that Coogler's reboot is moving ahead with a pilot order, marking the first major step toward bringing his reimagined vision of the series to the small screen. But that wasn't the only major update, as the announcement also revealed that Danielle Deadwyler will star as one of the series' central leads. As of now, the details of her character have been kept under wraps, and the second lead is yet to be announced.

The BAFTA-winning filmmaker will write and direct the pilot episode of the reboot that will focus on two highly accomplished FBI agents who form an unlikely partnership after being assigned to a long-closed division tasked with investigating mysterious and paranormal cases. While the premise echoes the DNA of the original 1993 series, the new version will aim to stand on its own rather than simply repeating what viewers have already seen. With the upcoming series being developed under Disney's Onyx Collective banner, viewers may see the series having a modernized tone and broader perspective.
The news of the X-Filesreboot first emerged in 2023, when the creator of the iconic series, Chris Carter, revealed that Coogler had a conversation with him about reviving the beloved sci-fi franchise. The original series ran from 1993 to 2002 and became a cultural phenomenon, redefining television with its eerie storytelling and conspiracy-driven narratives. The show went on to win 16 Primetime Emmys during its original run, making it one of the most acclaimed projects in the history of television.

However, the biggest question arising from the announcement is whether fans will get to see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson make an appearance in the universe they helped create. Only time will tell, but with Coogler and Deadwyler leading the charge, the X-Files reboot is moving away from being just a rehash and toward becoming something extraordinary.
Nearly three decades after audiences first heard that "the truth is out there,” Coogler’s reboot suggests that television may once again be ready to chase it — this time through a different lens, but with the same sense of mystery that made the original unforgettable.

Ozzy Osbourne’s '80s Bandmate Says He Wasn’t Invited to the Final Show
Tommy Aldridge, the legendary rock drummer who played in Ozzy Osbourne’s band in the 1980s, revealed he was not on the invite list for Back to the Beginning. The star-studded metal show, which served as Osbourne’s final foray on stage, was held in July 2025 at Villa Park in England, less than two weeks before the Black Sabbath legend’s death.
In addition to Osbourne’s Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, several other Osbourne rockers performed, including bassist Mike Inez, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde. Bands such as Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Guns N Roses all took the stage to pay tribute to the retiring Prince of Darkness, but Aldridge, who was part of Osbourne's solo band at a pivotal point in history, was nowhere in sight.
In an audio clip posted on Aldridge’s official YouTube page, on Feb. 23, the drummer said he was not upset by the snub.
“I don't want to cast aspersions, I don't want to shade anyone," Aldridge, 75, said in the clip. "I wasn't invited to be at Ozzy's last show. That's as much as I need to say. I wasn't invited. And I'm not gonna crash someone else's party. I will say, but that has no reflection on Ozzy. I have so much admiration and love for Ozzy. Ozzy was someone I spent a lot of time with, and it was by no means any disrespect intended on my part — certainly not — and the powers that be. I pay my highest regards and respects to Ozzy Osbourne on any opportunity I get to do that."
Aldridge explained that he first worked with Osbourne due to their mutual friendship with late guitar player Randy Rhoads The iconic guitarist died tragically at age 25 in a 1982 plane crash while on tour with Osbourne. But Aldridge knew Osbourne before meeting Rhoads.
"I was pretty much established before I ever worked with Ozzy, from previous bands,” Aldridge noted. “In fact, Ozzy was interested in extending the offer to me from having heard me play when I was in bands that supported Ozzy. My first tour, actually, abroad, first internationally known band, was a band called Black Oak Arkansas, and the first dates that I did internationally were supporting Black Sabbath. That's when I met Ozzy. And that was … a long, long time ago. He shared some of his success with me."
“I would like to think that I, in some small way, participated, especially in the early, early times when he was unceremoniously dispatched from the only band he'd ever played in, Black Sabbath,” the drummer continued. “So, yeah, I had some experiences with Ozzy that no one really knows anything about. I knew Ozzy before other people knew Ozzy, so I met Ozzy way before he met his wife, and so forth and so on. So we had a relationship that superseded Randy Rhoads, and I have a lot of respect and appreciation for what Ozzy has done, not just in my career, but what he's done musically."

