Nancy Guthrie Update: Retired FBI Agent Defends Savannah's Sister Annie Amid Ongoing Accusations
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing more than 10 weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and a retired FBI agent just defended Savannah's sister, Annie Guthrie, amid ongoing accusations.
On Tuesday, April 14, former FBI special agent Jennifer Coffindaffer posted a video on X all about Annie and those who continue to speculate that she had something to do with Nancy's disappearance.
"A lot of people are saying she's a killer, she abducted her mom or had her abducted—not that she's 'porch guy,' but that she pulled the strings," Coffindaffer explained of online chatter. "That 'her a-- is guilty as hell,' that she's a witch and that she's a demon and she's a druggie. OK? This is what people are saying."
She pointed to Annie and her husband Tommaso Cioni's sizable net worth as a factor ruling out money as a motive. Savannah's older sister works as a director of marketing and publicity, teaches oracular writing and poetry at the university level, writes her own poetry, and sells commissioned pieces of jewelry.
"This is a woman who works hard. No signs of money problems," Coffindaffer argued, adding that Cioni is a middle school physics teacher. "They do just fine. They're not in money problems. They have one child. They have a beautiful life from all accounts."

Coffindaffer addressed another online allegation involving Annie, explaining, "They're saying the reason, her motive, is her jealousy of her sister, Savannah. That's what they're saying. Baloney!" She also pointed to several positive quotes from Savannah about her sister, as well as praise of Savannah by Annie.
In a February statement from Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, Nancy's family was officially cleared as suspects in her case.
"To be clear ... the Guthrie family—to include all siblings and spouses—has been cleared as possible suspects. The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case," he shared.
Nanos continued, "To suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims plain and simple."
Nancy was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of Jan. 31. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case, despite Savannah offering a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy's recovery.

The 1970s Fashion Trend That Jackie Kennedy Loved Is Making a Comeback This Summer

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis—known mostly as Jackie Kennedy—will forever go down in history as a fashion icon. The former First Lady exuded an indescribable sense of grace and class in all of her stylish ensembles and was at the forefront of many major fashion trends. Kennedy was particularly fond of one accessory that's making a major comeback just in time for summer 2026: head scarves.
"Jackie Kennedy was known for her refined and elegant style, but what I personally loved about her was her choice of accessories," celebrity stylist Sarah Nearis tells Parade. "In the spring and summer months, Jackie was often photographed in colorful silk scarves, especially from one of her favorite designers, Hermès. She would style them as a bandana, headband or babushka depending on her outfit."
Nearis—who has worked with Kate Beckinsale, Mariah Carey and Michelle Rodriguez—says we're about to see a revival of the 1970s fashion trend that Jackie Kennedy loved this summer.
Below, we asked the stylist to weigh in on the accessory and share her tips for choosing the best head scarf style. She's also outlining some of her go-to head scarf styles to try so you can channel your inner Jackie O.

The 1970s Trend Loved by Jackie Kennedy That's Making a Comeback This SummerNearis says Kennedy was and still is "one of the most influential fashion icons of all time."
"How she wore an ensemble had women from all over the world admiring her elegant and classic taste, often influencing how many dressed," she shares. "Monochromatic ensembles as well as silk scarves, whether worn on the head or around the neck, gained popularity and became a popular trend from her wearing them often."
Looking ahead to spring and summer 2026, Nearis says head scarves are "having a moment" that extends beyond festival season.
"Scarves are such a versatile accessory because they can be styled so many ways and add a bit of flavor to any look," she notes. "Not only can they be worn as a head and neck scarf, they can be transformed into tops and tied as a sarong over a chic pair of pants or jeans."
How To Choose the Best Head Scarf StyleIf you're new to head scarves, Nearis has a few tips for finding the right style for whatever vibe you're envisioning. For starters, the color scheme definitely matters.
"When choosing a head scarf, my number one rule is to pick options in a color palette that adheres to your current wardrobe," the stylist suggests. "When I wear a scarf, I want it to be part of the story. And as someone who wears a monochromatic or tonal wardrobe, I like to make sure my accessories are cohesive with everything in my closet."
Next, don't be afraid of playing with texture and fabric a bit.
"If I wear a full satin or silk outfit, I'd select a lace or lace trim head scarf. The mix of those two fabrics is very feminine and romantic," she states. "Think of accessories as a way to tie a look together, but they don't have to match perfectly. Pops of color, dreamy textures and materials will add a personal twist to your style."
Related: How To Layer Necklaces: 6 Best Ways, According to Celebrity Stylists
How Head Scarf Styles Are Being Updated in 2026Head scarves are hardly a new trend, but Nearis says they fit particularly well into the current fashion aesthetic.
"We are still in the minimalist, quiet luxury era, but adding a scarf is a great way to add a pop of color or fun print," she shares.
She notes that head scarf styling has "evolved significantly" since the '70s, when it "was seen as a classic feminine accessory." Now, it's often seen as a "modern it-girl staple being worn as a belt or over a baseball cap for a hint of juxtaposition."
The fabrics used to manufacture head scarves have also evolved over time.
"A classic head scarf was typically silk or cotton with a quiet or traditional pattern. Now, we see fabrics ranging from lace to crochet, which adds texture and a different element to an outfit," she says.

