Death Angel, a heavy thrash metal band, is celebrating a major milestone in their music career.
The Filipino-American band, known for their infectious, high-octane sound, announced the 10th anniversary of their eighth studio album.
In an Instagram post, the five-piece group is commemorating the release of The Evil Divide by unveiling a special vinyl edition of the album.
Death Angel not only delivered a surprising announcement but also gave fans a special treat by adding a bonus song.
“TODAY is the 10th Anniversary of The Evil Divide. The Evil Divide is BACK ON VINYL with a 10th anniversary edition. The new 2LP and digital versions include bonus cover-track “Wasteland” (original by The Mission UK). Ted Aguilar of the American thrash metal band Death Angel performs in concert during Resurrection Fest on June 26, 2025 in Viveiro, Spain. The release is scheduled to arrive on July 24 under Nuclear Blast Records.
The thrash metal band from Daly City, California, disbanded in 1991 following a bus crash accident in Arizona in 1990.
View this post on InstagramDue to the severity of the incident, drummer Andy Galeon needed more time to recover. This led to the band’s temporary hiatus, compounded by their personal issues.
Ten years later, the band officially reunited at the benefit concert Thrash of the Titans for Testament’s Chuck Billy.
The crowd’s overwhelming response pushed the band to reunite permanently and tour together again.
"At that point, we again, we were trying to take that innocent approach, where we weren't trying to do anything," guitarist Rob Cavestany told Sebastiano Mereu of From Hero To Zero. "We were playing together; we weren't even intending to last very long. We just thought we would do a tour or something, like a reunion tour and leave it at that. We started writing music little by little, just naturally, then Nuclear Blast came along and started to tell us, 'Let's do it. Come alive again and make music.' Little by little, we got the idea we should jump back in. So, we signed to Nuclear Blast, and there began this era of the band, or at least the next era of the band."
Currently, Death Angel is on its U.S. spring tour, which kicked off on May 1 and will conclude on June 21. The band is performing in major cities in Arizona, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Florida and more along with special guests Vio-lence and Incite on selected dates.

1973 Love Song, Written While in High School, Became Rocker's Biggest Hit
Before he became one of rock music’s most inventive hitmakers, he was just a teenager writing songs inspired by his young love.
Long before "Hello, It’s Me" became a Top 5 hit in 1973, the now-classic ballad was actually the first song Todd Rundgren ever wrote, while still in high school.
Speaking in a recent interview, Rundgren reflected on the origins of the song, revealing that the track stemmed from an early romance and eventually became what he jokingly calls his "albatross," as fans still request it decades later.
"It's the very first song I wrote. You know, I had a band called the Nazz, and we were just doing cover songs of everybody, and realized it couldn't, you know, we would have no future unless we started writing our own material," Rundgren said during a recent interview with Professor of Rock. "I sat down to write the song and instead of writing a song for the guitar, bass, and drums and lead singer — you know, we thought we were The Who — I came up with this sappy ballad."
He went on to say that the song, which was written for the girl he dated in high school, became the "only radio hit that Nazz ever had," even though he had already quit the band by the time it found success.
Rundgren would later re-release the hit on his 1972 solo album Something/Anything?.
"Hello, It's Me" went on to peak at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Decades later, the song experienced a resurgence when it was featured in the pilot episode of That '70s Show in 1997.
'The Pitt' Season 2 Breakout Star Sepideh Moafi Speaks Out Following Noah Wyle Feud Rumors
The Pitt newcomer Sepideh Moafi has broken her silence on a rumor running rife throughout the fandom surrounding her relationship with star Noah Wyle.
The Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center's newest attending spoke with Variety in a new interview, where she shut down the fan theory that she and Wyle were feuding behind the scenes of the hit HBO series. Some viewers believed the imaginary tension contributed to Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi’s negative personal arc, where she suffered multiple absence seizures throughout her first shift in the emergency room and left Wyle's Dr. Robby lacking in faith that she could handle her position as his interim replacement while he ventured off on his motorcycle adventure.
But Moafi didn't mince words as she addressed the speculation, telling the publication, “Absolutely not.”
She and Wyle are "really great colleagues," she continued, crediting their "great working relationship" with making it easy to film the more difficult scenes in the final episode. "...it actually felt safe to do the darker, dirtier work in episode 15, particularly because, between setups, we were shooting the s--t and laughing," she explained, reiterating that the rumors of a "personal beef or rivalry" are "completely false"—at least from her end.

