Donald Trump Wouldn’t Leave Spain’s World Cup Celebration, So the Internet Put Him Everywhere
From The Last Supper to a galaxy far, far away, President Donald Trump has found himself at the center of countless viral memes. Now, the internet has a new favorite image after he lingered onstage during Spain’s World Cup celebration.
During the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final trophy ceremony, Trump helped present the trophy to Spain before lingering onstage as the team gathered to celebrate. FIFA President Gianni Infantino appeared to guide him aside so the champions could lift the trophy and take their official team photo. The awkward moment quickly went viral, sparking social media reactions and memes after Trump was later cropped out of some team celebration images.
"He just can’t help himself," Ohio Senator Casey Weinstein posted on Threads along with an image of Trump awkwardly standing amongst the Star Warscast, to which commenters added, "He stole Chewbacca’s medal" and "He’ll probably print this and hang it in the Oval Office. Then he’ll tell people how he won the greatest ship off of Han Solo and how it can do the kettle run in less than 12 parsnips."
Australian broadcaster on hot mic after Trump crashes Spain’s World Cup trophy presentation: “They’re gonna edit him out of that” pic.twitter.com/s2vIIw3cgE
— MeidasTouch (@MeidasTouch) July 19, 2026Another person added Trump to The Last Supper painting, writing, "Last night, the president found another opportunity to insert himself into the team photo." This sparked a slew of spinoffs, including inserting Trump into historic moments, standing on stage with some of the royal family, and on the Jaws boat being attacked by the mammoth shark.
On X, someone used AI to create a video of Trump handing Spain's Ferran Torres an air conditioning unit, calling it "best A/C's, better than medal, enjoy the cool."
Meanwhile, the Spanish football federation and FIFA reportedly cropped Donald Trump out of official World Cup trophy celebration photos after he lingered onstage during Spain’s victory ceremony. The edits kept the focus on the champions’ historic celebration.
1971 Carole King Song, By a Woman Who Said 'I Don't Kiss and Tell,' Hides a Famous Lover's Identity Forever
Carole King's "It's Too Late," one of the biggest singles of 1971 and a centerpiece of the Tapestry album, has a secret most listeners never even considered: the lyrics weren't written by King at all. They were written by Toni Stern, a songwriter who worked closely with King in the early 1970s and who took the true meaning of those words to her grave when she died in January 2024.
Stern wrote the lyrics in 20 minutes after her relationship with James Taylor ended, the same James Taylor who played guitar and sang backing vocals on Tapestry itself. King has confirmed it herself, saying simply: "Those lyrics are by Ms. Toni Stern." And Stern refused to say what they were about for the rest of her life.
King's voice is in the song, and her face is on the album cover. Every instinct says she wrote every word of it. But the lyrics, "something inside has died, and I can't hide, and I just can't fake it," belong to Stern.
Stern and King were close collaborators through the late 1960s and early 1970s. Stern wrote the words; King wrote the music. When Stern wrote the lyrics to "It's Too Late," she'd just come out of a relationship with James Taylor. Taylor had moved on toJoni Mitchell. The lines "it used to be so easy living here with you / you were light and breezy, and I knew just what to do / now you look so unhappy, and I feel like a fool" read like the memory of a very specific moment. Someone easy to be with, then wasn't—someone who left for someone else.
Stern handed those lyrics to King, whose professional life was more intertwined with Taylor than almost anyone else's. King set them to music and performed them as if they were her own. And then James Taylor, the man the lyrics were possibly written about, played guitar and sang backing vocals on the same Tapestry album.
The man at the center of the story appears on the same record as the story.
Stern knew what she'd written. She never said so. When author Sheila Weller asked her directly, Stern said: "I won't say who 'It's Too Late' is about. I don't kiss and tell."
King, for her part, often talked about "It's Too Late" in interviews in relation to her own relationship with Gerry Goffin. Her emotional delivery made the song feel completely autobiographical. The secret was protected by two women simultaneously and from two different directions. Stern said nothing. King implied something else. Between them, the truth stayed exactly where they left it.
Toni Stern died on January 17, 2024. She was 79. The New York Times published her obituary. She never confirmed who "It's Too Late" was about. "I don't kiss and tell" is now her permanent final word on the subject.
Not withheld. Gone.
The Song Is Still Everywhere. The Secret Isn't Coming Back.Tapestry spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for nearly six years. At the time it was released, it was the best-selling album in history. "It's Too Late" won the Grammy for Record of the Year in 1972. A song whose lyrics were written by someone who refused to say what they were about won the most prestigious Grammy in music. One of the songs on that album was written about a man who also played guitar on it. Nobody said so publicly for 55 years.
"It's Too Late" has more than 307 million streams on Spotify. Carole King is currently rereleasing her 2016 Hyde Park Tapestry concert for its 10th anniversary. The concert drew 65,000 people to London's Hyde Park and featured "It's Too Late" performed to one of the largest crowds of King's career. Right now, in 2026, that performance is reaching a new generation of listeners who are hearing the song for the first time with no idea that the woman who wrote the lyrics is gone, and that neither she nor the woman who sang them ever officially said who those words were about.
The song is 55 years old. It's still on the radio. It's still on streaming playlists. It's still the song people reach for when something ends.
Toni Stern wrote those lyrics in 20 minutes. She never said who they were about. Carole King is releasing her Tapestry concert to a new audience right now, and "It's Too Late" is still playing everywhere.
The song outlasted the secret. The secret outlasted everyone who kept it.
1978 Rock Classic, Written About a Real-Life Stalker, Became a Defining Anthem
Blondie's iconic hit "One Way or Another" became a sing-along favorite thanks to its infectious beat and catchy lyrics, but it was actually inspired by Debbie Harry's real-life experience with an ex-boyfriend.
The rock band was already on the rise to fame thanks to their previously released track "Heart of Glass," with "One Way or Another" released as a follow-up single in 1979. It was also released as part of their album Parallel Lines, with the track having reached No. 24 on theBillboard Hot 100 chart.
Harry's icy disdain starts the track before reaching its classic "get ya, get ya, get ya, get ya" hook. The lyrics for "One Way or Another" were written by Harry and bassist Nigel Harrison, who would join the band after the release of Plastic Letters. Behind its inspiration was Harry's experience with an ex-boyfriend who became her stalker in 1973. He worked all day in a chemical plant and drank all night, which led him to appear outside her door and call her hour after hour.
"I was actually stalked by a nutjob so it came out of a not-so-friendly personal event. But I tried to inject a little bit of levity into it to make it more lighthearted. I think in a way that's a normal kind of survival mechanism. You know, just shake it off, say one way or another, and get on with your life. Everyone can relate to that and I think that's the beauty of it," she explained to Entertainment Weekly.
As a result of the stalking, Harry ended up moving out of New Jersey. At the time, Harry was a member of The Stilletos, and her former bandmate, Elda Gentile, remembers the experience was "freaking us all out, especially Chris [Stein]."
According to LouderSound, "One Way or Another" was never intended to portray its protagonist as a victim. As guitarist and lead songwriter Chris Stein explained, "The girl in that song is certainly not a victim. The protagonist is a self-empowered figure."
Harrison came up with the idea and title for the song during band rehearsal. His idea would move the track and band in a more psych-rock direction.
“My original music for ‘One Way or Another’ was this psychedelic, Ventures-like futuristic surf song gone wrong. Jimmy [former Blondie keyboardist Jimmy Destri] really liked this piece of music, and we would play it while on the road. Then Debbie picked up on it. She came up with the ‘getcha getcha getchas.’ The ending, where it gets crazy, was Chapman’s [producer Mike Chapman] idea," he said, according to American Songwriter.
Despite help from both producer Mike Chapman and Harrison behind the album, Stein didn't believe the track would be a hit as a single. He claims, "You're never 100 per cent sure." To everyone's surprise, the track became a signature hit that took them from playing across clubs in New York to performing at sold-out arenas around the world. "One Way or Another" and "Heart of Glass" pushed Blondie into the mainstream spotlight.
Critics praised the track's "gritty fuzz guitar" and playful aggressiveness that "moves in machine gun fashion as Debbie Harry's vocal sounds almost demonic." The song would gain a resurgence decades later when it was covered by One Direction in 2013 and led "One Way or Another" to enter the UK charts for the first time since its release.

