It has been 15 years since Buddy Miller released a solo record, and the wait now has an end date.

The Americana great will put out his self-titled album Buddy Miller on Sept. 11 via New West Records, his first solo LP in 15 years. He announced the news on Tuesday, July 21, the same day the album track "Don't Look Back," premiered.

The 12-song set was produced by Miller and follows In the Throes, his acclaimed 2023 album with his wife, Julie Miller. He has said the plan was to make a country soul record, before more of Julie's songs found their way onto it.

A Guest List Packed With Legends

Miller filled the album with friends. The tracklist features Emmylou Harris, The War and Treaty, Lee Ann Womack, Shawn Colvin, Ashley Monroe, Elizabeth Cook, Jim Lauderdale, Dan Penn, and Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, with The McCrary Sisters appearing throughout. "Don't Look Back" pairs Miller with Penn, the soul songwriter behind classics cut by Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. The two met in 1994 over a tape machine Miller had listed in the PennySaver. "He passed on the Studer, but I gained a hero as a friend," Miller said.

Four Decades of Americana

Miller is a Grammy winner and one of Nashville's most respected players, named "Artist of the Decade" by No Depression. He has worked with Willie Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Robert Plant, and Elvis Costello, served as executive music producer on ABC's Nashville, and co-hosts The Buddy & Jim Show on SiriusXM with Lauderdale.

Few songs have defined country music quite like Johnny Cash's iconic song "I Walk the Line." But when the single climbed to the top of the charts 70 years ago today, it wasn't just another hit, it marked the beginning of an extraordinary Billboard legacy.

On July 21, 1956, "I Walk the Line" reached No. 1 on Billboard's Most Played C&W in Juke Boxes chart, the predecessor to today's Hot Country Songs chart. The milestone gave Cash his first career No. 1, the first of 14 country chart-toppers he would earn over the next three decades.

The song was unlike almost anything else on country radio at the time. Rather than relying on a traditional chorus, it featured five verses, multiple key changes, and the deep, resonant vocal style that would become Cash's signature.

According to Billboard, the unusual structure was inspired by an accidental discovery while Cash was serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, when he heard a tape playing backward and became fascinated by its haunting sound. After returning home, fellow Sun Records labelmate Carl Perkins encouraged him to change one of his working titles to "I Walk the Line," and Cash completed the song in about 20 minutes.

Cash later revealed the song was deeply personal, describing it as a promise to remain faithful to his first wife Vivian Liberto, while life on the road presented constant temptation.

"It was kind of a prodding to myself to, 'Play it straight, Johnny,'" Cash recalled during a 1997 interview (via NPR).

Ironically, Cash wasn't convinced the finished record would succeed. Producer Sam Phillips urged him to speed up the song and create the distinctive rhythmic guitar sound by weaving paper through the strings. When Cash first heard the recording on the radio, he wanted Phillips to stop promoting it.

"I heard it on the radio, and I really didn't like it," Cash admitted. "I called Sam Phillips and I asked him please not to send out any more records of that song. But he said, 'Let's give it a chance.'" Within days, the record had taken off.

Phillips' instincts proved correct. "I Walk the Line" spent more than 43 weeks on the charts, crossed over to the pop charts by reaching No. 19, and eventually sold more than two million copies.

Its influence has only grown with time. The recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998, earned a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll, and Rolling Stone ranked it No. 76 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and No. 1 on the list of the Greatest Country Songs of All Time. Just last month, CBS News also included it among the 250 essential American songs of the past 250 years.

Legendary singer/songwriter Bob Dylan once told Rolling Stone of the song, "“It was different than anything else you had ever heard. A voice from the middle of the Earth.”

Seventy years after it gave Johnny Cash his first No. 1 hit, "I Walk the Line" remains one of the defining recordings in country music history and the song that launched one of the genre's most enduring careers.

Following the immense success of their And Another Bloody Greatest Hits Tour, iconic '70s rock band 10cc has announced a brand new UK leg for spring 2027. The band shared the exciting news on Tuesday, thrilling longtime fans across the country.

