Savannah Guthrie Mom: Rumored Crack in Case Appears Untrue as Family Prepares for Next Step

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:19pm

For the past 26 days, the Guthrie family has been in shambles, wondering what happened to their mother, Nancy Guthrie, whom authorities believe may have been abducted from her home in Arizona.

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, social media was buzzing with rumors that there'd been a crack in the case after Savannah Guthrie announced that her family was putting up a $1 million reward for the return of her mom. Despite a lot of activity at Nancy's home during the day, neither the Pima County Sheriff's Department nor the FBI shared any major updates in the case.

"At the moment there is no indication of a case cracker tip in the Guthrie case. Both agencies are still accepting tips and leads," Fox News' Matt Finn wrote on X on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Finn reported that the activity at Nancy's home on Wednesday was part of a process to turn the house back over to the family. NBC News has reported the same information.

"Officials acknowledged that law enforcement no longer sees the need to seal the premises as a crime scene or restrict the family from entering," NBC News reports.

This seems to match up with the Pima County Sheriff's Department latest move to implement a parking ban, which went into effect today.

Nancy, 84, has been missing since February 1. Her current whereabouts are unclear, though authorities maintain that the case is far from going cold. Sheriff Chris Nanos has said that the investigation will continue as long as there are tips coming in.

“Maybe it’s an hour from now. Maybe it’s weeks or months or years from now. But we won’t quit. We’re going to find Nancy. We’re going to find this guy," Nanos told The New York Timesin an interview that was published on Feb. 13. "It’s exhausting, these ups and downs, but we will keep moving forward."

Following Savannah's emotional social media video in which she announced the $1 million reward, the FBI has received hundreds of tips, according to Today.

49 Years Ago Today, One of the ‘Greatest Albums of All Time’ Debuted on the Billboard 200

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:17pm

On this day in 1977, one of the greatest albums of all time officially began its chart run.

On February 26, 1977, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 — the first step in what would become one of the most extraordinary commercial and cultural runs in music history.

At the time, the band was unraveling behind the scenes. Two couples within the group—John and Christine McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks—had split during the album’s recording sessions. The emotional fallout didn’t derail the project. It fueled it.

With Rumours, Fleetwood Mac turned private turmoil into polished, radio-ready confessionals that resonated worldwide. Songs like “Go Your Own Way,” “Dreams,” “Don’t Stop,” “The Chain,” “Gold Dust Woman,” “You Make Loving Fun” and “Songbird” transformed heartbreak into harmony.

The album didn’t just climb the charts—it dominated them. Rumours went on to top the Billboard 200 in the U.S. for 31 weeks and became Fleetwood Mac’s first No. 1 album in the U.K., while also reaching No. 1 in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands and South Africa.

Within a month of release, it had already sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

In the United States, the Recording Industry Association of America certified Rumours Diamond for 20× platinum—20 million copies shipped—making it the eighth-highest certified album in U.S. history as of 2026.

Critics were just as emphatic. All three major U.S. trade publications—Billboard, Cash Box and Record World—named it Album of the Year for 1977. In 1978, co-producers Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The record was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003.

Rolling Stone ranked Rumours No. 7 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” cementing its reputation as not just a commercial juggernaut, but a canonical work of rock history.

RELATED: 1991 Hit Ranked No. 1 ‘Greatest One-Hit Wonder’ of All Time

The making of the album was famously intense. As John McVie later told Rolling Stone of the sessions, “Parties going on all over the house. Amazing. Terrifying. Huge amounts of illicit materials, yards and yards of this wretched stuff. Days and nights would just go on and on.”

That volatile atmosphere bled directly into the music. Stevie Nicks wrote “Dreams” in roughly 10 minutes while sitting on a black velvet bed in a small room at the Record Plant studio. Buckingham and Nicks approached their breakup from opposite emotional angles in “Go Your Own Way” and “Dreams,” yet the songs functioned like two sides of the same confession.

Even decades later, the album refuses to fade. In 2018, Rumours was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or artistically significant.”

In 2020, the album surged back into the Billboard 200 Top 10 after a viral TikTok from Nathan Apodaca featured him skateboarding while “Dreams” played—prompting both Mick Fleetwood and Nicks to post their own versions.

