The 1960s are known for being an extremely influential decade for rock. While there are countless beloved and significant 1960s records, Collider managed to narrow down the top 10 classic rock albums from the decade.

The list, published on April 7, featured classics like the 1966 album Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane's 1967 record, Surrealistic Pillow, Big Brother and the Holding Company's album Cheap Thrills, released in 1968, Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 record, Green River, and Santana's 1969 album, Santana. Collider's top five classic rock albums from the '60s included The Rolling Stones' 1966 record, Aftermath, The Jimi Hendrix Experience's 1967 album, Are You Experienced, The Stooges' 1969 self-titled album, and the 1966 record Revolver by The Beatles.

Collider named The Velvet Underground & Nico's 1967 album, The Velvet Underground & Nico, the most perfect 1960s classic rock album. The publication reported that The Velvet Underground & Nico secured the top spot because of how influential it became for the punk scene. In addition, the Andy Warhol-produced record tackled subjects considered off-limits in the '60s.

Lou Reed Said He Viewed Andy Warhol as The Band's Protector

In a 1993 interview, The Velvet Underground & Nico's lyricist and singer, the late Lou Reed, shared that the band was able to release the exact record they wanted because of Warhol's role as the 1967 album's producer. Reed explained that Warhol, a well-known pop artist, was the band's "protector" because his presence dissuaded the record company from attempting to make the album more palatable.

"Because he was Andy Warhol, they left everything in its pure state. They would say, 'Is that okay Mr. Warhol?' And he'd say, 'Oh yeah.' And so they didn't change anything. And so right at the very beginning, we experienced what it was like to be in the studio and record things our way and have essentially total freedom," said Reed, who died in 2013 at the age of 71.

In February, Airbnb announced that Barlochan cottage — which was used as Shane's cottage on Heated Rivalry — would be open to public Airbnb bookings during a few weekends this May. And yes, I'm talking about the actual Canadian cottage where Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie played out the most romantic parts of Shane and Ilya's relationship.

Fans immediately scrambled at the chance to sign up, in hopes of getting to do everything from declaring their first "I love you" to someone special in Shane and Ilya's bed to hearing an actual loon call from a "stupid Canadian wolfbird."

But ahead of those stays, Airbnb invited a group of content creators to vacation in the famous cottage together. And fortunately for fans of Heated Rivalry, the lucky crew shared videos of their Canadian adventures.

Influencers Showed Off Shane's Cottage from Heated Rivalry

Comedians and influencers Boman Martinez-Reid (@bomanizer), Eric Sedeño (@ricotaquito) and the duo of Ashley Gill and Grant Gibbs (@a_twink_and_a_redhead) got to spend time together at Barlochan cottage, featured in Heated Rivalry's Season 1 finale episode, aka "The Cottage."

In one silly video shared by the foursome, Gill shows up at the cottage to surprise her "boyfriend," only to walk in on the three men sharing a romantic moment. The video gives viewers a glimpse at various rooms in the cottage, including the couch where Shane has his infamous phone call with Hayden.

In another video, the crew gives a tour of the cottage, where they show off the kitchen and spoof the moment Shane's dad accidentally spots Shane and Ilya kissing.

And in a video tour posted by Sedeño, he points out the spots where Ilya stepped into the cottage for the first time, the couch where the couple first cuddled, the fire pit where Ilya told Shane about his mom, the couple's bed and more.

In 2020, Trevor McIvor Architect designed and built Barlochan cottage, which is located in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. As reported by The New York Times, the cottage's owners hired Jayne McCaw of Jayne'S Luxury Rentals to manage the home's listing on Airbnb.

The cottage was available for bookings for four weekends: May 8-10, May 16-18, May 22-24 and May 29-31. Unsurprisingly, all dates are already completely booked. Here's hoping the blessed guests share more content of the cottage on social media, because I personally would love to see every detail.

Stephen King has been sending Hollywood to the source material for more than 50 years. Across 68 rated theatrical adaptations on Rotten Tomatoes, the results range from genuine masterworks to films with Tomatometer scores that could charitably be described as zero. For most of that ranking's history, one film sat alone at the top, and it came from the very first King novel ever published.

