Delroy Lindo Breaks Silence, Says BAFTAs Made No Outreach After Racial Slur

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:56am

Last night, the 79th annual British Academy Film Awards, or BAFTAs, celebrated and honored the best in British and international film. However, the drama that unfolded beyond the stage in Central London is what’s making headlines today.

Throughout the first half of the show, which had American, British, Australian, and more film industry veterans in the audience, as well as royals -- Prince William and Princess Kate were there -- a man named John Davidson, who is diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome, had a few moments of audible outbursts that included “strong and offensive language.”

Davidson, the subject of the BAFTA-winning biopic about his life and condition, I Swear, was in the audience, along with the man who portrays him in the film (and won the award for best actor), Robert Aramayo

The most offensive moment of the night came early, when Sinners stars Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan took to the stage to present the award for best visual effects to Avatar: Fire and Ash. The two, who are Black actors, appeared to pause after Davidson yelled the N-word, then continued with their presentation of the first award of the night.

The BBC chose not to edit the slur out in later broadcasts.

According to Variety, Vanity Fair caught up with Lindo at one of the after-parties. Speaking about the night’s incident, he told the publication, we “did what we had to do,” adding that he “wished someone from BAFTA spoke to us afterwards.”

Following the incident, host Alan Cumming apologized on behalf of the awards show. He also explained the involuntary tics associated with Tourrette's syndrome and asked that the audience and viewers show compassion and understanding.

“You may have noticed some strong language in the background,” Cumming said. “This can be part of how Tourette’s syndrome shows up for some people as the film explores that experience. Thanks for your understanding and helping create a respectful space for everyone.”

Later, he added, “Tourette’s syndrome is a disability and the tics you’ve heard tonight are involuntary, which means the person who has Tourette’s syndrome has no control over their language. We apologize if you are offended tonight.”

The BBC has since apologized for the outburst, as well as airing the presentation later on without editing out the racial slur.

In response to the significant fan backlash, the BBC wound up pulling the BAFTAs from iPlayer, with a spokesperson saying, “Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards. This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette's syndrome, and as explained during the ceremony it was not intentional. We apologize that this was not edited out prior to broadcast and it will now be removed from the version on BBC iPlayer.”

‘Lost in Space’ Star Reunites With Fellow ’60s TV Icon for Rare Photo — ‘Pals for 65 Years!’

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:54am

Bill Mumy, the beloved former child actor from the classic television series Lost in Space, reunited with a pal from the long-running sitcomMy Three Sons. In a photo shared to Instagram on Feb. 21, Mumy, 72, posed alongside fellow ‘60s child actor Barry Livingston, who is also 72.

Mumy captioned the photo with a nod to the characters the two played on TV in the mid-1960s—and to his longtime real-life friendship with Livingston.

“Seen out on the town last night… BARRY & BILL… 'ERNIE' & 'WILL'... we’ve been pals for 65 years!! Gadzooks. Onward. 👍✌️❤️

View this post on Instagram

Livingston is best known for his role as Ernie Douglas on My Three Sons, from 1963 to 1972. His older brother Stanley also appeared on the show as Ernie’s older brother, Chip. The series aired for a total of 12 seasons, with most of the seasons airing on CBS.

Around that same time, Mumy portrayed Will Robinson on the CBS sci-fi fantasy series Lost in Space. The show aired for three seasons, from 1965 to 1968, and also starred Guy Williams, June Lockhart, Angela Cartwright, and more.

The child actors once worked together

Following his reunion with Mumy, Livingston also posted photos from the meetup. In a Facebook post, the actor revealed that he and his wife, Karen, met Mumy and his wife, Eileen, for dinner.

"Bill and I have been friends for over six decades,” Livingston captioned the post. “One of our first acting gigs was an unsold pilot called The Two Of Us produced by Desi Arnaz. We went on to have roles in iconic TV shows, Lost In Space and My Three Sons. We’ve both worked extensively after those shows, too. Show-biz survivors! Onwards.”

An IMDB listing described “The Two of Us” as an “unsold pilot for a proposed CBS sitcom” about “the adventures of a young boy who lives with his widowed mother a writer/illustrator of children's books [and] relates better to the imaginary characters his mother creates than flesh-and-blood people.”

I Love Lucy alum Mary Jane Croft also appeared in the pilot.

Mumy and Livingston were part of an iconic era of CBS child stars that also included kids from The Andy Griffith Show, Family Affair, and Gentle Ben.

In January, Livingston posted a throwback press photo of the popular child actors posing together in the 1960s. He jokingly described himself as a "prototype nerd” in the caption.

“TBT…From left to right, top row: Bill Mumy, some prototype nerd, Ron Howard. Middle row: Anissa Jones, Stan, Johnny Whitaker. Bottom: Clint Howard,” he captioned the photo, adding, “Yikes! Those faces! No AI, folks. We all were there.”

BAFTAs Racial Slur Deserved a Different Reaction, Suggests 'Sinners' Production Designer

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:53am

The weekend's EE BAFTA Film Awards in London were plagued by an almost inevitable controversy when you think about it. One way or another, Tourette Syndrome campaigner and ceremony attendee John Davidson's condition was going to create headlines at such a famous televised event.

He was there to promote the biopic I Swear, which is based on his life story, but as years of neurological understanding tells us, Davidson's unintentional outbursts were going to offend somebody, somewhere in that glamorous room. And despite Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo's best efforts, that N-word moment has grown legs, with Sinners production designer Hannah Beachler not at all impressed with the way host Alan Cumming addressed it on air.

While her Sinners colleagues Jordan and Lindo presented the prize for Best Visual Effects to the team behind Avatar: Fire and Ash, the Scotsman was heard yelling the racial slur towards them, which was shockingly left unedited from the BBC broadcast. Cumming later pointed out that viewers "may have noticed" the "strong language" at that juncture, and that he was sorry if "anyone was offended".

