Elizabeth Smart Shocks Fans With Bodybuilding Competition Reveal: See Her Latest Photos
Elizabeth Smart is embracing life to the fullest. The safety advocate and author made an unexpected social media announcement on Instagram Tuesday, surprising fans with the news that she has entered the world of bodybuilding.
Smart shared photos of her physical transformation along with an emotional and vulnerable explanation of how she got into the sport and why she was initially afraid to share the news—and the photos—with followers. Ultimately, Smart confessed she “refuses to be embarrassed.” Fans quickly took notice, showing support and sending a wave of encouragement for her candid reveal and bold life change.
In an Instagram post shared Tuesday afternoon, the 38-year-old posted a photo of herself taken during a recent bodybuilding competition. Wearing lucite heels and a black bikini, the bronzed blonde took the stage with confidence and poise. The mother of three appears strong and radiant, showcasing a fit physique that marks a departure from her more familiar public image. But through her caption, Elizabeth Smart’s journey into bodybuilding feels authentic and deeply personal.
View this post on Instagram Elizabeth Smart Bodybuilding Reveal Stuns Fans on InstagramNot her first competition, but the first she has shared publicly, Smart explained her passion for bodybuilding, writing, “When I posted the pictures in my story of me standing on stage in a bikini it probably shocked many of you, and I understand the shock because had you asked me if I would ever compete in a bodybuilding show a couple of years ago I would have said, ‘absolutely not! Never in 100 years!’ This is actually the fourth competition I’ve done, but I was too afraid to post it before.”
Smart also opened up about her fear of being judged, saying she worried about being “not taken seriously, somehow perceived as less than or now unworthy to continue work as an advocate for all survivors,” which kept her from sharing this part of her life.
Elizabeth Smart Fitness Journey Highlights Strength, Resilience, and Empowerment View this post on InstagramSomething shifted this past weekend, inspiring Smart to go public with her bodybuilding journey.
“Then this past weekend it struck me how eerily familiar these feelings and thoughts are for too many survivors. I think it’s easy to be labeled as one thing, and honestly, that’s not me nor do I think it’s any of us we are more than just one topic, one idea, one label. I am interested in many things, and as I get older I realize more and more how important it is to make the most of today, we don’t know what tomorrow brings. And I don’t want to reach the end of my life and look back and feel regret for only living a half-life, not going after all the things I want to do and try.”
Smart’s admission has been met with enthusiasm and support, with many calling her story inspiring and empowering. One supporter shared, “This was so unexpected! Wow! Hell yes! Elizabeth, you are such an inspiration. It’s fun to see glimpses of your life outside of your advocacy work. Thanks for sharing.” Another added, “You're amazing! And we contain multitudes -- kudos to you for celebrating that.”
“This is brilliant,” another wrote. “Congrats. We are all more than one thing. Go Elizabeth.”

