The removable battery is especially helpful, so you can charge it indoors instead of needing to park the whole bike near an outlet. Plus, the seven-speed setup gives you more control on hills, roads, gravel, or trails, while the dual-disc brakes help the bike accelerate quickly. And as an added perk, the e-bike arrives mostly pre-assembled, so you won’t have to deal with a complicated setup before your first ride.

Reviewers were especially impressed with the power and battery life. One described it as “powerful” and “fast,” adding that they rode 26 miles without charging and still had more than 50% battery left. Another said the “battery life is fantastic,” while a different shopper wrote, “This bike is amazing! Assembly was very easy.”

One day after the death of beloved country radio personality and Grand Ole Opry announcer Bill Cody, country superstar Trisha Yearwood took a moment to honor his memory from the Opry stage.

During Wednesday night's Grand Ole Opry broadcast, Yearwood paid tribute to Cody, who died June 9 at age 67 after a recent health battle.

"I want to take one second before we move on and I've heard some people have mentioned our dear friend Bill Cody," sayd Yearwood. "You heard his voice on the loudspeaker when you came in tonight. He was a dear friend to all of us and I think we're all playing this show for Don Williams and also for Bill Cody. So I just wanted to send my love out with everybody else to his family"

Tonight, June 10, was the planned Opry tribute Opry 100 Honors: Don Williams, the late country legend known as the "Gentle Giant." Yearwood, Keith Urban and Rodney Crowell were on hand to celebrate Williams and now also Bill Cody, who just died yesterday.

Cody spent decades as a fixture of Nashville's country music community. He joined WSM-AM in 1994 and became one of the most recognizable voices associated with both the station and the Grand Ole Opry. Through his long-running radio program Coffee, Country & Cody, he interviewed countless country stars and helped introduce listeners to generations of artists.

Following news of his death Tuesday, tributes poured in from across the country music world.

"There might be someone somewhere in the world who loved country music as much, but nobody loved country music more than Bill Cody," Garth Brooks said in a statement.

Dierks Bentley called Cody "one of [country music's] pillars," adding that he was "just as important to the fabric of our music and city as any artist, songwriter or musician."

Earlier this week, Cody's family revealed that he had been in critical condition and in need of heart and kidney transplants. No official cause of death has been announced.

Saturday night's Grand Ole Opry broadcast is also expected to include a special tribute to Cody, whose voice and presence became synonymous with country music for generations of fans.

On June 10, 1975, the Eagles released One of These Nights — their fourth studio album and their first to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it spent five weeks at the top. 

The singles performed just as well. All three from the record landed in the top five, keeping a streak alive that had started with "Best of My Love" the previous year. 

It had been a gradual climb for the band. The Eagles had been working their way up the charts since 1972. Their debut landed at No. 22, Desperado at No. 41 and On the Border at No. 17. 

One of These Nights was the breakthrough they had been building toward. Their next three studio albums all topped the chart as well, ending with Long Road Out of Eden in 2007. 

There are a few theories for why One of These Nights was the album that finally took them to the top. The most common explanation is the sound.

The Eagles were moving away from the country rock of their early records and toward something more mainstream.

Three years of touring and recording had also made them better musicians and songwriters. Having Don Felder in the lineup for a full album gave the Eagles something they hadn't had before. 

His guitar work helped drive the sound in a new direction.

"We like to be a nice little country-rock band from Los Angeles — about half the time," Don Henley told Rolling Stone in 1975. "We wanted to get away from the ballad syndrome with One of These Nights. With Felder in the band now, we can really rock. He's made us nastier and did a great guitar solo on the single."

The sessions themselves went smoothly too. "There's no doubt in my mind that One of These Nights was the most fluid and 'painless' album we ever made," Glenn Frey said.

“A lot of things came together on One of These Nights – our love of the studio, the dramatic improvement in Don’s and my songwriting.” 

All of that showed up most clearly on the album's title track. Written by Henley and Frey, it blended the Eagles’ California rock sound with a disco-inspired groove and a stronger R&B influence than their earlier songs. 

Business Insider later named "One of These Nights" the definitive song of summer 1975 — and it's easy to hear why. 

Bon Jovi, the chart-topping rock band from the 1980s, delivered an exciting announcement as they gear up for the highly anticipated tour.

The award-winning band, fronted by Jon Bon Jovi together with core members David Bryan on keyboards, drummer Tico Torres, bassist Hugh McDonald and lead guitarist Phil X, joined by touring musicians John Shanks and Everett Bradley, turned the spotlight to their fans by making a special request.

