Aldi's Beautiful $20 Home Find Is Giving Luxury Vibes for Less

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:55am

Modern home decor is currently shifting toward tactile comfort and "sensory-friendly" aesthetics. As more people prioritize mental well-being and stress reduction within their living spaces, the demand for items that offer both visual intrigue and physical relief has skyrocketed. Homeowners are no longer satisfied with stiff, purely ornamental accents; they are seeking out pieces that invite touch, encourage relaxation, and serve as a focal point for a cozy, grounded atmosphere.

Incorporating soft textures and organic shapes into a bedroom or living area can transform the energy of a room. Trends like "dopamine decor" and "cozy minimalism" emphasize the importance of high-quality materials that feel good against the skin. Designers often recommend looking for neutral palettes—such as soft creams, beiges and muted oatmeal tones—to create a serene environment that feels expensive yet approachable. When a single accessory can bridge the gap between a sculptural art piece and a functional comfort item, it becomes a must-have for any modern interior.

Beloved '90s Sitcom Became the No. 1 Example of A Functional Dysfunctional Family

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:54am

A fresh wave of '90s nostalgia is sweeping the internet, and one classic sitcom is being singled out as the ultimate portrait of a family that somehow thrives amid total chaos.

According to a recent BuzzFeed roundup of the best '90s sitcoms audiences grew up loving, Everybody Loves Raymond stands out as perhaps television’s clearest example of a “functional dysfunctional family” — a household built on equal parts love, irritation and absolute lack of boundaries.

Premiering in 1996, the CBS hit followed sportswriter Ray Barone, his wife Debra and their three kids as they navigated everyday life in suburban Long Island.

Premiering in 1996, the CBS hit followed sportswriter Ray Barone, his wife, Debra, and their three kids as they navigated suburban life on Long Island. But the real engine of both comfort and conflict lived directly across the street: Ray’s intrusive mother, Marie and perpetually cranky father, Frank, who dropped by constantly — invited or not. Add in Ray’s deeply insecure brother Robert, and nearly every episode became a pressure cooker of passive-aggressive comments, sibling rivalry and marital tension that felt pretty real.

What set the series apart was its refusal to sugarcoat domestic life that often features arguments, old grievances, and apologies that fall just a little short. The humor came not from outrageous plots but from painfully familiar struggles: meddling in-laws, uneven household labor, favoritism and the quiet exhaustion of parenthood.

Even the finale stayed true to that ethos. Rather than a dramatic send-off, the series ended simply, with the family together at home, still trading barbs, arguing and staying true to their characters.

The show's authenticity helped make it a nine-season powerhouse and a lasting comfort watch. The show officially ended its run on May 16, 2005.

Decades later, the Barones remain instantly recognizable to anyone who has ever navigated complicated relatives or crowded holiday dinners. Everybody Loves Raymond endures because it embraced the mess. The characters may have driven each other crazy, but they never stopped showing up, and that made all the difference.

’90s Rocker Announces First Solo Album in 27 Years

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:52am

Linda Perry — the lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band 4 Non Blondes — will be releasing her first album as a solo artist in 27 years.

Let it Die Here will be Perry's third studio album as a solo artist, with her most recent solo work being After Hours, released in 1999. Perry, 60, also released the album Deer Sounds in 2015, however it was produced in collaboration with her then-wife Sara Gilbert.

The album is scheduled to release on May 8, while the first single — a version of the hit Christina Aguilera song "Beautiful" (2002), which Perry actually wrote — is already out.

Linda Perry has announced Let It Die Here, her first solo album in over 25 years.

In a press statement, Perry said that "Beautiful" was written out of her own insecurities. "When I wrote 'Beautiful,' I had no idea I was struggling inside," she wrote. "'I am beautiful no matter what they say.' 'They' represents the insecurities we all face, the fear that makes people unkind simply because someone or something is different. 'Beautiful' is about self-expression, being free to be whoever you want to be."

The album Let it Die Here will also be released in tandem with the 2024 documentary of the same name about Perry's life and career, featuring interviews with her various collaborators, including Aguilera, Dolly Parton, Brandi Carlile and more. The documentary will be hitting theaters again in May 2026.