This New Costco Find Is a Bold Take on a Classic Summer Cookout Favorite
Costco's new chip flavor is being called one of the "craziest snack" finds.
And it's a bold take on a classic summer cookout favorite, making it the perfect chip bag to reach for as the warmer months approach.
Over the years, brands have unleashed some pretty out-there chip flavors, taking inspiration from some beloved dishes, meals and flavor profiles—just look at Lays' World Cup release, including Argentinian-Style Steak, Brazilian-Style Garlic Sauce, and Wavy French Onion Soup.
Now, Costco's latest release is getting in on the mix with a very American-inspired flavor.
When you think of summer, a few staple foods likely come to mind, for instance, potato chips and cheeseburgers.
Now, what if you had them both in one? That's what you get with the Cheeseburger Wavy Kettle Chips at Costco.
The Instagram account CostcoBuys gave a first-look at the snack item, writing, "🍟 Chip lovers, these Cheeseburger Wavy Kettle Potato Chips at Costco are a wild find! These are wavy kettle chips made with avocado oil and flavored to taste like an actual cheeseburger, which sounds crazy but honestly works SO well. Grab a bag and see for yourself."
Discovering_Costco echoed the sentiments, calling it the "craziest snack find," adding, "You’re going to want to check out this wild eye 👀 catching snack at Costco! Too weird or just weird enough?"
View this post on InstagramThe consensus seemd to be that many were in favor of the flavor, as one described the taste as, "I like them they taste like a Burger king cheeseburger with extra ketchup and mustard."
According to Warehouse Runner, you get the burger taste in every bite, as the chips are made with "farm-fresh potatoes cooked in small batches" to preserve the kettle crunch.
They are then seasoned with a blend that "captures the savory taste of a classic burger," which includes all the toppings like cheddar cheese, tangy mustard, tomtato and smoky spices, evoking the "taste of a backyard-grilled burger reimainged as a portable snack."
The Kosher chips have retailed anywhere from $5.49 to $5.69, depending on location, with one noting that for the price, they "hit the spot."
If you're someone who enjoys a bolder take on chip flavors, you'll have to try the cheeseburger chips while they're in season at Costco!
Experts Warn This Bathroom Surface Can Harbor Way More Germs Than You Realize
If you were asked to name the germiest surface in your bathroom, you might say it’s the toilet seat, or even the toilet flush lever. And they certainly do contain germs. But there’s another surface that harbors a lot more germs than you realize: your bathroom faucet.
“There are a few reasons for this,” says Dr. Mike Sevilla, MD, a family physician in Salem, Ohio. “First, germs like wet and damp environments, where germs and bacteria can thrive and grow.”
Then, when you go to use the sink, your dirty hands touch the faucet, and “who knows what germs they are bringing with them,” he continues. “Finally, when you flush the toilet with the lid up, the droplets from the toilet bowl can fly in the air to touch nearby surfaces, like the faucet.”
Bathroom faucet handles are also just high-touch areas, adds Dr. Jonathan Jennings, MD, an internist in New York City and a contributor to LabFinder. Think about how many times you wash your hands a day. And if you’re not cleaning and disinfecting this spot frequently, the germs can spread to the sink, countertop and elsewhere.
Your bathroom faucet handles are also likely to harbor different types of bacteria, research suggests. This may seem counterintuitive since your bathroom sink is where you go to keep yourself clean and perform your hygiene rituals, such as washing your hands, doing your skincare routine and brushing your teeth.
But don’t panic, Dr. Sevilla says. Even though your bathroom faucet can transmit germs, you can keep yourself (and your family) safe by keeping it as clean as you can.
Here’s what to know about the germs lurking on your bathroom faucet, how they may impact your health and how to keep this area clean and disinfected.

What Kinds of Germs Lurk on Bathroom Faucets?Oleg Breslavtsev/Getty Images
Residential handbasins (as in, your bathroom sink), can be colonized by potentially harmful organisms, including Pseudomonas, Mycobacteria and Legionella, according to a 2024 study published in Science of the Total Environment.

“These organisms are associated with diverse medical conditions, including treatment-resistant lung and skin infections,” Dr. Jennings says. “The germs not only line the faucets, but they form these slimy colonies that act as protective shields called biofilms.”
In some instances, biofilms can protect the germs from disinfectant and cleaning efforts, he says. This is especially important for people with weakened immune systems, such as anyone over 50 or less than six months old, or individuals living with cancer, diabetes or HIV.
“Also consider people who have chronic lung diseases, smoke or use contact lenses may be put at risk by faucet germs,” Dr. Jennings adds.
Bacteria, like E. coli or Staph, may be found on your faucet, too, Dr. Sevilla says. “Also, viruses like the common cold virus, influenza, and norovirus can survive on faucet surfaces.”
Are These Germs Likely To Make You Sick?“The short answer is that it depends,” Dr. Sevilla says. “For those who are very young, elderly, or have some immunocompromised diagnosis, your risk for getting sick increases.”

