It's been roughly seven years sinceGame of Thrones came to its final conclusion, and to this day fans continue to criticize the show's polarizing ending.

While most viewers have expressed mixed feelings about the way show's bittersweet finale, some of the show's main stars have also occasionally chimed, voicing their own frustrations with the direction of their respective characters.

In a recent interview with Variety, one of Game of Thrones' foremost stars, Emilia Clarke, specifically mentioned that she was "absolutely livid" when her character was shockingly killed by her on-screen lover in the show's final episode.

In her conversation with Variety, Clarke tried to guess the origins of some of her past lines, leading her to recall her parting words to Kit Harington's Jon Snow just before her death.

"'We break the wheel together.' Kit Harington, also known as Jon Snow," the 39-year-old actress said. "That is the last thing I say before the sneaky little sh*t stabs me. F**king outrageous. I was so pissed," she continued with a laugh. "I was absolutely livid."

Recalling her initial thoughts on her character's progression in the show, Clarke said that her first glimpse into Daenerys' tragic fate was reading the entirety of each script for season 8 of the show.

"That last season, I read them all. I just landed from a holiday and I turned my phone on, it went 'Bing!'" Clarke said. "I went home, sat down, did what I always do which is I'll read them all the way through and found myself walking out of the house in a daze, like forgot my keys, forgot my phone, forgot everything, and just like walked for hours just to assimilate what it was I had to do that season. It was kind of super, super intense."

"Outside of the controversy around her actions, him killing me really bummed me out," Clarke continued, referencing her death. "Kind of rude. I gave that man everything, I burned cities to the ground for him, for us, so we can do this. I'm over it, clearly," she humorously went on to add. "So over it, it's unreal."

When it comes to retirement, many people think that getting your financials in order is the most important part of preparing. Why Retirement Is One of Life's Biggest Transitions

Jhanell Biggs, Founder and CEO of Moro, which focuses on the "human side" of retirement transitions, says that people often overlook this side of the process, noting that she works specifically with people on the day-to-day behavioral and lifestyle shifts that happen when professionals leave careers that have become deeply intertwined with their identities.

She says that this transition is a major one, and compares it to some of the life-altering milestones that people traditionally go through, which Biggs says include big moments like heading off to college, starting your first job, moving out on your own, getting married, or having children.

"These milestones are woven into the fabric of our lives, with extensive tools and resources at our fingertips," she says. "Retirement, particularly the human and non-financial side, lacks that same level of preparation and readiness." As such, Biggs says we owe it to ourselves to plan for more than just budgetary concerns.

"I wish more people understood that retirement is not just a financial finish line," Biggs says, calling it a lifestyle "starting line" instead. "Clients spend decades working and saving for retirement while paying little to no attention to how they will actually spend their time once work is no longer part of their daily routine."

"Yes, golfing and traveling the world sounds ideal, but if you have 10 or 20 years after retiring, it's important to have interests and side quests that keep you moving, learning, and mentally engaged," she continues, adding that sometimes retirement can mean ending your "formal" career in favor of an "encore" career. "This could be a part-time role, a passion project, or a second act that allows people to keep earning while staying purposeful on their own terms."

4 Things You Should Do Before You Call It Quits

Biggs says that there are a few steps you can take to give yourself the best retirement outcomes, which include things like:

• Build a sense of community outside of your job. "For most people, work provides daily socialization, whether passive or active," she says, noting that those connections naturally fade after retirement. Before you clock out for the last time, Biggs says you should ensure that you've created a community that exists outside your job.
• Find neighborhood "anchors" to stay connected. Biggs says that it's important to make sure you've found a way to nurture the different parts of your life with anchors within your own community. "An intellectual anchor like a bookstore or museum, a physical anchor like a park or yoga studio, and a social anchor like a café or volunteer organization," she says. "These spaces create opportunities for meaningful, organic connections."
• Create an additional part of your identity that doesn't have anything to do with your job. "High achievers and those who have built their entire identity around their professional role often struggle the most with retirement, regardless of gender," she says. "When work has defined who you are for decades, stepping away can create an unexpected identity vacuum." It's important to find things that define you beyond your nine-to-five, like volunteering or a specific hobby you can continue into retirement.
• Have a care plan if you live alone. "Identify a trusted friend or family member to serve as a healthcare proxy, and connect with a geriatric care manager who can advocate for you as your health needs change over time," she adds.

