1981 No. 1 New Wave Hit Quietly Introduced the World to Mainstream Rap

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:35am

In 1981, the band Blondie topped the Billboard charts with the song  “Rapture.” The song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on March 28, 1981, and stayed there for two weeks.

The song, written by bandmates Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, appeared on the 1980 album Autoamerican, which previously featured the No. 1 hit "The Tide Is High.”

Unlike the reggae-tinged “The Tide Is High,” “Rapture” took inspiration from New York's burgeoning underground rap scene—and it was one of the first mainstream pop songs to feature a section of rap vocals. Heavy rotation on MTV also gave the song a huge audience.

Fab 5 Freddy received a shout-out and appeared in the music video

The lyrics to "Rapture" feature a nod to pioneering NYC rapper Fab 5 Freddy (Freddy Brathwaite), who also appeared in a street scene in the music video.

While Sugarhill Gang’s 1979 song “Rapper’s Delight” is often credited with bringing the rap/hip-hop genre to a mainstream audience, Harry once noted that her song was the first No. 1 to do so.

“We had the first number on,” Harry told Westchester magazine. “I put quotes around ‘rap,’ because it’s not strictly or truly a rap song; it’s an homage. We really loved what was going on. We were at a street level at the time, and we saw the kids doing what they did and what it meant, and I felt like, This is really important stuff. This is giving a voice to a lot of kids.’”

“Up until then, the only outlet for Black musicians was R&B, so this was major!” she added. “In a way, I felt that maybe I was taking advantage of a situation. It was a gamble; we had no idea that it would go to number one. I’m proud of the fact that we did the first rap song that had its own music.”

In a separate interview with The Current, Harry said she felt “very fortunate” to be under the influence of Grandmaster Flash and the Funky Four Plus One More.

“Up until that time, rap did not have its own songs, it usually just used rhythm tracks from other artists like Chic, with scratching and turntables,”  she noted. “When we did ’Rapture,’ we built rap into and around the song, so I think that was our contribution to the whole thing."

Debbie Harry called ‘Rapture’ a ‘breath of fresh air’

In “Rapture”, Harry performs a half-spoken-word, half-rapped verse after singing other parts of the song.

The Blondie frontwoman told Dazed Digital that the song captures the full essence of her band, also known for hits such as ”Call Me,” “One Way or Another,” and “Heart of Glass.”

“What happens in ‘Rapture’ is very comprehensive,” Harry explained. “It took a form of music that was, or still is, very modern and can be very political. Rap and hip-hop songs back then didn’t have their own songs. Rappers would just rap on somebody else’s music. [‘Rapture’] was crafted specifically for that rap. Until then, that hadn’t been done. It was a breath of fresh air.”

Burger King Is Overhauling the Whopper for the First Time in a Decade

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:30am

Big news is coming to one of the most famous fast-food sandwiches in history. Burger King is making changes to its most iconic menu item, and I'm so excited to try it. The Whopper has been a staple of the brand for decades, known for its flame-grilled flavor and stacked toppings. Now, after years of staying mostly the same, this classic is getting a refresh.

The update marks the first major change to the Whopper in nearly ten years. For a fast-food burger that has been around since the 1950s, that is a big deal. Burger King says the goal is not to change what people love but to improve the overall experience. That means small but meaningful upgrades from the bun to the packaging.

What's New About the Whopper

Burger King

The core of the Whopper is still the same. It continues to feature more than a quarter pound of 100% flame-grilled beef. The smoky taste that has defined this Burger King favorite remains front and center. But now the sandwich comes with updates inspired by customer feedback.

One of the biggest changes is the bun. Burger King is using a more premium bun that tastes better and feels fresher. The toppings are also getting attention. The fast-food burger will be stacked tall with freshly cut onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce and pickles. The mayonnaise has been improved as well, giving the sandwich a smoother flavor.

Another noticeable change is the packaging. The Whopper will now be served in a box instead of traditional wrapping. This helps keep the burger looking and tasting the way it was meant to. It also makes it easier to handle, especially for larger sandwiches that are loaded with toppings.

Why This Matters for Burger King Fans

Burger King

Because the Whopper is such an important part of the menu, even small changes can feel significant. Burger King says the updates are based on guest feedback and are meant to improve consistency and quality. For fans who love the classic taste, the good news is that the flame-grilled beef remains the same. The upgrades focus on enhancing the bun, toppings and overall presentation.

Fast-food trends continue to shift toward better ingredients and improved quality. By refreshing its most famous sandwich, Burger King is showing that even longtime favorites can evolve. For customers who already enjoy the Whopper, this overhaul may make it even more appealing. And for anyone who has not tried it in a while, now might be the perfect time to give this iconic fast food burger another look.

Lauryn Williams Opens Up About Athlete Money Struggles After 2026 Winter Olympics

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:20am

The 2026 Winter Olympics are officially in the books, and what a run for Team USA.

A record-shattering 12 gold medals. Alysa Liu becoming the first American woman in 24 years to win figure skating gold. The men’s hockey team beating Canada in overtime for its first Olympic gold since the 1980 “Miracle on Ice.”

And then, in a moment that went viral for all the wrong reasons, multiple athletes watched their medals crack or detach mid-celebration — a reminder that Olympic “gold” is actually 92.5% silver with just six grams of gold plating. They haven’t been solid gold since 1912, according to CBS News

Modern day Olympic Medals are basically worthless, sterling silver and a Gold Coating!
A Gold Medal isn’t really Gold anymore since 1912. pic.twitter.com/r3lETkIigJ

— Johnny Midnight ⚡️ (@its_The_Dr) February 14, 2026

It’s a fitting metaphor for a system that celebrates its athletes loudly and compensates them far more quietly. Earlier this month, Fortune reported that many Olympic athletes earn little to nothing directly from competing, often juggling multiple jobs while absorbing training costs that can reach well into the five or even six figures each year.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Recent headlines have made that reality harder to ignore. In January, Travis and Jason Kelce donated $10,000 so U.S. hockey player Laila Edwards’ family could attend the Games. The year before, Flavor Flav stepped in as an official sponsor of USA Water Polo after team captain Maggie Steffens spoke publicly about athletes needing second and third jobs to keep competing. Other athletes have openly discussed turning to subscription platforms like OnlyFans to help fund training and travel.

