Jinger Duggar Says It’s ‘Hard’ to Talk About Brother Joseph’s Arrest: ‘Reopened Old Wounds’
Jinger Duggar Vuolo is sharing how she's doing after her brother Joseph Duggar was arrested and charged with child molestation.
During a Wednesday, Apr. 29 Q&A session on Jinger’s Instagram Story, a fan asked the 19 Kids and Counting star how she's holding up as the case makes its way through court.
"Are you okay? You look so disconnected in your podcasts," the fan wrote, referencing Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo's Jinger & Jeremy podcast. "It's ok to not be okay. I am sorry."
Jinger replied, "Thanks for asking. It's been a heavy season that reopened old wounds. I wanted to talk about these things on the pod, and at the same time it's honestly so hard to do."
"I've been plugged in deep with my community here, not as active on socials, enjoying fun days with my little fam, and God is giving me help as I see brighter days ahead," she added.

Joseph was arrested and charged for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor, on Mar. 18.
Two days later, Joseph and his wife Kendra Duggar were hit with additional child endangerment charges—unrelated to Joseph’s initial case.
Kendra was released from jail shortly following her arrest after posting a $1,470 bond. Joseph, for his part, was released from custody in Florida after posting a $600,000 bond on Mar. 31. Joseph and Kendra have pled not guilty on all charges.
Jinger and Joseph's older brother Josh Duggar was also convicted of possessing child sexual abuse material in 2021 and sentenced to over 12 years in prison. In 2015, Josh allegedly confessed to molesting multiple young girls, including some of his sisters.