The Sooner You Start, the Better Off You'll Be

As for when you start, Biggs says there's no better time than the present, especially if you can train yourself to think of retirement as more of a bridge to the next chapter of your life instead of as a closing door.

"I wholeheartedly stress the 'reset' mindset, which encourages people to shift their thinking from retiring to something to retiring with something," she says, noting that this process can start years or even decades before you actually exit the workforce. "People should continuously design and evolve their lives over time," she continues. "Don't wait until retirement to start exercising or learning a new language. Retirement should be considered an always-on practice."

Not only that, but Biggs says that planning ahead can lead to better retirement outcomes. "Being just as deliberate about the human side of retirement as the financial side is essential," she continues. "The transition itself can be overwhelming, and having a clear vision and a flexible plan creates a smoother path toward a happier, more energized post-work life."

In a recent New Heights clip shared on Instagram, the brothers discussed what American fans chant at soccer games and why one familiar phrase does not exactly get them fired up. With the World Cup underway and the Kelces taking their podcast to Los Angeles for a live show tied to the tournament, the timing was fitting.

Jason had a very clear complaint: American soccer chants may be a little too polite.

"That is the most loser mentality chant I have ever heard in my life," Jason said in the clip.

"It's just a weird chant," Jason added.

The Brothers Think USA Fans Need More Edge

Jason compared the energy of American soccer fans to what he remembered from Brazilian fans, saying he felt other countries had more exciting chants.

He also noted that "USA, USA" still works.

"Obviously, we got USA, USA, which is like just an epic, awesome chant," Jason said.

Still, he said he thinks American fans have more to work with than the "I believe" chant. In his view, the mentality needs to be more direct and less hopeful.

"We're too nice," Travis said.

The brothers then started playing a new version of the chant with more bite.

Jason suggested that instead of saying "I believe that we can win," fans should say something much more confident.

The version they landed on probably won't show up on a family-friendly stadium screen anytime soon, but it was definitely more confident.

The Clip Comes Before 'New Heights Live' in Los Angeles

The chant conversation also arrives as Jason and Travis are bringing New Heights to Los Angeles for a live event.

New Heights Live in LA is scheduled for Monday, June 15, at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. The event is tied to the World Cup and is expected to include surprise celebrity guests, interactive fan opportunities and a Team USA celebration.

According to a press release shared by Wondery, the recorded episode will be available June 17 on YouTube, Prime Video and podcast platforms.

Carl Radke really is a mess!

Radke certainly did not hold back during the highly anticipated Summer House three-part reunion, but the Bravo star almost didn't make it as he nearly ended up in the hospital the same morning that they filmed.

"I'm not going to lie, I bit my tongue by accident this morning in my apartment," Radke told BravoTV.com on April 23. "And I almost was this close to going to the hospital because apparently it's flapped and it's not great."

However, he made it clear that his injury wouldn't prevent him from speaking.

"I'm not going to bite my tongue today. That's for sure. I already got it out of the way," Radke added. "So I'm anxious. I'm nervous. I'm glad some of the boys are here. The good ones. And just looking forward to try and clear the air and making progress, but I hope there's truth and I hope people can take accountability and apologize."

While the Season 10 reunion looked back on some moments from the prior season, the biggest focus was on the new relationship between West Wilson and Amanda Batula. This made headlines as Wilson was best friends with Batula's ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, and also was in a prior relationship with her best friend, Ciara Miller.

Radke was among many of the other cast members who were very emotional during the taping, but someone who didn't show as much emotion was Wilson, who was called out by Andy Cohen for his behavior.

