Grammy-Nominated Superstars Turn a No. 1 Ballad Into the Surprise Feel-Good Duet of the Year

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 2:48pm

Seeing Alex Warren belt out his chamber pop ballad, “Ordinary,” live is a gift. Seeing him do it with country superstar Luke Combs? Now, that’s a blessing.

In what has become the feel-good duet of the year, the Nashville mainstay joined Warren onstage Monday, May 25, at his Finally Finding Family on the Road Tour in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena to belt out the No. 1 track. Posted to Instagram, the video shows Warren and Combs hiding backstage before taking their marks.

View this post on Instagram

Once onstage, the two belt out the emotional lyrics, with Warren giving Combs his own mic time to shine. The two then pass vocal responsibility over to the audience before bringing the song home together again. The duet ends with the pair bear-hugging and the audience going wild. It’s pretty amazing. Just look at fans' comments for proof.

"The BEST surprise!! Bridgestone was electric for this," one fan wrote.

"Best collaboration! Love this so much," another said.

"I would have died," another joked.

"I may or may not have LOST IT when Luke came out. What an AMAZING show," another commented.

"I need y’all to know I ugly sobbed through this whole song tonight. Alex put on an amazing show. Luke coming out was an amazing bonus!!!" yet another shared.

Warren scored big with “Ordinary,” the sixth track off his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid. An orchestral chart-topping track that blends themes of love, vulnerability, and devotion into a soaring emotional anthem, exploded thanks to social media popularity and streaming momentum. Adding Combs to the mix only elevated the song even further, bringing warmth, grit, and emotional weight to an already-powerful track. The result was a massive sing-along moment that transformed the Nashville crowd into one unified chorus.

Debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2025, “Ordinary” peaked at No. 1 in June and stayed atop the survey for 10 whole weeks, cementing a run that was anything but “ordinary.”

Combs, a master hitmaker himself, has more than 20 No. 1 hits on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay Chart. And even though he doesn’t have a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100, he came close with his revolutionary cover of Tracy Chapman’s 1988 gem “Fast Car,” which peaked at No. 2.

While an unexpected perfect pairing at first, Warren’s emotional pop delivery and Combs’ rich, grounded vocals are proving to be the crossover combination fans can’t get enough of. Maybe that’s because, beneath their different musical lanes, the two have more in common than they have differences.

Both artists are award magnets, with Warren earning his first Grammy nomination this year for Best New Artist and taking home the Best New Artist Award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, as well as iHeart’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year for “Ordinary.”

Combs’ Grammy noms include Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance, with the Nashville star taking home multiple country music awards, from the Country Music Association's Award for Entertainer of the Yearto the Academy of Country Music’s prestigious International Award.

Judging by the approving roar from the crowd, this probably won’t be the last time fans see these two share a stage.

I Tried Making Viral Dirty Sodas With 5-hour ENERGY’s New Flavors—and They’re Officially My New Summer Obsession

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 2:04pm
Sponsored Story

If your algorithm has turned into a nonstop stream of colorful “dirty soda” videos lately...same. Between the layered syrups, creamy swirls and candy-covered cups, these playful drinks are everywhere right now. They're incredibly satisfying to watch get made and I was sure they'd be incredibly satisfying to sip, too. Dirty sodas first exploded in popularity thanks to soda shops in the Western US, but TikTok (particularly #MomTok) and Instagram have fully turned them into a summer obsession.

Part of the appeal is that they feel endlessly customizable. You can make them fruity, creamy, tart or candy-inspired depending on your mood, and they somehow manage to feel nostalgic and trendy at the same time. After watching one too many videos of people mixing together bright syrups, sodas and cream to pour over pebble ice, I decided it was finally my turn to try making them.

Since I’m always looking for fun ways to shake up my afternoon routine during the chaos of summer break, I decided to use the new flavored 5-hour ENERGY® shots as the base for my drinks. It gave the dirty sodas a flavorful boost without losing any of the fun. Instead, they felt vibrant, refreshing and honestly perfect for sipping poolside or while chasing kids around outside all afternoon.

Even the 5-hour ENERGY bottles are colorful and fun!

I tested two different combinations: one inspired by nostalgic firework popsicles and another with sweet watermelon and sour candy vibes. Both ended up tasting way better than I expected and—dare I say—have potential to go viral on my own feed?!

Why Dirty Sodas Are Having a Moment

Dirty sodas are having a major moment because they hit the sweet spot between nostalgic comfort drink and customizable treat. They’re colorful, over-the-top, fun to make and even more fun to watch online. The layered drinks, pebble ice and dramatic cream swirls practically beg to be filmed for TikTok and Instagram.

They also appeal to people who want something a little more exciting than their usual iced coffee or canned soda. You can completely personalize them depending on your mood, whether you want something fruity, creamy, tart or candy-inspired. And these two I made have the added benefit of a little boost, thanks to the fun flavors of 5-hour ENERGY!

The Firework Freeze Recipe I Tried I'm definitely serving these up at my 4th of July barbecue.

Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma

This one immediately gave me nostalgic red, white and blue popsicle vibes in the best way possible. Between the cherry syrup, blue sports drink and creamy vanilla swirl, it tasted sweet, creamy and slightly tangy all at once.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup pebble ice
  • 1 bottle Firework Freeze 5-hour ENERGY®
  • 2 ounces cherry syrup or grenadine
  • 1/4 cup vanilla coffee creamer or coconut creamer
  • 1/2 can lemon-lime soda
  • 4 to 6 ounces blue sports drink
  • Whipped cream and a cherry, for garnish (optional)

I layered everything right over the pebble ice and finished it with whipped cream and a cherry on top. The vanilla creamer mellowed out the fruit flavors perfectly and made the whole thing taste almost like a melted rocket pop float with a boost. This one felt extra summery and perfect for the upcoming summer holidays.

The Watermelon Sour Dirty Soda I Made Next My second recipe was an absolute winner.

Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma

The second drink ended up being my favorite of the two. It tasted bright, juicy and slightly sour with a creamy finish that somehow paired perfectly.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup pebble ice
  • 1 bottle 5-hour ENERGY® Fruity Rainbow
  • 1/2 can lemon-lime soda
  • 3 to 4 ounces watermelon juice
  • Squeeze of fresh lime
  • Splash coconut cream

This one tasted like a watermelon candy in drink form. The lime helped balance the sweetness, while the coconut cream softened everything into a creamy, fizzy summer drink. I topped mine with my son's favorite sour watermelon candies, which made it feel extra playful.

The Ingredients That Made These Drinks Taste So Good I had so much fun giving my basic afternoon soda a massive upgrade.

Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma

The biggest thing that made these dirty sodas work was balancing sweet, tart and creamy flavors together. The lemon-lime soda added brightness and fizz, while the 5-hour ENERGY® shots brought an extra flavorful layer that made the drinks taste playful and summery instead of overly sugary. The syrups and juices helped amplify the candy-like flavors, while the creamers and coconut cream gave both drinks that signature “dirty soda” finish that makes them feel richer and more dessert-like.

Easy Ways To Customize the Recipes There are so many fun ways to create your own energy-packed dirty soda.

Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma

The fun part about dirty sodas is how easy they are to customize. You can swap the lemon-lime soda for flavored seltzer or club soda if you want something lighter and less sweet. Different fruit juices would also work depending on the flavor profile you want.

You can also switch up the 5-hour ENERGY® flavors to completely change the vibe of the drink. The Cotton Candy flavor would be especially delicious in the watermelon version for an extra nostalgic candy-shop feel. I could also see tropical fruit flavors working really well for a beachy summer variation.

The Best Garnishes to Use

I tend to use garnishes that actually enhance the flavor of the drink instead of just making it look pretty. But with dirty sodas, I fully leaned into the playful theme. The watermelon soda absolutely needed sour watermelon candies on top, while the Firework Freeze version felt incomplete without a cherry and whipped cream.

Which Flavor Was My Favorite? How good does the Watermelon Sour look?

Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma

I’m a little biased toward watermelon this time of year, so the Watermelon Sour Dirty Soda easily won for me. The fruity 5-hour ENERGY® flavor made it taste bright, while the sour candies on top completely sealed the deal. It felt refreshing, playful and honestly perfect for a hot afternoon when you need a little pick-me-up without reaching for another coffee.

Would I Make These Again This Summer?

Absolutely. These drinks felt like the perfect “something special” to sip poolside or make during a backyard hangout with friends. They’re easy, colorful and surprisingly delicious—and bonus points for boosting my energy while chasing two kids around all day.

I was so excited to try dirty sodas off the 'gram and they completely lived up to the hype. They were fun to make, surprisingly delicious and felt like the perfect summer treat when I wanted something more exciting than my usual afternoon drink. Between the playful flavors, colorful garnishes and the fruity boost from the 5-hour ENERGY® shots, both recipes felt easy enough and satisfying enough to have on my summer sipping playlist all season long.

‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’ Fans Need To Check Out R.N. Swann’s Debut Thriller

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:39pm

The first thing that pulled me into In Case I Go Missing by R.N. Swann was the cover. I don’t care how many people say not to judge a book by its cover. I always will, and most of the time, it hasn’t steered me wrong.

In Case I Go Missing is the debut young adult thriller from Swann. It’s perfect for those who love A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson and One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus. In fact, just looking at the cover, I felt like I was going into one of these novels, and it completely set the tone.

We follow Fenny Allen, a 17-year-old girl who has always been the sidekick of her best friend Sarah. It was always Sarah who would figure out mysteries and solve cases, usually ones that involved affairs or cheating in school. However, when Sarah goes missing, Fenny takes it upon herself to find her.

This isn’t just the story of a missing teenager, though. Throughout the 400-page-or-so novel, we get a tale of a small town with a dark history. At first, it felt like the history of the town was there to set up the idea of town royalty, the founding fathers of the town. Think of it a little like how the Gilberts, Salvatores, and Forbes are all connected to those who found Mystic Falls in The Vampire Diaries. That’s the case with the Kellys and the Salisburys in In Case I Go Missing.

