Chrissie Hynde has a simple request for concertgoers: put the phones away.

The Pretenders frontwoman recently renewed her criticism of phone use at concerts, urging fans to experience live performances without constantly filming or taking photos. Her comments come as the band enjoys a break from touring.

In a lengthy social media post, Hynde questioned why so many people feel compelled to document every moment.

"What is it with people and their phones?" she wrote on Instagram, before specifically asking why concertgoers and museum visitors feel the need to constantly film and photograph what they're seeing.

Hynde's frustration stems from personal experience. She recalled attending a concert by Emmylou Harris where another audience member's phone blocked her view throughout much of the performance. She also cited similar frustrations at museums and art exhibitions, saying screens often prevent people from fully engaging with the experience.

The rock legend has been outspoken on the topic for years.

Earlier this year, Hynde admitted that phones at concerts have become such a distraction that they have occasionally made her question whether she wants to continue touring at all. "Phones at concerts are one of the reasons why I may never tour again," she told The Times. "I can’t handle it. Something about the energy in the place is disrupted."

Hynde has also repeatedly addressed the issue directly with Pretenders audiences, explaining that phones can be distracting both for performers on stage and for fellow fans trying to enjoy the show.

Best known for hits including "Brass in Pocket," "Back on the Chain Gang" and "I'll Stand by You," Hynde has long been regarded as one of rock's most influential performers.

Her latest comments place her among a growing number of artists who have questioned the role smartphones play at live events, with some musicians embracing phone-free concert policies in recent years.

"Every night, I come off stage scolding myself and saying it's just not worth it and maybe it's time to hang up the guitar and find another vocation," she posted on social media in 2024. "But I love the band and I love playing live for you. I just don’t like being stalked."

For Hynde, however, the issue appears less about rules and more about presence.

As live music continues evolving in the smartphone era, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is making it clear that she'd prefer audiences spend less time watching concerts through a screen and more time experiencing them in the moment.

CBS News has fired veteran journalist Scott Pelley after the 60 Minutes staple had a dramatic clash with management.

Pelley, 68, recently butted heads with the show’s new executive producer, Nick Bilton. The incident went down publicly in a staff meeting, only exacerbating the existing conflict between CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss and the longtime staff of the iconic newsmagazine program. During the meeting, which was captured on audio, Pelley accused Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes.

In a letter to Pelley, which was obtained by a variety of news sources, Bilton informed Pelley of his termination.

“Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear,” Bilton said in the letter. “And I have heard you. I therefore write on behalf of CBS News to inform you that your employment with CBS is terminated effective immediately.”

In a separate note to 60 Minutes employees, Bilton made it clear that the network and Pelley had "parted ways."

“I know how much Scott meant to many of you, and I don’t say this lightly,” Bilton wrote in the letter, NBC News shared. “I made repeated attempts to have direct conversations with him over the weekend, and this afternoon I tried to find common ground. That was not the path Scott chose.”

Who Else Has Left 60 Minutes?

Last week, CBS News announced they were ousting former executive producer Tanya Simon, executive editor Draggan Mihailovich, and correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega, Variety reported.

Anderson Cooper, who has contributed to the show for nearly 20 years, announced he would be leaving the program in February, Parade previously shared.

“The thing is, it’s never felt like work. It’s felt like you’re stepping into people’s lives, and you’re invited into people homes,” Cooper reflected. “You’re invited into their struggles, you’re invited into whatever it is that has brought them to be on 60 Minutes.”

The band lasted less than a year, but it produced one of classic rock’s most enduring songs.

Formed in February1969, Blind Faith united Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech in what many still consider one of rock’s greatest supergroups. Their time together was brief, yielding just one studio album before the band dissolved. Yet from that one record, we got “Can’t Find My Way Home,” a haunting and soulful anthem that still gets stuck in our heads more than five decades later.