Reflecting on its impact, Fleetwood once called Rumours “the most important album we ever made,” noting that its success allowed the band to continue recording for years to come.

Forty-nine years after its Billboard debut, the album’s emotional fractures, immaculate production and timeless songwriting still sound startlingly alive.

Some records define an era. Rumours defined several.

Qantas Airways Unveils First-Ever Direct Flight From Sin City to Sydney

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:15pm

In a major milestone for international travel, Qantas has unveiled the first-ever nonstop scheduled service between Sydney Airport (SYD) in Australia and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, linking two iconic destinations without any layovers. The groundbreaking route slashes hours off traditional one-stop itineraries and marks the first time Australia and Las Vegas will be directly connected by scheduled nonstop flights.

The new seasonal service—which marks the 101st destination on the Qantas international network and the airline's eighth city across the Americas—will kick off on December 29th, 2026, and it run through to March 2027. Already available for booking, the service will operate during some of the city's major events and expos, like CES and the Rugby League Las Vegas Festival, which is huge amongst Australian and international sports fans.

The new route will operate on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft—known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort on ultra-long-haul routes—three times per week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

According to Qantas' published schedule, QF55 will depart Sydney at around 9 p.m. and touch down in Las Vegas the same day in mid-afternoon. Meanwhile, QF56 will make the return journey in the evening, arriving in Sydney two days later due to the time difference. Total flight times are expected to range from nearly 14 hours westbound to just over 15 hours eastbound, which is impressive for a nonstop Pacific crossing that previously required layovers in U.S. gateway hubs like Los Angeles or San Francisco. The new service shaves up to five hours off the journey.

From neon skylines to sun-drenched harbors, both endpoints of this new route deliver wildly different but equally compelling travel experiences. In Las Vegas, travelers land steps from the iconic Strip, where world-class resorts, Michelin-recognized dining, headline residencies, and 24/7 entertainment define the city's energy, while natural wonders like Red Rock Canyon and the Grand Canyon sit within easy reach of Harry Reid International Airport.

Meanwhile, Sydney offers a striking contrast: Golden beaches like Bondi, the sail-shaped Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and a café culture that spills into coastal neighborhoods. Outdoor adventures abound, from coastal cliff walks to harbor cruises, while nearby wine regions and the Blue Mountains make for easy escapes.

Together, the two cities pair high-octane nightlife with unparalleled natural landscapes, giving travelers the best of both worlds in one nonstop journey. Local tourism officials emphasize the route's broader economic impact, as well. Las Vegas has long been a magnet for Australian visitors, and direct flights are expected to strengthen travel flows, enhance business ties, and support international event attendance, all while giving Qantas a competitive edge in long-haul connectivity.

Shia LaBeouf Released on $100,000 Bond After Arrest, Ordered to Go to Rehab

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:14pm

Shia LaBeouf has been released following his Feb. 17 arrest in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As conditions of his release, the Transformers actor was ordered to enroll in substance abuse treatment, undergo drug testing, and post a $100,000 bond, according to People.

He was also ordered to stay away from the alleged victims and the area where the incident occurred.

LaBeouf was first taken into custody on two counts of misdemeanor battery following an alleged altercation outside a business on Royal Street during Mardi Gras.

A few hours after his arrest, the actor was released on his own recognizance, meaning he did not have to pay bail at the time. However, during a hearing on Thursday, Feb. 26, the judge revoked his initial release and set bond at $100,000, which he posted the same day.

According to The Guardian, Judge Simone Levine said that allegations the actor had used homophobic slurs during the altercation were not yet reflected in the official court record when he was initially released.

Judge Levine also said she was most concerned about the potential danger LaBeouf posed to the victims, as well as the broader New Orleans community. She noted the actor posed a particular threat to a “marginalized community” that has already faced enough “terror.”

RELATED: New Details Emerge in Shia LaBeouf’s Arrest

In a statement provided to People on Feb. 17, the New Orleans Police Department alleged that LaBeouf was arrested after punching two men and causing a disturbance.

“Investigators say a man identified as 39-year-old Shia LaBeouf was reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive at a Royal Street business,” police told the outlet at the time. “A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment. Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf who used his closed fists on the victim several times.”

