Stone Senate, the underground cult-favorite country rock band, announced devastating news ahead of their highly anticipated tour.

With a slew of bands reuniting and embarking on major tours, the five-piece lineup consisting of lead vocalist Clint Woolsey, James Beau Edwards on lead guitar and vocals, Brother Ted Hennington on lead guitar and vocals, Kieran Cronley on bass, and David "DZ" Zettler on drums delivered an unexpected announcement that left fans disappointed.

In an Instagram post, the band released an official statement announcing the cancellation of their upcoming European tour.

“It is with deepest regret that we must announce that due to a health issue with one of the members of the band, we will have to cancel the European Tour scheduled for September/ October of 2026. An ongoing battle with a bad fracture, which led to a bone infection and a torn Achilles tendon, has temporarily sidelined Clint, our singer/frontman. Rather than simply postpone the tour, we must cancel as we learn his prognosis and get a realistic timeline for getting him back to 100% tour readiness without the risk of further injury,” the caption reads.

Moreover, Stone Senate also took the opportunity to thank fans for “understanding” despite the sudden cancellation. Lastly, the band hinted at their return in 2027.

Following the announcement, the band, especially Woolsey, received heartwarming gestures and messages from fans through Instagram.

“Get Well Soon Clint,” one wrote.

“So sorry to hear. Get well and take care of Clint!” a fan added.

“Oh no. Clint, please rest and recover... and find out what’s happening...” a commenter said.

The same goes for another user who is hopeful for his comeback.

“Get well soon, we want to see you in Zaragoza soon,” another echoed.

Woolsey once revealed that the band had long planned to launch a European tour and that everything finally fell into place after a long search for the right opportunity.

“We have talked about wanting to go over to Europe for years,” he told Nashville Bypass, adding, “Always trying to find the right opportunity, the right promoters, and stuff. We needed someone to make the logistics work. We finally teamed up with a company called Teenage Hit Music. They’re based out of Brussels. The owner, a guy named Manny, I emailed him around last Christmas. I knew he worked with a bunch of American bands, and he hit me back immediately and said we’d been on his radar already.”

The recently canceled show was part of Stone Senate’s first leg of their European tour.

The first leg was scheduled in January with 17 tour dates across 15 cities, covering France, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia and the Netherlands.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off became a cult comedy classic of the late '80s that has stood the test of time. It's been 40 years since the release of the film, with Alan RuckandMatthew Broderick reuniting for a new project and talking about the scenario of a would-be sequel.

In an interview with Today, Ruck and Brodertick are still shocked at how many years have passed since starring in the 1986 film. Ruck admitted that it was "mind-boggling," seeing as they were in their 20's when it originally premiered. Both actors are now in their 60s with plenty of on-screen credits between them.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off became a hit among audiences as Broderick played the title role as a high school teen taking a day off from school. He's joined by his hypochondriac best friend, Cameron Frye, and girlfriend, Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara), as they unintentionally wreak havoc across the city and have one of the best days of their lives.

When it comes to a sequel installment to the iconic film, Ruck teases that he's always had a specific idea in mind.

“My joke always was, when people said, ‘Will there be a sequel?’ I said, ‘We’re going to wait until our 70s and Cameron’s in a home, and then Ferris comes and liberates him… And we go and do a bunch of nasty stuff, and then Cameron dies," he revealed.

It's the age-old question among fans when it comes to a one-off cult classic. Over the years, the cast have been open about their thoughts on a new installment. Broderick has previously said he's open to the idea if it were done right without ruining its legacy. Ruck, on the other hand, has been the most enthusiastic about theories of where the characters ended up. Before his death, director and writer John Hughes shut down any possibility of a sequel and believed the film was meant as a stand-alone.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off fans will get to see Ruck and Broderick on screen again, but not as their original characters. The two have teamed up for a new comedy film titled The Best Is Yet to Come, based on the French film of the same name. The actors play lifelong friends who embark on a bucket list adventure after mistakenly believing the other is terminally ill.

Even after 40 years since appearing in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Broderick felt like "no time had passed" between them working on the new film.

Harry is coming back! Fans of the sci-fi show Resident Alien are ecstatic over the news that everyone's favorite milk-guzzling alien is returning for a fourth season. The show found a new audience when the first two seasons arrived on Netflix ahead of the Season 3 premiere, and the show has only picked up steam from there. Here's what you need to know about Harry and Season 4 of Resident Alien.

What is Resident Alien about?

Based on a comic book series of the same name, Resident Alien follows an alien whose mission is to destroy all life on earth. Before he can complete his mission, his ship crash lands in the remote town of Patience, Colorado. He must find the lost parts of his ship so he can destroy earth and go home. To stay incognito, he takes on the human form of a local resident, Dr. Harry Vanderspiegle (Alan Tudyk) and is roped into a murder investigation of the town doctor. The show follows Harry's adventures as he searches for pieces of his lost ship, discovers kindness and humanity, all while planning revenge on his arch nemesis, a young boy named Max (Judah Prehn) who can see through his human cloaking device.

What happened in Season 1 of Resident Alien?

Season 1 of Resident Alien sets up how and why Harry arrives on earth. On a mission to destroy the earth and all of mankind, Harry's ship is hit by lightning causing him to crash land on earth with parts of his ship scattered in the vicinity where he landed. To remain under the radar while he searches for the missing pieces of his ship, he kills Dr. Harry Vanderspiegle and takes on his identity. He lives a quiet, unassuming life learning how to behave and speak like a human through Law & Order reruns until the local sheriff (Corey Reynolds) calls on him to help with the murder investigation and autopsy of the town doctor. Somewhat intrigued he agrees to help and is forced to deal with other humans in the process. As he takes on the role of the interim town doctor, he learns more about humans and their behavior. He comes across a young boy, Max (Judah Prehn), who is the only one that can see past his human cloak and the two become instant enemies but later become friends.