Released in the summer of 1969, “Can’t Find My Way Home” is a Winwood original, rumored to be written and composed in just minutes. Like an ambiguous art piece, the song is open to interpretation, with fans attributing drugs, breakups, even the meaning of life to its lyrics. Critics will tell you it’s a balm whose purpose is to counter the free-love fever dream that was the '60s. 

“I’m not enormously prolific. Sometimes I have to work a bit hard to write things, and sometimes things come very quickly,” Winwood shared on Instagram in April. “In Traffic, we were musicians - and first and foremost we wanted to jam. But because at the time we were being played on the radio and had a record deal, we needed to write songs of a certain length. So that became the first reason we wrote songs: as a vehicle to play music. With songwriters, it’s the other way ‘round; they write because that’s what they do.”

No matter the beholder, Winwood’s lyrics explore themes of self-discovery, spiritual searching, and finding inner peace, with Winwood’s soul-stirring tenor elevated by Clapton’s rarely performed acoustic fingerpicking, resulting in a comforting folk-rock ballad. Though the album is full of hits, it’s the second track that gets the most play in this house.

The band’s one and only self-titled album climbed to the top of the U.S. and U.K. charts, with “Can’t Find My Way Home” becoming their seminal track. But as soon as the party started it was over. Blind Faith disbanded after their tour concert in Hawaii in August 1969. According to Far Out, rushed management, a lack of material, and Clapton’s interest in other groups spelled the end of the road.

Today, the surviving members of the supergroup continue to perform the song in their own ways: Winwood at his solo shows and current co-headlining tour with JohnFogerty and Clapton at his curatedCrossroads Guitar Festival. Sadly, drummer Ginger Bake and bassist Grech have passed. 

Outside the band, the track lives on through covers, with standout renditions including those from Swans, Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Styx, and Alison Krauss, just to name a few. Whenever you’re feeling lost, cue up your favorite version and let it guide you home.

Danielle Olivera is addressing confusion surrounding an In the City moment involving Lindsay Hubbard’s claim about her and Carl Radke, insisting in a new interview with Parade: “I know it did not happen.”

During tonight’s episode, Lindsay recounts that years ago, after she and Carl had broken up the first time, Danielle had given Carl a handjob in the back of an Uber a week later. “I don’t think I did that, though,” Danielle says to Lindsay in the episode.

Danielle says she didn’t give Lindsay a strong rebuttal because “I was caught so off guard” by the claim, adding, “I went into the conversation wanting to come away in a good place. So I was like, OK. Eat s—t kind of like you know you're going to eat a little s—t, and it's going to have to be OK. This conversation is to move forward and get into a better place, not to move 100 steps back.”

She also questions the timing of the accusation, adding, “This is from six years ago that you’re calling me a bad friend? Why didn’t we address it fully then?”

The situation is further complicated, she explains, by what Carl allegedly told others at the time. In a Summer House flashback, Kyle Cooke tells his wife, Amanda Batula, that Carl told him they had hooked up. “I had no idea she had talked to Kyle about it before,” Danielle shares. “It was done without my knowledge, so this is like the very first time that I'm hearing it.”

She adds that Carl’s account helped fuel the confusion: “The thing is, for better or for worse, she looks at what the show puts out, and Carl did say that it happened. And so I think Carl is the one who should have cleared it up, but I think that Lindsay was just taking that and running with it.”

But Danielle does offer a mea culpa for earlier tension in their friendship, admitting she didn’t watch the previous season of Summer House, which played into how her comments were received.

“That’s on me,” she says. “I should have been clued into the comment that I made [about] single momming it up. And it sucks because my mom made so many sacrifices. She was a single mom. Like I would never judge someone for that, and the way that it came across was 100% judgmental.”

Watching it back, she adds, “I cringed. I was like, 'Oh God, that does sound bad.' And if I were her, watching that back, I would have an opinion.” Danielle also says she didn’t have the full context of Lindsay’s relationship with Gemma’s father at the time.