“The victims reported that LaBeouf left, but then came back, acting even more aggressive,” the statement continued. “Multiple people attempted to hold him down—he was eventually let up in hopes that he would leave-—but he reportedly again struck the same victim with closed fists to the victim’s upper body. LaBeouf then reportedly assaulted another person-punching him in the nose.”

“LaBeouf was again held down until police arrived,” the statement concluded. “He was taken to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Upon release, he was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery.”

RELATED: Shia LaBeouf Arrested After Mardi Gras Brawl

According to The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf was spotted in multiple drinking establishments in New Orleans leading up to the incident, with multiple eyewitnesses providing accounts of alleged bad behavior.

One account described the actor as being in an “inebriated” state and “somewhat belligerent.” LaBeouf was also accused of asking bar patrons “Do you know who I am?” before posing for a photo with fans.

In August 2022, LaBeouf claimed to be 627 days sober, referring to this period of sobriety as his “great humbling.”

LaBeouf has previously been to rehab and has been arrested in the past in relation to alcohol, including a 2017 arrest for public intoxication. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 19.

'Sex and the City' Writer Reveals Hilarious Real Story Behind Learning Annex Episode

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:06pm

Just because they wrote about love and dating didn’t mean they had it all figured out. Sex and the City writer Jenny Bicks recently revealed that she and her fellow writers were constantly asked for real-life relationship advice simply because they worked on the iconic series — despite not considering themselves experts.

The requests became so frequent, in fact, that they ultimately inspired the Season 3 episode “Frenemies.” In the episode, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) hosts a “How to Find Love” seminar called Bright Lights, Date City, which quickly turns into a fiasco when she realizes she has no concrete advice to give.

"We would talk a lot in the room about how, and I'm sure this happened for you too, that when you write or appear on a show like Sex and the City, people assume that you know a lot about relationships. So people would come to us as writers and be like, what do I do about this?" Bicks shared with Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York Goldenblatt on Sex and the City, during an appearance on Davis’ Are You a Charlotte? podcast.

“And we're like, do you understand we're writing about the situations we're in. Like, we were all definitely single; none of us could keep a relationship going. So the idea that people saw us as experts was hilarious to us. And so we wanted to take that and really literally put it up on stage,” she recalled.

As a result, the Learning Annex storyline was born, inspired by the slew of questions writers would often get. “I don't think any one of us were asked specifically to do a Learning Annex about being single, but occasionally we would do panels and things like that," Bicks recalled. "We would get these questions, and we were like, we don't know...that's why we write about it!"

The entire Sex and the City series is currently streaming on Max and Netflix.

Apple and Netflix Team Up to Stream the Same Events for This Red-Hot Sport

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 2:04pm

Formula 1 seems to be everywhere these days, from its recent Las Vegas event to the fast-approaching Oscars.

To keep the sport's momentum going, Apple and Netflix are teaming up in a surprise deal for select Formula 1 programming, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The deal will include Netflix simulcasting the F1 Canadian Grand Prix May 22-24 in addition to Apple TV, with the latter getting streaming rights to season 8 of the hit racing show Drive to Survive alongside Netflix.

View this post on Instagram

“Netflix, I think, has played a pivotal role in growing F1 since the launch of Drive to Survive, and we’re thrilled to make F1 content more broadly available to new and existing U.S. fans on both Netflix and Apple TV,” Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior VP of services, said in a conference call with reporters on Thursday, Feb. 26, per THR.

The deal reportedly delivers something for each company: Apple gets F1 shoulder programming that it can place alongside the live races, as well as expanded reach for its F1 programming through the Canadian Grand Prix simulcast. On the other hand, Netflix will get live F1 racing in the U.S. in May, continuing its strategy of frequent live-event programming.

Last fall, Apple and F1 nailed down a five-year rights deal after months of negotiations, where all races were made exclusively on Apple TV in the U.S. beginning this year. The deal went beyond streaming, with Apple saying in October 2025 it will “amplify” the motorsport across Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music and Apple Fitness+. And it will promote Formula 1 in its physical Apple Stores, per Variety.

Brad Pitt's F1 blockbuster, meanwhile, is currently in the running for Best Picture at the 2026 Academy Awards. The Apple TV film is also nominated for Best Film Editing, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects as the March 15 ceremony nears.