In an Instagram post, the lead vocalist invited their supporters to submit a video of themselves singing their signature anthem “Livin’ On A Prayer.”

“We want you on the big screen,” Jon Bon Jovi said in the video, adding, “This is your chance to be a star. Sing in ‘Livin’ On A Prayer.’ Get into the show. Join the band on the road. We are happy to be back and we look forward to seeing you.”

In addition, the band also pointed out that they don't have to be professionals or have singing ability or experience as long as they are simply enjoying rocking the song.

“Whether you're a pro or just having fun, we want to see you rocking out! Just hit record and have fun with it, no audio needed,” the band wrote in the caption.

The Forever Tour will mark the band’s first tour since Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal chord surgery in 2022.

According to the lead vocalist, he is deeply grateful for the support of fans throughout the years and the announcement of the tour was a special moment of celebration and gratitude.

“There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together. I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience – I get to stand in the WE of our concerts,” Jon Bon Jovi said as cited by Louder Sound. “And I’ve spoken extensively about my gratitude but I will say it again, I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited!”

The 14-date run is composed of arena residencies and stadium shows which will kick off on July 7 for a nine-day show followed by performances in major cities in the U.K. in August and September.

Moreover, the upcoming tour is in support of their 16th studio album Forever, released in 2024.

On June 10, 1922, legendary Hollywood actress and singer Judy Garland was born, and just 16 years later, she was already hard at work on a movie that would come to define the industry.

Garland began acting in a variety of shorts and lesser-known projects early in her childhood, and by her teen years, she was landing significantly larger roles. However, her undisputed breakout role was as Dorothy Gale in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Garland landed the gig when she was still just 16, which is particularly impressive given what the movie required of the young star.

In addition to the demands of acting in a range of unusual scenes, from getting swept up in a tornado and landing in a far away magical land to being abducted by an army of flying monkeys (all of which was done long before the invention of CGI), Garland had to deliver an emotional classic ballad: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

The song has proven to be as timeless as the actress who sang it, and even several decades later, it remains a cultural touchstone—although The Wizard of Oz has never really left the public eye.

From The Wiz in 1978 and Return to Oz in 1985 to Oz the Great and Powerful in 2013 and, of course, Wicked, adaptations of The Wizard of Oz have been going strong for decades, and Judy Garland's iconic role will forever be a part of that.

The Wizard of Oz wasn't Garland's only major role, though. The star went on to appear in a host of major movies, including, in 1954, a remake of A Star Is Born. Notably, Garland also went on to have three children, one of whom, Liza Minnelli, has become famous in her own right.

Sadly, Garland did have a shockingly short life. In June of 1969, when she was just 47 years old, Garland died suddenly and unexpectedly, reportedly from accidental barbiturate overdose. Despite her early death, though, Judy Garland had a massive and lasting impact that, 104 years after she was born, is still being celebrated.

More than 60 years ago, Brian Wilson accomplished a seemingly impossible feat, completing a Beach Boys album almost entirely in secret and inspiring one of the most important rock albums of all time, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

In 1966, Brian Wilson assembled the most elite session musicians in Los Angeles and recorded an entire album without @The Beach Boys. When it was finished, Bruce Johnston flew to London and played it in his hotel suite for John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The Beatles went back into the studio and made ‘Sgt. Pepper.’ ‘Pet Sounds’ was the album, and the rest is history.

In 1966, while his Beach Boys bandmates—including Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, along with their cousin Mike Love and family friend Al Jardine—were on tour, Brian Wilson recorded the instrumental tracks for Pet Sounds almost entirely in secret. Without the involvement of the rest of the band, Wilson assembled a team of Los Angeles-based session musicians known as The Wrecking Crew, who played everything from pianos and organs to flutes and timpani drums.

When the band returned from tour, they recorded their vocals, including the album's famously intricate harmonies, over the pre-recorded tracks to create one of the most influential and enduring albums in popular music history.

The album contains some of the Beach Boys' most beloved songs, including "Wouldn't It Be Nice" and "God Only Knows," and has long been hailed as a masterpiece by critics and musicians alike.

The unique production and innovative sound of Pet Sounds would go on to inspire another trailblazing rock band to create one of the most important albums in music history.

During this period, Brian Wilson largely stepped away from touring to focus on studio experimentation, which helped create the lush, sophisticated sound for which Pet Sounds became famous. Unlike most pop and rock albums of the era, Pet Sounds was conceived as a cohesive artistic statement rather than simply a collection of singles.