'Little Singles': Krista Confronts Steph for Calling Her the B-Word (Exclusive Clip)
Little Singles star Krista confronted Stephanie about overhearing her calling her the B-word during a heated discussion about their love triangle with Sammy.
Ahead of the July 20 episode of the new series, TLC shared an exclusive sneak peek of the two women finally clearing the air.
The group of friends—including John, 28, Sammy, 26, Stephanie, 32, JJ, 37, and Krista, 30—met at a little people convention years ago and have remained close. They are on a vacation together in Palm Springs, Fla. But before the trip, Sammy and Steph had a secret fling going on. Sammy, however, has been constantly flirting with Krista at their vacation house, while still making out with Steph.
"Can you just tell me your feelings again without alcohol being involved?" Krista asked during a chat with Steph while sitting on a bed. "So I can understand, like, your true feelings on it. Because I feel like I got blown up on, and I really hope that what you said to me wasn't how you really felt."
To that, Steph admitted, "I mean, I think I was just taken aback by you calling me out for crying. I think that was pretty unnecessary. I opened up to a situation that I wasn't even ready to share."
She continued, "Obviously, I've been emotional. And it's something I've been dealing with and processing for seven months. And it's so much bigger that, you know, what's going on in this house right now."
Additionally, Steph apologized for "blowing up" on Krista "in the heat of the moment." She confessed, "I can't even remember exactly what I said. You didn't deserve that. I will fully own that, and I'm sorry."
'Little Singles': Krista Confronts Steph for Calling Her the B-Word (Exclusive Clip) (1:56)That's when Krista revealed, "I overheard you and JJ talking, and you called me a b---h over that?"
Steph explained, "It's difficult processing something and then having other people's input on it who have nothing to do with the situation that's at hand, in the sense of, like, what's going on with me and Sammy. So I'm just vulnerable."
She reiterated, "And I am really sorry because you were just dragged into something that you had no clue about."
In response, Krista asked if it bothered Steph that Sammy "is telling me that he doesn't have feelings for you, and that there's not gonna ever be anything between the two of you—but then he's making out with you?"
Steph confirmed, "Yes, it is very upsetting," before the clip ended.
To see what happened leading up to this discussion and how it ended, tune in to the July 20 episode. Catch new episodes of Little Singles on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC and streaming the next day on HBO Max.