"You can check with Noah," she quipped.
But even if Wyle does have a difference of opinion, it hasn't affected Moafi's hirability, as the actress has also confirmed she'd be back in the emergency room for Season 3—though, of course, there aren't yet any details about her role on the next shift.
The rumors reportedly stem from TikTok, with fans debating their validity in the comments of a post from the publication on X, lamenting how "'fan made stuff' has like 500k views...and people treat it as a fact."
"People love creating drama where there is none," someone else chastised, while several others hoped the response would inspire those generating the rumors to learn to "make a distinction between the characters...and the actors" and "shut up."

The actress said she was drinking a lot during that time and wanted to change. "And a friend gave me a really good book and it was like a self-help book and I started reading the book and I liked it," she said. "So I went to the store ... and I'd grab another book and I'd start sitting there and I just thought, 'I got to get away from him because what good is going to come out of this,' you know?"
The actress revealed she had unwanted attention for the high-profile relationship. Her "craziest" fan worked in the firearm department of her show's production company. He wrote a note to her declaring she was his wife and planned to kill her for marrying Rodman. The man was arrested, and her security was alerted when he was released.
Electra isn't publicly in a new relationship, and wouldn't repeat her past decisions. She said at the end of the interview that she would tell her daughter to "drop that zero" if she brought home a man like Rodman.

Team Red and Team Blue were each tasked with providing the kids with a protein and two sides. The red team chose to make a fried chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and sliced apples with caramel. The blue team made smash burgers, chips, orzo, and lemon cookies.
When the votes were counted, the kids voted for the Red Team as their favorite food, which meant that Dave was awarded the Immunity Pin.
“I am shocked,” Dave said. “But even though things went very badly at some points during the cook, everyone stepped up and we got the job done.”

The three Blue Team members that Gordon put into the bottom three were Ted, Nico and Daniel. Despite the fact that Nico and Daniel caused the blue team’s grill to catch on fire, the judges sent home Ted, who as the coach was responsible for the lack of organization and control on his team.
“It’s alright guys,” Ted said. “I was the captain and I didn’t pull it together. It hurts being eliminated. I feel like I let my team down. I just didn’t come through as the captain.”

The record, which was initially released on August 10, 1979, is currently sitting at the No. 120 spot of the Billboard 200 chart, a list that ranks the best-performing albums in the music industry. Off the Wall is currently one of six Jackson albums back on the chart, marking a definitive resurgence of the iconic star's music and reaffirming his unique ability to create enduring hits.
Off the Wall is enjoying a strong multi-week stay on the Billboard 200, having reentered the chart on May 16 for the first time since late 2009 following Jackson's tragic death. The album's new milestone adds to its over 120 weeks of total charting time across various Billboard metrics. Its highest historical charting position was achieved in 1980, when the record peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
Michael Jackson performs during the 'Bad' tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 3, 1988.Off the Wall served as Jackson's fifth studio album and marked his first official collaboration with the iconic producer Quincy Jones, who would also go on to produce his record-shattering smash Thriller. The album marked the singer's first major solo breakthrough outside of his family's band, The Jackson 5 and produced two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and "Rock with You." Two other songs from the tracklist also secured spots within the top ten, with "Off the Wall" and "She's Out of My Life" both peaking at No. 10.
Almost five decades after its initial release, Off the Wall continues to resonate with new listeners through the digital era. On Spotify alone, the album has accumulated over 2.2 billion collective streams, affirming its status as one of the greatest albums of all time.
The Michael MovieThe sudden mainstream rediscovery of Jackson's discography is the direct result to his recent blockbuster biopic, Michael. The film premiered domestically on April 24 and has already grossed over $795.1 million worldwide.
Michael is a two-hour film that retells the first 30 years of Jackson's life, covering his childhood with the Jackson 5 through his 1987 career peak during the Bad album era. The biopic has deeply resonated with audiences, exploring Jackson's tumultuous relationship with his abusive father and showcasing high-definition performance reenactments that leave viewers entranced by his effortless stage presence. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has earned an impressive 97% audience score, attesting to the film's profound connection with its viewers.
Since the movie's release, the public has been sent into a Jackson-fever of sorts, with many young people taking to streaming platforms to explore his catalog while older generations relish in the current Jackson renaissance. Due to this reignited public fascination with the King of Pop, Jackson has experienced a 116% surge in monthly streams across several different platforms.

