Jessie Buckley Picks Dream '80s Rock Band to Collaborate With on a Musical
Next month's shoo-in for the Best Actress Oscar, Jessie Buckley of Hamnet, has grand plans for her next movie musical... if she ever gets the chance to do another one, that is. Longtime fans of the County Kerry-born superstar will recall her 2018 drama Wild Rose being a fine example of the all-singing, all-dancing genre, and it even landed Buckley a BAFTA nomination. Yet she's clearly thirsty for more.
In conversation with Deadline, she pointed towards her musicality as a way of helping to peel off her characters' skin once she's finished a job. That's when she can revive her love of song, which initially catapulted Buckley into the public consciousness when competing in the BBC reality show I'd Do Anything in 2008.
Buckley, who will soon appear as the Bride of Frankenstein in Maggie Gyllenhaal's sophomore directorial outing,The Bride!, opposite Christian Bale, told the publication that she one day wishes to "marry" her side passion with her Hollywood career. "It would be such a nice thing to have done in my life. I'd love to do a new musical. I think about the sound of London. And get Radiohead to do the music. But they're far too cool," she shared.
Ambitious, maybe, but this dream of hers isn't one of the pipe variety. That's due to the British rock band's casual association with big-screen soundtracks; guitarist Jonny Greenwood is a regular collaborator with director Paul Thomas Anderson - their latest team-up took the form of One Battle After Another - and vocalist Thom Yorke, the man who scored the recent Suspiria remake from Luca Guadagnino. Together with their bandmates, who formed Radiohead in 1985, they even contributed unused music to Daniel Craig's penultimate James Bond flick, Spectre.
Taking its title from the secret agent spectacle itself, 'Spectre' was Radiohead's second attempt to get their sound into a Bond-buster, having had their '90s track "Man of War" rejected by the movie's makers as it wouldn't have been eligible for that year's Best Original Song category at the Oscars. Ultimately, Spectre's title sequence was soundtracked by Sam Smith's "Writing's on the Wall."

Science Says This ’70s Rock Hit Is the Catchiest Song of All Time
Science is definitely more than lab coats and Bunsen burners. It’s also a dictator on the best music of our generation.
According to MediaFeed, an independent digital media platform run by journalists and content strategists, researchers at the University of St. Andrews' School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies developed a formula for figuring out how and why earworms are a thing.
Based on five factors -- “how catchy the melody is, how predictable yet surprising it is, the rhythm, and how much you like it," per the outlet -- the formula is as follows. “Receptiveness + (predictability - surprise) + (melodic potency) + (rhythmic repetition x 1.5) = earworm.”
Applying the formula, the smarty-pants group compiled a list of 20 songs that we just can’t get out of our heads. Topping the list? A Queen classic.
Released in 1977, “We Will Rock You,” off the band's News of the World album, is the official "catchiest song of all time." Written by the band's guitarist, Brian May, it was composed with the intention of creating an interactive, stadium-ready anthem featuring a stomp-stomp-clap rhythm that allowed the audience to actively participate, May shared on Facebook.
Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” makes the list, too. Claiming the No. 6 spot, the 1975 headbanger off the band’s A Night at the Opera album might just be the most Queen-associated tune in the icons’ discography.
Sharing the origin story of the rock song in a 1984 interview, Mercury said, “I basically was writing three songs, and they were going to be different. I just couldn’t finish them, and I just thought, Oh, dammit, I’ll just put the three together.”
In a career-defining performance, Queen performed at the 1985 Live Aid concert, whose purpose was to raise awareness and funds for the famine crisis in Ethiopia. Per CNN, the now-iconic performance is “often lauded as the greatest live gig of all time.”
Stretching across 21 minutes, Mercury and his guys seamlessly strung together a six-song medley of their greatest hits, sending the 72,000 fans packed into London’s Wembley Stadium into fits of euphoria.
View this post on InstagramThe performance was re-created beat for beat in the Oscar-winning film Bohemian Rhapsody, starring Rami Malek, who took home a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Mercury. The film even received high praise from Queen's May.
“I’m happy with the film we made about Freddie, for now,” he said, per the The Daily Mail.. “I don’t need any more than that. I feel very proud that we did it for Freddie, not for us, it made it right for us, it was the right thing for us.”

