'Bridgerton' Season 4 Ending Explained: Does Penelope Give Up Being Lady Whistledown?
[WARNING! This article spoils the events of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, now available for streaming on Netflix. Please do not read further if you do not intend to know what happens in Episodes 5-8.]
Amid the main love story of Bridgerton Season 4, the storyline takes an interesting turn regarding Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and her identity as Lady Whistledown. The finale reveals a shocking twist that may put her in jeopardy and develops a new juicy storyline worthy of the ton.
During Penelope's own love story with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), she had no choice but to out herself as the gossip writer Lady Whistledown. The fourth season showed her unable to bridge the gap between her new public Bridgerton status and her role as the ton's esteemed writer. By the finale of Bridgerton Season 4, she confronts the Queen (Golda Rosheuvel) and receives shocking news.
Does Penelope stop being Lady Whistledown?Yes, Penelope confronts the Queen about her inability to continue writing gossip now that she's a public figure.
In the season, Penelope battles with the reality of her name now being attached to the gossip writer. After having outed a fellow ton member and his mistress, Penelope is confronted by the very same mistress, and how she ruined her plans to secure some wealth before leaving Mayfair. Penelope also begins to realize that her past anonymity and being a wallflower no longer applies, as everyone expects her to be listening.
By Episode 6, Penelope tells Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) she is ready to leave Lady Whistledown behind and start a new chapter. She has an audience with the Queen about the reality of their lives and wants to give the ton and themselves a chance to live their lives away from scrutiny.

At Cressida Cowper's (Jessica Madsen) ball, Penelope pens one final Lady Whistledown and reveals her retirement. It shocks the ton and Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), who believes no one will write of her debut, but the Queen has come to accept it. She does ask Penelope to still visit with some juicy gossip from time to time.
While Penelope believes that chapter of her life is over, the Bridgerton Season 4 finale says otherwise. After the Queen's ball, Penelope is back in her study writing her first novel when Colin appears, wondering what she's up to. Penelope gleefully tells him until Colin produces a new Lady Whistledown issue that wasn't written by her. A monologue of Lady Whistledown reveals that there's a new gossip writer in the ton under the same name, who says there's far too much that has occurred for her to stay silent.
Who is the new Lady Whistledown? The finale of Bridgerton Season 4 doesn't reveal who the new writer is. For now, it's all up to fan speculation and who among the ton has been listening in the shadows. With what was revealed, someone has been watching everything that has happened, likely about Sophie's (Yerin Ha) true identity, and Michaela (Masali Baduza) leaving Francesca (Hannah Dodd).
Fans may remember that Cressida tried to take up the alias of the writer in Season 3 but failed. This season, she begged Penelope to include her in a new issue of the newsletter to fix her social standing, but was shut down due to Penelope's ill feelings towards her. It also led to the Queen refusing to appear at her first ball as the new Lady Penwood. Could it be Cressida? It would be everyone's first thought, or it might be the chance of introducing a new character.
Speculation can also be put on Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi), who has now become a lady in waiting to the Queen. She has proven this season to have eavesdropped a few times on private matters. Although she did refuse to tell the Queen about Benedict's (Luke Thompson) relationship with Sophie, feeling it wasn't her place.
Kelly Ripa Reveals Career-Changing Advice She Received From Oprah Winfrey
Kelly Ripa has enjoyed quite the career in mainstream television over the past two and a half decades.
Originally debuting as a standout actress on ABC's All My Children in 1990, the 55-year-old Ripa has remained something of a regular fixture on the Live! program since 2001. Working alongside everyone from Regis Philbin and Michael Strahan to Ryan Seacrest and her husband Mark Consuelos, Ripa has consistently delighted fans of the hit talk show for the past 25 years.
As impressive as her time on the show has been, Ripa has admitted to occasionally thinking about leaving Live! a few times throughout her career. However, she credits her fellow TV legend Oprah Winfrey with convincing her otherwise, imparting just how important it is for shows like Ripa's remain on television.
"Let me give Oprah credit," Ripa told Variety. "She left her show at the 25-year mark, and I said to her, 'Should this be my signal?' She’s like, 'Don’t leave. Don’t do it. Right now, you’ll regret it.' She said, 'With you and Mark, the dynamic, the show is more important than ever. People really relate to it, and they need that in this world of a lot of darkness and an endless 24-hour, never-ending news cycle.'"
As meaningful as Winfrey's advice was in terms of Ripa remaining on television, the Live! star admitted she needed to go in touch with the iconic TV host to inquire about when exactly the appropriate time to call it quits might be.
"I need to actually ask her, 'You said not to leave at 25, but what year? What are we thinking? Give me an idea of how far beyond 25 I should go,'" Ripa said. "But I always say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. We are really having a very good time."
‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2 Release Window Revealed
HBO drama Heated Rivalrytook everyone by storm, and the chemistry between Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) quickly turned it into one of the most talked-about relationships on television. Ever since the first season of the hockey drama ended, fans have been bombarding the internet with demands for a Season 2, and it seems the show's creator heard those calls loud and clear, confirming that the highly anticipated Season 2 is eyeing a 2027 debut.
While it was already known that a season of Heated Rivalry was officially on the way, creator Jacob Tierney recently confirmed that the sophomore season is officially aiming for a Spring 2027 release. While speaking to Gayle King on CBS Mornings, the filming for Season 2 is slated to begin in August 2026, with the makers targeting an April 2027 release.
During the conversation, Tierney didn't shy away from saying that he didn't expect the show to get this popular and noted that he never thought of a second season. However, he feels lucky that he is getting to take the story forward. "We didn't know we were gonna sell this show, we didn't even know [people] are going to be watching it. I had not written a second season, and I did not even know if I was going to get a second season. But it's all happening, we are writing it now. We are getting ready to start shooting this summer, and there will be more Heated Rivalry truly as soon as humanly possible," said Tierney.