'90s Country Classic Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 29 Years Later
Nearly 30 years after its original release, The Greatest Hits Collection by Brooks & Dunn is suddenly climbing the charts again.
The iconic compilation album is steadily rising on the Billboard 200, introducing a new generation of listeners to one of the most successful country duos of the 1990s. The album currently holds the No. 140 spot, up five positions from last week.
Originally released in 1997, The Greatest Hits Collection gathered many of Brooks & Dunn’s biggest songs from the decade when the duo dominated country radio and helped redefine mainstream country music.
The album includes signature hits like "Boot Scootin" Boogie," "My Maria," "Neon Moon" and "Brand New Man," tracks that became essential parts of the country music boom of the 1990s. At the time, the duo stood out for blending traditional honky-tonk influences with arena-sized production and rock-inspired energy.
Consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, Brooks & Dunn became one of the most commercially successful acts in country music history, scoring dozens of chart-topping hits and helping bring country music to larger mainstream audiences.
"Ronnie and I are both at a point in our career where you have to be careful with how much you expect for radio to play," Brooks told Music Row. "We've had our run at radio and there are a lot of great new artists who are getting their shot now. That's the way of the world and at some point you have to find joy in the success you've had and find a new place as a performer and artist you have to accept time marches on. Just like we did, new artists are going to take a shot and there’s gotta be room for them."
Still, The Greatest Hits Collection continues to climb the Billboard 200 chart.
Part of the album's current resurgence appears tied to the continued popularity of nostalgic country playlists and streaming rediscovery among younger listeners. Songs like "Neon Moon" in particular have developed a massive second life on social media platforms including TikTok, where emotional country ballads and nostalgic 1990s aesthetics continue resonating with younger audiences.
The duo has also experienced renewed visibility in recent years through touring, collaborations and their successful Reboot projects featuring modern country artists revisiting classic Brooks & Dunn songs. As a result, The Greatest Hits Collection has remained remarkably durable long after its original release.
For many longtime fans, the album represents a defining era of country music when Brooks & Dunn helped shape the sound of modern country radio.
"The songs, that's what's important," Dunn told Billboard in 2019. "People would ask us in the early days, 'What do you want at the end of the line?' We just want to create music that withstands the challenge of time."
Now, nearly three decades later, the collection is proving its appeal hasn't faded, continuing to climb the charts as both longtime fans and first-time listeners rediscover one of country music's most influential catalogs.

1971 Classic Hit, Featuring Iconic Flute Solo, Ranked Among Best Progressive Rock Songs of All Time
The '70s were a pretty great decade for amazing guitar solos, obviously: With legends like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix and Brian May at the heights of their careers, how could it not have been? But guitars weren't the only instrument to make an impression in those days; in fact, one of the most iconic albums of the '70s — especially its title track — prove a flute can rock just as hard as an axe.
Released in 1971, Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" isn't just unique because of frontman Ian Anderson's prominently featured flute skills. The lyrics, which deal with themes including homelessness, aren't exactly typical rock and roll fare, either:
Sun streaking cold
An old man wandering lonely
Taking time the only way he knows
Leg hurting bad
as he bends to pick a dog-end
He goes down to the bog and warms his feet
As Anderson explained in a 1999 interview with Guitar World, Aqualung wasn't originally meant to be a concept album, "although a lot of people thought so."
"The idea came about from a photograph my wife at the time took of a tramp in London," Anderson said. "I had feelings of guilt about the homeless, as well as fear and insecurity with people like that who seem a little scary. And I suppose all of that was combined with a slightly romanticized picture of the person who is homeless but yet a free spirit, who either won't or can't join in society's prescribed formats."
"So from that photograph and those sentiments, I began writing the words to 'Aqualung,'" he continued. "I can remember sitting in a hotel room in L.A., working out the chord structure for the verses. It's quite a tortured tangle of chords, but it was meant to really drag you here and there and then set you down into the more gentle acoustic section of the song."

"Aqualung" was never released as a single, because it was "too episodic," as Anderson told Songfacts. But the album became Jethro Tull's first top 10 album in the U.S., and the title track remains one of the band's most famous songs to this day. Goldmine ranked the song #8 on a list of "Top 20 Unlikely Progressive Rock Hits," with music critic Martin Popoff calling it the "proggiest" of Jethro Tull's signature tracks and praising it as "mischievously heavy" and "regal."
Over 50 years after it was released, "Aqualung" is also Jethro Tull's most popular song on Spotify, with over 120 million streams.