Perry rose to fame as a member of the rock band 4 Non Blondes, which also currently includes Christa Hillhouse, Dawn Richardson and Roger Rocha. Their smash hit single "What's Up?" (1993) remains the band's signature song, reaching No. 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

After the band disbanded in 1994, Perry began her solo career by producing and writing songs for other major artists like Alicia Keys, Pink, Gwen Stefani and Courtney Love. Her first solo album In Flight was released in 1996, with After Hours coming out three years later. Perry was nominated for a Grammy Award for Song of the Year for "Beautiful" (2002). Beloved ‘RuPaul's Drag Race’ Star Maxi Shield Dies at 51 After Heartfelt Final Update

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:45am

Maxi Shield, a fan favorite from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, has died at 51 after battling cancer. She died just weeks after sharing a hopeful update with fans.

The Australian native, whose born name was Kristopher Elliot, had been battling cancer for some time. Her stage name was inspired by her love for iconic entertainer Brooke Shields, and was a variation of a nickname a roommate had created years ago.

A popular performance venue in Sydney, Australia, paid tribute to Shield via Instagram. "We are shocked and deeply saddened by the news of our beloved Maxi Shield's passing," the caption read.

The last time that Shield posted on Instagram was on January 30. Several other more recent posts by venues had tagged Shield, but this was the last post she shared herself.

In a "Weekly update-ish," Shield wrote, "We are stronger than we think!"

View this post on Instagram

In that January 30 post, Shield revealed it had been 29 days since her last cancer treatment. The first couple of weeks after the treatment had been quite difficult, but she was feeling quite a bit better when she recorded her video update.

In fact, Shield explained, that previous cancer treatment was "probably the worst I've felt over this whole experience." Despite that, she added, "But each day I'm feeling a little better."

She also noted that she was embracing "baby steps" and listening to her body.

In addition, Shield revealed, "I do have some really fabulous news though. I will be returning to the stage this Thursday5th Feb at Palms for Karaoke Bare."

Despite her illness, Shield never lost the desire to perform. In her Instagram post, she explained, "Drag has been my life for ever and to have this amount of time away from something I truly love has been challenging."

She added, "So just having a date [to perform] has really helped mentally to push forward." Shield noted she wouldn't be able to perform as dynamically as she used to. However, "Seeing a tiny light at the end of the tunnel really has lifted my spirits."

"To anyone out there going through this or even recently being diagnosed, you are stronger than you know, this is just a moment in an incredible life you have left to life... you can do it. I love you. Maxi xx," she added.

Shield had continued to schedule appearances despite the cancer treatments. She was slated to host a trivia event on February 25, and was scheduled to be at a Mardi Gras Viewing Party on February 28 as well.

An Instagram post shared on February 5 showed Shield with fellow drag performer Jacqui St. Hyde. In the caption, St. Hyde tagged Shield and wrote, "SHES BAAAAAACK!!!"

In her bio, St. Hyde shared a link to a GoFundMe created on Shield's behalf. The fundraiser was initiated in August 2025, and so far, has raised $45,000 of the $50,000 goal.

Iconic '90s Actress, Nicknamed ‘The Face of Natural Glamour’ Became Famous Off a Jumbotron

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:36am

Long before she became one of the most recognizable faces of the 1990s, Pamela Anderson was just another fan in the stands.

In 1989, while attending a British Columbia Lions Canadian Football League game at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Anderson was featured on the venue's Jumbotron wearing a Labatt's Beer T-shirt. The crowds enthusiastic reaction caught attention and representatives from Labatt’s reportedly took notice.

According to multiple accounts of her early career, Labatt's hired Anderson shortly after the game to appear as a promotional model. She became known as the brand's "Blue Zone Girl," appearing at events and in advertisements. It was a role that quickly elevated her public profile in Canada.

Shortly thereafter, that unexpected big-screen moment set off a chain reaction.

Later that same year, Anderson appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine's October 1989 issue. She went on to become one of the publication's most famous Playmates and was named Playmate of the Year in 1990. Over the course of her career, she would appear on more Playboy covers than any other model, cementing her status as a pop culture phenomenon.