Courtesy of Penguin Random House

I've always appreciated these arcs, setting up the history of the town. It makes the town itself a character, and it helps to set up the way people react just based on a surname.

However, it’s not just about that. There’s a dark secret that Sarah had figured out, and that’s what led to her disappearance. On top of that, there is a mystery from the slightly more recent past that Fenny has to figure out to help put all the pieces together.

All of these smaller mysteries start to connect to each other, and there was one point, about two thirds into the book, that I stopped reading for a second with my jaw wide open. It’s in that moment that I realized just how much bigger the mystery was and how much had been teased along the way.

With about 100 pages left to go, it did look like the mystery had been solved. However, there’s a great twist at the end. While I did guess the twist, I do think that’s because I’ve read plenty of mysteries — both YA and adult — and I often think like a writer. It’s not the most obvious twist, making it great for fans of other YA thrillers that I’ve already mentioned.

I found myself hooked within the first few pages, and it often takes a while for the real mystery and investigation to get started. Not with this one. Within a couple of chapters, we were fully into the story. Now, my only wish would have been to get some chapters from the POV of Fenny's friend Sam, as there was a much bigger plot going on with his brother Brian, but I can be patient for maybe some bonuses.

In Case I Go Missing is now available both physically and digitally at a store near you!

Legendary '70s Rock Icon Pens Emotional Birthday Tribute to His Former Bandmate Spanning 50 Years

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:37pm

On May 26, Stevie Nicks turned 78. The singer was bombarded with messages of love on social media, but none were quite as endearing as the one from her longtime friend and Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Mick Fleetwood.

"Sending you all my love on your birthday Stevie..." he wrote on Instagram. "The world would not be the same without your words, voice, and spirit.... Proud of you always and love always. Xx Mick Fleetwood."

Along with the sweet tribute was a nostalgic trip through the last 50 years. The first photo featured Fleetwood and Nicks grinning for the camera. The next showed the cover of their tremendously successful 1977 album, Rumours. While most of the pictures portrayed the two in their younger days, one showed a gray-bearded Fleetwood next to Nicks, who, though the same age, still looked as youthful as ever.

View this post on Instagram Inside the Turmoil of 'Rumours'

Since the beginning, the members of Fleetwood Mac have endured more instability and turmoil among themselves than most other bands. When they made their penultimate album, Rumours, Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were in the process of breaking up after 11 years together, and John McVie and Christine McVie were divorcing after being married for eight years.

But their messy interpersonal relationships didn't end there, with Fleetwood going on to have an affair with Nicks. Then, Nicks found out that he was cheating on her, as well, with her close friend, Sara Rancor.

'Great Fodder for Writing'

"I lost Mick, which honestly wasn't that big of a deal because that was a rocky relationship,” Nicks told The Independent in 2011. "But losing my friend Sara? That was a huge blow. Sara was banished from the studio by the rest of the band ... No one was speaking, and I wouldn't even look directly at Mick. That went on for months. And it was great fodder for writing! The songs poured out of us."

But somehow, all the turbulence just made the bonds between them stronger, at least most of them. Buckingham and Nicks still have a notoriously tumultuous relationship, praising each other one day, then hating each other the next. "Personally, I would love to see a healing between them," Fleetwood admitted to MOJO in 2024.

Brendan Fraser's Sons Join Dad In Rare Appearance at 'Pressure' Premiere

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:36pm

Brendan Fraser's latest movie premiere in New York City was a family affair.

On Tuesday, the actor's two sons Griffin and Leland, supported their dad in his latest venture, World War II movie 'Pressure,' coming to theaters on Friday. The family also sported coordinating outfits, all matching in dark green, which was perhaps a nod to the military uniform Fraser wears in the film as he plays Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The boys both sported green shirts and dark pants while their famed dad wore an all-green suit for the occasion.

Griffin, 23, and Leland, 20 — and Fraser's middle child Holden, 21 — tend to stay out of the spotlight when it comes to their dad's public life, however they come out to support the actor in big moments, including when the star took home the Oscar for 'The Whale' in 2023.

"He's always been cool, but we're always going to rag on him at least a little," Leland told Entertainment Tonight on the award show's red carpet at the time.

Fraser also acknowledged his sons in his heartfelt acceptance speech as he took home Best Actor for his performance.

"It's been like I've been on a diving expedition to the bottom of the ocean, and the air on the line [has come from] some people in my life like my sons Holden and Leland and Griffin — I love you, Griffey," he said.

While the boys haven't set out for major Hollywood careers like their dad, Leland for his part, plays guitar in a band called Hunter Road. He is also a model along with Holden, who wasn't present for the premiere.

Griffin who has autism, has a major advocate in his dad as he's lent his talents to spreading awareness for special needs families. In 2024, Fraser produced a documentary 'Saving Superman' which followed highlighted a man's life on the spectrum in dedication to his son.

Fraser shares all three kids with ex-wife, Afton Smith, whom he was married to from 1998-2008.