2006 Hit Film Was Just Ranked the 'Greatest Dark Fantasy Movie Masterpiece' of All Time
Many dark fantasy movies, with their unique worldbuilding and usually disturbing imagery, have enthralled audiences and critics alike. However, some dark fantasy films are considered better than others. For instance, on April 29, Colliderreleased a list of the 10 greatest movie masterpieces from said genre.
The films listed included 1982's The Dark Crystal, Hellboy from 2004, The Last Unicorn, also from 1982, and The NeverEnding Story from 1984.
Guillermo del Toro's beloved 2006 film Pan's Labyrinth, which focuses on a Spanish girl, Ofelia (Ivana Baquero), attempting to complete tasks in a bizarre, creature-filled underworld, took home the ranking's top spot. Collider noted that the fairytale film's symbolism and direct imagery showcase the horrors brought on by the Franco Dictatorship.
Pan's Labyrinth has a score of 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Guillermo del Toro Discussed the 2006 Film's Fairytale AspectsIn a 2019 interview with Warner Brothers Entertainment, del Toro, who directed and wrote Pan's Labyrinth, shared that he believes the 2006 film has a timeless quality.
"I wanted it to feel like it's a movie you heard [before]. And it's a very ancient fairytale that has been repeated many times, in many generations. I didn't want it to feel new. I wanted it to feel eternal. Like it came from a long, long oral tradition. And it has that power, fortunately," said the Shape of Water director.
He also commented on the theory that the film's fantasy aspects were imagined by Ofelia.
"I wanted the audience to experience a movie, in which, they were not sure if the fairytale elements were real or not. But I was sure. As far as I'm concerned, they are real, not in the way people understand it, but I happen to believe that fantasy stories have the same weight in shaping how we are as real things," explained del Toro in the 2019 interview.
Charlie Kirk’s Protégée is Comparing Kirk’s Death to Princess Diana’s
Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist known for his right-wing organization Turning Point USA, was fatally shot seven months ago. His protégée, Isabel Brown, recently opened up about how she’s still mourning his death.
Brown, who called Kirk her mentor, is an author and social media influencer, as well as a spokesperson for Turning Point. The 28-year-old was on the April 27 episode of the Stay True podcast, where she compared the societal mourning of Kirk to the death of Princess Diana in 1997.
“There’s this personal aspect to it that, of course, takes years and years and years to get through, and that’s just grief when you lose anyone in your life, but especially in such a traumatic way,” Brown said. “Then, there’s this extra societal redefining layer of grief that I think we last, honestly, experienced in culture probably with the death ofPrincess Diana.”
Brown continued, saying that she hasn’t seen such large prayer vigils since Diana died in a car accident in Paris.
“We were toddlers when that happened, so our generation certainly has no level of experience with this,” Brown said.
Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, who has spent the year on her Make Heaven Crowded Tour. Before the tour began, she addressed criticism over her grieving process.
“They say time heals,” Erika said. “But love doesn’t ask to be healed. Love asks to be remembered. It’s humbling to realize that this magnitude of suffering didn’t steal my love for my husband. It amplified it. It crystallized it.”
Brown said on the podcast that there’s been “a difficult level of processing” Kirk’s assassination.
“Those of us who worked for him for so many years and who knew him personally all talk about it all the time that we have to kind of process in two layers right now,” Brown continued. “You’re mourning the loss of this amazing person who meant so much to you intimately, someone who you owe your career to, someone who you owe your family to. I can’t tell you how many hundreds or thousands of families like mine met at a TPUSA conference and worked for Charlie, and we all have children now.”
The full episode of the Stay True podcast with Brown is available to watch on YouTube.
1978 Hit With Iconic Sax Solo Ranked Best Soft Rock Song That Actually Rocks
In 1978, something magical happened. Rocks fans were gifted with a soft-rock hit that also actually rocks. A unicorn of the subgenre, Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street” is a full-bodied mix of melancholic melody, polished instrumentation, and the greatest saxophone solo of all time that solidifies the track as one of the most recognizable classic rock hits of the era.
Written and sung by Rafferty, with the sax riff performed by Raphael Ravenscroft, “Baker Street” won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song and soared to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed for six weeks, knocking the all-conquering Saturday Night Fever soundtrack off the charts. The track also helped its classic album, City to City, sell nearly 6 million copies. Not to mention, thePaul McCartney sent the Scottish singer-songwriter a telegram praising his “incredible song.”
Though labeled under the “soft rock” genre, the track’s driving energy and Ravenscroft’s killer sax riff deliver a steady groove that when combined with layered instrumentation creates one of the best examples of a soft rock-class rock crossover.
View this post on Instagram“Even before Foo Fighters covered ‘Baker Street,’ I knew this song rocked,” American Songwriter, which ranks the song the best “soft rock song from the 1970s that also rocks hard.” “You might think a soft rock jam that opens with a sax riff isn’t capable of rocking, but you’d be wrong. Scottish singer Gerry Rafferty brings the verses down to a contemplative vibe, setting you up for when the sax inevitably returns. To be clear, I’m writing this without irony. Just crank it, and you’ll see what I’m talking about here.”
Often described as a doomed artist, Rafferty was riddled with legal troubles when he wrote “Baker Street.” A former member of the band Stealers Wheel, he was wading through a ton of lawsuits at the time and channeled all of that tension into his acclaimed hit. Though a private and very anti-rock star, “Baker Street” immortalized Rafferty, cementing him as “the poet of urban disillusionment.”

“He was very guarded,” the former head of press at United Artists and Rafferty’s manager, Michael Grey, said, via Louder. “He was very sure of his own talent and equally suspicious of how it would be exploited.”
“He was a titan, a giant,” Barbara Dickson, who contributed backup vocals on Rafferty's City to City album, said. “He could have been as famous as any songwriter in the world, but chose not to be. One thing I do know is that James Taylor wrote Gerry a fan letter about another song on City To City, ‘Whatever’s Written in Your Heart.’ I rest my case.”
“Baker Street” was given new life when Dave Grohl got ahold of it in the ’90s. The band released it as a B-side to their hit single “My Hero” on their 2007 10th anniversary reissue of their record, The Colour and the Shape. They, of course, replaced the smooth sax with pounding percussion, keeping with the Seattle rock sound Grohl made legendary with Nirvana, but still it was well received, called a “deeply satisfying cover” by Slate.
No doubt the rendition by the Foo Fighters rocks, but Rafferty’s beautiful jazzy rock rendition wins out with us. Rafferty passed away in 2011 at the age of 63. Ravenscroft died three years later at 60. But their legacy of creating the best soft rock song that actually rocks lives on.