5 Head Scarf Styles To Try in 2026Part of the fun of head scarves is the fact that you can style the accessory so many different ways.
"I love wearing a head scarf as a top or styling it like a sarong over jeans," Nearis says. "That is my favorite thing about fashion—there is no wrong way to wear something. Especially if you put a personal twist on styling an item like a scarf, you are showing your unique style, which is the most beautiful thing."

1979 Hit Film Ranked Among ‘Best Movies of All Time’
In 1979, a war film arrived in theaters that would redefine the genre and leave an indelible mark on cinema.
Apocalypse Now, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, has since been ranked among the best movies of all time by Collider, underscoring its enduring impact and influence.
Loosely inspired by Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, the film follows Captain Benjamin Willard, a U.S. Army officer tasked with traveling deep into the Vietnam War's most dangerous territory to assassinate the rogue Colonel Kurtz. As Willard journeys upriver, he encounters increasingly surreal and unsettling situations, reflecting the chaos and psychological toll of war.
The film features standout performances from Martin Sheen as Willard and Marlon Brando as the enigmatic Kurtz, along with a memorable supporting role from Robert Duvall. Its striking visuals, ambitious storytelling and haunting atmosphere helped set it apart from other war films of its time, as did the unusual way Coppola captured Brando's performance.
"Marlon arrived; he was terribly fat," Coppola told Rolling Stone. "He hadn’t read the copy of Heart of Darkness I'd sent him; I gave him another copy, he read it, and we began to talk. There were a lot of notes that we compiled together: I'd give him some–he’d write a lot himself. I shot Marlon in a couple of weeks and then he left; everything else was shot around that footage, and what we had shot with Marlon wasn’t like a scene. It was hours and hours of him talking."
Apocalypse Now was both a critical and commercial success, earning multiple Academy Award nominations and winning Oscars for Best Cinematography and Best Sound. Its production was famously difficult, adding to the film's mythos and legacy.
"I never let not knowing how to do something stop me from trying to do it," Coppola told The Guardian about making the film. "I always got myself into those situations because it was exciting and I got to do all these wonderful, nutty things. Is the point of life just to live some normal, calm, moderately happy existence? I mean, you only get it once."
More than four decades later, the film remains a defining exploration of war, morality and human nature. Its influence can still be seen in modern filmmaking, particularly in how stories about wartime conflict are told.
With its inclusion in Collider’s ranking, Apocalypse Now stands as a testament to the power of bold, uncompromising storytelling—and its ability to resonate with audiences across generations.

Aldi Shoppers Are Obsessed With This $8 Mommy and Me Mug Set Perfect for Mother's Day

If there's one thing that Aldi knows, it's a good dupe. The grocery chain has a real knack for spotting trends and putting its own spin on them. With Mother's Day coming up, Aldi is going all in on potential gifts for the mom figures in your life, and a certain Aldi Finds aisle item looks straight out of Anthropologie—for a fraction of the price.
No, it isn't the romantic three-piece quilt set or even the pretty pink bow tableware, but rather something that lets moms everywhere share a twinning moment with their minis. And they can have this moment all while they sip their preferred libations. (Presumably coffee for one and apple juice for the other.)

