Leonardo DiCaprio's Response to 'Cheap' Joke by Nikki Glaser Was Totally Unexpected
Nikki Glaser is the first to admit her Leonardo DiCapriojoke at the Golden Globes wasn't her most inspired work but that didn't stop him from responding in the most unexpected way.
To his credit, the 51-year-old actor, who is known more for his dating preferences than seemingly anything else, took the joke in stride and even sent Glaser a gift after she took aim at him. Her claim? That the most revealing interview DiCaprio has done was decades ago, where he admitted to loving pasta.
”Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke. It is cheap. I tried not to, but, like, we don’t know anything else about you, man. There’s nothing else. Open up! I’m serious! I looked! I searched!" she said during the live show.
The Golden Globes admission came about when Glaser was a guest on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, Apr. 21 where she opened up about her tour, hosting Saturday Night Liveand the feud between Alix Earl and Alex Cooper.
But when the chat with Jimmy Fallon turned to her recent Golden Globes hosting duties, Glaser shared DiCaprio's surprising reaction to her joke about his penchance for dating much younger women.
Glaser told Fallon that she struggled to come up with a joke about the Oscar winner because she "just didn't want to make the joke about how he has young girlfriends. It's been done so many times. I mean, that jokes been going on longer than his current girlfriend's been alive."
She went on to explain that there's really nothing else to joke about because DiCaprio doesn't reveal much about his personal life. So after digging, Glaser and her team came up with a Teen Beat interview from 1991 where DiCaprio admitted that he loves "pasta, pasta, and more pasta."
Glaser's pasta punchline landed well, with DiCaprio nodding in agreement that he did still enjoy pasta. And to prove that he was a good sport about it all, the One Battle After Another star sent her three baskets of pasta.
She called the move "so good" before joking, "And part of me was like, 'Does Leo want to smash?" Then, Glaser quipped, "The type of girl he goes for he wouldn't send pasta to."
2001 Novel Ranked Among the Best Books of the 2000s
The 2000s were big for fantasy adventure books. While many of the popular releases were written for children and young adults, there were also some excellent releases for adults. One of those that has made it to the “Best Books of the 2000s” on Goodreads is one of the latter.
The 2001 novel Life of Pi by Yann Martel sits in the Top 15 of best books of the decade, as voted on by Goodreads users. Yes, it was a book before the movie!
‘Life of Pi’ Is a Story of SurvivalOne of the reasons Life of Pi stands out is because it’s not just a fantasy adventure. At the heart of it is a story of survival, and there’s a heaviness in that considering the book was published on September 11, 2001.
Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel is a Tamil boy who finds himself shipwrecked in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He’s there for 227 days with just a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker for company, and we get to explore how he makes sure he and his friend make it through. However, it’s not just about survival through the days, but also about surviving spiritually, as an experience like that is sure to test faith.
Another beauty of the book is that it can gain multiple interpretations. This is a novel that challenges you to think and feel along with Pi, and that’s certainly led to some mixed reviews and feelings.
Adapting the Book Into a MovieLife of Pi was adapted into a movie in 2012, and it quickly gained a following. Both critics and audiences agree that the movie was well crafted, which is a rare feat. It holds an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score from the critics, with a Certified Fresh standing.
Admittedly, it would have been hard to sum up the movie with one trailer. After all, a whole movie with a teenager talking to an animal seems a little one-sided and boring. Many others have tried these bottle movies and failed. However, Ang Lee captured the heart of the story, bringing to life a philosophical and theological debate on survival and life.
1977 Power Ballad Named a No. 1 Hit Song Became a Breakup Anthem
Forty-nine years ago, beloved '70s artist Andy Gibb topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his heartbreak classic, "I Just Want to Be Your Everything."
Released in April 1977 as the lead single for his debut album, Flowing Rivers, "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" became a massive hit. Upon its release, the track climbed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 1 for four consecutive weeks and spending 16 weeks in the Top-10. The song's definitive chart dominance earned it recognition as the No. 2 song of 1977.