Some of the germs could enter an open sore on your fingers or hands, which increases the likelihood of a skin reaction, he adds. If germs from your faucet transfer to your hands and you touch your eyes, nose or mouth, you could potentially infect yourself with a respiratory virus, like a cold or the flu.
If E. coli is living on your faucet, it could potentially cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
However, most healthy people shouldn’t worry too much about the germs on their bathroom faucets making them sick, Dr. Jennings says—your immune system will protect you.
How To Minimize Germs on Your Bathroom FaucetDo two things: clean and disinfect your bathroom faucets.
Many public health organizations recommend cleaning your bathroom faucet, drain and surrounding surfaces once or twice a day, Dr. Jennings says.

Start by cleaning these areas with warm, soapy water. Then, sanitize it using bleach or a sanitizer wipe, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Also, clean faucet or showerhead aerators when you notice buildup on them, the CDC says.
After you wash your hands, use the clean part of a paper towel to turn off the faucet (or consider a touchless handle the next time you replace it), Dr. Sevilla recommends. And, “remember to close the lid of the toilet to prevent the spread of airborne droplets.”

Denise Richards Breaks Silence After Patrick Muldoon’s Sudden Death at Age 57
The loss of Days of Our Livesstar Patrick Muldoon hit Hollywood stars and fans hard. However, no one is mourning harder than his loved ones, including his long-time friend and ex-girlfriend Denise Richards.
A day after news broke about Muldoon’s sudden death at age 57, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spoke out on the devastating loss.
Taking to Instagram, Richards shared a video filled with memories of her and Muldoon’s decades-long friendship. The duo met in acting class when she was 19 and he was 21, and they became fast friends.
In 1997, after working on the film Starship Troopers, their friendship turned romantic. After a few years of dating, they split but remained close friends until Muldoon’s shocking death on April 19.
Losing Muldoon has been especially hard for Richards, who did her best to put her feelings into words to pay tribute to him. Richards kicked off her tribute, reiterating how they met in acting class before she ever worked as an actor, and Muldoon was on Who’s The Boss, playing Alyssa Milano’s boyfriend.
“Here we are. 36 years later. My whole adult life & I don’t know it without you. The friendship, love, support, respect & loyalty we had was unconditional and rare. You lit up every room you walked into. You are larger than life & Everyone was drawn to you. So talented & most underrated actor. And most humble. Everything you did was infectious. Your laugh, your kindness, your wit, your strength, your loyalty, your passion, and your zest for life,” she gushed.
Richards went on to reveal just how special Muldoon and their friendship were to her. They have been through thick and thin, including when she paused the friendship during her marriage toCharlie Sheen.
“We’ve been each other’s rock. Our memories together are endless. You’ve had my back and protected me more than anyone. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you here. You’re my voice of reason & pillar of strength. Especially during this last year of pain & heartache. And now I need you more than ever, for this pain and heartache losing you,” Richards expressed.
The Bold and the Beautiful star previously revealed that she and Muldoon would call each other "schweet babe". It was a nickname that came about when they were filming Starship Troopers and became their special name for each other throughout all these years.
“Schweetbabe we’ve had those conversations.. We thought we’d live forever or at least into our 90’s. Schweetbabe I will be looking for those signs. I need to know you’re still here with me. I love you so much & miss you dearly schweetbabe. 💔🙏🪽,” Richards ended her touching tribute.
Richards' daughter Lola also shared a sweet tribute to Muldoon, writing, "I thought you were the one that was supposed be in our lives forever. When I think of my childhood I think of you Pat."
Alongside a photo of her mother and Muldoon in a car, she continued, "And it's gonna be so weird to go on without you in our lives. You were such a huge part of our family and life will never feel the same, but that's just because of how much you impacted us."
As Parade reported, Muldoon’s last public appearance was a month ago with Richards by his side. They were a constant in each other’s lives, with Muldoon even appearing on an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. Both shows highlighted their friendship and pure love for each other.
Richards’ heartbreaking tribute is the latest in a string of tributes that have been pouring in for Muldoon. The actor is survived by his parents, Deanna Muldoon and William Patrick Muldoon Sr., his long-time girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart, his sister, Shana Zappa, brother-in-law, Ahmet Zappa, along with his niece, Halo Zappa, and nephew, Arrow Zappa.
Chipotle Brings Back Honey Chicken For Limited-Time Run: 'Best Thing I Ever Tasted'
Almost one year after its previous appearance on Chipotle's menu, the fan-favorite Chipotle Honey Chicken is officially returning to restaurant nations across the country starting this spring.
According to a new press release from the brand shared with us over email, the popular protein option will once again find its way to nationwide menus on April 28. The item (which actually turned out to be Chipotle's best-performing protein option upon its debut in 2025) was last seen in August of last year.
A unique, flavorful spin on Chipotle's beloved chicken, the Chipotle Honey Chicken features tangy and zesty chunks of grilled chicken marinated with chipotle peppers and finished with a hint of pure honey.
Through this unique combination, diners are entreated to a flavorful sensation that's equal parts sweet, savory and endlessly delicious, leaving little reason to wonder about its prevalent popularity today.
“Chipotle Honey Chicken set a new standard for our limited-time offerings, and guests started asking for it back almost immediately,” said Stephanie Perdue, Interim Chief Marketing Officer. “It’s proof that when we get flavor and timing right, we create something fans can’t stop thinking about.”
If that weren't already exciting enough, Chipotle also confirmed that, for the first time, the Chipotle Honey Chicken will be available in the brand's recently added High Protein Cup, allowing diners to maximize their protein without getting bogged down in any one of the restaurant's regular add-ons.
To better commemorate the fan-favorite menu item's imminent return, Chipotle will be offering a $0 delivery free on all Chipotle Honey Chicken orders placed online from April 28 to May 11.
While there's no word yet on how long Chipotle's returning protein will be around for, it's worth remembering that Chipotle Honey Chicken will only be around for a limited time. And if past fan reviews are any indication, you'll definitely want to get this cherished menu item sooner rather than later.
As one diner shared on Reddit a few months ago, "Please bring back the Honey Chipotle Chicken, it was the best thing I ever tasted at Chipotle. So good that I don't really want anything else from there, it's just not the same anymore." High praise, indeed!