Registered Dietitians Swear By This After-Dinner Drink for Better Digestion

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:25pm

When it comes to what you can drink after dinner, there are a lot of options out there (looking at you, nightcaps). But whether you’ve just had a big meal or simply want to wind down for bed, choosing something that supports digestion—as in, doesn't contain alcohol—is always a good idea.

“Drinking fluids after a meal can support normal digestion by helping move food through the gastrointestinal tract and supporting overall hydration status,” says Sandra Zhang, RDN, LDN, dietitian at the Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts Medical Center. A warm drink in particular may be soothing, because it can make you feel less bloated, she adds.

A good after-dinner drink can even indirectly support digestion by boosting your mental health, says Jessica Cording, RD, author of The Little Book of Game Changers. “For some people, the ritual of slowing down and sipping something warm after a meal may help activate the body’s ‘rest and digest’ response, which can support more comfortable digestion,” she tells Parade

Knowing that you plan to sip on a drink after dinner may even lower the risk you’ll overeat, since you’ll want to avoid feeling overly full, according to Sonya Angelone, PhD, RDN, a nutritionist and registered dietitian based in San Francisco.

While you can technically rely on any beverage to help you relax and digest after dinner, there’s one in particular that dietitians say can be helpful. Here’s why.

The After-Dinner Drink That Supports Digestion

Cathérine/Getty Images

It’s peppermint tea. “Peppermint tea is often used to support digestion because peppermint contains compounds that may help relax the muscles of the gastrointestinal tract,” Cording explains. “Also, since it’s naturally caffeine-free, enjoying it after an evening meal won’t mess with sleep.”

Research has shown peppermint oil may help relieve symptoms of IBS, particularly bloating and abdominal discomfort, which is why peppermint is often associated with digestive support,” Zhang tells Parade.

Peppermint tea is less concentrated than peppermint oil, but Zhang says that many people find it to be “soothing” after meals.

This drink can also tamp down on nausea or stomach upset, especially after a heavy meal, Angelone says.

Related: 6 High-Calcium Drinks To Support Bone Health That Aren’t Milk

4 Perks of Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea offers plenty of benefits to consider.

  1. It eases nausea. “Peppermint has traditionally been used to help relieve mild nausea and stomach discomfort,” Zhang says. “Some studies suggest peppermint aroma or peppermint-containing products may reduce nausea symptoms in certain settings.”
  2. It’s calming. “Sipping a warm beverage like tea can promote relaxation,” Angelone explains. “The cooling sensation of the mint can be calming and refreshing. “
  3. It’s hydrating. Peppermint tea counts toward your daily hydration goals. “Adequate hydration is important for good digestion,” Angelone tells Parade. “Fluid helps to soften stool and move it through the gastrointestinal tract.”
  4. It relaxes your intestines. Peppermint tea contains menthol, which can help to relax the smooth muscles in the digestive tract, Zhang says, adding, ”That may reduce cramping, bloating or that overly full feeling after meals."
Peppermint Tea Isn’t a Good Fit for Everyone, Though

While many people find this tea soothing, it’s not for everyone.

“People with gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD) may find that peppermint tea triggers symptoms,” Cording says. Those can include heartburn, nausea and hoarseness, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

Angelone also flags this as something to keep in mind. “It relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter and may contribute to reflux in certain sensitive people,” she says. “The relaxed sphincter may allow some acid reflux into the esophagus.”

Other After-Dinner Drinks to Try

Dietitians have a few other suggestions if you like the idea of sipping on an after-dinner drink, but don’t think peppermint tea is your thing. “Warm, caffeine-free beverages are often a good place to start, especially in the evening, as they can support hydration and won’t mess with sleep,” Cording says.

Fellow teas like ginger, fennel and chamomile may also support digestion, she adds.

Angelone also suggests considering adding bitters to a drink. “Bitters are an herbal blend made from bitter-tasting herbs that stimulate saliva production, increase stomach acid and digestive enzymes,” she explains. “Some people find sipping bitters before or after a meal reduces feelings of fullness or sluggish digestion.” (Just be aware that many types of bitters have an alcohol base, per Angelone. If you’re avoiding alcohol, there are non-alcoholic bitters that will give you the same effect.)

If digestive support is your goal, Cording suggests avoiding anything that will make you feel overly full or that contains a lot of added sugar. Beyond that, you have plenty to choose from.

This dazzling sterling silver necklace has an impressive shine, thanks to its white rhodium finish, but the star of the 18-inch chain is the cluster of sparkling gemstones on its pendant. There are about 14.1 carats of gems composed of two oval morganites, three oval tanzanites, and eight round white zircons, which give the necklace a soft, but striking blend of pink, blue, and white hues. Its aesthetic is a big reason one shopper praised the necklace with a five-star review, writing, “A beautiful necklace for a reasonable price. I love it!”