“No offense, are you on like, a bunch of beta blockers or what? Everybody’s so emotional around you about you and your relationship, and you’re like this," Cohen asked.

"I took a beta blocker. I don’t know if that’s why I’m not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me. I apologize if I don’t read emotional enough,” Wilson replied.

The third and final part of the reunion is out, but the popular show will have one final episode, Summer House: The Aftermath, which will feature one-on-one conversations recorded after the reunion. It will air on Tuesday, June 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Will Russell Crowe Get Married Again?

 While Crowe and Theriot are very happy together, the actor said in a recent interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes that despite the rumors of their engagement, he has no intention of getting married again.

“We are very, very good friends, and we have a wonderful relationship. My life is so joyous and happy at the moment — why ruin that with a wedding?” said Crowe.

Crowe added that his previous marriage to Danielle Spencer, from whom he split in 2018, was enough.

“I know how it can go and where it can go. So I don’t need to go to that place,” he said.

He and Theriot do “everything together,” and shared “We’re very happy, man. It’s a very positive life.”

How Did Russell Crowe Lose 50 Pounds?

Back in 2024, Crowe weighed about 50 pounds more. In November, he made an appearance on the popularJoe Rogan Experience podcast and revealed how he managed to drop the extra pounds.

“I was 126 kilos when I finished Nuremberg,” Crowe told Rogan about his role as Hermann Göring in the 2025 film. “I’m 100.9 now.”

Crowe explained that in addition to focusing on diet and exercise, he credits much of his weight loss to Rogan introducing him to a platform called Ways2Well. According to its website, Ways2Well is a healthcare platform that combines everything from bloodwork and hormone optimization to stem cell therapy and peptide therapy.

“I’m not really across the science, but the real benefit I’m getting from these into my shoulders, my knees, and also IVs, is that it’s calmed down my body’s inflammation,” Crowe said, adding that he has years of sports injuries and arthritis.

Helen Hunt is celebrating a milestone birthday today as she turns 63.

Born June 15, 1963, the California-born actress carved out a career that helped define romanticcomedies of the late 1990s.

Hunt first rose to fame through television before becoming one of the most recognizable faces of ’90s Hollywood.

Her breakout success came in Mad About You, where she portrayed newlywed Jamie Buchman opposite on-screen husband Paul Reiser. Audiences were drawn to their pitch-perfect chemistry, and the series ran for seven seasons, establishing her as a major comedic talent. 

She earned three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress, along with four Primetime Emmy Awards for Lead Actress. By the final season, she was paid $1 million per episode of the NBCsitcom, going down in television history as the first female actor to reach that per-episode milestone.

Her film career reached new heights, cementing her as a leading star with her role in As Good as It Gets, opposite Jack Nicholson. It was a critical and box office hit, grossing $314.1 million worldwide. In the role of a single mother, she balanced humor and emotional depth, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress.

Throughout the ‘90s and early 2000s, she became closely associated with the romantic comedy genre, including her role as Dr. Jo Harding in Twister, where she worked with her estranged husband Bill (played by Bill Paxton), to gather data on a tornado using a ground-breaking device named Dorothy. The action-diaster film, with romantic elements, became the second-highest-grossing film of 1998. 

Starring in What Women Want opposite Mel Gibson, further reinforced her reputation as a rom-com queen of the era, as one fan noted on Reddit, “The movie is great, I personally love it, one of the finest romantic comedies from the early 2000s.”

She also appeared in the survival drama, Cast Away, as the long-term girlfriend of Tom Hanks’ character.

The 2025–2026 TV season wasn’t great for NBC shows, but there was only one comedy canceled out of the lot. After just one season, Stumble was canceled, and NBCUniversal’s President of Program Planning Strategy, Jeff Bader, has expressed his regret over that decision.