— CBS Mornings (@CBSMornings) February 26, 2026The upcoming season of Heated Rivalry will primarily tackle The Long Game, the fan-favorite sequel in Rachel Reid's Game Changers book series. Season 1 was about "will-they-won't-they" tension and the complexities of maintaining a long-term, secret relationship while at the top of their professional game.
Even though fans would have to wait a little longer to see their favorite characters back on the screen, the franchise's momentum isn't slowing down. Between the show's massive success on HBO Max and the surge in book sales, it's clear the world isn't tired of these two yet. For now, fans are being told to "enjoy the yearn."
Whether it's on the ice or behind closed doors, the heat between Hollander and Rozanov is only just getting started.

Massive Weber Recall Issued Due to Serious Injury Risk
On Feb. 26, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on more than 3.2 million Weber Metal Wire Grill Brushes. According to the notice, "Small metal wire bristles can detach from the brushes, stick to the grill or food, posing an ingestion hazard and risk of serious internal injuries that could require surgery."
Weber has already received 38 consumer reports or reviews complaining that the bristles had come off. More concerning, four people so far have reported needing medical care to remove bristles from their throats or digestive tracts after accidentally swallowing them.
There are seven models involved in the recall: 6277, 6278, 6463, 6464, 6493, and 6494. The brushes measure 12 to 21 inches long and have either plastic or wooden handles. Models 6277 and 6278 were distributed between 2021 and 2026, and have a black plastic handle with a red ring at the bottom.
Models 6493 and 6494 were available between 2013 and 2021, and have black plastic handles with a black ring at the connection to the brush.
Models 6463 and 6464 are the only two models that have bamboo handles instead of plastic. They were sold between 2011 and 2021. Another distinguishing feature is the silver metal scraper attached to the same side as the brush head.
The brushes were sold both in stores and online at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Target, Amazon, and Weber.com between 2011 and 2026. They were also sold on resale sites.
Weber is asking anyone who owns one of these models to stop using it immediately and discard it. To receive a replacement nylon-bristle grill brush, consumers need to go to weberebrushrecall.expertinquiry.com and indicate which recalled brush they own. The steps will lead you through registration. Alternatively, customers can call 877-597-9588, Monday - Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM EST.
In 2023, the CPSC released a "Summer Grill Safety Tips" YouTube video that addressed the use of wire brushes. "Use a nylon brush or a ball of tinfoil," CPSC Chair Alex Hoehn-Saric said. "Don't use a wire brush. Those can leave bristles inside your food, and nobody's going to want that."
Jenna Lewis-Dougherty Reveals the Real Reason She Targeted Cirie on ‘Survivor 50’ (Exclusive)
Survivor 50 is here! Every week, Parade.com's Mike Bloom will bring you interviews with the castaway most recently voted off the island.
"Survivor 50 is not Gen Pop," Jenna Lewis-Dougherty told me days before the milestone season kicked off. "This is death row. So to get here, you had to do some bad s—t."
Perhaps that's the reason why the OG Borneo cast member stepped into the metaphoric prison yard and decided to fight the biggest person there. During my time in Fiji, I asked the cast their thoughts on every other person playing alongside them. And, when the Friends and Foes were tallied up, Jenna by far skewed the most positive out of the 24 players. But, three days into her highly-anticipated return to the game she helped put on the map, she was chewed up and spat out like rat meat. So what happened?
One of the reasons Jenna may have come into Survivor 50 with the highest Q rating (not to be confused with the person) is because of the massive reverence this group of fans-turned-players has around that superstar original season. But, having not played since the single-digit seasons of the show, that gave them a perception that she would have an "old school" style, wanting to focus more on vibes and being a minnow rather than a shark. But one thing was clear from the jump with Jenna: This former Pagong was bringing Tagi-esque cutthroat strategy into her third time out.
Over 20 years ago, Jenna took control of All-Stars from the jump, rallying the group around a massive target in Tina Wesson. And she attempted to repeat history here, multitasking while setting up camp to immediately get the numbers to take out Cirie Fields. Jenna was about to learn very quickly, however, if you come for the queen, you best not miss. Her immediate strategizing gave pause to the rest of her tribe, especially compared to the assumption she would play a slower, more low-key game. And so, while a number of old-schoolers' names were being floated around, they ultimately settled on J for Jenna. Despite the devastation of having her decades-long return cut so short, she looked back upon the standing ovation she received from those who blindsided her, simply remarking, "First in, first out."
Now out of the game, Jenna talks with Parade about the person who actually got her to target Cirie, why the reasoning of her playing too hard, too fast is "BS," and the people she was trying to make a move with to combat an obvious duo.