As Harry finds the missing pieces of his ship and the device that will destroy the earth, a nefarious military covert operation is on the hunt for him. Deciding not to destroy the earth, Harry is able to fix his ship and is on his way home when he discovers a stowaway on board.

What happened in Season 2 of Resident Alien?

When returning to Earth to bring back a stowaway—Max, Harry's ship was damaged and Harry temporarily lost his memory.

After Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) discovered Harry's true form, he wiped their memories from that day. The memory gap causes Liv to question a few things which leads to her investigating the missing day.

Needing parts for his radio device so he can phone home, Harry attempts to romance Kate's (Meredith Garretson) cousin, Carlyn (AlexBorstein) so he can swipe her keycard and gain entry to her lab. Later, he and Asta (Sara Tomko) go on a hike in hopes of sending a message back to his home planet but several tag-a-longs hinder their plans.

General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) continues to interrogate Dr. Ethan Stone (Michael Cassidy), the doctor they mistakenly picked up thinking he was an alien.

Much to his surprise, Harry learns he has a human daughter, Liza (Taylor Rockwell), who arrives in Patience after rebelling against her mom and the real Harry's ex-wife.

Sadly, we said goodbye to 42, Harry's cephalopod cousin (voiced by Nathan Fillion), but we said goodbye in the most hysterical Resident Alien fashion as Harry tried to resuscitate his cousin by giving him mouth-to-mouth in front of a horrified Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke) and her bewildered dog.

Harry and Asta headed to New York in search of a possible alien relative of his. They discovered an alien named Goliath (David Bianchi) who had a Banksy-like existence as an artist. Unfortunately, by the time they tracked Goliath down, he was dead, but he did leave a little present for Harry.

Next, Everything You Need to Know About Resident Alien Season 1

Their New York adventure ended with a dead Agent Casper (Mandell Maughan), goons from the mysterious Galvan/Powell Group hot on their trail with a connection to the real Harry and Dr. Hodges (Jan Bos), and an alien hybrid egg.

After returning home, the two must contend with well-meaning friends and family, the Galvan/Powell goons and the alien hybrid egg hatching.

With a Baby Harry (Andrea Geones) on the loose, Asta and Harry try to keep the party-goers in the cabin while Harry looks for Goliath's child. He eventually stumbles upon him as Baby Harry attaches himself to Harry with a message from Goliath warning him that there are other aliens on their way to Earth to destroy all mankind. The baby quickly escapes when Harry is fired upon by the goon from Galvan/Powell, and Asta is forced to kill him in order to save Harry's life.

And that's just the first half of season 2!

The second half saw Asta dealing with the repercussions of her actions as others in town deal with various events in their lives. The murder investigation was the main focus of the first few episodes of the second half of the season with Mayor Ben (Levi Fiehler) trying to shift the investigation to the nearby rival town of Jessup. The investigation also brought in a potential love interest for Sheriff Mike with Jessup Detective Lena Torres (Nicola Correia-Damude).

D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund) decided to get back into skiing but her old injuries caused her to seek pain meds which she then got addicted to, but after realizing she was on a downward spiral, she sought help from Asta.

Mayor Ben was trying to convince the whole town to get on board with the idea of a resort in Patience, but after Kate jumped off the resort bandwagon, he eventually saw the error of his ways and discarded the idea, much to Sheriff Mike's dismay.

We learned that Goliath was really Harry from the future and the message from him implanted into Baby Harry was a warning of what went wrong in Harry's timeline and what he could do to fix it.

Liv asked Peter the Alien Tracker (Terry O'Quinn) for help. When he arrived in Patience, it was a surprise not only to Liv, but also to Asta and Harry. Once enemies, Peter and Harry finally teamed up to infiltrate the government bunker which held Baby Harry and also Peter's son! Though the Alien Tracker lost his life saving his son, Harry "adopted" Robert (Paul Piaskowski).

Robert was later abducted again by the Greys. We also learned that Ben had been abducted (and likely not his first time) as well as his unborn child.

D'arcy learned of Harry's true identity. Who in Patience will be the next to discover Harry's secret?

What happened in Season 3 of Resident Alien?

In season 3 of Resident Alien, Harry fell in love with a Blue Avian (Edi Patterson) who came to serve him with an eviction notice to vacate Earth. After she finds herself stuck on the planet after D'arcy throws some fruit into her portal and breaks it, she succumbs to her attraction to Harry and the two become a couple. She is later forced to spy on him and collect his DNA after Joseph (Enver Gjokaj), a grey-hybrid alien threatens her family so she breaks up with Harry and leaves the planet.

After Kate is becoming more uncomfortable in their own home, Ben suggests a family getaway... to Yellowstone. Harry invites himself along for their family vacation and discovers the Greys master plan—to create a natural bomb that would alter the atmosphere so that only the Greys can survive in,  causing all life on Earth to cease. Kate, believing she has been abducted by aliens, goes to Harry to have the chip in the back of her neck removed. Harry hypnotizes her and when he brings her out of it, he allows her to remember everything. She tells Ben what she knows and Ben makes an appointment with Dr. Smallwood (Eleanor Walker) to have both of their chips removed, but when the time comes, Kate decides not to because she's determined to rescue their daughter from the Greys.

In order to stop the Greys, Harry develops a bomb which D'arcy steals in order to save the day. Unfortunately, she is captured by the Greys and the bomb confiscated. In an effort to save her and mankind, Harry and Asta, along with Bridget/Baby Harry, go to save her. D'arcy ends up helping Kate rescue the Hawthorne's baby girl and Robert, Peter's son, who is already on the ship, helps them to escape.

Back on Earth, Sahar makes Max apologize to Harry and call a truce but when Harry opens the door, Max screams because he sees not Harry the Alien, but the Mantid disguised as Harry! We then see Harry in the jail cell the Mantid once occupied. He's there with Bridget, in a cage of his own. Earlier in the Season 3 finale episode, we saw the Mantid devour another alien who had been put in the cell with him. Now, with the Mantid on Earth, he has a whole buffet to choose from!

