Oscar Winner Kevin Kline, 78, Is Still as Dapper as Can Be on the Red Carpet

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 9:22am

Kevin Kline is one of the most respected actors out there, and he's back on the red carpet.

The Oscar winner, 78, who blew audiences away in the '80s with roles in Sophie's Choice, The Big Chill, The Pirates of Penzance, Cry Freedom, and his Academy Award-winning turn in A Fish Called Wanda, continued his rise to film domination in the '90s with the blockbusters Wild Wild West and In & Out. Also a prominent theater actor, Kline continues to act and earn acclaim in whatever medium he chooses. But we were delighted to see the dapper gentleman hit the red carpet premiere in New York this week of his latest project, American Classic, at The Paley Museum. Dressed in a gray suit, the handsome actor seems to be aging like a fine wine.

Kline Heads Back to Comedy in His New Role

Kline returns to comedy in American Classic, in which he plays Richard Bean, a Broadway star who suffers "a spectacular public meltdown after receiving a terrible review and returns home to the family theater where he first became aware of his own brilliance," according to Deadline. The actor stars with a laundry list of talent in the MGM+ series, including Laura Linney, Jessica Hecht, Tony Shalhoub, and Jon Tenney.

Check out the trailer for American Classic, which premieres on March 1, below:

Kline is Married to Actress Phoebe Cates

Kline is married to beloved actress Phoebe Cates, who first rose to stardom in her red bikini in The Fast Times at Ridgemont High. She later starred in films like Gremlins and Drop Dead Fred, before ditching acting to raise her family. She only returned for rare appearances, like in 2001's The Anniversary Party.

"I was 40-ish, when I finally stopped obsessing about acting and thought it would be nice to have a life and actually got married," Kline told The Guardian in 2014.

The duo has two adult children, Owen and Greta.

Does John Stirling Die in 'Bridgerton' Season 4?

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 9:15am

[WARNING! This article spoils the events of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, now available for streaming on Netflix. Please do not read further if you do not intend to know what happens in Episodes 5-8.]

The one thing on everyone's mind during Bridgerton Season 4 is whether Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and John's (Victor Ali) marriage takes on their tragic novel storyline. Part 2 hinted at tragedy as the Bridgertons were believed to be in mourning, but unsure if it was John's or someone else's death.

Bridgerton fans have watched their love story unfold in the backdrop of two seasons, with Francesca having found peace in her marriage to the Earl of Kilmartin. As Michaela (Misali Baduza) was introduced as a recurring character, it also led to speculation that John might be at death's door. Does Francesca become a widow and follow her novel story? Let's find out.

How does John die in Bridgerton?

It is true, John dies in his sleep in Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2. The upsetting storyline takes place at the end of Episode 6 when Francesca enters their bedroom to wake up John for dinner and sees that he's still in bed, asleep. When she goes to wake him, she realizes he's dead, and Michaela hears her agonized scream.

Before his death, Francesca and John were having marital troubles due to Michaela being at the house and taking his time away from his wife. Francesca also worried that her inability ot produce an heir hindered them. She later tries to find a suitor for Michaela at a party held in her honor, which doens't go well. The two end up hashing out their differences, and Francesca realizes how important she is to John's life and vice versa.

Episode 6 has the three of them place the final piece of a puzzle together when John says he will take a nap before dinner due to a headache. He chalks up the discomfort due to his consistent need in Parliament and heads to their bedroom. It can be assumed that John died from a brain-related issue in his sleep.

According toJulia Quinn, in an author's note of their novel, When He Was Wicked, she confirms that John died of a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. The author explains that the medical diagnosis would have made the most sense in 1824 England, and adds that nothing could have been done to save him.

What happens to Francesca in Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2?

Following John's sudden death, the entire Bridgerton house is in mourning and holds a funeral in his honor. Lady Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) realizes that Francesca is acting strangely and is far too concerned with the layout of biscuits and refreshments. By all accounts, Francesca is having trouble mourning John's death.

It's later revealed in Episode 7 that Francesca is pregnant after her monthly period hasn't arrived for several days. She believes it's John's last parting gift to her. When the solicitor arrives to speak of the estate and title left behind, Francesca has no choice but to reveal her pregnancy. Benedict (Luke Thompson) becomes angered when the solicitor asks for a physical exam to ensure she is with an heir, and while Francesca initially opposes, she agrees.