Stumble brought something new and refreshing to the mockumentary style. It got rid of many of the tropes, such as treating the husbands of successful lead women as dumb and making the main cheerleader a hurtful bully for laughs, and added wholesome entertainment. Many loved it, with it landing an 82% score from critics and a 96% score from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jeff Bader Admits Scheduling Was the Problem

When talking with Deadline, Bader expressed his regret over the cancellation, sharing that he feels “terrible about it.” He also admitted that the scheduling of the show was part of the problem, making it clear that “Obviously, there is an issue with a single-cam coming out of the multi-cam, just tonally, it was different than Happy’s Place.”

The Reba McEntire comedy kicked off Friday nights with a bang, but Stumble struggled to keep up. Not only were the two different styles of comedy in terms of filming, but they also brought different energies through the storytelling. Happy’s Place is a traditional multi-cam comedy, while Stumble was a mockumentary style more suited to following new episodes of St. Denis Medical.

Bader went on to indicate that the network is going to learn from the scheduling experience. This is also something NBC has admitted is a problem on Thursdays following new episodes of Law & Order: SVU after The Hunting Party’s recent cancellation.

Making Room for More Sports on NBC

The cancellation came with the disappointing news that NBC is stepping even further away from scripted content. Not only will Tuesdays remain all about basketball, but Sundays will be a sports night throughout the year. After Sunday Night Football comes to an end, it will become Sunday Night Basketball and then Sunday Night Baseball.

It creates less space for new scripted content, leading to a shocking 11 cancellations on NBC in the 2025–2026 TV season. Bader admitted that this was part of the reason for the cancellation of Stumble, saying, “We had to actually give up on some shows that we really love to make room to launch our future potential hits.”

Disney and ABC are gearing up for a milestone Fourth of July celebration in Nashville, enlisting a number of music superstars to help ring in America's 250th birthday.

On Monday, June 15, ABC officially announced "Disney Celebrates America: Nashville's Star-Spangled Bash," slated to air live coast-to-coast on July 4, 2026. The "one-of-a-kind" celebration will feature "performances by iconic artists and musical acts spanning multiple genres," according to a press release about the event.

Among the several noteworthy musical acts tapped to perform at the celebratory event, some of the biggest names on the lineup include country superstars like Tim McGraw and Reba McEntire, plus other legendary artists like Sublime, Nick Jonas, Ne-Yo, Boyz II Men and many more.

The event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will also feature a massive fireworks display, set to a live score performed by the Nashville Symphony.

Today marked Kate Middleton's tenth appearance at the royal family's annual Garter Day ceremony—and she wore her wedding earrings!

The Prince and Princess of Wales were all smiles as they rode in a horse-drawn carriage through Windsor, evoking memories of the procession following their wedding ceremony in 2011.

Kate looked picture perfect in a pale gold coatdress, with the diamond and pearl earrings that she wore fifteen years ago as a royal bride sparkling below her hat's brim.

But did you know that her wedding earrings have a special family meaning?

They were commissioned especially for Kate by her parents Carole and Michael Middleton and served as her 'something new' in her iconic bridal look.

The Middletons worked with London jeweler Robinson Pelham to create the earrings' oak leaf design, with a diamond-set acorns suspended at their hearts.

The symbols of oak leaf and acorn were drawn from the coat of arms that Queen Elizabeth granted to Michael Middleton a few months before his daughter's marriage to Prince William.

The oak leaf was chosen to represent the area in Berkshire where the Middletons have their home of Bucklebury Manor, a Grade II-listed Georgian property, which is home to many ancient oak trees.

The three acorns in the coat of arms symbolize Carole and Michael's three children, Kate, Pippa, and James.

The incorporation of these symbols into Kate's wedding look was a sweet reminder of her family and the leafy part of the UK where she grew up, never imagining that she would one day be a princess and future queen.

The design of the oak leaves was modelled on the scrolls of the Cartier Halo Tiara that held Kate's wedding veil in place.

We love that Kate still wears her wedding earrings on occasion, and we love the outfit by Patrick McDowell that she paired them with today. Hat season is well and truly in session—this is the third time in the last fortnight that we've seen the Princess of Wales beaming from below a broad-brimmed hat.

