Former Days of Our Lives star Marissa Reyes is continuing to build momentum in her career as Season 2 of Netflix’s Running Pointapproaches. The actress is now opening up about what representation means to her and how it shaped her career choices.

Reyes recently spoke with Numero Netherlands reporter Jana Letonja about the upcoming season of Running Point, her background in musical theater, and her work on the stage.

During the interview, Reyes explained why representation is central to her work. “Representation has been a driving force for me since before I was even in the industry,” she said.

She reflected on her upbringing, noting the lack of on-screen representation for people who looked like her or her family. “Almost every single character of mine has been intentionally written to be Latina, and that is incredibly significant to me,” she explained.

Reyes added that she hopes to provide that visibility for others.  “I want to provide representation for kids like me who didn’t see themselves on screen growing up. We are important, we are strong, and we deserve to be seen,” she said.

Discussing her career trajectory, Reyes said she is optimistic about what lies ahead. “I am excited about it all,” she shared, adding that she still has many goals she hopes to achieve.

Looking toward the future, she added, “What excites me most is the opportunities that will find me because of the work and love I poured into this last chapter.”

Reyes previously portrayed Arianna Horton on Days of Our Lives, the daughter of legacy characters Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). She exited the role in March 2026 after approximately a year on the soap.

In addition to her role on Days of Our Lives, she has also made apperances on Spirit Halloween: The Movie, That Girl Lay Lay, Raven's Home, and Bosch: Legacy

Nathan Lane is opening up about his mother's devastating reaction when he came out to her as gay.

Lane shared his coming out story on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, April 21.

"I didn't want to tell her, but before I left, we had been through so much together and, you know, I had never lied to her, and so I sat her down and said, 'Look, I know you think I've been seeing a girl, but actually, I've been seeing a guy," he said.

Lane recalled, "She said, 'You mean you're a homosexual?' And I had never heard it put that way. And I said, 'Yeah, I guess so.' And she didn't say it in a vindictive or angry way. She said it with a sort of sadness, 'I would rather you were dead.'"

Lane reflected on this experience, telling Stern, "You have to understand this is another generation. And that was, you know, this was not a sophisticated person in that way."

He then shared how he had begged his mother not to tell his brothers because he wanted to find the right time to tell them himself.

"And then she immediately called them and told them. So I had to deal with that," Lane said. "And so my brother Dan, you know, was a teacher, and we had a long walk and talk and he was very understanding, and yet I think he felt probably in some way that he had failed me. You know, he did ask the typical question of 'Do you think it's maybe just a phase?' And I said, 'No I don't think it's a phase.'"

Lane came out publicly in 1999 three years after he starred in The Birdcage alongside Robin Williams.

As a born and bred Floridian, Publix holds a special place in my heart. I shopped there as a kid, worked there as a teenager and even though I’ve moved to a state without Publix, I make sure to stop in anytime I’m within at least an hour drive of a location. And if there’s one thing I faithfully get every time I visit, it’s a buffalo chicken tender Pub Sub and a bottle of Publix sweet tea.

So imagine my excitement, and the rest of Florida’s for that matter, when Tom Holland popped up on our feeds doing a Pub Sub mukbang in his car right in the Publix parking lot. What started as a visit to promote BERO Brewing quickly turned into a flood of comments, with viewers collectively losing their minds as Spider-Man himself shared his thoughts on one of Florida’s most beloved sandwiches.

Tom Holland Finally Tries a Pub Sub

Making its rounds across multiple social platforms, the video opens with Tom in his car, Pub Sub in hand and a pack of BERO non-alcoholic beer by his side.

“Hey guys, I just went to Publix for the first time and I’m going to try this Pub Sub,” Tom says to the camera. “BERO is now available in our variety pack at Publix, so I’m going to see which beer pairs with the sandwich the best.”

While he unwraps his sub, the tension builds as viewers wait to see which one he ordered. Comments on Instagram like “as a Floridian, this is very important to my culture” and “this is the best day ever” start rolling in, capturing the anticipation in real time.