That backdrop is what four-time Olympian Lauryn Williams says people often miss when they picture Olympic success. "The majority are not earning massive endorsement deals or multimillion-dollar salaries," Williams, 42, told Parade exclusively. "Many are living on stipends, part-time work, or inconsistent sponsorship income that can change year to year or disappear after an injury or Olympic cycle."

Williams is the first American woman to medal in both the Summer and Winter Olympics — silver in the 100-meter dash in Athens, gold in the 4x100 relay in London, and silver in bobsled in Sochi. A chance conversation with hurdler Lolo Jones led her to try the sport just six months before competing. Today, she’s a Certified Financial Planner and founder of Worth Winning, a virtual firm she built after realizing how confusing the financial system can be for athletes and young professionals.

View this post on Instagram

Her path into finance was shaped by experience. In her early twenties, Williams landed a six-figure Nike deal and hired a financial advisor who sold her a million-dollar life insurance policy she didn’t need. “I assumed that if someone had the title, they must be acting in my best interest,” she said. She eventually traded that income for a $12-an-hour financial planning internship, a long bet on herself that paid off.

💪 SIGN UP for tips to stay healthy & fit with the top moves, clean eats, health trends & more delivered right to your inbox twice a week 💪

That work has given Williams a front-row seat to how unpredictable athlete income can be. “I once worked with an Olympic gold medalist who earned $100,000 in the year they won their medal — and just $30,000 the following year,” she said. “Neither number fits the stereotype of what people think it means to be an Olympian. That’s why some athletes end up in debt — not because they were irresponsible, but because the cost of competing at the highest level is enormous, and the financial return on that investment isn’t the same for everyone.”

It’s that financial gap gold investment app Vaulted, backed by McAlvany Financial Group’s 50-plus years in precious metals, is aiming to address. The company announced today it will award “$30,000 in pure, physical gold through its app for each first-place finish for both individual athlete contributors and overall team efforts — assets that don’t just sit on a mantle but actually accrue in value.”

View this post on Instagram

“We’re moving the conversation from trophies to true wealth,” Vaulted CEO David McAlvany said in the official press release. “These athletes have produced so much value for their country, yet they retain the least financial security. We’re giving them $30,000 in real gold that they can hold, track or sell right from their phone. It’s wealth that works as hard as they do.”

Williams says that distinction — having something athletes can actually control — is what makes the difference. "Recognition is meaningful, but recognition you can actually use is what creates real opportunity," she explained. "The no-strings-attached approach gives athletes the power to choose what's right for them."

🍳 SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & fun food news in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter 🍳

McAlvany told Parade the idea was personal from the start.

"I’ve been locked in as a fan of elite athletes since I was a child. We all see the highlight reels, but I've always taken notice of the quieter stories of financial struggles these competitors face," he said. "A staggering number live below the poverty line. They delay careers and shoulder massive medical costs, all to reach a pinnacle that — financially speaking — is often a cliff. That felt wrong to me. If you achieve the absolute limit of human performance, that victory shouldn't be a liability. It should be a foundation, one that our company can help build up.”

As for Williams, her message for athletes watching from home is simple: "Your journey isn't measured only by your achievements — it's measured by who you become along the way... so get your a** off the couch and get started on your next big thing."

'Love Story' Left Out Carolyn Bessette’s Biggest Influence on JFK Jr.’s Life

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:08am

Ryan Murphy's Love Story is captivating audiences with the tale of a sweeping political romance, but the real relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette was far more complicated than the series suggests.

While the dramatized retelling streamlines timelines and amplifies emotion, it leaves out one defining truth: Bessette wasn’t just the woman at the center of JFK Jr.’s life — she was a powerful influence shaping it behind the scenes.

The series briefly shows Bessette weighing in on the fledgling political magazine George, but in reality, she played a far more hands-on role in shaping the publication. "John said, 'My girlfriend is gonna stop by. Show her the [magazine 's] logos.' I thought, 'Oh no,' " George magazine's art director, Matt Berman, shared with People magazine in 2002. "All of a sudden, I saw her looking in. She put her hand out and said, 'I'm Carolyn. Hi.' Then she started looking over my shoulder, eating potato chips."

Berman recalled how crumbs from the chips Bessette was eating fell everywhere, leaving her "greasy fingerprints all over my screen. She was doing it on purpose. She knew I was nervous and wanted to make me feel comfortable."

Bessette wanted to see a representation of someone all-American on the cover of the first issue, which ultimately evolved into a bold image of Cindy Crawford dressed as George Washington. She also had a say in the graphics and logos.

Berman recalled being initially nervous meeting Bessette, but quickly warmed to her contribution. “I thought, Oh God, this fancy girl from Calvin Klein is going to just totally make my life miserable. And it was the opposite,” he told Vanity Fair. “She saw what I was trying to do, especially with tough subject matter.”

As a result, Kennedy would encourage Berman to go with his and Bessette's gut on what might work visually.

“So John would say, ‘Make it so you and Carolyn like it,’” he recalled, adding that while Bessette's touches were everywhere, she was never officially on the editorial staff. “She’d come and hang out for a couple hours, and then we’d all go have dinner at Odeon or something,” he recounted. “But she wasn’t in editorial meetings or photo shoots or anything.”

George magazine launched in 1995 to significant fanfare and gained early traction, but folded in 2001, two years after Kennedy, Bessette, and her sister died in a plane crash, amid declining ad sales.

This Steamy Enemies-to-Lovers Romance Is One of Spotify’s Top Audiobooks Right Now

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:06am

There’s more than one way to enjoy a good book these days. Whether it be cozying up to your favorite book club pick courtesy of Oprah Winfrey or Reese Witherspoon, or watching a riveting adaptation of a favorite novel like Netflix’s latest novel-to-screen drop, People We Meet on Vacation, based on Emily Henry’s book, “reading” takes on many new meanings thanks to technology.

