Country Star Suffers Sudden Onstage Fall During Opening Night of Tour
Jordan Davis took a tumble during a recent concert overseas. The country music superstar, 37, kicked off his Ain’t Enough Road European Tour over the weekend.
On Friday, Feb. 20, while performing at the first stop of the trek at SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Davis lost his footing in the middle of his show and rolled himself right out of the fall like a pro.
He Is OKThankfully, Davis appears to be just fine. In fact, he took to social media to highlight the incident, one that he says he definitely could’ve done without.
View this post on Instagram“Other than this video, last night in Belfast was awesome,” he captioned the clip on Instagram, showing him taking the spill in front of thousands of fans.
Country artists and fans alike quickly jumped into the comments section to express their condolences and crack a few jokes. Fellow singer/songwriter Ernest wrote, “Thoughts and prayers.”
“Your Place” singer Ashley Cooke added, “Stumblin Davis,” to which Davis responded with a string of laughing emojis.
The Moment Happened During a Cover SongAccording to one fan video on TikTok, Davis was in the middle of a cover of The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” when the spill happened. He wasn’t singing at the time. It appeared his opener, rising artist Solon Holt, was behind the microphone.
@clarissamurphy0country singers just can't stop falling on love with Belfast ain't that right @jordandavis 🙈 #jordandavis #belfast #ssearena
♬ original sound - Clarissa MurphyThe clip shows Davis, dressed in a buttoned-down shirt and casual blue jeans, appearing to excitedly pump his fist in the air behind Holt before taking his unexpected onstage dive. He may have lost his balance and fallen forward, but he did manage to catch himself with his arms, rolling through the fall and popping back up moments later.
“That invisible rug got ya,” one person joked in the TikTok comments section. “It’s OK. It happens to the best of us.”
“Someone help him up,” another fan chimed in.
Davis still has a long road ahead before his UK and European tour wraps, so he’ll likely be staying on his toes and keeping an eye on the stage floor. The Ain’t Enough Road European Tour marks Davis’ biggest international run yet. Along with Holt, country artist Avery Anna is serving as a special guest.
A handful of shows on the trek have already sold out, but Davis will head to Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and he has a major London date at OVO Arena. Later this year, he will make his way to Australia and New Zealand with special guests Tucker Wetmore, Vincent Mason, and Rachel Fahim.

Eva Longoria and Kim Kardashian's New Movie Welcomes Grammy-Winning Star Power
From Desperate Housewives to directing for Netflix, Eva Longoria is keeping ever busy in Hollywood these days — with a new movie in the works called The Fifth Wheel.
The upcoming comedy already has a solid cast confirmed, including Nikki Glaser and Brenda Song, and TMZ is now reporting that a Grammy-winning rapper has joined the ensemble.
The tabloid news outlet reported on Saturday, Feb. 21 that 50 Cent has been on set the past two days filming for The Fifth Wheel. The TV mogul, 50, reportedly shot multiple scenes alongside Kim Kardashian and other big names inside the popular nightclub Exchange LA in downtown Los Angeles.
The Fifth Wheel also made headlines this month after TMZ revealedBrooks Nader also joined Longoria's directorial project. Sources say there were no shortcuts and that Nader, 29, still came in and read for the role like any other actress. She auditioned, impressed and landed the part.
Earlier this week, Longoria, 50, posted a photo of herself with professional video equipment, presumably from the set of The Fifth Wheel. Fans have since flooded her post's comments section with seemingly endless messages of congratulatory Emojis.
View this post on InstagramLast fall, Longoria channeled starlets of yesteryear on the red carpet of the Paris Global Gift Gala. As the Global Gift Foundation’s Honor Ambassador, she was all smiles while posing for the Nov. 8, 2025, event in France. The Devious Maids star opted to wear a white floor-length dress with beading. She accessorized the elegant look with dangling statement earrings, matching bracelets, rings, and a pair of silver heels.
Longoria shared several images from the Paris Global Gift Gala in a Nov. 11 Instagram upload. See below.

NFL Pro Rondale Moore's 'Heartbreaking' Final Instagram Post Devastates Fans
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore was found dead at age 25 of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound in New Albany, Indiana, the The Floyd County coroner confirmed to New York Times on Feb. 21. Now, fans believe the NFL pro's "heartbreaking" final Instagram post three days before his death hinted that he was struggling with his mental health. The official cause of death is still under investigation.