Jessie J Says Split Has Been ‘Sad and Difficult’ View this post on InstagramThe "Price Tag" singer said she and Colman had been handling the breakup privately before deciding to share the news publicly.
“Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago; it has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co-parenting environment for our son and ourselves,” Jessie wrote.
She added that she wanted fans to hear the news directly from her.
“Unfortunately, being in the public eye, this is the easiest way to let people know the truth, before rumors circulate or a false narrative is written,” she continued.
Jessie J and Chanan Colman Focus on Co-Parenting Son Sky View this post on InstagramJessie made it clear that while her relationship with Colman has changed, their commitment to raising Sky together has not. “We will always continue supporting each other with love, respect and care as friends and most importantly being Sky’s mum and Dad,” she wrote. "So if you see us out and about together as a family every now and again. That’s exactly what we’re doing.”
“Raising and loving Sky together, supported with a positive friendship,” Jessie added. The "Do It Like a Dude" singer and the former basketball player were first linked in 2021 after reportedly meeting on Raya. They welcomed their son, Sky, in May 2023.
Split Comes After Jessie J’s Cancer-Free Update View this post on InstagramThe breakup news comes two months after Jessie shared that she was cancer-free following her breast cancer battle.

She was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in June 2025 and underwent surgery later that month.
The Surprising Reason Princess Diana Reportedly Sold Her Clothes for Cash at Local Thrift Shops
Princess Diana was famous for redefining what it meant to be a member of the royal family. But one of her most clever moves happened completely under the radar.
Rather than relying on official palace funds for every outing, Diana reportedly found a way to earn her own cash on the side. By quietly selling her clothes at local thrift shops, she secured a secret financial freedom outside of the House of Windsor.
Typically, royal family members do not receive a traditional salary. Instead, they are funded for their official duties through a mix of public funds and private estates, supplemented by inherited wealth. According to the royal family's official website, members receive funds through the Sovereign Grant (taxpayer-funded, used to support the monarchy's official duties), and inherited wealth via land holdings.
Therefore, for Diana to have her own pocket money was an aspect of royal life that appeared to be off the table. That was until she became creative enough to find a way to get around that royal rule.

According to Diana's former personal butler Paul Burrell, author of the book A Royal Duty, the late Princess of Wales realized that if she sold some of her designer clothing at "thrift" stores, she would be compensated.
Marie Claire quoted elements of Burrell's book. He explained why she needed to have available cash on hand without going through the royal household.
"Some dresses were never destined for auctions or museums," Burrell explained. Some of Diana's designer clothing items were taken to thrift stores in "London's Knightsbridge or Chelsea, where they would be handed over in exchange for cash when sold."
The idea was to "raise spending money for her because royals rarely carry hard currency." Burrell added, "By generating cash, she could spend it as she wished without a trace, and take [sons] Prince William and Prince Harry to the cinema or to McDonald's," Burrell explained.
The fast-food chain was a particular favorite of the young royals. According to PEOPLE Magazine, royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that Diana's boys were just like any other children when it came to their love for the golden arches.
"One lunchtime, I was getting lunch ready and the Princess came in and said, 'Cancel lunch today. I’m taking them out,' " McGrady explained. "I asked, 'Where are you going?' and she said, 'McDonald’s.'"
The royal chef added, "I said, 'I can do burgers better than McDonald’s,' and she said, 'I know that, Darren, but they want the toys in the Happy Meal.' They would get fast food sometimes, just like normal families with children," McGrady concluded.
Princess Diana remains a beloved royal family member, 29 years after her death. Today, her sons, William and Harry, have a combined five children and are married to Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
'90s Star, Who Quietly Helped Launch Some of Disney's Biggest Stars, Turns 57
Wanna feel old? Just Google the age of your favorite '90s artist.
Colleen Fitzpatrick, the fiery redhead better known by the moniker Vitamin C, released a pair of mega-hits in 1999 that are still just as recognizable today as they were back when we thought Y2K would be the end of the world.
She turns 57 on July 20.
If the name strikes a chord but you can't remember her biggest songs, they were "Smile," released as the first single from her self-titled solo album, followed by the even bigger hit "Graduation (Friends Forever)," the album's third single and still an almost obligatory staple at graduation ceremonies around the country — if it weren't for Green Day.
But her music career took a wild turn in the 2000s. What many may not know is how influential she was in launching a trio of chart-topping pop singers from their Disney roots to mainstream icons.