Will there be more seasons of Resident Alien?

Absolutely! Resident Alien was renewed for a fourth season. The show has consistently garnered great reviews and ratings, placing it in the Top 15 most-watched cable series and Top 5 cable drama series.

What will happen in Season 4 of Resident Alien?

The fourth season starts with Harry and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. Asta and D’arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren’t caused by anything human.

Meet the cast of Resident Alien Alan Tudyk as Harry Vanderspeigle Alan Tudyk (Dr. Harry Vanderspiegle)

Alan Tudyk portrays the show's title character, an alien of the extraterrestrial sort whose original mission was to destroy all human life but after he crashes on Earth, he tries to quietly live out his days in a small Colorado town while he searches for parts of his ship. Tudyk heads behind the camera for his directorial debut. He'll direct the first two episodes of Season 4.

Tudyk is best known for his roles on Firefly, Dollhouse and Doom Patrol. He has also voiced a variety of characters on shows like American Dad, Rick and Morty and Devil May Care and on movies such as Wreck-It-Ralph, Moana and Aladdin.

Sara Tomko as Asta Twelvetrees Sara Tomko (Asta Twelvetrees)

Asta is a nurse who befriends Harry when he is asked to investigate her former boss's death at the beginning of the series. It's her humanity and kindness that causes Harry to question whether he should complete his original mission. She discovers who Harry really is after he is injured when the two fall into a crevasse.

Judah Prehn as Max Hawthorne Judah Prehn (Max Hawthorne)

Max is the mayor's son and is the only one who can see who Harry really is. At first the two were mortal enemies but over the course of the first season, they come to an understanding and become friends. In season 2, he was back to being Harry's nemesis (for awhile anyway) as he takes some alien technology to stop Harry from leaving again.

Corey Reynolds as Sheriff Mike Thompson Corey Reynolds (Sheriff Mike Thompson)

The sheriff lives by a code and will arrest anyone who dare defies it. We learn more about his past in season 2 and why he relocated to Colorado. At the end of Season 3, Sheriff Mike sees an alien - or did he?

Liv is the town's beloved deputy and her calm and collected demeanor is a good contrast to the sheriff. She had her own UFO encounter as a child, but was reluctant to talk about it until now.

The young town mayor is a bit meek but he'll fight for what he believes in. In season 1, when it appeared that his family was in mortal danger, he did not hesitate to jump in to save the day.

Meredith Garretson Meredith Garretson (Kate Hawthorne)

Kate is Ben's wife and Max's mom. She's also a teacher at the local elementary school. She learns her baby was stolen from her woomb by the Greys and she is hell bent on getting on her back. She doesn't realize that D'arcy saved her child from the Greys, but must now keep her hidden lest the Greys come back for the baby.

Fun fact: Garretson and Tomko have been friends for years and were both separately cast in Resident Alien.

Alice Wetterlund as D'Arcy Bloom Alice Wetterlund (D'arcy Bloom)

D'arcy was a former skier who was injured during one of her mogul runs at the Olympics, ending her Olympic career. Not only is she a bartender at the local watering hole, but she is also a member of the avalanche control team and was instrumental in rescuing Harry and Asta after the three of them fell into a crevasse. Some days she can be described as the town drunk, but on other days she is the town's badass hero.

Gary Farmer as Dan Twelvetrees Gary Farmer (Dan Twelvetrees)

Asta's adoptive father runs the local diner and is steeped in the traditions of his Ute Native American tribe. When Harry is injured with only Asta to help, she calls upon her father to assist her, allowing Dan to see what Harry really is.

Kaylayla Raine as Jay Kaylayla Raine (Jay)

Jay is the daughter Asta gave up when she was a teen. Asta has kept tabs on her over the years and hired her as an intern at the Patience Health Clinic where she works. She's accidentally outed as Asta's biological daughter by Harry which causes a rift in Jay and Asta's relationship.

Linda Hamilton as General McCallister Linda Hamilton (General McCallister)

After a supernatural encounter as a child, General McCallister now runs a covert operation seeking out alien life. Hamilton is best known for her role as Sarah Connor in the Terminator movies.

Fun fact: Hamilton's son, Dalton, played an infant John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Jenna Lamia as Judy Cooper Jenna Lamia (Judy Cooper)

Judy has lived in Patience all her life and is childhood friends with the rest of the gang - Asta, D'arcy, Liv, and Ben. She's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she provides viewers a lot of laughs.

Fun fact: Lamia has written and directed several episodes of Resident Alien!

Sarah Podemski as Kayla Sarah Podemski (Kayla)

Podemski plays Kayla, a cousin of Asta's. Podemski is a First Nations actress and is best known for her role on Reservation Dogs. She has previously appeared on Hudson & Rex, Tin Star, and Coroner.

Fun fact:Podemski's sister IRL, Jennifer Podemski, plays Rachel, Kayla's sister on the show!

Diana Bang as Ellen Diana Bang (Ellen Cho)

Ellen is one of the nurses that works with Asta and Harry and is very much a thorn in Harry's side. She steals his yogurts from the office fridge and is a general annoyance to Harry.

Nicola Correia-Damude as Detective Lena Torres Nicola Correia-Damude (Detective Lena Torres)

Torres is a detective from the neighboring town of Jessup with a big city background similar to Sheriff Mike (hers is NYPD, his is DC). The chemistry between the two is quite evident (especially to Liv).

Gracelyn Awad Rinke as Sahar Gracelyn Awad Rinke (Sahar)

Sahar is Max's friend who's in on the secret of Harry's true identity. She and Max continue to thwart Harry at every turn and take every opportunity to annoy him! She leaves for a school for the gifted but returns after she realizes she's one of many smart people there unlike in Patience where her smarts make her stand out.