Carl Radke’s Soft Bar Opens—and Kyle Cooke Reveals His Biggest Regret
Despite facing marital and business challenges last summer, Kyle Cooke now admits he regrets not investing in Carl Radke’s Soft Bar. Amid the many Summer Housestorylines, one lingering issue is Carl’s disappointment that Kyle didn’t back the venture, even after Carl learned Kyle was close to losing his company, Loverboy.
Carl expressed disbelief that Kyle didn't invest, especially when Carl financially supported Loverboy in the early days. Even though his marriage to Amanda Batula was in shambles and his business was bottoming out, Kyle now says he truly regrets not showing some sort of financial support.
Soft Bar's grand opening was featured on the latest Summer House episode, and Kyle shared a carousel of photos on Instagram along with a caption, expressing how proud he is of Carl. He wrote, "Putting yourself out there and taking a ton of risk doing something that isn’t widely accepted or adopted is the very premise of entrepreneurship."
View this post on InstagramHe added, "I wish I could have shown my belief in Carl in the form of an investment, and in retrospect wish I just wrote a small check as a vote of confidence, but hindsight is 20/20. Most people don’t have cameras following them so they can learn from their mistakes months later." Kyle concluded his post, writing that he loves Carl like a brother and this moment in particular "gave me a ton of pride."
During the Summer House episode, Kyle expressed a lot of anxiety surrounding his inability to invest after Carl shouted out those who supported his business endeavor with their "wallets."
"To be honest, I'm a little shook," Kyle shared in a confessional. "You know, this conversation about investing took place literally seven months ago, and again this summer. I've tried to be open and honest with where I'm at with my business, marriage, our sex life. He knows more than everybody."
Previews show Carl and Kyle come to blows during a combustible event at the house, possibly over this frustration.
Summer House is on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
2004 Film Ranked No. 1 for Best Biopic Performance
Every year, there seems to be a new biopic released. Acting is typically subjective, but a biopic of a well-known figure gives a better picture of what people should expect. This is probably why biopics, when done well, get nominated at the Academy Awards.
But what is the best performance of an actor portraying another famous figure? The answer unsurprisingly earned an Oscar.
Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles in ‘Ray'MsMojo made a power ranking of biopics. Paul Dano as Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys in Love & Mercy made the top 10. Gary Oldman as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy, placed right under Angela Bassett as Tina Turnerin What's Love Got to Do with It. But there is one performance that had them all beat.
Related: Rarely Seen Jackson Family Member Attends ‘Michael’ Premiere
"This might be one of the most spot-on biopic castings of all time," the narrator said. "And we aren't just talking about Jamie Foxx's startling resemblance to the iconic Ray Charles. He could've gotten by on looks alone. But Fox transcends superficiality and becomes one with the R&B legend."
The 2005 Oscar winner wore contacts to play the blind pianist. "It was tough because after six hours you lose perception of your surroundings, and then you begin to notice voices a lot more," Foxx told the BBC. "When they glued my eyes together for the prosthetics, I even had to keep it that way for lunch, which was tough, but we couldn't afford the time to remove them and put them on again."
Foxx dropped 33 pounds for the role. He didn't sing for the movie, although he showed off his vocal talent by releasing his own music. Foxx did play piano for the role.
His biopic portrayal sets a high bar for this type of acting. It doesn't feel like an act, but an embodiment of another person.

Mike Vrabel Receives Standing Ovation at Patriots Season Ticket Holder Event Amid Dianna Russini Scandal
Video captures New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel receiving a standing ovation at a season ticket holder event amid his alleged cheating scandal with former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini.
On Tuesday, Apr. 28, Vrabel received a round of applause as he entered the event for a Q&A with fans at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The applause turned into a standing ovation after Patriots radio analyst Scott Zolak stood up and urged the crowed to also stand.
Vrabel led the Patriots to their first Super Bowl since the Tom Brady era earlier this year, with the team ultimately losing 29-13 to the Seattle Seahawks.
Vrabel and Patriots quarterback Drake Maye were also named the "most influential Bostonians" by Boston Magazine on Apr. 28.