Surrounded by Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and her mother, Francesca is subjected to the invasive exam and is upset to learn she's not pregnant with an heir. It shatters her glimmering hope of becoming a mother and having a lasting piece of John with her.

As time passes and her family lifts her spirits, Michaela suggests a party to celebrate John's life. Bridgerton Season 4 ends with Francesca finally appearing happy since his death and surrounded by people she loves. It also sparks a growing connection between her and Michaela. Once again, Francesca is heartbroken when she learns Michaela has packed her bags and left despite her having agreed to stay in London at Francesca's request.

Protesters Line Up Outside 'Scream 7's Official Premiere Amidst Melissa Barrera Controversy

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 9:08am

As nationwide audiences prepare for the theatrical release of the highly anticipated Scream 7, several groups of protestors gathered outside the movie's premiere, calling for a general boycott of the movie and the studio that produced it.

According to Variety, roughly 25 demonstrators positioned themselves outside the Scream 7 premiere at Los Angeles' Paramount Studios lot. Equipped with flags, signs and bullhorns, the crowd shouted such rallying cries as "Paramount, Paramount, what do you say?” and “Palestine will live forever!”

The protest itself directly ties into the controversial dismissal of Scream 7's original star Melissa Barrera, the actress who made headlines with her pivotal roles in 2022's Scream and 2023's Scream VI.

In 2023, Barrera found herself thrust in the center of controversy when she made a public Instagram post commenting on the war in Gaza, accusing Israel of "genocide and ethnic cleansing." In response, Scream's producers at Spyglass Media Group fired her from the franchise, deeming her posts to be antisemitic in nature.

“Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech,” a Spyglass representative said at the time.

As a result of Barrera's termination and the ensuing exit of costar Jenna Ortega, Scream 7 was rewritten to focus once again on Neve Campbell's long-running protagonist Sydney Prescott. After a significant reshuffling of the cast and crew involved in the project, Scream's original writer, Kevin Williamson, stepped up to serve as the movie's replacement director.

Commenting on the protestors' presence at the Scream 7 premiere, Williamson said, “We live in a world where a lot of bad things are happening out there, and I think a lot of people want to be heard and they want to have their voice heard about the bad stuff that’s happening."

“My heart goes out to them," the director continued. "I don’t know if canceling Paramount+ is the way to do it. But I think people should listen to their inner self and do what feels good for them.”

This Budget-Friendly Cruise Line Is Finally Heading to Grand Turk in 2027

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 9:07am

If you’ve ever wanted to visit the legendary turquoise waters of Grand Turk without committing to a massive seven-night voyage (or the massive price tag that comes with it), your 2027 travel plans just got a lot more interesting.

While the 1,680-passenger Margaritaville at Sea Paradisehas spent the last few years perfecting the "quick Bahamas sprint," the line has officially announced it is adding the Turks and Caicos to its permanent rotation for the first time.

This move is a "first-of-its-kind" for a ship that has historically been tethered to the closest possible Florida-adjacent ports like Nassau and Grand Bahama. By adding Grand Turk to the 2027 schedule, the line is opening up a world-class diving and snorkeling destination—famed for its "wall" dive sites and pristine white sands—to a much broader, budget-conscious audience. It’s a rare chance to experience a "deep Caribbean" feel on a ship that travelers usually associate with easy weekend getaways.

The 2027 expansion is also bringing the Paradise to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic for the first time, adding another sophisticated layer to its itinerary. To make these further-flung tropical stops possible, the line is introducing new five-night "Celebration Sailings" for holidays like Halloween and Dia de los Muertos. These extended trips provide the perfect sweet spot for travelers who want more than a weekend but aren't ready for a full week at sea.

Even with these new horizons, the ship isn't leaving its "no worries" roots behind. The 2027 calendar will still feature a surge in departures for Key West and the introduction of new three- and four-night trips to Bimini in the Bahamas. Whether you’re looking to be among the first to sail this specific ship into the Turks and Caicos or you're just hunting for the ultimate Caribbean shortcut, the 2027 season is officially the biggest destination "glow-up" the brand has ever seen.