Setup is just as simple, thanks to a two-piece pole that assembles quickly without any tools. 'Summer House' Fans Had Some Jaw-Dropping Things To Say About the Ciara-Amanda-West Reunion Fallout

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:12pm

It's all fun and games in the Hamptons until your BFF starts dating the guy you're still quasi-in-love with. Things got more than messy when the Summer House cast reunited for the Season 10 reunion special. While fans generally expect plenty of reality TV drama from this type of event, the Ciara-Amanda-West love triangle took the show to a whole new level.

By now, viewers already know that after Season 10 ended, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke made the difficult decision to part ways. The pair announced their divorce in January 2026. But it didn’t seem to take long for Batula to bounce back. In a joint statement (posted to Instagram Stories last March), Amanda and co-star West Wilson revealed that they are indeed dating. And that left Cooke, as well as castmate Ciara Miller (who previously dated Wilson), with some pretty strong feelings.

SUMMER HOUSE -- "Reunion" -- Pictured: (l-r) Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, Andy Cohen, Amanda Batula, West Wilson -- (Photo by: Jocelyn Prescod/Bravo via Getty Images) What Happened on the ‘Summer House’ Season 10 Reunion?

Maybe the better question is, what didn’t happen on the Summer House Season 10 reunion? Before the cast sat down with Bravo’s Andy Cohenfor a debrief of sorts, cameras caught the real-time reactions of Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon, and Mia Calabrese as they read Batula and Wilson’s stunning Instagram statement.

It didn’t take much time for things to heat up. Amanda started by saying, “I’m prepared to own up to what I’ve done, take accountability, apologize. Especially to Ciara and Kyle.” As expected, Ciara didn’t blindly accept the apology and move on—calling Batula a “snake in the grass” (among other things).

What Did Fans Think of the ‘Summer House’ Season 10 Reunion Part 1?

Ciara isn’t the only one who is voicing their opinion. Fans took to social media, reacting to the love triangle (or, if you add in Kyle, maybe a square?) and so much more. So what were some of the best/worst reactions?

The Summer House Bravo subreddit overflowed with juicy morsels that go well beyond basic comments. To start with, one user wrote, in a statement that Ciara might just agree with, “Amanda is a parasite. She sucks the life of everyone on the show. Especially if it’s a man.” Ouch! Other redditors phrased their critiques in a more constructive way, “I think Amanda and West just need to come out with the truth. Everyone knows they’re lying and it honestly makes everything worse, because you’re not only shady, bad friends, etc., you’re now also labeled a liar.”

The reactions didn’t end there. Other redditors posted dramatically harsh criticisms of Batula, such as, “I’m 20 minutes into Reunion part 1, and my blood is already boiling”, “Amanda is such an energy vampire and takes on the persona of whatever host she’s attached herself to”, and “I’m honestly shocked at how unprepared Amanda and West came into this.” Yikes!

Summer House viewers didn’t just blast Amanda in the comments. Some took another approach, with one writing (of Ciara), “It’s heartbreaking that this sweet soul who has championed so many people on this show for years was basically portrayed as an idiot who went after a terrible man after the scandal came out.”

Some fans also doubted whether the reality TV series is in fact real: “Not gonna lie, some of this feels scripted and staged…Seems like a ploy to gain ratings, fame, and a new show since they knew their marriage was already over. Why not make money/fame out of it.”

Even though tensions are high right now, things will blow over. Tom Sandoval weathered Scandoval, and Amanda will get through this, too. After all, it comes with the reality TV territory. Whether you’re Team Amanda or not, there are still two more parts to this reunion special. And we’re guessing that the cast (and fans) will have plenty more to say about the Season 10 drama.

Vrabel Opened Up About the Dianna Russini Scandal

Last month, Vrabel spoke to the press about the uproar surrounding the scandal involving him and Dianna Russini for the first time in a video obtained by WBZ‘s Dan Roche.

“I understand I could have addressed you sooner, but it was important to me I have a conversation with the players, which I did yesterday very candidly,” Vrabel shared during a pre-NFL draft press conference at Gillette Stadium, noting that he had “some difficult conversations” with people he “care[s] about.”

Including discussions with his “family,” as well as the Patriots organization, Vrabel said the talks were “positive and productive.”

“We believe in order to be successful, you have to make good decisions,” he said. “That starts with me. You never want your actions to negatively affect the team … or be the cause of a distraction.”

Sharing that he’s “excited” to coach the team with “humility and focus,” Vrabel leaned in hard when emphasizing how much he cares about coaching the Patriots. He also noted that he’s kept some questions and comments from the team private.

“What I can promise you is my family, this organization, this team, the staff, the coaches, and the fans, most importantly, will get the best version of me going forward,” he stated.

'70s Rock Legend and Founding Member of Iconic Band Turns 69

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 1:00pm

Siouxsie Sioux, the music legend who cemented her fame in the industry during the late 1970s as a defining figure of the post-punk movement, is being celebrated as she marks a personal milestone.

In honor of her 69th birthday, let's take a look into the colorful music career of the music legend and the iconic vocalist behind the rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Born on May 27, 1957, the Kent native, whose real name is Susan Janet Ballion, began her music career after making her debut at London's legendary 100 Club Punk Special.