Beachler herself was allegedly on the receiving end of Davidson's involuntary insults, too, but on social media, she zeroed in on Cumming's handling of the big talking point.

"I keep trying to write about what happened at the BAFTAs, and I can't find the words," she wrote via X. "The situation is almost impossible, but it happened 3 times that night, and one of the three times was directed at myself on the way to dinner after the show. And a third time at a Black woman. I understand and deeply know why this is an impossible situation. I know we must handle this with grace and continue to push through.

"But what made the situation worse was the throwaway apology of 'if you were offended' at the end of the show. Of course we were offended... but our frequency, our spiritual vibration is tuned to a higher level than what happened. I am not steal (sic), this did not bounce off of me, but I exist above it. It can't take away from who I am as an artist."

Deadlinereports that Davidson removed himself from the auditorium after a while, with a BBC spokesperson commenting in a brief statement: "Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards 2026. This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome, and was not intentional. We apologise for any offence caused by the language heard."

It was a successful evening for the I Swear makers, as actor Robert Aramayo took home the Best Actor in a Leading Role statuette and Lauren Evans was hailed for Best Casting.

Curvy Queen Monica Bellucci Looks Better Than Ever at 61 on the Red Carpet After Split From Tim Burton

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:43am

Italian actress Monica Bellucci is getting more stunning with age.

The classic beauty, 61, was first introduced to American audiences in 2000's Under Suspicion. She later gained notoriety as Persephone in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, and portrayed Mary Magdalene in The Passion of the Christ. In 2015, she played opposite Daniel Craig as James Bond in Spectre.

In 2026, it's safe to say that Bellucci is aging like a fine wine. The brunette stunner hit the red carpet at the 79th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, and knocked our socks off. Wearing an off-the-shoulder black Stella McCartney gown and a Cartier High Jewelry necklace from their recent collection, En Équilibre, according to Town & Country, the Italian beauty sparkled just as brightly as her diamonds.

Her Split from Tim Burton

Bellucci and legendary director Tim Burton, who is known for films like Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, dated from 2022 to 2025. However, the couple split back in September.

“It is with much respect and deep care for each other that Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton have decided to part ways,” the couple announced in a note released to the AFP agency.

Later, Bellucci opened up about the amicable split in an interview with Vogue Italia, and made it clear that while they decided to part, there's still a lot of love there.

“There are roads that, at a certain point, cross for a path that continues forever…Tim’s road and mine met to make a path together and then split again,” said Bellucci. “As long as I live, however, Tim will always have a unique place in my heart.”

What's Next for Monica Bellucci?

This past summer, Variety reported that Bellucci has an exciting job coming up.

She's set to play the matron of an aristocratic Sicilian family in Ketticè, directed by Italian director Giovanni Tortorici. The film is also produced by Luca Guadagnino.

Set in 2012 Palermo, the film explores the dynamics between two local sixteen-year-olds, Ketty and Giulio, who together build “an exclusive friendship, a shared refuge in their search for freedom, away from the judging eye of the adult world,” according to the synopsis. Now that's one we can't wait to see!

William Shatner Details How He Accidentally Offended On-Screen Idol Spencer Tracy

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:38am

They say it's always dangerous meeting your heroes, most especially when said hero is none other than accomplished Hollywood legend, Spencer Tracy.

Of course, William Shatner wound up learning this valuable lesson the hard way, with the 94-year-oldStar Trek actor recently telling Entertainment Weekly how he accidentally offended his idol during the filming of 1961's Judgment at Nuremberg.

As Shatner remembered it, "I worshipped Spencer Tracy. And he was very aloof."

While he long held a flattering view of the legendary actor, Shatner revealed that he managed to strain their working relationship by paying Tracy a compliment that Tracy interpreted as an insult.

The incident in question came about when Shatner watched Tracy deliver several lengthy monologues back to back, something that left Shatner absolutely rapt with awe.

"One day, he did a speech, and he knew it completely," Shatner remembered. "And I was amazed that a movie actor would not do [multiple] takes or have it written out for him."

Watching Tracy deliver his powerful performance, the Captain Kirk actor went up to Tracy following the end of the scene with the intention of praising the actor's dramatic abilities.

"So I did approach him — I said, 'Mr. Tracy, I just want to express my admiration that you learned lines!'" Shatner said.

Unfortunately for Shatner, his comments came off as criticism to Tracy, who responded by snapping at his younger co-star and refusing to speak to him again.

"He looked at me, and he said, 'I was on the stage before you were born, son,'" Shatner said. "And he left. He never spoke to me again."

Rather than remaining mournful of such an awkward exchange, Shatner is able to laugh about the incident today, viewing the exchange more as an error in communication on his own part.

"I alienated him by trying to praise him for memorizing his lines," Shatner said. "Terrible. Foot in the mouth, again."

Jack Black Shares Sweet Throwback Photos to Celebrate 20th Wedding Anniversary With Wife Tanya Haden

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:36am

Jack Black and wife Tanya Haden are celebrating 20 years of marriage.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend the 'Jumanji' star posted a carousel of sweet photos of the couple throughout the years.

"20 years! Happy anniversary my love," he captioned the pics, which included adorable snaps of their two kids Sammy, 19, and Tommy, 17.

While tons of fans took to the comments congratulating the couple, Black's celebrity friends also sent their well wishes.

"Beautiful Family you got there!" Cheri Oteri wrote while stars including Amy Sedaris, Josh Brolin, David Spade, Jason Mamoa, and Chelsea Handler all dropped various emojis in the comments.

Love on the Spectrum star, Tanner Smith, who's a known major fan of the 'School of Rock' icon, also commented, "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JACK!"

Black and Haden eloped in March 2006 after meeting in high school, according to People.

However in a 2015 interview with Parade, the actor said that admitted he was "pretty shy" he didn't speak to Haden in school and the two reconnected later in life.

“I didn’t date Tanya or talk to her or anything in high school,” he recalled. “I was pretty shy. I just watched her from afar. We only started dating like 20 years after high school.”