Rock the Country Performer Received Death Threats Allegedly Tied to Festival Backlash
Tanner Usrey received a death threat allegedly tied to his participation in the Rock the Country Music Festival.
In early February, Baptiste Brafford of Sheridan, Wyoming was arrested and charged with sending death threats to the country singer over Facebook.
According to local outlet Sheridan Press, Brafford was charged with sending threatening messages to Usrey ahead of his show in Rapid City, South Dakota on Feb. 6. Usrey's show ultimately went on as planned.
In the messages, Brafford insinuated Usrey could suffer a similar fate as slain political influencer Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in September.
"Don't come to Rapid City, you could end up 'Charlie Kirk' spreading that same hate. It be an arrow though," one message reads.
"Hey a 30-06 (thirty-ought-six) would blow your head off. That's what killed Charlie Queen yet didn't blow his head off. You think it was an 06 (ought-six) but any good ole boy knows that was a .223 at best," the message continued.

Screenshots of the threats were sent to the Sheridan Police Department, who spoke to Usrey. When asked by police if he felt the threat was real, the singer said he didn't know, saying "people are crazy."
Law enforcement then found Brafford at his home, where he admitted to sending the messages and said he was "drunk" when he wrote them. He also claimed to have deleted the threats sometime after sending them a month prior.
Brafford was arrested on Feb. 4 and charged with misdemeanor telephonic threats. He pled not guilty to the charge and was released from the Sheridan County Detention Center after meeting a $5,000 cash-only bond.

Usrey, for his part, acknowledged the death threat on his X account on Jan. 12—hinting it was related to his upcoming participation in the Rock the Country Music Festival. The festival's lineup was announced the very same day.
"Getting death threats for being on a festival lineup is fucking CRAZY…" Usrey wrote at the time.
The festival, which has seen four performers drop out since the lineup was announced, has been dubbed a “MAGA fest” online, as headliners like Kid Rock and Jason Aldean are vocal supporters of PresidentDonald Trump.
In a statement to Parade on Feb. 9, Rock the Country said the festival "was created to unite people together through music. Our lineups and our crowds reflect that sentiment—a wide range of voices, backgrounds, and stories that make up this country."
"Our focus remains where it’s always been: Supporting our artists, honoring our fans, and delivering unforgettable nights throughout the country," the statement continued. "The shows ahead represent the heart of what Rock the Country stands for: music, community, and pride in where we come from. Loving America isn’t political; it’s who we are."
Demi Engemann Files Motion to Dismiss Defamation Lawsuit from Marciano Brunette
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Demi Engemann, has filed a motion to dismiss Marciano Brunette's defamation lawsuit against her.
Brunette filed a defamation lawsuit against Engemann in Dec. 2025, alleging that she used her platform as a reality tv star to falsely accuse him of sexual misconduct. Brunette also named Jeff Jenkins Production, the production company behind The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, in his lawsuit. He claims that the production company knew Engemann's allegations were false but chose to air them anyway.