The new run will carry the same name as it travels across the UK, commencing on February 25 at the Llandudno Venue Cymru and wrapping up on March 25 at the Stockton Globe. The extension comes on the heels of sold-out European runs and is designed to build momentum on the group's current touring peak.

The And Another Bloody Greatest Hits Tour originally evolved from the group's 2024 Ultimate Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour, which featured their first North American trek in over 30 years and launched their current "Hits Tour" era.

A Celebration of Five Decades of Music

As frontman Graham Gouldman highlighted, the shows will celebrate the group's impressive 53-year discography, showcasing iconic tracks like "Art For Art's Sake," "Dreadlock Holiday," "Life Is A Minestrone," "The Things We Do For Love" and "I'm Not In Love."

“The tour title is not an expression of exasperation, but a humorous nod to the fact we’re out doing it again,” Gouldman said in the announcement post for the 2026 run. “We’ve had the Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour, then the Ultimate Ultimate tour and couldn’t add a third. Our audiences know what to expect – hit after hit after hit, with a few variations.”

In 2023, it was announced that King of the Hill would see new life, as the hit animated sitcom would be revived for a brand-new set of episodes. Luckily, when the time came to revisit the iconic citizens of Arlen, Texas, Mike Judge and Greg Daniels had plenty of buy-in from the original cast to return to their roles, including Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon and Stephen Root. Initially, however, one prominent voice actor from the first thirteen seasons would not be getting a reprise.

Toby Huss was a vital part of the show's initial run on FOX. He voiced not only Hank Hill's irascible father, Cotton, but also his next-door neighbor, the self-centered and obnoxious Kahn Souphanousinphone. When Judge and Daniels began to circle the wagons for King of the Hill's return, Cotton had already passed away canonically. And the show chose to go in a different direction for a 2020s take on Kahn, recasting the role with Ronny Chieng to be more reflective of the ethnicity of the loudmouth Laotian.

"Kahn was a decision that I think Greg and Mike and some people producing it made, and the network made," Huss recalls to Parade in an exclusive interview. "And they were much more comfortable having someone else do it. I went, 'Well, that's alright. It's the evolution of this character, the evolution of the show. It seems completely appropriate."

It turned out, however, that Huss would indeed have a major role to play in the King of the Hill revival. And it unfortunately came as a result of a tragic and devastating loss.

Johnny Hardwick spent the FOX tenure of the show playing the role of conspiratorial Dale Gribble. It wasn't long before the character became a fan-favorite of the series, a more welcome surprise than a handful of pocket sand. Hardwick was among the original cast to return to their role in the revival, voicing Dale for half of Season 14. Shockingly, in August 2023, he passed at the age of 64, found dead face-up in his bathtub.

As both the KOTH fandom and family alike mourned the monumental loss of Hardwick, the discussion soon turned to what would happen next. The show had its fair share of cast deaths in the interim, chiefly Brittany Murphy and Tom Petty, and their characters had been written out of the series out of respect for both the characters and actors. But Dale was still a key cog in Arlen in the 2020s and, as mentioned before, Hardwick had already gotten his voice on tape for half the episodes this season.

Their solution was an offer to Huss that was equal parts emotional and exhilarating: Take over as the voice of Dale for the rest of the season, and in perpetuity.

"The passing of Johnny was awful and horrible," the Adventures of Pete and Pete actor says. "He was an old pal, and he was a sweetheart. My main job is to be respectful to Johnny first, and to respect what he did as a performer and as an actor, because he made that character. There's nothing in that character that isn't Johnny. He knows all the rules of Dale, and now he's gone. So I can only try to pick up some of the ideas that he had, and go with those, and try to continue what Johnny had started. That's all I'm doing."

He continues, "The highest compliment I can get that I can get from this is to say, 'Wow, we didn't notice the transition to you, Toby. We love what you're doing.' So as long as the voice might not be there 100 of the time, I think it's pretty close. The writing is all there. So the only way we can mess this up is with my performance. So I'm just trying to stay in this world that Johnny built. Because if you can stay in that world, which is hard because it's such a fertile fecund place. But if you can stay in there, you're going to be doing great."