I Tried Starbucks' Limited-Edition 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Secret Menu and It’s ‘Groundbreaking’
To say that I'm a The Devil Wears Prada superfan is the understatement of the century. I'm more of a The Devil Wears Prada evangelist, spreading the deliciously ruthless quotes and mantras of Miranda Priestly everywhere I go. The 2006 film starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt is a cultural touchpoint that helped define a generation. It's dripping with style, bitingly sarcastic, and one of the most memorable pieces of early-aughts cinema. Naturally, when word broke that Devil Wears Prada 2 was finally heading to theaters after 20 years, yours truly lost his literal mind.
Fortunately, after what feels like ages of waiting, there are fewer than 10 days left until the sequel's highly anticipated May 1 debut, and you can bet I'll be front and center. In the meantime, between watching the original film for the millionth time, I've been keeping myself occupied by staying up to date on all the buzzy activations and limited-time partnerships perfectly timed for the film's release. Starbucks Launches New The Devil Wears Prada 2 Secret Menu View this post on InstagramNow, Starbucks has officially entered the chat with the new The Devil Wears Prada 2 secret menu, featuring drinks inspired by the film's titular character. Of course, as a stan, you know I had to try all four drinks myself to see if the choices lived up to Miranda Priestly's lofty expectations. Let's just say the drinks were groundbreaking. Here is my honest review of Starbucks' new The Devil Wears Prada 2 secret menu.