Wynonna Judd Says She Refused to Be ‘Prissy’ Like Mom Naomi

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:57am

Staying true to herself. Wynonna Judd opened up about her life in the public eye, specifically during her years performing with mom Naomi Judd as The Judds.

In a live interview in Nashville, Tennessee, with Bunnie Xo, Wynonna, 61, was asked if she ever had to change anything about herself for branding.

“No one has ever asked me to change anything [about myself]. And I’m not going to say this because I’m full of myself — I’m going to say it because I’m a unique individual who strived to be different than my mother,” she explained.

“I had to think differently because I was, and I think the only thing someone has ever asked me to do is to change my appearance when it came to wearing dresses on stage. They wanted me to be prissy like her, and I thought no, I’m a tomboy,” Wynonna added, confirming that she took a stand and wore “suits” instead.

Over the years, Wynonna has been very transparent about her difficult relationship with Naomi, who often criticized her daughter’s appearance.

“[My mom] was 36 years old, she was ready to be [on] fire. As the kids would say today, she had drip. She was foxy. But then, I was so aggravated by her sexuality,” Wynonna recalled during Lifetime’s two-night docuseries The Judd Family: Truth Be Told.

“Mom was very hard on me. She was terrified of losing me, of course, but she never would say it that way," Wynonna added. "It was always, ‘Well, if you lost 20 pounds, you could be a pop star.'"

Naomi died by suicide on April 30, 2022, at 76 years old.

If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide or struggling with suicidal thoughts, help is available 24 hours a day through the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Fans Rally Around Food Network Star After 'No Work' Stretch Extends to 20 Months

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:52am

Food Network host Noah Cappe has revisited a difficult chapter in his career—and quietly changed one number.

In August 2025, Cappe shared a candid Instagram video revealing that he had not had any shows, judging opportunities or network work in “over 14 months” following the cancellations of Carnival Eats and Best Bite in Town.

RELATED: Guy Fieri Brings Flavortown to TV for the First Time Ever With New Competition Series

Now, in a new Instagram Story posted Feb. 24, 2026, Cappe reposted a screenshot of that Parade article—but with one notable change.

The “14” in the headline was crossed out and replaced with “20.”

Instagram

The subtle edit signaled that the dry spell he previously described has stretched to 20 months.

Cappe originally explained that Carnival Eats had been canceled and that Best Bite in Town—a Food Network series executive-produced by Guy Fieri—had also ended as cable networks navigated the transition to streaming. He also cited major ownership changes in Canada between Corus and Rogers that left him feeling “lost in the mix.”

RELATED: ‘Tournament of Champions’ Season 7 Bracket Revealed: Here Are the Official Matchups

“Food Network in the U.S., on the U.S. end, things got super quiet too, and nobody called and nobody messaged,” Cappe said at the time. “After having a show for a decade on the network, I figured it would transition into other opportunities, but I haven’t even judged an episode of something.”

The update sparked a new wave of support in his comments section.

“You are greatly missed ❀ You deserve all the good things, Noah,” one follower wrote.

Another urged the network directly: “Come on, Food Network, don’t get cute now! This man helped build this network!”

RELATED: Fans Think Bobby Flay Is One of ‘Tournament of Champions’ Season 7’s Secret Icons

“We watch Carnival Eats every night with our preschooler!!! ❀,” added another fan.

Food Network personality Joe Sasto, who is currently competing on Tournament of Champions, also chimed in with encouragement.

“You’re one of the best people to work with AND to watch. The host with the most! Thank you for sharing,” Sasto wrote.

The renewed attention comes as Cappe confirmed at least one upcoming booking. Newfoundland’s culinary festival Roots, Rants & Roars announced that he will return as host for its September 18 and 19, 2026 event in Elliston, NL.

RELATED: All the Chefs Competing in ‘Tournament of Champions VII’

While a two-day festival appearance is not the steady television work Cappe previously described hoping for, fans were quick to celebrate the news and continue advocating for his return to the network.