Moore shared what appeared to be a normal photo dump on Feb. 18, showing him hanging out with friends, chilling by a beautiful pool, shopping, working out, and enjoying a sunny day by the beach. One photo shows him with a tote bag that says "work in progress" on the side. However, it is the last photo in the carousel that raised concern among fans.
The final slide shows a screenshot of lyrics from rapper EST Gee's 2024 song "Go" that seem especially poignant following Moore's tragic death: "Stitched up the last eight months, but it changed nothin', I don't feel no better."

— Minnesota Vikings (@Vikings) February 22, 2026"Heartbreaking... Check on your people—mental health matters. RIP #25," wrote one fan on X in response to the post, while another added, "This is heartbreaking."
Also featured in the carousel were photos by Moore's friend and creative collaborator JayFlickz, who he tagged in the post. JayFlickz took to his own Instagram Stories with a heartbreaking message after learning of Moore's death. "U hurt me bro [heartbreak emoji href="https://parade.com/living/emoji-meanings"] not like this," he captioned a photo with his friend.
Moore's former teammate, Hollywood Brown, was also stunned by the news. "Bro ain’t no way brotha you just messaged me few hours ago," he wrote with a crying amoji, adding in a separate post, "You wasn’t alone bro.. I told you I know how you feel."
The league honored the player, writing, "The NFL is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Rondale Moore. Our thoughts are with Rondale’s family, friends and teammates during this difficult time."
Wedding Rumors Are Bringing Taylor Swift's Conor Kennedy Era Back Into the Conversation
Between “Opalite” dominating headlines, Brit Awards buzz, and a sixth consecutive crown as the world's best-selling artist, Taylor Swift is everywhere right now — and apparently, so is her past.
On February 21, E! News published a deep dive into everything the pop icon has said and sung about marriage as she and fiancé Travis Kelce plan their wedding. Tucked inside was a detail that caught the internet's attention: a quote from Swift's December 2012 Cosmopolitan cover story — headlined "Crazy for a Kennedy" — in which a 23-year-old Taylor talked about not wanting to be the kind of bride with a wedding scrapbook ready for “Mr. Right.”
That issue leaned into the Kennedy fairytale narrative surrounding Swift at the time, noting her fascination with the family’s history and that matriarch Ethel Kennedy once suggested her grandson Conor Kennedy, who was 18 at the time, would be “lucky to marry her.” (Swift and Conor were first linked in summer 2012.)
"He's so tall and handsome as hell..."
Harry Styles is 5'11''
Conor Kennedy is 6'4'' pic.twitter.com/GjqxV3XNqc
It’s a small reference, but it lands at a moment when wedding speculation around Swift, now 36, and Kelce, also 36, is already picking up steam. In December, Page Six reported, citing sources, that the couple was eyeing Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, for a possible June 13, 2026 ceremony.
In more recent coverage, CT Insider revealed an email exchange with the resort addressing the rumors — but the statement didn’t offer any real confirmation. “Ocean House prides itself on being rooted in client confidentiality,” a spokesperson said. "When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family."
View this post on InstagramWhile Swift and Kelce have kept their lips sealed and no official confirmation has been made, the Rhode Island setting has stirred a wave of nostalgia. Ocean House sits a little over two hours from the Cape Cod home Swift bought near the Kennedy compound during her brief romance with Conor. The former pair split in October 2012, and the Grammy-winning singer sold the house just months later in 2013.
View this post on InstagramWhat makes the moment even more interesting is that Conor is preparing for his own wedding, too. As reported by People, the 31-year-old attorney proposed to Brazilian singer and actress Giulia Be in August 2024, announcing the happy news in a joint Instagram post captioned "easiest yes of all time."
View this post on InstagramLast June, Vogue Brasil offered a glimpse into the couple’s plans, with Giulia revealing in an Instagram video that she envisions herself as a “classic bride” and that the wedding is set for June 2026 in Rio de Janeiro.
Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce announced their own engagement on August 26, 2025.
Minnesota Vikings Wide Receiver Rondale Moore Dead at 25
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore has died at the age of 25 in New Albany, Indiana. The athlete's death was caused by a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said on Feb. 21. The Floyd County coroner confirmed Moore’s death to the New York Times.