The singer, who was then 19 years old, was accidentally discovered after she and her friend and bandmate Steven Severin asked the manager if they could fill in the spot after a band dropped out at the last minute.

With her eclectic gothic-inspired and avant-garde look, which became her signature style, accompanied by her commanding and powerful vocals, the band, initially named Siouxsie and the Banshees, stood out, making this their first performance.

“It was very impromptu,” the female vocalist told Magnet Magazine, in reference to their first performance and opening for the Sex Pistols. “The band was formed just for that one gig. That was it. Fifteen or 20 minutes, that was all the future that I saw. But it’s gone on for quite a long time.”

Instead of a one-off performance, they took music seriously, prompting them to spend two years writing music.

In 1978, they released their first official studio album, The Scream, under Polydor Records with Sioux on lead vocals, Severin on bass guitar, John McKay on guitar and saxophone and Kenny Morris on drums and percussion as the original lineup.

Their biggest hit, "Hong Kong Garden," reached No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart, but it was the track “Jigsaw Feeling” that was considered a massive fan favorite despite not realizing commercial success.

Following the band’s gothic peak in 1981 and after a few changes in the lineup, along with the release of 11 albums, Sioux went solo in the early 2000s.

Kicking off her new path, she embarked on a sold-out solo tour titled Dreamshow in 2004, followed by the release of her debut album Mantaray in 2007.

From then on, she continued to build her legacy, highlighted by her highest-charting song "Into a Swan,” peaking at No. 19 on the UK Physical Singles Chart, as well as her iconic 2013 collaboration with John Lennon’s second wife, Yoko Ono at the Meltdown Festival.

Jennifer Lopez Reunites With 'Selena' Family Patriarch in Emotional Red Carpet Moment

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:58pm

One of Jennifer Lopez's most iconic roles was playing the "Queen of Tejano Music" Selena Quintanilla, in the 1997 biopic. Decades later, Lopez has reunited with her on-screen father, Edward James Olmos, for Netflix's Office Romance.

Everyone knows the story of Selena, the singer-songwriter who was killed at the height of her career at the age of 23. Lopez played the singer in Selena, which cemented the start of her acting career in Hollywood. Joining her was Olmos, who played the family patriarch Abraham Quintanilla Jr. Now, 29 years after the two shared the screen, the actors once again play father and daughter in Office Romance.

In a video by Entertainment Weekly, Lopez was over the moon reuniting with Olmos on the Netflix red carpet for their newest film. The actor and singer couldn't help but look back at when they first walked the carpet together for Selena and striking a similar pose with the cast.

"I’ll tell you what happened. We were standing on the carpet just a few minutes ago," Lopez told Entertainment Weekly. "I was standing with him, and I remember taking the cast photo with Selena and I said, ‘Oh my God, do you remember when we did this years ago?’ and he goes ‘I remember it well!'"

The two actors have been apart for some time and relished the emotional nostalgia of working together again. Lopez adds that Olmos said, "‘I’m so proud to be here with you.’ I said, ‘I love you so much, thank you.'" She admits that they didn't know whether Olmos would be willing to accept the role, seeing as he's only done a handful of projects over the years. In the end, Lopez was "so glad" and "really excited" when he agreed.

"What a beautiful full circle moment. I can't wait too see this rom com! Congratulations @jlo and all the Cast & Crew!" said a fan on Instagram.

Another fan remembered his own interaction with Olmos, saying, "I was a Production assistant with Edward James Olmos in 2000 he was so nice and amazing, I took a poloroid picture I have with him and he signed it and Selena movie came out 1997 and it was so real. @jlo I was like omg my first PA job and Edward was in the movie and I just moved to LA in 2000!"

Office Romance stars Lopez as Jackie, the President and CEO of Air Cruz. She runs her company with a firm hand, especially when it comes to her "no fraternization" rule among employees. Things take a turn when a sexy new lawyer has her questioning her own attraction and policy.

After the Success of ‘Heated Rivalry,’ Canadian Network Crave Has Found Its Next Romance Novel To Adapt

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:49pm

After the success of the Heated Rivalry adaptation, Canadian network, Crave, has looked at what could have made it get so much attention. The reason? The smut!

Because of that, the Bell Media-owned network has optioned another romance novel. This time, Crave is going for a dark romance, optioning Five Brothers by Penelope Douglas. The plan is to create it into a multi-season series.

Five Brothers was released in 2024, and it is something Douglas immediately connected to as she developed the storyline. As you would expect based on the title, it’s a story that follows one woman’s journey into understanding and learning the secrets of the five Jaeger brothers.

The eldest is Macon, an ex-Marine. Then there is Army, a single dad who doesn’t even know if he is a Jaeger brother or not. Iron is the middle brother, and the blurb tells us that he’ll be in prison soon, and then Dallas is the one the lead female character hates.

Finally, there’s Trace, a man who is this woman’s favorite but who can’t be tamed for too long. He’s the one this woman is sure didn’t hold her tightly one night when she was crying. Something happened that night, and she has to figure out which of the five brothers it was.