“Oh, wrapped it nicely,” Tom exclaims, clearly impressed with the attention to detail as the sub is finally revealed. Next comes his first bite, showcasing Publix’s famed chicken tenders tucked inside Italian hero bread.

Tom Holland Gives His Verdict

“I don’t know what this sandwich is called, but it is delicious,” Tom says. “I think I’d pair that with the pils. You have a traditional continental vibe there, with a sandwich, behind the wheel,” he pauses, “obviously not while you’re driving, that could be dangerous.” Leave it to Spider-Man to be thinking safety first.

As he continues eating, Tom offers one small note on what viewers now know to be a buffalo chicken sub. “Yea this is delicious, I like it a lot. I would give this an 8/10. If I was to go back in there, I’d give it a little more sauce. But all in all, this is absolutely what I needed right now.”

Floridians Can’t Get Enough of the Pub Sub Moment

As the IG comments flowed in, Publix quickly chimed in with their own reply, saying “Plot twist: the buffalo sauce was a real superhero all along. 10/10 next time, Tom.”

Others echoed the overall sentiment of pride among fellow Floridian viewers. One person said, “A sub from Publix is part of a Floridian culture, the fact that Tom Holland ate it in the car makes me feel represented,” while another called it a “fever dream,” asking, “what do you mean Spider-Man is eating a Pub Sub?”

“This is bigger than Endgame,” another said, with one more adding, “this is why he’s my favorite Spider-Man.”

I might be biased, but I’d have to agree with the one commenter who said “chicken tender Pub Sub is the best thing to come outta Florida.” And now that Spider-Man has cosigned, there’s really no convincing me otherwise. If you’ve yet to frequent the Publix deli and try a Pub Sub for yourself, you’re missing out. And if you have but it’s been a few days, listen to your Spidey senses, it’s time to swing back in for another.

If you didn't have a chance to get tickets to see ZZ Top when tickets were first announced, now's your chance. While the 2026 tour, The Big One!, began around a month ago, the legendary performers have added more dates to fill the three-month gap between their August show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and their November show at the Telemex Auditorium in Guadalajara, Mexico.

While one of the new additions is on the evening before the Hollywood Bowl show in Chula Vista, the rest of the 22 shows will take place between Aug. 7 and Sept. 18. The majority of these concerts will happen in states that weren't included when the tour was first announced, such as Washington, Oregon, Utah, Ohio, Colorado, New York, Virginia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Maryland.

"It's true that we've been spending a lot of time on the road, and the more we're out there, the better it feels," Billy F Gibbons said in a press release (via Ultimate Classic Rock).

"It's a good time for us and for the generations of fans who appreciate what we do," he added. "We've been at it for quite a while – something like five decades – and it seems we're getting good at it, so there's no reason to slow things down. Let's rock!"

Fans can expect to hear the songs that made the band famous for the past five decades, such as "La Grange," "Tush," "Legs," "Gimme All Your Lovin'," and "Just Got Paid."

Tickets for the new dates go on sale on April 24. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees previously announced that country singerDwight Yoakam would continue joining them for several stops after the conclusion of their Dos Amigos Tour. However, with the addition of new dates comes even more special guests.

Cheap Trick is expected to perform with them on at least five dates, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers will join them on four evenings or more. Fans attending the Aug. 7 Fresco show will see McKinley James, while those with tickets to the Aug. 29 concert in Terre Haute can see Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. Actress Janel Parrish is known for playing Mona on Pretty Little Liars. Dancing with the Starsprofessional dancer, Sasha Farber, continues to do what he loves between seasons on the reality show. Parrish posted the same video on TikTok yesterday. "So is this a thing?" Rylee Arnold commented.

"Not bad still got moves," Farber commented. "Thanks I had a good coach," she replied.

The dancer posted a picture on April 16, lounging on a couch with two dogs. Parrish sat at a piano. Her face wasn't shown, but fans noticed. "It’s the small things in life," he captioned the post.

They also previously shared a video of them dancing at night on April 9. That day, TMZ reported Chris Long and Parrish had been separated for months. They got married in 2018 and don't have kids.