2014 Hit Film Was Just Ranked the Most Perfect Sci-Fi Film of the 21st Century
Science fiction is one of the most enduring and beloved genres in film, specifically within the past 26 years. Colliderrecently highlighted some of the most popular and acclaimed sci-fimovies released after 2000 by publishing a list of eight "21st-century sci-fi movies that are 10/10, no notes."
The ranking, published on May 26, included movies like Arrival from 2016, 2017's Blade Runner 2049, and Annihilation, released in 2018. According to Collider, the 2014 film Edge of Tomorrow, starringEmily Blunt and Tom Cruise, is the most perfect sci-fi movie released after 2000. The publication complimented the Doug Liman-directed film for its solid, exhilarating script and interesting character dynamics.
Edge of Tomorrow has a score of 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 71 on Metacritic.
Tom Cruise Shared What He Appreciated About 'Edge of Tomorrow'In a 2014 interview promoting Edge of Tomorrow, alongside Blunt, who plays Sergeant Rita Vrataski, Cruise shared why he was drawn to the script, adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka's 2004 book, All You Need Is Kill. He explained that he believed the film is "adventurous [and] moving," with plenty of humorous moments. In addition, he enjoyed playing his Edge of Tomorrow character Major William Cage, who wasn't all that battle-ready at the start of the movie.
"I found it very, very funny, you know, first of all playing this unlikely hero, this guy who not in a million years would he ever see himself on that beach. It's just not in his fabric as a human being to be there," said Cruise during the interview.
Cruise also said he liked Cage and Vrataski's repetitive, time-loop "training sequences" in the film, which he compared to a Looney Tunes cartoon.
"I thought, 'Oh, this is going to be so much fun because we're coming up with how many different ways this guy can die or get injured,'" said Cruise. "We kept working on it, and I was finally like, 'Look, this is Wile E. Coyote, you know, this is Bugs Bunny.'"

Gwyneth Paltrow Opens up About Being an Empty Nester, ‘It’s Really Hard’
Gwyneth Paltrow is getting real about being an empty nester. The mom of two, who shares daughter AppleMartin (born in 2004) and son MosesMartin (born in 2006) with ex-husband Coldplay musician ChrisMartin, recently opened up to Today’sSavannahGuthrie about what life has been like lately.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - DECEMBER 16: (L-R) Apple Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow and Moses Martin attend A24's "Marty Supreme" New York Premiere on December 16, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images) Who Are Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kids?Paltrow’s eldest child, daughter Apple, is taking after her mom. Like her famous family members (her grandparents are iconic actress Blythe Danner and legendary director/producer Bruce Paltrow), Apple is also an actor.
The 22-year-old graduated from Vanderbilt University in May 2026 with a degree in Law, History, and Society. But it looks like her first post-college job will be a bit different than most recent grads. Apple will co-star in Nancy Meyers’ upcoming film along with Penelope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, and Owen Wilson.
While Apple is following in mom’s footsteps, her brother, 20-year-old Moses, was bitten by the music bug—like his dad. Moses, who is a student at Brown University, just signed with Interscope Records (with his band People I’ve Met).
What Did Gwyneth Paltrow Say About Being an Empty Nester? While talking to Guthrie, Paltrow explained, “I put acting on the back burner largely because I was a single mom and I was raising, you know, two kids and a lot of times doing a film can take you away from home for weeks or months at a time and hours are not that friendly for taking someone to school or picking them up. So I kind of put it on the back burner, and I was focusing on my business. And then everybody abandoned me and went to college.”
Guthrie then asked the actress and Goop founder, “What is it like being an empty nester?” Paltrow revealed, “She (Apple) just graduated two weeks ago, and my stepdaughter graduated last weekend…They’re kind of off to the races. You know, it’s really hard. I really struggled when they all went, and then I thought ‘Okay, I’m good’, and then in September again I kind of fell off a cliff for the second time.”
The mom of two continued, “Now I feel like, you know, it’s what you want to happen. It’s what you hope will happen, that they go off to their next phase of life and they find their people. But it’s hard as a mother. It’s like you have to reorient, you know. Because you’re so focused on the kids and their schedules and their emotional health.”
So what will Paltrow do now that she’s an empty nester? It looks like her schedule is pretty full. Along with Goop, Gwyneth’s acting career is going strong. Last year, she starred in the Academy Award-nominated film Marty Supreme with Timothee Chalamet!
1983 One-Hit Wonder Ranked Among 'Best Inspirational Songs of All Time' Climbed the Charts Again 14 Years Later
What makes a one-hit wonder the kind of song that sticks around for decades? In the case of Matthew Wilder's 1983 Top 5 hit, "Break My Stride," it was a combination of the tune's unbelievably catchy melody, super positive lyrics, and the fact that it made an unexpected return to the charts over a decade later.
Wilder was only 19 when he got his first record contract, though he wouldn't have his first (and last) major hit until roughly 10 years later, when "Break My Stride" made a huge splash. As the musician told Bruce Pollock of Songfacts, his road to success with the song was a bumpy one.
"I was one of two artists from this production company in L.A. that Clive Davis signed to Arista Records in 1981 or '82," Wilder explained. "Clive set up a very competitive environment between the other artist and myself where he told us, one artist is going to get the album deal and one artist is going to get the singles deal. So I drew the short straw where he felt that I needed to prove myself on the basis of singles."
As time passed, "Davis wasn't getting the results he wanted and I wasn't getting results I wanted," Wilder continued. "So, in the 11th hour of my relationship with Clive and the label, the production company and I went in on the graveyard shift to Spencer Proffer's studio on Melrose. Spencer Proffer had discovered Quiet Riot. So we went in in the wee hours of the morning and recorded 'Break My Stride' on our own dime."
According to Wilder, his frustrating relationship with Davis was the "impetus" for the song's lyrics:
Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride
Nobody gonna slow me down, oh no
I got to keep on moving
Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride
I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh no, I got to keep on moving
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Davis didn't think "Break My Stride" was a hit, which was the straw that broke the camel's back for Wilder. After he was let go by the label, Wilder signed with Private-I Records, and "Break My Stride" — the first single from his debut album, I Don't Speak the Language — blew up before the album was even released.
View this post on InstagramWilder went on to have a successful career, though not as a rock star; he produced No Doubt's third album, Tragic Kingdom, and was nominated for an Academy Award for writing the score to Mulan, among other things. Still, "Break My Stride" remains his cultural "touchstone," as he put it. In 2025, Time Out New York ranked the track among the "Best Inspirational Songs of All Time," praising it as a "simple earworm about the urge to continue moving forward no matter the obstacle."
"Break My Stride" even made a return to the charts over a decade later. In 1997, Puff Daddy's "Can't Hold Me Down" (which used an interpolation of "Break My Stride" for the chorus), went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Iconic ’90s Singer Announced as Special Guest for 2026 Tour
Fans of classic pop music are getting a major surprise this fall. Hitmaker Taylor Dayne announced that she will join Roxette as a special guest on the band’s 2026 North American anniversary tour.
The tour celebrates 40 years since Roxette released its debut album, Pearls of Passion, in 1986. The North American run begins on Sept. 10 in Clarkston, Michigan, and wraps up on Oct. 9 in Auburn, Washington. Taylor Dayne and Nick Lowe with Los Straitjackets will appear as special guests during the tour.
Dayne shared the news directly with fans on Instagram, saying, “ I’m joining the Roxette 40th Anniversary Tour this fall and I cannot wait to see all of your beautiful faces out there. I really hope you’ll join me and come ready to party!”