“Because Lindsay and I weren't close then, we were still repairing our friendship then,” she recalls. So, “I'm hearing this, and I'm just like, 'Oh, you're giving him the out. You're not gonna move in with him' because I thought they were in a committed, serious relationship.”

Lindsay also criticized Danielle for saying she and Carl were moving too fast during their relationship, which ultimately ended before their wedding. Danielle clarifies her intent: “I truly thought at the time, in my heart of hearts, knowing both of them, Carl being new to his sobriety, and not really knowing who he is. And her being so confident... like it was just a mismatch of phases of life.”

In the episode, Danielle and Lindsay are cautiously dipping their toe back into their friendship, with Danielle sharing that she plans to keep some of her opinions about Lindsay's life to herself, especially if it comes, "at the expense of your friend's heartache and pain," she tells Parade.

Stargate fans have been waiting years for a new chapter in the beloved sci-fi franchise. Sadly, it looks like they'll be waiting a little longer.

According to a source who spoke with Variety, Amazon has pulled the plug on its planned Stargate television series before a single episode ever made it to air.

First announced in late 2025, writer and producer Martin Gero, who previously worked on both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, had been tapped to develop the series. However, sources say Amazon executives worried that the show would appeal primarily to existing Stargate fans rather than attracting a broader audience.

The cancellation is especially disappointing given the excitement surrounding Stargate's potential revival. Amazon first began exploring new projects within the universe after acquiring MGM, the studio behind the franchise, in 2022. While this particular series won't move forward, reports indicate the company is still interested in finding another way to expand the Stargate brand.

The franchise began as a 1994 film starring James Spader and Kurt Russell before evolving into one of television's most successful science-fiction universes. SG-1 ran for 10 seasons, while Atlantis added another five seasons. Several additional spinoffs and films followed, with Stargate Origins becoming the most recent installment in 2018.

The decision also arrives during a particularly brutal year for television cancellations in general. Networks and streaming platforms have been making tough cuts left and right as the industry continues to shift viewing strategies. NBC alone recently canceled a number of notable series and programs, including Access Hollywood, Access Daily, Deal or No Deal Island, and several others as part of a major programming overhaul.

But as far as Stargate goes, fans will just have to wait and see what the future holds.

These ladies in red surprised the America’s Got Talent judges and viewers at home with an addition to their performance that no one saw coming -- and it won them host Terry Crews' Golden Buzzer.

It turned out that the 20-member Acro Crew from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, ranging in age from 7 to 21, was more than just a dance troupe -- they were also a dog act.

“We are all one big family,” the spokesperson said. “These all feel like my little sisters. Some of us are actually family.” And the sisters and cousins raised their hands.

Then Simon Cowell asked how they would split the money if they won.

“I think we all agree that we want to update our studio, more studio space, we want to have a hangout area,” was the reply.

Then they took to the stage – and the surprise element was when they were joined by a variety of dogs in several sizes -- and the judges went crazy, smiling and shouting out their approval.

“I love it,” Sofia Vergara cried, as all four judges gave them a standing ovation.

And you could hear host Terry say offstage, “That was amazing,” while Howie Mandel said, “The best, the best.”

“I think I am going to have to turn this over to Sofia because she was screaming the whole way,” said Mel B said when it was time for the critiques.

“It’s like my two favorite acts,” Sofia said. “Dancing and dog acts and together, I really wasn’t expecting this. It was too much for me. It was amazing. You guys were so good. You were having fun. The dogs were having fun. It was the perfect idea to come to AGT.”

Then Howie chimed in, “You blew me away. I love the dogs. I even love the way they’re dressed. I love everything about you.”

Before Howie could finish, Terry came out from backstage and said, “Hold up! Hold up!” and everyone knew where he was headed – to the Golden Buzzer. And the littlest girls in Acro Crew were crying in joy.

“Acro Crew,” Terry said, “I’ve never seen anything like this in my life,” and he pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending them straight to the Live Shows.

