'Hunting Wives' Stars Malin Åkerman And Brittany Snow Sizzle In Red At Netflix Event
The Hunting Wives sirens are back.
At the Netflix upfront this week, the stars of the show, Malin Åkerman and Brittany Snow appeared together at the event's red carpet, getting viewers ready for the upcoming season of the scandalous series.
Taking to Instagram, Snow shared a batch of photos showing off her look in solo shots as well as with Åkerman.
View this post on Instagram"I mean we couldn't wear blue!" she captioned the pictures, which showed off her red Alex Perry dress, that was complete with a matching purse by Liffner. Åkerman didn't post individual photos from the event, however she sported a red crop top with red high-waisted pants.
And fans were loving it.
"The Mothers have arrived," one commenter wrote. "You two look fabulous, as per usual."
"The red is dangerously attractive on you two," added another.
"Two beauties in one frame," said a third.
A handful of fans were also asking for the Season 2 trailer to be released.

In Snow's caption though, she could have also been alluding to the conservative political values of the Texas town that the steamy show takes place in. Specifically, Dermot Mulroney, who plays the husband to Åkerman's character, Margo Banks, is a republican running for governor.
This also isn't the first time Snow has worn red to promote the series as she donned a red Givenchy mini dress while appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers last year.
Of the upcoming season, which does not have a premiere date yet, Snow said in January that it's going to make people "angry."
“I think people are going to be very shocked. I think people are going to be angry. I think people are going to be surprised and excited. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing to say, but people should watch,” she said while chatting at the Golden Globes.
“Someone dies. I won’t tell you who,” she added.
Beyond that updates have been few, barring the announcement that Full House icon John Stamos will be joining the cast.