Per legal documents obtained by People, Engemann filed a motion to dismiss Brunette's lawsuit on Tuesday, Feb. 17 under Utah's Uniform Public Expression Protection Act.
Engemann's legal team argues that her decision to speak out about Brunette's alleged sexual misconduct was protected under her First Amendment Rights. Furthermore, her team argues that the allegations are a "matter of public interest."
In the filing, Engemann's legal team refers to Brunette's lawsuit as, "a lesson in hypocrisy," and claims that he, "has gone to great lengths to tell the world about his sexual prowess, even bragging to a national television audience that a former employer had to implement a special policy to keep him from preying on female co-workers."
The filing also cites the performer agreement that was signed by Brunette for his appearance on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
The performer agreement states that information,"of a personal, private, surprising, embarrassing and/or unfavorable nature," may be aired. The agreement also asks for acknowledgement that Brunette understands that if such information is aired it, "may be embarrassing or of an otherwise unfavorable nature and may expose Artist, Artist’s friends, co-workers and/or family to public ridicule, humiliation, or condemnation."
Engemann's attorney, Roger N. Behle Jr., told People, "We will litigate this case fully before the court. The case raises some serious issues."
He continued, "Women cannot fear being sued for reporting sexual misconduct," he continued. "A suit like this could have the effect of deterring victims of sexual misconduct from coming forward. That simply cannot happen."
If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, please contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or go to rainn.org.
Phish Announces Summer 2026 Tour
Phish's April and May dates at the Sphere are sold out. But the jam band is extending its tour with new dates in the summer. Some of the venues are part of their tradition, but there is a new city on the list.
Phish's Summer 2026 Includes Madison Square Garden View this post on InstagramThe band will perform at New York's Madison Square Garden on July 22, 24, 25, 27, and 29. Then they'll make their way to Boston's Fenway Park on July 31 and August 1. Phish will stop in Noblesville, Raleigh, Columbia, Syracuse, and perform in Savannah. Once again, they'll spend Labor Day at DICK’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado.
Trey Anastasio talked to The Associated Press about keeping their performance fresh despite doing a residency. "We’ve never repeated a set and we didn’t want to start now," the lead vocalist and guitarist said. "So we created four unique Sphere shows, top to bottom. There was a moment where we were discussing adding shows, because the tickets blew out pretty hard."
Madison Square Garden also has a special place in the band's history. That's where they performed "The Bakers' Dozen," or 13 nights of performances where they didn't repeat a song. The rock band typically plays there multiple nights around New Year's Eve and has performed there over 80 times. The new dates will have them reach 96. However, Billy Joel still holds the record for the most performances at the venue with 150.
The band also released a video teasing the new tour dates. There are clips of someone skateboarding in New York City, David Letterman introducing the band, and more. Fans can currently request tickets through Ticketmaster until Monday, February 23, at 12 p.m. EST. Tickets will then be on sale starting Friday, February 27, at 10 a.m. EST.
IKEA Is Opening More Stores Across the U.S.—Here's Whether or Not Your City Is on the List
A trip to IKEA can easily turn into a whole day in the best way possible. If you time it right (read: not peak Saturday afternoon), it's almost meditative. You start with a cup of coffee or tea, easing into the experience like you've got nowhere else to be. Then you wander the showrooms, peeking into perfectly staged living rooms and mentally rearranging your own furniture at least six times.
Halfway through, you realize you've worked up an appetite and, conveniently, the café is right there. A leisurely lunch break? Don't mind if you do. Refueled, you head into the marketplace, tossing a few "odds and ends" into that big yellow bag. It could be candles, dish towels or maybe a faux plant you absolutely didn't plan on buying. Well, good news, because IKEA is opening new locations in the U.S., making this dreamy day a reality in even more spots around the country.
The Swedish retailer announced that it's adding four new U.S. locations to its 2026 store-opening lineup. That's on top of six previously announced new locations. So what does this mean? Ten more opportunities to find its latest buttery soft duvet covers and chic bamboo serving bowls in stock.

- IKEA Culver City, a "city-center" store in Los Angeles. (So smaller than a traditional IKEA, but there's still a café, baby!)
- IKEA Tulsa, its first store in Oklahoma.
- IKEA Gurnee Mills, in the Chicago area.
- IKEA Fort Collins, its third Colorado location.

Which New IKEA Stores Were Previously Announced? If you've been following IKEA store news, you know the retailer had already announced six openings for 2026 before adding the four other locations mentioned above. Those include IKEA stores in Huntsville, Ala.; University Park in Dallas; Phoenix; Rockwall in Dallas; Chantilly/Dulles in the Washington, D.C., region; and Houston–Webster, Texas.
IKEA just launched some really great new finds as part of its spring collection and, true to form, they're pretty affordable, too. There are playful pendant lamps, sturdy furniture styles and sweet small-space organizers.
And, remember, no trip to IKEA is complete without a soft serve cone on the way out. It's retail, but it's also ritual. When it's not crowded, and you've got time on your hands, this is a spot that feels less like a store and more like a multisensory outing, with it being part inspiration, part treasure hunt and part tiny staycation.