How are you doing right now, Jenna? Especially after watching those first three days back again?
I mean, I've seen it now three times in three days. I've also had eight months of processing. But the eight months of processing was actually much harder, I think, because you're sitting there wondering what you said, how you're going to be portrayed. You kind of go through everything that you've ever said, and what sounded dumb and where you sounded dumb, things like that. So when you see it, you finally get to process actually what happened or how the edit looks, and you get to see what other players were saying to other players, which you don't know. So it brought some clarity. And I really, really, really think that they gave me a good edit. I was coming in fast, because from the second we landed, it was like there were very clear "pre-connections," we'll call them.
Well, I want to start with where things ended. Did you get a sense from Tribal Council that you would be the one going? Or that your name was on the table at all?
Yes, I thought I was on the table for Cirie and Ozzy. I thought they were voting me. But I thought that Joe and Savannah, especially Joe, when I did talk to him, he was like, "Yeah, that duo..." I know he just got, you know, kind of screwed over by CKmilla and Kyle the last time. So I kept trying to say, "Don't be with a duo. That's the worst thing to happen. If you're the third, it never ends well for you. I know from Survivor: All-Stars." So if I had been with Cirie and Ozzy, they would have been like, "Oh, Jenna, don't do it again. Don't do it again."
But as soon as Savannah was telling me, "Oh, now they're thinking Ozzy," I thought, "Okay, well, then they're not for me. Ozzy and Cirie might be for me, but they're not for me. I think they're kind of getting it." And seeing the Edit last night, seeing what actually happened. I can tell you what I think actually happened..
Please!
Okay, let's start with Christian Christian, Day 1, comes over. And we're shooting the crap around the circle. And he comes over, and we're asking each other, like, "How do you feel about this person? Who's the biggest threat?" And Christian says, "I'll go sit by who's the biggest threat. Watch." And he goes over, and he sits right next to Cirie, talks to her for three minutes, and then finds a reason to meander back over to me. And he's like, "She's the biggest threat." And I will get Christian eye to eye on this. "If she makes it to merge, she'll be lost in the wind all the people and connections she has over there, and we'll never have a chance again to get her."
And I was like, "Dude, okay, I'm down, yes!" And we chatted about being not just a threat, but a liability. Like, we don't know how she's going to do in challenges. And then you, you saw how that went in challenges, but I don't think it came across really how bad it was.
So Christian did a lot of that. They're gonna paint this as Cirie. Cirie didn't do any of that. That was all Christian. And Christian talking to Devens is really interesting to me. Because Christian says, "I'm going to be the Spock. You're going to be my Captain Kirk. I'm going to do all of the thinking. You're going to go do the work." It's like almost verbatim. And then it shows Rick Devins walking to the water hole and telling Cirie, "Jenna's pushing for you." He literally sent Rick to go do his dirty work. And Cirie was like, "Oh, really? Why are you coming for me?" I didn't know she was thinking that! I didn't think Christian was running back to tell her. But Christian created that whole thing.
That is so interesting. Because the narrative we got was that you were placing too hard and too fast, immediately gunning for Cirie. But I was there for your Final Words, where you remarked that people weren't having game conversations with you until Joe. So were you aware about that perception of you at the time?
By the way, I think that's all BS. I think that's a reason. I think you're gonna get al ot of this from people that are coming off. I was not playing fast or harder than anyone else. You watched the same premiere on the other islands. It was the exact same. They're getting bamboo, which means it's like two hours in, and what are they saying? They were throwing out Dee's name and Chrissy's name. So it was no different, honestly, none.
But the problem was, it was an emotional thing. I felt on the outs. I talked to Savannah about it. I was like, "Those three. Emily, Devens and Christian." And of course, then, after I read these articles where Christian is like, "Oh, outside of the game, I would consider Emily a good friend." Well, it would have been really nice to start a social game with a really good friend! I didn't know anyone. Haven't had contact with anyone. The only person I knew was Colby. All I wanted to do was be on a tribe with Colby. We saw Stephenie and Colby, and what did she talk about? "Oh my gosh, how lucky am I? I trust him implicitly. We've worked together, we have a bond." I was like, "God, that would have felt nice."
And that's what Christian and Emily and Devens had as well. So I was trying to get Joe and Savannah to take action, so then maybe us three could kind of tie in one of the others. We would probably go with Christian and Emily, because they were kind of talking about Ozzy. But Savannah and Joe — and these are the two new school players that are supposed to be playing just as fast and hard! They weren't in on it. They weren't in on Christian and Emily.