Aldridge played on the 1983 Osbourne album Bark at the Moon, and the live albums Speak of the Devil and Tribute.
When the 1981 album Diary of a Madman was originally released, Aldridge was wrongly credited for the drum tracks recorded by Lee Kerslake, who left the band that same year. Aldridge's name and photograph were even included in the liner notes for the album. Rudy Sarzo was also incorrectly credited for Bob Daisley’s bass work, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
Aldridge, who toured with Osbourne around that time, felt uncomfortable by the misleading album credits. "Though I've never had the opportunity to tell him, Lee should be very proud of those records," Aldridge once said of Kerslake. "I remember someone – who shall remain nameless – trying to get me to re-record the drums. I declined, saying I couldn't improve upon what he did."
Aldridge has always been vocal about his respect for Osbourne. A statement on his official website reads, ”I’ve always had deep respect and gratitude for Ozzy, not only for the role he played in my career, but for his lasting impact on music itself."

Bangles Legend Susanna Hoffs, 67, Blows Fans Away With Stunning Cover of a 1968 Beatles Song
Susanna Hoffs rose to stardom in the '80s with her band, the Bangles. But the talented singer and guitarist also loves to pay homage to the musicians who came before her.
Hoffs, 67, led the ’80s all-girl band to superstardom thanks to songs like “Walk Like an Egyptian” and “Manic Monday.” Still a popular face on social media, the brunette beauty still loves singing and dancing, and occasionally whips out her guitar to perform for her followers. That was the case this week, when she blew fans away with a cover of "The Inner Light" by the Beatles. Originally penned by George Harrison, the stunning performance made it clear that while Hoffs rose to stardom decades ago, she still packs a punch when she performs.
Check out the brunette beauty as she performs the song below:

“Here is a brand new recording of ‘Eternal Flame’ which I co-wrote in 1988 with my friends Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly,” Hoffs wrote in a social media post. “I was inspired to sing it again! As I stood before the microphone, I fought back tears of gratitude for the opportunity to sing a song I have loved and cherished my entire adult life. We’ve grown up together!”
The singer continued, sharing how people continue to tell her how much the song means to them.
“I’ve been touched time and again by stories from friends and strangers alike who’ve expressed how much ‘Eternal Flame’ has meant to them, whether the song played as they walked down the aisle at their wedding, or brought consolation. I still wake up each morning, motivated to sing, to write, to make art, and to find ways to connect,” she noted. “I’m still that same girl with that same emotion—older, and hopefully wiser.”