Alex Barima as Lt. David Logan Alex Barima (Lt. David Logan)

At the end of season 1, Logan had been cut from the team looking for Harry and alien life on earth. In season 2, he's obsessed with finding Harry but has to do it on his own, with no government resources or General McCallister to back him. It's unclear if Barima's character will return for Season 3.

Enver Gjokaj as Joseph Enver Gjokaj (Joseph) 

Joseph is a grey-hybrid alien who does the bidding of the Greys. When he discovers what the Greys grand plan is and that it doesn't include him, he joins forces with Harry to help him thwart the Greys plans to destroy all human life on Earth. While saving the Earth might be one of his goals, Joseph is moer interested in Asta.

Gjokaj is best known for his roles on Dollhouse, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Invasion.

Terry O'Quinn as Peter Bach Peter Bach (Terry O'Quinn)

Peter Bach the Alien Tracker was supposedly killed when he an Harry infiltrated Gen. McCallister's secret bunker, but it was revealed that he was still alive - somewhat. Kept alive by machines and technology, Peter is now a cyborg, of sorts, but the human side of him creeps out during a mission and his focus returns to rescuing his son from the Greys. O'Quinn is best known for his roles on Lost, Hawaii Five-0, and Patriot. He has also appeared in a variety of films including Tombstone, The Cutting Edge, and The Rocketeer.

Edi Patterson as Heather Edi Patterson (Heather)

Heather is an alien process server who comes to Earth to serve Harry with an eviction notice. She's a Blue Avian alien and has bird-like features when she's not using her human cloak.

Justin Rain as Elliot Justin Rain (Elliot)

Elliot was a boyfriend of D'arcy's and probably the only real serious relationship in her life. He caught her at worst, when she was addicted to pain killers and the two parted ways. D'arcy has regretted it since and goes to see him before she heads to Yellowstone to save the world. Rain is a First Nations actor whose credits include Fear the Walking Dead, Heartland, and Arctic Air.

Gus as Cletus Gus (Cletus)

Cletus is Sheriff Mike's dog. Mike reluctantly adopted him after his partner and childhood friend died in the line of duty, but now Cletus is practically his right-hand man.According to Corey Reynolds, who plays Sheriff Mike, Gus has a very malodorous flatulence game!

Who's joining Resident Alien in Season 4?Jewel Staite (Agent Jules Gardner)

Staite will be joining the cast in a recurring guest starring role as an FBI agent who went to high school with Asta, Darcy, Liv, Judy, and Ben. Agent Gardner arrives in town to investigate a series of gruesome murders that occurred in and around Patience.

Like Nathan Fillion who voiced the Octopus on the show, Staite and star Alan Tudyk also share a Firefly connection. Staite currently stars as Abigail Bianchi in Family Law.

Stephen Root

Actor Stephen Root has taken on some great comedic roles in Newsradio, Office Space, Dodgeball and Barry, but he has also had some serious turns with roles in The Terror, Man in the High Castle, and Perry Mason. He also voices a variety of character including those on King of the Hill, Velma, and Harley Quinn and the Joker. No details yet on the character Root will be playing in Resident Alien, but we imagine it'll make us laugh!

As the past (retired?!) Watermelon Queen of The Rachael Ray Show, I take watermelon season very seriously. Over the years, I've carved just about every animal you can imagine out of a watermelon. From sharks to owls to elaborate party centerpieces, if it involved watermelon, chances are I've tried it and I made it on camera. It's also why my DMs become a watermelon suggestion box every summer. Friends, followers and fellow food lovers constantly send me photos and videos of creative watermelon projects they think I need to try.

One idea that ends up in my inbox on the regular is a gorgeous tiered watermelon cake inspired by a version created by the team at Domestically Blissful. I've made watermelon "cakes" before, but never anything quite this dramatic or beautiful. The second I saw it, I knew I had to try it.

The result is part fruit platter, part edible centerpiece, and honestly one of the prettiest things I've ever made with watermelon. Layered rounds of fresh watermelon are stacked like a traditional cake, then decorated with berries, herbs, edible flowers and seasonal fruit. It looks like something straight out of a summer garden party, yet it's surprisingly approachable to make at home.

If you're looking for a show-stopping centerpiece for a baby shower, bridal shower, backyard barbecue or summer birthday party, this watermelon cake definitely delivers. Here's my experience making it, and tips for how to do it yourself.

Ingredients Needed

To make this watermelon cake, you'll need two large seedless watermelons, a cake stand or large serving platter, sturdy wooden dowels to help support the stacked layers, and plenty of toothpicks for securing fruit and decorative elements.

For decorating, I used a combination of fresh berries, halved figs, mint leaves, basil leaves and edible flowers to create a colorful, garden-inspired look, but you can customize it with any fruits you love. This project is incredibly flexible, so feel free to use whatever is in season or goes with your theme.

How To Make a Watermelon Cake

Start by cutting both watermelons into thick rounds. Using a large knife, carefully remove the rind from each section until you're left with smooth watermelon "cake layers."

Create three different-sized tiers. I made a large bottom layer, a medium middle layer and a smaller top layer so it looked like a traditional tiered cake.

Before assembling, place a folded paper towel on your cake stand. This helps prevent the watermelon from sliding around while you're working.

Set the largest watermelon round onto the cake stand. Insert a few dowels into the center of the watermelon to support the weight of the upper layers.

Place the next tier on top and repeat with additional dowels if needed. Finish with the smallest layer on top.

Once your tiers are stacked, it's time for the fun part: decorating. Use toothpicks to secure larger fruits like figs if necessary, then tuck berries, mint leaves, basil leaves and edible flowers around the edges and between the layers. Don't overthink it; the more natural and abundant it looks, the prettier it becomes.

When you're finished, chill until you're ready to serve.

Fresh Watermelon Cake Review: My Honest Thoughts

This might be one of the prettiest summer centerpieces I've ever made.

The finished cake looks incredibly impressive sitting on a table. It instantly becomes a conversation piece, and I can see why people make these for baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays and backyard parties. It has that "wow" factor that makes everyone stop and pull out their phones.