Costco's Cutesy Perfect-for-Spring Glassware Set Is Giving Total Anthropologie Vibes for Much Less

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:55pm

The landscape of home entertaining has undergone a significant shift toward the perfectly imperfect. For decades, the gold standard for glassware was thin, uniform crystal that felt almost too fragile to touch. However, the current aesthetic movement favors a more grounded, tactile approach. Today's most inviting tablescapes aren't defined by rigid symmetry, but by pieces that tell a story through texture and weight. This shift is part of a broader cottagecore and maximalist revival.

Shoppers are moving away from special-occasion items that sit gathering dust in a china cabinet. Instead, the focus is on high-quality, durable essentials that elevate a Tuesday night dinner just as easily as a weekend brunch. This new wave of design prioritizes the sensory experience; the way a glass feels in your hand, the way it catches the afternoon light, and the way it adds a pop of personality to a simple glass of iced tea or a handcrafted cocktail.

This molded design ensures the design won't fade or peel, maintaining its charm through years of use.

The glasses are specifically designed for versatility, whether you are serving lemonade by the pool or sparkling water at the dining table. One customer summed up the appeal perfectly, stating, "These glasses are chunky and cute. I love them."

‘I Don’t Look Back’: Kate Hudson on Why She Has No Advice for Her 21-Year-Old Self

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:52pm

Looking at Kate Hudson, it’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since she played the iconic Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous

Not only is Penny Lane one of Hudson’s most beloved roles, but it also earned her her very-first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

At the time, Hudson, now 46, was only 21 years old. Fast forward to today, and she’s nominated for Best Actress at the 98th Academy Awards, airing on Sunday, March 15, for her role as Claire Sardina in musical drama Song Sung Blue.

In a new interview with People published on Thursday, February 26, Hudson was asked what advice she’d give her 21-year-old self.

“The answer's so easy, which is nothing. I don't look back. I look at my life as a series of amazing, privileged, wonderful moments that, of course, have had a lot of personal things that are challenges along the way. But I never look back and wish it was any other way than it was,” Hudson said, adding, “All of the mistakes or all of the uncertainty or moments of insecurity are exactly what they should be.”

Hudson does, however, acknowledge the differences between her first nomination and her second, noting that she’s “so lucky” to have received both.

"To be so young and to be nominated at 21 — looking back on that, I can reflect now, having two decades of a career, it's a very different feeling to come in a room, and there's people that I've worked with and people I've known for decades now," she said. "It's familiar, and you understand the business differently.”

Hyatt Announces the Biggest Change to Its Award Chart Since Peak Pricing Was Introduced

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:46pm

Hyatt has just announced what loyalty experts are calling the biggest change to its World of Hyatt award chart since peak and off-peak pricing debuted in 2021, with sweeping impacts on how members redeem points for free nights. The change will take effect in May 2026.

At its core, the update expands the award chart from three redemption levels to five, replacing the current Off-Peak, Standard, and Peak tiers with a more granular set of Lowest, Low, Moderate, Upper, and Top pricing bands within each of Hyatt's eight hotel categories. This change marks a structural overhaul of the award chart—the first of its scale in several years—designed to give Hyatt finer control over pricing without fully abandoning a published chart in favor of dynamic pricing.

The practical result for members is that the potential point cost of award nights may rise substantially. All categories will see at least a 30 percent price jump on their most expensive nights. But the higher tiers will be hit the hardest. Under the new system, maximum redemption levels ("Top") have been increased by up to 67 percent, compared with existing Peak pricing. For example, a Category 8 property that once topped out at 45,000 points per night could now reach 75,000 points at high demand, according to The Points Guy.

Related: This New Hyatt All-Inclusive in Aruba Makes a Winter Getaway Feel Possible

Across categories, average rates at higher tiers are expected to land significantly above the current peak and even standard pricing, meaning spreads between the cheapest and most expensive nights will widen dramatically.

There is a small silver lining, however. The lowest tier in the new chart has been set slightly below current off-peak levels for many categories. In some cases, it's by as much as a few hundred points, which could create new value opportunities for stays during quieter periods.