Vitamin C Became a Successful Songwriter for Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena GomezCircling back to the early 2000s after a gap from her meteoric rise, Fitzpatrick didn't find the same level of commercial success on her next album, More.
Ultimately, she decided to get out of the limelight and into songwriting, contributing to the blockbuster children's show Hannah Montana, which of course, eventually launchedMiley Cyrus into another stratosphere of fame.
Fitzpatrick co-wrote “Let’s Get Crazy” for Hannah Montana: The Movie. While it wasn't one of the defining songs to come from the show or film, don't tell that to the practically religious following of fans who can belt out every lyric.
In 2009, Fitzpatrick also lent her pen to the duet "One and the Same", recorded by both Demi Lovato andSelena Gomez for the film Princess Protection Program, before they were the powerhouse superstars they are now.

Per Variety, Vitamin C has largely put her pen and microphone down as she has swapped the big stage for boardrooms in more recent years, serving various executive positions at both Nickelodeon and Netflix.
Nearly Century-Old Brand Unveils Magical Disney Holiday Collaboration
It may only be July, but Hallmark is already giving Disney fans a reason to start counting down to Christmas.
Ahead of the November premiere of its upcoming Hallmark Channel original movie, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, Hallmark has quietly unveiled a first look at an exclusive holiday collection inspired by the film. It includes everything from Keepsake Ornaments to home décor, greeting cards and festive gifts.
The collection won't officially launch until October, but you can now preview many of the products online, offering an early glimpse at one of this year's most anticipated Disney holiday collaborations.
Among the standout items are a Holiday Ever AfterMickey Mouse Keepsake Ornament, featuring Mickey bundled up in a winter scarf with colorful balloons, as well as coordinating greeting cards inspired by the movie's whimsical artwork. The collection also includes Disney-themed wrapping paper, gift bags, mugs, blankets, pillows and festive home décor designed to bring a little Walt Disney World magic to the holidays.
Fans can also expect collectible gifts celebrating the film itself, which stars Hallmark favorite Lacey Chabert alongside Travis Van Winkle.
Set at Walt Disney World Resort, the movie follows a woman whose Christmas wish for true love appears to come true after an unexpected encounter at the Most Magical Place on Earth. It premieres during Hallmark's annual Countdown to Christmas programming block in November and will stream on Hallmark+ the following day.
The merchandise marks a rare collaboration between Hallmark and Disney that extends beyond the screen. Rather than simply releasing tie-in ornaments, the brands have created an entire lifestyle collection that blends Hallmark's holiday traditions with Disney-inspired artwork and storytelling.
According to Hallmark, the partnership celebrates the companies' nearly century-long relationship while bringing the movie to life through keepsakes fans can enjoy long after the credits roll.

Will Ferrell’s No. 1 Sports Comedy Was Made More Authentic Thanks to Olympic Figure Skating Stars
Not every Will Ferrellmovie has been an instant classic, but some only get better with age. Blades of Glory, his cult-favorite team-up with Napoleon Dynamite's Jon Heder, is arguably even more quotable today than when it first hit the big screen.
More than doubling its production budget upon release, grossing about $145 million worldwide, and opening at No. 1 in the U.S. box office, the idea of putting two of the 2000s' leading funnymen on skates was already comedy gold before anyone even reached into their popcorn bucket.
But how did they pull it off? Was it simply movie magic, or did some of the sport's biggest names help make the over-the-top routines look authentic?
Skating icons helped sell the illusion(Photo by John Stanton/WireImage
Making two comedy stars look like elite figure skaters required far more than Hollywood tricks.
Behind the scenes, the production assembled an elite team of skating experts, including Tiffany Scott, Judy Blumberg, Lisa-Marie Allen, and perhaps skating's top household name, Michelle Kwan's former coach, Sarah Kawahara — not to mention cameos from Olympic medalists Sasha Cohen and Scott Hamilton.
Asked if he had ever skated before, Ferrell said, "No, not at all, other than a birthday party in third grade... Other than bad kind of holding-on-to-the-side-rails ice skating, I really couldn't skate."
The presence of accomplished athletes may seem like the most influential to the cast, but Ferrell said it was actually Kawahara, recalling "she's like the big-time skating choreographer, to the point where some of the other coaches who were former pros, you could actually see them get nervous around her. She does all the 'Disney on Ice,' everything."
'We're not doing the movie': on-set injury convinced Ferrell the movie was overHeder halted production due to an unexpected ankle injury while performing one of his tricks, which he thought he had mastered with the help of his Olympic-led team.
He detailed, "I was going for a spin, and my blade dug a little too deep into the ice... my body kept spinning but my foot didn't... the doctor said, 'Nah, it's broken.'"
Training and film production were forced to come to a screeching halt for months.
Years after the film's release, Ferrell reflected when "Jon Heder had a hairline fracture in his ankle, and then it was like, 'Okay I guess we're not doing the movie.'"
Blades of Glory went on to earn $145 million worldwide. You can currently stream it on Pluto TV for free.