Her rising visibility led to television opportunities. In 1991, Anderson joined the cast of the ABCsitcomHome Improvement, playing Lisa, the "Tool Time" girl. But, it was her role as lifeguard C.J. Parker on Baywatch, beginning in 1992, that made her an international superstar. The series became one of the most-watched television shows in the world during the 1990s, turning Anderson into a global icon.

No one was more surprised by Anderson's meteoric rise to fame than the star herself. "Who would have thought it would have all gotten so huge in such a short amount of time? I mean, It's not like I've done a lot," Anderson told Interview in 1998.

In recent years, Anderson has experienced a public reappraisal. Through her 2022 Netflix documentary Pamela, a love story and her 2023 memoir Love, Pamela, she revisited her early fame, personal struggles and reinvention. She has also drawn praise for embracing a makeup-free aesthetic at high-profile events, earning renewed attention as what some have described as "the face of natural glamour."

But it all began with a split-second camera cut at a football game.

1970s Disco-Era Kings Made Their Last Concert Appearance 23 Years Ago Today

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:34am

Brothers BarryRobin, and Maurice Gibb skyrocketed to fame as The Bee Gees, and February 23 holds a place for the musical legends in history.

The Bee Gees started as a singing group in the '50, originally calling themselves the Rattlesnakes. By the time the '60s came around, they were known as the Bee Gees and found significant success with their unique harmonies. But it was their chart-topping triumph in the '70s during the disco era that the beloved group became best known for, particularly with their Saturday Night Fever album, which won them five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Flash forward several decades, and the group, which maintained a devoted following for years, continued to tour. However, on February 23, 2022, the Bee Gees made their last concert appearance at the Love and Hope Ball in Miami Beach, Florida, according to This Day in Music.

Barry Gibb is the only surviving member of the three original Bee Gees.

"How Deep Is Your Love" Is a Bee Gees Favorite

It has been five decades since the Bee Gees released their iconic song “How Deep Is Your Love,” but the beloved tune from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack recently hit a major milestone.

The song, which was written and recorded by the Bee Gees in 1977, hit one billion streams on Spotify last year. The group announced the milestone on TikTok with a sweet video of Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb singing the infamous tune in the original video.

“How Deep Is Your Love” is officially part of the @Spotify Billions Club. Nearly five decades later, still as timeless as ever 🤍,” the caption shared.

The Song in Saturday Night Fever

“How Deep Is Your Love” served a memorable role in Saturday Night Fever, the coming-of-age tale of Tony Manero, an Italian-American man in New York City’s Brooklyn who discovers a talent for disco dancing amid upheaval in his personal life. Manero was played by a young John Travolta, who was largely known at the time for his role on the sitcomWelcome Back, Kotter. The Bee Gees contributed several other iconic songs to the film’s beloved soundtrack, including “Stayin’ Alive,” “Night Fever,” and “More Than a Woman.” Both the film and the soundtrack went down in history as classics.

The Bee Gees Wrote Major Hits for Other Artists

While the Bee Gees had a laundry list of musical hits of their own, they also composed a variety of hits for other performers. One of the biggest songs they wrote for other musical legends included “Islands in the Stream,” which went on to be a major hit for country icons Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Rogers released the tune in 1983 on his album, Eyes That See in the Dark. The Bee Gees later released their own live version in 1998. Here’s a look at the group performing the classic together in Las Vegas in 1997.

'Days of Our Lives' Promo Hints at Major Kidnapping

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:34am

This week on Days of Our Lives will feature a major milestone for one couple and a dangerous situation for another, according to a newly released promo for the episodes airing February 23, 2026 through 27, 2026. The preview was posted on the show’s official YouTube channel.

The promo opened up with Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) at a doctor’s appointment with Sarah Kirakis (Linsey Godfrey), where she hears her babies heartbeat for the first time and becomes emotional.

Elsewhere in the promo, Ariana Horton (Marissa Reyes) kisses Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) on the cheek as E.J. DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) watches. The words “Love can’t always protect you” appear on screen.

Rachel DiMera (Alice Halsey) is also shown on a phone call, saying, “You want me to give Holly a gift, but you don't want me to tell her it's from you?”

Marlena Black (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) discuss the possibility that Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) could kidnap Kayla’s daughter, Stephanie Kirakis (Abigail Klein).