The singer listed several stops for the tour, including Toronto, Philadelphia, Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix and Montreal.
View this post on InstagramRoxette confirmed the 2026 North American dates as part of the group’s worldwide anniversary celebration. The Swedish pop act was founded by Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson. Fredriksson died in 2019, but the group returned to the stage with Swedish singer Lena Philipsson handling lead vocals alongside Gessle.
The band’s North American schedule includes 14 cities across the United States and Canada. Fans can expect performances of Roxette’s biggest songs, including “The Look,” “Listen to Your Heart,” “Joyride” and “It Must Have Been Love.”
Before the North American shows begin, Roxette will perform across Europe during the summer. Several presales are planned ahead of the public ticket release. General ticket sales officially begin Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
Taylor Dayne became one of the biggest pop stars of the late 1980s and early 1990s after releasing her breakout hit “Tell It to My Heart” in 1987. The song became a worldwide success and helped launch a long run of chart hits.
Her first two albums, Tell It to My Heart and Can’t Fight Fate, were both certified double platinum by the RIAA. During her career, Dayne earned seven Top 10 singles in the United States, including “Love Will Lead You Back,” “Prove Your Love,” “I’ll Always Love You” and “I’ll Be Your Shelter.”
The singer has sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide and received two Grammy Award nominations.
In recent years, Dayne has continued touring and performing live. Earlier this year, fans reacted to backstage photos from one of her concerts that showed the singer wearing a black bodysuit with gold details and knee-high boots.
View this post on InstagramThe performer has also spoken openly about personal struggles, including the death of her father and her colon cancer diagnosis in 2022. After surgery and treatment, Dayne said she gained a stronger appreciation for life and performing.
“I’m so much more present, and I’m so much more vulnerable now,” she said in an interview with People.
“I went through hell and back, but it's not the first hell. Probably not gonna be the last. But, I'm saying to you, I hold my hands on my heart, I look at my audience, and then I go for it. I go for the guts. That's me. That's what you're gonna see onstage.”