Elizabeth didn't return to the franchise while Faris became the face of it. However, her partnership with the director wasn't smooth. The franchise was taken away from him and he asked Faris not to do the sequels despite her being locked into a three-movie deal.

"It was such a devastating moment in the sense that I admired Keenen so much, and he was asking me to do something, but I was under contract," the actress explained. "He said, 'All they can do is sue you!' and I’m thinking, 'I’m living in a one-bedroom apartment by the farmer’s market!'"

Faris later didn't star in Scary Movie 5. The director and other familiar stars have returned for the 2026 movie. Regina Hall, Lochlyn Munro, Carmen Electra, and Dave Sheridan from the first movie are also back to spoof newer films like Ma, Sinners, Get Out, and more.

Scary Movie is now available in theaters.

Love Island USA fans get ready to experience the show like never before, as the Peacock streaming franchise heads to the big screen later this month.

As the Islanders embark on Casa Amor, the series will be heading to the silver screen for an event unlike any other, as select theaters will be hosting a screening of the special episode.

The movie purchasing site Fandango began promoting the event this morning, sharing that “Love Island USA is making its big screen debut for a limited screening event. Experience the Villa’s biggest shake-up, Casa Amor, at select theaters.”

The event is scheduled for one week from now, on June 22, 2026.

Those unable to attend can still watch the episode at home, as Love Island USA continues to stream on Peacock.

What is Casa Amor?

Casa Amor is a seasonal twist marking the halfway point of the season. Casa separates the Islanders, with one group (boys or girls) leaving the villa while the other group stays.

The group that leaves enters “Casa Amor,” a similar villa to where they’ve been staying, only filled with new and exciting singles.

Meanwhile, back at the main villa, another group of singles enters, as both groups are tempted by fate to see just how strong their original connections truly were.

Throughout the experience, viewers will watch as various challenges and twists amp up the Islanders' dynamics with the Casa boys and girls to see if a new connection can truly be made.

Following the end of Casa Amor, the Islanders and those from Casa will be brought back together, with the original Islanders given the option to reunite with their original partner, couple up with someone from Casa, or remain single and vulnerable.

Casa Amor has been home to many iconic moments throughout the franchise, and with the Villa's current dynamics, viewers are expecting another chaotic ride.

Influencer and nurse Jen Hamilton has broken her silence after hinting at a divorce from husband, Brian Hamilton, after nearly 14 years of marriage.

Hamilton took to social media on Monday, June 15, sharing a clip of herself laying in bed with "Sand Drawing" by Judah Earl playing over the short video.

"It is my own fault," she began in text written over the image. "I posted my real time pain for it to be witnessed. For someone to tell me I'm going to be OK. I just didn't expect so many people to use it for content. So now my FYP on every app is just video/statuses about me/him."

She added, "I'm gonna stop scrolling. I am just hurting and every attempt to distract myself just ends up making it worse because it's everywhere. No one owes me privacy."

Hamilton went on to say that she still loves her husband and wants "the best for him," before begging her followers to stop talking about their relationship.

"It's my own fault. I'm sorry. I regret it so much," she wrote.

In the comment of her video, the labor and delivery nurse called the situation "complex."

"We both are hurting, broken people. And I love him so much. Please send love and healing vibes his way, but do not reach out or talk bad about him," she wrote. "It’s my fault for bringing it here. I was just hurting and looking for comfort. So much regret."

Hamilton first hinted at a separation from her husband in a Saturday, June 13, post.

"Day 1: absolutely devastated. Please don’t try to reach out to anybody on my behalf. That would make everything so much worse for me. Please just let me grieve," she captioned her since-deleted post. "My heart is absolutely shattered."

Hamilton added, "He broke my heart but I still love him with all the pieces 💔"

The Title Matters

Chase Bank outlines several types of home titles, but these three will apply to most homeowners. The first is sole ownership, which means your name is the only one. Married couples may have a joint tenancy with right of survivorship, which means the house will pass to the surviving co-owner automatically. The last common scenario is a living trust, in which the property transfers to a beneficiary without probate. 