One of the most popular ways to take in a book is through an audiobook. Spotify just launched dedicated audiobook charts in both the U.S. and the U.K. Spotify’s audiobook charts update weekly and show the most listened-to audiobooks overall as well as within key genres like mystery, sci-fi, self-help and more. For those of us who can’t get enough of romance and romantasy books, we’re honing in on the romance category. Spotify’s current most-listened-to romance audiobook comes as no surprise, considering the book’s screen adaptation on HBO Max, which has turned into one of the biggest pop culture moments of the year so far.

Spotify’s new ranking feature makes it easier than ever for listeners to discover trending titles. The dedicated charts highlight the platform’s most popular audiobooks across genres, offering insight into what users are streaming each week. Why Heated Rivalry Is Climbing the Romance Charts View this post on Instagram

So what are Spotify’s romance audiobook lovers listening to? Heated Rivalry. The audiobook version of Rachel Reid’s novel is one of the top romance audiobooks on the platform. Narrated by Tor Thom, who also voiced Reid’s audiobooks Game Changer and Tough Guy, the audiobook has sparked online debates about how well the narration matches readers’ expectations.

The popularity of the Heated Rivalry audiobook can be attributed to the success of Reid’s book and the HBO Max series, as well as the passionate response fans have had to the story of two characters whose initial clash turns into romance. The narration has also been widely praised by listeners.

Many of the highest-ranking romance audiobooks on Spotify are associated with adaptations or inspirations from TV series that gained dedicated fan followings eager to experience the characters and storylines in a new medium.

Of course, the success of the Heated Rivalry audiobook is no surprise considering the mass appeal of the HBO Max series. A classic enemies-to-lovers story arc, a staple trope in romance books, Heated Rivalry blends emotional tension with moments of heartfelt connection that keep listeners engaged through twists, sparks and richly crafted character development.

Clocking in at 9 hours and 32 minutes, the Heated Rivalry audiobook was released on October 21, 2019. The audiobook earned a 4.8-star rating from Spotify listeners.

When Does 'The Pitt' Season 2 Episode 8 Come Out? How and Where to Watch

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:00am

The Pitt continues to pick up steam with its more emotional storylines of the season. After Louie's death last week, it was hard to imagine things getting any heavier, but the writers managed to keep the mood more serious this week as a victim of sexual assault found herself conflicted about whether or not to move forward with a forensic assessment and police report.

With Baby Jane Doe still waiting on a peds transfer, terminal cancer patient Roxie hoping for an inpatient bed to free up to help manage her pain (and, perhaps, her death, as many fans suspect), several new trauma patients, and a sudden shift to manual charting to prevent a cyber attack taking out the ER, anything could happen this week on The Pitt Season 2.

Here's everything you need to know about the new episode airing tonight.

Every new episode of The Pitt becomes available on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT on HBO Max.

What will happen in The Pitt Season 2, Episode 8 tonight?

With Episode 7 ending on an emotional note as sexual assault victim Ilana Miller took a much-needed break from her forensic exam—in which Nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa), the only SANE (or Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) available, provided emotional support while documenting and preserving all of the evidence—we expect Episode 8 will kick off with Ilana choosing whether or not to continue with the collection of evidence.

Not to mention multiple trauma patients with their lives hanging in the balance, deaf patient Harlow Graham still waiting for an interpreter to communicate her medical complaint, and an unidentified baby causing distraction all around—all while Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball) continues to beg for Dr. Robby's (Noah Wyle) forgiveness.

And, of course, everything is going manual after two local hospitals were hit with cyber attacks. It seems the added stress of that on top of the overflow of patients may have the senior attendings starting to turn on each other, and the tension is palpable through the screen in the preview for Episode 8.

Beloved Rom-Com Is Being Reimagined as a TV Series With Emma Roberts As the Star

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:00am

Emma Roberts is set to star in a new series reimagining of the fan-favorite rom-com, Bride Wars.

A new take on the 2009 hit film starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, Bride Wars the TV series is currently in development at Peacock, Deadline reports.

The series will follow a "big-city wedding planner" (played by Roberts) who arrives in a small North Carolina town and "sparks an epic showdown with a beloved local planner," according to the publication.

"As the two women battle to plan the same wedding, their rivalry quickly escalates into a larger clash over friendship, community, and, ultimately, love."

In the original film, Hudson and Hathaway played best friends Liv and Emma, who grew up dreaming of their weddings at the Plaza Hotel. After a booking mixup lands both of their weddings on the same day, the two brides battle it out by sabotaging one another in the weeks leading up to their big day.

For the TV version, Roberts is the only cast member who has been announced so far. The American Horror Story alum will also serve as an executive producer through her production company Belletrist.

The new project will be written by multi-Emmy Award winner Sascha Rothchild, who is also one of the executive producers.

While many fans of the original 2009 flick were delighted to hear about the new series reimagining, others weren't so taken with the idea.

One user on Instagram called the new project "totally unnecessary," while others criticized Hollywood for lacking "originality."

"Get ready for a flop remake. Because not enough people want this. This is lazy," another skeptic added.

Meanwhile, others were excited to see what Roberts and Rothchild will do with the new series, with several users celebrating the beloved rom-com "coming back in some way shape and form."

Stanley Tumblers Have Officially Landed at HomeGoods—Why Aren't Fans Happy About It?

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 7:00am

The ever-popular metal tumblers from Stanley 1913 have been spotted at HomeGoods and TJMaxx, but, apparently, picking up the pricy accessories for a fraction of the price is not what fans of the viral brand have been looking for.

"The evolution of a trend," as one commenter described it, elicited clashing opinions from the internet after an Instagram Reel posted by influencer peachyyymaddii, whose real name is Madison Rogenski, went viral, showing off several shelves stocked full of the cult-favorite tumbler brand in every shade of the rainbow.

Previously Dedicated Customers Suggested It Was the Death of the Brand's Popularity

"It was a good run while it lasted🫡," the lifestyle-focused content creator quipped in the caption, adding, "RIP Stanley" over the video. It was set to an audio clip that went "I think I'm gonna die in this house," from the Charli XCX song featuring John Cale, and appears to suggest that the brand's presence in the beloved store means that its trendiness just went from 100 to zero real quick.

With prices ranging from $16.99 to $19.99—an impressive cut from the typical $50+ retail tag—many who'd never pulled the trigger on the reusable water bottles felt ready to give them a shot.