In all the excitement, Simon went to the stage and got his face licked by one of the dogs, which looked like a Border Collie.

“It did my heart so good,” Terry added.

Sofia was remorseful that she hadn’t hit the Golden Buzzer, but she did get to hold the Pekingese dog that was her favorite in the act.

Then Howie came backstage and told the ladies, “I’ve never seen an act like that and I’ve been doing this for 17 years…and Canadian. My wife just showed up and I said, ‘You missed the best act of the season.’”

There are epic songs and then there are...epic songs, and any Led Zeppelin fan worth their salt will tell you that "The Rain Song" falls into the latter category. Originally released on the iconic 1973 album Houses of the Holy, the dreamy track clocks in at over seven minutes long — and while it might be a powerful ballad, please don't call it a power ballad. It's much more than that.

As famed producer Rick Rubin once said, per American Songwriter, “I don’t even know what kind of music ["The Rain Song"] is. It defies classification. There’s such tasteful, beautiful detail in the guitar and a triumphant feel when the drums come in — it’s sad and moody and strong, all at the same time. I could listen to this song all day. That would be a good day.”

And to think, "The Rain Song" might never have existed without George Harrison, who presented Led Zeppelin with a musical challenge.

Jimmy Page recounted the story to music journalist Brad Tolinski for the book Light & Shade: Conversations With Jimmy Page:

"George was talking to Bonzo [John Bonham] one evening and said, 'The problem with you guys is that you never do ballads.' I said, 'I'll give him a ballad,' and I wrote 'Rain Song,' which appears on Houses of the Holy. In fact, you'll notice I even quote 'Something' in the song's first two chords."

Decades later, fans are still indebted to Harrison's suggestion. And they're not the only ones. When Rolling Stone ranked Houses of the Holy #278 on 2020's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list, the honor paid special attention to "The Rain Song" for "featuring one of Robert Plant’s most amazing vocals" — an assessment Plant himself agreed with in a 2005 interview.

“I’d say that on ‘Rain Song,’ I sounded best. I’d reached a point where I knew that to get good, I couldn’t repeat myself," he said. "The high falsetto screams had become quite a kind of calling card. Nowadays, I learn new techniques on my trips to Mali and southern Morocco. I know about restraint and power and using my voice to insinuate.”

It seems Plant's appreciation for "The Rain Song" grew over the years, as he cited "The Ocean" as his best vocal in a 1980 interview with Tony Bacon.

“‘The Rain Song’ was — well, it’s fodder for sarcasm now,” Plant said at the time. “Because, surely, you can’t look at all this too seriously. But looking at it now as some sweet little thing, which it was in its directness and its sincerity — it was a nice little vocal. But it’s very hard to sing it as the springtime of my loving at 39 in my manager’s kitchen.”

Little did Plant know at the time that he'd still be singing "The Rain Song" in concert decades later.

No doubt Stevie Nicks can buy the world today. But back before she was a global superstar dubbed the Queen of Rock and Roll, she was a struggling musician living a bohemian lifestyle in the hills of California and sleeping on a mattress on the floor. 

Despite the visual, the memory is actually a fond reflection Nicks used to conjure up “Gypsy,” the dreamy Fleetwood Mac ballad that became a soft rock anthem.

Released on the band’s June 1982 album, Mirage, “Gypsy” harkens back to Nicks’ days before joining Fleetwood Mac, when the abodes were smaller and the problems simpler. Smooth and magical, the folk-pop hit blends acoustic roots with storytelling lyrics and sweeping melody. 

Nicks penned the song in 1978, three years after joining the band. Channeling her previous life, she sat on the floor of her apartment in San Francisco and surrounded herself in her signature lace shawls to get the creative juices flowing. The result was a wistful time capsule that captures the ache of memory and time slipping away. At the same time, Nicks’ closest friend, Robin Anderson, was battling leukemia, giving the song even more emotional weight.  