Cappe’s Food Network tenure included nearly a decade hosting Carnival Eats, along with one season of Best Bite in Town in 2024, where he assembled a rotating “Bite Club” of chefs including Sasto, Shota Nakajima, Aarti Sequeira, Jet Tila and Tiffani Faison, to search for standout dishes across America.

Despite the splashy debut and Guy Fieri’s public endorsement at launch, the series has not returned for another season. Since then, Fieri’s Food Network presence has only grown, with new competition series like Flavortown Food Fight joining stalwarts such as Tournament of Champions, Guy’s Grocery Games and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the network’s lineup.

For now, supporters appear determined to keep his name in the conversation.

“We love Noah CAPPE,” one commenter wrote simply.

Jennifer Garner Reveals Why She Won’t ‘Promise’ Her Kids She’ll ‘Never Get a Facelift’

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:34am

Plastic surgery is hardly uncommon in Hollywood. That said, not all of your favorite celebrities are willing to talk about it. Jennifer Garner, however, is no such celebrity.

Speaking with Kylie Kelce during the Thursday, February 26, of her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, Garner, 53, opened up about cosmetic procedures she’s done thus far, and the possibility of her going under the knife in the future.

“Of course, I've tried Botox and all that, but it takes very little to completely freeze my forehead,” the Can’t Go Home actress revealed. “And then I just feel so conspicuous, like I've got a walking billboard. I might as well get a tattoo of something, you know, across it. It's horrible. So, no, the Botox in the forehead, unfortunately, is not for me.”

Jennifer Garner attends a photocall for Season 2 of ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ at Claridge’s Hotel on February 20, 2026, in London, England. Season 2 is now streaming on Apple TV+. (Photo by Alan Chapman/Dave Benett/Getty Images for Apple TV+)

With Botox out of the equation, what does Garner do? “I do, I have creasy wrinkles, and I'm just they're gonna have to just be there,” she explained. “So sometimes I get bangs.”

As for taking more drastic anti-aging measures, Garner isn’t ruling it out, but her kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, whom she shares with ex-husbandBen Affleck, wish she would.

“My kids are like, ‘Mom, promise us you'll never get a facelift.’ And I say, ‘I am unlikely to rush toward a facelift,’ ” Garner admitted. “And yet I refuse to make that promise because I am me today, and I don't know how I'm gonna feel.”

At the end of the day, Garner holds no judgments when it comes to plastic surgery. “I also think that anyone who wants to do whatever they wanna do, they look beautiful. They look beautiful,” she assured.

Netflix Devastates Fans By Canceling 'Terminator Zero' Spinoff Series After Just One Season

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:31am

Roughly a year and a half after its official debut on Netflix, the sci-fi TV series Terminator Zero has officially been canceled by the streaming provider following its first and only season.

As fans of the franchise are sure to know, Terminator Zero acted as a direct spinoff of James Cameron's larger Terminator series, featuring a central story set within the bounds of the director's sci-fi universe.

Despite receiving an altogether warm response from fans and critics alike, Netflix has decided not to move forward with any future installments in the adult animated series, concluding Terminator Zero with a mere single season on the platform.

As to the exact reason why the series was canceled, Terminator Zero's creator Mattson Tomlin confirmed that the show's viewership numbers weren't strong enough to justify another season.

"The critical and audience reception to it was tremendous, but at the end of the day not nearly enough people watched it," Tomlin wrote on X. "I would’ve loved to deliver on the Future War I had planned in season’s 2 and 3, but I’m also very happy with how it feels contained as is."

Interestingly, Tomlin claimed that Netflix did offer him a chance to produce a handful of more episodes to wrap up Terminator Zero's narrative. However, Tomlin politely declined, believing that only a few short episodes of material wasn't enough to properly end the story he wanted to tell.

"I’ll also say they offered to let me do 2, maybe 3 episodes more to wrap up the story, which I declined," Tomlin said in a separate X post. "I felt the story I wanted to tell was much longer, and the finale of season one actually left things in a good place. But they didn’t have to offer that. Good partners here."

'Bridgerton' Season 4 Ending Explained: Does Benedict Marry Sophie?

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:29am

[WARNING! This article spoils the events of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, now available for streaming on Netflix. Please do not read further if you do not intend to know what happens in Episodes 5-8.]