Home Depot's New Spring Countdown Is Like an Advent Calendar for DIY Lovers (Exclusive)
After months of gray skies, icy driveways and staring at the same four walls, it's safe to say most of us are ready for a reset. The urge to clean, plant and finally tackle those long-postponed spring projects starts creeping in before the weather even cooperates.
Now, Home Depot is leaning into that feeling in a big way. For the first time ever, Home Depot is launching a limited-edition spring countdown calendar designed to help customers jump-start their spring projects before the first official day of the season.
A Spring Countdown Designed for DoersHome Depot
So what inspired a home improvement giant to create a spring countdown in the first place?
"It's been a colder-than-usual winter across much of the country, and we know customers are more than ready for spring," Catherine Mootz, a spokesperson for Home Depot, tells Parade. "With the first day of the season right around the corner, we wanted to create something that builds excitement and helps people start planning early. The Let It Spring Countdown Calendar is a fun way to kick off the season while giving customers practical products they can use to get a head start on their spring projects."
The 20-day spring countdown leads up to March 20 and includes more than $250 worth of tools and seasonal essentials for $49.99. It will be released in two online drops on Feb. 20 and Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. ET, and quantities are limited.
But this isn't just a cute box with random trinkets inside.
"What makes it exciting is that every item is something you'll actually use," Mootz says. "It's filled with essentials for refreshing your home and outdoor spaces—from lawn and garden must-haves to cleaning and outdoor living products. It's not just a novelty; it's more than $250 worth of practical tools and seasonal favorites for $49.99, so customers can start checking off their spring to-do list right away."
Each day of the spring countdown reveals a new product, along with digital project guides and how-tos to help turn inspiration into action.
The Let It Spring Countdown Calendar is designed around the most popular home improvement trends of spring 2026. It includes 20 curated products across key spring categories, including:
- Lawn and garden
- Cleaning and organization
- Tools and DIY upgrades
- Grilling and outdoor entertaining
According to Rodes Bazell, senior vice president of merchandising, hardlines, at Home Depot, this year's spring projects are all about bringing outdoor spaces back to life.
"We're seeing customers focus on projects that bring their outdoor spaces back to life," Bazell says. "That includes refreshing patios, upgrading grills and outdoor cooking setups, planting colorful gardens and investing in lawn care to boost curb appeal. There's also strong interest in smaller, high-impact DIY updates—like painting a front door or adding new outdoor lighting—that instantly make a home feel brighter and more welcoming."
With this new spring countdown, Home Depot is turning that seasonal energy into something playful and practical. Instead of waiting for warmer weather to start planning spring projects, customers can build momentum day by day. The countdown also builds momentum for Spring Black Friday, the retailer's big seasonal savings event, helping DIYers tackle every project with confidence.
Each calendar is limited to one per customer, so DIY enthusiasts should act fast. And if you miss the limited online drops, you can still follow along in March to unlock each day's project inspiration, tips and how-to guides.