“He doesn't fit the typical profile of somebody who would do a thing like this,” Marlena tells Kayla.

“But are you saying that you don't think that Jeremy is capable of kidnapping Stephanie?” she responds.

Meanwhile Stephanie is shown being kidnapped by an unknown assailant, as Alex Kirakis (Robert Scott Wilson) warns: “You lay one finger on Stephanie's head and I swear to God I will kill you.”

Fans quickly took to the comment section on YouTube to share their thoughts on the week ahead.

One user wrote, “Finally! This story of Stephanie's stalker is moving forward... it certainly took long enough to get to the interesting part of it. Now it's also time to wrap up wicked Sophia's ridiculous storyline... it's simply not interesting enough to keep dragging it along any more than it has been, which it's been much, much too long to keep this one going. Other than that, it looks to a decent week ahead.”

A second user asked the hard questions, saying, “Ok Ari & Liam.... seriously Rachel why are you helping Sophia!!!”

With a third user pointing out, “Overall, it's been very slow for a sweep month. I'm glad to see things get to moving on the stalker story. Ari seems to have a thing for older men.”

Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.

Lindsey Vonn Says Surgery Saved Her Leg 'From Being Amputated'

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:25am

Lindsey Vonn's latest update following her devastating crash and resulting surgeries may be the most vulnerable that we've seen her yet, but the skier is still staying in high spirits.

In a lengthy Instagram video, posted Monday, the famed skier shared the complete extent of her injury following her crash and ACL tear earlier this month and how her doctor ultimately "saved my leg from being amputated."

"He did what's called a fasciotomy where he cut open both sides of my leg, kind of 'filleted' it open, so to speak, let it breathe, and he saved me," she shared.

View this post on Instagram

"I always talk about how everything happens for a reason but if I hadn't torn my ACL, which I would have torn anyway with this crash, if I hadn't done that, [Dr. Tom Hackett] wouldn't have been there," she added. "He wouldn't have been able to save my leg, so I feel very lucky and grateful for him, for the six hour surgery he put in on Wednesday to rebuild it."

The Olympian, who has three medals from competing over the years, also shared that she spent more time than expected in the hospital due to blood loss "from all the surgeries" and pain that was "out of control."

Vonn, 41, is now out of the hospital and transferred to a hotel, she said in her update, however she's in a wheelchair and has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

Related: Lindsey Vonn’s Father Says He Hopes Olympic Crash Marks ‘The End of Her Career’

"I'm very much immobile," she said. "I'll be in a wheelchair for a while because I also broke my right ankle, so I hope I can be on crutches in a little bit, but we'll see and [I'll] probably at least be on crutches for two months, but I'm going to get right to work on rehab and see what I can do and take it one step at a time like I always do."

Getting emotional at times, she also admitted that, "it was definitely not the way I wanted to end my Olympics but it's been really inspiring to watch my teammates. Watching Team USA dominate has been really uplifting."

"I wish it had ended differently but I'd rather go down swinging than not try at all," she said. "This year was incredible and so worth everything and I worked really hard to get back and it was so worth it and this was just one blip on the radar its one thing that i wish didn't happen, but life is life and we have to take the punches as they come. So I'm going to do the best I can with this one."

"It really knocked me down but I'm like Rocky, I'll just keep getting back up," she added.

And when she is back up, there's a certain Dancing with the Stars pro that's looking to have her as a partner if she's looking for a new venture.

Liza Minnelli Opens Up About a Joint 1965 Performance That Had Judy Garland 'Fumed'

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:17am

Liza Minnelli is letting loose some interesting stories about her mother,Judy Garland, in her new memoir, Kids, Wait Till You Hear This! The icon looks back at when she was 18-years-old and her mother furiously telling their producer to get Minnelli off the stage during a 1965 performance.

In 1965, Garland and Minnelli sang together at the London Palladium. Minnelli remembers her other being excited to see her perform and had initially cheered her on from the sidelines during her first song. As Minnelli went into her second, Garland's reaction changed and was noticeably less enthusiastic.

"After my first song [on opening night] I heard her shout, 'Yeah, baby! Go get 'em!'" Minnelli says in an excerpt by PEOPLE. "After the second song, another 'Yeah!' but not quite as strong. By the third song, let's just say she was losing enthusiasm."