One of the ‘Best Children’s Books Ever’ Still Has Its Suitability Debated 62 Years After Publication
Books are banned for all sorts of wild reasons. One of those is when the content of the novel doesn’t seem to suit the age range, and that was one of the reasons given for banning The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, which was published on January 1, 1964.
Yet, despite individuals not believing that the story is suitable for children, it remains considered one of the “Best Children’s Books Ever,” according to Goodreads users, sitting in fifth place. It’s just behind the likes of Green Eggs and Ham, which was also banned for an absurd reason.
Why a Colorado Public Library Banned ‘The Giving Tree’For many people, the ban came down to the story not being suitable for the age range it was written for. There have been concerns about the “negative” message that the story of a tree giving to an overly selfish boy gives. There are also arguments that it creates an exploitative relationship with nature, especially considering the ages of those reading and the risk of misinterpreting the message.
For one Colorado public library in 1988, the reason for banning was slightly different. It was due to the perceived misogyny in the story. The tree is written as a female character, while the selfish child is a boy. The tree continues to give and give, with some people interpreting it was female self-erasure.
The sexist nature is also linked to Silverstein himself, who was an illustrator for PlayboyMagazine, leading to spending time at the Playboy Mansion. This led to a rather unusual view of the world and of women, and some worry that came across in his writing.
The Message Behind ‘The Giving Tree’Silverstein wrote the story as one about sacrifice and the selfish nature of people. As the boy continues to take from the tree, the tree starts to wither and struggle under the expectations. However, the boy doesn’t learn, and instead, keeps selling items that it takes from the tree for material gain.
In the end, the tree becomes just a stump, and even then, the boy uses it. He sits on the stump for rest, rather than reflecting on his own actions. One of the most prevalent messages is about human nature and how we take from nature without giving back and without understanding the consequences.
Yet, it is an important story to tell, and it’s why it remains one of the best children’s books ever written.
Ryan Lochte Looks Like a 'Completely Different Person' and the Internet Can't Stop Talking About It
Ryan Lochte has an exciting announcement to share with his fans, but it seems like they’re focused on something else.
Over the weekend, the Olympic swimmer shared a video on Instagram announcing that he’s officially joining Missouri State University as an assistant swimming and diving coach. And while the career update itself was major, much of the internet seemed focused on Lochte’s shocking appearance.
Sporting dark facial hair, a deeper tan, and a noticeably scruffier look than fans are used to seeing, the 41-year-old had commenters doing double takes almost immediately.
View this post on Instagram“Swimming gave me an incredible career, memories, things I will cherish forever, but over the last couple of years something so unexpected happened,” the Olympian said. “I might actually be more passionate about coaching than competing,” he continued, adding that he believes he “might even be a better swim coach” than he was a swimmer.
“Don’t worry, I will still say ‘JYEAH,’ I will still over-celebrate, and yes, there may be way too much energy on pool day,” Lochte quipped.
“Thought it was Kash Patel at first,” one user noted, while another shared, “Literally does not look like him.”
“Whoa. He looks like a completely different person,” a third commented.
“Took me a very long time to realize this was him talking about himself in the third person at first,” stated a fourth.
The new coaching gig comes after his estranged wife, Kayla Rae Reid, filed for divorce in March 2025 after seven years of marriage, with the pair publicly confirming their split a few months later.
The breakup later became more public after Lochte shared emotional details while announcing his upcoming memoir last December. In the post, he reflected on the aftermath of the 2016 Rio Olympics controversy and described feeling isolated and depressed during that period of his life.
Shortly afterward, Reid appeared to subtly respond on social media by reposting footage from their 2018 wedding vows, including emotional promises Lochte made about her support following the Rio scandal. “Just going to leave this here,” she captioned the video.
Lochte’s current girlfriend, Molly Gillihan (whom he debuted two months after his divorce), appears to be nothing but supportive of Lochte’s career shift. “I love you. I am beyond, beyond proud of you. This is what you were made to do!!! Congrats my lovie!” she wrote in comments on his announcement.
Netflix Lands Iconic Sports Show in Major Streaming Deal
Netflix is adding another major live event to its growing streaming lineup.
The company announced that the iconic Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will begin streaming live on Netflix in 2027, marking the first time the prestigious competition will air on the platform. The annual competition previously aired on the USA Network/CNBC from 1984 to 2016, then spent 10 years on Fox Sports and Nat Geo Wild.
The 151st Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will take place Jan. 30 through Feb. 2, 2027, with daytime breed judging and agility events held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City and evening group competitions and Best in Show hosted at Madison Square Garden.
Westminster also announced that famed Norwegian judge and breeder Espen Engh will serve as the 2027 Best in Show judge. The event will feature separate judges for all seven competition groups, including Ken Murray for the Hound Group, Patricia Sosa for the Non-Sporting Group and Clay Coady for the Terrier Group.
“Following the momentum of Westminster’s historic 150th event earlier this year, we are thrilled to begin an exciting new chapter with Netflix as our media partner,” Westminster Kennel Club president Dr. Donald Sturz said in a statement.
Founded in 1877, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is America’s oldest organization dedicated to the sport of dogs and remains one of the country’s longest-running sporting events.
At the competition, dogs are judged against official breed standards, with winners advancing through seven groups before one competitor is ultimately crowned Best in Show.
Netflix executive Brandon Riegg said the event’s global popularity made it a natural fit for the streaming platform’s expanding live-programming strategy.
“As a proud dog owner myself, it's a real pleasure and honor to partner with the Westminster Kennel Club to air its 151st show live around the world on Netflix next year,” Riegg said.
The deal marks another major push into live programming for Netflix, which has increasingly expanded beyond scripted television into sports, comedy specials and live-event broadcasts.
Lainey Wilson and Devlin Hodges Are Married — See the Photos
Lainey Wilson and her fiancé, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, have officially tied the knot!
According to Vogue, the loving pair said their “I do’s” on Sunday, May 10, in an intimate ceremony alongside a cobblestone ledge at the foot of a waterfall at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tenn.
The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, 33, and the former NFL quarterback, 30, fell in love with the venue while driving on the “backroads in Tennessee.”
“[We] saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” Wilson told the publication. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”
The vision for the Wilson-Hodges wedding ceremony and reception was brought to life with the help of Hugh Howser and Kate Steele with H Three Events. Entertainment included a 12-piece jazz band called Rebirth, and the meal was a Cajun feast whipped up at Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up bar.
View this post on InstagramPhotos on Instagram shared jointly by the couple and the outlet show Wilson donning a stunning, floor-length custom-made Oscar de La Renta gown featuring Japanese cherry blossoms. The look is especially unique since Wilson is known for sporting her signature bell-bottoms. Her dress popped against Hodge’s dapper bespoke suit by D. Lacquaniti.
Wilson and Hodges announced their engagement in Feb. 2025 on Instagram, with photos of their proposal and a caption reading: “4x4xU forever.” At the time, Hodges proposed to his now beautiful bride in Franklin, Tenn., on the doorstep of the late George Jones’s renowned estate.
Before getting hitched, Wilson and Hodges dated for four years after meeting in 2021 on a blind date.
“I have never seen Duck smile as big as he did then,” Wilson says of the couple’s wedding day. “It made me feel giddy about turning the page into this next chapter of marriage. We were both anxious to say ‘I do!’”
Congrats to the happy couple!
Mountain Dew White Out Is Back—and It's More Exclusive Than Ever
Mountain Dew White Out is officially returning for summer 2026, the brand confirmed.
Months after rumors began swirling about the return of the fan-favorite soda flavor, the PepsiCo brand revealed it would be launching a special American Dew to celebrate its "Tennessee roots and nearly 80 years of bold, unapologetic American taste." Coincidentally, the campaign also coincides with the 250th anniversary of Independence Day, and some had initially believed American Dew would mark the long-awaited comeback of White Out. Obviously, that wasn't the case, but it doesn't really matter now because Parade can finally confirm that White Out is coming back this season, just maybe not how fans expected.
While it's not unheard of for flavors to be exclusive to retailers (like Mountain Dew Star Spangled Splash and Baja Blast Midnight), Mountain Dew is taking a different approach with the return of this popular soft drink flavor, releasing it only as part of a patriotic variety pack heading out this month.
Mountain Dew White Out Returns as Part of Its Limited-Edition America Variety PackMountain Dew White Out first launched in stores over a decade ago, debuting as part of a limited-time promotion in 2010. The "smooth citrus" soda remained available until it was phased out in 2023. Now, three years later, it's coming back as part of Mountain Dew's America Variety Pack.