Bridgerton Season 4 has come to an end, revealing how Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie's (Yerin Ha) love story unfolds by the end of Part 2. Fans have watched their complicated relationship between a high-standing man of society and a maid, with the season finally reaching its pinnacle.

Before heading into Part 2, Benedict asked Sophie to be his mistress and was dismayed by her rejection. The new episodes now deal with the reality of Sophie's decision, Benedict's inescapable love for her, and its implications for his family's social standing. Bridgerton fans will find themselves on the edge of their seats as Sophie's past catches up with her, and whether Benedict will follow what he truly desires and risk his family.

Does Benedict end up marrying Sophie?

Yes! Fans will be delighted to know that Benedict does man up and ultimately takes Sophie as his bride, having fallen head over heels for her.

For the rest of Part 2, Benedict tries to make sense of his love for Sophie and her rejection to be his mistress, as his mother also realizes where his heart is leading him. Things take a grand turn with the return of Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), who chastises his brother for his secret romance, claiming it cannot be done and will cost their family if he decides to be with Sophie.

Later on in Episode 6, it's revealed that Lady Bridgerton (Emma Gemmell) does write Sophie a letter of recommendation at her request. While not wanting to part with Sophie, she, too, realizes her relationship with Benedict will not be accepted, even more so, learning that Lady Araminta (Katie Leung) is hellbent on finding her. Lady Bridgerton sadly urges Sophie to leave for her own safety. While meeting in secret, Benedict learns the truth about Sophie's backstory and her reasoning for not wanting to be a mistress.

Sophie is later heartbroken when overhearing Anthony tell his brother the truth. If they were to have a family, the children would not be accepted in their home or society. By Episode 7, Sophie has informed Benedict she is leaving for a new position, which he reluctantly accepts for her sake. To Sophie's dismay, the position back at Penwood house was fulfilled and is informed of a family needing a maid as they travel to the Americas.

After a family tragedy, Lady Bridgerton sees the error of her ways and reaffirms her stance on love and tells her son to follow his heart. As Sophie is ready to leave the family behind, Posy (Isabella Wei) is tricked into telling her mother where Sophie is and her plans to leave. Sophie is ultimately arrested outside the Bridgerton house by Lady Araminta and a constable, as Benedict ventures off to find her after his mother leaves him a ring to propose with.

Unable to find her, Benedict and Lady Bridgerton are informed the next day by the housemaid that she was arrested, and they venture off to save her. They interrupt the court proceedings and testify on Sophie's behalf against Lady Araminta's claims of theft and take her home. Before rescuing her, Benedict had also uncovered the truth about the Lady in Silver after finding Sophie's necklace, which happens to match the one he had drawn on his mysterious woman.

Benedict confronts Sophie about her secret, but is not entirely angered and believes that her love for him might not have been enoughto tell him the truth. In hopes of saving herself, Sophie enlists the help of Eloise (Claudia Jessie) to get into Penwood house and uncovers her father's will.

It reveals she was given a dowry, and Lady Araminta was receiving extra pay for housing her all those years. To save her name and become legitimate to marry, the Bridgertons and Mondrichs devise a plan. At the Queen's (Golda Rosheuvel) ball, they confront Lady Araminta about her lies, and the truth is revealed about stealing the dowry. To save face, they barter a deal to tell a fabricated/true story of Sophie's legitimacy as the Queen interrupts as part of the bigger plan. Lady Araminta has no choice but to play along, and the Queen accepts Sophie as a suitable match.

Where does Part 2 end?

Netflix

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 ends on a happy note for some of the main characters. While at the Queen's ball and Sophie being officially accepted into society, Benedict asks her to marry him in front of the ton. She gleefully accepts as they have their first official dance as a public couple. The Queen has also come to terms with Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) moving on with her life to explore the world, but admits she will miss her friend terribly.

Meanwhile, Posy also finds herself a suitor after the downfall of her mother and her sister no longer being engaged. Once Rasmund's (Michelle Mao) suitor was informed of her lackluster dowry, he ended the engagement. Meanwhile, Lady Bridgerton becomes heartbroken when telling Lord Anderson (Daniel Francis) the truth of wanting some independence after realizing she has been a wife and mother for so long. To her dismay, Lord Anderson believes she can no longer see a marriage to him in her future.