The actual assembly was much easier than I expected, too. If you can cut a watermelon and stack a few layers, you can absolutely pull this off.

That said, I do have one small complaint: it's not the most practical thing to serve.

The cake is gorgeous when it's intact, but once you start cutting into it, things get a little messy. Watermelon naturally releases juice, the fruit decorations shift around and the whole thing becomes a bit floppy. It's definitely more beautiful than it is functional.

Would I make it again? Absolutely.

Would I choose it over a simple fruit platter if I was feeding a crowd? Maybe not.

But for a special occasion where presentation matters, it's hard to beat.

Helpful Tips and Tricks To Keep in Mind

• Put a folded paper towel underneath the first watermelon layer to help prevent slipping.
• Use dowels rather than relying on toothpicks alone to support the tiers.
• Chill the watermelon before assembling for cleaner cuts and better stability.
• Only use flowers that are specifically labeled "edible."
• Decorate shortly before serving for the freshest appearance.
• Next time, I'd probably add cubes of cheese, salami or prosciutto around the base to transform it into more of a substantial appetizer display.
• Save extra fruit for refilling gaps as guests begin serving themselves.

If your goal is a practical fruit tray, this probably isn't it, but if your goal is to create a centerpiece that makes people stop in their tracks, this watermelon cake is absolutely worth the effort. It's fresh, beautiful, surprisingly easy to assemble and feels like the ultimate celebration of summer produce.

(Just be prepared for it to look slightly less glamorous once the serving begins.)

Still, for the "wow" factor alone, I'd happily make it again and you should try too!

Kylie Kelce may finally have the argument that gets Jason Kelce to agree to a cat.

The Not Gonna Lie host opened the latest episode of her podcast with a story about a recent mice problem inside the home she shares with Jason, their four daughters and their two dogs. The whole thing started with a dishwasher error, but it quickly became much worse.

According to Kylie, the discovery may finally get her the cat she wants.

Kylie explained that she is very particular about kitchen cleanliness, especially when it comes to the dishwasher.

"It makes my heart happy," she said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I like to blast basically power wash my dishes and then heat them to a temperature that is going to annihilate anything that could possibly be on them."

When the dishwasher showed an error code related to the heat pump, Kylie called for a repair. Once the repairman pulled out the appliance, she said a "waterfall of dog food" came out with it.

Kylie said rodents had apparently been storing dog food inside the dishwasher and chewing through the wires.

She Said the Discovery Made Her "Crash Out"

"I was angrily bleaching the entire kitchen floor because there was mouse droppings and I don't want hantavirus," she said.

"This is not a matter of cleanliness," Kylie said. "I wanna be clear on that. There's gonna be so many people with opinions on this. 'They have mice in their house.' You probably do too. You can't keep them out."

Kylie made her feelings about mice very clear, saying, "I hate mice."

"It might, maybe, end up in a situation where there is a feline resident," she said.

The Kelce family's cat debate has been going on for a while, and Jason has not exactly been eager to add one to the house.

Jason Kelce Has Been Fighting the Cat Campaign

Jason's anti-cat stance has become part of the family lore.

In March 2025, Kylie said on Not Gonna Lie that their daughter Wyatt wanted to get a cat from the ASPCA, but Jason was trying to discourage it.

"My husband has told our daughters that cats are poisonous. He is desperate to not have a cat, which is hilarious… [because] he grew up with a cat, Flash, who he was forever impressed by [when] she would catch birds mid-air in the backyard, and it blew his mind," Kylie said at the time, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Taylor Swift later joked on New Heights that she tried to prove otherwise by introducing Jason and Kylie's kids to her own cats. Swift said there was "no better way to prove" cats were not poisonous than handing them Benjamin Button, her ragdoll cat, who lets people hold him like a baby.

Jason did eventually admit there was one kind of cat he might consider.

"There's a chance I've been talked into a barn cat," he told Swift on New Heights, according to People.

Morgan Wallen has added another major achievement to his record-breaking career.

According to Billboard, Wallen’s latest album, I'm the Problem, is now the best-selling album in the United States for 2026. The project continues to dominate the charts more than a year after its release and has strengthened Wallen’s position as one of the biggest names in country music.

The album originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and quickly became one of the most successful releases of Wallen’s career. Its strong streaming numbers, album sales, and continued popularity among listeners have helped keep it at the top of the industry conversation.

The success of I'm the Problem follows an impressive run for Wallen, whose previous albums Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing at a Time also spent extended periods atop the Billboard charts. With the latest achievement, Wallen continues to build one of the most successful album catalogs in modern country music.

Billboard reported that I'm the Problem returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 during its chart run, earning 143,000 equivalent album units in a single tracking week. The album generated 180.43 million on-demand streams during that period, showing the continued demand for Wallen’s music.

The project spent its first eight weeks at No. 1 after debuting atop the chart and later returned to reclaim the position. Its consistent performance helped it become one of the defining albums of the year.

The achievement adds to Wallen’s already impressive Billboard résumé. His albums Dangerous: The Double Album, One Thing at a Time and I'm the Problem have collectively spent dozens of weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Wallen also holds several Billboard records. He is the only artist to have two albums spend at least 100 weeks in the Billboard 200 top 10. He also owns the record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and remains one of the most successful country artists in Hot 100 history.

The Tennessee native first gained national attention when he competed on Season 6 of The Voice in 2014. Although he did not win the competition, the exposure helped launch his music career.

After signing a recording deal, Wallen released his debut album, If I Know Me, in 2018. The album produced breakthrough hits, including “Whiskey Glasses” and “Chasin’ You,” helping establish him as a rising force in country music.

Born in Sneedville, Tennessee, Wallen grew up in a musical household and learned to play piano and violin as a child. Before pursuing music full-time, he was a standout baseball player and hoped to continue playing in college. A serious arm injury changed those plans and eventually led him to focus on music.