1997 Pop-Country Smash Just Named the 'Greatest of All Time Hot 100 Songs by Women'
"How Do I Live" is one of the most successful pop-country crossover hits of the 1990s. Now, the LeAnn Rimes hit is adding one more accolade to its resume: the song has been named Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Hot 100 song by a female artist.
The Story Behind "How Do I Live""How Do I Live" was written by hitmaker Diane Warren and was originally recorded in 1997 when Rimes was just 14 years old for the Con Air soundtrack. When the studio found Rimes' version leaning too much on the side of pop music, they enlisted Country phenom Trisha Yearwood to record an interpretation for the Con Air soundtrack. Both renditions earned accolades and climbed the music charts, but it is Rimes’ performance that became a phenomenon.
Rimes’ recording of "How Do I Live" spent 69 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a longevity record at the time. It peaked at No. 2 on the chart, earned massive radio play, and cemented itself as one of the defining hits of the ’90s.
Why the Billboard Hot 100 MattersThe acknowledgment of the song’s lasting impact and legacy comes nearly 30 years after its original release. Rimes, now 43, remains one of the most recognizable pop-country artists. She continues to tour regularly and has released multiple studio albums in recent years. A crossover artist herself, LeAnn Rimes also stars in the new ABC drama 9-1-1: Nashville alongside Father of the Bride star Kimberly Williams-Paisley. Fans nostalgic for the ’90s have never been happier.
In case you’re wondering whether being named Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Hot 100 song by a female artist is a big deal, it’s not. It’s a really big deal.
The Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry’s standard chart ranking the most popular songs in the United States. Compiled by Billboard magazine, it measures a song’s performance based on a combination of metrics, including radio airplay, sales, and streaming activity. A strong showing on the Hot 100 is widely considered one of the biggest indicators of mainstream success.
Awards and Lasting LegacyIn addition to the Billboard accolade, Rimes earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "How Do I Live," further cementing her as one of the most successful young artists of her era. Now, she’s recognized as one of the most successful of all time.
It’s hard to believe a song with such long-lasting popularity was recorded by Rimes when she was just 14 years old. "How Do I Live" wasn’t just a chart-topper and award winner; it also helped define the pop-country genre. The song catapulted a young LeAnn Rimes into meteoric fame, and her powerful, soulful voice drew comparisons to Patsy Cline.
Lisa Rinna Allegedly Roofied at 'The Traitors' Premiere Party
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna claims she was drugged at The Traitors premiere party in January.
According to TMZ, sources close to the situation say that Rinna's co-star Colton Underwood noticed she was "completely inebriated." Sources say that Underwood became concerned and notified her team as Rinna had not had that much to drink.
Underwood and Rinna did not get along while they were on the show together but once the show had wrapped filming, Rinna said they were friends. However, Rinna has publicly acknowledged the stalking allegations from Underwood's ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph. Randolph claimed that while she was dating Underwood following The Bachelor, he put a tracking device in her car.
Rinna also mentioned at a recent book signing for her new memoir, You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It, that Underwood unfollowed her on social media after filming The Traitors reunion.
It is unclear if this incident at the premiere party was reported to the police or if Rinna had been taken to the hospital. TMZ contacted representatives for Rinna and Underwood but neither have yet to comment.
Jeff Probst Wants ‘Survivor 50’ Players to Trick Each Other With Fake Advantages (Exclusive)
Survivor 50 is set up to be the biggest season in the iconic reality show's history — and we're not just speaking metaphorically. That's because the milestone installment of the CBS series, premiering with a three-hour episode Feb. 25, sports its largest group of castaways to date, as a whopping 24 players will hit the beach for their second, third, fourth, fifth or even sixth time.
It's a big step to take from a production perspective, especially considering the "new era" of the last nine seasons has used only 18 castaways. But, when speaking with Jeff Probst out on the Fijian set during the opening days of Survivor 50, the host and executive producer reveals the burgeoning was predominantly out of necessity.
"We looked at 20 and realized there's just no way," the Emmy winner says. "It doesn't even feel complete enough. When we looked at a cast of 20, it was like, 'It's not going to satisfy.' And so then we just sat down and spent some time with math, going, 'Okay, how would we handle 24?' Because that was the next number we felt we could get to and go to tribes of eight with three."
This tracks with what Parade has been able to ascertain about the Survivor 50 casting process through conversations with both Probst and the cast. Rick Devens, for example, revealed he was originally an alternate for the season. But the Season 38 standout was eventually told that he would become a part of the cast proper. And the cast expansion is due at least in part to production wanting both Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic to make the immediate return trip to Fiji for a return engagement.
"We landed on 24 in part because we saw these two players on 49 and said, ‘We got to have them,'” Probst recalls. “But what does that mean for our math? Does that mean we can invite more people onto 50? So it was really a win-win. But it was not guaranteed. We were never going to put somebody on just to have 49 represented.”