And it wasn't until then that the 'Minecraft' actor even considered marriage.

“Before Tanya, I had always felt like marriage was not for me,” he said. “I didn’t like the way it worked out with my parents. I didn’t ever want to be in a divorce, so I was never going to get married.”

As for what makes their marriage work? Black simply said, "I love her!"

"I’d had decades of flings where, as soon as it was over, I was looking for the exit," he added. "I never feel that need to escape with Tanya."

Soon after eloping though, the couple welcomed their oldest son, Sammy.

Tanya who largely stays out of the spotlight, compared to her husband, is an artist, singer, and actress. Her Instagram reflects her profession and is filled with her work that is displayed in galleries and magazines.

Jeff Daniels Swears by This Unexpected Sandwich Combo, and It's So Chaotic It Actually Works

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:35am

You don't have to look very hard to find everyday examples of celebrities being just like the rest of us. And if there's one common denominator that ties us all together, it's food and the eccentric rituals we rely on to satisfy a hunger craving.

That became especially clear when Jeff Daniels recently stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and revealed his wildly unexpected favorite sandwich, a concoction only your 4/20-friendly pals could dream up.

When asked what the best sandwich was, Daniels said he would "have to go with a personal favorite," before throwing a curveball by listing pita bread, peanut butter, chips and barbecue sauce as its ingredients. "Wow, you threw me there," Colbert replied in shock. "You're either eating that in a poncho or naked, I'm not sure."

Described by Daniels as his "three favorite tastes" and "like visiting three countries at once and they're all in your mouth," my intrigue was immediately off the charts. As someone who appreciates a good stoner food concoction, this sandwich already seemed right up my alley. Follow along to see why it deserves all the hype it's received.

Ingredients Needed for Jeff Daniels' Favorite Sandwich

Nathan Hutsenpiller

The beauty of this sandwich is that it uses ingredients you probably already have in your fridge or pantry. To get started, you'll need pita bread, creamy peanut butter, your favorite barbecue sauce (Daniels swears by Sweet Baby Ray's) and Ruffles Sour Cream and Cheddar potato chips. Feel free to tweak it depending on what you have on hand, though I'd recommend following Daniels' instructions for the full experience.

How to Make Jeff Daniels' Favorite Sandwich

Nathan Hutsenpiller

Now for the easy, slightly inappropriate-feeling part. Take the pita bread, and instead of splitting it open and stuffing it, lay it flat and spread a quarter-inch (yes, that's right) of peanut butter over one half of the circle.

Nathan Hutsenpiller

Now take a handful of chips and crush them in your hands, sprinkling them over the peanut butter layer. Feel free to be as generous as you'd like with this step; this is where you'll be unlocking a bit of childhood nostalgia.

Nathan Hutsenpiller

For the finishing touch, and what will feel like the sacrilegious part of the sandwich, generously add the barbecue sauce directly over the crushed chips and peanut butter. Now fold that sucker in half, take a bite and marvel at the shockingly harmonious mix of flavors that have no business complementing each other so perfectly.

My Honest Review of Jeff Daniels' Favorite Sandwich

Nathan Hutsenpiller

I'll admit that my first reaction to the idea of peanut butter and barbecue sauce was skepticism, but I'm no stranger to pulling random ingredients from the fridge and throwing together a quick midnight snack—so I kept an open mind.

That said, this sandwich absolutely smashed my taste buds in a way I could never have expected to enjoy. The combination perfectly balances sweet, tangy and nutty notes while offering a rich, creamy and smoky profile, with the cheddar-flavored chips bringing a satisfying crunch and an extra punch of flavor to each bite.

Truly one of those "trust me, bro" moments, I couldn't recommend this sandwich enough to anyone looking for a quick midday or midnight snack. It comes together in just a couple of minutes and easily fills you up without overeating. And thanks to a tip from @sandwichesofhistory, who recently reviewed the sandwich himself, I'm already dreaming up clever ways to upgrade it.

Tips for Making Jeff Daniels' Favorite Sandwich

Nathan Hutsenpiller

  1. Heat the pita: Wrap the pita in a damp paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds. This softens it just enough so you can fold it in half like a taco without it splitting.
  2. Be generous with the toppings: Daniels suggests spreading a quarter-inch of peanut butter on the sandwich, so be sure to balance the other ingredients accordingly. The goal is to ensure no single flavor overpowers the others.
  3. Upgrade it: @sandwichesofhistory "plussed" his version with chopped green onion, which he says pairs perfectly with each ingredient. This is your chance to get creative and add flavors you love, though Daniels' version is a guaranteed hit on its own.

This New Costco Bakery Find Has a Sweet, Flaky Crunch

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:35am

One of the best reasons to be a Costco shopper is the warehouse’s consistently exceptional bakery selection.

Only two months into 2026, the bakery aisle is already delivering some of its most mouthwatering treats yet. The latest standout is a twice-baked chocolate croissant that offers a French café-style moment.

At first glance, they look like classic croissants, but the glossy, twice-baked finish with powdered sugar hints at something more indulgent. The extra bake creates a delicate outer crunch while the inside remains tender and buttery. And those layers of flaky pastry surround a rich chocolate center, striking a balance between crisp edges and a soft, tender interior. They are sold in a six-count package for $9.99, and feel like a little luxury that’s easy to justify.

You can see them in their golden glory in this Instagram video shared February 21 by Laura at @costcohotfinds:

View this post on Instagram

This is one bakery treat that’s hard to pass up. After Laura heated hers in the air fryer at 350 degrees for five minutes, she described the result as warm, crunchy, and perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. The quick reheat brings back that just-baked texture, crisping the outer layers while allowing the chocolate inside to soften and melt.