Trump Shares First Photo of JD Vance's Newborn Son Alec, Sparking Controversy
Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance welcomed their fourth child, a son named Alec Neel Vance, on Sunday, July 19. And while the proud new parents haven’t shared photos of their new baby, it looks like the President has already taken it upon himself to make the big reveal.
Usually, the parents are the first people to give friends, family, and, in the case of a public figure, fans, a glimpse at their newborn. But in this case, the father’s boss posted the first pic.
The VP and SLOTUS shared a photo-free statement on social media on Sunday, writing, “We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”
The Vances also gave a hearty shout-out to their medical team, adding, “The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing. We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family.”
View this post on InstagramNice statement, no picture. Right? While we patiently wait for a photo of newborn Alec, Trump decided to take matters into his own hands. On Monday morning, the President posted a sweet snapshot of Alec with big brother, six-year-old Vivek, and big sister, four-year-old Mirabel. The Vances also have a nine-year-old son, Ewan, who was not pictured.
The absolutely adorable first look at the newest Vance features a smiling Mirabel gazing lovingly at her baby brother (in Vivek’s arms). If you want to see the image, you’ll have to visit the President’s page on Truth Social.
How did the public react to Donald Trump sharing the first photo of JD Vance’s baby?Cue the controversy. It didn’t take long for the critics to come out. After news of the first photo broke, the backlash began on social media.
On one Reddit thread, commenters wrote, “Well, how else was he supposed to make it about himself?” and “Because of course he did.”
Others added, “I’m surprised he didn’t photoshop his face on the baby,” and “The odd part is that Trump got to do the first photo reveal instead of the parents. Most new parents want some control over who sees their kid first, and having a political figure handle it feels transactional, like the baby is a prop for some kind of branding moment.”
As of now, there’s no word on whether Vance or his wife knew that the President would post this obviously intimate family photo.

Stephen Root Explains 'King of the Hill' Revival's Risky Change and Teases 'Widow's Bay' Season 2 (Exclusive)
Stephen Root has been a pop culture journeyman, having spent over 35 years playing a myriad of well-known roles across TV and film, including Office Space, NewsRadio and Barry. And 2026 has brought us two of his most well-regarded.
Almost 30 years ago, Root began lending his voice to sadsack loner Bill Dauterive on the hit animated series King of the Hill. Over 13 seasons, he brought the depressed neighbor of Hank Hill to life, serving as a pivotal part of the Arlen ensemble. Last year, Mike Judge and Greg Daniels chose to give King of the Hill a new life on streaming, debuting a revival that had us checking in with the Hill family in the 2020s. And Root reveals, despite having not touched the character of Bill for over a decade, revisiting him seemed to be a matter of not if, but when.

"I think in the back of every cast member's mind of this show, that we would at least come back and maybe do a movie of some sort or some kind of revival that would be short-term," he tells Parade in an exclusive interview for the newest season of King of the Hill, which drops today on Hulu. "But the fact that we actually got picked up for a couple of seasons was a real shock and a wonder."
"You've got to give credit to Mike and Greg for revolutionizing basically the animation of aging characters," he continues. "It's insane; it hadn't been done. It's being done now beautifully, making these people more and more human to be able to live in a world that's kind of hard to live in right now. They have to come to terms with their past and what's going on in the future. And so I give Greg and Mike all kudos for trying this experiment that I think is turning out pretty well."
At the same time, in live-action form, Root is part of another experimental series that is "turning out pretty well," to say the least. Widow's Bay is one of the most talked-about shows of 2026 so far, an Apple TV horror comedy centered on a New England town mired in supernatural occurrences. The 75-year-old plays Wyck Crawford, the most devout believer in the "curse" that surrounds the titular town, much to the chagrin of the mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys).