Aldi's Crofton Queen Bee and Mini Me Mug Set is the sweetest way for mom and kiddo to cheers with. The matching mugs smack of Anthropologie Bistro Tile vibes, particularly the garden collection, which features many bumblebee motifs. But at just $7.99 for two mugs (albeit one smaller than the other), it's safe to say Aldi's take is much cheaper than whatever you'll find at Anthro. There, a single Bistro Tile standard-sized coffee mug costs $14.

With Aldi's Crofton Queen Bee and Mini Me Mug Set, the larger of the two mugs is labeled Queen Bee and features a series of bee and flower motifs. The smaller one says Mini Me with the exact same design.

1968 Classic Love Song Is Having a Major Resurgence 58 Years Later
In what might have been one of the most unfortunate cases of bad timing in rock history, the Zombies released what many consider to be their best album, Odessey and Oracle, after the band broke up. Still, even if that meant fans wouldn't see the band performing the songs live onstage at the time, the record has been hailed as a classic in the decades since its release, and tunes like "Time of the Season" continue to get plenty of love. Now another track from Odessey and Oracle is getting its due, thanks to one of the hottest HBO series of the moment.
If you've been watching DTF St. Louis, the black comedy/mystery starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour and Linda Cardellini, then you're aware of the show's stand-out soundtrack. Throughout the season (which wrapped up over the weekend on April 12), viewers have been treated to such nostalgic classics as Donovan's "Catch the Wind," The Kinks' "Rainy Day in June," Carole King's "Too Much Rain" and The 5th Dimension’s "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In." And in the show's penultimate episode, titled "The Denny's Plan," a beloved song from Odessey and Oracle took center stage: "This Will Be Our Year."
Written by Zombies bassist/songwriter Chris White and sung by frontman Colin Blumstone, the touching track is a tribute to love overcoming hard times:
"The warmth of your love's like the warmth from the sun / And this will be our year, took a long time to come / Don't let go of my hand, now darkness has gone / This will be our year, took a long time to come"
'This Will Be Our Year' has become a favorite wedding songUnfortunately, the song's optimistic tone isn't exactly reflected in the ending of DTF St. Louis (we won't spoil it here). However, as SPIN reported, the song has become a "fan favorite" in the years since its release, appearing in a number of other shows, too, like Mad Men and Schitt’s Creek. It's also been covered by such artists as the Foo Fighters and Susanna Hoffs and was performed by the reunited Zombies at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2019.
As drummer Hugh Grundy told People in 2017, "This Will Be Our Year" became a "favorite song to play because it's hopeful."
"You can understand why people want it played at their weddings," Grundy added. "But from my point of view, I’m playing a different type of drum pattern with it. It’s a triplet-y type feel, which is absolutely great to play."
"I’ve actually sung it at my son’s wedding, and at my wife’s sister’s wedding as they walked down the aisle," White revealed in the same interview, adding, "We met Graham Nash at the Hall of Fame, and he said his girlfriend wants 'This Will Be Our Year' played at his wedding—and not one of his songs! He was lovely about that."