Parrish already competed on the dancing show in season 19. Valentin Chmerkovskiy was her partner, and they placed third. Farber didn't compete that season. It's unclear how she met Farber, but it looks like they're having a great time together.

Prince Philip had many hobbies throughout his life, and his talent for jewelry design was one that his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, displayed proudly. 

Not only were his creations beautiful, but they also carried sentimental meaning. When Philip turned to London jeweller Philip Antrobus to create Elizabeth’s engagement ring, he acquired materials that were important to his family and lineage. Philip’s mother, Princess Alice, gave him an antique diamond tiara to use to create the ring. The result was a sparkler featuring a three-carat diamond center stone set on a platinum band surrounded by 10 smaller pavé-set diamonds.

The Duke of Edinburgh used the rest of the diamonds from the tiara to create a dazzling bracelet as a wedding gift to his bride. Elizabeth wore the precious gift on a number of occasions, and it has since been borrowed by her granddaughter-in-law, Kate Middleton.

The gifts weren’t just sparkly accessories. Philip took his vow to Elizabeth very seriously and wrote a letter to her mother shortly after their wedding, referring to his bride by her nickname.

“Lilibet is the only ‘thing’ in the world which is absolutely real to me,” Philip wrote at the time, per Vanity Fair. “My ambition is to weld the two of us into a new combined existence that will not only be able to withstand the shocks directed at us, but will also have a positive existence for the good.”

In the early days of their relationship, Philip had a brooch made for Elizabeth in the shape of his naval badge. The couple and their young kids, then-Prince Charles and Princess Anne, lived in Malta from 1949 to 1951 while Philip was stationed there as a Royal Navy officer. As it was before Elizabeth ascended to the throne in 1952, they lived a private life, and she was able to be a "regular naval wife." This was a special time for the young family, and Philip had several jewelry pieces designed for Elizabeth that incorporated his naval badge.

Philip went on to make several pieces of jewelry for Elizabeth throughout their 73-year marriage. When the couple celebrated their 50-year anniversary, Elizabeth said Philip had, “quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I, and his whole family, and this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim, or we shall ever know.”

Elizabeth wore her engagement ring consistently throughout her life until her death in September 2022 at the age of 96. Her engagement ring was not considered a crown jewel, items that belong to the sitting monarch, but rather part of her personal collection. One of her family members likely inherited the family heirloom, or it is locked away in the vault of Buckingham Palace.

Philip outdid himself with the bracelet he tapped Boucheron to create for Elizabeth’s fifth anniversary gift. The Duke’s naval badge is encrusted in diamonds and surrounded by two sapphire crosses, seemingly a nod to the Greek flag. A ruby cross, perhaps representing the flag of England, is bordered with two roses of York, a nod to Elizabeth’s first royal title as Princess Elizabeth of York. The symbols are connected by gold links in the shape of interlocking Es and Ps.

In 1966, Philip awarded Andrew Grima the Duke of Edinburgh’s Prize for Elegant Design for his contribution to the craft during post-WWII and for raising the international reputation of modern British jewellery. Philip purchased the “Venus” brooch, made of gold, carved rubies, and diamonds, from Grima’s collection that year as a gift for the Queen. Elizabeth wore the piece throughout her life, notably for her and Philip’s portraits commemorating their 70th wedding anniversary in 2017.

Singer and songwriter Josh Groban, 45, is officially engaged to his English sweetheart, stage actress Natalie McQueen, 36. Groban proposed to McQueen at Disneyland—the happiest place on earth, indeed!—and he's sharing photos of the proposal ... and of the gorgeous custom engagement ring!

The happy couple has been together for four years now and post lots of sweet photos from their life together. On their fourth anniversary in January 2026, Groban shared these fun portraits he painted of the both of them.

Today, Groban posted the happy engagement news on his Instagram by sharing a series of photos. "MY BEST FRIEND SAID YES!!!" he wrote in all caps. "Sharing this life with you is my happiest place, @nataliemcqueen"

In the post, Groban went on to thank Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings for the proposal logistics, and AURORO fine jewelers for the absolutely stunning custom, marquise-cut engagement ring with smaller diamond stones on each side.