"I Just Want to Be Your Everything" served as the catalyst for Gibb's music career, experiencing significant commercial success. On February 1978, the track was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after selling over 1 million copies in the U.S. In total, the single sold over 2 million copies, marking it as a major smash hit.
Gibb, the younger brother of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb of the iconic Bee Gees, was recognized in 1978 at the 20th annual Grammy Awards with a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance. This nomination further solidified him as a major emerging figure in the music industry alongside his famous brothers.
Produced by Barry Gibb, Albhy Galuten, and Karl Richardson via RSO Records, "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" is recognizable for its signature late-disco-pop sound. The track blends groovy, energetic production, lush instrumentation and powerful falsetto vocals to create a definitive disco-pop power ballad.
Written by Andy's older brother Barry, the chart-topping track explores themes of utter devotion and longing to be a partner's everything. The song's upbeat shimmery production juxtaposes the lyricism, which dives into uncertainty and desperation within a relationship. This poignant vulnerability made the track an ultimate heartbreak classic.
After nearly five decades, Gibb's hit song continues to resonate with listeners on streaming platforms. On Spotify alone, "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" has garnered over 136 million streams, attesting to its long-lasting legacy as the gold standard of 1970s heartbreak disco-pop.

This Famous Model Just Wished Gigi Hadid a Happy 31st Birthday
Gigi Hadid’s biggest fan just wished her a very happy birthday. And no, it’s not her baby daddy, Zayn Malik. While the pair does share a child, five-year-old daughter Khai Malik, someone else was publicly wishing the model all the best on her big day. Instead, it was her mother (model and former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills), Yolanda Hadid, who posted a special message.
How Old Is Gigi Hadid?Jelena Noura Hadid—or as fans know her, Gigi—was born on April 23, 1995. That makes the celebrity 31 this year.
The daughter of model/reality TV star Yolanda and luxury real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, Gigi had a pretty posh life from the start. Fans of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise caught a glimpse of young Gigi on her mom’s show. When her mom joined the cast in 2012, the then-teenager was just a high schooler/aspiring model.
Over the course of her four seasons on the show, RHOBH cameras followed Yolanda as she helped Gigi move to New York City and start her own career. Of course, unlike most recent high school grads, Gigi didn’t move into a teeny tiny studio or dingy dorm. Instead, she called a 935-square-foot, million-plus dollar Manhattan apartment home.
Ever the hands-on mom, Yolanda helped her daughter make the transition from Southern California to the Big Apple. But that’s not all.
What Did Yolanda Hadid Wish for Her Daughter?Even though Gigi is now in the over-30 crowd, her proud mama still showers her with praise. In her recent Instagram post, Yolanda wrote, “Happy birthday, my love…I pray that each day, love, health, and happiness will come your way. Thank you for being an incredible daughter, extraordinary mother, and the best friend anybody could ask for.”
View this post on InstagramHadid (Yolanda, that is) continued, “Thank you for being on this journey with me and for making me proud every day.” Along with the heartwarming caption, the former Real Housewife posted three pics of the pair. Yolanda looks simply stunning in a slinky black sequined top, and Gigi shines in a simple white tank. If there’s any doubt where the birthday girl gets her looks, just check out these family photos.
Gigi responded to her mother’s precious post with, “I love you mama!” Birthday wishes poured in with countless comments for the newly turned 31-year-old and well over 18,000 likes.
View this post on InstagramThis isn’t the first time Yolanda has wished her daughter a happy birthday on social media. Last year, when Gigi turned the big 30, her famous mother shared a cute carousel of throwback pics on her Instagram page with the caption, “Thirty years went by in a flash, 10,950 days to be exact, but there hasn’t been one day without you in mind. As you know, giving birth to your first born is life changing, it really marks the first day of the rest of your life as you transition from womanhood into the blessing of motherhood.” Aww!
1982 Hit Ranked Among ‘Greatest Power Ballads’ of All Time Became a Timeless Classic
In 1982, Journey released a song that would go on to become a defining moment in the power ballad genre.
Their hit, "Open Arms," has since been ranked among the greatest power ballads of all time by Ultimate Classic Rock, a recognition that reflects its lasting emotional impact and widespread appeal.
Featured on the album Escape, the song quickly became one of Journey's biggest hits, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and solidifying the band's dominance in early '80s rock. Written by Steve Perry and Jonathan Cain, the track blends heartfelt lyrics with a sweeping arrangement that builds to an unforgettable crescendo.
At the center of the song is Perry's powerful vocal performance, which captures both vulnerability and intensity. His delivery, paired with the song’s piano-driven melody, helped set a new standard for emotional ballads in rock music.
"Open Arms" stood out for its sincerity, offering a straightforward message about love, reconciliation and emotional openness. That authenticity helped it connect with audiences across genres, making it a crossover success that remains widely recognized today.
But, not every member of the band was originally excited about the now-iconic track.
"I was actually perturbed — I was kind of scared of the song, to be completely honest," Journey guitarist Neal Schon told AXS TV. "I was always the rocker in the band, and so I thought it was really soft. And I think the way I described it to Jonathan and Perry, when they brought it, I go, 'Are you guys kidding? This is like Mary Poppins!'"
Audiences, however, proved Schon wrong.
"We played it the first time, and the audience went nuts. And I was astounded. I was happy, but I was blown away that I was so off-base and wrong about how people would perceive it, you know. And so, I turn to Steve afterwards and I go, 'I think they love that, man!' He looked at me like he wanted to take my head off!"
Over the years, the song has been covered by numerous artists and featured in films and television, further cementing its place in pop culture.
More than four decades later, "Open Arms" continues to resonate with listeners, often cited as one of the greatest love songs ever recorded.
With its inclusion in Ultimate Classic Rock's ranking, the track stands as a timeless classic—one that showcases the enduring power of a song built on raw emotion and unforgettable melody.