What Makes Twice-Baked Croissants Different From Traditional Croissants

Twice-baked croissants start with fully baked pastries that are brushed with a light sugar syrup, then filled and baked again. The extra step restores moisture, adds a touch of sweetness, and helps create the crisp, lightly caramelized exterior that sets them apart. Recipes such as Good Food Gourmet’sdouble-baked almond croissants show how the syrup keeps the pastry tender while allowing it to bake to a golden finish.

Assorted flaky croissants.

I

While they can be enjoyed straight from the package, a few minutes in the oven or air fryer transforms them into something that tastes fresh from a corner bakery. They pair naturally with morning coffee, work as an afternoon pick-me-up, or double as a simple dessert when you want something warm and chocolatey.

As winter lingers and cozy comforts stay in high demand, this sweet and flaky bakery addition arrives at the perfect moment. It’s an indulgent treat that makes an ordinary Costco run feel even more rewarding.

‘The Voice' Gets Rid of One Major Thing for Season 29

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:30am

The Voice recently revealed exciting news for its 29th season. It is returning with a new format, and the season will be labeled The Voice: Battle of Champions. As part of the new format, it will only feature three fan-favorite coaches, rather than the usual four: Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Adam Levine, all of whom have at least one win to their name.

Buried in the release was the announcement that the semi-finals, which include the Top 9, and the finale, featuring the Top 4, will be voted on by a new voting block. The group will be comprised of super fans, including former Voice artists, who will be in the audience and also get to vote for their favorite as part of the in-studio audience voting. But bottom line, what that means is that there will be no live shows and no voting by America.

Here are some other changes you can expect for the season.

Related: ‘The Voice’ Returns for Season 29 With New ‘Battle of Champions’ Format and Fan-Favorite Judges

Blind Auditions

Coaches compete against each other in the “Triple Turn Competition” (vying for the most three-chair turns), with the winner gaining a special advantage in the next round.  The difference for this season is that the teams will be comprised of only 10 artists, rather than 14, making it necessary for the coaches to be pickier in their selections.

🎤 SIGN UP for our The Voice newsletter to get access to exclusive news, interviews, insider info, sneak peeks & more🎤

Battles

The coach with the most three-chair turns automatically earns a “Super Steal” for the Battles. This coveted prize can only be used once and trumps any other coach’s attempt to steal, guaranteeing a win.

Knockouts

Each coach brings back two fan-favorite artists from their teams in previous seasons to compete in an “In-Season All-Star Competition.” All-stars represent their former coaches as they battle in head-to-head sing-offs. The coach with the most sing-off wins is guaranteed a second finalist in the finale. For this special episode, coaches call upon original Voice coach CeeLo Green to sit in on the competition and determine the winner of each All-Star Showdown.

Related: Every ‘The Voice’ Winner Ever: Meet All the Champions From NBC’s Hit Singing Competition

The concept of superfans voting is not new to NBC. It was employed by another competition show, America’s Got Talent: The Champions. It remains to be seen how it works for The Voice.

The return of Clarkson in one of the red swivel chairs is a plus. She brought a lot of joy to her seasons as a coach, which came to an end when The Kelly Clarkson Show was moved from Los Angeles to filming in New York City. Possibly because of the new format, it became workable for her to juggle her schedule to film both shows concurrently.

Season 29 of The Voice is set to premiere on Feb. 23, 2026.

'Scream' Icon Matthew Lillard Reveals His Favorite Horror Film That 'Changed His Life'

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:18am

The cast of Scream has become horror genre icons, withMatthew Lillard being known in pop culture for his role as Stu Macher. Years later, the actor was asked the infamous line, "What's your favorite scary movie?" and his answer is an obvious one that holds a lot of weight.

In an interview with People, it wasn't a surprise when Lillard's answer was none other than "Scream, because it changed my life forever." There's no denying that Scream brought back a new wave of slasher films in the late 90s that would cement a long-lasting film franchise and would become cult classics.

Lillard even admits that no one in the cast of the first film ever expected to be where they are 30 years later, as the movie celebrates a major three-decade milestone since its original 1996 release. The Five Nights at Freddy's actor adds that Wes Craven wasn't doing well at the time.

He explains that "at the time that the movie came out, Wes [Craven] hadn't had a hit in a little while. Slasher movies were sort of dead and gone for a moment." While Craven has been known for hits like The Last House on the Left, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and more, his films before Scream weren't hits.

The year before the slasher, Craven directed the 1995 vampire comedy Vampire in Brooklyn, starringEddie Murphy, which initially received negative reviews and bombed at the box office. Movies like Shocker, The Serpent and the Rainbow were released with little box office success and barely recouped their budgets.

Related: ‘The Nanny’ Star Fran Drescher Gives Upsetting Update on Returning to Sitcoms

Lillard says the slasher movie appeared like a fun idea once realizing actors like Neve Campbell and Courteney Coxwould be making their introduction to film.

"Frankly, it was two TV actresses in the days when TV actresses didn't cross over to do films. I was like, 'Oh, this is a little horror movie. It'll be fun,'" he tells PEOPLE. "Little did I know in any capacity that A. it would change my life, and B. here we would be 30 years later still celebrating Ghostface in any way, shape or form."

Before Scream, Lillard played lesser-known roles that have since become cult classics, such as Serial Mom, Mad Love, and Hackers. The actor says reaching 30 years since the slasher movie's original release and its continued popularity is a "benchmark" when "so much of your life, you're just fighting to get your next job."

The Viral Grinder Dip That's Taking Over the Internet View this post on Instagram

One of the latest trends I'm seeing online caught my eye—the viral grinder dip. This mash-up of Italian and Greek ingredients seriously has me drooling. @grilledcheesesocial, a popular food blogger, shared their version of the dip, combining crumbled feta cheese, chopped banana peppers, red onion, roasted red peppers, cubed salami and Italian dressing. This combination has fans exclaiming, "now THAT would be dinner."

Besides the bold flavors of briny vegetables and feta and savory, salty salami, my favorite part of the dip is that you can tuck the entire mixture back into the gigantic feta container to store in the refrigerator. It saves you from having to wash an extra storage container and lets you grab some crackers or baguette slices to dip all day long.