Now we know exactly why Andy Cohen warned fans to watch Summer House with “one eye open.” West Wilson’s attempt to apologize to Ciara Miller—after making out with another girl right in front of her—wasn’t just cringe. It was brutal to watch.

The already multi-layered episode lands even harder in hindsight, delivering an emotional aftershock from Amanda Batula and West's new offscreen romance—one that rattled the entire house, but cuts deepest for Ciara and Amanda's estranged husband, Kyle Cooke.

By the end of the episode, after several awkward, fumbled attempts to apologize, West and Ciara finally come face-to-face in a conversation that’s as jaw-dropping as it is uncomfortable—especially given the real-life fallout.

West starts one of his apologies by telling Ciara that it will only take "30 seconds" and that he doesn't feel much better, and after a week, he's "pretty bummed about it and I apologize." Meanwhile, she’s on FaceTime with Amanda, and the two laugh after West slinks out of the room.

In confessional, Ciara admits, "But it is really hard to keep up the front that I do. And it's just getting exhausting at this point." While she doesn’t hate him, the emotional toll is clearly catching up.

When they finally sit down the next day, the conversation turns raw. Ciara points out it’s been about two years with nothing really moving forward and admits she worries about being herself around him for fear of being embarrassed.

"Last weekend was so weird," she says, referring to West and his guest’s makeout at Jesse Solomon’s Vegas party. "'Cause it's the very thing I'm afraid of...happened. You sat right next to me and didn't see me. I feel like all of that's very triggering in this whole cycle of whatever the f--- our relationship is."

West admits that putting her in that position was "f---ed up" and apologizes. But Ciara reminds him that what came after their split was the real breaking point, calling his comments in the media the "nail in the coffin."

"I did really consider you my best friend. I feel like we had such a great friendship, and I think that's the part that was so hurtful about it. Because I don't call people my best friend lightly."

West responds that hearing this makes him feel sad, explaining he felt "under attack" and that since they weren’t communicating, "naturally I tried to defend myself."

Ciara, being the bigger person, still takes accountability. She apologizes for not reaching out and acknowledges how much the situation has been shaped by outside noise.

Then comes one of the more surprising admissions: West says that seeing negative chatter about their relationship made him "naturally" resent her—something that only deepens the tension in the conversation.

"I do miss you as my friend," Ciara says through tears. "And I don't want people talking s--- or bad about you or saying mean things to you because you're not a bad person. I've never thought you were a bad person, yet last year, I don't think I was ready to be in this space. And then this year I'm just a little tired of having to carry it."

West says he can tell Ciara still has walls up and insists he’s ready to move forward however she wants, even suggesting they could be close again.

"Can we just be best friends again?" Ciara asks, breaking down into sobs as they hug, an ending that feels less like closure and more like emotional whiplash.

Earlier in the episode, and notably, Amanda confronts West over how he’s treated Ciara, pointing out the disconnect between how supportive he’s been toward her versus his behavior toward Ciara.

"What upset me the most is that you've been such a good friend to me all summer long," she tells him. "Like it bothers you when you see Kyle disrespecting me and someone so supportive of me and looking out for me and standing up for me to watch you disrespect Ciara in that way, it puts this weird dynamic in play."

While West says he understands why his behavior was disrespectful, he still seems unsure of what he actually jeopardized. When he asks for advice, Amanda keeps it simple: take accountability and apologize—no caveats.

Originally written as a poem before guitarist David Gilmour added the music, the track poured out of singer-songwriter Roger Waters, who told journalist Dan Rather in a 2017 interview, via Radio X, “It was one of those happy times when the stream of consciousness works, and words come out.”

Since its release, many have linked the song to the absence of original frontman and chief songwriter Syd Barrett, who left the group in 1968 due to declining mental and physcial health. But according Waters, the meaning runs deeper than Barrett alone.