Brian De Palma's Carrie (1976) currently holds a 93% Certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, ranking it second among all King adaptations. For years it held the number one spot outright, until The Long Walk (2025) debuted with a 95% and nudged it down. The demotion changes nothing about what Carrie accomplished. It remains the film that proved Stephen King adaptations could be prestige cinema, and it's essentially the one that launched King's entire Hollywood legacy.

The novel came first. King published Carrie in 1974, his debut, famously retrieved from a trash can after he'd given up on it. The story of Carrie White, a telekinetic teenager tormented by classmates and a fanatically religious mother, was spare and brutal. De Palma's film arrived two years later and turned it into something closer to drama. Theatrically released on November 3, 1976, by United Artists, the film grossed over $33.8 million against its $1.8 million budget and received two nominations at the 49th Academy Awards, Best Actress for Sissy Spacek and Best Supporting Actress for Piper Laurie.

Those nominations tell part of the story. Spacek's performance as Carrie White remains one of the definitive portrayals of a King protagonist on film. Laurie as the mother, Margaret White, is her match, unhinged and genuinely frightening. The prom sequence that closes the film has been dissected, referenced, and parodied for nearly five decades and is still forceful.

Rotten Tomatoes' critical consensus calls it a 'horrifying look at supernatural powers, high school cruelty, and teen angst' and credits it with one of the most memorable and disturbing prom scenes in history. On Metacritic, the film holds a weighted average of 85 out of 100, indicating universal acclaim. Quentin Tarantinoplaced it at number eight on his list of personal favorites. In 2008, Carrie was ranked 86th on Empire's list of The 500 Greatest Movies of All Time and 46th on the American Film Institute's AFI's 100 Years...100 Thrills.

The film's cult status is the product of genuine staying power. Three subsequent Carrie adaptations, a 2002 TV movie, a 2013 theatrical remake with Chloë Grace Moretz, and The Rage: Carrie 2 in 1999, each arrived to reviews that essentially pointed back to the 1976 original. The 2013 version, with a 51% Tomatometer, still had 29 other King films ranked above it.

The broader RT ranking reflects how durable the King-to-screen pipeline can be when the material is handled well. Stand by Me, Misery, and The Shawshank Redemption all sit inside the top ten. The Shining, widely regarded as one of the greatest horror films ever made , ranks 11th at 84%, a number that surprises people every time they see it. What makes Carrie's position remarkable is that it achieved its score from a single 1976 film, based on a debut novel, made for less than two million dollars.

King himself has saidCarrie saved his career before it properly started. The advance from Doubleday allowed him to quit teaching and write full time. Everything that followed, The Shining, It, Misery, the entire canon, traces back to one discarded manuscript and one film that still ranks among the best of his name on screen.

From the first moments you hear the melody, accompanied by a voice singing, "If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain..." you know it's time to hit the sand, grab a cold beverage, and catch some sun—the summery vibe is just imminent.

For that reason, it's no surprise that Rupert Holmes' "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" made Billboard's list of the best beach songs of all time, which includes 10 of the all-time greatest summer songs about, well, going to the beach.

The famed music publication rounded up "10 best songs the past century of music has to offer on the topic, featuring contemporary pop stars such as Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry to visionary groups like The Drifters and, of course, the Beach Boys. Some of them are exactly as fun and free as they seem on the surface, while others were written with deeper metaphors inspired by the ocean’s many mysteries in mind."

Originally released on Sept. 17, 1979, "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" was written and performed by the British‑American singer‑songwriter himself, and featured as the lead single from his fifth studio album, Partners in Crime. It instantly became a defining moment of late‑’70s pop culture.

Chart‑Topping Success: The Last Big Hit of the ’70s

The song’s success was remarkable, considering it came from a soft rock artist who hadn’t had a major pop hit before. From the moment it hit the airwaves in October 1979, it climbed steadily, notching a few standout achievements:

• It became the final No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 of the 1970s. 
• After being briefly dethroned, it returned to No. 1 in January 1980, making it one of the first songs ever to top the chart in two different decades. 
• It also reached the top spot in Canada and scored high positions internationally, including Top 10 placement in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.

In total, the song spent weeks on the Billboard charts and then kept new audiences discovering it through film and television for decades—from Shrek to Guardians of the Galaxy.