The athlete, who played for the Arizona Cardinals from 2021 to 2023 and the Atlanta Falcons in 2024 before joining the Vikings in March 2025 as a free agent, suffered a season-ending knee injury during the 2025 preseason and did not play in a regular-season game for them before his death.
Moore began his football career at Trinity High School in Indiana before committing to Purdue where he stood out on the Boilermakers during his freshman year in 2018. That year, Moore led the Big Ten in receiving with 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns while also contributing as a return specialist, two feats that earned him consensus All-American honors and the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award.
Moore joined the NFL when he was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. Though he had a promising start, he was plagued by injuries, including missed time with the Cardinals and a season lost to a knee injury with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024.
In 2025, Moore signed with the Vikings with hopes of reigniting his NFL journey, but yet another knee injury in the preseason sidelined him for the 2025-2026 season. The circumstances of Moore’s death are still being investigated.
Tributes quickly began pouring in as former coaches, teammates and fans learned of Moore's death. Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm, who coached Moore at Purdue, called him "a complete joy to coach" on X. "[He was] he ultimate competitor that wouldn't back down from any challenge," he added. "Rondale has a work ethic that was unmatched by anyone."
"We all loved Rondale, we loved his smile and competitive edge that always wanted to please everyone he came in contact with," he concluded, sending "thoughts and prayers to Rondale and his family."
Kelly Osbourne Shares Emotional Statement About ‘Endless and Disastrous’ Grief
It's been half a year since rock legend Ozzy Osbourne's death at the age of 76, but for those closest to him, the grief will likely stay with them for the rest of their lives. After Osbourne was honored recently at the Grammy Awards, it seems like his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, has been feeling reflective, as she shared a comment on her grief with fans.
On Feb. 20, the TV personality wrote a message on her Instagram Stories about her personal journey with grief, starting by saying, "Some grief doesn't end."
"It changes shape. It becomes the quiet weight you learn to carry, the ache woven into your days," she went on. "Making it through doesn't mean leaving it behind. It means finding the strength to live and love and keep going even with forever resting heavyly [sic] on your heart."
Kelly continued the emotional message as she wrote, "When grief feels endless and disastrous, like it's unmaking you from the inside out, surviving isn't about conquering it. It's about enduring it. It's about standing in the wreckage of your own heart and whispering, 'I am still here,' even when every part of you feels shattered and like you don't want to be here!"

Timothée Chalamet Teases New 'Dune' Movie, Why He Treated Finale as 'Sacred'
What's your favorite Timothée Chalamet movie? Marty Supreme might scoop up some Oscars next month, so that's just one educated guess...
Among the red-hot actor's upcoming projects is Dune: Part Three, which hits theaters this December. While speaking with Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey at Variety and CNN's recent town hall event in Texas, Chalamet, 30, took time to reveal some new details about the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi trilogy, in which he stars as Paul Atreides.
View this post on Instagram"On the first Dune, we had an ornithopter sequence that I got a chance to do again in the third, but this time I was way more geared up," Chalamet told the Dallas Buyers Club star, 56. "On Dune 3, as opposed to the first movie, I came out early and studied the control panel — all sorts of hieroglyphics and things that aren’t tethered to reality. I wanted to know what each button did, and invent a dynamic for myself with it."
The recent Golden Globe winner continued, "I didn’t want to be complacent about a single moment. Everything was sacred, and it was my last time doing a Dune film, so I really wanted to treat it as sacred. Because people can get complacent, but I was more intense on the third one. It felt like that was the natural momentum, so I wanted to push against that as hard as I could."
Chalamet also commented on co-star Oscar Isaac's performance in the first movie as Paul Atreides' father.
“He treated it in a Shakespearean way — to play it heightened and not really care about it being heightened,” Chalamet said, adding that Isaac, 46, had encouraged him to take “more liberty than ever.”
The star of A Complete Unknown also admitted during the town hall that he's seen Interstellar (which stars McConaughey) a whopping "22 times or something" — and that the most recent screening was at his surprise 30th birthday, orchestrated by girlfriendKylie Jenner.