Stevie Wonder's mother, Lula Mae Hardaway, never considered herself a professional songwriter. But in 1970, she helped her son write one of the most recognizable songs in soul music history.

That song was "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," the title track of an album Wonder also released that year. Alongside Hardaway, the song was co-written by Wonder's first wife Syreeta Wright and Lee Garrett.

Wonder has spoken openly about how the collaboration came together. "Syreeta has a unique ability to express exactly what I want to say with a lyric," he explained. 

"I write the melody and music, and might come up with the main idea. On 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered', I came up with the music, Syreeta came up with the lyric, and my mother came up with some ideas on that one, too."

The song became one of Wonder's biggest hits, spending six weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart and peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

It was also the first time Wonder sat in the producer's chair for one of his own songs, where he gave his backup singers, Wright, Lynda Tucker Laurence and Venetta Fields, more than just a background role. 

“Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” wasn't the only time Wonder turned to his mother either. Her name also appears on "I Was Made to Love Her," "You Met Your Match" and "I Don't Know Why I Love You."

Over the years, the song has been covered by several artists. Peter Frampton recorded his version for his 1977 album I'm In You, and it reached the Top 15. Elton John tried his hand at it too, though he openly admitted the song gave him trouble.

“He’s so multitalented that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it is that makes him one of the greatest ever,” John said. 

“But first, there’s that voice. Along with Ray Charles, he’s the greatest R&B singer who ever lived. Nobody can sing like he does. I know. I actually recorded a version of ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ when I was young, and I really had to squeeze my balls to get those high notes.” 

Hardaway passed away in 2006, but Wonder has never stopped talking about what she meant to him. "She was an amazing woman with a lot of wisdom, and she took that wisdom and gave it to me. She allowed me to be free," he told ABC'sCharles Gibson. 

Her voice, he said, never really left him. "My mother said, 'You better get out there and do what you do and spread your message, 'cause I'm gonna always be here with you.' Obviously, she was talking to me from heaven."

To mark the start of the promotion, Dairy Queen took the unusual step of transforming its Point Pleasant location into a lemonade stand for a day.

The activation featured bright summer colors, lemonade-themed decor, and plenty of opportunities for guests to sample the chain's lemonade offerings. While most customers won't get to experience the special setup firsthand, the stunt helped highlight Dairy Queen's summer beverage lineup and gave the company a fun way to celebrate the arrival of summer.

The chain says the event was designed to capture the nostalgia of neighborhood lemonade stands while introducing customers to a pair of drinks that offer an alternative to its better-known frozen treats.

DQ Cooler Versus DQ Sparkler

Both beverages start with lemonade made from real lemon juice, but they offer two very different drinking experiences.

The Lemonade DQ Sparkler is the lighter of the two options. It combines lemonade with sparkling water and is served over ice, creating a crisp, bubbly drink that puts a fizzy twist on a classic summer beverage.

The Lemonade DQ Cooler takes a more indulgent approach. Dairy Queen blends its lemonade base with the chain's signature soft serve and Misty Slush, resulting in a creamy frozen drink that balances sweet, tart, and citrusy flavors in every sip.

Both beverages are available in classic lemonade and hibiscus lemonade varieties. The nationwide promotion applies to medium-sized versions of either drink and is available exclusively through the Dairy Queen app for DQ Rewards members from June 15–21.

Ana Navarro already has a few questions in mind for JD Vance.

The View cohost previewed the vice president's upcoming appearance on the ABC daytime talk show during an episode of the show's Behind the Table podcast. Vance is scheduled to appear on The View on Tuesday, June 16, at 11 a.m. ET, where he is expected to sit down with the full panel.

Navarro made it clear that she does not want the interview to become just another book-tour stop.

During the podcast, View producer Brian Teta asked Navarro what she wants to hear from Vance when he joins the Hot Topics table.

"It shouldn't be surprising. He's got a book," she said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I think that everybody, including Republicans, know that at The View, we're really good at selling books."

She explained why she believes the interview matters.

"I think it's a very relevant time, and I want to ask him questions about Epstein," Navarro said.

She also said she wants to ask Vance about "several issues where there's sunlight between him and Donald Trump."

Navarro also said she hopes the interview stays focused on substance.

She said she wants "to have a constructive conversation about the issues Americans care about and are on Americans' minds," according to Entertainment Weekly.

At the same time, she said she does not want the segment to become "some free-for-all for the sake of creating a moment for him so that he can go out and sell books."

Vance's ‘The View' Appearance Is Already Getting Attention

Vance's scheduled appearance has drawn attention because The View has frequently criticized the Trump administration and because Navarro has been one of the panel's most outspoken Republican critics of Trump-aligned politics.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Vance is set to join all six cohosts for the discussion. The interview is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16.

The appearance also comes as Vance promotes his book, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith. The booking has already sparked discussion among viewers, with some surprised that Vance would sit down with the panel.

One of Disney's biggest icons, who brought a childhood favorite to life, has died. Margaret Kerry was the live-action model and inspiration behind Peter Pan's Tinker Bell and has died at the age of 97.

Kerry's family confirmed on Facebook that she had died on June 11 in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was surrounded by her family as she died from a "courageous battle" with lung cancer.

"Dear Friends of Margaret Kerry, It is with profound sadness that we share news of the passing of Margaret Kerry (Boeke), our beloved Tinker Bell. Margaret passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on June 11, 2026, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her three adoring children, Ellen, Christina, and Eric, were with her as she lost her courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of ninety-seven," they wrote.

They added that her husband, Robert Boeke, had died less than a month earlier, on May 24. The family called their love story "truly remarkable," having met 70 years ago but were separated due to their careers. Kerry and Boeke "rekindled their love" in 2019, with the family saying they "enjoyed six wonderful years of marriage. It is like a fairy-tale to know that they passed so very close in time to one another—perhaps a testament to the love they shared."