In other words, while Hyatt isn't transitioning to full-on dynamic pricing, the new award chart structure will add complexity to travel planning.

"We are the only global hospitality loyalty program left that has a published award chart, and we are very much committed to maintaining that fact because our members know and love and expect it from us," Laurie Blair, Hyatt's senior vice preisdent of global marketing and loyalty, told The Points Guy, explaining that the change intends to strengthen the program's long-term stability.

Hyatt is also adding a few loyalty enhancements alongside the award chart update, such as digital point sharing later this year and early award access for top elite members and Hyatt credit cardholders. This gives them up to a month's head start on booking inventory.

In essence, Hyatt's changes represent a major evolution of its awards structure, maintaining fixed award charts while introducing significant variability, especially at the high end.

'Scream' Star Makes Hilarious Confession About Series' Biggest Mystery: 'We Never Even Discussed It'

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:45pm

When looking at the larger landscape of horror, Scream continues to stand the test of time for more than a few reasons.

Most obviously, the franchise's blend of cutthroat horror and surprisingly buoyant comedy routinely appeals to fans across a wide audience spectrum. Not only that, but viewers also continue to appreciate the long-running slasher series for its central mystery, with every Scream movie requiring close audience participation to solve who exactly the killer(s) might be.

While Scream has long fascinated viewers for this whodunit-type quality, there still remains a few unsolved mysteries behind the hit horror franchise. Mysteries, it seems, that not even the films' central cast has any definitive answers about.

Speaking with Deadline, original star Matthew Lillard admitted that, 30 years after the first Scream's release, he still wasn't sure whether it was his character or Skeet Ulrich's who appeared in the iconic opening moments of the movie.

When asked whether it was Billy or Stu who killed Drew Barrymore's supporting protagonist Casey Becker, the 56-year-old actor merely shrugged and confessed, "No idea."

Indeed, one of the most prevalent questions about the Scream series involves which killer was dressed as Ghostface during a particular attack. While some of these debates are more conclusive than others, a hardline answer to certain scenes (such as the opening of 1996's Scream) remains far more ambiguous.

Interestingly, when discussing this topic, Lillard said that neither he nor the film's key backstage personnel (including director Wes Craven or writer Kevin Williamson) ever wondered about which character could be wearing the legendary Ghostface mask during a particular scene.

"My favorite about this question is that, I was at the 25th anniversary with Kevin and I said, 'Who killed who? Do you know? Did you and Wes ever figure it out?'" Lillard recalled. "And he was like, 'No. We never even discussed it.' Skeet and I never discussed it. Maybe Wes did, but we certainly didn't have a moment where we had to figure out what that riddle was, much to the chagrin of all the fans out there."

On Thursday, Feb. 26, the rapper and television personality launched a GoFundMe in support of the "She Got Game" weekend from July 16-19, 2026 in Las Vegas.

"These athletes dedicate countless hours to their training and competition, often while juggling second and third jobs just to make ends meet," Flavor Flav wrote on GoFundMe. "They deserve to be celebrated and supported for their achievements, not just on the field but in their everyday lives."

The money raised will not only support the celebration weekend, but will also be given directly to the players who attend. Flavor Flav himself has also been a longtime supporter of women’s sports, frequently funding travel and training costs for athletes.

"Your generosity will ensure these athletes are properly celebrated in Las Vegas and receive meaningful financial support for their futures," the fundraiser reads. "Please join us in honoring these incredible women and ensuring they get the recognition and resources they deserve. Every contribution helps make this celebration possible and provides lasting impact for the athletes who inspire us all."

The rapper and television personality first extended the offer to the gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team before inviting all U.S. female Olympic and Paralympic medalists.

“Hey, yo, Hilary Knight and the women’s hockey team. I know y’all got my invite to come to Vegas. I want to go bigger and better,” Flavor Flav began a video posted to his Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 24. “I want to bring all United States female Olympians and Paralympians, the ones that won medals.”

Flavor Flav also invited the Team USA Bobsled and Skeleton athletes to the celebration, as he served as their official hypeman during the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.