The Grinder Dip Recipe Is Easy and Customizable

Multiple accounts have shared their versions of the grinder dip on Instagram and TikTok, with slight variations. Most of them stick to the base recipe, but switch up the dressing depending on what they have on hand or what sounds good in the moment. Ashley Markle Eats on Facebook made it with Olive Garden Creamy Italian Dressing, while @grilledcheesesocial made it with an Italian vinaigrette. Just goes to show that you can make something scrumptious like this dip with your own spin on it. "I would need to add kalamata olives," said one fan.

Some fans are serving it with various dippers to keep things interesting. One commenter stated, "Hear me out babe… salt and vinegar kettle chips," with others responding with "oh hell yes" and "yessss." I think it'd make a fabulous veggie dip with fresh carrots, celery and cucumbers, but I'm not turning my nose up at chips, crackers or baguettes anytime soon.

How to Make Grinder Dip at Home

If you want to try this version of the recipe, stir together 12 ounces of crumbled feta cheese with ½ cup each of chopped banana peppers, chopped red onion, chopped roasted red peppers and chopped salami, then add your favorite Italian dressing. Store it in the feta cheese container in the refrigerator and enjoy anytime, anywhere.

"I just made this. I added some kalmata olives. SO GOOD! Mine didn't fit back in the container though," laughed one person. "This in pasta salad OMG," cried one more. "Made this tonight and everyone went nuts over it! Super easy and delish!!!!" exclaimed another fan. I think the reviews speak for themselves, and I can't imagine a world where this dip isn't delicious, so I'm going to go ahead and add it to my weekly menu.

Legendary Blonde Morgan Fairchild, 76, Recalls Losing Jobs Because She Wouldn’t Sleep With People

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:08am

Morgan Fairchild skyrocketed to fame as one of Hollywood's most legendary blondes. Unfortunately, plenty of people thought they could take advantage of her.

The iconic star, 76, who frequently chronicles her journeys on social media, rose to stardom on shows like Flamingo Road and Falcon Crest, and solidified her stature in Hollywood with guest-starring roles on iconic series like Murphy Brown and Roseanne. But when she was just starting in Hollywood, Fairchild learned she was expected to sleep with people to get certain gigs.

"I know there are jobs I lost because I wouldn’t sleep with people," Fairchild told Fox News Digital in a new interview. "I know that, and I accept that I wasn’t willing to accept that. I just wasn’t willing to sleep with them."

"When I first moved to L.A., everyone told me, ‘If you don’t go to the right parties, if you don’t sleep with the right people, and if you don’t do what everybody does, you’re never going to get anywhere,’" she said. "Well, I don’t even drink, much less do drugs. I just never did. When they told me that’s what it takes to make it here, I thought, ‘Then I guess I just won’t have a career.’"

Of course, Fairchild defied the odds and achieved her success in Hollywood on her own terms.

"I never had to look back on anything," she continued. "I made my decision early on that I was not going to sell my soul or my pride or my dignity to succeed in this business. I might’ve done a little better if I had, but I was willing to live with that."

Keeping Up With Hollywood Friends

Over the years, Fairchild has met a variety of famous faces in Hollywood. Recently, she hung out with everyone from The Facts of Life and Palm Royale star Mindy Cohn to Good Times legend Jimmie Walker. Sporting the same bright smile and shimmering blonde hair, it’s safe to say that Fairchild has fun wherever she goes.

BBC to Remove Racial Slur From BAFTA Awards on iPlayer

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:07am

BBC has issued an official apology for a racial slur being used in the midst of the BAFTA awards' ceremony, confirming that they'll edit the slur out from iPlayer moving forward, as reported by Variety.

The controversy arose during the midst of the BAFTA ceremony, which saw Tourette syndrome advocate John Davidson begin using the racial slur when actors Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo took to the stage to present the award for Best Visual Effects.

Davidson, who served as the subject of the biopic I Swear, himself suffers from Tourette syndrome, which sees those affected involuntarily utter vocal tics, including potential foul or offensive language.

While the slur could only partially be heard in the recording of the ceremony, many viewers criticized the BBC for failing to edit the term out of the ceremony, mainly owing to the significant tape delay where such language is usually removed from the broadcast.

In response to the significant fan backlash, the BBC wound up pulling the BAFTA Film Awards from iPlayer, with a network spokesperson saying, “Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards. This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome, and as explained during the ceremony it was not intentional. We apologize that this was not edited out prior to broadcast and it will now be removed from the version on BBC iPlayer.”

During the awards' ceremony itself, BAFTA host Alan Cumming came to the stage to ask for patience and understanding following Davidson's outburst.

“You may have noticed some strong language in the background. This can be part of how Tourette’s syndrome shows up for some people as the film explores that experience,” Cumming said. “Thanks for your understanding and helping create a respectful space for everyone.”

A short time later, Cumming once again elaborated on Davidson's remarks, explaining, “Tourette’s Syndrome is a disability and the tics you’ve heard tonight are involuntary, which means the person who has Tourette’s Syndrome has no control over their language. We apologize if you are offended tonight.”

CM Punk, Liv Morgan and More Respond to Tom Brady Mocking WWE as ‘Cute’

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:03am

Forget Drew McIntyre, Asuka or Gunther. The biggest villain in the WWE is none other than Tom Brady.

Brady, 48, became WWE’s public enemy No. 1 earlier this month when appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast to discuss the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic taking place on March 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Brady will play football for the first time since retiring in 2023, hitting the field alongside other NFL players and athletes like Paul, 30, who currently wrestles for the WWE.

“I’m actually a little worried for you,” Brady told Paul. “You’re a good athlete, but these guys are on another level… You’re a good athlete, but when I’m thinking of Saquan Barkley, Justin Jefferson…”

“Can Saquon Barkley do a flip off the top rope? A 180 moonsault off the top rope?” responded Paul. To which Brady said, “It’s cute. I love WWE, it’s very cute, but this is real football and real competition.”