As creepy as Widow's Bay was in its first ten episodes, it's earned nothing but cheers from viewers and critics alike. Its combination of frights and foibles has made it a bona fide hit, earning a Season 2 renewal before the initial batch of episodes finished airing. Two weeks ago, the show earned a whopping 19 Emmy nominations, including one for Root in Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (his second overall).
"The fact that we got so much love from the academy and our peers for this show was overwhelming," Root says about the commendations. "It really was. You never know when you're doing a show if it's going to resonate with people. But even when we were shooting the first couple of scripts, it was like, 'This is so well written. It's perfectly cast. Oh my goodness!'
"Some of the greatest character actors around are playing roles in this. And they're not sometimes huge roles, but they're perfect. And the fact that we got so many good actors to come play with was astonishing. So I was pretty much overwhelmed. It was really nice to be recognized by your peers a second time for a nomination. But I would have been more than wonderfully happy if the show itself got picked up because this is truly an ensemble show."
As much as Root could go on about his happiness working on Widow's Bay, when asked about what he knew for Season 2, he admitted he had no idea, wishing he had the power of telepathy to look into creator Katie Dippold's brain. But that doesn't stop him from putting forward some theories as to he thinks — and hopes — we'll see.
"I think if I were to guess that we're going to see a lot more of Kingston and his character in the show," he says. "I think we're going to discover more about exactly why the island, which is a character on the show, came to be. There are so many backstories that could happen. I'm hoping that Wyck will have a little more backstory with his teenage paramour in this season. Because it was thwarted in this season, so maybe next season we'll be able to get together a little more."

FDA Issues Apology To Taylor Farms After Claiming Company Was Linked To Cyclospora Outbreak
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has released an apology to Taylor Farms for claiming that the company was linked to the Cyclospora outbreak.
The FDA double-checked test samples on lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico, which resulted in a false positive on Saturday, July 18.
“"Due to the complexity in detection of Cyclospora, FDA laboratory experts re-reviewed the sample results and have concluded that the finding does not represent true amplification and should be considered a false positive," the FDA said, per CBS News.
They added that as of Sunday, they had not found any "confirmed positive sample results for product testing for Cyclospora."
As a result of the false positive, the FDA apologized to Taylor Farms.
""Today, FDA apologized to us," Taylor Fresh Foods, the parent company of Taylor Farms, told Newsweek in a statement. "Yesterday, FDA informed Taylor Fresh Foods that one of its iceberg lettuce products from central Mexico tested positive for cyclospora. Today, we were informed that FDA made a mistake, and this was a false positive. To be clear, at this moment, FDA has not identified a single positive product test result for Cyclospora."
However, Taylor Farms still said it was "voluntarily removing" iceberg lettuce that was sourced from Mexico due to the outbreak.
"While the FDA traceback is indicating a specific independent farm, which represents less than 1% of the U.S.'s iceberg lettuce supply, as the potential source of the outbreak, we have removed all iceberg lettuce from the region indefinitely," the company said Friday in a statement.
Cyclospora is a parasite that results when people eat or drink food or water that is contaminated. The FDA says it's "unlikely to be transmitted directly from person to person because the Cyclospora parasite needs time (days to weeks) after being passed in feces to become infectious."
Sami Sheen Fires Back at Claims Charlie Sheen Funds Her Lifestyle: 'He Hasn’t Given Me a Dime'
Sami Sheen is setting the record straight about who pays for her lifestyle. The 22-year-old model and content creator pushed back against claims that her father, actor Charlie Sheen, financially supports her, saying she has been completely independent for years.
In a TikTok video, Sami said Charlie “hasn’t given me a dime in over four years” and revealed she has supported herself since turning 18. She also claimed her father recently paid for a costly gift for her younger sister, Lola Sheen, while declining a similar request from her. The comments come years after Charlie publicly said he did not support Sami’s decision to join OnlyFans, a career move that sparked a public disagreement between him and ex-wife Denise Richards.
"Look, if I had Daddy’s money, I would own it, OK? I would let you guys know," Sami said in her TikTok, adding, "These comments make me so frustrated because this man hasn’t given me a dime in over four years."
When it came to the expensive car Charlie bought for her 21-year-old sister, Sami wondered, "So I asked if he [could] buy me a horse for the same price, and that was the last time we spoke, and that was a couple [of] weeks ago," she said.

Instead, she said her OnlyFans account was the financial driver behind the purchase, urging followers to "go subscribe."
When Sami launched her OnlyFans account in 2022, Charlie publicly said he did not support the decision, while Denise not only defended her daughter’s choice but later started her own account. Sami has made a reported $3 million since creating the account.

'I'm a Dermatologist—This Is the Exfoliation Trick I Swear By'
If the word "exfoliation" triggers bad memories of the harsh facial scrubs you once used as a teenager, you're not alone.
Exfoliation is an important part of any well-balanced skincare routine since it clears away dry, dead cells and makes room for your skin to shine. Still, many of us are intimidated by the process. We always have a dermatologist on speed dial here at Parade, so we reached out to Dr. Whitney Tolpinrud, MD, FAAD, to learn more about a genius facial exfoliation trick we wish we'd known about sooner.
Tolpinrud is a board-certified dermatologist who works as the medical director at Curology. While working with patients, she's see the good, the bad and everything in between, and she's developed a few tips for exfoliating effectively.
Knowing which method of exfoliation—chemical or physical—is best for your skin type is typically the first step in mastering your exfoliation routine. Tolpinrud breaks down the difference between the two techniques for us and explains how often you should be exfoliating your face.
Since exfoliation can irritate the skin when it's not done properly, the expert also shares tips on common facial exfoliation mistakes to avoid.