Two weeks ago, photos published in the New York Post showed Russini and Vrabel holding hands and hugging at a luxury hotel in Arizona.
After the pictures went viral, both called the photos “misleading” and vehemently denied rumors of an affair. The journalist has been married to Kevin Goldschmidt since 2020 while the football coach and his wife Jennifer have been married since 1999.
Nevertheless, Russini resigned from the publication on Apr. 14, and Vrabel announced on Thursday, Apr. 23 that he would be seeking counseling in the wake of the scandal.
Later on Apr. 23, Page Six released photos that appeared to show Russini and Vrabel kissing at a bar in New York City in March 2020—seemingly confirming the alleged affair and sparking questions about the timeline of the pair’s relationship.

“I take accountability for my actions and the actions that caused a distraction to the people that I care most about,” Vrabel told reporters before the 2026 NFL Draft on Apr. 23. “My family, this football team, the organization and the fans.”
Earlier that day, Vrabel announced that he would miss the third day of the draft on Saturday, Apr. 25 to attend counseling in the wake of the scandal.
“My priorities are my family and this football and in that order,” he added. “There’s a balance there that I’m going to create. My family needs me this weekend and that’s where I’ll be.”
Vrabel declined to elaborate on what the counseling would entail, calling it a “private and personal matter.” He also told reporters that he could not say for certain if he would miss any further football activities going forward.

1989 Glam Metal Track Ranked Among 'Greatest Power Ballads' Was a Career-Defining Hit
Some of the greatest power ballads ever released came from the rock genre, even from glam metal bands like Warrant. The '80s band got some mixed reactions to their 1989 power ballad that ranked high on the charts, but ended up being their biggest-selling track.
With tracks like "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue and "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses, Warrant also added to the power ballad phenomenon. Their track "Heaven" was released in July of 1989 as the second single of their debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. Its lyrics became a love anthem as they spoke about heaven being on earth as long as they're with the girl he loves.
"Heaven" was originally written by vocalist Jani Lane and drummer Steven Sweet when they were still with the band Plain Jane. A few days after the band broke up, the two auditioned for Warrant, and the song came with them. Its well-received response in Los Angeles led them to get a record deal with Columbia, who assigned the track to producer Beau Hill.
While Hill hated the track, Warrant fought to keep it on their album. Columbia ended up seeing the hit potential of "Heaven," disliked Hill's mix, and gave it to producer John Jansen. Believe it or not, Columbia still wasn't on board with Jansen's mix and gave Hill another chance.
"Heaven" became a major success for Warrant as a power ballad, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached No. 3 on the Mainstream Rock chart and became one of the band's best-known tracks. UltimateRockClassic ranked it at No. 14 on their list of the "Greatest Power Ballads."
Related: 1983 No. 1 Hit Dance Track Won an Oscar for ‘Best Original Song’ 42 Years Ago
The song's popularity was met with some backlash from the rock community, especially for Lane. Many felt that releasing the power ballad as a glam metal band was cheesy and "wimpy." They felt the genre of music didn't fit their image.
In an interview with BAM in 1992, Lane said, "It sucks that I get labeled as a ballad writer, but I figure, if I write good ballads, then screw it, I write good ballads. I've never been one of those people that think if it's not X amount heavy, that it's not cool."
"The people who disrespect me because I don't apologize for writing a ballad now and then, I just can't relate to that. Seriously, if anyone ever walked up to me and said 'The Long and Winding Road' is a wimp song. I'd probably hit 'em! I like both extremes – the heavy metal and the ballads. A good song is a good song."
Lane was right, seeing as some of the best power ballads to have ever been released about love came from some of the most iconic rock bands.
Son of Country Music Legend Celebrates His Dad's 93rd Birthday With Moving Tribute Performance
Today marks country music icon Willie Nelson's 93rd birthday, and his son Lukas Nelson, 37, a country singer in his own right, didn't let the day go by without a public tribute. In a special birthday dedication, Lukas took to Instagram and sang a moving rendition of his dad's classic 1975 song "Hands on the Wheel."
On the short Instagram video, Lukas writes a short message, "Thought I’d do part of this song as a happy birthday to dad! Happy Birthday dad! Love you." When the first line of "Hands on the Wheel" begins, we hear Willie's voice and then immediately, it switches to Lukas who, accompanied by an acoustic guitar, jumps in with his own rendition of the song.
Willie Nelson released "Hands on the Wheel" on April 30, 1975, as part of his concept album Red Headed Stranger. The country song, written by Billy Callery, is widely discussed as a song about finding peace and redemption after some life-on-life's-terms chaos, whatever that might be for the listener. The song falls at the end of Red Headed Stranger, an album that is largely about the life of an outlaw, so it serves as the perfect, reflective finale.