"Oh, I guess I'll buy one now LOL," one commenter acquiesced, as another joked, "Sounds like it’s my time to shine then! 😂."

"alright, let me finally go get one 😂😂," someone else caved.

View this post on Instagram

Most, though, were simply bewildered by the backlash over getting the products at better price points.

"I’m so confused. Why are these girls upset they can get their favorite water bottle for cheaper at their favorite store? Help me understand please," one begged.

The ‘Consumerism’ of It All Left Much To Be Desired

It sparked an extensive debate about the perceived status elevation associated with viral product trends similar to the limited edition Stanley collections, and how making them more affordable and accessible suddenly makes them seem less desirable to certain shoppers.

"So it’s not a trend anymore because it’s easily accessible to everyone??? Hmmmm," one called out, while another declared, "Consumerism trends is a disease."

"Honestly, this just goes to show that everyone is a follower and the consumerism trend is absolutely absurd," someone else agreed.

"it was never about a superior product. It was about exclusivity," one summed up the arguments.

Stanley's newest releases are often difficult to come by, with in-store drops leading to pre-opening lines, and even fights among those itching to grab one before they're gone. Medium-length hair is the ultimate sweet spot. Long enough to play with layers and short enough to feel fresh. But if yours has started to fall flat—or feels like it’s stuck in that awkward in-between stage—a shaggy, choppy cut might be exactly what your hair’s craving.

The modern shag isn’t about rock-and-roll rebellion (unless you want it to be). Today’s versions are softer, airier and far more wearable with strategic layers that create movement, texture that builds natural volume and choppy ends that keep everything from looking too precious. And according to the pros, it’s one of the easiest ways to add body to hair without sacrificing length.

The key is tailoring the layers to your hair texture and face shape so the cut enhances what you already have—whether that’s fine strands that need lift, thick hair that needs lightness or natural waves that deserve to shine. Read on for the nine best shaggy, choppy cuts for medium-length, layered hair, according to celebrity stylists.

What Does a Choppy Layered Haircut Look Like?

There isn't a one-size-fits-all formula for hair, so no two cuts are the same. A good stylist should curate your 'do to your unique face shape, features and goals. And that's especially true with shaggy cuts—though there are a few rules of thumb to follow.

"The shag is such an iconic haircut usually with shorter layers around the crown and the cheekbones," says Gregory Patterson, celebrity hairstylist (he's worked on the strands of Meryl Streep and Britney Spears) and styling expert for Sally Beauty. "It looks great with a fringe of many iterations," and framing layers to help "complement the face shape."

The bottom line? Shags can be styled however you want, yet somehow never lose their effortless appearance. It's magic in the form of scissors and hairspray.

What Face Shape Do Shags Look Good On?

"Shags can really be tailored and customized to flatter every face shape," says Patterson. And no, that isn't a lie—shags really are the hair equivalent of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

All it takes is sitting down with your favorite stylist and getting granular about your hair goals. Inspo pics are always key, but talking about how you want the hair to fall, the ideal texture you're looking to achieve, what styles may best suit your face shape... these are all tiny details that add up to curating the perfectly tailored 'do.

9 Best Shaggy, Choppy Cuts for Medium-Length, Layered Hair, According to Stylists1. Structured Crop

Rodin Eckenroth/WireImage

Lisa Rinna is the queen of shaggy haircuts—and though her crop is on the short side, it is perfect for her features. The shorter layers and choppy ends creating "edgy volume" that "elongates her neck beautifully in the back," says Patterson, creating a "chic and effortless" finish.

Styling at home is easy. Simply apply your go-to heat protectant, then add in some texture spray or mousse to "help support the style as you blow dry," Patterson says.

When the hair is about 80% dry, start using your fingers to create extra lift and texture. If your goal is a more polished finish, Patterson recommends using a "small round brush to flip out" the ends. Finish it all with some styling cream and hairspray, and you've got texture for days.

2. Shaggy Bob

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for Spotify

Bobs are the haircut of the moment, so why not give it some edge with shaggy layers? Julianne Hough showcases just how flawless the style can look, proving that wispy layers aren't just reserved for longer cuts.

"The face frame layering is really etched out lending heavier to that shag vibe," says Patterson. "It works to meet a slightly longer length around the rest of the bob shape." In short, you get that fun texture and layering, but without the hair feel overly full and weighed down.

When headed to the salon, keep the cut "pretty square" to ensure the strength at the bottom is the focal point. And of course, always use a styling cream like the ION Illuminating Creme to keep things "soft and pieced out."

3. Classy Mullet

Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Don't let the word mullet scare you—the style in 2026 is modernized and refined in way that's totally glam. And nobody rocks a mullet like Miley Cyrus, who has a shorter textured crop top and fringe that allows for extra volume at the crown, Patterson says.

Plus, the shaggy perimeter and slighter longer length"allows the hair to flow towards the back, creating endless styling possibilities, he explains.

Enjoy playing with the texture when styling at home, incorporating a pomade or texture paste (like SexyHair Styling Texture Paste) with your fingertips to shape and bring out that rugged edges. Mix it up, be playful and don't be afraid to embrace the natural shape of this style!

4. Octopus Cut

Gilbert Flores/Variety via Getty Images

"Jenna Ortega's razor sharp hair is perfection," says Patterson. Why, you ask? Because it's a flawless blend of playfulness and polish. The key to this shaggy octopus cut is the "intentionality in the layering around the face," and the long, wispy curtain fringe coupled with a "soft and shiny blow dry style" that keeps things punk yet sweet.

When headed to the salon, Patterson says to have your stylist focus on shorter layers cut with a razor at the crown, and longer layering techniques throughout the rest of the 'do to channel Ortega's airy yet voluminous vibe.

5. Curly Lob

Taylor Hill/Getty Images

Texture is key with shaggy haircuts, so it's the ideal cut for those who want to embrace their curls. A classic curly lob helps to define your curls while simultaneously creating volume and shape so nothing is falling flat, Patterson explains.

The "shorter hair pushes longer strands throughout the interior of the cut," which is what helps to create Alanna Arrington's sculptural chin-grazing silhouette, he says. And though it may seem intimidating, it's actually super easy to style at home—all you have to do is add some hydrating curl mousse to the hair (Patterson recommends "pancake-ing your hands palm to palm" to smooth and saturate the curls with product) and use your fingers to shape. That's it. Let the hair sit until the product is totally dry, then let the curls shake out how they want to.