The album's ambition inspired The Beatles to take a break from touring and spend months at Abbey Road Studios creating Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Influenced by Wilson's groundbreaking approach, The Beatles set out to make a complete album experience rather than a series of individual tracks.

While recording at Abbey Road, The Beatles experimented extensively with studio techniques, much as Wilson had done on Pet Sounds, helping create the innovative sound that continues to define the album today. The result was a landmark recording that remains one of the most celebrated albums in music history.

Pet Sounds has received virtually every accolade imaginable and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums ever made. It transformed perceptions of what a pop or rock album could be, and its intricate production techniques laid the groundwork for generations of artists to push the boundaries of studio recording.

More than six decades after its release, Pet Sounds remains a genre-defining work that continues to influence musicians across multiple generations. Its legacy extends far beyond its own success. As the album that inspired one of The Beatles' greatest achievements, Pet Sounds stands not only as a classic record but also as a groundbreaking work of art that continues to be celebrated and studied more than 60 years later.

Little River Band's 1981 breakup anthem "Take It Easy on Me" is one of the soft rock band's most popular tunes. Despite its popularity, however, the song never reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. According to American Songwriter, the song, off the band's 1981 record, Time Exposure, did manage to reach the chart's No. 10 position.

The publication reported that a founding member of the band, Graeham Goble, was responsible for writing the song, which depicts an individual reeling amid a breakup.

In a 2022 interview promoting the band's show at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, Wayne Nelson, who became a member of the Little River Band a year before the release of Time Exposure, said he championed "Take It Easy on Me."

"The instant it came to the band, I kind of became its champion, and to get recorded in the way it is," said the bass player and singer during the 2022 interview.

He then explained that the song is "very rangy, and it's emotional," and has "a very exposed intro to it," making it difficult to play. He also said that "Take It Easy on Me" "is the most challenging" tune that the Little River Band performs live.

"It's that moment where you better have your act together, 20 minutes into the show, to deliver that song, the way it needs to be done," said Nelson.

In the 2022 interview, the musician, now 76, also declined to share which Little River Band song is his favorite to play in front of audiences.

"I never pick one. Because no matter which one I pick, there's somebody else that has a different favorite one. So Paul Anka's answer to that was, 'They're like your kids, if you pick one, you're going to make the other ones mad,'" quipped Nelson.

After Taylor Swift attended Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals with Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce, where she appeared to be cheering for her fiancé's hometown team, many questioned her loyalty.

Especially considering she's been living in the Big Apple since 2014!

But, she put all that to rest on Wednesday, June 10, when she showed up in a New York Knicks-themed shirt as well as a big blue bow in her hair for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden.

The singer was spotted at the game alongside sisters Este and Alana Haim, where she wore a bright blue shirt that said: “Stevie Knicks.”

And fans were loving it!

"Stevie Knicks era is UNREAL Taylor blending her rock queen roots with Knicks energy like the ultimate icon she is. That cheer?? Pure joy!!," one fan wrote.

"he QUEEN OF NEW YORK is present!," another fan expressed.

"He’s not there but this is totally giving Travis energy. He’s def there in spirit," a fan commented.

As was pointed out, Swift was without Kelce, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is currently in the middle of mandatory minicamp. But there were plenty of other celebrities in attendance to keep her company, including Larry David, John McEnroe, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Adam Sandler.

Plus, this gave Swift an extra opportunity to scope out her wedding venue. TMZ reports that the event is set for  July 3 at Madison Square Garden with between 1,100 and 1,200 people expected to attend. The two have "gone to great lengths to ensure privacy, and that includes communicating with invitees by text, rather than physical invitations." And with that, the advantage of the arena is that there are no windows that photographers can peek in.

In 1975, Ted Nugent launched his solo career with a song that ignored nearly every convention of radio-friendly rock.

Lasting more than eight minutes, "Stranglehold" featured extended instrumental passages, multiple guitar solos and a hypnotic groove that seemed designed more for concert stages than commercial airplay.

Yet the song went on to become one of Nugent's signature recordings and remains a timeless power anthem more than five decades later.

"Stranglehold" appeared on Nugent's self-titled debut solo album, Ted Nugent, which arrived after his tenure with The Amboy Dukes. The album helped establish Nugent as a major force in hard rock during the mid-1970s, setting the stage for a string of successful releases throughout the decade.

"Those lyrics were so pertinent because the record company didn't think I should record it because it didn't have a chorus," Nugent told Ultimate Classic Rock. "I went, 'Really, you don't think I should record the song that every night the people go the most crazy about?' [...] That defiant element is what [makes the song]. Even when I play it to this day, even as an old man, you feel it."