The memorable soft drink will join Mountain Dew Code Red (cherry-flavored) and Mountain Dew Voltage (blue raspberry), forming a festive red, white, and blue drink trio perfect for sipping on during upcoming FIFA World Cup watch parties, summer barbecues, and historic America250 celebrations.
From what Parade is told, the America Variety Pack will feature six 12-ounce cans of each flavor (18 total) and be available at retailers nationwide for an average MSRP of $10.47 beginning on Monday, May 18—but only for a limited time this summer.

Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen Separate After 18 Years of Marriage
Jason Biggsand Jenny Mollen's 18-year marriage has come to an end, the couple revealed Thursday.
A rep for the pair confirmed the split to multiple outlets, including People, expressing that the two have separated but remain on "good terms" and plan to co-parent their two sons, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8. Despite the split, the couple reportedly spent Biggs' 48th birthday together as a family, just two days before the announcement.
The pair met on the set of the raunchy R-rated comedy My Best Friend's Girl in 2007. Biggs proposed just six months later, and they eloped in April 2008. Biggs and Mollen have joked about how they got married in a FedEx-Kinkos parking lot in Calabasas, California, while wearing pajamas. Later, they had a formal wedding in Napa Valley before welcoming two sons.
View this post on InstagramOver the years, Biggs and Mollen have been open about their marriage and what it takes to make it work, as she jokingly stated that the secret to their longevity has been "a lot of therapy." She doubled down, saying that she and Biggs "spent thousands of dollars in therapy so you don't have to," while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
"We eloped after only knowing each other for nine months," Mollen said of her and Biggs' 2008 nuptials in that same interview. "We really didn't know each other. Let's be honest, it was just kind of luck."
The news came as a surprise to many who followed the longtime couple. Biggs, who has been open about his sobriety journey since 2017, previously credited Mollen for standing by him during his struggles with alcoholism, telling US Weekly in 2019 that their relationship has been "better than it's ever been." As recently as April 2025, Mollen shared an Instagram post to celebrate 17 years of marriage to the American Pie star.
Kylie Jenner Admits Why She Was 'Freaking Out' Before Telling Parents About Teen Pregnancy
When Kylie Jenner announced her first pregnancy eight years ago, it sent shockwaves among surprised fans. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star unexpectedly shared the news with a sweet video titled "To Our Daughter," posted to YouTube and Instagram on Feb. 4, 2018. Jenner had opted to keep the entire pregnancy out of the public eye, giving birth to her eldest child four days before the announcement.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder was 19 when she was pregnant with daughter, Stormi, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott. Recalling the moment she had to tell her parents that she was going to become a mom as a teenager, Jenner admits that she was "really scared" of their reaction.
"I was 19 when I got pregnant," she told Jake Shane during an interview on the Therapuss podcast. "I was freaking out. Yeah, I was freaking out. I was really scared to tell my parents."
Jenner explained that there was something inside of her that knew she "wanted to do this" and that she had to "make a decision" for herself.
"What do I really want? What can I handle? And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice I'm going to make," she continued.
When she broke the news to her parents, Kris Jenner and Caitlin Jenner, neither was angry with their youngest daughter.
In 2022, the makeup mogul welcomed her second child, son Aire, whom she also shares with Scott. While she decided to announce her pregnancy with Aire to the public, she explained that the secret was an emotional one to keep the first time around.
"I really didn't leave the house. I felt like, at the time, you know, reflecting back to it, I felt like I was protecting myself. And I was, in a way," she noted.
After she revealed the news, she "sobbed for three hours because it felt like so much weight on my shoulders."
"[The pregnancy was] just a big thing that I was hiding from the world. And I was worried about everyone's reactions," Jenner recalled. "It was just so emotional. And I'm like, 'Maybe next time I wouldn't do that.'"

