When the Beach Boys took the stage in Cincinnati this past Saturday night for their first show in months, fans were left concerned for singer-songwriter Mike Love, 85, due to his fragile-looking appearance and worrisome actions.

Before the concert started, John Stamos, Full House actor and musician who has played with the Beach Boys for years, popped out onstage to tell the crowd (via Rolling Stone), “[Mike] is here tonight. He’s been going through some health issues. He’s had to cancel some shows. But he would not miss tonight. We sort of said ‘stay home,’ but he was like, ‘No, I’m going to Cincinnati.’ … It’s what he loves the most. He loves the audience. He loves the music. He knows how important it is to all of you. We’re all here to support him and give him as much love as we can. So ladies and gentlemen, please welcome [the] Beach Boys.”

Rolling Stone noted that “Stamos then walked an alarmingly frail Love onto the stage and sat him in a chair, where he remained for the duration of the night.” Although Love did perform a few songs, band members eventually took over lead vocals, and although the legendary music industry star “didn’t say much, [he] did muster ‘thank you for showing up’ after the opening song.”

In response to Love’s appearance and apparent health issues — the exact nature of which hasn’t been disclosed to the public — his former bandmate and the only other surviving member of the original Beach Boys lineup, Al Jardine, 84, has spoken out about the situation.

“It’s shocking and I was really depressed,” Jardine told Rolling Stone. “I had to really shake myself out of it just to get on stage. Just the optics of it were just awful and I’m speechless.”

Jardine added that he “would hope” that Love stops playing shows at the moment, saying, “That’s just not right, that I can see. Obviously, he’s a total pro. He wants to be on stage, but he just doesn’t know how not to do it. He doesn’t know what else to do, so I think he’s trapped.”

Elvis Presley’s birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi, still stands today as part of a 15-acre park, more than 90 years after his father lost the home over an unpaid $180 loan. 

Vernon Presley borrowed the money in 1934 to buy materials for the small, two-room house where Elvis was born on Jan. 8, 1935. Unable to repay the loan, Vernon lost the property when Elvis was about three years old, per Elvis.

The modest house is now the center of the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum, a historic site that draws fans from around the world. Visitors can see the home, explore a museum filled with Elvis memorabilia and visit the childhood church that helped shape his love of music.

Before Elvis became known as the King of Rock and Roll, he lived with his parents in a small home built with borrowed money during a difficult time for American families.

Elvis Presley’s Two-Room Birthplace in Tupelo

Vernon Presley borrowed $180 in 1934 to build the family’s home in East Tupelo, Mississippi. His father, Jessie Presley, and brother, Vester Presley, helped him construct the small wooden house.

The home was a simple shotgun house, a narrow building with rooms arranged one behind the other. It had just two rooms, with a bedroom and living area at the front and a kitchen at the back. Each room had a single light bulb.

On Jan. 8, 1935, Gladys Presley gave birth to twin boys inside the house. Elvis Aaron Presley survived, while his identical twin brother, Jessie Garon Presley, was stillborn.

The family lived in the house for about three years. During that time, Vernon and Gladys worked to support their household. According to the LA Times, Gladys worked in a garment factory, while Vernon drove trucks and took other jobs when he could find them.

Their financial struggles made it difficult to keep the home. Per Medium, Vernon had borrowed the $180 from Orville Bean, a landowner for whom he worked as a sharecropper. When Vernon could not make the loan payments, the house was repossessed.

The loss forced the Presley family to leave the home where Elvis had spent his earliest years. They continued living in different places around Tupelo before moving to Memphis, Tennessee, in November 1948, when Elvis was 13.

That move marked a major change in the family’s life. Memphis later became the city where Elvis began his recording career, but his story started in the small Mississippi home his father built with help from relatives.

The house still stands in its original location in Tupelo and serves as the centerpiece of the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum. The site covers 15 acres and includes several attractions connected to the singer’s childhood.

More than 50,000 people reportedly visit the home each year. The wider park has drawn Elvis fans who want to learn about his early years and see where his life began.

The birthplace became open to the public as a tourist attraction on June 1, 1971. The Mississippi Department of Archives and History later designated it a state historical site on Jan. 8, 1978, which would have been Elvis’ 43rd birthday.