While Huss lays a lot at the feet of the late Hardwick for building out the character of Dale, the writers have taken a major step in expanding his character. The newest season of the revival, which dropped on Hulu on July 20, had one episode centering on the complicated marriage of the Gribbles. As we, and everyone in Arlen except Dale, knows, his wife Nancy has been cheating on him for years with her masseuse, John Redcorn. Dale's obliviousness about the cuckoldry has been one of the longest-running bits of the series, made even more ridiculous by the fact that his son Joseph bears an uncanny resemblance to John Redcorn himself.

Episode 5 of Season 15 has Dale and Nancy leading a couples counseling course on a church marriage retreat. Peggy is apoplectic at the idea, considering how Nancy had been cheating on her husband essentially in public for decades. But Nancy confided in her friend that spending so much concentrated time with Dale had rekindled her feelings for him. By the end of the episode, she officially ends her affair with John Redcorn (which also serves as a convenient way to write the Native American out of the show, as his voice actor, Jonathan Joss, passed away in 2025).

"I think it's it's the it's a great place to go with it," says Huss. "Because with all these relationships, each character, personally you want to see them grow or encounter something weird. And if Dale is one-note, then you're going to go, 'Okay, well, that guy's just one-note.' But it's nice to see where these guys are after all these years and what's happening in their lives. Even if Dale started wearing a top hat, you'd go, 'Well, what the hell? Dale's wearing a top hat. That's weird. Why is he doing that?' And we'd explain in the show, and you go, 'Ah, okay, he's now switching to a top hat.'"

And Dale isn't the only one of Huss's characters — current or former — undergoing change. In the first season of the revival, it was revealed that Kahn and his wife Minh had secretly undergone a divorce, keeping up false pretenses to maintain an air of superiority. With the cat out of the bag, he spends Season 15 embracing his bachelor lifestyle, moving in with Bill. And, surprisingly, he gains a friendship and a fondness with the show's serial loner.

"That's really interesting," Huss says about the story. "But that old Kahn, when I'm reading [the scripts], sometimes I go, 'Oh, that Kahn turned out to be a kind of sad, lonely bastard. But he's gone through some stuff. The divorce, that's heavy. And you see Kahn here. He's doing his best. As is everybody in the show, which I always like. Everyone's trying to do their best in that show."

King of the Hill Season 15 is now out in its entirety on Hulu.

Legendary '90s pop singer Robbie Williams has announced two new shows for 2027.

The "Let Me Entertain You" hitmaker will be playing one-off shows in England and Ireland next year, his only two shows in the country as part of his BRITPOP World Tour.

On July 3, the Grammy-nominated singer will headline Lancashire's famed Lytham Festival, which celebrated its 15th anniversary this year. The announcement marks the earliest ever time that the festival has announced its headliner for the following year.

"What a huge start to 2027. Robbie Williams is music royalty and we cannot wait to welcome him to our fantastic Lytham Festival next summer. This is the first time we have announced an artist for the following year's festival so far in advance," said the festival's co-founder, Peter Taylor, in a statement. "The dust has barely settled on 2026 but it's such an exciting announcement that we don't want to wait any longer than is necessary."

A few days later, on July 6, Williams will be taking the stage at Thomond Park in Limerick, Ireland. It's the singer's first show in Ireland since 2025, where he played a sold-out concert at the 80,000-capacity Croke Park.

Presale tickets for the shows will be available starting July 22 at 10 A.M. BST, with the general sale starting on July 24 at 10 A.M. BST.

In January, Williams surprised fans by sharing his 13th studio album, BRITPOP, weeks before its official release date. The album marked a monumental moment for the BRIT-winning singer, who holds the most U.K. No. 1 albums as a solo artist.