2023 Hit Film Ranked Among 'Best Movies of All Time' Is Getting a Sequel
For those who've heard of Godzilla, would you believe the franchise has already released over 35 monster movies?
The 37th was Godzilla Minus One, which hit the masses in 2023 to both critical and commercial acclaim. The story centers on a kamikaze pilot plagued by survivor's guilt who seeks redemption once a giant monster he failed to kill — yes, you guessed the one — is transformed by radiation from atomic bomb tests and lays siege to post-war Japan.
Minus One went on to earn $116 million worldwide on just a $15 million budget, making it the highest-grossing Japanese Godzilla film of all time and country’s third biggest release in 2023, Variety reports. It also won an Academy Award at the 2024 ceremony for Best Achievement in Visual Effects.
Now comes the sequel. The same writer and director of Minus One just graced CinemaCon to preview his highly anticipated follow-up, Godzilla Minus Zero. Per Variety, the first trailer was shown to attendees of the Las Vegas movie-theater convention, where Takashi Yamazaki revealed that the film continues the story of the survivors from the monster's last attack...
And for an epic United States tie-in, Godzilla even stomps his way toward the Statue of Liberty in the teaser's thrilling final moment — clearly setting his sights on New York City. Fans can now watch the clip on YouTube following a countdown period Tuesday, April 14. Check it out below.
Fans have already flooded the upload's comments section to show their excitement for the upcoming release. "BOYS WE ARE AT UNPRECEDENTED LEVELS OF BACK," wrote one YouTube user, while another person commented, "Forget Doomsday & Dune! This is my movie of the year!!!!"
CinemaCon viewers reportedly saw a behind-the-scenes sizzle reel as well, which showed off the elaborate sets and props created for the Minus Zero — such as bomber jets, destroyed cities and a mini Godzilla model, per Variety.
Minus Zero will release in the U.S. on November 6 and in Japan on November 3. Mark your calendars!
The Brazilian Way To Make Bread Rolls 10x Better
Can you imagine a world without bread? Burgers with no bun or tacos without a shell—it would be chaos. Sure, you can enjoy pizza toppings on their own or indulge in butter chicken sans naan, but why deprive yourself of those sweet, sweet carbs? Seriously, what good is a gyro without the pita? Bread is one of the most ubiquitous foods, with various forms appearing in virtually every cuisine on the planet. It can be a vehicle for ingredients, a side or the main dish altogether, and no matter how it's prepared, we'll almost always have seconds.
When it comes to true bread supremacy, though, we've all got our personal carb-filled Mount Rushmore. Lavash, ciabatta, focaccia, brioche, sourdough, pita—you get it. Personally, I'm all about a roll. Pillowy soft yeast rolls like the ones at Texas Roadhouse, Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Red Lobster, cornbread muffins slathered in whipped hot honey butter.... My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
But there is one bread roll that truly deserves a spot on your table, whether you're enjoying it on its own or having it with a traditional Brazilian churrasco feast. Pão de queijo (aka Brazilian cheese bread) is Brazil's answer to the roll, and once you try it, you'll definitely get the hype.
Related: The Brazilian Way To Make Iced Coffee Taste 10x Better
Brazilian cheese bread, better known as pão de queijo, is a crispy, chewy bread roll traditionally made with cassava flour and queijo minas, a semi-soft cow's milk cheese similar to queso fresco. The rolls are a staple of Brazilian cuisine and are often served warm for breakfast with coffee or tea. You'll also find them on dinner tables as appetizers or side dishes, and might even see them sliced in half to make sandwiches.
Unlike typical wheat-based bread rolls, pão de queijo is naturally gluten-free, making it a perfect little bite for people with gluten sensitivities. They're cheesy, incredibly addictive and don't take long to whip up at home. While there's truly no substitute for taking a trip down to Pindorama and trying homemade authentic ones, or at the very least, making your way to Fogo de Chao, making them at home is well worth the effort. And who knows, you might end up making them on repeat at the beginning of every week.

Ingredients Needed for Brazilian Cheese BreadKenn C. Bivins
The best part about making pão de queijo is that, aside from cassava flour (also known as tapioca starch), you likely already have everything you need on hand. All you’ll need is:
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup of olive oil
- ⅔ cup of milk
- 1 ½ cup tapioca starch or cassava flour
- ½ cup of grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella, preferably)
- ½ tsp salt
Kenn C. Bivins
For tapioca starch, you can typically find it in the baking aisle at most grocery stores or buy it on Amazon. We went with a bag of Bob's Red Mill, which also conveniently includes a recipe on the back in case you need one. Once you've gathered your ingredients, they come together in no time.