Nicole Kidman Proves She’s an Icon With 'Astonishing' Performance While Sick
You probably didn't realize it while you were watching the April 22 episode of Margo's Got Money Troubles, but leading lady Nicole Kidman was super sick that day. Nick Offerman, who plays her old wrestling pal, Jinx, told PEOPLE that Kidman was so ill, she "was literally taken to the hospital for an IV."
The former Parks and Recreation star recalled that a "huge set piece" was built, and "hundreds of extras" were cast to simulate a fan convention. In the scene, Offerman introduces his daughter, Margo (Elle Fanning), to Lace (Kidman). But after being told that morning that Kidman had the flu, no one was expecting the busy actress to show up to film.
"It's about 8:00 in the morning that we get this news," he said. "Come to be about 11:00 a.m., the word comes in: Nicole's coming."
Despite the excitement that the Practical Magic 2 star was showing up, it was obvious to everyone that she felt awful. "She was so pale, shaken. She just had the flu really so bad," Offerman said. Even so, she stayed to film her scenes and make sure the extravagant set wasn't wasted.
Not only did Kidman appear her usual vibrant self, but she also managed to dance around in the wrestling ring, even jump up and down a bit. She hugged and grappled with Offerman, proving what a consummate professional she is before being taken to the hospital. Offerman was impressed.
"And I just said to her, I already admired you so much, but this is how you get to be Nicole Kidman, is you show up so that your show doesn't lose a minute of your value," he remembered telling her. "It was so generous. It was astonishing."
Margo's Got Money Troubles is based on Rufi Thorpe's bestselling book of the same name. Just as in the novel, Margo is the daughter of ex-pro wrestler Jinx and Hooter's waitress Shayanne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Margo drops out of college after getting impregnated by her English professor, Mark (Michael Angarano).
One noticeable difference between the book and the series is the lawyer/ex-wrestler Jinx, who was created specifically for the Apple TV+ show. According to executive producer Eva Anderson, Kidman had only one stipulation when accepting the role.
"Well, I have to be able to get in the ring and wrestle with Nick Offerman," Anderson told TVLine. "Or I'm not doing it."
1985 Coca-Cola Launch Goes Down in History as All-Time 'Flop'
In a society where we've become the more conscious of our sugar intake, certain generations will still remember the days when the "Coke vs. Pepsi" debate was running rampant across America.
Millennials may recall the "Pepsi challenge" that ran on its own spread of commercials. And years earlier came the launch of a new spin on Coca-Cola, with an ad campaign that boasted how customers preferred it over Pepsi. Hmmm...
Thursday, April 23 marks 41 years since "New Coke" debuted in the U.S., with the soda company announcing what was supposed to be an exciting change in the original Coca-Cola formula. Check out a commercial from 1985 below promoting the all-new product — with the help of controversial comedian Bill Cosby:
Decades later, New Coke was so memorable that the business gamble is still being discussed and even taught to students — but for the wrong reasons.
Coca-Cola, which had been the world’s bestselling soft drink, had been facing increasing competition from rival Pepsi, and the company had wanted to re-energize the brand, HISTORY.com reports. In blind taste tests, Sure, consumers reportedly preferred New Coke over Pepsi and the original Coke in some blind taste tests — but more imporantly, fans remained sentimentally attached to their O.G. brand and ultimately reacted quite negatively to New Coke.
Per HISTORY.com, the company was flooded with up to 8,000 calls a day from dissatisfied consumers and received some 40,000 complaint letters. The soda company quickly got the message and brought back the original formula less than three months after New Coke launched.
On July 11, 1985, 79 days after the release of New Coke, Coke’s original formula returned to market, rebranded as Coca-Cola Classic. Phew!
In more recent news, Coca-Cola announced earlier this month a partnership with the America250 initiative, a year-long celebration to honor the history of the United States amid its 250th anniversary. Find out more here.