How to Order Starbucks' New The Devil Wears Prada 2 Secret MenuKenn C. Bivins
Before you make the mistake of pulling up the drive-thru and saying a string of words that leaves the baristas inside as clueless as Andy was on her first day, it's worth it to know how to order the new The Devil Wears Prada 2 secret menu first. A common misconception about Starbucks is that the baristas are trained on every secret menu drink that has ever existed and that you can ask for a grasshopper frappuccino without actually explaining what it is. However, Miranda Priestly would likely take the same approach, which couldn't be further from the truth.
For the most part, baristas are only trained on official beverages and menu updates, which means they probably have no clue how to make a Ghostbusters Frappuccino or a Sour Patch Kids Drink. Sure, you might get lucky and come across someone who's dialed into all the chatter online, but it's always best to be prepared to give instructions if you're looking for something super specific. So, before you say "Why is no one ready?" take a minute to breathe, then order, and list the ingredients for one of the drinks below. Read on to find out whether you're more of an Emily or if you're Runway editor-in-chief material like Miranda Priestly herself.
What I Thought of Starbucks' The Devil Wears Prada 2 Secret Menu1. Miranda's Signature OrderCourtesy of Kenn C. Bivins
Much like her signature exceptionally manicured bob, more formally known as a Robert, Miranda Priestly's signature order is a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point nonfat, no-foam, extra-shot, extra-hot latte. It's exactly the kind of drink you'd expect from someone who's the head of a major publication like Runway, and unlike fashion, it never goes out of style. There's nothing to hide behind, not even a lumpy blue—excuse me, cerulean—sweater that you fished out of the clearance bin at some tragic casual corner. Get this if you're feeling like a boss.
2. Andy's CappuccinoCourtesy of Kenn C. Bivins
Despite how green she was in the first film, Andy's go-to order eschews matcha and instead is an oatmilk cappuccino with caramel and cinnamon. Sweet and airy with just the right amount of spice, and perfect no matter the season. It's chic without trying too hard, which makes it all the more endearing. Not to mention it totally gives off newly minted "It Girl" vibes, and who doesn't want that? This one was my personal favorite.
3. Nigel's DoppioCourtesy of Kenn C. Bivins
Nigel is arguably the glue that keeps the entire house of cards that is Runway together, and as such, his coffee order of choice is just enough of a moment to help him kick-start his day. The quick-witted art director subsists on a doppio espresso con panna (aka a double espresso with whipped cream) and a hit of mocha sauce. It's the perfect little something to give you a boost, and it's short enough that you can drink it before the boss comes in and goes on her third (or fourth) daily tirade. Bold and refined in a way that says, without you, everything would go up in flames. I'd grab this drink to help me stay in flow state.
4. Emily's Fave Iced ChaiCourtesy of Kenn C. Bivins
If you're the kind of person who moves at a glacial pace at all times, then you'll love Emily's go-to Starbucks order, an almond milk iced chai with sugar-free caramel. Sharp and subtly spicy with the illusion of sweetness that says you're deeply dedicated to climbing the company ladder at all costs—even if it means being the office mean girl who's secretly got a soft side. It might not be for everyone, but those who get it get it. Although this was my least favorite drink, it wasn't bad by any means. It just wasn't my cup of tea (pun intended.)
Tips for Customizing Starbucks' Limited-Edition The Devil Wears Prada 2 Secret MenuAlthough each of these drinks is an editorial dream as is, they can all be further modified to suit your tastes and preferences. Whether you want more mocha in Nigel's Doppio or you'd like to swap the almond milk in Emily's Fave Iced Chai for nonfat, you can easily tailor each beverage to your personal specifications. Here are a few additional tips to make sure you get exactly what you want the first time.
- Size up or down: Because all of these beverages are standard Starbucks recipes, you can easily choose how much caffeine you want by sizing up or down. Nigel's Doppio, however, comes in a short cup automatically.
- Know your chai: This is specific to Emily's Fave Iced Chai, but it's worth a reminder that Starbucks recently updated its chai recipe to decouple the sweetness from the concentrate. That means that it comes standard with Classic Syrup unless you specify otherwise.
- Dress it up: Coco Chanel once said, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off." In this instance, we suggest doing the opposite. Like a perfectly executed sartorial masterpiece, coffee is meant to be adorned. Add whipped cream, caramel drizzle, or an extra dash of cinnamon—no need to gird your loins here.