'I'm a Dermatologist—This Is the Facial Exfoliation Trick I Swear By'Sometimes, exfoliation can be a scary word if you have sensitive skin. But fret not! Tolpinrud says there's a safe way to exfoliate without making your skin rebel, and it's called the "short contact" technique.
"This involves applying a chemical exfoliant, leaving it on for five to 10 minutes, then rinsing it off rather than leaving it on overnight," she tells Parade.
Some chemical exfoliants can be left on overnight, so it's always best to consult with a dermatologist if your skin is reactive. But in general, Tolpinrud says this method is best if your skin is easily irritated.
"Short contact application can provide some of the benefits of exfoliation while limiting exposure time, which may help reduce the risk of irritation," she explains.
Physical vs. Chemical Exfoliation: What's the Difference? If you're into skincare, you've likely heard that there's a difference between chemical and mineral sunscreens. Similarly, there are physical and chemical methods of exfoliation, and they both get the job done in slightly different ways.
Physical exfoliation"Physical exfoliation removes dead skin cells through manual action, such as facial scrubs, cleansing brushes or professional treatments like microdermabrasion. One benefit is that results are often immediate, with skin feeling smoother and looking brighter after treatment," Tolpinrud says. "Professional procedures such as microdermabrasion may also help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and discoloration."
One thing to note? If you have sensitive skin or perform physical exfoliation too aggressively or too frequently, it can irritate skin.
Chemical exfoliationChemical exfoliation, on the other hand, uses ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) or enzymes to loosen and remove dead skin cells.
"These ingredients generally provide a more even exfoliation than scrubs and can help improve concerns such as acne, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation and signs of sun damage," Tolpinrud says.
As always, it's important to consult a dermatologist beforehand to make sure your skin can tolerate chemical exfoliation.

How Often Should You Exfoliate Your Face? There are three main factors to consider when determining how often you should exfoliate your face: your skin type, the products you're using and your skin's tolerance.
"For many people, exfoliating one to three times per week is a reasonable starting point," Tolpinrud says.
If you're using an at-home chemical exfoliant, especially products containing lower concentrations of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), she suggests exfoliating once or twice a week to start then "increase gradually if the skin tolerates it well."
"People with sensitive skin may benefit from exfoliating less frequently—more isn't always better," Tolpinrud says. "Over-exfoliation can lead to redness, dryness, irritation and a weakened skin barrier. Some research has also linked overly aggressive exfoliation habits with worsening rosacea symptoms in susceptible individuals."

How To Exfoliate Without Irritating Your SkinBefore you start experimenting with different exfoliants, Tolpinrud says you should start with gentler options then gradually introduce ingredients.
"Lower concentrations of alpha hydroxy acids, for example, can help remove dead surface skin cells while being less disruptive to the skin barrier," she tells Parade. "For people who find traditional acids irritating, enzyme-based exfoliants may be a good alternative. These products can help improve skin texture and brightness while often causing less stinging or burning."
Steering clear of aggressive scrubbing techniques is another way to avoid potential irritation.
"Vigorous physical exfoliation can irritate the skin and compromise the skin barrier over time," Tolpinrud says.
Overall, if you experience redness, burning or persistent irritation, it's typically a sign that you should reduce the frequency of exfoliation or switch to a gentler approach.

5 Common Facial Exfoliation Mistakes To AvoidWhile building an exfoliation routine, it helps to have a go-to guide of some common mistakes to avoid any skincare mishaps. Below, Tolpinrud shares some of the biggest mistakes she sees clients making.
1. Over-exfoliatingThe derm says many people make the mistake of exfoliating too often.
"While exfoliation can improve skin texture and brightness, excessive exfoliation may damage the skin barrier, leading to redness, dryness, irritation and increased sensitivity," she warns.
2. Using products that are too strongStronger acids are not always more effective.
"Using potent exfoliants without proper guidance can increase the risk of irritation, peeling and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, particularly in sensitive skin or darker skin tones," Tolpinrud says.
3. Combining multiple exfoliation methods at onceYour complexion can easily get confused if you throw too much at it at once.
"Pairing a physical exfoliant with a chemical exfoliant, such as scrubbing the skin and then applying an AHA, can compound irritation and barrier disruption," the derm says. "Although certain combination approaches may be appropriate under professional guidance, using multiple exfoliation methods together at home can contribute to excessive irritation, redness and over-exfoliation."
4. Skipping sunscreenSun protection is a critical part of any skincare routine, but it becomes even more critical while exfoliating.
"Exfoliation removes dead surface skin cells and can leave skin more vulnerable to UV damage. Daily broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher helps protect against sunburn, hyperpigmentation and premature skin aging," Tolpinrud explains.
5. Exfoliating irritated or inflamed skinIt's best to give your skin a break if you're already dealing with a rosacea flareup, eczema, dermatitis or another form of inflammation or irritation.
"Exfoliation may worsen inflammation and delay healing. In these situations, it can be helpful to first focus on barrier repair and allow the skin to recover before resuming exfoliation," Tolpinrud says.