A Story That Sounds Like Vacation

Unlike straightforward summer songs that celebrate sun and surf, Holmes’ track stands out because of its cinematic narrative. It tells the story of a bored lover reading newspaper personal ads, only to serendipitously answer his partner’s ad for a tropical‑loving match—“piña coladas” included—without realizing it’s her. 

That twist, paired with laid‑back rhythms that evoke gentle breezes and carefree vibes, made the song feel tailor‑made for warm‑weather playlists—even though Holmes later admitted he’d never even tasted a piña colada when he wrote it (his loss, though a good strawberry daiquiri is preferred instead).

And if you're trying to feed an entire family, options can be frustratingly limited.

Tovala has been working to change that equation by combining a smart countertop oven with a meal delivery service designed to simplify cooking while still producing meals that feel thoughtfully prepared. The company is now expanding its audience by rolling out chef-crafted family meals designed to serve up to four people, and I got to try out some of these new meals myself. Here's what I thought of its latest launch.

How Tovala and the Smart Oven Works The Smart Oven Works by Scanning the QR Code

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Tovala operates as both a meal service and a kitchen appliance company. New customers typically receive the company’s signature smart oven when they sign up for a meal plan, creating a system where the appliance and meals are designed to work together.

The oven uses scan-to-cook technology that selects the proper timing and cooking method—automatically rotating between convection heat, steam cooking and broiling. After a small amount of prep, users simply scan the meal’s barcode and the oven manages the rest.

Until recently, most of Tovala’s meals were designed as single servings. With the launch of its new Family Meals, the company is expanding into larger portions designed to feed up to four people, while still using the same smart oven system that sets it apart.

The new format also allows customers to mix and match single-serve, two-serving and family-sized meals depending on their needs. Whether that means feeding a household, a romantic dinner for two or supplementing a larger gathering, Tovala's expanded menu is loaded with options.

How the New Family Meals Performed All Food is Cooked Simultaneously

Having tried Tovala’s individual meals in the past, I was especially interested to see how the Family Meals would scale up. As someone who cooks regularly, what really stands out is how well the oven handles multiple components at once.

One meal I tested included rice, crispy chicken, noodles and vegetables. Instead of relying on pre-cooked grains or microwave shortcuts, the rice started dry and cooked alongside everything else. By the time the cycle finished, the rice was tender, the chicken had a crisp exterior, and the vegetables were fully cooked without becoming soft or overdone.

Having multiple elements finish at the same time without extra pots or timing adjustments is an impressive feat of the company's Smart Oven.

Another meal paired meatballs with broccoli and tortellini, again cooking everything together in a single cycle. Instead of juggling different cooking methods and trying to time it out, the process is largely hands-off.

A Convenience Upgrade That Still Feels and Tastes Like Real Cooking Sweet and Sour Chicken with Lo Mein and Broccoli

Where the Tovala system feels the most different from typical frozen dinners is the taste and quality of the meals. Rather than replacing cooking entirely with pre-made, heat-and-eat options, the goal here is simplifying, so a family dinner can still feel and taste like dinner, just without the full kitchen production.

Most meals finished in about 20 minutes, but what stands out isn't just the time saved. It's the consistency. Everything came out properly cooked, which isn’t always the case with convenience-focused meal solutions. And everything tasted good, bringing nothing but praise from everyone at the table.

Compared to the single-serve meals I had tried previously, the Family Meals feel like a natural evolution of the concept rather than a departure from what already worked. The portions are sized appropriately, not leaving anyone walking away from the table still hungry.

For anyone balancing busy schedules but still wanting dinners that feel complete, the new Family Meals feel less like a shortcut and more like a practical upgrade to a weeknight routine.

Consumers drop a fortune on silk pillowcases, bond-repair serums, and heat protectants, only to wake up and commit a daily act of war on their scalps. It’s the unspoken truth of the modern vanity table: the hairbrush, the one tool everyone uses every single morning, is actually the third leading cause of hair damage. Most treat a knot like a battlefield, dragging plastic bristles through delicate fibers until something snaps. Usually, it’s the hair.

Enter Dave Richmond. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, his track record definitely does. Richmond is one of thes mind behind the InStyler, the rotating iron that defined an entire era of at-home blowouts and generated over $1.3 billion in retail sales. A Marlon Brando classic has often been tagged as one of the greatest American movies ever made and a staple of Hollywood. His 1954 crime drama was named in an extensive list as one of the "best movies of all time" and earned the actor an Oscar for Best Actor.