7 'Secret Menu' Items at Olive Garden Even Regulars Don't Know About
If you regularly eat at Olive Garden, you probably already have your go-to order, whether that's the Tour of Italy for a little bit of everything, the Lasagna Classico for a hearty and savory bite, or the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks.
But did you know there's a whole world of possibilities beyond the restaurant chain's standard menu if you know what to order? If Olive Garden has started to feel a bit boring, there's plenty of room to explore to create your new favorite dish.
😋😋SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter🍳🍔
From classic Italian drinks to entrée mashups and ultra saucy pasta, these Olive Garden secret menu items aren't very well known even to regulars, but they're repeat orders for many. If Olive Garden has the ingredient, whether that's for a food or drink, the restaurant can most likely make it for you.
Olive Garden's kitchen is full of different bases, proteins and sauces, and the dishes are highly customizable too. Swap marinara for meat sauce for your breadsticks, drizzle raspberry sauce on your zeppoles, add a splash of Zuppa Toscana to your minestrone and so much more.
When you're tired of the same old menu, these seven secret menu options at Olive Garden can make your next lunch or dinner order way better than usual.
7 Secret Menu Options at Olive GardenReady to upgrade your dining experience? Here are seven secret menu options at Olive Garden you need to know about.
1. Swap Pasta for VeggiesFor many people, Olive Garden is all about indulgence in comfort food. You have the extra creamy sauces, soft breadsticks and delectable noodles. Sometimes, though, you may want the same rich flavor without the heavy carbs.
Some Olive Garden diners don't realize that you can ask for vegetables instead of pasta. If you like the protein and sauce of one dish, you can just add your favorite veggie to offset some of the carbs if you prefer. Saucy, cheesy broccoli? Yes, please.
2. Extra Saucy PastaHave you ever felt like your pasta could've used just a little (or a lot) more sauce? Well, you're in luck because you can easily order extra sauce on any pasta dish to completely smother your meal.
Instead of a light coating, every inch of your protein, veggies and pasta can be swimming in Alfredo, traditional marinara or creamy mushroom sauce. It is the ultimate hack for heavy-handed sauce lovers who want every single bite to be as rich and flavorful as possible.

3. Italian SodaPhoto by VICHAILAO on Getty Images
You won't find this refreshing drink option on the official menu, but it's incredibly easy to order. Start by asking your server what flavored syrups they have on hand (options vary by location and season).
Then, just ask for them to add an ounce or two ounces of syrup to a club soda, and maybe a splash of Sprite or your favorite soda.
You can even add a splash of half-and-half or a dollop of whipped cream to give the drink a rich, creamy layer. Top it off with a cherry or a lime wedge, and you'll be instantly transported to a sunny café in Rome.
4. Chicken Parmesan AlfredoFettuccini Alfredo is great and all, but have you ever tried it with a crispy breaded chicken cutlet? Just ask your server to swap the usual grilled chicken for the fried chicken used in the Chicken Parmesan dish without the tomato sauce or cheese.
The best part about this trick is that you can substitute almost any protein on the menu. If you aren't craving breaded chicken, throw some juicy shrimp into your Alfredo, or add sliced Italian sausage for a savory, spicy kick.
5. Custom Pizza View this post on InstagramIf you're craving a slice of pizza but don't want the standard tomato ingredients, you can mix things up. For instance, you can ask for everything from spinach dip to Alfredo as a replacement for the normal pizza sauce.
This hack lets you relive the 1990s when Olive Garden actually had pizza on its regular menu, featuring items like the Roma Garden, Meaty Italian or Chicken Alfredo pizza.
Plus, you'll be saving a few bucks by ordering off the children's menu. We recommend ordering for takeout because not all locations may allow adults to order from the children's menu in the dining room.