All is well by the end, as Bridgerton Season 4 has a post-credit scene. The scene is of Benedict and Sophie's wedding, with everyone in attendance at the cottage. The fourth season ends with a painted portrait of Sophie as the Lady in Silver, painted by Benedict.

Doritos new protein line is finally ready to be released.

Earlier this season, the cult-favorite snack brand revealed it would be stepping into completely new territory with its first-ever protein-packed chips. Now, two months later, Parade is told the new Doritos Protein is debuting in more than one flavor and they're both less than one week away from landing on shelves nationwide.

The innovation comes as PepsiCo Foods (the parent company of Doritos) seeks to evolve and expand its portfolio to align with consumer preferences, which it notes have recently shifted toward "foods with functional ingredients." And of those ingredients, protein is certainly having a moment. In the last six months alone, we've seen the rise of Starbucks Protein Cold Foam Coffee, Kraft Protein Cheese, Dunkin's "Protein Milk", and even protein-fortified popcorn.

"Seventy percent of consumers want their salty snacks to have protein," Hernån Tantardini, chief marketing officer at PepsiCo Foods U.S., explained in a Feb. 26 statement. "Now we are making it more accessible and seamlessly integrated into everyday snacking occasions without compromising the distinctive Doritos experience."

Doritos Officially Launches Its New Protein Line in 2 "Bold" Flavors

According to Thursday's announcement, Doritos Protein is debuting in two "bold" and familiar flavors: Nacho Cheese and Sweet & Tangy BBQ.

The company said its new chips source their protein from casein, a complete protein that makes up the majority of the protein in dairy products and is known for its slow digestion, which can keep consumers fuller longer.

Along with the two flavors, consumers will have two protein options to choose from. The first to launch are Doritos Protein Chips that offer 10 grams of protein per one-ounce serving—significantly more than the whopping 2 grams found in the original recipe. Then, later this year, the company said shoppers can expect to find the same flavor variety available in packages that contain 17 grams of protein per one-ounce serving.

Like its recently released Doritos Simply NKD line, the new Doritos Protein is free from artificial colors and flavors and promises to preserve the "bold, cheese‑forward flavor" its original Doritos line is known for. In other words, the company suggests there should be no noticeable taste difference between Doritos Protein and the original Doritos, since the newcomers are meant for daily snackers and Doritos fans looking to boost their protein intake.

"Doritos is synonymous with bold flavor and iconic crunch – two attributes that our fans know and love. When we set out to create this product, we wanted to ensure we were delivering that unmistakable snacking experience, but in a new way with the added benefit of protein," Jess Spaulding, vice president of marketing, PepsiCo Foods U.S., shared. "As consumer desires shift, we’re showing that Doritos is a brand that can evolve and expand with those desires, offering consumers the best of both worlds – delicious taste, as well as new ingredients with functional benefits."

Doritos Protein Nacho Cheese (L), Sweet & Tangy BBQ (R).

PepsiCo Foods/Doritos

Just to be clear, neither the Doritos Simply NKD nor the Protein Doritos lines are replacing the original chip that started it all. This is a true expansion, with the brand revealing that the new Doritos Protein (in both Nacho Cheese and Sweet & Tangy BBQ flavors) will hit store shelves in just a few days

"The launch of Doritos Protein marks our strategic expansion into the protein snack category. We’re elevating the bold flavor and signature snacking experience consumers expect by using novel flavor and seasoning methods," Tantardini added.

According to the official annoucnement, the new protein-packed snacks will be available at select retailers across the U.S. beginning in March. PepsiCo Foods said the new line will continue to roll out elsewhere later this year (prices may vary).

What are your thoughts on the new line? Will you be grabbing them as soon as you see them out, or are you sick of the high-protein trend? Let us know in the comments!

I Often Travel with My 80-Year-Old Mom and Teens—Here’s the One Thing I Always Do Differently

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 8:03am

Multigenerational travel is booming and my family is part of the movement. I prioritize traveling with my 12-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter and 80-year-old mom often. Since she lives in Chicago and we live in New York City, it’s incredibly important for me to plan trips for us to spend quality time together.