Depending on how your home is titled, you may have an easy transition for your heirs or one that’s costly and dragged out in court for months.

With A Will And Without One

Having a will makes the property transfer process much easier for your heirs. Everything will still go to probate, but your wishes will be honored. If you don’t have a will, things become more complicated, especially with blended families, multiple heirs, and unclear lines of succession.

In most cases, the individual state’s intestate succession laws decide who inherits. If there’s a surviving spouse or children, everything will eventually transfer to them.

Even if no one challenges your property, the transfer of ownership can take 6 months to a year in court. 

Mortgage and Bills

If you still have a mortgage when you pass, your heirs will still need to pay it, even if the property is in probate. Property taxes, insurance, and upkeep also continue. Federal protections do allow heirs to take over a current mortgage rather than forcing them to refinance. 

AARP notes that if there’s no clear title due to a lack of estate planning, heirs could have trouble obtaining insurance.

What You Can Do Today

The best thing you can do for your heirs is to create a will. Even the most basic planning could help make the transition smoother. You’ll also want to talk to a financial or estate planner about a revocable living trust and to see if your state offers a transfer-on-death (TOD) deed.

Finally, make sure your heirs have the proper beneficiary and title designations. Outlining your wishes for a lawyer to follow will make sure they’re properly executed.

If you aren’t sure about your lines of succession, or you don’t have proper documentation, it’s ok. You should speak with an estate lawyer today to ensure the transfer of your property goes smoothly. Small steps now help your heirs avoid big issues later.

Why Tonight's New Moon Matters for Milky Way Visibility

Moonlight is one of the biggest factors limiting what we can see in the night sky. Even a little bit of moonlight or natural skyglow can wash out the Milky Way's ethereal structure. During a new moon, however, that interference is essentially removed, allowing for clearer views of deep-sky objects beyond our solar system.

This is why astronomers and stargazers often consider the new moon period prime time to see the Milky Way. The darker the sky, the more detail becomes visible to the naked eye, especially the Milky Way's brighter core region, known as the Galactic Center.

When and Where to See the Milky Way Tonight

In most parts of the Northern Hemisphere, the best viewing window begins about 1.5 to 2.5 hours after sunset, once the sky reaches astronomical twilight. To know where to look, find Vega, Altair and Deneb, the three stars that make up the Summer Triangle. This asterism serves as a natural pointer to the Milky Way, since the galaxy runs right through its center.

Location makes a big difference for Milky Way visibility. For the clearest view, get as far away from city lights as possible. Rural areas, open fields, coastlines and designated dark-sky locations offer the best visibility. If you're unsure where to go, light pollution maps can help you find darker skies near you.

Once you're outside, give your eyes about 20 to 30 minutes to adjust to the dark. During that time, avoid bright phone screens or flashlights, which can reset your night vision and make faint stars harder to see.

A Rare Window Into Our Galaxy

The Milky Way is always above us, but it's rarely visible this clearly to the naked eye. June marks the beginning of the summer Milky Way season, when the galaxy's core becomes more prominent in the night sky. Viewing conditions will steadily improve through July and August, offering plenty more chances to observe our galactic home, but tonight's new moon provides a rare opportunity for optimal viewing right now.

The use of the bagpipes in the AC/DC classic “It’s a Long Way to the Top” make the track iconic. However, those bagpipes have a fun backstory.

When the 1975 hard rock anthem was being created, it didn’t originally have the bagpipes. It was producer (and elder brother of Malcolm and Angus Young) George Young who realized that it needed something extra, just to add an oomph to the song, and that’s when Bon Scott shared a bit of his past. He used to play in a pipe band.

So, off went Young to get some bagpipes. When Scott didn’t tell anyone was that he played the drums in the band. He had to quickly figure out how to play the bagpipes, and even then, it was with the chanter — a record-type instrument that is used for teaching the bagpipes. The use of the drones within the music had a bigger story.