The "New York, New York" singer went on to reveal that by the third song and everyone's grand applause, Garland wanted her kicked off the stage. Minnelli says she could hear her mother from the side of the stage while she performed.

"I heard her whispering to our producer, Harold Davison: 'Harold, get her off my f---ing stage!'" she explained. "I just kept singing to wild applause as Mama fumed."

Minnelli soon noticed in a "stunning realization" that her mother's image as a Hollywood icon overtook her role as a mother. The night had started with Minnelli as "Mama's daughter" and quickly turned to become her "onstage with Judy Garland."

It just so happens that a live album titled "Live" at the London Palladium was released in 1965 and comprised those very duet performances. Their performances were a first for the mother-daughter duo and marked the collaboration between two different generations of performers. Minnelli was just starting her career at 18, while Garland was going through the abrupt cancellation of The Judy Garland Show that same year.

Minnelli would reveal in a 2015 interview that she was tricked into performing after having told her mother "no" when initially asked. When Garland had publicly announced the concert, Minnelli had no choice but to join her on stage.

Brittany, 30, and Patrick, 30, who got married on March 12, 2022, welcomed their eldest daughter, Sterling, on February 20, 2021. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his high school sweetheart later welcomed son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III on November 28, 2022, and daughter Golden Raye on January 12, 2025.

It’s been a challenging few months for Patrick Mahomes, who sustained a torn ACL on December 14, 2025, during a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The injury not only ended his season but also contributed to the Chiefs' 6-11 record and their first playoff miss in over a decade.

That said, Patrick underwent surgery and is slated to return for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season. The question remains, however, will Travis Kelce be joining him?

4 Key Personality Traits of People Born in February

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:11am

Were you born in February? Whether you most look forward to the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, or getting through the coldest days of the year by cozying up with your significant other or someone special, a bucket full of popcorn, and your favorite blanket, February is a month that invites you to connect with others — even if it’s in a super low-key, restful, dreamy way. And that’s reflective of the imaginative, social, spiritually-aware vibe of this month brought to you by the astrological energies that are in play.

Whether you’re February-born yourself or you care about someone who is, read on to better understand how being born during the second month of the year influences a person’s perspective, strengths, and even challenges, according to astrological influences.

The Astrology of Being Born in February

People born in February fall under one of two zodiac signs: innovative Aquarius (January 20 - February 18) or spiritual Pisces (February 19 - March 20). Aquarians, represented by the Water Bearer, are characterized by their social, humanitarian, forward-thinking point of view and desire to innovate, think unconventionally, and strike out on their own. As a fixed air sign, they are laser-focused on what they believe and what they want to achieve. On the other hand, Pisceans, represented by the Fish, are artists and empaths whose spiritually astute and deeply feeling nature makes them natural-born healers. As the mutablewater sign, they’re adaptable but might also struggle with passivity.

That said, people born in February typically possess the gift of progressive vision, creativity, and a desire to bolster others’ well-being — whether we’re talking about their community or closest loved ones. Being born during some of the chilliest days of the whole year, when the sun’s light is only beginning to last a little bit longer into the day, February-born individuals can’t help but be dreamers, understanding that darkness might exist in the present but are capable of envisioning bright progress on the horizon.

4 Core Personality Traits of Those Born in February1. Humanitarian

There’s a reason “the Age of Aquarius” is synonymous with the idea of a humanistic, fair, and just utopia: The group-oriented fixed air sign is known for prizing community, society, and humanity over self. And similarly, Pisces, the mutable water sign, is born with a burning desire to heal the world. That said, February-born people are wired to think about how they can give back, be of service, and bolster other people’s well-being. They wouldn’t think twice about donating their time, energy, or money to a cause close to their heart. They're proud to move through life with an eye toward doing what’s best for the world as a whole, whether that’s composting, getting involved in local activism, or helping care for others at home or in their line of work.

2. Creative

February-born people are innately artistic, inventive, and clever, thanks to both Aquarius’ modern ruler, electrifying Uranus, and Pisces’ modern ruler, idealistic Neptune. Whether they’ve always tapped into their artistic impulses and are gifted in a particular creative outlet (like dance, drawing, or graphic design), they’ve actually explored inventing something new, or they come up with out-of-the-box ideas that shock and thrill their nearest and dearest. Whether they tend to come at creative undertakings from a more rational or dreamy, rose-colored glasses place, their mind simply works in an extraordinarily brilliant way.