6. Grilled Chicken Margherita PastaPhoto by FanPro on Getty Images
It's not on the official menu, but it might just be your favorite new order. The standard Grilled Chicken Margherita comes with grilled chicken breast topped with gooey mozzarella, basil pesto, lemon garlic sauce, fresh tomatoes and Parmesan garlic broccoli. By turning this favorite into a custom pasta dish, you get all those signature flavors over a bed of your favorite noodles.
One Redditor suggests ordering angel hair pasta tossed with the basil pesto sauce, tomatoes, broccoli and grilled chicken. If you want to mix it up even more, other people recommend swapping the grilled chicken for crispy scampi chicken tenders as a tasty, zesty protein.
7. Steak MarsalaPhoto by EzumeImages on Getty Images
On social media, one Reddit commenter suggests ordering the 6-ounce sirloin and swapping mashed potatoes for broccoli and topping everything off with creamy Marsala sauce and mushrooms.
The earthy, velvety Marsala sauce instantly elevates the sirloin into a high-end steakhouse experience. Meanwhile, swapping the mash for steamed broccoli cuts out the heavy carbs, leaving you with a keto-friendly, high-protein powerhouse.
Best of all, because the kitchen whips up fresh Marsala sauce daily, servers can easily ring this up as a standard steak dinner with a cheap side add-on of sauce. You get a completely custom, gourmet steak dinner without paying a premium price tag.
What to Know Before You OrderBefore you run out the door to test out these secret menu hacks, there are a few golden rules to keep in mind so your dinner goes smoothly. Olive Garden's kitchen is incredibly accommodating, but a little insider strategy goes a long way when you're ordering off-script.
- Timing is everything: If you want to customize a complex dish like the custom pizza or the DIY Chicken Florentine, try to visit during off-peak hours. A kitchen line that isn’t slammed with a Friday night rush will have a much easier time nailing your specific requests.
- Expect a small upcharge: While swapping out pasta for broccoli or changing up a sauce is usually an even trade, adding extra cheese, premium proteins like shrimp or ordering a side of Marsala sauce will likely add a few extra dollars to your final bill.
- Be specific with your server: Because these aren't official menu items, simply asking for a steak Marsala might confuse your server. Instead, break it down by the base item and the modifications—ask for the 6-ounce sirloin, substitute the sides and request the Marsala sauce on top.
Next time you sit down at your booth at Olive Garden, look past the standard menu and let your inner chef take over. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to mix and match—all it takes is a little creativity and a friendly request to your server. Your new favorite Italian dish is waiting for you; you just have to build it yourself.

1987 Bittersweet Synth-Pop Anthem That Broke Up the Band Is Making the Rounds Again
A forgotten favorite is about to come rushing back. And guaranteed you know the chorus by heart. Now, the reason we bring this up is because … sorry, we’re just thinking of the right words to say … it has gloriously re-entered the chat. And we promise it’s worth the revisit.
In a surprise viral live performance at Los Globos nightclub in Los Angeles last month, “The Promise” reclaimed the spotlight as When in Rome’s Clive Farrington took to the stage under a disco ball and neon lighting perfectly suited to the track’s shimmering ’80s synth-pop-slash-new wave sound.
View this post on InstagramThe moment, captured in an Instagram Reelsmusic clip, began circulating online as a quiet reminder that the song remains a defining piece of 1987 pop nostalgia. Joined by Coleurs on the keyboard and Zach Sandoval on the guitar, Farrington’s performance has sparked renewed interest in the band’s legacy as pioneers of ’80s synth-pop classics.
In 1987, When in Rome, an English new wave band, released “The Promise,” a shimmery, wistful track that peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 11 after its U.S. release. Written by all three original members — Farrington, Andrew Mann, and Michael Floreale — the song served as their debut single and breakout hit, carving out real estate in the canon of ’80s music.
Despite its “forever” heartfelt lyrics, though, the band split just a few years later in 1990 due to creative differences, eventually splintering into two touring versions — When in Rome UKwith Farrrington and Mann, and When in Rome II, with Floreale and currect vocalist Tony Fennell — both still performing versions of the hit song.
“The Promise” immortalized the short-lived band’s place in music history. Blending piano notes, synth bass, and steady drum machine rhythms, alongside its heartfelt dual vocals, the track has long been embraced as a go-to wedding song and emotional staple, with a pop culture legacy that only grew stronger in 2004 with its feature in Napoleon Dynamite.
All these years later, the song continues to thrive as a retro ’80s hit and newly discovered Gen Z gem, proving that some tracks don’t fade; they simply wait to be found again.

’90s Heavy Metal Band Announces Update on Final Show 42 Years After Forming
Brazilian heavy metal legends Sepultura have officially confirmed the date and location of what will be the final concert in the band’s 42-year history.
The farewell performance is set for Nov. 7 at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil, closing the group’s long-running career in the country where it all began.
The band shared the announcement on its official social media pages with a direct message to fans: “On November 7th, SEPULTURA will take over the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu for the final show in the band’s history.”
“One final night. A historic celebration. More than epic.”