The house has been preserved to show visitors what a modest family home of that period could look like. Its furniture is not original, but the rooms contain items that help visitors picture daily life in the Presley household.

The bedroom and living area feature a bed, a fireplace and family photographs. The kitchen contains basic household items, including a wood stove and a wash tub. The home also had an outdoor toilet because indoor plumbing was not available.

The park includes Elvis’ childhood church, a museum, a chapel, an auditorium and statues that mark different parts of his life. The church, which was moved to the grounds, offers visitors a closer look at the religious setting that helped shape his early musical interests.

More than nine decades after Vernon Presley borrowed $180 to build the home, the little house remains standing. What began as a modest shelter for a young family has become a historic attraction that connects Elvis fans with the early years of the singer’s life.

It may only be October, but Christmas is already on the horizon. For anyone dreaming of waking up to a blanket of snow on December 25, a new look at historical weather data offers a glimpse at where a white Christmas is most likely.

The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center has a National White Christmas Map that shows the historical probability of having snow on the ground on Christmas Day across the United States.

The map uses climate data from 1981 through 2010 to reveal how the odds vary depending on where you live, but before you start planning a snowy holiday, there is one important detail to know. The map does not predict whether it will snow on Christmas 2026. Instead, it shows where snow has historically been most likely to stick around through Christmas morning.

Where Is a White Christmas Most Likely?

According to the map, the northern United States generally has the best chance of a white Christmas, with the Upper Midwest and Upper Northeast among the regions where snow on the ground is more common.

Parts of the Northwest and mountainous regions of the West also have favorable odds, thanks in part to their colder winter conditions and higher elevations.

The outlook is considerably different farther south. Southern states generally have a lower historical probability of snow covering the ground on Christmas morning, while Florida has among the lowest chances.

What Counts as a White Christmas?

The National Weather Service has a specific definition for a white Christmas. For its map, a location must have at least 1 inch of snow on the ground on Christmas morning to qualify.

That means the map isn’t measuring the likelihood of snowflakes falling on Dec. 25. A brief snowfall during Christmas Eve or Christmas Day would not necessarily count if less than an inch remained on the ground when Christmas morning arrived.

The historical data comes from climate records maintained by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, offering a long-term look at the conditions different parts of the country typically experience during the holiday. While the map can help identify areas where a white Christmas is more common, it cannot account for the weather conditions that will develop this particular December.

Lucian Piane, the music producer and former guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, shared a series of videos on Instagram in the days before his death at 46. The clips prompted concern among some followers, who urged him to seek help.

Now, his social media activity is drawing renewed attention following news of his death on Oct. 12.

What Did Lucian Piane Show in His Recent Instagram Videos?

On Aug. 7, Piane shared a hopeful update on Instagram, posting a photo of himself alongside the caption, “Sober over a year and getting back in the game.” He ended the post with a smiling face, a heart emoji, and a running-man emoji.

In the weeks that followed, Piane shared videos documenting his day-to-day public activities, including interactions with strangers and stops at various businesses.

Entertainment Weekly reported on one clip that appeared to show Piane attempting to brush his teeth while smoking and driving. At the same time, The U.S. Sun covered other videos in which he appeared to ramble and asked passersby for cigarettes or cigars.

In a video posted Oct. 11, Piane filmed himself sitting outside a liquor store wearing a winter cap. He showed viewers an empty plastic Coca-Cola bottle he said someone had given him and explained that he was waiting for a “good Samaritan” to light his cigarette. He also said he was dealing with foot fungus.

At several points in the video, Piane rolled his head from side to side, attributing the movements to tardive dyskinesia and denying being on methamphetamine. (Piane’s statements reflect what he said in the video; they do not independently establish a medical diagnosis or substance use.)

Piane then removed his hat and played with his dyed-black hair before mentioning that a police officer had arrived. During the ensuing conversation, he discussed his past offenses and pushed back against speculation about his behavior.

“Stop making up rumors about me,” he said, before asking viewers, “Do I look like I’m on drugs?”

The video continued as Piane spoke about going to visit a friend and walked between nearby businesses. At one point, he clarified that he was on probation, not parole. He later crossed the street to use a bathroom, with the walk-sign beep echoing in the background.