Williams launched his solo career in 1996, a year after leaving the British boy band Take That. His debut solo album, Life Thru a Lens, was released on Sept. 29, 1997, climbing the charts and reaching No. 1 in Apr. 1998, following the success of his breakthrough hit, "Angels."

It sometimes takes a new outlook on a track for it to reach chart success, as Jeffrey Comanor's "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" became a standout hit about love covered by multiple artists.

Comanor wrote the track and was the first to release it in 1976 for his album A Rumor in His Own Time. While the soft rock track focused on a couple spending one magical night together, they wished would never end, the song and album failed to chart.

The inspiration behind "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" reportedly came from two pivotal moments in Comanor's love life. One stemmed from an ex-girlfriend who owned a wooden KLH radio that continued playing softly even after it was turned off. The other came from his next girlfriend, who was preparing to move away, leaving the two reluctant to see their final night together come to an end. Blending those memories, Comanor crafted the heartfelt lyrics that became "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again."

The track would reach a new level of visibility when it was discovered by Arista Records four months after it was released. They originally wanted to give the song to Melissa Manchester, who had recently released her hit track "Midnight Blue." Instead, the song was given to Danny Deardorff and Marcus Joseph, also known as Deardorff & Joseph.

They ended up releasing their cover of the track in 1977 and landed at No. 22 on the Easy Listening chart for two weeks, but did poorly on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It just so happens that Deardorff & Joseph would later disband, and "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" would be covered by two other music acts.

Deardorff's new manager, Marcia Day, also managed singerMaureen McGovern, who recorded a cover of "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" in 1978. Believing England Dan & John Ford Coley had no plans to record the song, Joseph's new manager, Susan Joseph—who also represented the soft rock duo—reportedly told Day that McGovern was free to release her version. However, England Dan & John Ford Coley ultimately recorded the track as well, and their rendition became the hit.

The soft rock duo covered the song that same year for their album Some Things Don't Come Easy. Their version of the track would become the most successful, having landed at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart for 14 weeks.

This Year's Star-Studded Blockbusters

Pulp had a special way to celebrate 50 years of Rough Trade as they headlined the historic orchestral concert.

The alternative rock band fronted by Jarvis Cocker, with longtime bandmates drummer Nick Banks, keyboardist Candida Doyle and guitarist Mark Webber, delivered a series of high-energy performances as they played fan-favorite tracks and the entire collection of their 2025 record More, their first album in 24 years.

The special event, held at London's Royal Festival Hall on Saturday, July 18, was a meaningful one for the Sheffield indie legends as Rough Trade had managed the band for more than 30 years.

Now, as Rough Trade celebrates its 50th anniversary, Pulp shared the stage with the Elysium Collective.

During the set, the '90s Britpop icons wowed fans with a 17-track set that began with "Spike Island," followed by "Tina." "Grown Ups" and "Slow Jam" were all from their eighth studio album as cited by NME.

Adding to the setlist was a cover of ABBA's "The Day Before You Came," but one of the night's biggest highlights was their performance of "Wickerman."

The track, which appeared on their 2001 album, We Love Life, featured an eight-minute spoken-word passage.

"Wickerman" was also inspired by the British cult horror filmThe Wicker Man, while also serving as a nod to "The Wicker," a notoriously gritty historic and commercial area in their hometown of Sheffield, England, according to Far Out Magazine.

Moreover, this was also the first time in nearly 15 years that Pulp performed the 2001 track live.

The last time they performed it was during a headlining concert at London's O2 Academy Brixton in September 2011, with "Wickerman" serving as the band's final song of their second encore.

While Pulp had been managed by the label for several decades, the legendary Britpop band officially signed with Rough Trade in 2024.

"Rough Trade have managed Pulp for over 30 years so it feels great to be finally on the label," the band mentioned in a statement, according to Pitchfork, adding "We did it!"

Following their comeback album in 2025, Pulp announced the release of their upcoming new album this year. 

In an Instagram post, the band announced the launch of their 18-track live album titled Live! schedule on Aug. 28, via Rough Trade Records which will be available on double black vinyl, 2CD set and digital.