Mark Evanstold the story, sharing that after buying the bagpipes, Scott owned up to the lack of detail when it came to the position he had in the pipe band. The band then figured out how to make the drone sounds, sharing in an interview that they would blow “the drones individually and then the tape looped, and [they] got the chanter.”

As much as the song became an iconic hit, it ended up “becoming a bit of a hassle” for any live performances. The band had to tune all the instruments to the drone of the bagpipes, because the drone is permanently locked to a B-flat.

It meant AC/DC didn’t play the song live all that much, with Evans saying, “we probably played the song live maybe 30 times most.” Since the death of Scott, the song hasn’t been played live, as frontman Brian Johnson thought it would dishonor Scott.

Yet, it’s become one of the most iconic songs and is one of those that most fans of the classic rock band will name first.

James Barker, executive producer of Love Island USA, has died in Fiji while the show is filming its eighth season.

In a statement to TMZ, the network said, "ITV America and Peacock will honor in Tuesday’s episode of Love Island USA series Executive Producer James Barker, who passed away last week in Fiji after suffering an unexpected medical emergency."

“James’ unimaginable loss has been deeply felt across not just the entire Love Island USA production, but throughout all of ITV and Peacock," the statement continued. "He was a beloved and greatly valued member of our collective family whose kindness, talent and dedication left an indelible mark on all of us and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to James’ partner, family, friends and colleagues.”

No further details were provided on Barker's cause of death. He was 40 years old.

According to Barker's LinkedIn, he joined ITV America in August 2020 as a story producer and worked on the hit reality dating series on and off before becoming a full-time executive producer in January 2026.

He contributed to both production and post-production of the show, and also oversaw the series' soundtrack.

Barker first began his television career in 2011 at Leftfield Pictures, where he worked as a producer on shows like Counting Cars, Forged in Fire, and Pawn Stars. In additional to Love Island USA and Love Island Games, Barker producer Queer Eye at ITV America.

The next episode of Love Island USA will stream on Peacock on Monday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET.

Led Zeppelin’s fourth album is one of the most iconic rock records of all time. Best known for the epic anthem “Stairway to Heaven,” the first side of the 1971 classic rock album also features back-to-back bangers with “Black Dog” and “Rock and Roll.”

Both songs highlight the thunderous drum work of late drummer John Bonham, “the undisputed king of rock drumming,” as named by BBC’s Classical Music.

Fifty-five years after its release, Bonham’s iconic snare and open-high-hat drum intro for “Rock and Roll” was ranked the best drum intro of all time by Ultimate Classic Rock. The eclectic ranking featured everything from Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” to the Go-Go’s “We Got the Beat,” with the Zeppelin classic topping the list of 40 songs.

“Bonham was all about propulsion, moving the song forward with tempo and force,” the music site shared. “Here, the constant cymbal strikes in the intro make you think the whole thing could careen out of control. But this was Zeppelin – everything was played as intended, every hammer drop and crash in its place. This was rock 'n' roll, and for a while there wasn't another band on the planet that could play it better. There still might not be.”

The song was created spontaneously in the studio

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page once revealed that “Rock and Roll” was born out of a spontaneous jam session.

Speaking with The Times in an interview, the legendary guitarist recalled that the song came off the cuff in the studio during a jam led by Bonham.

“We were recording another number ['Four Sticks'],” Page said. “We’d just finished a take, and John Bonham did the drum intro, and we just followed on. I started doing pretty much half of that riff you hear on ‘Rock and Roll’ and it was just so exciting that we thought, ‘Let’s just work on this.’ The riff and the sequence was really immediate to those 12-bar patterns that you had in those old rock songs like Little Richard, etc. And it was just so spur-of-the-moment the way that it just came together more or less out of nowhere.”

In Bonham’s brother Mick’s book, John Bonham: The Powerhouse Behind Led Zeppelin, the late rocker was quoted as saying his drumming was influenced by "early soul” records.