Originally, the song was meant for Nicks’ 1980 debut solo album, Bella Donna, but instead became the second single from Fleetwood Mac’s 13th studio album. If you ask Mick Fleetwood or Christine McVie, it’s the best track off the record.

“It really crystallizes that whole period of the early 1980s,” Fleetwood said, via Songfacts, “when we were in our mid-30s and beginning to look back at our lost youth.” 

Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2016, McVie said, “I think ‘Gypsy’ stands out clearly as the best track on the album. Without a doubt. I just think the whole song came together in a very cohesive way. It’s very musical. Very melodic. All the parts are right. It’s just a very beautiful record. And, of course, that video – I know the record company spent a lot of money on it.”

The music video was in heavy rotation on MTV, with the track spending 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 12, and cementing the band’s “continued ability to capture radio play and audience interest during one of their most commercially active periods,” Billboard shared.

“To this day, when I’m feeling cluttered, I will take my mattress off of my beautiful bed, wherever that may be, and put it outside my bedroom, with a table and a little lamp,” Nicks once shared.

Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers has made her choice clear when it comes to television favorites, naming the long-running crime drama Criminal Minds as the “best show of all time.”

The WNBA standout shared her opinion during a brief tunnel interview before the Dallas Wings' recent matchup against the Seattle Storm. Players were asked a simple question: “What is your comfort TV show and why?”

Bueckers did not hesitate with her answer. 

“No edit, ‘Criminal Minds’ because it's the best show of all time and obviously I love Shemar Moore, I love the entire cast and that's really my go to show. Five second answer baby.”

The comment came during a strong stretch for the Dallas Wings. The team recently earned a dominant 79-56 victory over the Seattle Storm, opening its WNBA Commissioner’s Cup campaign on a winning note.

Bueckers’ admiration for Criminal Minds is not new. One of the reasons she enjoys the series is actor Shemar Moore, who played fan-favorite FBI agent Derek Morgan for 11 seasons.

The connection between Bueckers and Moore became public last year when the actor surprised the basketball star at a Dallas Wings game in Los Angeles. Moore attended with his daughter Frankie and later met Bueckers after the game.

During their interaction, an excited Bueckers told the actor, “You're my favorite, bro.”

Before the meeting, Bueckers had already identified Moore as one of her dream celebrity guests at a Wings game. After learning about her admiration, Moore responded publicly and hinted that he would attend one of her games.

That admiration appears to have carried over to the entire series, which Bueckers now openly describes as her favorite comfort show.

Criminal Minds Continues Its Remarkable Run

Created by Jeff Davis, Criminal Minds premiered on CBS on Sept. 22, 2005. The series follows FBI profilers from the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) as they investigate crimes and track dangerous suspects known as “unsubs.”

The show quickly became one of CBS’ most-watched programs and built a loyal fan base over nearly two decades. Its popularity led to multiple spinoffs, a South Korean adaptation and even a video game.

The original series concluded after its 15th season in February 2020. However, the franchise returned in 2022 under the title Criminal Minds: Evolution on Paramount+.

The revival has continued the story with many returning cast members and has helped keep the franchise relevant for longtime viewers and new audiences alike.

In March 2025, the series was renewed for a 19th season, which premiered on May 28, 2026. Before that season even debuted, the show was also renewed for a 20th season, extending one of television’s longest-running crime drama franchises.

Over the years, Criminal Minds has featured a memorable ensemble cast that includes Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Paget Brewster, Joe Mantegna and Shemar Moore.

The series also earned industry recognition, including the People’s Choice Award for Best TV Crime Drama in 2017.

For Bueckers, however, the show’s appeal appears much simpler. With a quick answer and a smile, the Dallas Wings star left little room for debate. For her, Criminal Minds remains the “best show of all time.”

More than three decades after first coming together, Papa Roach is climbing the charts once again.