Brady’s trash talk didn’t sit well with some WWE Superstars. “What’s wrong with cute? I’m cute, Tom,” said WWE World Champion CM Punk toSports Illustrated.

“I don’t get annoyed, it just comes from a place of ignorance,” said Drew McIntyre, the Undisputed WWE Champion.

“Those who think it’s cute and it’s fluffy, and it’s sweet and stuff, you can come and try and lace up some boots. Then, let’s watch you puke,” added Oba Femi.

Liv Morgan, winner of the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, told Going Ringsidethat she “did not pay any mind” to Brady’s comments.

“Although a lot of people in WWE are cute, there’s so much more to WWE than I think people understand and realize,” she said. “No disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and perhaps put them on the football field, and they will make do; we will get it done.

“But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring, and can they do everything that we do?” she said. “I don’t know. I don’t know about that. So, you know, I think football is actually kind of cute. I think football is cute.”

There is a long history of gridiron football players, both those who played in the NFL and those who were on practice squads, who attempted to become pro wrestlers.

Perhaps the most successful was Bill Goldberg, who played four games for the Atlanta Falcons before becoming one of WCW's biggest stars. And let’s not forget Lawrence Taylor, who defeated Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995, two years after he retired.

Tom Brady, a partial owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, may get a chance to respond in person when WrestleMania 42 takes place at the Raiders’ home of Allegiant Stadium on April 18-19.

'CIA' Stars Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss Tease Explosive Bromance and a Game-Changing Secret in New Series (Exclusive)

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:00am

The relationship between CIA Case Officer Colin Glass and Special Agent Bill Goodman on CBS’s newest installment in Dick Wolf’s FBI franchise, CIA, may not be a bromance on the screen. Bbut to hear the two actors – Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss respectively, describe their working relationship, it’s already one behind the scenes.

Since a big element of the series is the relationship between the two lead men, they actually did a chemistry test to make sure that it would work. Ellis had been cast as Colin even before there was a script for the series, but it took months for the producers to find the perfect actor to play his foil.

“Nick knows this, but he wasn’t the first person that we tested,” Ellis tells Parade. “It was one of those head-scratching — I don’t say "frustrating" — things. But it’s like, ‘Who is this Bill person? What is the right quality?’ And as soon as Nick walked in, put the clothes on and opened his mouth, it was like, ‘Oh this is it. This is it.’ You can’t fake it, Nick was Bill and Bill was Nick, and it was just like, ‘There we go.’”

Gehlfuss came off eight years as Dr. Will Halstead in another of Dick Wolf’s series, Chicago Med. He left that series in 2023 because he was tired of wearing scrubs and he was looking for something more action-oriented. In fact, he had been talking to Wolf Productions about another series, when this opportunity arose.

“I’m exactly where I need to be doing what I need to be doing with the [right] partner,” Gehlfuss tells Parade. “It makes it a lot easier when you have someone you don’t have to worry about. His instincts are spot on.”

CIA is the story of what happens when by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman is loaned out to a clandestine CIA/FBI task force, where he finds himself teamed up with secretive and roguish CIA Agent Colin Glass . Together they will work covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets. On CIA, Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear – their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.

Tonight's "Directed Energy" episode is about a top-secret weapon stolen in broad daylight from a U.S. defense contractor. It's the first time that CIA agent Colin Glass is paired with FBI agent Bill Goodman to investigate. Their new partnership gets off to a rocky start, but they soon realize their opposing viewpoints may be their greatest asset.

Ellis and Gehlfuss talked with Parade, where they teased what to expect from CIA.

Tom, you were brought on to this really early. Was the script even written yet? Or did they say, “We’re going to cast Tom, and then we’ll write the character to his strengths.”
Tom Ellis: I joined it when it was more of a nugget of an idea, basically, and the script went through various incarnations once we started building the world around what the show was going to be.  But when they came to me with the idea and with what the character was going to be in the basic premise, it ticked a lot of boxes for me as something I was looking to do. It’s been a slow progression into the scripts and now we’ve got Mike [Weiss] on board [as the showrunner], captaining the ship, it’s fallen into a really great place. I’m really delighted with how it’s turned out, actually. [Note: CIA went through two showrunners before Weiss:  David Hudgins and Warren Leight].

Nick, it was a while until they cast you. What was it about Bill Goodman that made you right for the role?
Nick Gehlfuss: [He jokes] The hair, probably the only thing, really. Well, he’s supposed to have this Midwest nature to him. And I read that, especially with this haircut and clean shave.

I also have worked with Wolf Entertainment for eight years beforehand and I had come back to do a few episodes of Med. I was also talking to Wolf Entertainment about a possible other idea for a television show, and it just really fell into place and felt absolutely right. I am so happy that this all worked out, to be honest, because I remember meeting Tom for the first time at our screen test. And I was like, “How lucky did we get?” because I already felt like we were working together.

The audition wasn’t your typical audition. It’s a screen test and you try and make everything as real as possible, but we had a mini crew out in New York on the streets by a river, and we were in full wardrobe, makeup, everything. And so it wasn’t an audition; I just showed up to work. Tom is fantastic. The funny thing is that our characters are going through trust [issues] and these collisions, but it was seamless when we started working together.

Tom: I was just going to add to that. It’s weird, when you’re setting a show up like this and it’s reliant on this central relationship, you don’t really know what it is you’re looking for, until it’s like right there in front of you.

When I first heard that the screen test was for the two of you, I thought, “Oh, it’s a chemistry test. This must be a bromance.’ Tell me about this strong male relationship that’s going to start out as conflict and eventually grow into trust.
Nick: Colin and Bill, they go together like a window. He is the glass, I am the pane.

The differences stem from the fact of our different professions, and how we go about those and, of course, as different people in general, but it’s this great concept actually that they’ve justified really well where the CIA isn’t supposed to work on US soil without an FBI liaison. And so, what they’ve done is they’ve created this fusion cell that the show explores.