Best-Selling Author’s Heartbreaking Memoir With Movie Deal Tops All Major Bestseller Lists
Belle Burden’s Strangers, a heartbreaking memoir about the dissolution of her 20-year marriage, is now a smash-hit bestseller, topping all five major bestseller lists, according to Book Riot.
Released on Jan. 13, the deeply personal story shares the moment Burden learned her husband was having an affair, shattering the “happy marriage” ideal surrounding her life in Martha’s Vineyard, and the fallout that led to her finding her voice and strength.
View this post on Instagram“I thought I was very happily married. I was very much in love with my husband,” Burden told NPR in April, after sharing in painstaking detail the moment she learned of her husband’s betrayal.
“This happened during the second week of COVID lockdown,” she said. “We were at our house in Martha's Vineyard, and my husband and I were having a pretty cozy time there. He was chopping wood and cooking dinner. Our two daughters were there with us. And then one night, I got a phone call. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. And I played the message, and it was a man saying, ‘I'm sorry to tell you this, but your husband is having an affair with my wife.’”
Shocked, Burden then confronted her husband who was nonchalant at first, until the next day when he packed his bags, asked for a divorce, and became someone she didn’t recognize.
Years later, Burden has risen from the wreckage a stronger woman who has found her voice. The success of her debut, published by Penguin Random House’s The Dial Press, probably helps ease the sting a bit.
“This book absolutely hooked me. I tore through it in a little over a day,” NPR shared.
Now in its ninth printing, the book is being adapted for the small screen, with Netflix and Gwyneth Paltrow attached. The 53-year-old actress, who shares Burden’s kind expression, plans to both star and executive produce the feature, Deadline reported.
Stacey Sher (Heretic) is set to produce, with Heidi Schreck (Billions) adapting the script. We will definitely be keeping an eye out for this one to drop.

The TV personality also donned the blazer dress during that morning's broadcast and shared her look in a separate post.
"Trying to bring the sunshine while talking weather headlines," she captioned the photo that was paired with a clip of her doing her news segment.

Who Is Ice-T's Wife, Coco Austin? We Did Some 'Detective Work'
At the end of Season 22 of Law & Order SVU, NYPD Sergeant Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice-T) and his former partner and fiancé, Sgt. Phoebe Baker called off their wedding, deciding they were better off as friends. It would've been the second marriage for Fin, who shared a son, Ken, with ex-wife Teresa Randall.
Offscreen, Ice-T isn't calling anything off. He and his wife, Coco Austin, tied the knot more than two decades ago. Though some celebs keep their love lives largely out of the spotlight, Ice-T and Austin—a model and TV personality who has more Instagram followers than her husband (2.9 million to his 1.5 million)—do not. Here's what we know about their marriage.

Nicole Natalie Marrow (née Austin), nicknamed Coco, started her career as a model, making her big break when she landed the cover of Sports Illustrated—her first-ever cover!—in 1997. But she's also a TV personality, dancer and actress.
Her resumé includes credits in Southwest Babes (2001), Desert Rose (2002) and The Dirty Monks (2004); and she replaced Holly Madison (former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner) as Bo Peep in the Las Vegas burlesque review Peepshow, a role she held from December 2012 to September 2013.
But Coco is perhaps best known for teaming up with her husband to star in a reality-TV show about their lives, Ice Loves Coco, which aired for three seasons from 2011–2014 on E!