Which 'Temptation Island' Couples Are Still Together Now?
Temptation Island captivates viewers with a dramatic premise: real-life couples put their relationships to the ultimate test by separating and living with a group of singles eager to spark new connections. It's no surprise that not very many make it out together on the other side. So, who's still going strong after the show?
The Mark L. Walberg-hosted series first debuted on FOX in 2001, raising plenty of eyebrows with its bold concept but ultimately becoming an instant hit when more than 16.1 million viewers watched the premiere, according to Variety.

“It’s just kind of the realities of life that can […] prolong that process,” Summit said on the reunion, but both still sound like they're on the docket, with Wallace joking that Needham "brainwashed [him] into wanting" a wiener dog.
Cole Mueller and Scarlett Bentley (Netflix Season 2) Cole Mueller and Scarlett Bentley on 'Temptation Island'Netflix

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul has had her fair share of criticism lately. And for someone who rose to fame for her #MomTok TikTok videos, it doesn’t seem like this was an easy decision.
An investigation stemming from allegations made by Paul’s ex (and father of her third child), Dakota Mortensen, shut down filming of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ newest season. While there was a temporary pause, Hulu resumed taping the popular reality series after the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s office decided not to file charges. But, per People, Paul will not re-join her castmates on this season of the show.
Even though The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ fifth season is back on track, the same isn’t necessarily true for Paul’s other current venture—The Bachelorette. ABC pulled the plug on the romantic reality series after a video of Paul hurling chairs at Mortensen surfaced.
Rob Mills, the executive president of unscripted for Walt Disney TV, recently shared an update on both of Paul’s shows with Variety, explaining, “In regard to Taylor, we’re really making sure that—as a human being, on a personal level—she’s being taken care of first and foremost.” On the subject of The Bachelorette, the exec said, “Everything with that is one day at a time. There’s really nothing new to report right now.”
Mills also shed some light on the network’s decision to choose Paul as the latest Bachelorette, “I had met with Taylor. She had said, “Look, I’m raising three kids with different fathers; one, I have a phenomenal co-parenting relationship with. The other one is a challenge, but I’m really looking for a partner and somebody who can help me.” Her motives were very sincere,” But alas, it looks like Paul didn’t get her wish, and her fans will have to wait to see if The Bachelorette will ever air.
Given the scrutiny Paul has faced and the intensity of the media spotlight, the parent of three, once a viral sensation for her MomTok videos, is now taking a major step back. So if you want to check her Instagram or TikTok pages for updates, you won’t see anything there. As of April 23, Taylor’s Instagram page just has the “Sorry, this page isn’t available” message, and her TikTok says, “Couldn’t find this account.”
Like the fate of The Bachelorette, Paul’s socials are still an unknown. The reality TV star is yet to release a statement on when, or if, she will reinstate her accounts.
Elizabeth Smart Wins First Place in Bodybuilding Competition
Elizabeth Smart has taken first place in a bodybuilding competition.
The child safety advocate, 38, who rose to notoriety at just 14 years old when she was kidnapped from her Salt Lake City bedroom, took the top honors at the Wasatch Warrior bodybuilding and fitness competition in the Fit Model Novice Category, PEOPLE reported. She also won second place in the Fit Model category and ranked third in Fit Model Masters 35+.
Smart's coach, fitness and nutrition expert Robyn Maher, took to her Instagram stories to honor Smart, posting a photo of the rising bodybuilding star in a blue bikini from the side.
"So proud of my client who killed it on stage the other day," Maher wrote. "Her 4th competition and she isn't stopping! New goals have been set and a plan is in place. Proud of you, Elizabeth!"