For many people, savoring their morning cup of coffee or tea is the key to starting the day off on a good note. Most drip coffee makers even have a programmable timer that will get coffee brewing at a specific time. That way, you can wake up and go straight over to the pot to pour yourself a cup.

Starting the day with a cup or coffee or tea isn’t just enjoyable, it supports long-term health, too. Numerous scientific studies show that regularly drinking coffee or tea can help lower the risk of cancer.

For example, one scientific review published in the journal Medical Principles and Practice says that the polyphenols in coffee help protect against chronic inflammation, a driver of cancer. As for tea, a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute has a similar finding: The polyphenols in tea (researchers specifically looked at black tea) have anticarcinogenic properties. 

As long as you aren’t adding sugar to your coffee or tea, drinking it regularly supports your health. But there’s something that an oncologist wishes everyone would do before they take a sip of their coffee or tea in the morning. Skipping it could increase the risk of esophageal cancer.

The One Step To Take Before Sipping Your Coffee or Tea

PSA: Drinking super-hot coffee or tea could cause real damage to your esophagus. “Drinking beverages at scalding temperatures can irritate or injure the lining of the esophagus, which is the tube that carries food and liquids from the mouth to the stomach,” says Dr. Mark Ashamalla, MD, the chief of radiation oncology at Episcopal Health Services.

While one sip of hot coffee or tea isn’t problematic, Dr. Ashamalla says that repeatedly drinking beverages that are too hot can be dangerous. “When the esophagus is repeatedly exposed to very hot liquids, the heat can cause ongoing irritation, inflammation and cycles of injury and repair,” he explains. 

Over time, Dr. Ashamalla says that this type of thermal injury can contribute to changes in the cells lining the esophagus and has been associated with a higher risk of esophageal cancer, particularly esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, one of the main types of esophageal cancer.

How hot is too hot? Dr. Ashamalla says that the International Agency for Research on Cancer defines “very hot” beverages as those above 65°C, or 149°F, and classifies drinking very hot beverages as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”

Since you probably aren’t going to stick a thermometer in your mug before taking a sip, Dr. Ashamalla suggests taking a very small sip. If it burns your mouth or feels too painful to swallow, it’s too hot. “Letting coffee or tea cool for a few minutes before drinking it is an easy way to reduce risk,” he says.

While regularly drinking beverages that are too hot could increase the risk of esophageal cancer, cold beverages are in the clear. “Very cold drinks can sometimes trigger temporary discomfort, chest tightness or esophageal spasm in people with a sensitive esophagus or an underlying motility disorder. But cold beverages are not known to cause the same type of chronic thermal injury associated with very hot beverages,” Dr. Ashamalla says.

What Happens When the Esophageal Lining Is Damaged?

Let’s say that you damage your esophageal lining because you’ve been drinking scalding hot coffee or tea every day. How exactly can that impact your health? Dr. Ashamalla says that when the esophageal lining becomes inflamed, it’s called esophagitis.

“Esophagitis can cause symptoms such as burning, chest discomfort, pain with swallowing, difficulty swallowing or the feeling that food is getting stuck. If the injury is ongoing, it can sometimes lead to ulcers, bleeding, scarring or narrowing of the esophagus, which is called a stricture,” he says. 

Symptoms like these are key signs that you have esophagitis and you should see a healthcare provider, ideally, a gastroenterologist. Dr. Ashamalla explains that treatment depends on the individual and the exact causes of their esophagitis. For some people, acid-suppressing medications, such as proton pump inhibitors or H2 blockers, may be helpful.

When left untreated, Dr. Ashamalla says that chronic irritation can create an environment where cells are repeatedly injured and replaced. Over time, that repeated cycle of injury and repair is one of the ways cancer risk may increase.

Other Ways the Esophagus Can Become Damaged

Drinking scalding hot beverages isn’t the only way the esophagus can become inflamed and increase the risk of esophageal cancer. “Alcohol and tobacco are also major risk factors for esophageal cancer, especially when used together,” Dr. Ashamalla says.