Ted Danson Looks Back on Tense Encounter With Bill Clinton While Dating Mary Steenburgen
During the start of his relationship with Mary Steenburgen, Cheers star Ted Danson remembers former president Bill Clinton stepping in. The actor looks back at how Clinton used the Secret Service to intimidate him.
Danson moderated a panel with Bill and Hillary Clinton at History Talks in Philadelphia over the weekend. The 78-year-old actor remembers how Steenburgen used her connections and close friendship with the Clintons to try to spook him. It was also a ploy to figure out Danson's true intentions with the actor.
"One of the first things she did was take me to meet her dear friends in the White House,” Danson said. “Bill — Mr. President — took me around the corner, and there were three Secret Service agents behind him, all of them looking at me. The president asked me what my intentions were."
A perfectly valid question by any close friend as someone they cherish begins dating someone new. The two actors met in 1993 while working on the film Pontiac Man, as Danson played a "pigheaded" science teacher and Steenburgen happened to have starred as his on-screen wife.

It may be that both Steenburgen and Clinton wanted to make sure Danson was a good guy, seeing as he had a few high-profile relationships before tying the knot with the actor. He first married Randall "Randy" Gosch in 1970 and later divorced in 1975. In 1977, Danson married producer Cassandra "Casey" Coates and had an affair with Whoopi Goldberg in 1992 that contributed to their divorce.
During the panel, Danson jokingly asked Clinton if it "was fair" to have been asked what his intentions were all those years ago, especially with Secret Service as backup.
“No, but it was effective,” Clinton replied. “And I didn’t think I had to be fair. As it turned out, you became the best thing that ever happened to her."
Danson and Steenburgen got married a few years later in October 1995, with the Cheers actor becoming a stepfather to her two children from her previous marriage to Malcolm McDowell. The actor once commented he proposed to Steenburgen after realizing he “couldn’t imagine not being with her at all times.”
Target’s $15 Painted Terracotta Bowl Looks Like a Vintage Flea Market Find

There's something undeniably charming about a piece that seems to have a past. The find you'd normally scoop up at a roadside antique store or discover tucked between mismatched china at a Sunday flea market. It has that collected-over-time feel, the subtle imperfections, the artistry that makes guests wonder where you found it. Surprisingly, this one is an affordable Target find.
This painted terracotta bowl brings instant vintage Americana vibes to any space. Crafted from terracotta and finished with a delicate white floral motif against a deep blue backdrop, it feels both classic and quietly statement-making. The design has that handmade look that reads unique and high-end, like something passed down or carefully sourced on a weekend treasure hunt.
Threshold Painted Decorative Bowl Terracotta, $15 at Target Shop It!This decorative bowl from Target is perfect for layering into your decor. It's substantial enough to stand on its own yet small enough to tuck into a bookshelf, style on a mantel or perch atop a stack of coffee table books. The round shape softens hard edges in a room, while the floral pattern adds just enough detail to catch the eye without overwhelming your space.

One of the easiest ways to style a decorative bowl like this is to keep things simple. If your room leans natural and relaxed, try filling it with moss balls, dried lavender or a few pieces of driftwood. In a kitchen, a small cluster of lemons or green apples brings in color and a fresh feel. For a cozy touch in a living room, place a few petite pillar candles inside or weave in subtle LED fairy lights for a soft evening glow. Limiting yourself to one or two textures keeps the overall look refined.
It also works beautifully as a catch-all. Set it on a console table to hold keys and sunglasses or place it on a nightstand for jewelry. Everyday essentials instantly look more intentional when gathered inside something that feels thoughtfully chosen.
And here's the best part: this charming piece is just $15 at Target. Affordable yet elevated, it delivers the look of a one-of-a-kind flea market score without the hunt. Whether styled as a centerpiece or left empty to shine on its own, it adds that collected, storied touch every room can use.