3. Social

Despite falling in the thick of a season with at-times challenging weather, February can’t help but be a super-social month, and, in turn, those born during this month tend to be truly people-oriented. Associated with the Eleventh House of Groups, Aquarian energy is extremely geared toward teamwork and platonic bonds. Given its association with the Twelfth House of Spirituality, huge-hearted Pisces wants to bond with loved ones, friends, and even strangers in a deeply compassionate, intuitive way. This all adds up to February-born people being truly invested in connecting with others as a priority in life.

4. Philosophical

People born in February tend to think about life in an especially expansive way, eager to learn, grow, and experience life fully. Someone with more fixed Aquarius in their birth chart will go about this in a more rational, pragmatic, resolute way than those with more mutable Pisces, as the sign of the Fish tends to go with the flow, follow their hearts, and bring a spiritual, dreamy vibe to their pursuit of knowledge. But in general, February-born people are wired to explore, daydream, let their imagination run wild, and immerse themselves in meaningful conversations about the big questions of life.

86 Years Ago Today, Folk Legend Wrote the Song That Would Launch Bob Dylan's Career

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:10am

It's rare that a song stays popular and relevant for close to a century, but Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" managed to do just that...and much more.

As This Day in Music reported, Guthrie wrote “This Land Is Your Land” in his room at the Hanover House Hotel in New York City on February 23, 1940.

Guthrie sarcastically titled the song “God Blessed America for Me" at first, according to NPR, because he was annoyed by Irving Berlin's "God Bless America" (which was playing on the radio non-stop at the time). The lyrics called attention to the fact that not everybody in the country was feeling particularly blessed, as the Great Depression was going on, something Guthrie witnessed firsthand while walking, hitch-hiking, and riding the train all over the nation.

That's why — in addition to the lines everybody knows about the "endless skyway" and "golden valley," the original lyrics included the verse:

"There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me.
The sign was painted, said 'Private Property.'
But on the backside, it didn't say nothing.
This land was made for you and me."

The verse wasn't included when the song was finally released in 1951. Guthrie's daughter Nora Guthrie offered an explanation about why it was cut, saying, "This is the early '50s, and [U.S. Sen. Joseph] McCarthy's out there, and it was considered dangerous in many ways to record this kind of material," she said.

"If my dad had done the recording, I don't think it would have meant anything to him if he was imprisoned, actually," she added. "He was quite used to living without and having nights in prison and things like that. Like most of the things, if we're talking about my dad, it gets very complex here."

Over the years, the tune went on to be covered by the likes of Pete Seeger, Bruce Springsteen, and — of course — Bob Dylan, who performed the song at his Carnegie Hall debut in 1961. While only 53 people showed up for the performance, a positive review in the New York Times led to a deal with Columbia Records, launching Dylan's career.

As Ewan Gleadow wrote for Cult Following in a review of the bootleg recordings from the concert, the set also featured some of Dylan's "earliest writings," including "Song to Woody" and "Talkin’ New York."

Over 80 years since it was first written, "This Land Is Your Land" — one of the first songs to be chosen by the Library of Congress for inclusion in the National Recording Registry — is now one of the most famous American folk songs of all time (if not the most famous).

Gordon Ramsay's Reaction to This Soothing Voice Is Priceless

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:04am

Lisa Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay are both known for commanding attention. The two have worked together previously on Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars, but fans got an unexpected surprise seeing their paths cross in another totally unique way.

In a playful Instagram clip that quickly caught viewers’ attention, Vanderpump, 65, delivers what can only be described as a tongue-in-cheek guided meditation aimed at Ramsay, 59. The moment blends her signature elegance with sharp humor, creating a crossover that feels both unexpected and completely on-brand.

"Welcome to this guided meditation on restlessness, control, and slowing down," Vanderpump's voice relays.

"Can we have a power cut?" Ramsay jokes to himself. He gives it his all, but Ramsay's intense passion for cooking can't be quelled, even with a little help from Vanderpump's soothing vocal fry.