They sat them down, but Christian, Emily and Devens already had that all planned out. And it was Emily that goes, "Maybe we should do Ozzy." And then Emily brings it to Savannah; they were sitting on that log. And Joe's like, "I don't want to vote Jenna. We're never gonna win another challenge." Maybe he's right... And Savannah was like, "I don't think I want to vote for Jenna." So it was right down to the wire. But Joe and Savannah were the ones. I was like, "Hey, this is not good. This duo and then this grouping, this is not gonna work out for us. We are definitely on the outs."
Talk to me more about the Ozzy plan. When were you brought in on it? Because you still end up voting for Cirie at the end of the day.
Again, that's why I thought I might get Cirie and Ozzy's vote. But I didn't think the rest of the group. Because the last word that I heard when we were chatting, it was like, "Oh, Ozzy. Okay." And you heard Savannah tell Emily, "Oh, I think I can get Jenna to vote for Ozzy." Yeah, you could have! Definitely would have. But it didn't happen. I was on a walk when that all happened, and they kind of made their decision. I went on a walk maybe right before Tribal Council, but they were still on the fence at that time, Savannah and Joe.
For people that are playing so fast, they were making their decision two minutes before Tribal Council, because I just couldn't get them to come together, which is sad. But I did feel that's why, when you said, "You must have felt some of the vote," yeah, I felt like Ozzy and Cirie were probably going to vote for me. But with these guys going, "I think we should vote for Ozzy," I was like, "Okay, you tell me Ozzy, we're good."
I want to talk about your relationship with Savannah. In our preseason chat, you were very eager to work with her. Did the "Winner Killer" get any pause, though, when you found out she had won Season 49?
No, not at all. In fact, I thought of it as a really good thing, a nice compliment to me and how I play. Because she is that young challenge beast. She told me she won a bunch of challenges. And I thought, "Wow, I need one of these new school players that play fast. She just won." There's literally no one else that you can say knows the game better than the girl who won 10 days before. So I was like, "Oh, this is great. I really want to be with her." I would have happily sat across from her in Tribal Council, absolutely. Because the further I had gotten in this game, the bigger the threat I became, because nobody would have wanted to sit across from me at Tribal.
We see a moment where you float out targeting Cirie to Ozzy, who takes a long pause at the idea. And you then call him out to his face how you can't trust him. Talk to me more about that.
You see my face. I saw it. I got it. And that's why I brought it to Christian, Devens, Savannah, Joe. Like, "You can't have a duo. There's no way. These two are absolutely together. Duos, it's bad for everyone around them." And they just didn't act on it well. But I knew.
Obviously, this was a long-awaited return for you. So how did this vote-out compare to the other two you experienced?
The first one, whenever you play the first time, it really is a pure experience. Nobody has pre connection, so you get the purity of someone else. You don't know how they play. You haven't had the chance to literally get them on Zoom calls and have complete coordination on your game. So it's a pure experience, which is so different. It's literally the opposite of this experience.
And then when I came for All-Stars, it was new enough that I knew everybody. Now we had not pregamed either, but we had been doing what a lot of these guys are doing, going to all of these Survivor events, seeing each other, so they knew each other. I had known everybody in All-Stars. I think that's what helped me get further. And then I landed on this island, I wasn't even given the benefit of the doubt. Colby was the only person I had, and the only OG. And when you didn't have that one person as a touchstone, I feel like I was kind of sacrificed.
On the opening mat, you had said you had learned something about yourself every time you played Survivor. So what did you take away this time around?
I think it's nothing about the go hard, go fast, because I really do think everybody did, if you watched any of the other tribes. I think I learned an easily diverted, like I was paying too close attention to Cirie and Ozzy. And I knew that Christian, Devens and Emily were together, but I really didn't grasp the chess master that Christian is. I'm telling
you. He's so far beyond.
He's not just smart, he's brilliant. He caused the Cirie thing. I did not even bring Cirie's name up. He caused all of that. I think he's gonna puppet them. Devens, Emily, I think he's got them right under his thumb. So I was easily diverted. I followed exactly what he said. He's like, "Follow the keys, Jenna. Follow the keys!" And I was like, "Oh, okay, yeah!" But that's trusting easily. But I also had nobody to trust, so I had to trust somebody, and kind of at least try to get in with somebody. And if you're the first one that goes to Tribal Council, you've had two and a half days to get to know these people. These people all have relationships. It was kind of doomed from the start.
You compared him to the Chucky Doll. But he used you as a toy!
See, I told you! I told you he would get a knife and murder everyone. That's exactly what he's gonna do.