Untreated gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can also negatively impact the esophagus. “GERD occurs when stomach acid repeatedly backs up into the esophagus, causing chronic irritation. Over time, reflux can lead to esophagitis, ulcers, strictures and Barrett’s esophagus,” Dr. Ashamalla says. 

Dr. Ashamalla explains that Barrett’s esophagus is a condition in which the lining of the lower esophagus changes because of chronic acid exposure. “Barrett’s does not mean someone has cancer, but it does increase the risk of esophageal adenocarcinoma and may require monitoring,” he says.

Symptoms of GERD include heartburn, backwash of food or liquid in the throat, upper belly or chest pain, trouble swallowing and feeling like you have a lump in your throat. If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms regularly, it’s important to see a gastroenterologist.

The major takeaway is simple: Let your coffee or tea cool down for a few minutes before you take a sip. That way, you’ll reap all its health benefits without damaging your esophagus in the process.

Jay & Pamela stars Jay Manuel and Pamela Chavez are married and considering starting a family. But will practicing parenting with a robot baby change their minds?

Ahead of the July 21 episode, TLC shared an exclusive sneak peek of the experiment with Parade.

Jay and Pamela—who were born with osteogenesis imperfecta Type 3, a rare genetic condition characterized by extreme bone fragility and frequent fractures—had been discussing starting a family. Although Pamela was hesitant to even consider the possibility at first because of her own broken family relationships, she eventually became more open to the idea of motherhood.

In the exclusive clip, Pamela explained that the robot baby came with keys for its different needs. Jay listed them off: burping, diaper change, attention, feed, and panic.

"Also, the baby can detect movement," Pamela noted. "And you also have to go through the physical motions. So if it's burping, not only do you insert the burping key, but you, you know, actually try to burp the baby."

As the couple struggled to determine why the baby was crying, Jay asked, "How long does she cry?" To that, Pamela said, "Until we figure it out."

She then admitted to producers, "I'm getting worried because I don't know what it needs," to which Jay quipped, "To be turned off."

The tension was palpable as they continued to care for the robot baby. "Babe, why are you choking it like that?" Jay exclaimed as Pamela supported the baby's head. "I'm fine! I'm protecting its neck!"

At another point, Jay told her, "Babe, this is what the keys are for. What are we doing?"

"OK, you think you know it all? Go ahead," Pamela shot back.

In a confessional with producers, she added, "I don't know which is more annoying, the baby crying nonstop, or Jay micromanaging everything that I'm doing when, growing up, I had two little brothers. So I do have a lot more experience than him."

As Jay attempted to change the robot baby's diaper, he grew frustrated by Pamela holding its feet in the air. She explained, "Because they can kick their own poop, and now you got to clean their toes. Trust me!"

Jay pointed out to producers, "Pamela over here, flipping it around and turning it up, inside out like it's pancakes. If this baby had OI, this poor little baby would have had three, four broken bones by now.

Ultimately, what the robot baby needed was a diaper change, as it cooed contentedly afterward—but then immediately started crying again.

"It's gonna be a long night," Jay concluded.

One of Hollywood's cult classic psychological thrillers, Cape Fear, was a box office success that actor Juliette Lewis never expected, and she recalls her one regret from having done the film.

Martin Scorsese based the iconic film on the 1957 novel The Executioners by John D. MacDonald, and had Robert DeNiro lead in the role of convicted rapist Max Cady. Out of jail, he seeks revenge against his public defender, Sam Bowden (Nick Nolte), and his family. Lewis starred in the film as the Bowdens' teenage daughter Danielle, alongside Jessica Lange as the family matriarch.

Thirty-five years later, Lewis looks back at the film's success and lasting legacy as she returns for a supporting role in Apple TV's limited series. She admits that her biggest regret from Cape Fear was not knowing how important it was going to be.