Rather than offering a traditional mindfulness session, Vanderpump leans into the joke, addressing Ramsay with the kind of mock serenity that longtime fans immediately recognized as classic LVP. The setup feels calm and soothing at first, but the delivery carries her unmistakable wit, turning the "meditation" into a comedic nod at some of Ramsay’s most famous kitchen blow-ups ("IT'S RAW!").

The exchange highlights the entertaining dynamic between the two restaurateurs, whose larger-than-life public personas couldn’t be more different. Ramsay is celebrated for his fiery intensity, while Vanderpump’s style tends to revolve around polished poise and dry humor. This makes the faux meditation all the more amusing, especially to fans.

"LVP could convince me to do just about anything," one comment reads.

"Victoria Beckham would be wonderful at soothing high spirit like Gordon's," another commenter suggets. "Most soothing voice ever."

"Bring them back together on TV," another begged.

While the video itself is brief, it taps into something fans love: seeing familiar figures interact in ways that break from their usual formats. And for followers of both stars, the clip offers a fun glimpse of what happens when two powerhouse names collide, even if only for a few seconds of Instagram gold.

'80s Heartthrob Chris Sarandon and More Join Cast of Netflix's 'Wednesday'

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 10:03am

As audiences look ahead to the release of the third season of the wildly popular Netflix series Wednesday, the fan-favorite TV show has confirmed several recognizable faces will soon debut in Tim Burton's Addams Family-inspired spiritual remake.

According to the streaming provider, multiple actors are set to appear in the next highly anticipated installment of Wednesday, including frequent Burton collaborator Winona Ryder, who the director worked with in Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

In addition to Ryder, Netflix confirmed several new names will star in Wednesday's third season, including Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, Eva Green and Kennedy Moyer.

Perhaps the most surprising name of the newly revealed Season 3 lineup, however, is '80s icon Chris Sarandon. Best known for his numerous roles throughout the '70s and '80s, Sarandon previously worked with Burton as the voice of Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Of course, most viewers might recognize Sarandon for his leading roles in such beloved '80s movies as The Princess Bride, in which he portrayed the loathsome Prince Humperdink, and Fright Night, in which he played the dashing suburban vampire Jerry Dandrige.

While the 83-year-old Sarandon has remained active in the theatrical, television and movie communities, the peak period of the actor's career came in the late '70s, '80s and '90s, as seen with his breakout performances in Dog Day Afternoon and Child's Play, among others.

As of yet, Sarandon and his fellow co-star's roles in the series have yet to be disclosed. However, Sarandon's previous collaborator Burton expressed excitement at all of the surprises that await fans for Wednesday's third season.

“I’m so excited to be back for Season 3, and it’s great to be reunited with all of the original cast," Burton said. "The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine — Winona, Eva, Chris, and Noah — makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky.”

Add in John Stanier of alt-rock legends Helmet and the avant-garde misfits Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle) and Mike Patton (Faith No More/Mr. Bungle). Mix them for a quarter of a century, and what do you get? You get Tomahawk, the experimental rock supergroup that's back after a 13-year hiatus!

On Monday (Feb. 23), Tomahawk announced the "A Huge Waste of Your Time And Money" tour, a month-long trek across the U.S. celebrating their 25th anniversary. Tomahawk's labelmates, Melvins, will join them for this auspicious occasion.

This tour be the first time the supergroup played live since 2013, when they were supporting their album, Oddfellows. The band released Immobility in 2021, but due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the album was never performed live.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. local time, with an Ipecac pre-sale available Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. local time. Ticketing links are available via Ipecac.com.

Tomahawk released their self-titled debut album in 2001, followed by Mit Gas in 2003 and Anonymous in 2007. Their third album, Oddfellows, is their most critically acclaimed and commercially successful to date, reaching No. 9 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart. After "all kinds of touring and festivals," the band's members "went back to their gazillion other gigs in 2014," per the release.

"This [band] is one of the most clear that I've been in," Patton told Forbeswhen discussing 2021's Immobility. "Meaning, Duane [Denison]writes the music, we execute it, and then I do my thing. And then we kind of make sure that it all works together. So in hindsight, Tomahawk is a really great and easy band to be in because I got my role, everybody knows their roles. It's like a really good sports team. Everybody does their job and then somehow, hopefully, we find the magic in it."