Despite Crave planning on a multi-season storyline, there is only one book by Douglas. This could lead to a problem similar to The Handmaid’s Tale.

When mentioning the reason for the development of Five Brothers, Carlyn Klebuc, the general manager for original programming at Bell Media, said that, “Heated Rivalry proved there is global appetite for sexy, sophisticated, and mainstream romance stories. With complex lead characters, a boundary-pushing story, and a built-in audience, we’re excited to develop Crave’s next big swing in the romance genre.”

The wait for Heated Rivalry Season 2 also continues. The series has been renewed, and it is expected to arrive on Crave in 2027. There’s no word on when Five Brothers could arrive, as that is still in the planning stage.

Wagner Honored His Former Wife, Natalie Wood

Back in July, Wagner took to social media to share a throwback photo of himself and his former wife, Natalie Wood, who died at the age of 43 in 1981. The touching share was posted in honor of what would’ve been their 53rd wedding anniversary,

"Always a special place in my heart. Happy Anniversary Nat! More Than Love," Wagner captioned the photo of himself and Wood, tagging the couple's children.

View this post on Instagram How Did Natalie Wood Die?

Wood died on a boat trip to California’s Catalina Island. Her death was initially ruled an “accidental drowning,” PEOPLE shared. In a press conference, L.A. coroner, Dr. Thomas Noguchi, concluded that after accidentally falling into the water, Wood had attempted to board a dinghy, Vanity Fair reported. This is based on fingernail scratch marks on the inflatable boat’s side. Noguchi shared that he believed Wood had clung onto its side, but was weighed down by the heavy parka she was wearing, and couldn't pull herself up from the water.

While some assumed Wagner was involved, Wood's daughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner, shared in her 2020 documentary, Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind, why she believes Wagner wasn't involved in her mother’s death.

“It’s outrageous and completely unacceptable that others have created this narrative about my dad and the night my mom died,” Natasha said, PEOPLE reported. “I know that if my mom had been in any kind of distress, he would have given his life for her. I know that as well as I know my name.”

1970 Rock Classic Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 56 Years Later

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:37pm

In 1970, Creedence Clearwater Revival released “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” a song that would eventually become one of the most enduring classics in rock history.

More than 55 years later, the iconic track is climbing the charts again.

This week, the song reentered Billboard’s Rock Streaming Songs chart at No. 24 and earned a “Gains in Performance” designation from Billboard. “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” has now spent 145 total weeks on the chart and previously climbed as high as No. 11.

The track also remains Creedence Clearwater Revival’s most-streamed song on Spotify, where it has now surpassed 2.4 billion streams. “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” currently ranks ahead of other CCR staples including “Fortunate Son,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Proud Mary.”

Released from the band’s Pendulum album in December 1970, the song became one of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s biggest hits, eventually reaching No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts around the world during its original run.

Though listeners have long debated the meaning behind the song, John Fogerty has repeatedly said it was inspired by the growing tensions inside Creedence Clearwater Revival as the band began falling apart.

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show in 2015, Fogerty said he “perceived all the tension” inside the group and felt “it was breaking up.”

“The metaphor of course, you know, of seeing rain come down from a clear sunny day,” Fogerty explained. “Here we were achieving all our dreams … instead of being happy, we seemed to be miserable.”

Related: 1975 Rock Classic Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 51 Years Later

Fogerty revisited the song again during a 2025 appearance on The Zach Sang Show, where he said, “I literally wrote that song because my band was breaking up.”

He added that the image of rain falling from a bright blue sky perfectly captured the emotional contradiction the band was experiencing at the height of its success.

Despite the sadness surrounding the song’s origins, Fogerty said its meaning eventually evolved for him over time through performing it live for audiences and associating it with his daughter Kelsy.

Over the decades, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” has become one of rock music’s most recognizable songs, appearing in movies, television shows and streaming playlists while continuing to attract new generations of listeners.

The track has also been covered by numerous artists over the years, including Bonnie Tyler, Rod Stewart, Willie Nelson and Joan Jett, and it has been used in such movies and TV shows as Fire Country, Parenthood, Dexter, Philadelphia, The Longest Yard and dozens more.

Creedence Clearwater Revival itself remains one of the most influential American rock bands of all time. Between 1969 and 1971, the group released an astonishing run of hits including “Bad Moon Rising,” “Down on the Corner,” “Fortunate Son” and “Proud Mary.”

More than five decades after its release, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” is still finding new life on the charts, proving some classic songs never really fade away.

Chart-Topping ’90s Country Group Announces Exciting 20th Anniversary Tour

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:35pm

The Chicks are making a return to the stage.

One of the most influential country acts of their era announced their 20th anniversary tour on Wednesday, May 27.

"Taking The Long Way 20th Anniversary Tour announced!" the Instagram post read, while also revealing a list of U.S. dates this fall.

The country trio, consisting of Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer, will embark on the intimate run to celebrate their Grammy-winning 2006 album of the same name.

"Still not ready to make nice," the post expressed.