He instead says the song reflects not just the absence of Barrett, but the band’s evolving sense of alienation following the massive success of The Dark Side of the Moon, explaining it as far more existential — a rejection of passivity and a call to stay engaged with life.

“It’s to encourage myself not to accept a lead role in a cage, but to go on demanding of myself that I keep auditioning for the walk-on part in the war, ’cause that’s where I want to be,” he explains in a 2012 documentary, via Radio X. “I wanna be in the trenches. I don’t want to be at headquarters; I don’t wanna be sitting in a hotel somewhere. I wanna be engaged.”

The baseball season is in full ‘swing’ and one player just got something better than a home run. Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, just welcomed their fourth child.

The journey to fatherhood wasn’t exactly easy for Freeman. MLB player Freeman and his wife of 11 years now have four children. The couple’s eldest child, Frederick Charles Fremman II, was born in 2016, making him nine years old. Their second son, Brandon John Freeman, followed four years later (in 2020). Maximus Turner Freeman arrived two months later, via surrogate. 

In 2021, Freeman opened up to ESPN about the rocky road to becoming a parent. “Every pregnancy and fertility journey is a little bit different for everyone, and we wanted to respect our surrogate’s privacy as well.” He continued, “We tried for a couple of years, and it didn’t happen. We were talking with doctors, and they suggested surrogacy. We jumped at that, because we wanted to be blessed with more kids.” And they certainly were!

If you didn't have the immense privilege of growing up in the '80s, then it might be hard for you to understand just how incredibly huge Bon Jovi was back then. No exaggeration: From about 1986 to 1994 (and way beyond), it seemed like you couldn't go five minutes without either hearing one of their songs on the radio or seeing one of their videos on MTV.

Their third album, Slippery When Wet, featured three top 10 singles...and people thought that was a big deal. Then, their next album, 1988's New Jersey, made Bon Jovi just one of a few rock bands to ever have five Top 10 singles off the same record on the Billboard Hot 100.

The fifth and final chart-topping single from New Jersey, the power ballad "Living in Sin," didn't make it to #1 like "I'll Be There for You" or "Bad Medicine," but it did peak at #9 on Dec. 12, 1989.

"Living in Sin" is the timeless tale of a young couple whose romance is being threatened by the girl's conservative parents:

"I don't need no license to sign on no line / And I don't need no preacher to tell me you're mine / I don't need no diamonds, I don't need no new bride / And I just need you, baby, to look me in the eyes / I know they have a hard time, your daddy don't approve / But I don't need your daddy telling us what we should do"

In addition to lyrics that were super relatable to countless teen listeners, the song came with a video that — as some of us will remember — was one of MTV's steamier clips at the time: A black-and-white love scene on a beach, angry parents, close-ups of Jon Bon Jovi crooning sexily into a microphone.

'Living in Sin' showcased Jon Bon Jovi's 'gale-force vocals'

Known for his powerful, full-force style of singing, Bon Jovi (the singer, not the band) really belted his heart out on "Living in Sin." When Ultimate Classic Rock ranked all 359 of Bon Jovi's songs, "Living in Sin" took the #22 slot.

"Digging into his Catholic upbringing, Bon Jovi carefully peels off layers of lyrics while the band dexterously follows his lead, sounding larger than life," UCR's Anthony Kuzminksi wrote.

"'Living in Sin' really opens up after the second chorus and guitar solo, where you can feel the pressure ready to pop," Kuzminski continued. "A four-piece rock orchestra, led by David Bryan’s keyboards, [Richie] Sambora’s substantial guitar and Bon Jovi’s gale-force vocals, then signals the song home."

Decades later, the song still slaps, as the kids would say...even if you're not a teenager anymore, and you're not worried about what your parents catching you in the backseat of a car.

In 1995, an edgy, evocative French film premiered that would leave a lasting mark on global cinema.

La Haine, directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, has since been ranked among the best movies of all time by Rotten Tomatoes, reflecting its undeniable lasting cultural and critical impact.