Bill’s by the book. Colin runs by his own rules – or lack of rules, he’s rogue. And we come to respect one another because we’re both the best at what we do in our fields. We come to respect one another, even though we’re polar opposites. It’s such a brilliant concept because the CIA versus the FBI, there’s massive differences, and we’ve heard that they don’t particularly have high opinions of the other, but have to work together to achieve the same goal of keeping America safe.

Tom: I think the bromance grows out of the fact that Colin is convinced he’s not going to like this guy from the moment he starts working with him, because he does all the things that Colin doesn’t want him to do. He asks too many questions, and he’s so obsessed with the linear approach of law enforcement, which just does not work for the CIA.

The whole point about the CIA is they work outside of the law, they work in the very gray area of catching bad people, essentially. And it’s like, this is not going to work. But then through action, through their journey together, they start to, despite themselves, like each other and realize that they’re quite a prolific team when they drop their egos … or when Colin drops his, anyway.

Nick: I think they both have a bit of an ego, or think that their way is the best way to handle it. But it is like a yin and yang. It’s a wonderful yin and yang. What will be interesting is to see how we wear off on one another and where that line gets blurred because Bill very much has a black-and-white mentality, even though maybe he’s got this desire to get into the gray a little more.

Nick Gehlfuss as Special Agent Bill Goodman

Dick Wolf shows are known for stories that are ripped from the headlines. How much of that will be part of CIA?
Tom: It’s strange because our first episode, we talk about Venezuela, but that was written and shot way before what’s happened. So, it’s not that we’re being reactive to anything. I think the storylines we’re dealing with are always current. The world is in a particularly volatile place at the moment. So, those happy accidents of covering territory that’s actually happening may come up from time to time. But it’s not something that’s been intentional.

In fact, I think more more than ever, we’re talking about these two agencies that are constants and not about whatever administration is currently running them, because their goal is always the same to keep America and Americans safe. And it’s outside of politics in that regard.

Nick: What’s particularly true to that is that we don’t often know what the CIA is doing.

Tom: Well, that’s true as well. Very difficult to research.

Nick: And so, we have resources that are going to help us with some storylines. But I’m sure they’re not going to tell us everything. And we’re going to have to blur the line, and even with the rip from the headlines, which he does, which is why it’s a wonderful formula, is that they tweak it a little bit to keep it relevant, but it’s not like we’re showing the news again. The line was always [that] you sit down to be entertained, and you get up educated. So, this is uncharted territory.

Nick, you had this wonderful role on Chicago Med. We all loved your character. You walked away from that, and now you’re back on another Dick Wolf show. Besides the change of location to New York, what is different enough about this to entice you back to what could be another 10-year contract?
Nick: I was looking for a new playground character-wise and story-wise. I wanted to get outdoors. I wanted a bit more action. And I got it. I totally have it. And the schedule is very different from being in pajamas from 7 to 7 all day indoors. We’re out and about. Nothing’s consistent.

The first action scene, I was so ready. I’m going to run and say, “FBI.” I jump out of this van. And as soon as we get done with the first take, I’m like, ‘Oh, no, I think I pulled my quad.” And then I’m like, “Oh, my God, what did I do?” And the stunt guys were like, “Did you stretch before?” I go, “No, I’m an idiot. I did not stretch.” And I go over to Tom, and I say, “You won’t believe what I did.” And you replied….

Tom:  “Oh, I’ve just pulled my quad. What have you done?”

Nick:  Literally. He pulled his left quad; I pulled my right. We put our two good legs together and we were a team again.

So, are you two doing most of your own stunt work or are you letting the stunt guys do it since you tend to be maybe not as young as you once were?
Tom: Nicely put.

Nick: Well, I’m definitely stretching before I run anymore.

Tom: Yeah, we definitely stretch when we have to run. We try and do as much as we can, as much as we’re allowed to do. But we’ve got a great stunt team that are always ready to jump in and do what they need to do. I think in my head, I can do a lot more than what my body lets me these days. But that just comes with the territory, I suppose.

What is it that’s going to keep these two guys working together after this one case?
Tom: Basically, what happens is they get put together for this one case. But the premise is that they would normally have an FBI liaison to the CIA to work on any cases on home soil. And because the result of the first case is so good, there’s a potential in these two working together and that this fusion cell is made permanent. So, Bill’s character is permanently transferred to this fusion cell. That’s what keeps them together to start with.

Nick: And there’s a major secret even beyond that, that entices Bill even more so, because I think Bill was very apprehensive going over to do this because he’s living his dream job in New York being FBI. I mean, this is a guy that has a law degree and two tours in Afghanistan and was made for this type of law enforcement. But there’s this thing that his superior tells him about and that could be a major career move for him… a career maker.

Fans have already showered the post's comments section with words of excitement upon hearing the news. "OMG So Ready !" wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, "WINONAAAAAAAA😍😍😍😍😍."

“I am so happy that Winona has joined us, she fits right into this world,” Wednesday director and executive producer Burton, 67, said in a statement, per Variety. “And she’s a dear friend. I always feel lucky to work with her.”

"When it comes to Outcasts, Winona Ryder is the GOAT," said creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar in a statement. We loved collaborating with her on ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to Nevermore."

This Year’s Red Bull Spring Edition Flavor Is ‘Really Good’

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 8:45am

Red Bull's highly anticipated Cherry Sakura flavor is finally here!

Three months after rumors suggested the new release would be heading stateside, the popular energy drink company has confirmed it's true.

On Monday, as much of the East Coast battles blizzard conditions, Red Bull is giving everyone something brighter to look forward to: its new Cherry Sakura Spring Edition energy drink flavor.

Red Bull Officially Launches Cherry Sakura Energy Drink Flavor in the U.S.