U.S. Women’s Hockey Star Hilary Knight Calls Trump Joke ‘Distasteful'
Olympic gold medalist Hilary Knight is finally addressing the controversial jokePresident Donald Trump made about the U.S. Women's Hockey team.
After the U.S. men also won Olympic gold, the president jokingly told the team in a locker room phone call that he would be “impeached” if he didn’t also invite the women’s team to White House festivities.
“We’ll just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to—I must tell you—we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that,” the president said as he and the team laughed. “I do believe I probably would be impeached [if I didn’t].”
The president also offered to coordinate military aircraft to fly the men’s team to Washington, D.C. for the State of the Union—which the team ended up attending.
The women’s hockey team declined President Trump‘s invitation to attend the State of the Union, citing prior commitments.
While appearing on ESPN's SportsCenter on Wednesday, Feb. 25, Knight, who is the women's team captain, addressed the president's comments for the first time, calling it a "distasteful joke."
"I thought it was sort of a distasteful joke, and unfortunately that is overshadowing a lot of the success, the success of just women at the Olympics carrying for Team USA and having amazing gold medal feats," Knight said.

"We're just focusing on celebrating the women in our room, the extraordinary efforts, and continue to celebrate three gold medals in program history as well as the double gold for both men's and women's at the same time," she continued. "And really not detract from that with a distasteful joke."
Knight also said that she was looking forward to "celebrating all great things that have come out of the Olympics and feeling the love and support and getting back in our respective communities and sharing this journey with them. And that's what this is all about."

Also on Wednesday, Jeremy Swayman, a goaltender for the U.S. Men’s Hockey team, said he and his teammates—some of which appeared be laughing at Trump's joke— “should’ve reacted differently” to the president's comments.
“We should have reacted differently,” Swayman said. “We know that we are so excited for the women’s team, we have so much respect for the women’s team. To share that gold medal with them is something that we’re forever grateful for.”
Swayman also noted that visiting the White House and attending the State of the Union on Tuesday was “an incredible honor.”
“We all were there to represent our country, celebrate a gold medal for the United States,” he added. “That was something that we really embodied and were really grateful to be a part of.”
Kylie Kelce Sends a Strong Message to Parenting Critics Over Her 3-Year-Old Daughter Using a Pacifier
You tell ‘em, Kylie Kelce! During the Thursday, February 26, episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mother of four opened up about her 3-year-old daughter, Bennett, still using a pacifier, noting that the toddler has “some things that we need to work on.”
Despite the honest admission, Kelce, 33 could sense the parent-shamers circling.
“The age of 3 is going to come with losing passies. For all of those people who are gonna get in the comments and be like, ‘By 3 years old, she should have already lost the passies.’ Hey, I'm gonna need you to sit down. You actually came to the wrong place, and we don't accept that type of bulls--t around here. So I'mma need you to just kick rocks, not the place or the time or the person.”

In addition to Bennett, who turned 3 years old on February 23, learning to give up her pacifier, Kelce is also in the process of getting her to “take no for an answer," a task she jokingly described as "super simple."
Kelce added, “Everyone talks about the terrible twos. I didn't find two to be terribly crazy with Benny. I would love to say that Benny is going to be a threenager, but she already did the teenager thing at 2. So 3 will be a fun surprise. Every single age has been different for every kid, so it's hard to predict what's about to happen.”
Kelce shares daughters Wyatt, Ellie, Bennett, and Finnley with husband Jason Kelce.

T-shirts are a dime a dozen, but it seems like finding the perfect one is still hard. Going with a legacy brand like Hanes is always a safe bet, especially since their clothing is so affordable for the quality you’re getting. This heavyweight tee is no exception, and you can get one for only $6.
The Hanes Heavyweight Cotton T-Shirt is going for just $6 right now on Walmart, and is backed by over 10,000 five-star reviews. The black, dark green, red, army green, heather grey, navy, and white tees are all going for the same price as well.
Hanes Heavyweight Cotton T-Shirt, From $6 at WalmartA classic built to last, this beefy tee is made using a durable 6-ounce ringspun cotton, with double-needle stitching, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, and a high-density stitch count to reinforce the seams. The roomy cut gives you a relaxed fit, and the shirt comes in sizes up to 6XL for even more options. It’s easy to maintain, too, just cold wash to preserve softness and tumble dry as usual.
One helpful shopper said the shirts are “nice and thick and not flimsy,” and that “100% cotton is excellent.” The fact that the shirt is made entirely of cotton and it’s only $6 is quite impressive, and something that a lot of reviewers really appreciated. Since they’re entirely made of cotton, though, the shirt will shrink a bit after the first wash, so you may want to go a size up if you’re in between sizes.
While this is certainly a budget shirt, the quality is there, and quite a few shoppers commented that they hold up really well: “They're substantial, more than most, and they last at least 60-70 washings before they start to fray.” A second shopper said that the shirt “Washes and dries beautifully,” and that they loved all the color options.

Does 'Bridgerton' Season 4 Finale Tease Eloise as the Next Love Story for Season 5?
[WARNING! This article spoils the events of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, now available for streaming on Netflix. Please do not read further if you do not intend to know what happens in Episodes 5-8.]
With Bridgerton Season 4 over, all eyes are now on who will take up the mantle as the next love story between Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Francesca (Hannah Dodd). Certain clues might have hinted at Eloise's concept of marriage being swayed due to the events of the season ahead of Season 5.
Since the beginning of the series, Eloise has detested the marriage mart and has been in favor of independence as her siblings ventured into true love. The fifth season may be changing Eloise's mindset by not only seeing Benedict's (Luke Thompson) defiant love for Sophie (Yerin Ha), but also the reality of what it means to have a partner after a sudden family tragedy.
Is Eloise ready for marriage?Bridgerton Season 4 has hinted that Eloise may be the focal point of the next season. Fans see Eloise's mindset begin to change as Part 2 progresses, with the people around her putting forth their truths about what it means to love. While Eloise still hates being a part of the ton festivities and Hyacinth's lessons, visiting Cressida Cowper (Jessica Madsen) plants a certain seed.
After Sophie and Benedict's love for each other becomes family knowledge, Eloise helps Sophie with her plan to prove her title as the daughter of the Earl of Penwood. To do so, Eloise visits Cressida, the new Lady Penwood, and takes Sophie along. While chatting, Cressida admits to having read Mary Wollstonecraft after Eloise's constant talks last season.
Cressida reveals the author is slightly wrong in her idea of independence because she doesn't value love as much. She then tells Eloise that love has the power to change one's life, and Eloise says she's beginning to realize that. Later on, Eloise has a heart-to-heart with Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), who has diverted from the idea of marriage after John's (Victor Alli) sudden death.
Eloise openly tells her that death is out of their control, but cannot stop them from experiencing something "truly special" like marriage. She even admits that marriage might have its advantages, like a companion, family, and the bond of siblings due to having children. Even by the finale, Eloise is happy to push Posy to follow in accepting a dance with a possible suitor. Is Sir Phillip in her future as her possible suitor?