Patriots Coach Mike Vrabel Breaks Silence on Dianna Russini Photo Scandal
New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is breaking his silence on the photo scandal involving former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini.
Vrabel, 50, who played for the NFL for 14 seasons and rose to stardom as a linebacker for the Pats, spoke to the press about the uproar for the first time in a video obtained by WBZ's Dan Roche.
“I understand I could have addressed you sooner, but it was important to me I have a conversation with the players, which I did yesterday very candidly,” Vrabel shared during a pre-NFL draft press conference at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, noting that he had “some difficult conversations” with people he “care[s] about.”
Including discussions with his "family," as well as the Patriots organization, Vrabel said the talks were "positive and productive."
“We believe in order to be successful, you have to make good decisions,” he said. “That starts with me. You never want your actions to negatively affect the team … or be the cause of a distraction.”
Sharing that he's "excited" to coach the team with "humility and focus," Vrabel leaned in hard when emphasizing how much he cares about coaching the Patriots. He also noted that he's kept some questions and comments from the team private.
“What I can promise you is my family, this organization, this team, the staff, the coaches, and the fans, most importantly, will get the best version of me going forward,” he stated.

— Dan Roche (@RochieWBZ) April 21, 2026 Vrabel and Russini Said the Photos Were MisleadingAfter photos published in the New York Post showed Russini and Vrabel hanging out by a pool, in a hot tub, and on a rooftop deck at the Ambiente luxury hotel in Sedona, Vrabel and Russini both said the photos were misleading. Athletic Executive Editor Steven Ginsberg also echoed their sentiments, telling NBC News that the photos are "misleading and lack essential context."
"These were public interactions in front of many people," Ginsberg said. "Dianna is a premier journalist covering the NFL and we're proud to have her at The Athletic.”
Russini Resigned From Her Job Last WeekDespite their statements, Russini still resigned from her role. She announced her resignation from her job at the publication last week, NBC News shared.
“I have covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout my career, and I stand behind every story I have ever published,” Russini said in a letter sent to Athletic executive editor Steven Ginsberg, according to a screenshot she posted on X.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Former FBI Agent Says DNA Sent to FBI Could Be a ‘Very Good Sign'
There is a renewed interest in the Nancy Guthrie case after ABC News reported that the FBI has received DNA from Guthrie's Arizona home that was collected back in February. That DNA, reportedly hair, was initially sent to a lab in Florida for testing by the Pima County Sheriff's Department early on in the case. However, the lab has released the sample and the FBI will use advanced technology to try to figure out who it belongs to.
Former FBI agent Steve Mooresat down with Brian Entin to talk about the sample during the April 20 episode of Brian Entin Investigates.
"It could be a good sign," Moore said of the FBI receiving the DNA. "I mean, it could be a very good sign. ... I would have just bundled up the entire bed sheet thing and tied it at the top so everything that was in the bed would go to the lab."
"You cannot walk across the room without leaving some type of evidence," Moore continued. "I suspect [Nancy] was helped out of bed, simply because of her age. And, if you do that and you lean over the bed... I mean, why do people wear hair nets in restaurants? Because we know hair falls in food. Hair would have fallen in that bed."
Moore thinks there's likely a great deal of evidence in Guthrie's sheets and blankets, and he said he's "encouraged" by the news that there's a hair in play.
Moore isn't the only former FBI agent who seems optimistic about the DNA transfer. Parade previously reached out to Greg Rogers who said that the FBI's lab is "the best in the country." Rogers went on to say that the DNA results could come back in "a matter of days."
Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Anyone with information about her whereabouts or who might be responsible for her disappearance has been asked to call the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI).