Coco was a model on the set, and the producer friend thought she could cheer Ice-T up.
His first words? "Would you ever consider dating a gangster rapper?"
Coco didn't know what that even meant, really, but she went on to date and marry Ice-T anyway.
View this post on InstagramIn a 2022 Instagram post on Valentine's Day, Ice-T revealed the producer was Rickey Ricardo "Rolls Royce Rick" and posted a snap of the fateful meeting.

1979 Classic Live Album, Ranked Among 'Greatest of All Time,' Hid a Major Secret For 45 Years
Cheap Trick at Budokan is not only considered one of the best live albums ever released, it broke the band in America.
Prior to the release of the album in 1979, Cheap Trick was a Chicago quartet that was having trouble gaining traction in America, though they were big in Japan. That was until At Budokan began receiving airplay in U.S. after it was initially released in Japan in 1978. After 30,000 copies of the album sold in the U.S. as Japanese imports, Cheap Trick’s American label, Epic, decided to issue the album in the U.S.
As a result, the live version of “I Want You to Want Me” became a big hit, reaching No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The studio version of the song, included on the band’s second album, 1977’s In Color, failed to chart. The band’s live cover of Fats Domino’s “Ain’t That a Shame” also broke into the top 40 of the Hot 100, with At Budokan going on to sell more than 5 million copies worldwide, paving the way for Cheap Trick’s long and illustrious career.
Still, there’s one thing about Cheap Trick at Budokan that doesn’t ring true and wasn’t revealed until decades after the album’s release.
It wasn’t recorded at Budokan.
The Real Story Behind 'Cheap Trick at Budokan'Months before his death on May 11, 2026, at the age of 80, producer Jack Douglas revealed the story behind the album when he appeared as a guest on The Magnificent Otherspodcast with host, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan.
“So Budokan's not Budokan,” Douglas revealed. “It's Osaka.”
Despite the album’s title, a quick glance of the liner notes of the original album say only it was “recorded in Japan, April 1978.” Douglas and mixing engineer Jay Messina were asked to prepare the recordings from Nippon Budokan for release but found it impossible.
“They sent me the tapes, and Jay and I, we listened to everything. Budokan sounded terrible,” Douglas revealed. “It was just so poorly recorded. I don't know, like the mics were off, they were pointed the wrong direction, there was a little bit of drums, very little, not much, no bass drum.”
In order to put together a proper live album, Douglas turned to recordings from another show in Japan. “We went to Osaka, it was better. It was the best performance,” he explained.
Cheap Trick at Budokan is still considered a classic. The album was ranked No. 13 on Rolling Stone’s 2015 list of the “50 Greatest Lives Albums of All Time” and has been re-released on special anniversary reissues, including a 30th anniversary set, with a DVD, that required additional magic from Douglas. “[Cheap Trick guitarist] Rick [Nielsen] calls me up,” Douglas told Corgan. “He goes, ‘We have the film from Budokan. We're going to do a 5.1 [mix]. I want you guys to mix a 5.1 version of it. And I said, ‘You have the film from Budokan?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, just use like kind of the same mix maybe as…’ I said, ‘But that mix is Osaka, remember?’”
“So now Jay and I go to work on this thing, and thank God for Pro Tools, there was a cut-and-paste job," Douglas explained. "You would not believe because when there was a close-up on Rick or his hands or Robin [Zander] singing, that was Budokan. When I was a wide shot, it was Osaka. And it was just... It was a labor of love. I loved doing it.”