I’m keenly aware that carving out time to bond and create lifelong memories is truly priceless—and meaningful for everyone involved. There’s something undeniably special, almost magical, about discovering a new place alongside your mom and your children.

Thankfully, we’ve been fortunate to share many unforgettable experiences together. From getting soaked in a torrential rainstorm and running for cover to singing in unison to Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” around the kitchen table, the memories and laughs we’ve made while traveling together are precious and irreplaceable.

Now that I have a tween and teen, the way we travel has changed. While they’ve become more independent and self-sufficient, the opposite has become true for my mom. While she’s still energetic and always up for a fun adventure, her mobility has declined. So, we must plan accordingly to ensure that she still has a blast and doesn't miss a beat while making sure the kids’ fun isn’t compromised.

Here are 10 tips for traveling with seniors and teens to make your next multi-gen trip a success.

The author with her mom, daughter, and son, during a trip to Orlando in 2025. 1. Pick a destination that everyone will enjoy

First thing’s first, choosing a place that everyone can agree on is the most crucial part of your trip. While it may create a lot of time, research, and energy, it requires everyone’s input. Plus, all the effort will pay off. No matter if you choose a balmy, beach destination or a cozy cabin in the woods, just make sure that everyone is excited and pleased with the selection before it’s set in stone.

2. Discuss the trip’s objective

Before hitting the road or booking a flight, it’s important to discuss the trip’s objective. Is the goal to take it easy and simply spend time together or get out and explore the destination? Getting everyone on the same page is paramount to ensuring everyone has a good time. Set those objectives before you get there and you’ll have a seamless experience.

3. Stay in a multi-room villa or multi-room suite

Whether you’re going to Orlando to hit the theme parks or want to escape to a Caribbean island, where you stay matters. Booking a multi-room villa like Evermore or multi-room suite is key for optimal comfort. Having more space sets the foundation for family fun where you can spread out and fully enjoy each other’s company. Plus, they typically offer full kitchens, which promote even more togetherness. Additionally, it’s often more cost-effective compared to multiple hotel rooms.

4. Bring snacks onboard

Tweens and teens are always hungry. It doesn’t matter if they’re sitting on the couch at home or cruising in a cabin at 30,000 feet, their seemingly bottomless stomachs never take a break. That’s why I always pack their favorite snacks whenever we travel. Candy bars, chips, and dried fruit are lifesavers—whether they sleep through the in-flight snack service or need something to tide them over at the hotel, where the pricey minibar treats aren't an option. Plus, my mom is always looking for a sweet or savory nibble too.

5. Take it easy the first day

Regardless of the distance, travel days are always exhausting. I tend to keep our itinerary free from any major activities or plans on the day of our arrival. That way, jet lag, crankiness, and just the stress from traveling can get out of everyone’s system so you can be fully recharged and ready to seize and maximize the second day.

6. Pack a backpack

No matter where your trip takes you, bringing a backpack is always a good idea. I never travel without one simply because it can hold so many essentials. Whether you need to carry your teens’ trendy water bottles, pack your mom’s portable fan, or store a change of shoes, a trusty backpack comes in handy for hauling your stuff. Plus, it keeps you hands-free and gives your shoulders a break.

7. Plan group and individual activities

Families that travel together, don't have to stay together (the entire time). Of course, group outings are a given, but there will be some things that won’t be feasible or appeal to certain members of your group. That’s why you’ll want to plan some individual activities to keep everyone happy. For example, when my kids and I visited Universal Studios, my mom stayed behind at our villa and spent the day lounging by the pool. She knew that visiting a theme park wasn’t of interest, so she enjoyed her privacy and indulged in some much-needed downtime.

8. Keep mobility and physical limitations in mind

Let’s face it, traveling with teens and seniors can be tricky. While most young people have the energy and speed of a hare, many elders’ pace is more on the tortoise side. Striking a balance is essential to ensuring everyone keeps up and nobody gets left behind. To keep things moving, rent, or bring the proper equipment for those who may need assistance with walking. Also, be mindful of the places you’re planning to visit and their accessibility. I always research the spots beforehand to ensure they’re fully accessible and can meet my mother’s needs.