How To Make Brazilian Cheese BreadDespite how intimidating it might sound, making pão de queijo couldn't be easier. Simply toss everything into a blender and blend until thoroughly combined. You're going for a relatively thick uniform batter, without any lumps.
Kenn C. Bivins
From there, spoon the batter into greased muffin tins, filling them just above halfway to prevent overflow. The only thing left to do is bake them in a 400°F oven for about 20 minutes until they're puffed and golden brown on top.
Kenn C. Bivins
Alternatively, you can make the bread by skipping the blender and rolling the dough into balls by hand instead. To make them this way, you would need to heat your milk and oil on the stove top and then combine the mixture with the tapioca flour, eggs and cheese before portioning out your rolls. This method will give you more of that classic roll look and also allows the cheese to keep more of its integrity and become gooey in the oven.
Kenn C. Bivins
After you've pulled your golden-brown rolls from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before popping them out and serving them warm. They're great on their own, but you can also enjoy them with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, dunk them in molho de alho or dulce de leche, or slather them with butter.

Brazilian Cheese Bread Recipe Tips and TricksThe best part about making pão de queijo is that you can pretty much adjust the recipe to your personal preference and experiment with different flavorings and spices to make them your own. Don't be afraid to think outside the box and get creative. Here are a few of our tips and tricks for success.
Kenn C. Bivins
- Level Them Off: If you're using a muffin tin as I did, don't be afraid to smooth out the batter before baking to get a nice, even top for a picture-perfect finish. Because they puff up in the oven, some of mine baked up a bit wonky-looking, but still turned out very delicious.
- Get Creative with Cheese: While you might have a hard time finding traditional queijo minas, you can sub it for Parmesan, queso fresco, or even cheddar or mozzarella. You can also mix cheeses to give your rolls a more nuanced flavor profile.
- Season Like You Mean It: Although seasoning is purely a matter of taste, this recipe benefits from a decent amount of salt to really highlight the cheesy flavor. You can also throw in garlic powder or oregano, and maybe even swap some of the milk for a more flavorful liquid. We could see birria consume working great here.
- Serve Them Straight From the Oven: Not that they'll last for more than a minute out of the oven, but you'll want to be sure to serve these while they're warm. Once they've cooled, they'll last one to two days at room temp or up to a week in the fridge. You can also make the dough ahead of time and store it in the freezer for up to three months.

Rebecca Kauffman’s Signature Storytelling StyleKnown for writing character-driven literary fiction that explores interconnected lives in everyday moments, Kauffman has built a reputation for using ensemble casts and linked narratives in her books, allowing the story to unfold through multiple perspectives. Her earlier works, including Chorus and I’ll Come to You, showcase a style that has become a defining characteristic of her writing and helped establish her as a unique and distinctive voice in contemporary fiction.
Inside The ReservationThe Reservation (2026) centers on a single high-stakes day at a celebrated Midwestern fine-dining establishment. On the morning of an important reservation—famed author John Grisham has made a reservation—22 steaks are discovered missing from the kitchen. As the staff scrambles to prepare for the evening, tensions rise and suspicions spread among the restaurant’s employees.
Each chapter focuses on a different character’s point of view, from chefs and servers to managers and dishwashers. With the mystery of the missing steaks simmering in the background, the story dives deeper into personal struggles, relationships, and the hidden lives of the people who work behind the scenes.
One of the most anticipated books of 2026, The Reservation is less a traditional mystery and more an ensemble narrative that uses a central incident as a lens to explore human connection, ambition, and the emotional complexity of everyday life, all with a side of humor.
Fun, indeed.

1990 Classic Film Ranked Among 'Best Movies of All Time'
After The Godfather cemented the gangster genre as a box office powerhouse, audiences were eager for more. In 1990, Martin Scorsese delivered a fresh take with a new crime drama led by Hollywood heavyweights Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Lorraine Bracco.
Nicholas Pileggi's 1985 nonfiction book Wiseguy became the backdrop and inspiration for Scorsese's Goodfellas. The film has often been ranked as one of the greatest films ever made by Rotten Tomatoes, with the site calling it one of the highest points of the director's career.
Goodfellas takes place in 1955 in the heart of mafia presence in an Italian-American neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. Teenager Henry Hill (Liotta) becomes enamored by the gangster lifestyle and begins to work for local caporegime Paulie Cicero and his associates Jimmy Conway (De Niro) and Tommy DeVito (Pesci). The film soon follows Henry's rise and fall in the gangster criminal world and how it affects his life and family well into the '80s.
Scorsese's film became a smashing success that rivaled The Godfather due to its take on raw, inner-perspective storytelling. While based on a real-life mob associate, it immersed audiences in the day-to-day reality instead of glamorizing the mob. It pulls viewers directly into Henry Hill’s world in a way that feels almost personal and documentary-like with voiceover narrations. Goodfellas feels brutally honest, and it's exactly what Scorsese intended.