Opening Up About Her Bodybuilding CareerSmart first opened up about her decision to pursue bodybuilding on Tuesday in a candid Instagram post, Parade previously reported. Sharing a photo of herself onstage at the same event, Smart spoke about how she realized many fans were probably shocked by the image.
"When I posted the pictures in my story of me standing on stage in a bikini it probably shocked many of you, and I understand the shock because had you asked me if I would ever compete in a bodybuilding show a couple of years ago I would have said, 'absolutely not! Never in 100 years!' This is actually the fourth competition I’ve done, but I was too afraid to post it before. Worried that I would be judged, not taken seriously, somehow perceived as less than or now unworthy to continue work as an advocate for all survivors. Then this past weekend it struck me how eerily familiar these feelings and thoughts are for too many survivors. I think it’s easy to be labeled as one thing, and honestly, that’s not me nor do I think it’s any of us we are more than just one topic, one idea, one label. I am interested in many things, and as I get older I realize more and more how important it is to make the most of today, we don’t know what tomorrow brings."
View this post on InstagramSmart went on to say that she doesn't want to get to the end of her life and feel any regret, which is why she has decided to go forward and try whatever she wants. She also noted that her body has carried her through horrific experiences, subtly referring to the horrible nine months she spent suffering abuse after being kidnapped. She was rescued by police and went on to become an activist and advocate for other survivors.
"This was a big change for me, it was hard, it pushed me, challenged me not to give up. I am so proud of myself for doing this. I am so proud of my body, and I want to celebrate it. My body has carried me through every worst day, every hellish grueling experience, it’s created and nurtured three beautiful children, my body has risen to every single challenge life has presented it with, and carried me through so I refuse to be ashamed of it. I refuse to feel embarrassed about trying something new and am embracing my chance at life to the absolute fullest I can. I only hope that we all find the courage to chase new experiences, goals, bettering ourselves, and most importantly happiness," she concluded.

We Asked 3 Trainers About the Best Move for Lower Belly Fat and They All Said the Same Thing
If you were to ask gym-goers which area of the body is the most frustrating to slim down, chances are, they’d say the dreaded middle-aged spread. Belly fat is such a common concern that it’s earned many nicknames over the years, including “muffin top,” “belly pooch,” “spare tire,” “love handles”—okay, you get the picture. The bottom line? Life happens, and so does belly fat.
This stubborn accumulation of fat becomes more common in midlife due to natural muscle loss (sarcopenia), hormonal and metabolic shifts and reduced physical activity. Much of it consists of visceral fat, which is situated deep inside the abdomen and wraps around your internal organs. This type of fat poses serious health risks—including cardiovascular disease, dementia, asthma and certain forms of cancer—and can be challenging to get rid of.
“Everyone stores fat differently, but the lower belly is one of the most common areas people find particularly stubborn. Struggling to lose fat in this area doesn’t mean your overall weight loss efforts aren’t working; it simply reflects how the body prioritizes fat storage and loss,” explains Deborah Luciano, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, from Yoga-Go, who has 20+ years of experience in the health and wellness space. “The lower abdomen has several characteristics that make fat here harder to reduce compared to other areas of the core or body. It is especially sensitive to factors such as stress, sleep, age and hormones. For instance, hormones like cortisol or insulin can encourage fat storage around the midsection, making visible progress slower.”
The good news? According to Harvard Health Publishing, regular exercise can help decrease the circumference of your waistline. Even if the number on the scale doesn’t drop much, you can still lose visceral belly fat and sculpt lean muscle.
You’ve got this, because we spoke with three trainers to learn the most productive exercise to burn lower belly fat, and they all had the same answer. So roll out your workout mat and let’s get started.

The Best Exercise To Address Lower Belly FatCatherine Falls Commercial/Getty Images
Experts agree that the pelvic tilt reigns supreme for addressing lower belly fat. This exercise fires up the deep core muscles, including the transverse abdominis (TA), as you rotate your pelvis backward and decrease the arching of the lower spine, Luciano explains.
“This movement encourages coordinated engagement of the abdominal wall and stabilizing muscles, creating a subtle ‘corset-like’ tension around the midsection,” she says. “While it doesn’t isolate the TA, it helps train core control and spinal support in a low-load way.”
According to Rob Moal, CPT with Train Like Rob, who is based in Vancouver, BC, the TA is the deepest abdominal muscle—and it’s something many classic ab exercises miss.
“The pelvic tilt also recruits the lower fibers of the rectus abdominis, the multifidus along the spine and the pelvic floor. It's a full deep-core activation, not just a surface-level crunch,” Moal explains.
Because the movement itself is small and controlled, it takes momentum out of the equation and isolates the deeper muscles, forcing them to do all the work. This is what makes the Pilates pelvic tilt so productive for training the lower core in a manner traditional ab workouts simply do not, says Josh York, Founder and CEO of GYMGUYZ, the world’s largest in-home and on-site personal training company.