“I didn’t know I was part of something historical that would be so meaningful for my life, so I didn’t even keep my Cape Fear script. Can you believe this?” said Lewis to People. “I had no idea. Anyway, I’ve thought about this many times in my life. ... I didn’t know what it meant. You know what I mean? [At that age] you don’t even think past next week.”

Lewis was only 17 years old when Cape Fear was filmed and had just started her acting career. Her role landed Lewis her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She previously appeared in the 1989 classic National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and explains that she often holds on to “experience and the memories” of her time on set.

She admits that, decades after the original film, she never expected to return to the storyline in the new limited series starring Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson. The actor sees the psychological thriller storyline as "timeless" and its themes of vengeance "as old as time." What made her return? The "complicated, messy, troubled character" that showrunner Nick Antosca created.

“I always like to create really visceral characters that you could almost smell through the screen,” said Lewis. “You can almost smell her trashy perfume.”

In the Cape Fear series, Lewis plays the role of Crystal Cady, Max Cady's (Bardem) mentally unstable half-sister. She plays a role in the cat-and-mouse chase between Anna Bowden (Adams) and Max. The series showrunner wanted Lewis to be more than a throwback cameo and have her character be "meaningful" to the plot.

When it comes to how Lewis has changed since the original film, she admits she's "more lighthearted" and "more serious about my peace of mind and my joyful outlook." Compared to her younger years, she doesn't "play with darkness" in her life.

"Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" was originally recorded by singer-songwriter Moon Martin in 1978. However, it gained popularity when it was covered by Robert Palmer a year later, in 1979.

"Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" became one of Palmer’s most well-known hits. Although it never reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, it climbed all the way to No. 14. The song was nominated for a Grammy for the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1980, but it lost out to “Gotta Serve Somebody” by Bob Dylan.

During an interview with Martin, he discussed what it was like to discover that Palmer was covering his song. He said, “At that time, it was very difficult for a rock record to do well. Even Pat Benatar was having trouble cracking the Top 20. Some people were saying that ‘Bad Case Of Loving You’ is the song that brought rock back to the charts.”

Martin continued, “How Robert came about recording the song was that Robert told me he was going to do a show, and he was being driven to the show by a program guy, and the program guy asked him if he had heard this new Moon Martin record and played him ‘Bad Case Of Loving You’ and Robert, later, put it in his set. That was back when people took chances. These days, the shows are so organized and rehearsed that they have a set list and don't deviate from the list.”

Martin went on to explain that Palmer became a big fan of his and said, “At one time, he was doing 3 or 4 songs of mine in his set.” Martin was known for his songs “Rolene,” “Cadillac Walk,” and “Signal for Help.”

Palmer, meanwhile, is known for his hit songs “Addicted to Love,” “Simply Irresistible,” and "Every Kinda People.” He won two Grammy awards for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance and an MTV Video Music Award.

Palmer died in 2003 at the age of 54.

Iconic Italian tenor and celebrated, award-winning artist Andrea Bocelli has a thrilling new announcement for fans, and those who have been following his career since the '90s won't want to miss it.

Following the news of his "Romanza – 30th Anniversary World Tour," Bocelli is releasing two new deluxe edition collector sets. The first is the 30th anniversary edition of his Romanza album, a platinum and diamond album that has sold nearly 20 million copies worldwide and remains the best-selling Italian language album of all time.

In fact, since 1997, this album has held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard World Albums chart for a jaw-dropping 51 weeks total. Overall, it has spent 101 weeks on the chart. This new edition of the record-breaking album will be available on Sept. 25, and the deluxe package will include gold-colored vinyl, never-before-seen photographs from the album's recording sessions, a signed lithograph by Bocelli and a coffee table book featuring notes by journalist Craig McLean.

Harry Styles has canceled his July 21 concert on his Together Together tour in São Paulo, Brazil.

Live Nation Brazil shared the news, posting a statement on X in which they said that the pop star will not perform due to a health issue.

"We deeply regret to inform you that the Harry Styles show scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at MorumBIS has been canceled due to a health issue on the tour," the statement read. "Tickets for this show will be refunded through the same purchase channel. An email with more information will be sent by @ticketmasterbr to all ticket holders."