The post-credit scene adds a further hint for Season 5Bridgerton Season 4 surprised fans with a post-credit scene of Benedict and Sophie's wedding. While waiting for the bride, Kate asks whose wedding they will attend next, and Eloise chimes in that she loves a wedding. While everyone looks at her in shock, she clarifies that she loves them as a guest.
The post-credit scene also furthers Francesca as a possible next lead or not. Penelope asks her if she's ever going to marry again, with Francesca saying she has already had her one great love.

‘Entourage’ Stars Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier Reunite: ‘Haven’t Seen This Guy in Almost a Decade'
Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier were TV royalty as Vinnie Chase and Ari Gold on Entourage, and they're back together for the first time in a decade!
Piven, 60, is best known for his iconic role as Ari Gold on Entourage, which ran on HBO from 2004 to 2011. Also known for films like PCU, Old School, and Grosse Pointe Blank, Piven made a pivot in recent years to a stand-up comedy career. Grenier, 49, kicked off his acting career in the 1999 teen comedy Drive Me Crazy alongside Melissa Joan Hart. However, it was his memorable role as movie star Vincent Chase in the beloved HBO series that skyrocketed him to superstardom.
While the duo was beloved for years on the series, they haven't seen each other in forever. That's why it's delightful to see them back together on Piven's Instagram page, after he caught Grenier sitting in the audience of one of his shows.
"I found Vinnie! Hiding in plain sight in Austin, farming the land, not listening to me, and clearly doing Indies.!!! I haven’t seen this guy in almost a decade, so imagine my surprise when I’m standing on stage, and I see him supporting in the audience… It’s all about showing up @adriangrenier," Piven captioned the photo, which showed him alongside Grenier in a sweet shot.
View this post on Instagram What's Adrian Grenier Up to These Days?An avid environmentalist, Grenier initially said goodbye to Hollywood around 2016, preferring to live on a ranch with his family in Texas. However, he occasionally returns to the spotlight and recently attended a film panel at The Cabin at the Sundance Film Festival for his project, Self Custody.
Also, don't expect to see Grenier in the Devil Wears Prada sequel. While Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci will return for the sequel to the beloved 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada, Grenier is one famous face who won’t appear. The actor, who played Hathaway’s boyfriend Nate in the film, is a no-go for a return in the upcoming film, The Hollywood Reporterconfirmed last year. However, they did note that Kenneth Branagh has joined the cast for the sequel.

Trader Joe’s Fans ‘Can’t Wait’ to Try This New Chicken Salad Flavor
If you’ve been on TikTok in the last year, then you already know that chicken salad is having a bit of a renaissance, and it looks like Trader Joe’s wants in on the action.
America’s No. 1 grocery store is dropping a new Greek Style Chicken Salad featuring artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, herbs, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
Retailing for $5.49 for a 10-ounce container, Trader Joe’s writes, “Available in our refrigerators every day, Trader Joe’s Greek Style Chicken Salad makes a lovely lunch option when scooped into lettuce cups, spread onto a Pretzel Bun or croissant, or even simply eaten on its own with a fork. It makes it an especially smart choice to use as a topper for salad greens or a sliced tomato, and as an appetizer, it serves splendidly with crackers, crudités, and bits of Pita or Lavash.”
As for the nutritional value, each 1/3-cup serving (100g) contains 250 calories, 21 grams of fat, 10 grams of protein, and 670 milligrams of sodium. The salad has 3 grams of total sugars, 1 gram of fiber, and no added sugars, along with 13 percent of the daily value of cholesterol.