One of the most notable aspects of "Stranglehold" is its vocal performance.

While Nugent wrote the song, lead vocals were handled by Derek St. Holmes, whose bluesy delivery became an essential part of the track's appeal. The pairing of St. Holmes' vocals and Nugent's guitar work helped create a distinctive sound that immediately stood out on rock radio.

The song's slow-building structure also made it unique. Rather than rushing toward a chorus, "Stranglehold" unfolds gradually, anchored by a memorable guitar riff and a steady rhythm section that allows the music to breathe. As the track progresses, Nugent delivers a series of extended solos that have become some of the most celebrated guitar passages of the 1970s.

Although the song was far longer than the average single of its era, album-oriented rock stations embraced it. The track became a staple of FM radio, where listeners were often more willing to spend time with lengthy compositions than their Top 40 counterparts.

Over the years, "Stranglehold: developed a reputation as one of the quintessential driving songs of the classic rock era. Its steady groove, expansive instrumental sections and larger-than-life guitar work have made it a favorite soundtrack for road trips and long drives.

The song also helped define Nugent's image as one of hard rock's premier guitar heroes. While he would go on to record numerous hits, many fans continue to view "Stranglehold" as the definitive statement of his musical style.

"It doesn't have to have a chorus," Nugent said in a 2025 interview. "It doesn't have to have a bridge. It doesn't have to have a verse. It doesn't have to have anything except what we believe in our hearts should be in a musical statement. And so to this day, that song means a lot to a lot of people."

More than 50 years after its release, the song remains a fixture on classic rock radio and streaming playlists.

Long before Lainey Wilson was selling out arenas and collecting CMA Awards, she was just a little girl from Louisiana with a dream—and one small request for her hero, Tim McGraw.

In a touching video shared to YouTube on Tuesday, June 9, Wilson looked back on a letter she had written to the country superstar years earlier. 

While visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame ahead of CMA Fest 2026, Wilson stumbled upon her note in one of the exhibits. "Dear Mr. Tim McGraw, Singing, writing and performing are the most important things in my life. All I need is the opportunity, I can do the rest," Wilson, 34, read aloud with a chuckle.

Fast-forward to CMA Fest in Nashville on June 6, and Wilson found herself preparing to meet the man who had inspired her for decades. "This is my childhood dream right here," she said before the encounter. "He don't understand how much of an influence he is to me. I made up dance routines to every song he ever had and I might show him."

But McGraw had a surprise of his own. The 59-year-old country icon revealed that he had only recently learned about the letter and felt “embarassed” that he had never seen it when Wilson first sent it. "I wrote it as though I had gotten the letter," McGraw explained. "Had I gotten it then, this is what I would've said."

McGraw then handed a stunned Wilson a thick letter, revealing another shocking surprise. “Tom Douglas had also wrote a song about the letter, so I sent that to you,” McGraw said.

Overcome with emotion, Wilson replied, "You're going to make me cry…"Don't mess my makeup up for this," she added. "Mama and Deddy are not going to believe this." McGraw then embraced the singer and told her he was "so proud" of everything she had accomplished.

The full-circle moment was made even sweeter when the two Louisiana natives later took the stage together during CMA Fest, performing McGraw's 1995 hit "I Like It, I Love It" for thousands of fans at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

Earlier in the video, before the performance, the two could be seen chopping it up, talking about their home state while discussing how they were going to perform together that night.

Fans were struck with emotion after watching the clip, with so many gushing about McGraw’s gesture and Wilson’s sweetness.

“I'm right there with you darlin'! Born in 87, I grew up to Tim's music. You must have been excited! You worked your butt off to get where you are now. Proud of you darlin'!,” one wrote in the comments.

“OMG this is the greatest thing! Ima cry! ,” another exclaimed.

A third said, “Oh my stars! Tim is down to earth just like Lainey,” while a fourth replied, “Oh I love Lainey! She is absolutely beautiful & humble & funny & just love her southern accent.”

According to the official Graceland website, this year's fourth of July celebration will include  include two "electrifying" concerts, including a performance from The Dreamboats, who are slated to "bring their electrifying, high-energy celebration of 1950s and '60s rock 'n' roll to the Graceland Soundstage for a night that will have you on your feet from the first note."

There will also be a tribute concert from Jimmy Holmes and Patt Dunn, who are expected to "bring Elvis' greatest hits to life — from rock 'n' roll classics to unforgettable ballads and Vegas-era favorites."

The rest of the weekend will also consist of exclusive tour opportunities at various exhibits around Graceland, plus a "fireworks extravaganza" and a special "Gospel Brunch" featuring the Tenneessee Mass Chior.