The "Hands on the Wheel" lyrics capture that special kind of serenity that comes with surrender: "Now my hands on the wheel / Of something that's real / And I feel like I'm goin' home."
In a fantastic interview with Texas Monthly, singer-songwriter Steve Gunn talks about what Willie Nelson's song "Hands on the Wheel" means to him (worth reading in full if you love the song and Willie's music). "To me, it’s this just incredibly beautiful love song," says Gunn. "And it’s such this deep well of emotion. I mean, it’s a real tearjerker for me. It’s hard to hold back, it’s hard to not cry when I hear this song."
Indeed! Definitely choked up a tad hearing his son Lukas sing several of the lines, including "I looked in your eyes / And I found myself in you," followed by "I feel like I'm goin' home."
Fans in the comments appreciated the shared song. Here are some highlights:
- "Your dad is my all time favorite artist! Thank you for sharing him with us, and for sharing your talent with us too!"
- "Awe man! Perfect song for today as it was when it was written. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️🥰"
- "Love these lyrics"
- "At a time when the world seems to be spinnin...indeed..and yet here you are giving us your best and honoring your dad ."
- "What a beautiful way to honor your dad, an American treasure! ♥️"
- "So sooo good Lukas, sounding so much like your dad🥹🥰My heart bursts for this 1 by him💓Happiest birthdays to the 🐐🥳💝"
- "A favorite of mine♥️Happy Birthday Willie🎈❣️"
- "Wow 93! Happy Birthday!"
- "Happy birthday to your Dad- he’s given us so much, thanks for sharing him with us for all of the music and all of the years. ❤️"
- "Oh Willie made a good man!"
The younger Nelson makes no secret about the love and deep respect he holds for his dad online and in interviews. Sounds like a beautiful father-son relationship. Their shared love for songwriting and country music is, no doubt, another tie that binds.
Today, however, Lukas stayed mum about his dad and what the song "Hands on the Wheel" means to him—he just wished his dad a happy birthday and let the music say the rest. Beautiful.

Gina (Caroline Rhea) interrupts a conversation between Boone and Mickey to inform them that the DEA is taking the drug money they confiscated in Episode 16. The news doesn't sit well with Mickey and Boone, as they reiterate why the money belongs to the Edgewater Sheriff’s Department, not the DEA.
Mickey goes into fight mode, saying she’s going to reach out to her contact at the DEA, who may "cut through the bureaucratic tape," which quickly grabs Boone’s attention. She’s referring to undercover agent Alec (Wes Chatham), with whom she was involved when Sheriff Country Season 1 began.
After Mickey leaves to find Alec, Boone has some news for Gina—he needs time off because he scored tickets (with seats right behind home plate) to the Oakland A’s vs. San Francisco Giants Opening Day game.

Gina clocks that the tickets are for his favorite baseball team playing against Mickey’s favorite baseball team. Boone protests, saying he was thinking of asking Mickey, but simply as friends, and nothing more.
There’s no question that Gina is all for this union, even hinting that Mickey and Boone will need a hotel room for the game because it is six hours away. However, Mickey getting in touch with Alec again may just put a wrench in Boone’s surprise.
When Boone asks if Gina will help him out, she quips, "Let me work my magic," possibly a subtle Sabrina the Teenage Witch reference?
Sheriff Country sneak peek (1:16)Sparks have been flying between Mickey and Boone since Sheriff Country debuted, but so far, they've kept their relationship in the friend zone despite both being single.
The preview is just a glimpse at what's going on in the newest episode, as a synopsis for “The Hunting Party” reads: "Sheriff Mickey Fox investigates a fatal shooting that appears to be a tragic accident during a lavish Fraley family boar hunt, setting off a chain of events with far-reaching consequences for Edgewater."
Sheriff Country airs Fridays at 8/7c on CBS.