The videos offered glimpses of Piane’s activities in the days before his death and prompted some followers to worry about his well-being.

What Did Fans Say About Lucian Piane’s Videos?

Some followers expressed concern in the comments on Piane’s posts, urging him to seek help or medical attention. One commenter wrote, “Get help, Lucian.”

After news of Piane’s death emerged, some commenters returned to his posts to share memories and tributes.

“Lucian was my friend. It wasn’t always easy,” writer and former SiriusXM host Larry Flick wrote. “He was troubled, complicated, and filled with rage that he didn’t know how to manage. Like many, I tried to help until he made it impossible. Guilt right now is real. The way he left this life was tragic and brutal. But I pray rest and peace await him on the other side.”

“It feels like a long time ago, but really it wasn’t,” Instagram user @david17days wrote. “Lucian and I used to be quite close. Kind, funny, thoughtful, and, as everybody knows, extremely talented. I don’t really remember when things changed, but it happened fast, and everyone I know tried their best to help. To find understanding. To try to be kind in the face of his often reckless, hateful behavior.”

The commenter continued, “I regret there weren’t more opportunities not only to help, but for him to be able to receive it. I regret I didn’t have more of an understanding around severe mental illness and drug addiction and what happens when those two often insurmountable issues join hands. I regret that Lucian won’t be here to see the outpouring of love and admiration so many had for him and his work. Be kind ❤️”

Another commenter, @areyoualgore, remembered Piane’s musical contributions, writing, “This was such a talented kid. I first knew of him on the production of RuPaul’s Born Naked, probably one of my favorite albums … but I know now he produced most of seasons 1-8; he even produced CoverGirl … 🤯 mind-blowing talent there!”

What Happened to Lucian Piane?

Piane died on Oct. 12 at age 46. Authorities reported that he was struck by a vehicle in Glendale, California. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as blunt trauma and the manner as an accident. The driver reportedly remained at the scene.

The 11 remaining Dancing with the Stars couples took to the ballroom floor on Week 5 dancing the Salsa, Samba or Jazz to songs for “Super Bowl Night,” honoring the music, spectacle and unforgettable moments of the big game.

Co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, the ballroom welcomed back the 11 remaining celebrities and their professional partners for their fifth performances of the season. Joining the judges table was Monday Night Football broadcaster Joe Buck and, in honor of the theme, there was a special appearance by DWTS Season 3 champion Emmitt Smith and Donald Driver,  who danced in the opening number and halftime.

And then, the couple with the lowest combined judges’ scores and America’s votes was eliminated.

The highest score of the night was a tie with 36 points out of 40 earned by Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy for their Paso Doble, and Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagrach for their Salsa.

For Jenna and Val, Bruno said, “Incandescent. Brilliant from start to finish.” Carrie Ann kept with the football theme of the night, saying, “That was the first touchdown we’ve had tonight. You’re in the zone.” And Bruno agreed, saying, “That was a Super Bowl champion performance.”

For Ezra and Daniella, Carrie Ann said, “That was like a Masterclass in interpreting. It was uniquely yours.” Derek added, “You commanded that stage, Impressive.” And Bruno said, “It was a smoldering performance.”

Once again, the lowest scorer of the night was Guillermo and Witney, but they had much better scores than last week with Guillermo getting his first 6 from Carrie Ann. Their total score was 22 out of a possible 40. Derek said, “That was so entertaining, so fun.” Bruno told him, “This is how you do it. Plenty of movement. You gave us plenty to think about.” And Carrie Ann said, “You brought the joy back. You took the note.”

But this week, the popular vote couldn’t save him and Guillermo was eliminated.

Captain Sandy Yawn may have just dropped the biggest hint yet about whether Below Deck Mediterranean star Joe Bradley and Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard are dating.

“Definitely I think there’s truth to this,” Sandy dished to Page Six’s Reali-Tea via Instagram. “I felt the vibe on board and well, let’s just see what the season shows us.”

The captain’s comments add fuel to the romance rumors surrounding the Bravo stars, whose alleged connection has already sparked plenty of speculation among fans. While neither has confirmed a relationship, Sandy’s remarks suggest there may be more to the story than viewers initially thought.