The band's latest single with hip-hop star Humankind, "See U In Hell," currently sits at No. 10 on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, giving the veteran rockers another notable milestone more than 30 years after their formation.

"The dude is the real deal," Papa Roach vocalist, Jacoby Shaddix, told Rolling Stone of Humankind. "We didn't meet each other before this. I've been a fan. I love [his song] 'Big Dawgs,' such an amazing track. We bang it in the dressing room before shows all the time."

Originally formed in California in 1993, Papa Roach emerged as one of the defining rock acts of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Led by Shaddix, the group broke into the mainstream with its blockbuster album Infest, which featured the massive hit "Last Resort."

That song became one of the signature rock anthems of its era and helped establish Papa Roach as a major force in modern rock.

Unlike many bands that emerged during the same period, Papa Roach managed to survive multiple shifts in the music industry, evolving its sound while maintaining a loyal fan base. Over the years, the group scored additional successes with songs such as "Scars," "Forever" and "Help," proving the band's appeal extended well beyond its initial breakthrough.

The success of "See U In Hell" demonstrates that the group remains relevant in today's hard rock landscape.

The song's climb into the Hot Hard Rock Songs top 10 comes at a time when many veteran rock acts are finding renewed visibility through streaming platforms, social media and younger listeners discovering their catalogs for the first time.

Part of the song's success can be traced to its connection with Netflix's Devil May Cry adaptation of the popular video game series. The track was featured as part of the music surrounding the series, introducing Papa Roach's latest material to a new generation of viewers while also reconnecting longtime rock fans with one of the genre’s most enduring bands.

More than 33 years after forming, the band continues to tour, record and build its legacy.

"We made our decision early on, which was to make music more for our fans than for critical acclaim," guitarist Jerry Horton, told Louder. "We built this world where Jacoby expresses himself through the music, and almost uses it as therapy. And in turn, that helps other people get through their lives. That's ultimately the rewarding part of what we do."

The rise of "See U In Hell" to No. 10 serves as another reminder that Papa Roach remains one of the rare rock bands from the 1990s still capable of generating new chart success decades into its career.

Celine Dion, the “queen of power ballads,” delivered exciting news to fans.

Following the announcement of her upcoming Paris residency, the award-winning singer has expanded the run with a series of newly added dates due to popular demand.

In an Instagram post, the “Heart Will Go On” hitmaker shared an interesting black-and-white video of herself along with the intro to her classic track “It's All Coming Back.”

The caption unveiled 10 new shows scheduled for May 2027, which will take place between May 8 and May 29.

Dion, who will be performing a string of shows at Paris La Défense Arena scheduled to begin on Sept. 12, 2026, described her return to the stage as "the best birthday gift.”

“Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love,” she said in the video, adding, “You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support. KJ Dillard entered Summer House as West Wilson's friend, but the chances of the two speaking again seem increasingly slim after West began dating Amanda Batula, one of Ciara Miller's closest friends.

For KJ, the situation hits close to home. He has long described Ciara as being like a sister, and after watching Ciara and West finally repair their fractured friendship—and seemingly explore the possibility of something more—West's relationship with Amanda added an unexpected twist to an already complicated dynamic.

KJ admitted on the More Life with Carl Radkepodcast that the betrayal against Ciara hit so hard, he may never speak to West again. "I read his message on Watch What Happens Live, and a lot of people were like, ‘KJ is doing this for clout.’ I’m like, no, I really did not read that," KJ said, referring to his last WWHL appearance where he finally decided to read the message West sent to him.

"I was scared inside because I didn’t know what it was gonna say. When it was brought up, I was just like, ‘All right, let me see what it says real quick.’ I skimmed it, and then reading that was some closure for me. But I don’t know when I’m ever going to talk to West again," he admitted. "If I talk to him again.”

So why is this so difficult for KJ? The discussion came during the second part of the reunion after several cast members suggested West was only using Amanda for clout and would eventually move on from the relationship.