Set in the suburbs of Paris, the film follows three young men. Vinz, Saïd and Hubert, over the course of 24 hours in the aftermath of a violent riot sparked by police brutality. As tensions simmer, the story unfolds as a raw and unflinching portrayal of life on the margins, exploring themes of inequality, anger and systemic injustice.

Shot in striking black and white, La Haine uses its visual style to heighten the sense of realism and urgency. The film's gritty aesthetic, combined with its powerful performances, creates an atmosphere that feels both immediate and deeply unsettling.

"When you look at black-and-white footage from the war, it changes when you see that footage put in color," Kassovitz told BFI. "What black and white does is bring poetry into reality. That's why when you do a movie about poverty where you don't have control over the environment and things are supposed to be ugly, it's very difficult. It costs a lot of money to make it look good. But it doesn’t cost anything to make it look good in black and white. If I showed you La Haine in color, it's horrible."

Rather than offering easy answers, Kassovitz presents a snapshot of a society on edge, where frustration and hopelessness can quickly spiral into violence. Its famous closing line underscores the film's central message about cycles of conflict and the consequences of ignoring deeper societal issues: "It's not how you fall that matters. It's how you land."

Upon its release, La Haine was widely acclaimed, winning the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival and earning recognition as one of the most important films of its generation.

Decades later, the film continues to resonate with audiences around the world, remaining a touchstone for discussions about social justice and urban life.

"It's extraordinary to be able to make something that lasts, even if the problems it confronted are still as sharp," Kassovitz told France 24. "There will always be police brutality. We should be aware of that. We have to remind ourselves it exists. We also have to learn our history and at a certain moment say, 'That's enough.'"

With its inclusion in Rotten Tomatoes' ranking, La Haine stands as a timeless classic—one that continues to challenge, provoke and inspire.

Marie Osmond just broke her silence on her brother Alan Osmond's death with an emotional social media tribute.

On Monday, April 20, at about 8:30 p.m. local time, Alan died at 76 while surrounded by his wife, Suzanne Pinegar Osmond, and their children. His rep confirmed the sad news to ABC 4 Utah.

“Upon meeting the entertainer, an ever-ready smile was ever prevalent," Alan's rep said in a statement. "One might feel as though they had known him all their life. Others’ importance seemed to outshine his own, and he especially treasured the countless fans who supported the group.”

At around 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 21, Marie, 66, took to Instagram with a photo of her late brother and a poignant message. "Writing about your sibling's passing is not something easily done," the former Donny & Marie star began her tribute to Alan. "The years and years of memories I have of my big brother Alan could never be written in a few words—it would take volumes—but I shall try."

She continued, "As his only sister, I know I had a different relationship with him than he had with his brothers, and I must say I loved that!😄 He was always very protective of me (not so sure I love that one)😂 but he was always there if I needed him!"

Additionally, Marie detailed Alan's "many incredible talents," which included singing, playing multiple instruments, writing "hit records and albums," producing TV shows and music videos, and more.

"Alan became our leader at age 12," she explained of Alan, the eldest member of The Osmonds music group. "How daunting that must have felt to have that immense responsibility, to lead at such a young age. But he never complained. He told me many times, 'It felt like a mission… a long one ☺️, but I loved doing it.' And he did it for us and for all of you! But what I admired the most about my brother is his devotion and love for God and family! Those were his priorities… Always!"

Toward the end of her tribute, Marie revealed the last thing Alan said to her: “I can’t wait to see brother Wayne, so we can be missionary companions together and start preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who never had the opportunity to hear his message of peace and hope in this life."

She concluded with a feeling of her mom sending her a message about her late brother, adding, "I love you so very much and will miss you dearly.💔."

In the comments, Marie's followers showered her with prayers and condolences, with one Instagram user writing, "So sorry for your loss!🙏🏼🫶🏼 your tribute was beautifully written!!🫶🏼🙏🏼."

Another shared, "Sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of love, strength during this time. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family ❤️🙏🙏❤️."

Someone else echoed, "So sorry. What a beautiful tribute. Sending lots of prayers of peace your way."