The actor was already a household name when he starred in Elia Kazan's hit film On the Waterfront, which was inspired by a series of published articles by Malcolm Johnson. His "Crime on the Waterfront" even earned the writer a Pulitzer for local reporting, and the backdrop to a crime drama film riddled with violence and corruption. Rotten Tomatoes ranks the classic black-and-white film as one of the best movies ever made.

On the Waterfront follows Terry Malloy (Brando), a former boxer turned dockworker, after purposely losing a fight for a local mob boss. He finds himself entangled in a corrupt longshoremen's union controlled by ruthless bosses and witnesses a crime. Terry soon struggles between staying loyal to a system that protects him and speaking out for justice. As he gets close to the victim's family, he's faced with the decision on whether to stand up against corruption.

The film is one of Brando's critically acclaimed classics that has been a staple in Hollywood from the big screen to film classes. A combination of elements from storytelling, cast, themes, and overall on-screen presence made it a standout film. Brando delivers one of the most naturalistic performances in film history, with his iconic “I coulda been a contender” scene landing with striking authenticity and elevating the emotional stakes of his character.

Not to mention, Kazan tackles the film's themes of corruption, labor unions, and moral courage that were relevant to the real-world issues of the time. On the Waterfront goes beyond good vs. evil and dives into conscience, guilt, and redemption that's deeply human. Its use of filming location on the waterfronts of Hoboken, New Jersey, also adds a lived-in documentary style.

Applause is also to the film's cast, with Brando starring alongside actors like Karl Malden, Lee J. Cobb, Rod Steiger, Pat Henning, and Eva Marie Saint in her film debut. On the Waterfront led to it being nominated for 12 Oscars and winning eight incuding Best Picture, Best Actor for Brando, Best Supporting Actress for Saint, and Best Director for Kazan.

"With his electrifying performance in Elia Kazan's thought-provoking, expertly constructed melodrama, Marlon Brando redefined the possibilities of acting for film and helped permanently alter the cinematic landscape," reported Rotten Tomatoes.

Brando's role has inspired and been praised by fellow Hollywood icons likeAl Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, andJack Nicholson, who called the actor "mesmerizing" and his work "breathtaking." On the Waterfront was also one of the first 25 films to be deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress.

We're at the halfway point of the first season of Marshals. The show is finding its stride, and Yellowstone fans are loving it. In this week's episode, the Marshals find themselves protecting a judge and her family after they narrowly escape a car bomb. Is it someone from her old cases or something else entirely? In "Out of the Shadows," last week's conclusion of a two-part story on Marshals—After losing the trail of teen trafficking victims, Kayce (Luke Grimes) must tell Tate (Brecken Merrill) that his friend may be gone for good. When the Marshals learn the girls are in the hands of a violent motorcycle gang, they launch a dangerous op to infiltrate the gang. Later, Kayce and Tate hit a milestone anniversary neither is ready to face.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's son, Moses, just turned 20, and he resembles his father so much.

Paltrow, who is known for diverse roles ranging from Shakespeare in Love and Great Expectations to Marty Supreme and The Royal Tenenbaums, married Chris Martin, known as the lead singer of Coldplay, in 2003. While the duo divorced in 2016, they're still on great terms and have two children together. Their youngest child, Moses, recently turned 20, and Paltrow took to Instagram to honor his birthday with a sweet series of photos that show just how much he looks like his father.

Paltrow has an exciting leading role coming around the bend.  Netflix just acquired the rights to the No. 1 New York Times bestseller Strangers by Belle Burden, and Paltrow is attached to star in the feature adaptation, Deadline reported in late March. The groundbreaking memoir follows Burden as her husband of 20 years unexpectedly announced that he was leaving her.

The role follows Paltrow's return to the big screen in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme alongside Timothée Chalamet.

With over 80 million records sold, three Grammy Awards and a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Tom Petty is undeniably one of the greatest rock musicians in history. Born on Oct. 20, 1950, in Gainesville, Florida, he grew up in a working-class family where his home life was far from perfect. "I never felt safe as a child," he told Louder Sound. "If you're in an abusive situation—my dad was very verbally abusive—you need a safe place. I took refuge in music. Rock 'n' roll was my safe place."