Of course, because Trader Joe’s has a somewhat cult-like following, shoppers on social media are already talking about the new product.
“I haven’t seen this in my store yet, but I can’t wait to try it,” one user shared via Reddit. “No nuts or cranberries?! Sign me up! That sounds bomb!” added another.
“I just recently tried their original chicken salad, and holy moly, it was so good! Def will keep my eyes out for this,” a third user chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “OMG! If they don't have this at my store, I will be so disappointed.”
The 'Staples Baddie' Goes Viral: How One Employee's TikTok Is Reinvigorating the Massive Brand (Exclusive)
There are some businesses that have been around since we were children and are fixtures in our everyday lives. Staples is one of those brands; while we might not have daily needs for things at the office supply retailer, we know it’s there in case we do. But thanks to TikTok’s resident “Staples Baddie,” people are thinking about the company more than they maybe ever have.
If you’ve spent any amount of time on TikTok in the past month, you’ve most likely come across the Staples Baddie, a user named Oblivion, who goes by the handle @blivxx. She’s been making videos highlighting her job at Staples since the end of January and has blown up big time. Even if you haven’t seen her videos on your For You Page (FYP), you’ve most likely seen videos analyzing how effective she’s been at promoting this company or maybe even videos of people going to Staples for projects and saving a ton of time and money, thanks to her.
One of those TikTok users is Alexandra Hallman, who goes by the handle @hopeidontknowyou. She posted a video (which has over 1.4 million views at the time of this reporting) about how she’s saving “one thousand dollars” on her skateboard wall art project thanks to Oblivion. And that’s just one example of many—either through video testimonials or in Oblivion’s comments.
But if you have no idea who the Staples Baddie is, or you want to know more about how this all got started, Parade reached out to Oblivion and learned a little bit about who she is, what she thinks about all of this popularity and where she hopes to go from here.

Who Is the ‘Staples Baddie’?The “Staples Baddie” is a user named Oblivion who has the handle @blivxx. She makes TikToks while in her Staples uniform about the different services they offer, often demonstrating what exactly the process looks like for them to create some of these things in-store, such as a personalized mug and stamps.
Her Staples videos get hundreds of thousands of views and hundreds of comments; her most viral posts have between 4 million and 6.5 million views as of right now.
We got you covered
♬ original sound - 🦷✨oblivion✨🦷But who exactly is the Staples Baddie?
Oblivion—who also goes by Kaeden in her day-to-day life, as you can see from her name tag when she’s on the job—is a 22-year-old Print Specialist at Staples on the East Coast. She tells Parade that the name “Oblivion” comes from the 1983 film Videodrome, where there's a character called Dr. Brian O’Blivion.
“And I thought ‘Oblivion’ was a cool name,” she shares.
Using a movie for inspiration regarding her name only seems right, because when she’s not working at Staples, she’s an “avid movie watcher.” On top of that, Kaeden works on different projects in her free time, from music to art.
As for where the name “Staples Baddie” came from, she shares that it “just kinda happened” with her posts going viral.
“I never said it till others kinda coined the term for me,” she tells Parade. But that doesn’t change how she feels about the moniker. “I frankly love it. It’s recognizable and iconic.”
The "Staples Baddie" discourse all began because Kaeden started making TikToks. But there’s more to it than just that.
She tells Parade that she started working at Staples because of her background in graphic design. Plus, she needed a job (relatable). And then she got the idea to create TikTok videos showing off Staples’s services people don’t know about and therefore don’t use.
“I started posting because I just wanted to,” she states. “I never got to do some things at work and wanted to send out some direct mail, so I just simply [did] that.”
Oblivion gave more insight into her thought process in a Feb. 9 video, sharing that what started as jokey videos highlighting her job while playing into memes turned into a way for her to dig into the cool things at Staples.
“I was thinking to myself how little certain services get used, and I was kinda sad I had never done them before, honestly, because when you work there, you see all these options… and you think, ‘I want to do that,’” she said in the video as she’s also doing her makeup. “So I was like, ‘Come on, get some direct mail.’”
Kaeden explained that she obviously can’t play around too much with Staples’s resources without a reason to, so she wanted other people to order and take advantage of these services. She did this by using current or past viral memes and language that would entice people to check it out. All while having fun with it, of course.
“When I found out all we can do at Staples, I was so floored," she explained in the video. "I thought that was so cool, to be able to help people, like, ‘Yeah, we absolutely can do that.’”
She’s worked “more basic retail jobs” in the past, but they all “didn’t eat” like she wanted them to. So this was her chance to be creative. In the video, she also said that in addition to the official Staples account commenting on her videos and following her, PR for Staples reached out to the store she works at to say, “We’re loving this, this is great.”
“I really just enjoy it, it’s really fun," she stated. "I get to be passionate about my job, I get to bring sales into my job... I’ve never felt job security before, but now I do, I guess. This is great.”
Related: What Is ‘Group 7’ on TikTok? The Trend, Explained
The Staples Baddie has gained a lot of traction for herself and, of course, Staples, and not only creates content that entertains people as they’re scrolling their FYPs, but also actually generates sales. There are tons of videos like Hallman’s, which we mentioned at the top, that show people going to this office supply store because of Oblivion. And people are commenting, saying that they even switched over their business’s orders to Staples because of her influence.
Katie Omstead—the President at Lo & Sons, who also makes PR and marketing analysis content on TikTok under the handle @ktomstead—made a video on Feb. 12 that called Oblivion a “content and marketing genius,” and shared what Staples should do going forward.
“Just a scan of the comments on any of these videos will show you that people are thinking about Staples more than ever before, they’re shopping there because of this, they’re actually moving away from competitors,” she stated.
While Staples’s official TikTok account hasn’t posted anything about the Staples Baddie, they have liked comments asking about/for her (and trust us, those kinds of comments are flooding their posts). As Oblivion shared in that Feb. 9 video, they’ve told her themselves that they love her content. And in a Feb. 21 video, she shared that they sent her a custom, branded care package expressing their gratitude.
Omstead stated that, for Staples’s sake, it will hopefully stay that way and not turn into a Bauer Hockey fail. She also shared that their virality right now is a “big mutual benefit” for both Kaeden and Staples, and they should try to “keep the ball rolling.”
“This is truly just employee-generated content at its best, where it’s reigniting and sparking interest in a brand,” she said. “The best brands will move fast and take advantage of these quick but powerful pop culture moments. And here’s to hoping Staples is one of them.”
Related: TikTok’s ‘Holy Airball’ Trend Is Putting the Spotlight on Celebrity Kids—And It’s Legendary
As for how Kaeden feels about all of the “Staples Baddie” attention?
“I’ve loved going viral and being the ‘talk of the town,’” she tells Parade. “I have so many fun events coming up and a lot of great opportunities. I am so grateful for the amazing reception.”
We asked her how work has been since shooting to viral stardom, and she simply says that “work’s great.” And as you can imagine, she gets “recognized every shift.”
“I feel good about what I’m doing when I see reactions like that,” she shares. “I’m glad people can trust my options and know I just want to help.”
Things aren’t slowing down for Oblivion, and she continues making informative—yet fun—content about her job at Staples. Whether it’s teaching people that “they can dye-cut anything” for cutouts or how to order an art print, or showcasing the products they sell in-store, she’s still clocked in as a Print Specialist and the Staples Baddie.
Many would argue that money can’t buy this kind of PR, and that’s all thanks to the person behind the camera. As for what’s next?
“I hope to become a star,” Kaeden says.