The final concert will mark the end of the band’s Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour, which began in 2024 as part of the group’s 40th anniversary celebration. The current lineup includes vocalist Derrick Green, guitarist Andreas Kisser, bassist Paulo Jr. and drummer Greyson Nekrutman.
View this post on Instagram Sepultura Final Show Will Bring Special GuestsThe farewell event will also feature performances by Metal Allegiance, Krisiun and Sacred Reich before Sepultura takes the stage for the final time.
The venue itself carries deep meaning for the band. According to reports, the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu area became an important part of Sepultura’s rise during the early 1990s.
A famous concert held in front of the stadium at Praça Charles Miller helped establish the group as one of Brazil’s biggest metal acts. Decades later, the band will end its story in the same location tied to its early success.
Two former members are also expected to appear during the farewell concert. Former drummer Jean Dolabella and former guitarist Jairo Guedz are set to join the celebration.
However, founding brothers Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera are not expected to reunite with the band for the final performance. The brothers previously said they prefer honoring early Sepultura music through their own projects and live performances.
According to Loudwire, Max Cavalera said in a 2025 interview with Full Metal Jackie: “Me and Igor, we have our own path, we're on our own thing. We're revisiting those old material on our own time. The way we did them was the way we always did which was from our heart. For us, it's really special to preserve that.”
Formed in 1984 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Sepultura became one of the most influential heavy metal bands of the late 1980s and 1990s. The group helped shape thrash metal, groove metal and death metal while building a global fanbase through albums like Beneath the Remains, Arise, Chaos A.D. and Roots.
The band sold nearly 20 million records worldwide and earned gold and platinum certifications across several countries, including Brazil, the United States, France and Australia.
Throughout the years, Sepultura’s sound evolved from aggressive thrash and death metal into styles that also included groove metal, industrial influences, hardcore punk, and Brazilian tribal music. Their 1996 album Roots became especially important in heavy metal history and influenced later bands in the nu metal movement.
Over the decades, the group experienced several lineup changes. Max Cavalera left in 1997, while Igor Cavalera departed in 2006. Despite those changes, Andreas Kisser and Paulo Jr. helped continue the band’s career alongside Derrick Green, who joined as vocalist in 1997.
In December 2023, the band announced plans for a farewell run celebrating its 40th anniversary. Guitarist Andreas Kisser later explained that the decision was influenced by personal experiences and the desire to end the journey on the band’s own terms.
The farewell tour has continued through 2026, including the release of the EP The Cloud of Unknowing.
Tickets for the final concert will first become available through Santander pre-sale events before opening to the general public on May 30.

Nicolas Cage Dishes on Swinging Into His 60s as a 'Spider-Man for Aging Adults'
Nicolas Cage's turn as an aging Spider-Man from the 1930s in the new series, Spider-Noir, left fans and critics in awe, with many calling his performance one of the best of his career. Considering he's won multiple awards, including an Oscar, during his 40+ career, that speaks volumes to how vested he was in his performance. The actor even tailored his performance to the black-and-white format that viewers can opt to watch the Prime Video series in.
One factor the 62-year-old embraced was being an older Spider-Man. "He’s far past his prime and gets his butt handed to him often in a brawl, but that makes him 'relatable,'" Cage told USA TODAY. "There's a lot of us getting older here, and we're not moving the same way we were when we were 18. And I think that's the difference."
"He’s a Spider-Man for aging adults," he added.
Playing the wall-crawling hero obviously includes some stunt work. Despite feeling some hesitation, Cage enjoyed the wirework.
"You're always thinking, ‘This could snap, and I'm going to drop,'" he explained. "But there's a bit of excitement and bliss: OK, this is dangerous, and I'm feeling some adrenaline in my body, and I'm enjoying myself."
Learning to Love the Web-SlingerWhile he has always been forthcoming about his love of Superman -- he even named his son Kal-El -- he admitted that he "learned to love Spider-Man, or understand the appeal of that character, much later." Cage first played Spider-Noir in the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In a 2018 interview with ScreenSlam, he explained why he immediately agreed to the role.
"To me, Spider-Man, the character, the Marvel comic character, is the ultimate. He is absolutely the reason that Marvel is the universe it is," Cage said. "He is the most high-action, watchable character, with a great sense of humor, and if it wasn't for Spider-Man, we wouldn't have all these other great characters."
The Future of 'Spider-Noir'Cage is already confirmed to be returning for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. And fortunately, thanks to the open ending of Season 1 of Spider-Noir, there are already whispers that a Season 2 is inevitable.