Sandy also dished on the upcoming season of Below Deck Mediterranean, revealing that the much-anticipated Summer House crossover served as the first charter of Season 12.

“It doesn’t get any better than that. That’s a bar, and all the other charters that come behind it, have a bar to begin with,” she said.

She added, “And they were fantastic; it was wonderful!”

Joe Bradley and Lindsay Hubbard’s Dating Rumors Have Bravo Fans Talking

The speculation surrounding Joe and Lindsay intensified after a DeuxMoi tipster allegedly spotted the two filming together last week and claimed they kissed before Joe got into a black Suburban. The reported encounter fueled speculation that the pair could have been filming for Summer House spinoff In the City.

Their paths could certainly have crossed. Lindsay and her Summer House castmates recently filmed an appearance on Below Deck Mediterranean. If Joe returns for Season 12, the crossover could have provided an opportunity for the two Bravolebrities to connect.

The rumor also prompted a response from Lindsay after someone reportedly commented “pathetic” on DeuxMoi’s Instagram post. Appearing to address the criticism directly, she replied, “no one asked you,” before adding, “oh i didn’t realize you knew him personally? Also, knowing your friend group, not sure you should be commenting on MY life. But go off babe 😂.”

Bravo fans have been divided over the possibility of a romance, with some questioning whether the pairing would work and others eager to see the potential relationship unfold on camera.

Some predicted Lindsay would “chew him up and spit him out,” while another joked that Joe “can’t handle Mother Hubbard.” Others were already calling for cameras to capture the rumored romance.

Of course, Sandy’s comments aren’t confirmation that the two are dating. But with the captain saying she felt a vibe on board and encouraging viewers to see what the season reveals, fans may have another reason to tune in when Below Deck Mediterranean returns.

For now, the question remains: Is there a genuine connection between Joe and Lindsay, or is this simply another Bravo crossover that has fans talking?

If you’ve ever participated in a class, joined a book club, been on a sports team or engaged in basically any group activity in your entire life, you’re probably all too familiar with icebreakers.

An icebreaker is a question or prompt meant to “break the ice” with communication among a new group. It involves everybody going around the room and sharing their responses one at a time. In some cases, icebreakers can be effective and help group members bond right off the bat. But in other cases, they can make people feel uncomfortable, embarrassed and anxious—which is not a great way to unite a group of strangers.

That being said, are there certain prompts to spark camaraderie that work better than others? To learn more, we spoke with Dr. Naomi Torres-Mackie, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist offering individual, couples and group therapy in private practice in Brooklyn. She is also a Clinical Supervisor at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Chief Clinical Officer at The Mental Health Coalition.

This Popular Icebreaker Can Actually Make People More Uncomfortable

In Dr. Torres-Mackie’s opinion, a popular icebreaker that can make people feel “highly uncomfortable” is: “Describe yourself.”

“An entire life story is a lot to share, and adding the time limit is a recipe for a high-stress response,” she states. “A more specific question about someone’s life would do much better to create a sense of openness, authenticity and connection—what we want from icebreakers.”

2. “Where do you want to be in five years?”

“Often, a person’s hopes and dreams are kept private, and an icebreaker situation is not the time or place to ask this kind of question,” says Dr. Torres-Mackie.

Asking individuals where they see themselves in five years “will likely provide more awkwardness than connection.”

“This icebreaker is counterproductive because, with a group of new people, there’s not enough trust for it yet,” explains Dr. Torres-Mackie. “Sharing an embarrassing story doesn’t tell others much, besides what gives you shame—and that is not something we’re programmed to share with others until there is a deep sense of trust and safety in the relationship. Travis Kelce is facing backlash after he “liked” Shane Gillis‘ controversial Saturday Night Live monologue.

During the 38-year-old comedian’s October 10 appearance on the sketch comedy show, he joked about how women dress while working out.

“I haven’t been to the gym in so long, I didn’t realize women just dressed like whores now,” he said to an audience of mixed approval. “Look, I’m sorry, there’s no other way to describe… Have you seen it? I’ve seen it.”