Handsome ‘Blue Lagoon’ Star Christopher Atkins Celebrates Turning 65 by Lifting an SUV Over His Head

10 Cookbooks Written by Artists That Are Really Good1. Dolly Parton—Dolly's Dixie Fixin's (2006)AI.com / Shutterstock.com
Dolly Parton is far more than a country music legend; she is a global icon, a savvy entrepreneur and a prolific philanthropist. If there is one thing most people can agree on, it is their shared love for Dolly and her genuine spirit.
Amidst her many professional accolades, Dolly is also a passionate cook who has collaborated with various brands and authored her own renowned cookbook, Dolly's Dixie Fixin's. This book has become a beloved staple over the years, blending classic Southern comfort food recipes with personal anecdotes and vintage family photos. While the entire collection is considered a classic, a true highlight of the book is her take on Southern staples, specifically her famous banana pudding.
2. Coolio—Cookin' with Coolio: 5-Star Meals at a 1-Star Price (2009)Denis Makarenko / Shutterstock.com
Coolio was far more than just a legendary West Coast rapper and actor; he was also a self-proclaimed "Ghetto Gourmet" who revolutionized the idea of budget-friendly cooking. Long after "Gangsta's Paradise" topped the charts, he found a second calling in the kitchen, blending his street-smart sensibility with a genuine passion for food. His hit cookbook, Cookin' with Coolio: 5-Star Meals at a 1-Star Price, became a cult classic by proving that you don't need a massive bank account to eat like a king.
The book is famous for its hilarious, no-nonsense instructions and "G-style" terminology, offering accessible recipes that prioritize flavor over fancy techniques. While the entire book is filled with unique twists on comfort food, a standout highlight is his Finger-Lickin', Rib-Stickin', Fall-Off-the-Bone-and-into-Your-Mouth Chicken, which perfectly captures his philosophy of making high-quality soul food on a dime.
3. Isaac Hayes—Cooking with Heart & Soul (2000)Lionel FLUSIN/Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images
Known as the baritone voice behind the "Theme from Shaft" or the legendary "Black Moses" of soul, Isaac Hayes was a dedicated culinarian who viewed food as an extension of the heart. It’ll provide additional storage space while helping you to streamline your room. As a bonus, it can add a chic farmhouse aesthetic to any room you place it in.

Llappuil Freestanding Closet, $60 (was $99) at WalmartA seamless blend of practicality, functionality, and style, this freestanding closet perfectly captures the farmhouse aesthetic. It has an exposed woodgrain finish that gives it that rustic, natural feel that’ll instantly elevate the aesthetic of your living space. The cabinet boasts barn-style doors with X-shaped panels, giving it that classic farmhouse vibe. This closet also has an industrial aesthetic, with a black metal frame.
Measuring around 65 inches tall, 50 inches wide, and 16 inches deep, this closet takes advantage of vertical space rather than taking up floor space, making it ideal for both small and large homes alike. It offers a plethora of storage options to help you organize your space, including a top shelf, hanging rack, and a roomy cabinet. Ideal for winter coats and dresses, the clothing rail is great for hanging delicate and bulky pieces you'd rather not shove away in your overstuffed closet.
You can use the top shelf to store anything from bins filled with seasonal clothes to linens for your guest bedroom. For belongings you'd rather have concealed and more protected, you can place them in the cabinet to hide them behind the doors. The top of the cabinet boasts a spacious surface area with a 120-pound weight capacity to hold folded clothes, purses, and anything in between. You can also utilize the space underneath the cabinet to stow away your shoes.
One very notable feature of the closet is the LED light strip. Not only is it useful for helping to see your clothes so you can easily pick out what you want to wear, but it’ll also create a moody ambiance in your room whenever you want to relax and unwind. It has multiple colors, a timer, and even a music sync function with a built-in microphone that allows the light to flash in accordance with the sounds it picks up.
This closet is made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and has a metal frame that’s fixed with an X-bar to ensure sturdiness. To keep the closet stable, the bottom of the frame is equipped with adjustable feet that you can rotate to tweak the height. The adjustable feet prevent the closet from wobbling, which will be incredibly handy if you have uneven floors. It also comes with an anti-tip kit to keep it from falling over.
“It was very easy to assemble and worked great for my bedroom,” one shopper commented. Another reviewer described it as “sturdy, durable, and very spacious.”