6. Wispy Bangs

Mike Marsland/WireImage

Adding a fringe to a shag cut is like adding mixing peanut butter and jelly: it just works. Just take it from Suki Waterhouse, whose long, wispy bangs create and effortless yet rugged curtain around the face, perfectly framing each feature.

For styling at home, celebrity hairstylist and TRESemmé brand partner Hayley Heckmann recommends whipping out the flat iron—we love the T3 SinglePass StyleMax—and "doing a mix of an 'S' wave pattern" by taking small sections and bending them back and forth from scalp to ends. Add some texture spray and seal it with TRESemme Extra Hold Hair Spray for effortless waves that last from day to night with ease.

7. Piecey Ends

Jeff Spicer/Getty Images

Shag cuts can be tailored to flatter just about anyone—but the key to that versatility is in the piecey, unstructured ends. These help to balance the tiered layers of a choppy 'do, creating a "textured look that gives hair movement, volume and an edgy feel," says Heckmann.

Camila Cabello's version is refined and polished all without losing that avant-garde style—perfect for anyone looking to try a choppy haircut without going going all-in. When styling, be sure to use plenty of heat protectant and hair serum so the end result is sleek, hydrated and glossy.

8. The OG Shag

Rob Loud/Getty Images

Meg Ryan's iconic 'do is "all about the textured defined perimeter," says Patterson, who adds that the choppy interior and almost-disconnected crown all work together to create something truly magical.

But be warned, when headed to the salon, there is a fine line between "texture" and "thinning," he says. If your stylist gets too happy with the shears, the cut may look amazing in the chair, but you'll notice it starting to feel "puffy and bubble-like" in a few weeks, he warns.

To avoid this, ask your stylist to control the placement of the texture and shape so the cut can "grow out and evolve together beautifully."

9. Rounded Lob

Toni Anne Barson Archive/WireImage

Bridget Moynahan's rounded lob hits all the notes. Her hair is layered in a rounded shape (shorter in the front, longer in the back—though not quite a mullet), with a fringe that is cut a bit shorter, which keeps "the overall look really modern," says Patterson.

Plus, it's a perfect length to show off the decolletage and open up the face. For embracing Bridget's airy style, start by applying your go-to styling cream to damp hair, scrunching to activate the waves. Then, using a curling iron, size and shape your waves in alternating patterns, selecting a few random pieces around the face to frame your features. "It's a great trick we use to give an overall feeling of polished-chaos to the style," says Patterson. Add some dry shampoo to keep texture and volume to a maximum, and you're good to go.

Jeff Probst Breaks Down the ‘Survivor 50’ Premiere — From Kyle’s Scary Injury to a Negotiation You Didn’t See (Exclusive)

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 6:55am

Survivor 50 established from the jump that it is not playing around. Within minutes of the 24 players arriving in the game, they were told that they would be given no rice, and they had to compete to earn their basic supplies. That competition turned into the surprising return of Exile Island, which had Q Burdette and Ozzy Lusth forced to spend the entire first day of the season away from their tribe. The first Immunity Challenge spotlighted individual accountability, as six-time player Cirie Fields wilted with every doomed throw of the monkey's fist. But the person most hampered by the afternoon was Kyle Fraser, who ended up rupturing his Achilles tendon trying to get up a wall.

And that was just in the first three days!

In fact, so much happened that, when Parade got the chance to go out onto the set of Survivor 50, we weren't able to have our usual conversation with Jeff Probst following the first Tribal Council. Instead, we got the chance to sit down with the host and executive producer in the hours between the challenge and the vote. It turned out to be an interesting time capsule, as we had not yet seen Jenna Lewis-Dougherty become the first boot of the season, Kyle get medically removed from the game, or the discovery of the enigmatic "Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol." Much like Probst's beloved on-island after show, it was instead an opportunity to get the Emmy winner's raw thoughts in the moment without any knowledge of the results.

In our interview, Probst explains the return of Exile Island, reacts to Cirie's challenge faux pas, and gets into Angelina Keeley attempting to negotiate for a tarp (which, ultimately, would not make the edit).

🔥Don’t miss our weekly Survivor newsletter! Sign up to get Mike Bloom’s exclusive interviews with the players and the latest news about the show right to your inbox.🔥

Let's talk about what you chose to do for the "Fight for Supplies" this season, with Coach beating Ozzy and Q, forcing them to stay overnight on Exile Island. What prompted the return of that twist?
We didn't have a lot of freedom early on to know what the fans were going to vote for. Yeah, Exile is a format element, so we can put it in if we want, the same as we could have with Edge of Extinction. I don't see Exile as a twist. To me, that is a format. So that was the one thing we thought. "Well, no matter what the fans vote for, we can do Exile, because that's part of our format."

So honestly, part of the reason was we didn't know what the fans were going to vote for, so we said we've got to have at least one thing in there. It's fun. And the idea of the players going out thinking they know what's going to happen, and then one player winning and leaving, and then the two others realizing at that point, "Oh my God, you're telling me I'm on Exile Island, and I'm not going home?" And then you have the other two tribes, thinking,
"Where are they? What is taking so long?" And then the sun sets, and they're still not there.

That's just a really fun element that we've never done before, so it felt like 50 was a fun time to do it. And the impact on the game is [that] you're missing out on an entire day of bonding. All your tribe mates are gonna tell you it doesn't matter. They're gonna say, "No, no, we're so grateful you went out there and fought for us." All you know is, for 24 hours, they've been bonding without me.

What's been so interesting watching these first couple of challenges is that both of them were segmented out to give one or two people different tasks to do. I know when I was talking to John Kirhoffer, he said how it highlights accountability, giving everyone a spotlight for the "hero position."It's a way to show you can't really hide.
Well, definitely for this season. Out of the gate, I remember meeting with the challenge department and saying, "We need showdowns in the first challenge. Individual roles, so that we can watch Coach versus Colby versus Ozzy, or whatever the tribe divisions ended up being." And that just kind of kept playing out, to your point, so that we're able to say you're responsible for this role and only you. And if you can't get this job finished, your tribe's in trouble.