He continued, “The shorts. Have you seen the shorts? Those neon…they’re, like, artificial bait colored. And the wrinkles, the wrinkles go, like, around the cheeks and all combined at the butthole… And don’t look. You’re not allowed to look. For real, don’t look ’cause they are filming. I’m in the background of, like, 10 TikToks right now.”

Gillis has been scrutinized for his comments, with many calling them misogynistic. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end didn’t seem to mind the comments; social media sleuths found that he liked the video on Instagram, per Page Six.

Many celebrities have spoken out against Gillis’ comments. Dan Levy posted a video on Instagram sharing his thoughts on the monologue.

“Women wearing short shorts to the gym does not make them whores,” he said. “It makes the men calling them whores misogynists, there’s a difference there… By the way, I’ve seen more men’s nipples at the gym that I’ve ever seen women showing their bodies off.”

While former SNL cast member Ego Nwodim shared an Instagram story of herself in the gym with the caption, “Whore reporting for duty.”

This was Gillis’ third time hosting Saturday Night Live.

The 2020s have seemed like the decade of reboots and revivals, and now, a fan-favorite (and rather unexpected) series is joining that ever-growing list. Namely, Lena Dunham’s smash-hit coming-of-age show Girls is officially making a comeback—here are the details we know so far.

Per Variety, HBO is bringing Girls back in a five-episode limited revival. The new episodes will see the return of all four leading ladies: Dunham as protagonist Hannah Horvath, Allison Williams as Marnie Michaels, Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna Shapiro and Jemima Kirke as Jessa Johansson. Andrew Rannells will also be returning as Elijah Krantz.

Dunham will be continuing in her role as executive producer in addition to the star of the show, and Judd Apatow will likewise be returning as an executive producer on this new limited run of the series.

If you’re noticing one major name missing on this list, that’s no mistake; currently, it’s not known whether Adam Driver will be returning as Adam Sackler, Hannah’s somewhat chaotic on-again-off-again boyfriend. Since Girls concluded, Driver has gone on to have a massive career, appearing in all three Star Wars sequel trilogy movies as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, amid many other projects, and now, he’s confirmed to be joining the MCU as the X-Men’s Mister Sinister. One can only speculate about whether this will prevent his Girls return.

In terms of story details, very little has been shared thus far, although production is expected to begin next year. Simply based on the amount of time that has passed (about a decade since the series concluded), it seems safe to assume that this five-episode return will include a jump forward in time and reveal what the titular girls, now fully grown women, have gotten up to.

Along with the news came a teaser from Dunham and her costars, shared on the HBO Max Instagram account.

Former GMA3 co-anchors, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, have officially married. The news comes nearly four years after their exit from the series, which was fueled by their workplace romance drama.

According to PEOPLE, the two married in a private ceremony in Washington County on Sept. 19. The publication saw the registered marriage license, which had the details. While they registered the license on Oct. 13, they applied for it the day before their secret ceremony. 

It’s almost been a year since the two announced their engagement. During the Oct. 14, 2025 episode of their “Amy & T.J” podcast, the two shared that they were engaged and had been “for just about a month now.”

Holmes shared that he wanted them to be the ones to share the news, as they’d learned their lessons from people sharing their big news in the past. That comment would have been connected to when their relationship came out, when they were spotted holding hands in a car during a vacation in upstate New York in November 2022.

At the time of the rumors of their relationship, they were married to other people. Robach was married to Andrew Shue, and Holmes was married to Marilee Fiebig, although both of those marriages ended in divorce shortly after the rumors, with reps denying any overlap in their relationships.

It did lead to an end to their positions at GMA3, though. By December 2022, the pair were pulled from the show, pending an internal review by ABC News into their relationship. By January 2023, ABC News made it clear that they wouldn’t return, and later that year, they released their joint podcast. They remain steadfast in their love, making it clear that it has been worth the fallout in their careers.

Back in May 2026, the two shared that they knew when they were going to marry and had some elements planned out. They refused to share the details with anybody, so the news of their marriage comes as a surprise. While on the “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast,” they shared that they had a way that they wanted to marry that “would be very special” to them. They still haven’t spoken about that, even a month after the ceremony secretly took place. It’s possible they’re saving it for their own podcast.