Before the development of the film, Scorsese had no intentions of making another mob movie until reading Pileggi's book. He was always fascinated by the mob lifestyle and felt Pileggie's work was an honest portrayal. In the biography, Martin Scorsese: A Journey, the director explained, "The [Wiseguy] book gives you a sense of the day-to-day life, the tedium, how they work, how they take over certain nightclubs, and for what reasons. It shows how it's done."
Reports also claim that Scorsese cold-called Pileggi to tell him he had been waiting for the book his entire life, with the author responding that he had been waiting for the phone call his entire life. To secure financing for the film, it all came down to De Niro once he agreed to play the role of Jimmy. Many of the cast reported to have used Pileggi's excess research material to get into character, and ad-libbed popular scenes, with Liotta even going as far as listening to FBI tapes.
Goodfellas ended up becoming a staple of Hollywood cinema and the mobster genre. It's become a cult classic despite its box office run of $47.1 million against its $25 million budget. Critics applauded it as one of the "finer films" about organized crime.

9 Years Ago Today, a Franchise Film Set the Biggest Global Opening Weekend Record, Surpassing 'Star Wars'
The Fast & the Furious franchise has seen plenty of success since the first film was released on June 22, 2001.
Starring the late Paul Walker as undercover cop Brian O’Conner and Vin Diesel as a street racing leader named Dominic Toretto, the action film evolved from its street racer roots to a saga of spies and heists, becoming the longest-running racing series, set to conclude with its 12th installment, Fast Forever, on March 17, 2028.
But nearly a year short of a decade ago, on April 14, 2017, the eighth installment, titled The Fate of the Furious, directed by F. Gary Gray, hit theaters and made history.
With Diesel reprising his role and Dwayne “The Rock “Johnson, who joined the franchise in 2011 as federal agent Luke Hobbs in the fifth film titled Fast Five, it opened worldwide with the highest-grossing weekend at the time, bringing in $532 million.
The Universal Pictures film set the record for the biggest opening of all time at the global box office, including $98.8 million from the U.S. and Canada and $433.2 million from 63 international territories, per ComingSoon.Net.
The franchise hit peak-level success, overtaking the record previously held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($529 million) and its predecessor, Jurassic World ($316.7 million).
Ultimately, it grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide total, setting yet another record as one of the highest-grossing films of 2017, according to Box Office Mojo. It even became one of the biggest releases in China ever at the time, becoming a huge driver at the global box office, per The Hollywood Reporter.
While there was plenty of momentum and interest in the franchise, it also marked the first film after Walker’s tragic death in a car accident in 2013, during a pause from filming Furious 7. The seventh installment had the bigger total box office opening with a worldwide gross of around $1.5 billion, boosted by the emotional impact of his death.
Walker remains a core part of the franchise legacy even after his death.
The synopsis for The Fate of the Furious reads, “With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has found some semblance of a normal life. They soon face an unexpected challenge when a woman named Cipher forces Dom to betray them all. They must unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop Cipher from unleashing chaos.”
It also starred Jason Statham as Deckard, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Ludacris as Tej Parker, Charlize Theron as Cipher and Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody.
In terms of how the film ranks compared to the others, Variety put it as number 3 on the list, with Furious 7 taking the top spot.
A Popular Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll Flavor Is Coming Back—and Fans Are Thrilled
Pillsbury fans are ready for summer—and so is the company, apparently.
The beloved brand of boxed cake mix and ready-to-bake treats knows that as the weather warms up, fans don't just turn off their ovens and stop baking. But the flavors they're looking to enjoy certainly do change.
Gone for the season (from shelves and the minds of fans) are the peppermints, gingerbreads and spice cakes, as lighter, brighter, or fruitier flavors are favored for spring and summer. So while Pillsbury's Hot Cocoa Rolls have disappeared from shelves, another chocolatey replacement finally appears to be on the way. Joining Pillsbury's new Blueberry Crumble and Apple Pie-flavored cookie doughs are its returning Grands S'mores Rolls.
Pillsbury Grands S'mores Rolls Return for the 2026 SeasonJust like the classic campfire treat, Pillsbury's refrigerated dough features chocolate and marshmallow flavors in the style of its classic Grands Cinnamon Rolls. So instead of cinnamon-and-sugar bits, the roll is stuffed with a fudgy, chocolatey filling and topped with marshmallow-flavored icing, per an official retailer's description.