Kerry's family adds that she was "deeply grateful for the extraordinary life that she enjoyed" and "wanted everyone to know that she was at peace and ready for this next journey in her life, secure in the knowledge that God was eager to bring her home, with Him, into heaven."

In remembrance of her Disney legacy and the Peter Pan film, her family said, "And remember, on any given night, look up into the night sky and search for that 'Second Star to the Right.' Upon closer look, you might just notice that star shining a little brighter in Margaret’s honor."

The Facebook post was accompanied by a black-and-white photo of Kerry with Tinker Bell, and was requested by the late Disney icon upon her death. Kerry was renowned for having been the real-life inspiration and model for Tinker Bell, and became popularized in the 1953 classic. She worked closely with Disney animator Marc Davis to bring the beloved character to life and even used her expertise in ballet.

"I said, ‘What do you want her to be? Ditzy like Betty Boop? Above it all like the Queen of the Angels?’ He said, ‘Margaret, we want her to be you,'" she recalled in her Woman's World interview.

With everything done by hand, the production took nine months of filming Kerry's movements and translating them to film. She recalls having done 650,000 pieces of artwork for Peter Pan and the rest was history.

Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, one of the key figures behind the rise of grunge music in the 1990s, has announced the release of his long-awaited memoir, A Screaming Life: Into the Superunknown with Soundgarden and Beyond. 

The announcement came directly from Thayil through Instagram, where he shared his thoughts after spending more than three years working on the project.

"Hello everyone! I’m proud to announce that after over three years of work, my memoir, A Screaming Life, is finally out in the world!” Thayil wrote.

“Revisiting these memories for me was often sweet, at times difficult and challenging, but ultimately rewarding in reaffirming what an amazing journey I’ve had with incredibly unique and brilliant individuals in my life. None have been more shining than the exceptional partnerships made with my friends and bandmates in Soundgarden,” he continued.

Released on Tuesday, A Screaming Life follows Thayil's journey from his early years in Illinois to becoming one of the most respected guitarists in rock music. The memoir also explores the formation of Soundgarden, the band's rise to fame, and the personal losses that shaped its story.

Soundgarden helped bring Seattle's grunge scene into the mainstream. The band became the first major grunge act to sign with A&M Records in 1988 and later achieved worldwide success with its 1994 album Superunknown. The record produced the No. 1 rock hit and Grammy-winning classic "Black Hole Sun," which remains the band's most recognizable song.

Alongside the book's debut, Thayil also revealed that Soundgarden is working to complete what could become the band's final album using vocal recordings left behind by late frontman Chris Cornell.

The memoir revisits many of the most important moments in Soundgarden's history, including the band's breakthrough years, internal struggles and the death of singer Chris Cornell in 2017.

Rather than presenting a sensationalized account, Thayil uses the book to reflect on friendships, creativity and the challenges that came with success.

The nearly 300-page memoir was co-written with Seattle music journalist Adem Tepedelen and covers four decades of music history. Readers are taken through the birth of Seattle's grunge movement, the friendships that defined it and the impact of losing influential figures such as Cornell, Kurt Cobain and Andrew Wood.

One of the biggest revelations connected to the memoir is Thayil's confirmation that Soundgarden is finishing previously recorded material featuring Cornell's vocals.

According to Thayil, the remaining members: himself, drummer Matt Cameron and bassist Ben Shepherd, have been working through archived recordings that date back to sessions surrounding the band's 2012 album King Animal.

The process has been complicated because the musicians must carefully organize old recordings and complete songs built around Cornell's existing vocal tracks.

Thayil explained, "This is a little bit more confusing. It's kind of forensic. We have to figure out what we have, what we need, what we don't need, and how to work around what's there, built around the vocals that Chris had demoed years ago."

The guitarist also suggested that future live performances of the material could involve guest singers, similar to appearances by artists such as Brandi Carlile and Taylor Momsen during Soundgarden-related tribute performances and the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction events.

Thayil, who co-founded Soundgarden in 1984 alongside Cornell and Hiro Yamamoto, remains one of the most respected figures in rock. The guitarist won two Grammy Awards with the band and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Soundgarden in 2025.

Now, with A Screaming Life available worldwide and work continuing on unreleased Soundgarden recordings, Thayil is giving fans both a look back at one of rock's most influential bands and a reason to look forward to what may be its final chapter.

Sesame Street has remained in the same beloved, Muppet-filled neighborhood for over 55 years. But off-screen, the iconic kids' show has been handed off across a wide variety of networks. Ten years ago, it moved off PBS and onto HBO before eventually heading to streaming-only on HBO Max. And while Netflix was unable to acquire Warner Bros. last year, it was able to get its hands on Sesame Street. In November 2025, the streamer kicked off its own version of the series, bringing in brand-new segments. But what has stayed the same throughout is the show's relentless north star of teaching kids everything from letters and numbers to diversity and death. On June 8, Netflix premiered its third batch of new Sesame Street episodes, taking Elmo, Abbey, Cookie Monster and the gang everywhere from an indoor mini-city to outer space.

Premiering in 2023, the reality show stranded amateur survivalists in the wilderness to live off the land for an extended period. Indeed, from the jump, the lack of rules for Outlast allowed contestants to go to any extreme to get closer to the million-dollar prize, including sabotaging their own competition to force them to quit the game. The Survivor comparisons are only magnified with this third season, as the show moves from the harsh Alaskan forests to the dense jungle. And the heat is certainly turned up in more ways than just the temperature. As in the iconic CBS reality show, alliances and strategy have come to the forefront of Outlast: The Jungle, with the relationships you make more important than ever. Can Sweet Magnolias survive turning margaritas into Big Apple-tinis? That's what fans of the hit romance drama series were wondering when it returned for Season 5 on June 11. Viewers were left on quite a cliffhanger last year, as Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) was set to travel to New York City for a new job opportunity. Of course, the other women aren't far behind, trading in Serenity for skyscrapers. It's not long before everyone comes back to South Carolina, however, as Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) and Helen (Heather Headley) both are contending with respective romantic difficulties. While Season 6 has yet to be announced by the streamer, to quote the late great Frank Costanza from Seinfeld, we need more Serenity now!