A different fan commented, "RIP, Alan. Prayers to you, Marie, & the family.

In addition to Marie and Alan, there were seven other Osmond siblings: Virl, Tom, Wayne,Merrill, Jay, Donny, and Jimmy. Wayne Osmond died on Jan. 1, 2025.

If you’re in love with smut, there is one steamy romance series you must have read. T.L. Swan’s Miles High Club book series became a huge success, and it was only a matter of time before it would be picked up as a series.

Well, that time has come. Amazon MGM Studios agrees with the fans that this is a series worth picking up, according to Deadline. There is some bad news in this in that the show hasn’t got a writer yet, but Swan is set to executive produce along with Counterpoint Productions and QC Entertainment.

About the ‘Miles High Club’ Books

For those who haven’t read the books yet, the “Miles” part isn’t a typo. The four-book series follows the four Miles brothers. They are hot billionaires who have carefully crafted lives. They are media moguls, after all, and the last thing they need is for bad press. They also think that bachelor life is the best life.

You know what they say when it comes to people not looking for love. That’s when love finds us, and that is certainly the case for the four wealthy brothers.

It all starts with The Stopover, which follows Emily Foster, who finds herself thrown off when her new boss turns out to be the one-night stand that was supposed to remain that way. Jameson Miles is a powerful and ruthless billionaire, who is ready to pick up where he and Emily left off during her unexpected first class upgrade, but is she willing to risk her dream job for this one man?

The question now is how Amazon MGM Studios will develop the series. There is room to do something like Bridgerton, where each season gets a new lead. This would be the most obvious choice for a book series that is so focused on separate couples.

Each story has its own motivating factors and storyline. While the first book is a one-night-stand-to-lovers storyline, the second novel is more enemies-to-lovers. It wouldn’t make sense to combine everything across seasons.

This could depend on the direction a writer and showrunner would like to take. All eyes are on the series' development. Until then, there is a new steamy romance book, The Heart You Kept, coming in May 2026.

Why You Shouldn’t Use ‘I Already Told You’ in a Professional Email or Setting

The phrase "I already told you" doesn't always give off the classiest or most professional energy in a work setting—just ask Dulebohn, an international etiquette coach and speaker. This especially applies if you're a manager. The language you use as a superior is important in setting the tone with your direct reports. Even if you've already explained something, patience is key.

"It can be frustrating to repeat yourself at work, but you can do so in a professional, collegial and polite way that keeps momentum moving forward and does not create hard feelings," she shares. "At work, how we say something can be as important as what we say. When you find yourself about to say, 'I already told you,' stop, take a beat, and engage your emotional intelligence, read the room and keep your credibility, relationships and executive presence in check."

She also says it's important not to directly say "I already told you" because it can come across as dismissive and perhaps, in some cases, confrontational.

"It may even shut things down," she adds. "Consider, who are you speaking to—your boss, a colleague or a client—and the circumstances."

How to Politely Say ‘I Already Told You’ in a Work Email, According to an Etiquette Expert

It's all about striking the proper tone when you're trying to politely say "I already told you." Dulebohn shares some key ways to get your point across without coming off standoffish or confrontational.

1. "As I mentioned earlier..." 

This helps move the conversation in a more positive direction instead of feeling condescending.

"This is a simple reminder to keep things moving without assigning blame," Dulebohn adds. "As an example, you can say something like, 'As I mentioned earlier, the deadline is Friday.'

2. "Just to reiterate…"

This kind of language works because it applies emphasis instead of being hostile or snooty. You're merely trying to emphasize the due date of a project or assignment to make sure everyone is on the same page.

"This phrase also positions you as organized and clear, not frustrated," explains Dulebohn. "As an example, you can say, 'Just to reiterate, we'll need final approvals by Thursday.'"

3. "I may not have been clear—let me clarify…"

While this language works well for anyone in the workplace, Dulebohn says it's key in certain types of scenarios.