“I got you guys covered, all right? We gonna throw a big party, you know what I’m saying?
One night, and all Olympians are invited to come to this party, all right? I mean, we got to build up everybody. And that’s what this is all about,” he added. “I want to see everybody bring your body to the party, all right? Flavor Flav in full effect.
Let’s get down, all right? Support women’s sports. It’s all about women’s sports, baby.
”

According to the fundraiser, the celebration will include bringing players to "dinners, shows, and events to honor their accomplishment in a big way."

Caitlin Clark Stuns in Outfit for Milan Fashion Week

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:42pm

Not only are the runway models stunning at this year's Milan Fashion Week.

The Prada Autumn/Winter 2026 show in Milan took place at the Fondazione Prada on Thursday. The collection, designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, focused on the "art of layering" — showcasing short jackets over tunics, distressed fabrics, oversized coats, satin dresses and mixed materials.

Many celebrities were spotted sitting in the front row at the fashion show earlier, including Carey Mulligan, Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu, Letitia Wright, influencer Charli D'Amelio, and even Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan. But one specific athlete stole the show.

Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever's star player, was seen outside the venue posing for photos earlier on Thursday. The 24-year-old athlete wore a simple business casual outfit — a striped beige cropped polo blouse and a pair of cream pants. She accessorized the look with a dark brown wool trench coat, small gold hoop earrings, a pair of chocolate-brown Prada kitty heels, brown sunglasses, a black belt and a medium-sized black leather purse.

Many Fever fans went on social media to comment on Clark's look at the fashion show.

"My goat," a fan quote-tweeted.

One fan posted along with a GIF, "she ate with this."

"aura 😎," another user quote-tweeted.

"Caitlin taking over fashion week now too?" a user wrote. "From breaking WNBA records to front row at Prada. The global reach is insane 🔥."

"I love that they are dressing CC in clothes she looks comfortable in," one user noticed.

"She’s so pretty and classy," another commented.

The regular WNBA season ended last fall, with the Las Vegas Aces winning their third championship. Despite a rollercoaster regular season marked by significant injuries to key players, including Clark and Sophie Cunningham, the team found success and finished as the No. 6 seed. Before her injury, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and five rebounds per game.

Preseason is set to start in late April, with the Fever playing against the New York Liberty on April 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, the regular season will tip off on May 8, marking the WNBA's 30th anniversary.

Trader Joe's Creamy $4 Find Brings a 'Spicy Little Kick' to Snack Time

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:40pm

While it's no secret that Trader Joe's isn't everyone's first stop for a full-blown grocery haul, that doesn't mean you can't score plenty of weekly staples upon each visit. With more intriguing items than you could ever know what to do with, shopping with an open mind often leads to discovering a whole world of delicious concoctions you never knew existed.

My new favorite? A familiar snack essential that recently reappeared at my local store and finally made its way home to my refrigerator: Trader Joe's Artichoke and Jalapeño Dip. Growing up, I was obsessed with my mother's homemade artichoke dip, so I couldn't resist trying this spicy, new-to-me rendition while it's still around. And if you've seen this tasty $4 snack before and passed it up, consider this your cue to grab it before it disappears again.

Artichoke and Jalapeño Dip, $3.69 at Trader Joe's

Nathan Hutsenpiller

Not currently listed on Trader Joe's website but likely popping up seasonally at a store near you, TJ's Artichoke and Jalapeño Dip already has quite the fan following online. It didn't take long in my research to find homemade recreations and Reddit posts raving about the dip, which only made me more eager to dig right in.

Made with a creamy base of Neufchâtel cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese and Greek yogurt, this dip is the perfect companion to your favorite crackers and chips and shines alongside any charcuterie display. The rich base is paired with tender, hearty artichoke hearts, brightened by a spicy kick of jalapeños and layered with savory onions and garlic for a well-rounded, flavorful bite.

Topped off with sea salt and dill onions, this dip is equally rich and creamy, and not at all overpowering in terms of the spice from the jalapeños. As a whole, it's chunky and hearty, though the creaminess is still front and center, while also easy to spread, dip and scoop even with flimsier chips and crackers.

What Fans Have to Say

Nathan Hutsenpiller

In a post shared on Reddit last year, one fan described the dip as "so good," saying they were extremely happy with their decision to give it a try. They even noted that when paired with pita crackers, it won them over even more, and praised the dip for having the "perfect little spicy kick."