The limited-time item first appeared on the market about a decade ago, when the s'mores craze was starting to really take off, joining other consumer favorites like "S'mOREOs." And in the nearly 10 years since the rolls debuted, the flavor has remained just as popular, with more recent additions like Pillsbury's S'mores Big Cookies, Pop-Tarts S'mores Ice Cream Sandwiches and Little Bites S'mores Muffins winning over snackers.
"I'll eat a cardboard box if it was smores flavored," one fan joked on Facebook.
"Anything S'mores yes plz" a second agreed, while a third cheered, "Yummy! I love smores anything."
"This sounds so good," someone else said of the Pillsbury Grands.
"Love s'mores!" a different fan said with applause, adding that they're "definitely going to try these."
"oh i absolutely need!" another gushed.
One more suggested adding "some graham on top to really tie the smores concept."
Where Will Pillsbury's S'mores Rolls Be Available?Although Pillsbury's returning S'mores Rolls haven't hit its official website yet, a current product listing shows them available in 17.5-ounce cans (yielding five big rolls) at Walmart for $4.37 (prices may vary). Some eagle-eyed shoppers have also spotted the item in store at select locations, per trusted food blogger Markie_devo, so even if it's not available for delivery, it may be worth perusing the grocery aisles at your local Walmart the next time you're there.
Whether the item is exclusive to the mega retailer is currently unclear, but it's likely that Walmart is just the first to list it, and it will be found at other stores later this season as stocks of the springtime favorite Strawberry and Cream Cinnamon Rolls begin to deplete.

1995 Film Named 'Greatest Heist Thriller of All Time' Almost Didn’t Happen
Thirty years after its release, Heat has been named one of the “Greatest Heist Thrillers of All Time” by Collider — and one of the most perfect crime films ever made. But the project almost never got off the ground.
The film centers on Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro), a professional criminal pulling off heists across Los Angeles, and Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino), the obsessive LAPD detective determined to bring him down.
The closer the two get, the clearer the parallel becomes. Both men are consumed by their work and are losing the people around them because of it. It all builds toward a legendary downtown shootout and a final face-off between the pair.
But more than the plot, the film's biggest draw was its casting. Pacino and De Niro had previously co-starred in The Godfather Part II without ever sharing a scene. Heat finally changed that — and that alone made it one of the most anticipated films in years.
As it turns out, that famous diner scene, the first time the two icons appeared on screen together, wasn't rehearsed.
“Al and I didn’t rehearse the scene,” De Niro admitted to the crowd at Tribeca Festival in 2022. “We just thought it was better just to do it.”
Pacino credited the scene's success to his co-star's instincts. "You can do anything with Bob," he said. "No matter what you do, he's going to hear it, react to it and connect to it. That's a real luxury."
Despite its reputation, Heat was largely overlooked during awards season, earning nominations only at the Saturn Awards. What's perhaps most surprising, though, is how close it came to never happening at all.
Michael Mann originally wrote the story in the late 1970s and tried to bring it to life as a TV movie called L.A. Takedown, which aired in 1989 and flopped. For years, the project went nowhere.
Mann eventually reworked it as a feature in the early 1990s, but it wasn't until De Niro and Pacino came aboard that the financing fell into place and the film could finally move forward.
The thriller was intended as a standalone — but that hasn't stopped fans from wanting more. When Pacino was asked who should play Lt. Hanna in a sequel, he had a quick answer.
“Timothée Chalamet,” he said. “I mean, he’s a wonderful actor. Great looks.”
As it turns out, a sequel is already in the works. Based on the 2022 novel Heat 2, the film will explore the characters before and after the events of the original.
"It’s been my intention for a long time to do the further stories of ‘Heat,’” Man told Deadline. "There was always a rich history or back-story about the events in these people’s lives before 1995 in ‘Heat’ and projection of where their lives would take them after."