'Big Brother' Winner Josh Martinez Addresses Years of Rumors Regarding His Sexuality
After nearly a decade in reality television, Big Brother’s Josh Martinez says he’s done trying to define himself for the internet.
In an interview with Men's Journal shared on Wednesday, February 18, the BB Season 19 winner opened up about years of speculation surrounding his sexuality—and why he refuses to label himself just to quiet critics.
"There’s this constant pressure to define everything,” Martinez said. “I’ve never really felt the need to label myself or to say I’m this or I’m that. I’m just Josh.”
The 32-year-old admits it took time to reach that level of confidence. From his gameplay to his appearance to who he dates, Martinez says nearly every aspect of his life has been scrutinized online.
READ MORE: Josh Martinez Reveals a Big Argument We Didn’t See on ‘Destination X’ (Exclusive)
“I really just don’t care anymore. Every single aspect of my life has been attacked, has been judged…from the way I speak everything, the way I compete, the way I look, who I’m sleeping with, my sexuality, the way everything has been destroyed, to where it’s built me to like I just don’t care,” he recalled to the outlet. “People are just gonna have an opinion, and you gotta be okay, and you also can’t give a s**t. And there’s so much freedom in that… if I want to go on a show and sleep with whoever I want to sleep with, or date whoever I want to date, I’m okay with it.”
But, that doesn’t mean his lifestyle hasn’t complicated relationships. “It has ruined some relationships for me that I felt like could be serious,” he shared, explaining that months-long filming schedules have led to ultimatums between love and career.
Professionally, Martinez is about to take on one of his biggest challenges yet. The Challenge veteran is preparing to enter Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos, where he’ll spend 17 weeks cut off from the outside world. “I’m freaking the f**k out,” he admitted to MJ, adding that breaking into the Latin market “is a dream of mine.”
Martinez first rose to fame in 2017 when he won Big Brother 19 at just 23 years old, taking home the $500,000 grand prize after one of the most polarizing seasons in the show’s history. Since then, he has built a steady career across multiple reality franchises, evolving from the emotional underdog fans first met into a seasoned competitor—and now, someone far more comfortable defining himself on his own terms.
'90s Jingle for Frosted Flakes Becomes an Inspiring Anthem With Grammy Nominee's Help
For those whose childhoods preceded the millennium, Frosted Flakes most likely graced your breakfast table along the way.
And who can forget the iconic jingle that accompanied Kellogg's commercials with the one and only Tony the Tiger? As "Jim" from The Office once said, "You don't hear much of him anymore..." But a Grammy-nominated music artist is here to change that — in a gloriously catchy way.
For generations, Tony the Tiger has been more than a mascot — he’s been the original mascot motivator, turning breakfast into a pep talk with his signature flakes. In its first-ever culture collaboration, Kellogg’s signature cereal is aiming to inspire teens by partnering with long-time Frosted Flakes fan and rap artist J.I.D to reimage the '90s-era “Hey Tony” tune into a cultural hype anthem. Check out the all-new track below.
Fans certainly seem on board with the rapper's take on Kellogg's iconic tune, showing their appreciation in the comments section of J.I.D's recent YouTube post. "Even on a song this silly the rapping is still GRRRRRREAT," wrote on YouTube user, while another person commented, "Naw JID u gotta drop full 4 mins of this 1:07 not enough 😭 don’t do us like that."
The new song launch is also paired with limited-edition Tony the Tiger and J.I.D “Day Ones” merchandise and a Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes "Day Ones" cereal box — featuring J.I.D on the front of his favorite cereal, specially illustrated just for the nostalgia-inspired collectible drop. Shop the offerings here.
"Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes has always had a seat at the breakfast table when I was growing up, and Tony the Tiger has been in my corner since Day One,” J.I.D said in a statement, per Kellogg's press release on Wednesday, Feb. 18. “Reuniting with the brand to recreate the iconic ‘Hey Tony’ jingle draws on my own childhood nostalgia, and I couldn’t be more excited to come together to hype up the next generation with a soundtrack that motivates them to unlock their potential.”

There's truly nothing more frustrating than spending hours in the kitchen whipping up a dish you've imagined in your head, only for it to end up looking like an amateur Jackson Pollock painting when it finally hits the plate. Sure, it always ends up tasting great, but as the saying goes, "you eat with your eyes first." Part of the problem is that on most days, we're more focused on just getting dinner on the table than on making a restaurant-quality saffron velouté and crispy-skinned salmon topped with a technically perfect brunoise of quick-pickled mixed vegetables.
Weeknight dishes for us home cooks are typically less technique-heavy and require less finesse than your weekend culinary project. But that doesn't mean we have to settle for dishes that look bland and uninspired or just not as visually appealing as we had hoped. Instead, one of the easiest ways to make our meals pop is to focus on the actual dishes we're serving them in, and Aldi just stocked three gorgeous baking dishes that you might mistake for more expensive designer styles.