Beloved '90s Film Franchise Is Getting a Live-Action Series from Steven Spielberg
Get ready, spooky season junkies — a ghostly new live-action series is creeping your way.
A fresh take on the beloved '90s film franchise Casper is coming to Disney+, Deadlinereported on Wednesday, April 29, confirming that a new live-action series will soon bring Casper the Friendly Ghost back to life.
Steven Spielberg is signed on to executive produce the new series, along with Rob Letterman and Hilary Winston, executive producers of the Disney+ series Goosebumps, who are both set to direct the new live-action project. (Spielberg also executive produced the 1995 film Casper, starring Christina Ricci.)
Casper first originated as animated movies released in the '40s and '50s, before later being made into comic books starring and even a few animated TV series. In the '90s, the titular friendly ghost arrived on the big screen, alongside Ricci and Bill Pullman, while being voiced by Malachi Pearson. 1995's Casper was followed up by four other films from 1997 to 2006, including a 1998's Casper Meets Wendy, featuring Hilary Duff.

♬ original sound - Prime VideoAccording to Deadline, Disney+ landed the new series after a competitive five-way bidding war. While not much is known about the project so far, the outlet reports that it will serve as a "modern update on the classic ghost story."
It is also expected to have a "dark edge," similar to Netflix's Wednesday series' take on the Addams Family.
And the darker twist isn't the only similarity that the new Casper series has with Wednesday, as both remakes are based on original '90s films that starred Christina Ricci. She famously starred as Wednesday Addams in 1991's The Addams Family, and also played the role of Kathleen "Kat" Harvey in Casper.
Ricci made a triumphant return to the Addams Family universe in Netflix's Wednesday, though she stepped into a different role from that of Wednesday, who is portrayed by Jenna Ortega.
Fans can only hope that Ricci might reunite with Casper in the upcoming Disney+ project, which does not yet have an official cast or release date.

1972 Rock Classic, Named No. 1 Hit Song for Six Weeks, Became a Breakup Anthem
Fifty-four years ago, the iconic '70s soft rocker Gilbert O'Sullivan dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his classic hit, "Alone Again (Naturally)."
Released in the U.S. in May 1972 as a standalone single, and later featured on reissues of his second studio album Back to Front, "Alone Again (Naturally)" was a massive success. Upon its U.S. release, the track climbed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 1 for six weeks—a huge triumph for a song not initially attached to an album. Overall, the song ranked as the No. 2 song for the entire year, right behind Don McLean's "American Pie."

Aside from its U.S. success, "Alone Again (Naturally)" made waves on a global scale. It topped the charts in Canada and secured the No. 3 spot on the U.K. Singles Chart. In 1975, the track was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 2 million copies in the U.S. alone, affirming its ability to move audiences.
Produced by Gordon Mills via MAM Records, "Alone Again (Naturally)" is recognized as a melancholic rock ballad. The production utilizes a music-hall piano style, lush string orchestration and delicate vocals to create a dreamy rock atmosphere. When paired with the track's tender lyrics, the production expertly amplifies its honest message.
Written by O'Sullivan, the track explores acceptance following devastating loss. The lyrics are vulnerable and tell the story of a narrator being abandoned at the alter and tragically losing his parents. O'Sullivan crafted a breakup ballad laced with themes of resilience and strength, leaving listeners with the sentiment that it is okay to be alone.
Over five decades after its release, "Alone Again (Naturally)" continues to touch audiences in the streaming era. On Spotify alone, the track has garnered over 304 million streams, attesting to its longstanding legacy as an enduring '70s rock classic.

Josh Duggar Allegedly Being Held in Solitary Confinement, Prison Sentence Extended
Josh Duggar is allegedly being held in solitary confinement due to prison "rule violations," according to his cousin Amy Duggar King.
“Duggar news doesn’t stop. Always something to discuss. Always something to comment on. Again, someone else is in trouble,” Amy said on Instagram. “Josh Duggar, again, is in solitary confinement and his release date has been pushed back so we can praise God for that.”
Amy also claimed Josh lost “more good time credit” at FCI Seagoville in Texas, but when asked by Us Weekly, the prison did not share details about his alleged violation.
“What’s crazy is, he was trying to prove to the court that he is a good person,” Amy continued. “He’s been trying to appeal his sentence ever since he got in.”
"Yet he’s breaking rules behind closed doors and doing things that [are] not allowed in prison," she added, seemingly referring to online rumors Josh snuck a phone in. "Don’t you realize that’s not being a good person? That’s not having any character.”
“Another delay, another violation and another reminder on why he’s there in the first place," she concluded.