1981 Film Was Just Ranked the 'Most Underrated Action Movie' of the Last 100 Years
Action, with its explosions, dramatic dialogue, and heart-racing scenes, is one of the most popular movie genres. However, not all action films get the love they deserve.
In April 2026, the publication Collider shared a list of the top 10 "Most Underrated Action Movies" that were released within the last 100 years. The ranking featured acclaimed action films like The Driver from 1978, Blue Ruin, released in 2013, 1985's To Live and Die in L.A., The Hitcher from 1986, and 1967's Point Blank.
Collider named Thief, released in 1981, as the number one most underrated action movie since 1926. The publication reported that the Michael Mann-directed movie deserved the title because it's a visually appealing, highly detailed, and entertaining heist film.
Thief's star late actor James Caan shared that he had great appreciation for the 1981 crime movie in a 2020 interview.
"I mean I've done 100 and some pictures, I'm most proud of I think if there were two or three pictures, Thief is certainly one of them," said Caan, who played Frank in the film.
Caan also said that Mann, who also wrote the film, approached him with the script. The Elf star said he took an immediate liking to the "subject matter" and the character of Frank, and helped the movie get made.
"I had a little power in those days. I was fairly popular at one time, so we put it together right away. Jerry Bruckheimer was a producer," said Caan, who died in 2022 at the age of 82.
In the 2020 interview, Caan shared that Mann worked with an intensity while shooting Thief, which benefitted the film.
"He's a workaholic. He was very focused, Napoleonic actually, and, you know, he's a loon. But he's good. We'd start like Monday morning at six o'clock, or 5:30, some stupid hour, right? And then he'd work 'til 8 o'clock at night," recalled Caan. "I mean it was brutal. 18 hours as nuts as that sounds was kind of fairly ordinary for us. But it was tough like that. And Michael was pretty precise in a good way."
Tombstone Just Gave Its Viral Pizza a Major Upgrade, and Fans Are Already Drooling
Tombstone has taken one of its unique pizza options and elevated it to an entirely new level. Fans of Tombstone's French Fry Style Crust Pizza can now get it in a garlic parmesan style.
Tombstone teases, "For anyone who loves pizza and loaded fries, this is your dream mashup." It's described as a "bold twist on frozen pizza," and has a creamy garlic sauce paired with parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and garlic seasoning.
All of that garlicy-parmesan goodness is layered on top of Tombstone's unique potato-based, French fry-style crust, which it initially launched last year.
Related: Tombstone Pizza Makes Late-Night Dreams Come True With Bold Launch
Tombstone's French fry-style pizza crust is already a popular item, in large part because it is gluten-free. Initially, the company released a loaded bacon cheddar version along with a chili cheese option.
The new Garlic Parm Tombstone French Fry Crust Pizza keeps the gluten-free crust and ups the ante with the "bold texture and comfort food vibes" of the new flavor combination.
The Candy Hunting Instagram account posted about the new Tombstone pizza on April 13. Along with the Tombstone debut, the Instagram post noted that Red Baron is also releasing several new Crunch Time options.
View this post on InstagramWhile fans are eager to check out each of the new pizza variations, the Tombstone Garlic Parm option was the clear favorite among those Instagram users who commented on the post.
"What stores??? I'm drooling over garlic parm one," one comment read.
Another Instagram user added, "Oooh garlic parm?? Yes please! I loved the last 2 flavors they had out for the French fry crust!"
According to an Instagram post by SnackWire, the new version of Tombstone pizza will be available in stores soon.
The search option on Tombstone's website indicates that this new flavor may be available in some areas already. However, it appears to be fairly limited at this point.
It seems that Kroger will be one option, as will Shop Rite. It seems likely that additional retailers will begin to have the product available as the Tombstone Garlic Parm French Fry Style Crust Pizza fully rolls out into stores soon.