And then, first Immunity Challenge, you see it play out. Why they put Cirie on that part when she could have been gathering coconuts? No idea. But now you got to pay for it. And now Cirie's on a beach somewhere going, "Am I first out? Am I a liability, exposed by the show I love so much?"

I know we're speaking before Tribal Council. What do you think Cirie's chances of survival are?
It'll be really fun to see what is happening on that beach, because Cirie's very clever. But there have to be players right now going, "I mean, what if the next challenge is the same thing? And we've got Cirie on the wrong thing." So I don't know that it's a slam dunk that Cirie survives the first vote.

Related: Jeff Probst Reveals What Shocked Him Most About ‘Survivor 50’ (Exclusive)

Let's talk about the bigger piece of news coming from the challenge: Kyle's injury. I saw that once you noticed his limp, you were constantly checking on him to see if he needed medical, while simultaneously trying to call everything going on with the other two tribes. Walk me through your reaction there.
Those
moments are really just, you just have to kind of fly by the seat of your pants and trust your gut. So I was saying to Kyle, "Are you okay? You've got to tell me if we need to stop, because I don't know." And at first he said, "I'm okay." And then I could see him hesitate. The challenge is still running. And I asked him again, "Kyle, do you need to stop?" And he said, "Yes." Then it's easy. And the players are always cool, yeah. The minute you yell, "Medical, stop!" Everybody stops.

And then the story becomes Kyle, and the question is, how bad is it? We don't know yet. We're optimistic that maybe it's just a sprain, that tomorrow morning, he'll be great. We haven't gotten any updates. It's just you don't want that for anybody.

In a moment that ultimately didn't make the final cut, Angelina Keeley tried to negotiate the fishing kit her tribe had won for a tarp. It did not go well.

Robert Voets/CBS

After the challenge, Angelina put her negotiator hat on, attempting to trade the fishing gear her tribe had won for a tarp. Give me your reaction to that.
I should have been better prepared. She did catch me off guard. But I love it, and I love that Angelina is sincere. She's not doing it as a joke. She literally thought that maybe she could persuade me to give her a tarp instead of fishing gear, knowing full well a tarp is its own different reward. It's too early for that. But I gotta give her credit, man, you don't know unless you ask.

Are you open to bargaining on these rewards if you're not caught off guard
Yes, I'm always open. Even if I'm off guard, I'm always open to it. That was a non-starter. I mean, I like when the players use me either as their foil or their adversary or their improv partner. I love it.

Talk to me more about that. Because returning player seasons come with a different relationship between you and the cast. There seems to be almost more of a looseness when it comes to your conversation. And we even saw it at the marooning, when Q asked if Vatu could go last picking for the "Fight for Supplies," since they won. Talk to me about navigating that give-and-take.
It's a good question. I don't know if I have a great answer. I've done one thing for 25 years: Trusted my gut. And I'm not saying I'm always right. But that's what I do; I trust my gut in the moment. And when Q said that "we should go last," I thought, "You're right, that's fair. And I don't know how else to decide it." That's something I would have said yes to, yeah. So it was great in the moment. And same with Angelina. Had she presented something that sounded reasonable, I would have had no problem saying, "You want to give up your fishing gear in exchange for my hat? Okay, here's my hat. I'm open." But the word you said that I really like is the looseness. Try me! What's the worst that happens?

How long have you been anticipating that rug pull of revealing they would get no rice?
I think that might have been the first, one of the first four things we voted on. I can't remember. But that was when I went, "Oh, please don't give them rice. Just don't give them rice." And then I saw the results and went, "Yes!" But it was close.

You went full Kornacki and revealed the exact percentage results of these votes. Are you going to get that granular in the future?
When it's appropriate. Either I'll tell all of them, or maybe an individual player will learn something, and at the same time, the audience will learn it. I think the question is going to be, as we go a little deeper, what will they do if they find information out? Will they share it honestly? Will they try to create magic out of thin air? That's what I hope. That's what I think I would do. think I would come back from "Fight for Supplies" and say, "Okay, few things going on. Number one, Exile. And number two, I got an idol, and it's good until the Final Three. It's weird!" [Laughs.]

Newly Released Police Video Shows WWE's Vince McMahon in 115 MPH Crash - And His Excuse

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 6:43am

It was his granddaughter's birthday. He needed to get to the next exit.

That was Vince McMahon's explanation to a Connecticut state trooper after police dashcam footage captured the 80-year-old driving his $300,000 Bentley at more than 100 mph on the Merritt Parkway — and then rear-ending another car.

'Yeah, too fast,' the trooper replied.

The July 24, 2025 crash happened in Westport, where McMahon's 2024 Bentley Continental GT was clocked at more than 100 mph before he veered into an adjacent lane, struck a BMW, and careened into a wooden guardrail. A trooper had already activated pursuit lights trying to pull him over before impact. Debris from the crash scattered across both northbound and southbound lanes, striking a third vehicle, a Ford Fusion whose driver, ironically, happened to be wearing a WWE t-shirt.

McMahon told the trooper he saw the flashing lights but said they 'didn't look normal.' He also said he hadn't driven the car in some time. 'It's fast, I'll tell you that,' he said on the bodycam footage. The trooper's response was brief and unimpressed.

The driver of the BMW reported no injuries, though her car sustained visible damage. McMahon's airbag deployed on impact, though he was wearing his seatbelt. All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Related: Neil Gaiman Breaks His Year-Long Silence on Accusations

McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely. A judge later allowed him to enter a pretrial diversion program; the charges would be dismissed upon a $1,000 charitable donation, provided he kept his license and insurance current.

The footage was obtained by the Associated Press through a public records request and released this week.

McMahon built the World Wrestling Federation into a global entertainment phenomenon after buying it from his father in 1982, eventually overseeing its expansion into TKO Group Holdings. But he stepped down as WWE CEO in July 2022 amid a company investigation into sexual misconduct allegations and resigned again in January 2024 as TKO executive chairman after a former WWE employee filed a federal lawsuit alleging sexual trafficking and assault, allegations McMahon has denied. Federal prosecutors dropped their criminal investigation into McMahon earlier this year, though the civil suit remains pending.