"My dad was a very womanizing player, and my mom had to deal with so much s—t," KJ recalled. "So that's why I am hurting, West. Because I don't like that s—t."

West acknowledged KJ as he continued, "I grew up watching that firsthand, and it destroyed my family. My dad's a habitual liar. He lies to everyone but then puts on this persona like he's got everything together, and he makes people feel good."

As KJ spoke, West nodded along. "And so it's like seeing a correlation, and also too, the discussion we had at the table this summer when we talked about race. That was like a very serious thing," KJ said.

Cameras flashed back to the emotional moment where Ciara revealed to the group that she received a lot of racial blowback for dating West, especially with how he treated her.

On Carl Radke's podcast, KJ said more conversations should be had around race. "I've seen comments where it's like it's not always about race, stop bringing race into everything, but it is unfortunately because of how the past has been, it has to be included," he said, adding, "we need to keep having these conversations, because not only with Black people. Other races, too, deal with the same things, and the more we talk about it, it's getting perspective, and I think that's very important to move forward and just equality in general." 

During the reunion, KJ said, "I don't like to see Ciara being treated the way she's being treated."

West, who looked at KJ the entire time, replied, "Yeah. And I'll apologize to you again. I know today's probably not the right time, but like moving forward, whenever the right time is with you, if there's conversations to be had, I would have them with you."

Looking pained, KJ said he will need time but was "open" to a conversation at some point.

Most people slow down in their 90s, but Joan Collins is premiering a new movie. Then again, she’s not most people.

The Dynasty icon stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance at the UK premiere of her new film, A Murder Between Friends, where she was joined by longtime friend Elizabeth Hurley. 

The event gave fans a chance to see two generations of screen sirens together, with Collins, 93, looking elegant in a black embellished dress and matching jacket, while Hurley, 60, turned heads in a bright orange gown.

The pair smiled for photos throughout the evening, joined by Hurley’s son, Damien, and Collins’ husband of more than two decades, Percy Gibson, who also serves as a producer on the new mystery film.

Collins has a rather remarkable career spanning more than 70 years. While she remains closely associated with her iconic role as Alexis Carrington Colby on Dynasty, Collins recently admitted that the character’s success came with a downside.

Speaking to British Vogue in early May, the actress reflected on a comment made by legendary producer Aaron Spelling during the show's heyday. “When Aaron Spelling said, ‘Joan is Alexis,’ that haunted me for so long,” Collins revealed.

The actress said she later confronted him about the remark. “I said, ‘Aaron, why did you say that? You know that’s not true.'” According to Collins, Spelling’s response was simple: “Honey, it gets headlines.”

The comment followed Collins for decades, as many viewers blurred the line between the actress and the famously ruthless television character she portrayed. Yet Collins has long maintained that Alexis was just a character.

Love Island USA Season 8 introduced two bombshells at the end of its first episode. Gabriel Vasconcelos and Kayda Bosse.

Vasconcelos was announced prior to the premiere of the season as being a part of the Love Island USA Season 8 cast, but after the removal of Vasana Montgomery, it appears that the decision was made to hold him back from being a part of the day 1 additions, instead having him be a part of the first twist of the season.

What was the premiere twist?

After a game, the Islanders stood on a green dot if they were happy with their current relationship and not interested in exploring new connections. If they were standing on a red dot, they were open to a new connection.

Thus, when Gabriel and Keyda entered the villa, they got to explore a connection with anyone standing on a red dot.

They both kissed those on a red dot and then proceeded to have them follow them as they exited the villa to explore their connections.

Ariana explains in the promo for tomorrow night's episode, "Choices have been made, and not everyone is still here..." indicating the first dumping of the Island may be sooner than viewers expected.

Who is exploring their connection?

For the men Zach Georgiou and Bryce Dettloff.

For the women Beatriz Hatz and Trinity Tatum.

In the early years of Fleetwood Mac, long before Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were part of the band, founding member Peter Green scored the group their first and only #1 in the U.K. with a song that ending up influencing the Beatles...and it didn't even have any lyrics.