HBO Drama That Produced Best-Ever Series Finale Began 25 Years Ago

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:59am

You can keep your Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The Americans, because when it comes to greatest-ever TV finales, there's no looking past black-comedy drama Six Feet Under.

Dreamt up by Oscar-winning screenwriter Alan Ball (American Beauty) before he explored vampirism to great effect in True Blood, Six Feet Under premiered 25 years ago on major network HBO, back when television was still a dirty word amongst actors and creatives. Without shows like this, the snowballing of prestige small-screen stories would've never unfolded, eradicating the current streaming wars between Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, and Disney+ from history.

Focussing on the Fisher & Sons funeral business in Los Angeles, the series stars Peter Krause, Michael C. Hall, Frances Conroy, Rachel Griffiths, Lauren Ambrose, Freddy Rodriguez, Mathew St. Patrick, and Richard Jenkins. The theme tune was composed by Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption), while each episode opens with a death scene that lays the foundations for what's to come in the next hour or so.

But its 63rd and final installment, titled "Everyone's Waiting", is where Six Feet Under really solidified itself as a classic; skipping to each remaining character at the moment of meeting their maker - soundtracked by Sia's soaring "Breathe Me."

Crushing, overwhelming, perfect, while both Screen Rantand SlashFilm previously declared it the best TV swansong.

Ball discussed the show's ending with The Hollywood Reporter on its 10th anniversary.

"In the writers' room — I beat myself up for this constantly because I can't remember who it was that suggested it — we were talking about how we should end the show and someone said, 'We should just kill everybody,'" he recounted. "They said, 'No, we should flash forward in time and be with each one of these characters when they die.' Something in my head just went, 'Click. Of course. How else could you possibly end this show?'

"As a culture, we are not particularly comfortable with the idea of mortality. Everyone thinks about death, especially the older you get. There's something cathartic about it. If you're a fan of a series and you're watching the finale, you are kind of emotional anyway. I think the fact that everyone started dying gives people an outlet to grieve our collective mortality."

Time for another binge.

'Bloody Ridiculous' BAFTA Winner is Back Very Soon with a Classic Horror Remix

Mon, 02/23/2026 - 9:57am

In less than two weeks' time, the mighty Jessie Buckley is back in cinemas with The Bride!

Written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, this Gothic crime romance set in 1930s Chicago finds Buckley's murder victim Ida reanimated by Frankenstein's monster (Christian Bale). Together, they embark on a violent mission to issue social change. The Bride! is scheduled for release on Friday, March 6, fresh off the Irish star's stellar night at the BAFTA Film Awards, where she clinched the Best Actress in a Leading Role gong for her performance in Hamnet.

Buckley beat Emma Stone (for Bugonia), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I'd Kick You), Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue) in her category.

Discussing his co-star in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bale waxed lyrical about the unique dynamism Buckley brings to the table. She actually plays three distinctive parts in The Bride!: author Mary Shelley, Ida, and the gun-toting, Rorschach-splashed Bride of Frankenstein.

"You recognize when there's the arrival of a person who is not business as usual," he said. "What she does is very serious, and in many ways sacred, but it's also bloody ridiculous and hilarious and raw and profane. It's everything that you want in a storyteller".

Their forthcoming movie also features the director's brother, Jake Gyllenhaal; Annette Bening, Peter Sarsgaard, and Penélope Cruz in the cast.

Meanwhile, here's what Buckley herself had to say on stage when compatriot Cillian Murphy handed her the prestigious golden mask on Sunday, February 22: "Wow, this is really such an incredible honor, and as a little girl I never in a million years thought I'd be allowed to make a film. Well, here I am. This really does belong to the women past, present, and future that have taught me and continue to teach me how to do it differently.

"I love what I do, I love cinema, I believe in storytelling to bring us together as a community. I believe in women's voices to tell those stories. I'd like to share this with my daughter, who's been with me since she was six weeks old on the road with this. It's the best role of my life being your mom and I promise to continue to be disobedient so that you can belong to a world in all your mad complex wildness as a young woman."

The Bride! hits the big screen on March 6.