The wallet-friendly grocer just dropped its weekly roundup of upcoming Aldi Finds, and these stunning new Crofton Ruffled Baking Dishes instantly caught our eye. And bonus points: they'll make even the most drab dishes look absolutely mouthwatering. Of course, the most important thing is that these gorgeous kitchen staples will only set you back a meager $9.99. Beloved ‘80s ‘Goonies’ Stars Ke Huy Quan and Jeff Cohen Reunite Over 40 Years After the Film Debuted
When they said "Goonies never say die," they really meant it.
Ke Huy Quan and Jeff Cohen, two of the beloved stars who rose to fame alongside Sean Astin and Corey Feldman in the 1985 cult classic The Goonies, reunited this week on the red carpet at The Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony honoring film star Michelle Yeoh. While the duo was just kids when they became beloved Hollywood stars, they've grown into successful adults in their own right. While Quan is an Oscar winner with films like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Zootopia 2 under his belt, you can find Cohen these days practicing entertainment law in Los Angeles. Hey, nothing comes between an actor and his lawyer!
Looking as dapper as can be, the two stars smiled alongside each other as they stood to honor Yeoh for her lengthy career. While Quan is instantly identifiable as his childhood character, it's hard to tell that Cohen once played the lovable character of Chunk.

1978 Hit That Was Kept From No. 1 by a 19-Year-Old Phenom Debuted 48 Years Ago Today
In February 1978, Blondie seemed poised to land their first UK No. 1.
The band’s cover of the 1963 doo-wop hit “Denise,” retitled “Denis,” had quickly become a breakout success overseas, helping introduce Debbie Harry and company to a much wider audience. Released as the second UK single from their album Plastic Letters, the track blended thrashing guitars with bright, playful vocals, and even featured a partly improvised verse in French from Harry herself.
The gamble paid off. “Denis” soared up the UK Singles Chart and ultimately reached No. 2, breaking Blondie firmly into the international market. It also hit No. 1 in the Netherlands and Belgium and cracked the Top 10 across much of Europe.
But in the UK, Blondie ran into an unexpected roadblock.
Keeping “Denis” from the top spot was a haunting, theatrical debut single from a 19-year-old singer-songwriter named Kate Bush.
Bush’s “Wuthering Heights”—inspired by a BBC adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel—became a phenomenon almost immediately upon release. The dramatic, high-register vocals and literary flair captivated listeners, sending the song to No. 1, where it remained for four weeks.
“Denis” spent three weeks stalled at No. 2, first held back by Bush’s breakout hit and then by Brian and Michael’s “Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs.”
Though it never claimed the No. 1 position in the UK, Blondie’s version of “Denis” remains a pivotal moment in the band’s rise. It marked their first major international breakthrough and paved the way for even bigger successes to come, including 1979’s “Heart of Glass,” which would finally send the band to No. 1 on both sides of the Atlantic.

Nigel Barker Rolls Eyes When Asked About Tyra Banks Taking Accountability
Former judge and photographer on America's Next Top Model Nigel Barker has provided a bit more insight into his opinion of the show and its host, Tyra Banks, following the release of Netflix's explosive new docuseries, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model.
Released on February 16, 2026, Reality Check offered a three-part look at the highly controversial reality TV show, which had (primarily) young women competing in increasingly elaborate photoshoots and head-to-head competitions for years.
While it was largely beloved while on air, particularly in its first few years, America's Next Top Model has drawn massive scrutiny in recent years, as modern audiences are much less forgiving when it comes to the harsh treatment of the contestants and some questionable choices by the show.
The docuseries dives into that, particularly narrowing in on some of the show's most controversial moments, from the show pushing one woman to have multiple teeth removed to several examples of body shaming, particularly surrounding weight. It was the latter that Barker specifically commented on in a recent interview.
While Banks was not the sole voice in the room who was telling certain contestants that they were overweight, she has received significant criticism for some of her comments to that effect—although, she ends the docuseries by saying that she is open to being criticized for the things she has said and done.
As shown in a recent post by Entertainment Tonight, when asked whether Barker believes Banks is telling the truth about her openness to taking accountability, the star visibly rolled his eyes and said, "You know, with criticism, you have to understand where you are. If you don't think you've done anything wrong, you're not going to say sorry, are you?"
Barker added, "I can't speak for what she's done or what she does or how she does it, and I'm sure if you ask her, she'll have her reasons, but when you say something on television and you're considered an expert, then people will start to believe you. So, therefore, if you say, 'This girl is overweight or fat,' even if she's not, people will then think that she is, and she might. And it is, quite frankly, it's just purely cruel, too. So, perhaps, just really don't go there."
View this post on InstagramThe internet has responded in kind to the docuseries, with many viewers expressing frustrations that Banks did not deliver a more direct apology.