Released as a single in November 1968, the name of the instrumental track "Albatross" was inspired by the term “an albatross around your neck,” per American Songwriter, which Green remembered reading in the 1798 Samuel Taylor Coleridge poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

Musically, Green was influenced by "a group of notes from an Eric Clapton solo, played slower," according to Martin Celmins' biography of the musician. But those notes, as interpreted by Green, were revisited yet again by the most iconic band in rock history.

As George Harrison explained in a 1987 interview, the Beatles used "Albatross" as a sort of starting point while writing what turned out to be "Sun King" on Abbey Road.

"At the time, 'Albatross' was out, with all the reverb on guitar," Harrison recalled. "So we said, 'Let's be Fleetwood Mac doing "Albatross," just to get going.' It never really sounded like Fleetwood Mac...but that was the point of origin."

It makes sense that years later, "Albatross" was ranked #37 on Q magazine's list of "100 Greatest Guitar Tracks."

Of course, since "Albatross" is an instrumental, the Beatles had to look elsewhere for lyrical inspiration...which came in the form of a little goofing around.

“We just started joking, you know, singing ‘quando para mucho,'" John Lennon said in 1969, per Far Out. “So we just made up…Paul [McCartney] knew a few Spanish words from school, you know. So we just strung any Spanish words that sounded vaguely like something. And, of course, we got ‘chicka ferdy’ in. That’s a Liverpool expression. Just like sort of— it doesn’t mean anything to me but (childish taunting) ‘na-na, na-na-na!’ ‘Cake and eat it’ is another nice line too, because they have that in Spanish — ‘Que’ or something can eat it. One we missed — we could have had ‘para noya,' but we forgot all about it.”

The verse in question is definitely on the silly side:

Quando para mucho mi amore de felice corazón
Mundo paparazzi mi amore chicka ferdy parasol
Questo obrigado tanta mucho cake and eat it carousel

Though Lennon later called the beautiful track "garbage," history tells a different story: Decades later, the entire Abbey Road album is still considered one of the most iconic of all time.

Wheel of Fortune fans are still reeling from Monday night's episode, when one contestant went home with a giant cash prize under some questionable circumstances.

During the June 1 episode of WOF, a woman by the name of Caroline Smith from Boston, Mass., was attempting to solve the bonus puzzle in the category "What Are You Wearing?" Smith was given the letters R,S,T,L,N, E, and she chose C,P,H, and O, leaving her with a board that read: "_ _ _ _   _ _R  P_R_ _."

With 10 seconds on the clock to try and solve the puzzle, Smith appeared to give the answer "full fur parka," although the correct response was actually "faux fur parka." Host Ryan Seacrest quickly confirmed that Smith's answer was correct after she said it, but viewers watching at home weren't so sure.

One user on TikTok called the incident an "epic fail," sharing a video from the episode that showed Smith appearing to say "full" instead of "faux."

"I swear she said FULL fur parka!😡😳" another user wrote on Reddit, while several other fans seemed to agree.

"I replayed this sooooo many times!" one viewer commented. "Listening with my eyes closed, she definitely said 'full.' To verify, I rewatched her in the corner on mute, and her mouth says FULL not FAUX!"

Despite the online controversy that erupted after the episode aired, Smith still went home with a $50,000 prize for solving the puzzle in question. She had also racked up $20,850 in winnings throughout the show, bringing her total winnings to over $70,000.

While fans on Reddit wondered if Smith's prize money could potentially be taken back if her response was confirmed to be incorrect, many argued that the situation wasn't her fault, since she still had time on the clock by the time Seacrest told her she had the correct response.

"Definitely said full fur, but obviously not her fault and I don’t blame her for not saying anything," one Reddit user theorized, while someone else said, "I think it's Ryan's fault, bc he accepted it so fast."

"The show messed up," another person added.