Fortunately, Tom's mom was the complete opposite of his dad. "[She] was a complete angel," he told Parade in 2010. "She'd give me Rolling Stones albums. My mom was always there, always great." He taught himself how to play guitar and at 17, he dropped out of high school to pursue music full-time and eventually moved to Los Angeles with his band, Mudcrutch. The band fell apart, but instead of moving back to Florida, Petty worked to put the pieces together for a new one: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. On Nov. 9, 1976, they released their debut album and the rest—as they say—is rock and roll history!

Deeper Meaning of Tom Petty's Quote:

You may be thinking, "That's easy for a millionaire to say!" But here's the thing: Petty didn't just utter this quote, he lived it. In the late 1970s, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had released two successful albums under the independent label Shelter Records, which were distributed under ABC Records. Then, in 1979, MCA Records acquired ABC Records, which meant that the band's contract was automatically transferred to the new label—something Petty neither knew about nor agreed to.

The move made him feel like a product and so he refused to work under the new label or let them release any new music that had already been recorded. The massive conglomerate and its powerhouse legal team sued him for breach of contract, threatened to seize his assets and attempted to legally block him from recording music for anyone else. Petty could have lost everything, but he stood up for what he believed in and what he loved. He filed for bankruptcy and paid out of his own pocket to record new music.

Once MCA realized that Petty was okay with losing everything rather than caving to their demands, they finally backed down. (Because he wouldn't!)

From there, they negotiated a new contract where Petty would win back both creative control and his publishing rights. Plus, any new music would be released under a subsidiary label so he wouldn't need to deal with MCA executives ever again! It was one of the biggest behind-the-scenes artist wins in music history—and it was all because Petty cared more about his principles than his bank account.

Both with the band and as a solo artist, Tom Petty would go on to become one of the biggest artists in music history. On Oct. 2, 2017, he died at the age of 66, but his music and message will live on forever.

As Hingher indicated, the new grocery versions of Dippin' Dots will be sold in multi-packs, with each box featuring four individually packaged 2.5 oz. cups of the brand's most popular flavors: Cookies ’N Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Ultimate Brownie Batter.

If that weren't exciting enough, Dippin' Dots also confirmed they'll be introducing two new sundae ice cream flavors this coming as well, taking the form of the delicious-sounding Banana Split and Cool Mint Crunch.

"While the sundae cups layer Dippin’ Dots with toppings and sauce, the new multi-packs feature only the classic beaded ice cream that fans know and love," the brand said of the new product launch. "All three flavors of the new ice cream multi-packs will be available at Walmart, as well as other retailers nationwide."

Sometimes, the best romances are the ones that take a while to develop, making the happily ever after worth the wait. Although there are a lot of popular love stories out there, the best slow-burn on shelves might not be one that you’ve heard of before.

As Francesca and Michaela's storyline will unfold in the next season, fans will be introduced to more of her and John's family. Boatswain will play the new role of Michaela's mother and John's aunt, Helen Stirling. Her inclusion in the season will surely bring more depth to Michaela's storyline and how her own mother sees her love journey with Francesca. Fans can also expect the two characters to address John's death.

For the new season, Helen is "Michaela’s mother and the very source of her spirit. Like any mama, she seeks to guide — and occasionally push — her daughter through London’s social season, with equal measures vivaciousness and tough love."

Boatswain is largely known for British roles, appearing in Agatha and the Midnight Murders, After the Flood, and starring in The Sandman as Prime Minister Zewde.

Rounding out the new cast is Mobland actor Gemma Kinight Jones. She will join Bridgerton Season 5 as Michaela's dear friend Lady Elizabeth Ashworth. Based on her character description, she's "an old friend of Michaela’s who serves as her confidante and London guide.” Per Netflix, “Beneath Elizabeth’s playful charm lies a grounded realist who is wise to the unspoken rules of society."

Bridgerton Season 5 will explore the series's first main LGBTQ love story, following the events of the fourth season. After a two-year time jump, Francesca re-enters the marriage mart as Michaela returns to London.

Episode 2 picks up in the aftermath, repurposing A-Train’s death into a martyr narrative and falsely blaming Starlight. As Homelander expands his inner circle — even bringing Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) back into the fold — Butcher pushes forward with a dangerous weapon: The supe-killing virus first introduced in Gen V and later woven into The Boys Season 4. Now refined and ready for use, the virus becomes the center of a growing divide within the team, with some willing to deploy it no matter the cost and others insisting it be used only against the worst offenders, not the supes they still consider allies.