56 Years Ago, ‘The Brady Bunch’ Had Its First Big Celebrity Guest Star—And It Was a Dream Come True for One Cast Member
The Brady Bunch welcomed many celebrity guest stars appearing as themselves over its five-season run, but one of the biggest ones came in the show’s first season.
Before Joe Namath, Davy Jones, or Don Ho made cameos on the classic comedy series, actor Desi Arnaz Jr. paid a visit to see eldest Brady daughter, Marcia (Maureen McCormick). The episode was titled “The Possible Dream,” and it aired on February 27, 1970, on ABC.
In the episode, Marcia is distressed when her diary, which is filled with notes about her love for the son of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, gets mixed in with books for a charity drive. Luckily, the diary is found, and as a bonus, the family’s housekeeper, Alice (Ann B. Davis), who is friendly with Ball's housekeeper, gets Arnaz Jr. to pay Marcia a visit to cheer her up.
“The Possible Dream” episode aired when Arnaz Jr, then 17, was a star on his famous mother’s CBSsitcomThe Lucy Show.
Speaking to the Television Academy Foundation in an interview, Brady Bunch matriarch Florence Henderson recalled Arnaz Jr.’s time on the set.
“Well, he was, you know, so cute and such a hunk, and I think at one point the Brady kids and Desi shared the same social worker or the same teacher,” she recalled. “And he was on the Paramount lot, so that was kind of fun.”

In his tell-all book, Growing Up Brady, cast member Barry Williams (Greg on the show), wrote that McCormick, who was 13 at the time, was thrilled to meet her real-life idol.
“While Marcia Brady’s dream of dreams was to someday become Mrs. Desi Arnaz Jr., Maureen McCormick may have had similar aspirations," Williams wrote. "She remembers that even as they met, she felt sparks, and while their age difference loomed large enough to effectively keep them apart in 1970 (Maureen was only 13 at the time), it proved a much less formidable obstacle several years later when she and Desi would meet again, rekindle those sparks, and begin dating.”

Eight years after their Brady Bunch scene, McCormick and Arnaz Jr. co-starred in an episode of Fantasy Island. The 1978 episode was titled “Best Seller/The Tomb,” and McCormick and Arnaz’s characters ended up as a couple.
McCormick married her husband, Michael Cummings, in 1985, but she looks back fondly on appearing in two TV episodes with Arnaz Jr. In January 2024, she posted still photos from her Brady Bunch and Fantasy Island scenes with Arnaz to Instagram and wrote, “Happy Birthday Desi Arnaz Jr.! Lucky me to have worked with you twice! Sending lots of love😘🥰🎂.”

Why did Bridgerton change Sophie Beckett’s name to Sophie Baek?Bridgerton Season 4 is based on Julia Quinn's third novel, An Offer from a Gentleman. In the book, we meet Sophie Beckett, but in the Netflix adaptation, her name is changed to Sophie Baek. This was a deliberate choice to honor Ha's Korean heritage, and they used a last name that started with the letter "B" because Sophie's initial is so important in the story.
Ha was thrilled about this decision. “A name is the first bit of identity that you share with the world, and that’s why changing a name can be so powerful,” she told Netflix Tudum. “To make Sophie’s name fit someone who looks like me is really empowering. All credit to Jess Brownell, our showrunner.”