In response to the post, fans shared plenty of ways to enjoy the dip, and some of the suggestions actually sound pretty delicious. Aside from one person who simply recommended eating it straight from the container with a spoon (which I'm not opposed to), the creativity on display definitely doesn't disappoint.

"I usually just inhale it with tortilla chips," one fan wrote. "But sometimes I use it as a spread on a toasted baguette with salami." Another said they like to "have it on mini sweet peppers," while someone else suggested mixing it with sour cream and spreading it on tacos.

One fan perfectly captured the joy of the dip entirely, telling others to simply enjoy it with: "A spoon. Crackers. Chips. Tortilla. Toast. Again, a spoon. With whatever loneliness you feel. With whatever happiness you feel. Eat the cheese dip. Be happy. Be well."

Final Thoughts

Nathan Hutsenpiller

For me, I like my artichoke dip served on a humble cracker, and that's it. I followed the lead of the original Reddit poster and grabbed a box of Trader Joe's Pita Bite Crackers, and thoroughly enjoyed their crisp, sea-salt-covered bite paired with the creaminess and heartiness of the dip.

I will say that the jalapeño flavor starts off mild and becomes more pronounced with each bite, though I still feel it's a welcome addition to a traditional dip, harmoniously complementing the flavor rather than getting in the way.

Definitely make sure to snag this one if you spot it at your local store; you won't be disappointed if you're already an artichoke fan. And if you're not, but have been curious about introducing your taste buds to something new, let this review sway you into the wonderful world of artichoke flavors. With that said, welcome, you're home now.

Don't miss out on more Trader Joe's favorites like these $5 Morning Buns and savory Lemony Chicken Orzo Soup.

Brooke Shields Returns to 'When Calls the Heart' in Emotional Episode About Jack’s Legacy

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:27pm

This week's episode of When Calls the Heart is probably one of the series' most poignant ones to date. A young Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich), or "LJ" as he now likes to be called, is depressed because he lost his father's Commissioner's Medal. His especially sad because the medal was the one thing that was his and his alone and made he feel connected to his dad as he never got a chance to meet or get to know him.

I had really hoped the producers took this chance to incorporate some clips from past episodes of Mountie Jack (Daniel Lissing) or for the actor to reprise his role in "new" flashback scenes for the show's fans, but alas that was not meant to be and the opportunity was missed.

Read on for more about Season 13, Episode 9 "Lost and Found Again" of When Calls the Heart and don't miss Parade's exclusive sneak peek.

To help him cope with the loss, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) organize a trip down memory lane for Little Jack of all the lives Jack (Lissing) touched when he was alive. Major Frozen Blueberry Recall Issued Over Potentially Deadly Listeria

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:25pm

More than 55,000 pounds of frozen blueberries are now part of a serious recall in the United States. The recall involves bulk packages of IQF blueberries that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, harmful bacteria that can cause severe illness. Federal officials say this frozen blueberry recall is classified as a Class I recall, which is the most serious type.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall began on Feb. 12, 2026. On Feb. 24, 2026, the agency officially labeled it as a Class I recall. This means there is a reasonable chance that eating the product could cause serious health problems or even death.

🍳 SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & fun food news in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter 🍳

The recall affects 55,689 pounds of IQF blueberries. IQF stands for "individually quick frozen." The blueberries were sold in large 30-pound cases and 1,400-pound totes. They were packaged inside polyethylene bags or liners. The product was not sold directly to shoppers in grocery stores, but it was distributed in Michigan, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as Canada.

The company listed in the recall is Oregon Potato Company LLC, located in Salem, Ore. The recall is voluntary, meaning the company started it on its own after learning about the possible risk. At this time, the recall is still ongoing.

What Is Listeria and Why Is This Recall So Serious?

marcin jucha / Shutterstock

The reason for this frozen blueberry recall is possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria is a type of bacteria found in soil, water and animals. When people eat food contaminated with listeria, they can develop an illness called listeriosis.

There are two forms of listeriosis. A mild infection can cause fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. However, a more severe infection can be life-threatening. Serious symptoms may include headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and seizures.

Young children, adults over 65, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems are at the highest risk. For these groups, a listeria infection can lead to severe complications.