The tour will kick off on Sept. 30 at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, with stops including two nights in Chicago, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and more. It will conclude on Nov. 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The artist pre-sale begins on Wednesday, June 3, at 10 am local time, with fans able to sign up via the website.

View this post on Instagram

While The Chicks (formerly known as The Dixie Chicks) have performed one-off dates and sporadic shows at smaller venues—with two summer shows in California previously announced—this marks a return to a larger-scale show.

It's also nostalgia-driven, as it will celebrate 20 years since the release of their album, which featured their highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 hit, which peaked at No. 4, "Not Ready to Make Nice."

The album also won plenty of accolades, taking home Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 2007 Grammy Awards, along with Best Country Performance for a Duo or Group.

It was an extension of the trio's reputation for challenging industry and public norms and expectations, released a few years after Maines saw backlash for criticizing the Iraq War and then-President George W. Bush during a concert in March 2003. “Just so you know, we're on the good side with y'all. We do not want this war, this violence. And we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas," she said.

The song served as a defiant response, adressing the controversy head-on through the lyrics with themes of not backing down and refusing to be silenced or forced to apologize, turning a career-threatening moment into a statement about artistic freedom and standing by your beliefs.

Currently, Maines and the White House are at war of words, after the outspoken singer criticized President Donald Trump, writing, "Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes. This fugly sl—t is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists."

The White House hit back, expressing, "Natalie Maines is a despicable nobody who clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted her peanut-sized brain."

Fans were thrilled by the tour news, as one wrote, "Life is worth living," while Michelle Branch added, "Ahhhhhhhhhh! 👏🔥."

"an album called ‘still not ready to make nice’ would EAT," another fan suggested.

Bruce Willis' Wife Shares New Update Amid Actor’s Ongoing Health Struggles

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:29pm

Bruce Willis is doing okay.

The Die Hard star was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, and the disease has progressed over the past few years. On Wednesday, May 27, Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, appeared on Today to discuss brain health. During the interview, Heming Willis shared an update on her famous husband, who lives his life completely out of the spotlight.

"You know, we're doing well,” she told Today anchor Savannah Guthrie. "My husband is supported and loved and we're doing the best we can under the circumstances."

After becoming a caretaker for her husband, Heming Willis got inspired to bring awareness to people who are in that role.

“What I've learned is that it's so important to care for ourselves and if we're not caring for ourselves, how can we care for the people that we love in our lives? So it's really important to prioritize our health, to prioritize our brain health,” she said. “There's actually actionable things we can do today to support our brain tomorrow."

Heming Willis released a book and even started a wellness brand—Make Time Wellness—as part of her journey through the unknown.

Willis, who lives in a private home with the round-the-clock care, celebrated his 71st birthday in March. Since he's no longer acting and stays out of the public eye, fans are often curious about how he's doing and they appreciate updates on his health and well-being.

Neal McDonough Reveals Hollywood's Label of Being a 'Religious Nut Bag' Cost Him His Career

Wed, 05/27/2026 - 12:27pm

Neal McDonough is one of those Hollywood actors that fans can easily recognize, but largely because of his supporting roles on TV and film. The actor opened up about the reality of his career that hit the fan early on due to his setting boundaries and Hollywood's labeling of him.

The 60-year-old actor spoke with Fox News Digital about his new role in the Jimmy Stewart biopic, as well as the dark moments of his life as an actor. For years, many fans knew that the actor was reportedly "blacklisted" by Hollywood for his No. 1 rule of refusing to take on characters and scenes that involve kissing another woman. It was in respect for his wife, Ruve, but it ultimately led him to take on lesser roles.

“What time is the bar open? That was generally my thought process back then,” he explained. “It was, you know, fired from a show because I wouldn’t kiss a woman. No one would hire me because they thought I was this religious nut bag, which is that I love my wife so much. And no one can understand it, no one could understand it.”

The actor reveals that he was a heavy drinker, but things became a "bad problem" when he was shunned by Hollywood over refusing to kiss a co-star. As a result, McDonough and his family had lost everything from their house to their cars.

Justified was just coming out, but I still didn’t think I was worth anything because I failed my family. I failed, [my wife] Ruve, my five kids, that I lost our house. I lost all the beautiful things that were the shiny widgets that I had accumulated, were all taken away from me. And that crucifixion caused me so much inner pain because I made it all about me. How could I let the team down?" said the actor.

Justified was a 2010 Western series starring Timothy Olyphant and premiered on FX. McDonough played a supporting role as the character Robert Quarles in Season 3 of the series, with it later cancelled after its sixth season. The actor admitted that during the hard time, his friend and the late actor Luke Perry took him and his family into his own home.

While having been labeled by Hollywood, McDonough has still kept up a long filmography of TV and film roles. He starred as Sean Cahill in Suits and appeared as a recurring character in Arrow and the CW's other superhero series. He also starred in 9-1-1- Lone Ranger, Yellowstone, and Sylvester Stallone's Tulsa King. In film, he played recent roles in The Last Rodeo and will star in KJ Apa's Jimmy.