How to do a pelvic tilt- Begin lying flat on your back on the mat with your knees bent, feet flat and arms at your sides.
- Take a deep breath in.
- On the exhale, gently tilt your pelvis, drawing your belly button in toward your spine and pressing your lower back into the mat.
- Hold for a few seconds before releasing to the start position.
Many of us have performed countless crunches and sit-ups in hopes of building a lean, more defined midsection. While these moves have forever been ab routine staples, they target the more “superficial ab muscles,” like the “six-pack”—and they don’t fire up the deep core, says Luciano. Pelvic tilts, however, engage the TA—a muscle that’s essential for core stability and establishing a flatter midsection.
“Another key difference is how these exercises affect the lower back. Crunches and sit-ups can cause it to arch if performed incorrectly, sometimes leading to compression or discomfort. Pelvic tilts encourage the lower back to stay pressed into the floor, promoting a safer spinal alignment and reducing unnecessary strain,” Luciano adds.
Sit-ups can also cause hip flexor dominance, where your muscles at the front of your hips take center stage, reducing engagement of the core. Pelvic tilts minimize this by ensuring the movement stays small and controlled throughout, allowing the deep muscles in your abdomen to lead the exercise.

The Importance of Form, Control and TempoWhen it comes to acing pelvic tilts, focusing on form, control and tempo is key. After all, this isn’t a power exercise, says Moal, but rather “neuromuscular re-education.” In layman’s terms, you’re teaching your deep core to activate correctly—usually for the first time.
Moal tells his clients to move slowly and with intention—fully exhaling during the tilt, holding for two to three seconds at the end range, and using control on the release.
“If you rush it, you recruit the wrong muscles and miss the point entirely,” he stresses.
The pelvic tilt also requires mindful breathing—specifically, diaphragmatic breathing. This breathing method—also known as “belly breathing,” or breathing deeply into your belly—helps coordinate the movement and ensures the right muscles are being used.
“During this exercise, this type of breathing turns a simple movement into an important tool for engaging the deep core. It also prevents common mistakes such as holding the breath and over-tensing surrounding muscles like the glutes, which can reduce the exercise’s effectiveness,” says Luciano.
Maximizing Your Routine for Best ResultsIf you’re set on losing lower belly fat, adopting a well-rounded approach is always key. While pelvic tilts are excellent for boosting deep core activation and improving muscle imbalances, they shouldn’t be the sole part of your belly fat-melting routine.
York says the pelvic tilt serves as an excellent warm-up or cool-down exercise to focus on breathing. Consider it your “foundation.” Once you learn how to control the pelvis and fire up your lower abs, you can transfer that same muscle engagement to other exercises to maximize their benefits.
“Combining pelvic tilts with other exercises, such as glute bridges, planks or other core movements, helps engage surrounding muscle groups and build overall strength. This not only supports better movement patterns but also increases overall energy expenditure,” Luciano points out. “It is also important to remember that you can’t spot-reduce fat. Since lower body fat is often more resistant and typically reduced later in the weight loss process, focusing only on this area won’t provide the desired results.”
Focusing on regular strength training, cardio, a nutritious diet and consistency is crucial in order to achieve noticeable results.

Heads Up—JetBlue Is Updating Its Boarding Process Too
If you have a flight with JetBlue coming up, keep a close eye on your boarding pass. Starting April 29, 2026, the airline is retiring its lettered boarding system (Groups A through F) in favor of a numbered process.
The goal is to make gate announcements "more intuitive," and easier to hear and understand, reducing that "gate lice" huddle we all try to avoid. While the categories aren't changing drastically, there is a new hierarchy to keep in mind, especially if you're a credit card holder or an "EvenMore" regular.

The New Boarding OrderThe new process consolidates the previous 11 categories into 10 distinct boarding groups. Here is exactly how the line will move:
- Pre-boarding: Customers with disabilities.
- Group 1: Mosaic 3 & 4 members and Mint customers.
- Group 2: Mosaic 1 & 2 members and "EvenMore" (extra legroom) customers.
- Group 3: JetBlue Premier and Business Cardmembers, Blue Extra fares, and those who purchased "Early Boarding" perks.
- Courtesy Boarding: Active military and customers traveling with car seats or strollers.
- Group 4: JetBlue Vacations customers and general boarding (based on seat location).
- Groups 5–8: General boarding (based on seat location).