Josh was convicted of possessing child sexual abuse material in 2021 and sentenced to over 12 years in prison. His release was originally scheduled for August 2032, however, it has been pushed back three times.
Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, Apr. 22 that Josh's new release date is Feb. 2, 2033. It is unknown what caused his release date to be pushed back.
Josh's attorney, Beau Brindley, told People on Wednesday, Apr. 29, "There is no way ... to know the basis of a deviation of this limited magnitude," adding that it could "be the result of program availability, which is wholly out of the inmate's control."
The extension of Josh's sentence comes at the same time that his fourth and final appeal of his conviction is working its way through the courts.

2001 Hit Ranked 'the Greatest Pop-Punk Song of the 2000s'
The early 2000s music scene was inundated by pop-punk bands. With so many classic 2000s pop-punk hits, many music lovers may have a difficult time narrowing down the best ones from that era. In November 2025, the publicationCollider took on that task and ranked the top "10 greatest pop-punk songs of the 2000s."
The list included pop-punk hits like 2005's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! at the Disco, Paramore's "Misery Business" released in 2007, The All-American Rejects' 2005 song, "Dirty Little Secret," and "Thnks fr th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy from 2007.
Collider named blink-182's 2001 song "Stay Together for the Kids," off the band's fourth album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, as the best 2000s pop-punk song. The publication reported that the hit regarding divorce is unexpectedly somber for the somewhat goofy band, consisting of Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus.
Tom DeLonge Explained What Inspired Him to Write 'Stay Together for the Kids'In a 2016 interview with Ernie Ball, DeLonge shared his inspiration for writing "Stay Together for the Kids." DeLonge said he was upset by his parents' divorce when he was 18. He shared that on his 18th birthday, his father "moved out" and took all the furniture.
"It was the 20th anniversary of my parents' [marriage]. And all hell broke loose on that day. Like anybody, it would affect you to see your parents to break up like that. I wanted to tackle that in a song," said the musician, now 50.
DeLonge also said he made a purposeful choice for the song to start with a light acoustic sound to turning on "all the pedals" to mirror the emotions adolescents go through during their parents' divorces.
"I think we hit on something that sounded like adolescence lashing out on being caught in the middle of a storm that they had no control of. You know, you grow up thinking that your parents are more powerful than they are. They know a lot more than they do. And as you start to get older, you learn they are just people too," continued DeLonge in the 2016 interview.
Who Won ‘Jeopardy’ Today? (April 29, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer
There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.
Here's a spoiler-filled recap of who won Jeopardy! today, plus the answer to Final Jeopardy.
Greg Shahade wins his third consecutive game, bringing his total winnings to $74,602.
Who are the Jeopardy contestants today?Greg ShahadeGreg Shahade, a chess player from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, continues his impressive run after ending Jamie Ding's historic 31-game streak. Shahade found all three Daily Doubles across both rounds, answering all of them correctly and wagering aggressively.
Ian SamsonIan Samson is a firefighter from Matthews, North Carolina.
Beth OrlanskyBeth Orlansky is a retired public interest attorney from Jackson, Mississippi.

What was Final Jeopardy today?Final Jeopardy today was in the category "HISTORIC DECLARATIONS."
The clue: "The 1848 Seneca Falls Declaration added these 2 words to the Declaration of Independence line beginning, "We hold these truths..."
The answer: What are "and women"?
Two of the three contestants got the Final Jeopardy right. Shahade wagered $4,001, just enough to cover a scenario where if Samson wagered everything and got it right ($20,000), he’d still win by a dollar. That didn’t happen, however, as Samson missed his clue, wagering everything and landing at $0 for 3rd place. Orlansky played a quiet yet still savvy game, getting Final Jeopardy correct, with her small wager of $33 allowing her to grab 2nd place with a final game total of $4,233.
Shahade will return on Thursday for his attempt at win number 4.