On May 29, Charlie Puth played to a massive crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The night, which was part of the pop/R&B singer's Whatever’s Clever World Tour, was full of surprise guest stars, including Art Garfunkel, Busta Rhymes, and Kirk Franklin.

Following Garfunkel’s heartfelt “The Boxer” duet with Puth, late-night show host and comedianJimmy Fallon joined Puth for a modern rendition of one of the greatest classic rock songs of all time.

Sporting sunglasses, a black sweater, gray pants, and white sneakers, Fallon harmonized the lyrics to Toto’s "Africa" with Puth, dressed in an oversize blazer, red tie, and jeans. 

Released in 1982, the track was Toto’s biggest single, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. It was featured on their fourth studio album, Toto IV.

Puth and Fallon did the song justice, hitting the high notes and mastering the sing-along chorus. The performance got the thumbs up from fans on social media, commenting everything from, “Toto belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! One of the best ever!” to 'Africa' by legendary Toto David Paich. You nailed it Jimmy and Charlie.” 

Even David Paich, the co-founder, keyboardist, and principal songwriter of the rock band, gave his seal of approval. Taking to Instagram, the legend posted Billboard’s video of the pair rocking out to “Africa” with the caption: “Charlie and Jimmy blessed the rains.”

Robert Carradine, the beloved actor best known for his roles in Lizzie McGuire and Revengeof the Nerds, died at the age of 71 on February 23 after taking his own life. And now, new information has come out about his death.

TMZ reports that, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's report, Carradine's daughter told investigators her father suffered from bipolar disorder, severe depression, anxiety, and recurring suicidal thoughts for roughly two decades before his death. The report adds that he was "taking multiple medications."

"The M.E.'s report states Carradine checked himself into a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital where he had previously received treatment because he was experiencing ongoing suicidal ideation," the outlet writes. "According to the report, an employee went to Carradine's room the following day to tell him his daughter was on the phone. That's when he was found hanging and unresponsive."

Carradine was in cardiac arrest when he was found, and medical personnel attempted to resuscitate. He was then transferred to an intensive care unit, where he ultimately died.

The actor played the father in the Lizzie McGuire series and film, as well as playing Lewis Skolnik in all four Revenge of the Nerdsmovies. Among those who paid tribute to the actor was Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff who shared a post on her Instagram on February 24.

“This one hurts," she wrote. "It’s really hard to face this reality about an old friend. There was so much warmth in the McGuire family, and I always felt so cared for by my on-screen parents. I’ll be forever grateful for that. I’m deeply sad to learn Bobby was suffering. My heart aches for him, his family, and everyone who loved him.”

If there's one thing studying pop music history can teach us, it's that just because a song fails to hit the charts once doesn't mean it won't be a major success sometime down the road...especially if the track is recorded by another artist or band. That's the lesson behind the story of one massively popular '70s ballad, Melissa Manchester's "Don't Cry Out Loud."

Released as a single from Manchester's 1978 album of the same name, "Don't Cry Out Loud" was a huge win for the singer, not only peaking at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 but staying on the charts for so long that it ended up becoming Billboard′s 26th biggest hit of 1979.

Unfortunately for R&B group The Moments, their earlier take on the song didn't have nearly as much luck on the charts.

When The Moments released their recording of "Don't Cry Out Loud" (originally written by Peter Allen and Carole Bayer Sager) as a single from the album Moments With You in 1976, the track debuted at #79 on the Billboard U.S. R&B chart...and that's exactly where it stayed.

Allen also recorded his own take of the song, according to American Songwriter, which was the version Manchester heard when she agreed to record it (at the suggestion of record label president Clive Davis). But when she got to the studio, she discovered she would be accompanied by a full orchestra.

While Davis said later that Manchester hated "Don't Cry Out Loud," in a 2014 interview with Scott Holleran, the singer shared a different recollection, saying, "He remembers history his way and I remember history my way."

"He remembers bringing me 'Don’t Cry Out Loud,'" Manchester continued. "I remember being friends with Peter Allen and Carole Bayer Sager and hearing 'Don’t Cry Out Loud' as a very quiet song, bringing it to him and saying yes, it’s gorgeous, let’s do it the way Peter did it — as beautiful and quiet. When I showed up in the studio and the cannons blew on this huge version — which turned out beautifully, it turned out as a gift."

Whatever Manchester was feeling when she recorded "Don't Cry Out Loud" certainly came through in her performance, still considered to be one of the all-time classic vocals of the decade.