David Gilmour’s Best Solo Album Outside Pink Floyd Has Finally Been Ranked

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 6:04am

When it comes to music acts from the ‘60s and ‘70s, not all fan-favorite rock stars were able to break out into successful solo careers. Tom Fogerty found success with Creedence Clearwater Revival, but his solo efforts didn't fare as well. ‘70s and ‘80s icon Dee Dee Ramone, born Douglas Colvin, recorded an ill-fated attempt to become a rap star. Likewise, The Monkees’ Peter Tork’s solo effort didn’t even yield a record deal. Thankfully, solo efforts from members of Pink Floyd, including David Gilmour and Roger Waters, were largely well received and helped establish each as a music icon outside of Pink Floyd.

Though not a founding member of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour is often considered the most talented of the group. Roger Waters fans, we see you. We won’t chime in on the most talented debate. Pink Floyd is known for its experimental, genre-defining sound, only achieved by the talents of all its members.

David Gilmour’s Solo Career

To date, Gilmour has released four solo studio efforts, but his 2006 solo release On an Island has been ranked the best of Gilmour’s solo albums by Ultimate Classic Rock. UCR writes:

“This was just Gilmour's third solo project ever, and first in nearly 20 years. On an Island, as a wee-hours recording, matched that leisurely gait almost song for song. Critics pounced, saying the album sometimes sounded too much like it was: a pet project constructed by a semi-retired 60-something multi-millionaire, hanging out with his wife and buddies (Wright, David Crosby and Graham Nash, Phil Manzanera) aboard a houseboat on the Thames. Thing is, this period of contentment seemed to open him up in new ways.”

Noting Gilmour’s ability to create an entirely different sound from his The Wall/Final Cut era, UCR continues, “On an Island, Gilmour once again inhabited his charmingly pretension-free early musical persona, recapturing the cerulean placidity that could make pre-Dark Side-era Pink Floyd recordings so underrated.”

Musical Style and Collaborations View this post on Instagram

Released in 2006, Gilmour’s On an Island is rooted in blues and art rock and showcases lush orchestrations and a reflective, atmospheric sound. Featuring collaborations with longtime Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright and guest appearances from heavy hitters like David Crosby and Graham Nash, the album leans into themes of morality, peace, and introspection, with Gilmour’s melodic guitar taking center stage.

On an Island debuted at #1 in the U.K. and reached the Top 10 in the U.S. Fans and critics alike appreciated the album’s mellow, understated tone, and Gilmour’s maturing sound rather than an attempt to recreate Pink Floyd’s grand scale.

Fan-Favorite Tracks

Though the album’s success wasn’t driven by radio hits, fan-favorites from the album include “On an Island,” “The Blue,” “Smile,” and “Take a Breath.”

Disney Announces New Attraction for Hollywood Studios

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 6:03am

If you’re a Disney fan, then you’re familiar with the famous Steamboat Willie (AKA Mickey Mouse) animation of him whistling and steering a boat that plays before many popular animated Disney films.

This character first appeared in 1928, and paved the way for the future of animation within the Disney canon. Now, there is a new attraction at Walt Disney Hollywood Studios that celebrates all of the Disney animations, from Steamboat Willie to Moana and everything in between.

The new attraction is called “The Magic of Disney Animation” and it is an interactive, family-centered experience. The area is inside of a large building which is modeled after the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in California, where many of your favorite Disney animations were created.

When you enter the building, you are transported to the world of the workplace of the Disney animators–who in the world of the attraction, have stepped away.

Related: Disney Announces Drone-Filled Nighttime Show Starring Its Biggest Heroes

This entire attraction was inspired by the short film “Disney’s Once Upon A Studio” which was released in 2023. The film begins with a young woman who is an intern at the animation studios in California.

She makes a comment about how much history the studios hold, and a man looks back at the studios and says, “if these walls could talk.” From there, the famous characters in the pictures on the walls come to life and cause shenanigans around the studios.

View this post on Instagram

At the attraction in Hollywood Studios, the fun begins for the guests when all of the cartoons that these animators have created begin to come to life, like in the film.

The guests are then transported to various areas to explore. There are sections where you can learn how to sketch a character yourself, watch a new short film, and even play in an Alice In Wonderland themed playground.

The playground is modeled after the original artwork created by Mary Blair, and includes an oversized flower garden, musical instruments to interact with, a Mad Tea Party play set, and a Tulgey Wood area.

“The Magic of Disney Animation” will open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the summer of 2026.

Meet Paul Anthony Kelly: FX's JFK Jr. and the Internet's New Obsession

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 5:44am

John F. Kennedy Jr. might have been America's prince, but the actor playing him onscreen, Paul Anthony Kelly, has become the king of many hearts online. Like his character in Love Story, who yearns for Carolyn Bessette in the first three episodes, offscreen it's Kelly whom the internet is yearning for. But, just who is the actor behind FX's JFK Jr.? Here's everything to know about Paul Anthony Kelly.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

For starters, is Paul Anthony Kelly single?

Paul Anthony Kelly is indeed off the market. The Love Story actor's real-life leading lady is Syd Widziszewski-Kelly, whom he's been married to since 2023.

Paul commemorated their first wedding anniversary on May 1, 2024, writing on his Instagram: "One year ago we tied the proverbial knot and since that day I have been the happiest and healthiest I think I’ve ever been. I love you more than words will ever do justice. To several lifetimes more... X. @sydwidziszewski."

The couple made a public appearance together in September 2025, walking the red carpet at the Met Opera's Opening Night Gala in New York City.

View this post on Instagram How tall is Paul Anthony Kelly?

According to I Love Models Management—the company that represents him for modeling projects—Kelly stands at 6'2, making him one inch taller than JFK Jr.

Does Paul Anthony Kelly have kids?

On their second wedding anniversary, Syd informed Paul that they were pregnant. The actor revealed to Mel Ottenberg in an interview published on Dec. 17, 2025 that the baby was due in January. He said, "Originally the baby was estimated to come January 7th, which was Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s birthday."

So, who is Paul Anthony Kelly?

Paul is a model-turned-actor from Port McNicoll, Canada. He told Interview that he was scouted for modeling after moving to Toronto and doing that for a while, which eventually brought him to New York. "From there, I really wanted to start acting," he shared.