1968 Rock Song, Lasting Nearly 18 Minutes, Remains a Classic 58 Years Later
After over 50 years, one song from legendary rock band the Velvet Underground is still just as influential as when it first came out in 1968.
The track is "Sister Ray," a sprawling song that was recorded in one take and comes in at almost 18 minutes long. The song was released on the band's second studio album, White Light/White Heat. The lyrics were written by frontman and guitarist Lou Reed.
"Sister Ray" tells a complex story with several interesting characters featuring debauchery and chaos. In The Velvet Underground Companion: Four Decades of Commentary, Reed claimed that the song was “done as a joke." He then clarified, "No, not as a joke, but it has eight characters in it, and this guy gets killed, and nobody does anything."
The song has black humor and doesn't hold back in any way. Along with the long runtime, the lyrics also pushed the boundaries of what was accepted back then.
While the official recording of "Sister Ray" was just under 18 minutes long, the song's length varied when the Velvet Underground played it live. The live album Bootleg Series Volume 1: The Quine Tapes, released in 2001, includes three different performances of the track. The runtimes were around 24, 29, and 38 minutes.
The Velvet Underground clearly enjoyed performing "Sister Ray," and they often closed out live shows with the crowdpleaser.

Other legendary rock bands have played memorable covers of the song as well, including Joy Division and its successor band New Order in the 1980s. Songwriter and guitarist Jonathan Richman included an homage to the song in his track "Velvet Underground."
While "Sister Ray" and the album White Light/White Heat didn't have as much commercial success immediately after their release as other Velvet Underground albums, their influence on punk rock became clear in the decades that followed.
Over half a century later, the album has been included on many lists of the "greatest albums of all time." As for "Sister Ray," the song remains a significant moment in rock history and a favorite for music fans all over.

Why Craig Melvin Is Missing From ‘Today’ After Last Week’s On-Air Security Incident
Today anchor Craig Melvinis taking a short break from the show.
Melvin, 47, who chased down a studio intruder last week, is taking some time with his family, Savannah Guthrie announced on Monday morning, PEOPLE reported. Sheinelle Jones subbed in for Melvin alongside Guthrie on the anchor desk.
“We’ve got Sheinelle in for Craig, who’s getting a little family vacation,” Guthrie said on air.
Guthrie's announcement marked her first return to the Today studio since last week's incident.
Melvin Chased Down a Studio IntruderOn Thursday morning, a man who was later identified by PEOPLE as Andrew Truelove made his way past security and approached Melvin, yelling a racial slur at him. Melvin quickly alerted security, and Truelove was arrested by the police, NBC News stated.
PEOPLE later reported that Truelove was charged with two felonies: burglary in the third degree as a hate crime, and menacing in the third degree as a hate crime, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office shared. Melvin and Al Roker were granted a temporary order of protection against him.

Melvin Spoke Out After The IncidentOn Thursday evening, Melvin spoke out, reflecting on the incident that occurred at NBC’s headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza earlier that morning. In a photo-free post that was just text written on a black background, Melvin made it clear that he was doing well and would be back in his seat at the studio on Friday.
“Hey everyone. I’ve heard from so many of you over the last few hours. I’m doing just fine. Thanks for reaching out. I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow morning on @todayshow,” Melvin captioned the post, which also featured a statement from NBC News.
View this post on InstagramOn Friday morning’s Today, Melvin spoke candidly about the incident, ensuring everyone is “safe and sound.”
“You may have heard that unfortunately, an intruder made his way into an unauthorized area here in Studio 1A. Thankfully, he was apprehended quickly,” Melvin shared. “He was placed under arrest. We are cooperating fully with the NYPD as they investigate the matter, and we are just very happy that everyone is safe.”
What Did The Statement From NBC Say?A prepared statement from NBC claimed there was no altercation between Truelove and Melvin.
“There was a security incident this morning at the TODAY show studio. An individual entered an unauthorized area in a vestibule near Studio 1A. The person approached anchor Craig Melvin, who alerted security. The individual was detained and taken into custody by law enforcement without further incident. There was no altercation, and no one was injured,” the statement read. “TODAY is cooperating fully with law enforcement as they investigate the matter. NBC and TODAY take the safety and security of our employees, talent, staff, and guests extremely seriously. We are reviewing the incident and our security protocols and remain committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone who works at and visits our studios.”