What Was Found in Stephen King's Private Archive Changes How You'll Read His Books Forever
Stephen King spent decades scaring millions of readers. Now, for the first time, someone got to see exactly how he did it.
Caroline Bicks, a University of Maine professor serving as the inaugural Stephen E. King Chair in Literature, was granted something no one outside the King family had ever received: a full year inside Stephen King's personal archive. The climate-controlled space, built into the back of King and wife Tabitha's Victorian mansion in Bangor, holds manuscripts, typescripts and galley proofs of nearly everything King has ever written.
Getting there took years. In 2017, Bicks was named the inaugural King Chair, a position endowed by the Harold Alfond Foundation, but university officials told her never to initiate contact with King himself. She spent four years imagining conversations that never happened. Then in 2021, King called her out of the blue. She invited him to speak to students, he came for two days, and when she proposed spending her sabbatical inside his manuscripts, he and Tabitha agreed.
Related: 1986 Horror Novel Ranked No. 1 'Scariest Stephen King Book' by Goodreads
The result is Monsters in the Archives: My Year of Fear with Stephen King, published by Hogarth on April 21. The book focuses on five of King's most iconic early works, The Shining, Carrie, Pet Sematary, 'Salem's Lot and Night Shift, and reveals how King built his horror sentence by sentence, draft by draft.
What Bicks found upended the way most readers think about how horror actually works. For example, King didn't just write plot twists in Pet Sematary. He crafted the sound of each sentence until it does something physical to the reader. Comparing early drafts to the published text, Bicks tracked a single word change in the novel's terrifying final pages, one small revision that transformed a scene from merely frightening to genuinely haunting.
The Salem's Lot discoveries were equally surprising. Tucked between the pages of an early draft, Bicks found a hand-drawn map of the town, originally called Momson, with handwriting King immediately recognized as belonging to his childhood best friend, Chris. The town King had based it on was one he'd moved to at age 11 and initially hated, before coming to love its people, its cemetery and the abandoned Victorian that inspired the novel's Marsten House. What Bicks expected to be a menacing vampire story revealed itself as something closer to a love letter to a place.
The Shining files held a different kind of revelation. King had originally divided the manuscript into acts and scenes marked by Roman numerals, structuring the novel as a Shakespearean tragedy. Bicks assumed she'd identified the source play, and was wrong. When she finally asked King directly, he told her it was a different Shakespeare tragedy altogether, one powered by the same theme of intergenerational trauma that runs through the novel. King wouldn't name it in the interview, saving that for readers.
The early draft of Carrie was perhaps the biggest shock. In it, the teen heroine physically sprouts horns and her skull visibly elongates, a very different character from the relatable, tragic Carrie that generations of readers know.
Bicks says the deeper she went into the manuscripts, the clearer it became that King's monsters are really about universal human fears. 'He knows how to tap into universal fears,' she explained. 'There's something kind of oddly hopeful about it, even though it's terrifying.'
King himself, in a Zoom call with Bicks at the end of her sabbatical year, offered his own take on what he's actually been writing about all along. He compared death to the Wizard of Oz, not the terrifying force everyone imagines, but ultimately a faker behind a curtain. 'When we get there,' he told her, 'we're all going to say, is that what it was? Is that all?'
Monsters in the Archives is available now wherever books are sold.
Iconic '90s Rocker Announces Major News for the First Time in 30 Years
Billy Corgan has some exciting news for wrestling fans.
The frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins and president of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) announced on Monday that their flagship program, NWA Powerrr, will debut on Sinclair's Comet TV on May 1 and 2. The first episode will premiere at 10 pm, followed up by a brand new second episode on Saturday at 4 p.m. Both shows will air again at 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.
This will be the first time in 30 years that Comet will be making wrestling accessible to fans across the country via over-the-air broadcast television. Powered by Signet/Data One, NWA's new era with Comet brings free entertainment to wrestling fans.
"Wrestling was meant to bring fans closer to the action," said Corgan, according to Blabbermouth. "The NWA has always been about storytelling, personality and passion. Whether it's having my own tea house, the charitable work that I've done, to pursuing a life or a career in professional wrestling -- I think this is the American dream," he told ESPN back in 2016. "To me, I can't think of a better way to live anybody's life. You should do what you want to do. Life is such an incredible opportunity."