"This is especially helpful when dealing with someone who holds a superior position to yours," she shares. "This is a gracious option that immediately [diffuses] tensions by taking partial responsibility, otherwise called saving someone else's face.  As an example, you can say, 'I may not have been clear—let me clarify the next steps.'"

4. "Happy to confirm…"

For an even more positive spin, Dulebohn says to try something like the above.

"This is warm, confident and especially effective in client-facing communication," she shares. "As an example, you can say, 'Happy to confirm that we'll proceed with option B.'"

5. "Circling back to my earlier note…"

Dulebohn says this feels more like a gentle nudge than a back-handed comment.

"It feels collaborative rather than corrective," she explains. "As an example, you can say something like, 'Circling back to my earlier note, we'll move forward next week.'"

Other Phrases You Can Use To Be Politely Assertive at Work

Learning to say "I already told you" in a professional way is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to polite yet assertive communication at work. But getting your point across without rubbing people the wrong way is easy thanks to Dulebohn's tips.

"You can be a strong and effective leader while conducting yourself in a polite manner," she says. "Gracious does not mean passive. The best leaders are kind and clear. Try using these phrases at work to accomplish your goals."

Setting expectations:

When you're trying to assert your expectations for a project or assignment, being direct and clear is key. Dulebohn says the following phrases are her top picks for setting the tone early on.

• "Going forward, let’s…"
• "To keep things on track, we’ll…"

Redirecting a conversation:

If you feel like time is being wasted on something or a meeting is going much longer than needed, Dulebohn says that's when it's time to gently and politely redirect the conversation. A couple of her favorite phrases to do that include:

• "Let's refocus on…"
• "The priority here is…"

Holding boundaries:

The workplace is one of the most important places to assert your boundaries. Whether that's being honest about what's possible or what's a realistic workload for you, learning to politely protect yourself is key. Dulebohn outlined what to say in that case below.

• "I won't be able to accommodate that timeline, but I can…"
• "That's outside our current scope, but let's talk about what I can do to achieve your goals and expectations."

Encouraging accountability:

Making sure others take accountability for their share of work can be tough. If you're looking for a polite way to be assertive and make sure someone does their part, Dulebohn has you covered.

• "What would be the next step from your side?"
• "Can you walk me through your plan here?"

Beck was going through a 'lonely time' when he wrote 'Ride Lonesome'

In a recent interview with NPR, Beck opened up about the inspiration behind "Ride Lonesome."

"It was a bit of a lonely time," he said. "It was one of those times in your life when you're taking things in, where you've been and where you're going. You know, when you're going through difficult things, often you have to get through it yourself. You just have to move forward through whatever landscape of your life and circumstances you find yourself in. And I think it's sort of that dark comfort of pushing through the parts of life that are maybe not as comfortable or easy, and having some distant faith that it will pull you through to the other side."

As for whether or not fans can look forward to a new full-length album and what else he's been up to, Beck admitted that while he "had to wait a couple of years to get back to work [after COVID]," he's been "writing a lot of songs."

"It's been a very prolific time for me," he said. "I did a song with Gorillaz and I did one with Paul McCartney, and we did a fun video together. I helped write a Black Keys album called Ohio Players. I think I wrote like 10 or 12 of those songs. And then I've just been working on my music pretty constantly. I built a recording studio."

"You know, I've been living life. I've probably made multiple albums' worth of music that probably no one will ever hear, but hopefully it leads to something," Beck continued. "I've got lots of things cooking. I've been in the studio a lot on and off the last four years with my band. There's a group of musicians I came up with that were my touring band for a lot of my early records. And everybody's gone off to bigger and better things, but we still get together and we'll find a couple of days here and there and make some music. And yeah, I have a lot of different projects I want to do, so hopefully there's time to get to all of them."

The piece features a vertical stripe design that's fairly modern, with a small metal handle and smooth sliding drawers that allow you to get in and out of it easily. The dresser has reinforced clips that keep it stable and "sturdy."

The dresser is made of medium-density fiberboard that's coated with a lacquer finish. Therefore, it's advised to wipe down the piece with a soft cloth in order to keep its quality when cleaning.