Lot Codes and What to Check

The recall includes specific lot codes and expiration dates. For 30-pound cases, affected lot codes are 2055 B2, 2065 B1 and 2065 B3. For 1,400-pound totes, the lot codes are 3305 A1 and 3305 B1. Expiration dates range from July 23, 2027, to Nov. 25, 2027.

If you are a food distributor or business that received bulk frozen blueberries, check your inventory carefully. Even though these products were not sold directly to consumers, food safety experts warn that recalled items can sometimes make their way into other products.

The FDA continues to monitor this frozen blueberry recall as part of its ongoing effort to protect public health.

'We’ve Seen Enough': Tampa International Airport Teases Pajama Ban

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:19pm

Can Tampa International Airport actually ban travelers from wearing pajamas? No ... but that didn’t stop the airport from riling people up on social media.

“We’ve seen enough. We’ve had enough. It’s time to ban pajamas at Tampa International Airport. After successfully banning Crocs and giving everyone the amazing opportunity to experience the world’s first Croc-free airport, it’s time to take on an even larger crisis. Pajamas. At. The. Airport. In the middle of the day,” Tampa International Airport wrote in a cheeky post shared to X on Thursday, February 26.

“We know this decision could be disruptive to someone in your life. It’s time to have a difficult conversation with them. You can do this. We (and Phoebe) believe in you. The madness stops today. The movement starts now. Help Tampa International Airport become the world’s first Crocs-free AND pajama-free airport. DO YOUR PART. SAY NO TO PAJAMAS AT TPA,” the post concluded.

TPA’s post comes a few months after Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy called on travelers to be mindful of their airport attire.

“I call this, just maybe dressing with some respect. You know, whether it’s a pair of jeans and a decent shirt. I would encourage people to maybe dress a little bit better, which encourages, encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let’s try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport,” he said in a November 2025 statement.

In the hours since TPA shared their message, it sparked a lot of online discourse. “Who wears pajamas to the airport anyway?” one X user replied.

“If they don’t smell bad and aren’t bothering anyone, why do y’all care so much? Can y’all focus on actually cleaning your bathrooms for once and speeding up TSA lines instead?” a second user argued.

“What about kids? Pajamas are most comfortable for them for a long flight,” a third user asked. “This doesn’t seem very important,” a fourth chimed in.

Chris Harrison's Controversial New Dating Series Finds Home on Fox Nation

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 1:15pm

Chris Harrison is about to make his reality TV comeback!

According to Deadline, the former Bachelor host’s new reality series has found a home at streaming service Fox Nation.

The untitled project has officially received a greenlight and is in the early stages of pre-production, with casting and filming expected to begin in the coming months. A source told the outlet the series is currently slated to premiere in 2027.

News of the series first broke in early February, when Emmy-nominated casting director Lindsay Liles shared a casting call for a new show hosted by Harrison via Instagram. According to a description, the series is looking for contestants “dating for a traditional marriage.”

“A prominent streaming service is casting single men and women (21+) who want a traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values,” the casting call read. “We’re looking for singles who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment, and building a life together — and who are dating with real intention.”

An official logline provides more information, reading, "Several women will embark on a relationship journey designed for individuals seeking lasting commitment. Blending romance, real-world compatibility tests and emotionally charged eliminations, the series reimagines modern dating through the lens of shared values, authenticity, and the goal of marriage."

Harrison will joined by a number of Bachelor alumni on the show and will executive produce with his wife Lauren Zima, a former producer and host at Entertainment Tonight.

The new show marks Harrison’s first return to reality TV since being ousted from The Bachelor in 2021. However, in the casting call's comment section, fans were not thrilled with the premise of the series.

“What is a ‘traditional marriage?’ And what exactly are ‘clear roles?’ And what specific shared values? We need you to say the quiet part out loud,” wrote one commenter.

“I would love for the show to define what a ‘traditional marriage’ is to them,” said another. “Oh no. Tradwife TV. @chrisbharrison WTAF What happened to you when you moved to Texas?” added a third.

“I am saying this as a long time Bachelor fan, is this a joke? What does that even mean, a traditional marriage?” wrote a fourth. “Feels extremely tone deaf given the pressure/focus on ‘traditional’ values from our government/country. Interesting.”