When the flavor was initially just a mere hope, fans thought that it might be a twist on a beloved international release from a decade ago: Red Bull’s Sakura Cherry Blossom flavor, which it debuted in Japan in 2016.

And now that Parade has reviewed the official description, it appears that not only was the insider intel right, but so were the fans. The new Red Bull seems to have the same flavor profile as the one offered overseas (if not, at least inspired by it).

According to the official announcement, Red Bull Spring Edition Cherry Sakura features the "taste of cherry, cherry blossom (sakura), and a touch of almond flavor." The company calls it the "perfect" way to kickstart the spring. It will be available in regular Red Bull and sugar-free versions, served in 8.4-ounce and 12-ounce individual cans, each with 80 to 102 milligrams of caffeine (depending on the size).

Fast food and snack influencer SnachWithZach was lucky enough to score an early sample of the new energy drink flavor, suggesting that if you’re a fan of cherry flavors "in any capacity," then "this one is definitely a worthy contender." He said it has a strong tart cherry scent and flavor, noting he's a big fan even though he thinks the almond flavor tastes more like a banana. It offers a bit of floral flavors, but it's approachable and overall "really good," he said.

"Sak-ah-rah or watch an episode of Naruto 🤣," one viewer said, correcting the influencer's pronunciation. "Can’t wait to try !"

"Can’t wait to have my baby and drink Red Bull again!" a second exclaimed, adding that "this flavor sounds delicious!!"

A third simply said they "I neeeeeeed this."

"I am definitely picking this up since I'm a big huge Japan fan!" another declared.

"Was hoping for a more floral sakura blossom flavor," someone else shared, "but I will give it a try 🌸."

One more said they've already found it in stores, specifically at a Kroger store in Mansfield, Ohio. "I was just there today," they added.

As for when the rest of the country can expect to find it available, Red Bull said it should be out on shelves at most regular retailers nationwide beginning today (Feb. 23)—which is a full week earlier than the rumors suggested this past fall.

That said, it won't be heading out as part of Red Bull's permanent lineup. The new Cherry Sakura Red Bull will only be available for a limited time, while supplies last, per the press release.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos Brushes Aside Trump's Comments Over Warner Bros. Discovery Sale

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 8:40am

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is formally responding to President Donald Trump's calls for the company to fire board member Susan Rice, a criticism that stems from Netflix's ongoing attempts to purchase Warner Bros. Discovery in a high-stakes industry standoff.

In response to Trump's comments, Sarandos said on BBC Radio 4's Today program, "He likes to do a lot of things on social media" (via Variety).

When asked for his thoughts on Trump's attempts to intervene in the purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery, Sarandos continued, "This is a business deal. It's not a political deal. This is deal is run by the Department of Justice in the U.S. and regulators throughout Europe and around the world."

Sarandos' interview comes a short time after Trump took to social media on Saturday, with the president urging Netflix to halt their attempts to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, as well as for the company to terminate former Obama administration member Susan Rice.

"Netflix should fire racist Trump deranged Susan Rice immediately, or pay the consequences," Trump wrote of the current Netflix board member.

The standoff between Netflix and the Trump administrations arrives at a notably crucial time not just for the streaming provider, but for the entire entertainment industry as a whole.

Above all else, both industry personnel and international audiences have expressed concern over the impact Netflix's acquisition of the studio, potentially leading to a greater focus on streaming content over traditional theatrical releases.

Right now, Netflix is locked in a tight bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery with their corporate rivals, Paramount. According to Sarandos' view, the studio would be altogether safer with its ownership attached to Netflix over Paramount, reasoning that Paramount's takeover could result in Hollywood's five major studios being reduced to four.

“You look at that and think, ‘Wow, this industry will be much smaller under that ownership than it would be under Netflix ownership,'” Sarandos observed.

After a Near-Fatal Brain Aneurysm and Stroke, Marla Gibbs Defies the Odds at 94

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 8:34am

The Jeffersons star Marla Gibbs shows what true grit and determination look like. In her new memoir, It's Never Too Late, Gibbs opens up about surviving a brain aneurysm and stroke in 2006—an experience that taught her what she considers to be the "key to healing in life."

Gibbs wrote that most people don't survive "brain aneurysms, so I knew God still had plans for me. The more my strength and memory came back, the more trouble I got into. As I said before, I’m Gemini and my mind is always curious and always working ... not always for the better," she penned in an excerpt shared with People.

She reflected on living in a rehabilitation facility during her recovery and how she resisted any kind of dependence during rehab after her stroke. "I wanted to go to the bathroom on my own. The bathroom was right next to my bed so I could not understand why I needed help to get there. Every time they would leave the room, I would sneak out of the bed and end up on the floor," she wrote.

During that time, Gibbs also struggled with the fear that her acting career—and independence—might be over. "There was just something inside me that kept saying, 'It ain't over.' But when I got home and looked at the old woman staring back at me in the mirror I said, 'Maybe it is over.' Maybe my days as an actress are gone," she reflected.

Recovery was painful, marked by depression, loss of independence, and deep questioning, as she struggled physically and emotionally after her stroke. As she continued to recover, Gibbs recalled getting frustrated when she tried to show her friend how well she was progressing.

"I went to outpatient rehab for occupational, physical and speech therapy. As I progressed, they had me do a light jog across the room. My friend, Chrystal Carmichael from Detroit, came to help. The first day she got here, we went walking, and then I wanted to show her I could jog, and I fell and hit my head," she wrote. "It was embarrassing but mostly it was disheartening. I complained to the rehab center, and the nurse said, 'We didn’t tell you to jog at home!'"

That's when Gibbs said she embraced patience in her recovery. "I finally accepted where I was at in my recovery," she shared. "I had always been an independent woman who juggled multiple projects. Now, I was totally dependent and could do nothing. Acceptance of where I was in my recovery was essential to me healing, and I think acceptance is key to healing in life."

It's Never Too Late: A Memoir by Marla Gibbs is scheduled to be released on February 24.