9. Manage expectations

Whenever you’re traveling with a group, chances are someone will be disappointed at some point during the trip. While it isn’t completely unavoidable, you can keep the disappointment at bay by managing expectations. Let the group know upfront what they can expect from the trip, but express that there might be a change of plans or hiccups along the way. Stress the fact that things can happen that are outside of anyone’s control and that making the most of the trip is what matters.

10. Capture the memories

No trip is complete without capturing the time spent together. Be sure to take tons of photos and videos so that you can look back and relive the moments that made your trip so special. Also, be sure to pack a portable tripod to take group shots with a wireless remote or set your smartphone’s camera to countdown for the perfect pic.

Andy Cohen Confronts Lisa Rinna on 'WWHL' for Literally Burning His Book

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:59am

Never expose a Houswife's text messages unless you are ready for retaliation. That's what Bravo's Andy Cohen learned after he exposed Lisa Rinna's messages in his memoir The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up because she didn't just get angry, she set his book ablaze in her fireplace.

In his memoir, Cohen shared late-night text messages from Rinna as she debated quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after season 12 and her future on the series. At the time, Rinna called Cohen’s book "shady" and "sketchy," saying including her messages was "unnecessary."

In what could have been a heated moment on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Cohen confronted Rinna, who was his guest, about her bonfire of the Daddy.

"You write in the book about my publishing a couple of text messages that really pissed you off," he said to Rinna, referring to the reveal in her memoir, You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It. "Messages from you that I put in my book, The Daddy Diaries, pissed you off so much that you burned my book in your fireplace."

As she smiled and nodded, he recounted how he had apologized to her at The Traitorsreunion for revealing the messages. "And you apologized to me in that moment, and it meant the world," Rinna replied.

"Well, because I've had that done to me," Cohen said. "And I didn't like it, and I had all these reasons for doing it and then when I really thought about it, I was like, 'Oh, wait. You got to apologize.' So I'm sorry."

Of course, though, Cohen couldn't help but throw a tiny bit of shade, calling Rinna "extra" for burning his book. She agreed, sharing that the book "burned easily" and "it was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames," she said, adding that it's an honor to burn his book.

As this year’s honoree, Williams will appear in an exclusive live conversation for convention guests and participate in a limited photo opportunity available to select pass holders.

As her new show The CEO Club debuted this week, the former World No. 1 recently opened up about parallels between training in a professional sport and transitioning from that realm to the world of entrepreneurs.

“As a CEO, you don’t win everything," she told The Associated Press. "You have to make really hard decisions. Just like in sport and in tennis, you have to show up every day."

This 1983 Chart-Topper Didn’t Just Hit No. 1 — It Redefined Global Pop

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:43am

On Feb. 26, 1983, a genre-blending album quietly reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts—and then refused to let go. Thriller, the groundbreaking release from Michael Jackson, didn’t just dominate sales; it reshaped the sound and spectacle of pop, turned music videos into must-see events, and set records that continue to define the industry more than four decades later.

According to American Songwriter, Jackson's Thriller album found itself on top of Billboard‘s Top LPs & Tapes chart on this day in history—43 years ago. The album broke a record with 37 weeks at No. 1 (non-consecutive).

The album was so successful, in fact, that it's widely considered the best-selling album of all time. It featured several of Jackson's early hits, including "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin,'" "Thriller," "Beat It," "P.Y.T." and "Billie Jean."

And while many of Jackson's Thriller singles have reached more than 1 billion views on YouTube, the album's title track has influenced the dance world with its iconic routine. Of course, the video is more like a short-film and is easily one of the best music videos of all time.

In August 2021, Jackson's Thriller earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling album of all time—in the world.

"Sales figures vary wildly from source to source, but it is estimated that the album – featuring seven US Top 10 singles – has sold in excess of 67 million copies across the globe. On 20 August 2021, Thriller was certified for shipments of 34 million units by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), extending its lead as the best-selling album by a solo artist in Jackson's homeland," reads an excerpt from the Guinness Book of World Records website.

Thriller wasn't Jackson's first album, though it is clearly his most popular. He released Got To Be There in 1972 and would release nine additional solo albums (including Thriller) before his tragic death in June 2009.