While having two dozen returning players sounds amazing on paper, the logistics...not so much. The biggest barrier the team had to face when planning out Season 50: The length. Despite the larger cast, Survivor 50 will continue with the change instituted in the new era, running only 26 days. So, once Probst and company settled on 24 players, it was time to get out a calculator (if only they had Christian Hubicki on hand!).
"We just started looking at the math and figuring out that we have to get rid of a certain number of players in the same number of days," he recounts. "But then we found some really structural ways that worked okay."
Parade can confirm that, during the first three days of the season, only one person was voted out of the game (it should be noted, however, that the premiere will apparently feature two total rounds of gameplay). So how will Survivor 50 get rid of assumingly 20 players in the next 23 days? A premerge full of double Tribal Councils? More postmerge split votes? Taking a page out of The Challenge and doing a purge in the middle of a challenge? Probst has remained mum about what Survivor 50 will look like, in part due to the "In the Hands of the Fans" theme.
"It was also going to be designed around what the fans voted for first," he says about the popular vote on key elements of the season. "So we have these two things happening simultaneously. We have 24 players, and we know we have to figure out how to vote them out. We also have to wait and see what elements we have to help us do that or to hinder us from doing that."
Related: ‘Survivor’s Mount Rushmore: The Legends Who Built a 50-Season Legacy (Exclusive)
"That's why the fan vote is so fun," he continues. "We're not in charge. I'm used to having control. Like, 'This is when an idol is going into the game, and this is how it works. And this is the new twist we're putting to the game, and this is how it works.' This is the audience saying, 'We'll let you know about the twists and advantages, Probst. We'll get back to you on that.'"
Indeed, two of the biggest structural elements that fans voted on in the first half of 2025 were the level of idols and advantages that would exist in the game. And no matter how many "trinkets" production throws in, Probst hopes the idea of the unknown will let these returnees get innovative.
"I think what's interesting for the player, at least the clever player, is knowing that nobody knows," he says. "So I can tell you anything I want as a fellow player. They could make up anything they want. I can tell you, 'I just ran into Probst in the jungle. I had a margarita with him. No, it's a new thing. It's called Drinks with Jeff.' And who knows if that's true, because they could have voted for anything. That's what I think is fun."
Could the castaways decide to make use of the theme's blank sheet of paper and write a winning story? Is this just a way to set up the double bluff of the "Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol" (which is, astoundingly, a real thing)? Regardless of whether we'll see Probst sipping a margarita, it will be quite the happy hour (or three) when Survivor 50 premieres tomorrow.

Russell Brand went to Southwark Crown Court on February 24 and pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape and sexual assault.
Two women claimed Brand, 50, committed the alleged crimes in 2009, according to the BBC. The actor previously pleaded not guilty in May to one count of indecent assault, two counts of rape, and another two for sexual assault, which allegedly happened between 1999 to 2005. Those charges involve four women.
Russell Brand Previously Made a Video Addressing His Past View this post on InstagramThe Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor will have a hearing in March, which will determine if these two charges will be combined with the others. The comedian told Reuters reporters he was feeling "blessed" this Tuesday. He wore a white cowboy hat, sunglasses, a black blazer, and held a Bible.
Brand had controversies during the years these cases cover. He and Jonathan Ross prank-called actor Andrew Sachs on The Russell Brand Show. He left a voicemail claiming he had sex with his granddaughter in 2008, and many BBC Radio 2 listeners complained. Brand resigned from the show after the episode resurfaced, and BBC was fined, according to The Guardian.
Brand previously addressed the accusations in a video in April of 2025. "Firstly, thank you for these incredible and overwhelming messages of support," he said. "We're very fortunate in a way to live in a time where there's so little trust in the British government." After mentioning his doubt in the government, he claimed he was a drug addict and sex addict before "living in the light of the Lord."
The comedian claimed he never raped anyone. "I’ve never engaged in non-consensual activity. I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes," he said in the video. Brand claimed he was "incredibly grateful" he gets to defend himself in court.