Viewers are expecting a high body count this season. Why was A-Train the right character to open with, and what made his ending feel like the right one for the story?
I think it was important to kill someone really crucial and important in Episode 1 to really prove that no one was safe. And A-Train just had such a great redemption arc. In the first five minutes of the pilot, he's the villain of the show. He's the one who sets the whole story in motion. And then here we are in the first episode of Season 5. And the reason he gets caught is because he refuses to run through a woman. So I think it was time to bring his story full circle as a hero.

Worm (Ely Henry) is such a bizarre, very specific character — a TV writer eating dirt to break into a prison. Was he inspired by anyone you know? And be honest… do you have a Reacher spec script tucked away somewhere?
[Laughs.] He was inspired by every single person in that writer's room, myself included. We love The Worm because all of his issues are really the issues that writers talk about behind closed doors, and he really is the voice of the writers in the show. I mean, look, we're all reasonably anxious about the finale, and so it really helped as a pressure valve to have a writer in the show saying, "Yeah, finales are really hard. They suck." It's really hard to do, and a lot of them really are not very good. And it helped us process our anxiety.

There’s a lot going on in these episodes, but I have to ask about Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) finally speaking. How much fun has it been to write for her in a new way, especially with a line like, “Your skin is so oily, like hugging a McRib”?
It was a blast. Karen is such a good actor, and I was so looking forward to really giving her some lines. I remember they were wiring her with a microphone in Season 5, and she was like, "Wait, what are you doing?" And we're like, "Yeah, no, we actually need to put a microphone on you now because you're actually going to be speaking." And so that was just a blast. But I will say finding Kimiko's verbal voice was a process. And it actually was really hard and tricky because she had a very clear voice and persona as somebody who didn't speak, but now that she could, what did she sound like? What words could she use? What was her internal monologue the last four years that she's talking to Frenchie that she could now finally say out loud? And that took a little bit of trial and error.

At one point, we were writing her like a teenage girl, and we're like, "That doesn't feel right." And then we said, "Okay, well then she's just going to speak really rapid fire and then that didn't feel right." And so we really landed on this, what I think ended up feeling right, which is that she's just really funny and sardonic and dark. We asked ourselves, "What emotions did we feel about Kimiko before she could speak?" And we're like, "Well, she was sweet, but also super violent and scary and dark, but also kind of funny." And we said, "Well, let's write her like that." And I think that ended up being the key.

The song that launched The Supremes into stardom is just over six decades old today.

"Where Did Our Love Go," which was recorded on April 8, 1964, became the group's first No. 1 single and solidified them as a household name in not only the Motown scene, but in mainstream music as well.

The group, was originally comprised of Diana Rossas the lead singer with Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson on background vocals.

According to Billboard.com, "Where Did Our Love Go" charted in July, a few months after it was recorded and remained on the chart for six weeks and ultimately hit No. 1—they're first song to do so. In a 2014 interview, Wilson talked about how the song's success opened doors for them that were unimaginable at the time.

"We were still living in the projects," she said. “'Where Did Our Love Go' was released in summer, when you could hear music outside in the neighborhood. We tuned in to every radio station, including CKLW. Hearing it on the radio for the first time was big for us even though we didn’t like the song. It was infectious."

The song's success was a longtime coming as the group's previous releases weren't quite hits. Per Wilson, it wasn't until the women worked with producers Eddie Holland, Lamont Dozier and Brian Holland, after working with Motown icon Berry Gordy, that the song came along.

"If we didn’t get a hit, our parents were going to make us go to college," Wilson recalled. "I went to [Holland] and I cried. I told him, 'You don’t understand, we’ve got to get a hit record right now.' He said, 'Don’t worry, trust us, this is going to be a smash.'”

After the success of "Where Did Our Love Go" the singers went on to release "Baby Love" and "Stop! In the Name of Love."

The group's momentum led them to be known as "Motown's Supremes."

"We helped put Motown on the map," Wilson said, mentioning that thanks to their additional success in the U.K., "We were taking pictures with royalty and hanging out with the Rolling Stones."