Before they became one of the most successful groups in pop history, The Supremes had a reputation problem. While Motown's other girl groups racked up hits, Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard had earned an unflattering office nickname — the "no-hit Supremes."

All of that changed when "Back in My Arms Again" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 12, 1965, making The Supremes the first group in history to score five consecutive chart-toppers. 

But the road there wasn't easy. Wilson later recalled the frustration to the Guardian. "It felt as if all the girl groups were having hits apart from The Supremes. We were playing shows and people were going crazy, but in the office we were beginning to be known as the 'no-hit Supremes.'"

The turning point came when Motown boss Berry Gordy paired the trio with his premier songwriting team, Holland-Dozier-Holland, and Diana Ross as lead singer, with Wilson and Ballard as her backing. 

"We recorded 'Where Did Our Love Go' and it became a hit, which changed everything," Wilson recalled. "Once H-D-H found that formula for us, we had five consecutive [US] number ones."

That run unfolded over just 10 months. "Where Did Our Love Go" reached No. 1 on August 16, 1964. "Baby Love" followed, topping the charts from late October through November. "Come See About Me" claimed the No. 1 spot for non-consecutive weeks in December 1964 and January 1965. "Stop! In the Name of Love" kept the streak alive in late March and early April 1965.

The fifth song in the run, "Back in My Arms Again," came out on April 15, 1965. Cash Box called it a "rollicking, pop-R&B romancer about a lucky lass who gets back with her boyfriend after quite a hiatus." It hit No. 1 less than a month later, bumping The Beach Boys' "Help Me, Rhonda" from the top spot.

The streak eventually ended when "Nothing but Heartaches" fell short of the top 10 — but the group bounced right back with "I Hear a Symphony" at No. 1. 

They followed that with four more consecutive No. 1 hits in 1966 and 1967, with "You Can't Hurry Love," "You Keep Me Hangin' On," "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone" and "The Happening.” 

"Love Child" brought them back to No. 1 in 1968, and "Someday We'll Be Together" in December 1969 gave the group their 12th and final No. 1.

Ross eventually left to pursue a solo career, though by Gordy's own admission, the departure wasn't entirely her choice. "Diana never wanted to leave the girls," he recalled to Rolling Stone.

"She was more or less pushed out. But that's what happens when a person is up front and people are telling the background singers that she's stealing the show." 

Gordy's feelings for Ross were no secret either. "I was madly in love with Diana Ross," he confessed, acknowledging that his devotion shaped many of his decisions. "It was perhaps favouritism because Diana was a favourite of mine. But she had the talent to justify that favouritism."

Summer House star Ciara Miller is speaking out, slamming her co-star and ex-West Wilson for his comments about beta blockers during the third and final part of the show's dramatic reunion.

In the show, Wilson was called out by host Andy Cohen for his lack of emotion, who asked, "No offense, are you on like, a bunch of beta blockers or what? Everybody's so emotional around you about you and your relationship, and you're like this."

"I took a beta blocker. I don't know if that's why I'm not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me. I apologize if I don't read emotional enough," Wilson replied.

However, Miller wasn't having any of this.

"Just a medical note: beta blockers DON'T remove emotion. They work by blocking adrenaline from binding to beta receptors in your heart, blood vessels, and muscles (the receptors responsible for the physical symptoms of anxiety like increased heart rate, raised blood pressure, and trembling)," Miller, who is a registered nurse, wrote on Threads after the reunion aired.

"The EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE remains, but the physical stress response can't fully activate," she continued. "It's like putting your 'fight or flight' symptoms on DND…. enough with the beta blocker (expletive)."

Wilson's lack of emotion came as he and Amanda Batula, who was one of Miller's best friends, were peppered with questions about their relationship, specifically the timeline of how things came to be.

And this wasn't the only time he referenced it during the show; he also commented earlier in the reunion about his emotions (or lack thereof). Specifically, he said it was because he was "trying to stay composed as much as possible."

"Or you're just a sociopath," Miller cut in.

The third and final part of the reunion is out, but the popular show will have one final episode, Summer House: The Aftermath, which will feature one-on-one conversations recorded after the reunion. It will air on Tuesday, June 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

The Twilight Zone is technically science fiction, but some of the episodes involve concepts that are more realistic than anyone would like to admit. Looperrecently named a few episodes from the series that “predicted the future,” including stories based around plastic surgery and AI companions.  

One of the most underrated episodes on the list took place during season three. The story, which was written by the creator and host Rod Serling, was titled “The Midnight Sun.” It was about the planet mysteriously changing its orbit and growing closer to the sun every single day, raising the temperature of the Earth.

Looper compared the story to global warming, saying, “Even though the rising heat of ‘The Midnight Sun’ is, unlike ours, not caused by humans, it's still staggering to watch a 65-year-old TV episode so accurately capture a familiar — if fantastically exaggerated — experience of climate stress.”

According to SyFy, director Anton Leader revealed that this 1961 episode "nearly gave his cast and crew heatstroke." It was filmed in Los Angeles during the summer with a $52,000 budget, but the director wanted the set to feel as uncomfortable as it would if the planet were really heating up.

"With a very limited budget and facilities, we had to do a lot of improvising," Leader said when speaking about the three-day shoot. "We had to use every means available to us to project the fear of this developing heat and this cataclysmic ending to the world. I think we did a pretty good job."

Leader continued, "I remember that there were a couple of scenes in which I asked the electrical grip to add heat, not so much heat that it would show on the film, but heat that we would feel on the set. It made us distinctly uncomfortable, but I think it helped us develop the feeling that we had of heat. I didn't do that throughout, because its effect would have been lost eventually. We would have just been plain simply miserable and angry with each other for being involved in this thing."