1968 Hit Ranked ‘Most Important Classic Rock Album’ of All Time
When it comes to naming the greatest Beatles album, the debate never really ends. But when it comes to influence? That conversation may have a clearer answer.
Collider has ranked The Beatles' 1968 self-titled double album, commonly known as The White Album, as the most important classic rock album of all time, citing its sheer ambition, experimentation and genre-spanning scope as the deciding factors.
Released at a time when rock music was rapidly evolving, the album feels less like a single artistic statement and more like an entire universe. Spanning 30 tracks across two LPs, The White Album embraces folk, blues, proto-metal, avant-garde sound collage, country, pop and hard rock, sometimes all within a single listening session.
That eclecticism is precisely what makes it so influential. Rather than refining one signature sound, the band stretched in every direction at once. The experimental "Revolution 9" pushed rock into abstract, tape-loop territory, while "Helter Skelter" delivered an aggressive, distorted energy that would later be cited as an early precursor to heavy metal. Elsewhere, tracks veer from delicate acoustic ballads to playful character studies and stripped-down rockers.
A general view of the 'White Album' room is seen at the Beatlemania exhibition in 2009 in Hamburg, Germany. The album was surprising to some fans, who likely expected a different sound as the follow-up to 1967's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
"On Sgt. Pepper we had more instrumentation than we'd ever had," explained Paul McCartney in a 1968 interview. "More orchestral stuff than we'd ever used before, so it was more of a production. But we didn't really want to go overboard like that this time, and we've tried to play more like a band this time-- only using instruments when we had to, instead of just using them for the fun of it."
The album's strength lies in how it condenses the past and future of rock music into one expansive project. It reflects everything that had come before in the 1960s while hinting at countless sub-genres that would emerge in the decades to follow. Few albums feel as overwhelming in both size and ambition.
The Beatles had already redefined popular music multiple times by 1968, but The White Album showed just how far rock could stretch without breaking. It proved that a mainstream band could be daring, messy, experimental and commercially viable all at once.
More than half a century later, its influence is still audible across rock, alternative, indie and heavy music. Whether you see it as their best album or simply their boldest, one thing is clear: when it comes to importance, The White Album stands in a league of its own.

1973 Hit Ranked 'Best Country Song of All Time' by Billboard Belongs to a Reigning Music Queen
Country music is just as popular (if not more popular) than ever, as anyone with ears can tell you. Nearly 80 years since Hank Williams had his first hit with "Move It on Over," country stars are still racking up bestselling songs, with last year's chart-toppers including tracks like Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," and Chappell Roan's "The Giver."
So when it comes to choosing the greatest country song ever, there's an overwhelming number of options to pick from. Luckily, Billboard managed to narrow it down to the 100 "best country songs of all time"...and, interestingly enough, the top 10 was packed with classics from decades gone by (sorry, "Chicken Fried").
In tenth place was Tammy Wynette's 1968 classic, "Stand by Your Man," and with good reason (if you've ever been romantically involved with a male, the words "'Cause after all, he's just a man" have probably run through your head more than once). Next up, at #9, was the only song from the '90s to make it into the top 10: Garth Brooks' "forever singalong" "Friends in Low Places" (1990). The Carter Family's “Can the Circle Be Unbroken” (1935), in eighth place, was the oldest tune at the top (famously covered by the Nitty Gritty Dirty Band in 1972 on their album of the same name).
Loretta Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter" (1970), described by Billboard as a "three-minute encapsulation of finger-bleeding work, parental love, endless chores and indefatigable pride" took the #7 spot, while the iconic Wiliams took 6th place with his quintessential ballad, "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" (1949).
Kicking off the top five was Johnny Cash with the legendary 1956 song "I Walk the Line" (his first #1 Billboard hit), followed by George Jones and the devastating "He Stopped Loving Her Today" (1980). Third place went to Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" (1980), which the 92-year-old musician still plays live to this day.
Coming in second was Patsy Cline with "Crazy" (1961), which — although it was written by Nelson — became her signature song and one of the most popular country tracks in history.
The top spot on the list went to another country queen, whose reign is still going strong: Dolly Parton's 1973 masterpiece, "Jolene," which Billboard called the prolific singer-songwriter's "pen’s finest moment."
Years after the song's release, Parton opened up about her inspiration during an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, saying, “There was a girl that worked at the bank when my husband and I first got married. She got a big crush on him, and I think he kind of had a crush on her. I knew he was spending more time at the bank than we had money. So, I called him on it, and so I kind of took that little bit of that 'other woman' kind of thing.”
As for where the name "Jolene" came from, as Parton explained to NPR, "One night, I was on stage, and there was this beautiful little girl. She was probably 8 years old at the time. And she had this beautiful red hair, this beautiful skin, these beautiful green eyes, and she was looking up at me, holding, you know, for an autograph."
"I said, 'Well, you're the prettiest little thing I ever saw. So, what is your name?'" Parton continued. "And she said, 'Jolene.' And I said, 'Jolene. Jolene. Jolene. Jolene.' I said, 'That is pretty. That sounds like a song. I'm going to write a song about that.'"
The rest is music history.