“I’ve always liked drums to be bright and powerful,” the late drummer once said. “I like our act to be like a thunderstorm.”

The "Everlong" wait for many Foo Fighters fans will soon be over, as the legendary rock band will officially make their India debut early next year.

The band posted the exciting new update to Instagram on Monday, June 15, in the midst of their ongoing Take Cover Tour. Not only will the tour be continuing into 2027, but the Foo Fighters will be performing in India for the first time ever.

The Dave Grohl-led group unveiled two India shows scheduled for January 2027. The group will first stop in the city of Bengaluru on Jan. 29 before heading to Mumbai for a Jan. 31 show.

Not only were fans hyped-up about the band's first-ever tour stops in India, but many users on Instagram also couldn't contain their excitement over the opening acts announced as part of the India tour dates, which will both include performances from Taylor Momsen's rock band, The Pretty Reckless.

The band Die Spitz will also perform at each of the Foo Fighters' stops in India, while the Bengaluru show will feature additional opening acts, Alain Johannes and Pinkshift. The Mumbai concert will also include performances by the band Still in Therapy and singer-songwriter, Mali.

"Foo Fighters make their long-awaited India debut in Bengaluru and Mumbai early next year!" read the caption on the band's Instagram post. They added, "It's Times Like These you learn to live again," a reference to their iconic 2003 single, "Times Like These."

"Taylor Momsen and Dave Grohl, on a single bill? TAKE MY MONEY!" one enthusiastic fan commented on the fans, while others commended the "superb lineup" of opening acts.

"This will be one for the books," one fan predicted, while another person noted that it's been a "Long time coming" for this news.

Tickets for the Foo Fighters India tour dates will go on sale Tuesday, June 16 at 12:00 pm.

There are few places across this nation that hold the status of cultural hallowed ground on the same level as The Lorraine Motel. The former Memphis hotel and now National Civil Rights Museum has one of the most fascinating histories of any place in the country, which is told with a masterful and sensitive eloquence in the new documentary, The Lorraine.

Premiering at the Tribeca Festival, the film chronicles the important and complicated history of one of the most important landmarks in the country, and the triumph that has fallen out of the public consciousness.

The hotel is more infamously known for being the place where Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. was tragically assassinated in 1968. An event of this magnitude was sure to overshadow much of the history of the place, but the film makes an amazing and concentrated effort to show why this place should be celebrated and remembered. There's a reason this was the hotel King chose to stay in, and it's a story worth telling.

An Epicenter of Culture and Music

During Jim Crow, segregation prevented black people from being able to travel with ease of mind or access. Between sundown towns and proportionally far less access to businesses, travelling across the country was a dangerous and difficult endeavor. To help aid black travelers, Victor Hugo Green created the Green Book, a travel guide for black folks that listed black owned and accepting businesses across the country. The Lorraine Motel was a prominently featured establishment in the book, and it was in a landmark of black culture: Memphis, TN.

Memphis was and remains a hotbed for music. Between Beale street and all the studios that called the city home, the city is an incredibly creative space, especially for black music from the '40s to the '70s. The Lorraine prided itself on being the nicest of the black hotels in the city, and because of this, it attracted some of the greatest American artists in history.

Musicians like Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Aretha Franklin, and Otis Redding were frequent regulars of the establishment, and they formed a community there. It wasn't just a hotel, but a center of black cultural community that fostered so much incredible music.

Eddie Floyd was another iconic artist to frequent the hotel, with his chart topping hit "Knock On Wood" being written right there at the hotel.

For a time, the hotel was the epicenter of black music and culture in the city, thus making it one of the most important cultural centers in America's history. The film does an amazing job of showing that the immense tragedy that occurred here should not erase or overshadow the beauty and power of the place.

The Lorraine is one of my favorite documentaries of Tribeca. There's so much research put into it and the interviews that are collected feature so much warmth and reverence. It's a film that highlights so many traumatic events in this nation's history with a layer of love and optimism. It's a special and important film that is endlessly relevant and necessary.