This Lightweight Performance Layer Might Be the Most Underrated Running Essential Right Now
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Running has become a major part of my weekly routine. There's something about getting outside early in the morning or finding time in the evening to clear my head through movement that genuinely resets everything mentally for me. As someone who runs consistently throughout the week, I've realized quickly that having the right gear matters way more than people think. One uncomfortable shirt, heavy fabric or lack of breathability can completely throw off a run and make every mile feel longer than it should.
The older I get, the more I pay attention to performance apparel that actually works with my body instead of against it. When you're moving routinely every week, comfort is no longer optional. Lightweight materials, stretch, airflow and moisture-wicking technology become essentials rather than luxuries. Especially during warmer Georgia days, where humidity alone can drain your energy fast, the difference between average workout gear and quality running apparel becomes immediately noticeable.
Municipal Run Core LS Shirt, $74 at MunicipalMUNICIPAL
Shop It!That's honestly why the Run Core LS Shirt from Municipal caught my attention. At $74, this feels like one of those pieces designed for people who genuinely stay active throughout the week. The overall aesthetic is clean and athletic without looking overly technical, which makes it easy to wear before, during and even after a run.
What immediately stands out to me is the TurboDry moisture-wicking technology. Since I run regularly, sweat management is one of the most important factors I look for in performance clothing. Nobody wants that heavy, soaked feeling halfway through a workout where your shirt starts clinging to your body. This top is designed to rapidly move moisture away from the skin, helping keep runs feeling lighter and more comfortable even during intense sessions.

The lightweight 100GSM polyester construction, combined with four-way mechanical stretch, also makes a major difference. When I'm running, I need gear that moves naturally with me, not feeling stiff or restrictive. The flexibility here feels intentional. Whether it's shorter neighborhood runs, treadmill sessions or longer cardio days, breathable apparel becomes critical for maintaining comfort and rhythm.
I also appreciate how balanced the design feels overall. Some athletic brands overload their pieces with loud graphics or excessive branding, but this keeps things simple in the best way. The custom Run Core Municipal graphics on the sleeve and front hem add enough personality while still maintaining a clean performance look. It feels premium without trying too hard.
Another underrated feature for runners is the 1.5-inch drop-tail coverage. That extra length helps during movement and gives the shirt a better fit overall while running. Small details like that matter when you're active multiple times throughout the week, as they directly affect comfort during motion.
As someone who genuinely enjoys running and incorporates it into my weekly lifestyle, I've learned that proper gear can either elevate your experience or completely ruin it. Good running apparel should almost disappear while you wear it. You should feel focused on your pace, breathing and movement. Not distracted by discomfort or overheating. The Run Core LS Shirt feels built around that exact mindset. Lightweight performance, breathability and comfort for runners who consistently put miles in throughout the week.

Mel Robbins Wants You to Upload Your Financial Documents to AI— Here's Why That's a Terrible Idea
Mel Robbins’ advice isn’t always wise to take. Recently, the best-selling author and podcast host told women to upload their financial information to AI, a move that cybersecurity experts say isn’t worth the risk.

The IG PostIn the now viral Instagram post, Robbins shows a paper copy of a Harvard study that states women are 40% less likely to adopt AI. She warns that many women aren’t keeping pace with the controversial technology and advocates using two prompts to help them take control of their finances.
“You have to lean in,” Robbins says enthusiastically as she talks to women, especially women over the age of 55. She notes a comment from a woman named Patricia who says AI makes her uneasy, but she doesn’t want to get left behind.
View this post on Instagram Drawbacks of AIWhile AI can automate workflows and make organization easier, it has significant drawbacks that may leave you open to fraud and identity theft.
AI Chatbots are not end-to-end encrypted, and they use the data you input to continue to train their AI models. If you upload your bank statements and credit card information, as Robbins suggested, then you’re showing your very personal and private banking information to a system that can be viewed by actual humans.

BacklashMany commenters were horrified by Robbins’ advice. The comments section of the May 1st post contains significant backlash, with many questioning Robbins’ advice. One commenter, a New York Times best-selling author and digital anthropologist with the IG handle foushy, even pointed out that it violates EU privacy rules.
The Problems With AIIn addition to the privacy issues, AI isn’t always right. AI is trained by scouring the internet and analyzing billions and trillions of data points. Data points can include your uncle’s Facebook post, countless Reddit threads, and comments across other social media platforms. All of this information is subjective and unverified, leaving AI chatbots with potentially skewed perspectives.
AI takes the entirety of published human thought, including legally protected work, and creates an amalgamation to give you answers to the prompts you’re uploading. In theory, it’s an amazing tool for analyzing our collective knowledge and distilling it into personalized answers.
In reality, AI can be very damaging to your financial and emotional health. It’s also extremely damaging to the environment, contributing to water shortages and rising energy costs for everyday consumers nationwide.
If you do want to use AI to help with your finances, experts suggest redacting ALL identifying information, including account numbers, Social Security numbers, and personal data that could lead to fraud or identity theft. Robbins noted in the post's comments that she should have been more careful with the information she provided.