Only Artist Ever to Have No. 1 Hits Before, During and After The Beatles Topped the Charts on This Day 50 Years Ago
On this date 50 years ago—Feb. 21, 1976—Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons hit No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart with "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)." Fifty years later, the song still holds a distinction no other artist in music history can claim.
When it topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in March 1976, "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)" made The Four Seasons the only artist ever to score No. 1 hits before, during and after The Beatles’ chart dominance.
The New Jersey group had already racked up chart-toppers in the early 1960s with “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Walk Like A Man.” They landed another No. 1 in 1964 with “Rag Doll,” during the height of Beatlemania. Then, more than a decade later, they returned to the top with "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," their fifth and final U.S. No. 1.
A Different Voice on a Signature HitUnlike many of the group’s biggest hits, "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)" did not feature Frankie Valli's signature falsetto on primary lead vocals. Instead, drummer Gerry Polci handled the verses, with Valli singing the bridge sections and backing vocals. Bass player Don Ciccone delivered the soaring falsetto line: “And I felt a rush like a rolling ball of thunder / Spinning my head around and taking my body under.”
The song was written by original Four Seasons keyboardist Bob Gaudio and his future wife Judy Parker, and produced by Gaudio. It appeared on the group’s 1975 album “Who Loves You.”
It Almost Wasn’t About 1963The track’s origins were even more unexpected. The lyrics were originally set in 1933 under the title “December 5th, 1933,” celebrating the repeal of Prohibition. The concept was eventually reworked into a nostalgic love story set in December 1963, transforming it into one of the most enduring pop hits of the decade.
Beyond the U.K. and U.S., the single also reached No. 1 in Canada and South Africa, No. 2 in New Zealand, and No. 3 in Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The song proved so durable that it was remixed and re-released in 1993, climbing back into the Top 3 in Australia and New Zealand and reaching No. 14 in the U.S.
Formed in 1960 in Newark, New Jersey, The Four Seasons became one of the best-selling musical groups of all time, with an estimated 100 million records sold worldwide. The original lineup was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

There may very well be snow falling outside my window but mentally I'm already in spring. I'm dreaming about florals, pastels and light cotton fabrics that float instead of cling. After months of dark coats, heavy sweaters and boots that require actual effort to put on, I am so ready for something airy.
In real life, I'm still layering like my life depends on it. Sweater, coat, scarf—the whole wardrobe shebang. But my virtual shopping carts look like they're living their best lives on spring break. They’re filled with soft colors and pieces that assume the sun will shine again someday. It's very optimistic of them.
Puff-Sleeve Smocked Fit & Flare Mini Dress, $18 (reg. $44.99) at Old Navy Old Navy's Puff-Sleeve Smocked Fit & Flare Mini Dress in a White and Blue Floral colorwayOld Navy
When your Old Navy shopping cart is ready to embrace spring like mine, check out its Puff-Sleeve Smocked Fit & Flare Mini Dress in White/Blue Floral. How sweet is this? With the pale stripes hanging out in the background below the pretty blue floral motif that almost mimics LoveShackFancy, this little number is a pure winner.
Considering the dress is 60% off right now (at least in this colorway), it's worth taking a chance on it at the sale price. Other colorways include Arctic Blue, Pink Stripe and Blue Stripe, the latter of which is currently only marked down to $35.99 for some reason.
Between the smocked top which makes it easy to get a custom fit among different body types and the full skirt which is so flattering, this is really a design homerun for Old Navy. If you're a little worried about the length being too short, a fellow ON shopper has a suggestion for that.
"I bought a tall so it would be longer," they wrote in their review on OldNavy.com. "I'm typically a small or medium and the small worked better for me."
Another shopper chimed in with some kind remarks.
"Adorable dress for summer or date night," she wrote. "Fits perfectly, very feminine."
If you're looking for something a little less dressy but still cute and flattering, Old Navy joggers are where it's at. And I still maintain it has some of the best workout wear around for the price, like the PowerChill Cotton Leggings. So whether you're dressing up or dressing down, hit up ON for some not-so-basic closet staples.