What the New Numbers Mean for YouFor most travelers, the shift from "Group B" to "Group 3" is just a label swap. However, by moving to numbers, JetBlue is aligning more closely with the boarding styles of major carriers like United and Delta.
The real winner in this update? "EvenMore" seat purchasers. In the old system, they were often lumped into a broader "Group A" alongside various credit card holders. In the new 2026 structure, they have secured a clear spot in Group 2, right behind the top-tier Mosaic and Mint passengers.
Notably, JetBlue has clarified that unaccompanied minors will now be escorted onto the aircraft after all other passengers have boarded. This ensures that flight attendants can give them full attention during the settling-in process without the chaos of a general boarding rush.

1976 Country Icon Hit a Major Milestone 50 Years Ago Today as New Music Emerges
On April 23, 1976, a rising country star stepped onto one of the genre’s most revered stages and marked a career-defining moment that still resonates five decades later. The singer made his debut as a member of the Grand Ole Opry that night, performing “The Shelter of Your Eyes” and “You’re My Best Friend”—two songs that would come to define his understated, deeply emotional style.
That artist was Don Williams, the baritone-voiced hitmaker known as the “Gentle Giant,” whose calm delivery and introspective lyrics helped shape country music throughout the 1970s and ’80s.
Now, 50 years after that milestone, Williams’ legacy is once again in the spotlight. As part of the Opry’s centennial celebration, the Opry 100 Honors Don Williams show is set for June 10, bringing together some of today’s biggest stars to celebrate his enduring influence.
Among those honoring Williams are Keith Urban and Trisha Yearwood, both of whom have long cited him as a major inspiration. Urban has often spoken about growing up with Williams’ music playing at home, calling it the soundtrack of his childhood. He later collaborated with Williams on the song “Imagine That” for the 2012 album And So It Goes. Yearwood, meanwhile, paid tribute to Williams on the 2017 album Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams and shared a connection through famed producer Garth Fundis, who helped craft Williams’ signature sound.
In addition to the tribute concert, fans will soon hear something entirely new from the late star. A collection of previously unheard recordings, discovered by his son Tim Williams and longtime producer Fundis, will be released May 29 as Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes. The songs were recorded between 1979 and 1984, a period that produced some of Williams’ most beloved hits, including “Tulsa Time,” “I Believe in You,” “It Must Be Love,” and “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good.”
With his steady voice and no-frills approach, Williams built a catalog that has quietly endured for generations. Fifty years after that pivotal night on the Opry stage, his music continues to offer the same sense of warmth, reflection, and timeless comfort that first made him a star.
Mariska Hargitay 'Burst Into Tears' Over 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' Cancellation
Mariska Hargitaywas emotional over the cancellation of Law & Order: Organized Crime starring her close friend Christopher Meloni.
Hargitay spoke with Extra in a video shared on Wednesday, April 22, where she shared that she "burst in to tears" when she saw Meloni's post on Instagram about the show being cancelled.
"He was so beautiful and open," she said, "It has been a great ride. It has been so beautiful and intimate and such a huge part of his life. [It] was life-changing for him."
She also expressed how the news of the show's cancellation took her by surprise.
"Chris is working and in demand, and such a magnificent actor, but it's, in a way, closing a chapter," she said. "So when that happens, one needs to take inventory, right? And it's a real marker in your life."
When asked if fans would see her and Meloni together again on screen, Hargitay replied, "Somehow, someway, yes."
Meloni shared a video on Instagram last week thanking fans for their support following the cancellation news. He wrote in the caption, "Thank you OC/SVU fans. You gave me a life"
“Hey everyone, I just saw that they announced OC, Organized Crimewon’t be coming back,” Meloni began in the video. “So I wanted to take this moment to say thank you to the fans, who not only helped give the character of Elliot Stabler life and longevity, but for sticking with him and welcoming him back.”
He continued, "It was a good ride, I had a great time playing him. It was a great ride, but thank you. You helped give me a career that I never dreamed of. Nearly 17-odd years.”
Law & Order: Organized Crime premiered in 2021 and aired its fifth season in April 2025. Meloni revived his beloved character from Law & Order: SVU, Elliott Stabler, in the series. Meloni starred alongside Hargitay in SVU from 1999 to 2011.