His planned Friday, July 24, show is set to go as scheduled.

"The Friday show, July 24, 2026, will take place as scheduled. Ticket holders for the Tuesday show (July 21) will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive batch of tickets for the Friday show (July 24), while supplies last," Live Nation Brazil added. "We have worked with the event venue to release as many tickets as possible for the Friday show, but please keep in mind that availability is extremely limited."

Many in the comments expressed outrage over the cancellation.

"Are you going to overcrowd the stadium on Friday? They should postpone tonight's show; the setup will be all ready. It's a tremendous disrespect to everyone who was ready for tonight's show. Being notified just a few hours beforehand," one person wrote.

"It's outrageous not to have rescheduling for the date; it doesn't take into account people coming from other states—the expenses go way beyond just the ticket," another person stated.

Following his show in Brazil, Styles will head to Mexico City for six shows, followed by his 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden from August 26th until October 31st. He is then set to end the year in Australia with performances in Melbourne and Sydney.

Paul Simon wrote "The Sound of Silence" in 1964 as a young man talking to himself in the dark. It was only the sixth song he'd ever written. It only sold approximately 2,000 copies on first release and almost disappeared entirely. Sixty years later, it's all over TikTok, Gen Z is calling it "the sound of 2026," and Art Garfunkel has admitted it had "more melodic, genius, simple power" than he ever realized. But before any of that, Paul Simon was pretending to be a mouse.

Before Simon and Garfunkel, there was Tom and Jerry. Just two teenagers from Queens. Paul Simon was performing as Jerry Landis. Art Garfunkel was Tom Graph. Their job was close-harmony covers of Everly Brotherssongs and Sam Cooke's "You Send Me." Nobody was writing Dylan-level material. The distance between those covers and "The Sound of Silence" is one of the most extraordinary creative leaps in American music. Simon made that leap on his sixth try.

That's not a figure of speech. It was literally the sixth song he'd ever written.

Not his sixth great song. His sixth song. The five songs before it are mostly forgotten. The sixth one's been playing continuously for 60 years.

Simon was 21. He wrote the melody in a bathroom with the faucet running because he liked the sound of water at night. The lyrics are closer to poetry than anything else on the radio in 1964. He trusted listeners to sit with the same uncertainties he couldn't resolve rather than handing them easy answers. He wasn't claiming to have answers. He was admitting he didn't. Simon later told NPR: "The key to The Sound Of Silence is the simplicity of the melody and the words, which are youthful alienation. It's a young lyric, but not bad for a 21-year-old."

When the original acoustic version came out in October 1964, it sold approximately 2,000 copies. Beatlemania had swept America. Simon was discouraged. He moved to England. Garfunkel went back to college. The song sat in a Columbia Records vault, largely unheard.

Then producer Tom Wilson, without telling either of them, added electric guitars and drums and rereleased it in September 1965. Wilson had just produced Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone." He heard something in "The Sound of Silence" that its own authors had walked away from. On January 1, 1966, it reached No. 1.

The sixth song Paul Simon ever wrote almost never became the most famous thing he'd ever make.

Sixty Years Later, a New Generation Found the Darkness

In 2026, "The Sound of Silence" is celebrating its 60th anniversary as a No. 1 hit. Gen Z playlists are placing it between Billie Eilish and Noah Kahan. One observation circulating widely: "Simon and Garfunkel write like they were subtweeting 2026; they just didn't know it yet."

Art Garfunkel first heard the song in a roach-infested apartment on Amsterdam Avenue. Simon came over and played his latest songs. When he got to this one, Garfunkel said: "Best one yet." Decades later, he told MusicRadar: "Sound Of Silence has more melodic, genius, simple power than I ever realized. It was the sixth song Paul ever wrote."

Paul Simon wrote five songs before he wrote "The Sound of Silence." We don't know what those five songs were. We know what the sixth one was.

The darkness, it turns out, has excellent acoustics.