While modeling was "great work," Paul admittedly "felt pretty pigeonholed." He continued: "I started doing commercials and got picked up by Innovative [Artists]. They took me under their wing for talent and held on to me for like, 10 years, just knowing something would hit. Then I auditioned for this in February."

How did Paul Anthony Kelly get the role of JFK Jr.?

Well, there's no denying Paul's resemblance to President John F. Kennedy'sson. When it came to what the FX show was looking for, executive producer Brad Simpson told PEOPLE: "Part of it was just that sort of '80s, old school masculinity—a man with hair on his chest, sort of Richard Gere, Tom Selleck, the classic chiseled looks—we're not making those guys anymore, for some reason, and he really needed to have that."

Love Story was three weeks away from shooting and still had not cast the role of JFK Jr. "We were about to shut down production and pause because we couldn't find him," Simpson admitted.

Enter Paul. He was among 13 men who came in and did an old-fashioned screen test. "I remember at the screen test, one of the hair and makeup people passed by me, and was like, 'You're crazy if you don't cast him,'" Simpson recalled. "It was just clear that he was JFK."

How did Paul Anthony Kelly prepare to play JFK Jr.?

For Paul, getting John's "vocals down" was said to be one of his top priorities, so he'd listen to the former first son's voice every day.

"He narrates his father's book, Profiles in Courage, so I would listen to that every day before getting to set," the actor revealed to PEOPLE. "I'd do my little breathing exercises and then put that on and do a little hear and repeat."

To prepare for the role, Paul also had "a dialect coach, acting coach, a physical trainer" and "got on a meal plan."

What has Paul Anthony Kelly been in before?

Love Story marks Paul's first major acting role. He previously landed a role in the drama show The Venery of Samantha Bird, which was canceled by Starz before even airing. "I've been auditioning for things for like 10 years. I got a role in a show called The Venery of Samantha Bird. I thought that was my foot in the door, but it never saw the light of day. That’s okay. These things happen," he told Interview.

What has Paul Anthony Kelly said about playing JFK Jr.?

Paul wanted to "do right" by the late son of former President John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy. "Stepping into the characterization of John F. Kennedy Jr. definitely has a lot of weight to it," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Because of that, the care and integrity that I had to bring—to find the truth in the whole story—was essential. A lot of it is imagining what would happen behind closed doors given their circumstances. We tried to be as conscientious and truthful as possible about what that would look like."

Ahead of the premiere, the actor confessed that he was "nervous" for the show to come out. "For this to be my first big production, playing someone so beloved, I mean, it's definitely not lost on me," he said in an interview with PEOPLE. "I really had to tighten up my bootstraps and do deep dives, learn everything I could."

Creating a space that feels both cozy and polished can be tricky, but luckily, these plush pillows make it almost foolproof. Start by layering them with smaller patterned cushions on a sofa, toss one onto a favorite armchair, or pile a few on a bed to create an effortlessly chic, cozy corner. 1991 Hit Ranked No. 1 'Greatest One-Hit Wonder' of All Time

Thu, 02/26/2026 - 5:28am

Few songs from the early ’90s have aged quite like “Walking in Memphis.”

The soulful piano ballad, written and performed by Marc Cohn, peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991. It never reached No. 1. It wasn’t a chart-topping juggernaut. And yet, decades later, it was ranked the No. 1 greatest one-hit wonder of all time.

In his book "99 Red Balloons and 100 Other All-Time Great One-Hit Wonders," author Brent Mann placed “Walking in Memphis” at the very top of his list, calling it the finest example of a singular pop breakthrough that defined an artist’s career.

The song’s chart run was impressive for a debut single. It spent 23 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, crossed over to Adult Contemporary, where it reached No. 12, climbed to No. 3 on Canada’s Top Singles chart and even made a rare crossover appearance on the Hot Country Singles chart.

But culturally, its impact has proven even more lasting.

Released on Cohn’s self-titled debut album in 1991, “Walking in Memphis” earned Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance. In 1992, Cohn took home the Grammy for Best New Artist, cementing his place in early-’90s pop history.

Wayne Jancik’s "The Billboard Book of One-Hit Wonders" also highlights the track as Cohn’s defining success, noting that despite later releases and steady touring, “Walking in Memphis” remains his signature—and only Top 40—hit.

The song’s heartstring-tugging storytelling, spiritual undertones and piano-driven arrangement helped it stand apart from much of the early-’90s pop landscape. In four minutes, Cohn painted a "vivid story of loneliness, exploration, and hope, all set against music that is, by turns, sad and uplifting," wrote Mann.

Even Cher recorded a version in 1996, though most critics and fans agree the original remains definitive.

More than three decades later, Cohn has reflected on the unlikely trip that sparked the song in the first place.

In a 2022 piece for Songwriting Magazine, Cohn recalled traveling to Memphis at age 25 at the urging of a woman he was dating and following advice from James Taylor to “do what he called ‘a geographic’”—go somewhere new and let your senses be reawakened.

The turning point came during a visit to Al Green’s church and, later, a late-night performance at the Hollywood Cafe, where he met gospel singer Muriel Davis Wilkins—the "Muriel" in the lyrics:

Now Muriel plays piano
Every Friday at the Hollywood
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would
Do a little number
And I sang with all my might
She said
"Tell me, are you a Christian child?"
And I said "Ma'am, I am tonight"

“At the very end of the night, when it was quite late, she did 'Amazing Grace,'” Cohn wrote. “We sang it together a cappella, and the place turned so quiet. That was a moment I’ll never forget.”

He later recalled that when Wilkins leaned over and whispered, “Child, you can move on now. Your mom is with you,” something shifted.

Once he returned to New York, the song flowed quickly—though recording it proved far more difficult. Still, Cohn said he knew he had “turned a corner as a songwriter” when he finished it.

Tony Bennett said that 'I Left My Heart In San Francisco' took him around the world, he said it was his, ‘calling card’,” Cohn wrote. “That’s how I feel about 'Walking In Memphis'; it literally did take me around the world several times.”

And according to at least one definitive music ranking, it remains the greatest one-hit wonder of them all.
