Miley Cyrus Spotted in Full 'Hannah Montana' Costume—and Fans Are Losing It
Miley Cyrus was headed back to her Disney star roots when she was spotted in that iconic blonde wig ahead of the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana.
Cyrus was giving us the best of both worlds over the weekend in Malibu, California, where she was in full costume, including a fuzzy black vest, form-fitting black denim skinny jeans, and layered gold belts that took us straight back to 2006.
In the photos you can see here, the "Flowers" singer was coolly leaning back against, as well as behind the wheel of, a black convertible in what looks like a promo shoot for the upcoming 20th anniversary special.
Hannah Montana fans are weighing in, and many are overwhelmingly excited about the upcoming milestone and the 20th anniversary special.
"I fear I will not recover 😭😭," one fan wrote after seeing Cyrus in costume.
Another shared, "Yesssss! I can't wait!"
"My childhood is back," another exclaimed.
'Hannah Montana' 20th Anniversary Gets Special AttentionThe Hannah Montana20th Anniversary Specialwill be produced by HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions. The look back after two decades will be hosted by Alex Cooperand features interviews, including Miley Cyrus. Fans will also be treated to never-seen-before archival footage.
Additionally, Disney+ subscribers will be treated to a nonstop marathon of all four seasons of Hannah Montana, as well as Hannah Montana: The Movie, and Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.
Ahead of the 20th anniversary, Cyrus said in a press release, "Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection."
View this post on InstagramShe continued, "The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of. This 'Hannahversary' is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years."
Miley Cyrus Allowed to Perform 'Hannah Montana' Songs AgainOne thing longtime fans may have noticed is that Miley Cyrus doesn't perform Hannah Montana songs in live shows.
Last year, while appearing on the Every Single Album podcast, the "Wrecking Ball" singer explained why she never belted out one of her Disney Channel hits, and why she can now if she wants to.
“After I left Disney, I wasn't allowed to perform any of the Hannah Montanamusic," Cyrus explained. "It’s not like I wanted to. I mean, performing ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ between ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’ wouldn’t have really made sense, but it was still sad knowing those songs have my voice, my face, and I wasn’t allowed to sing them."
Things have changed though, and Cyrus explains why she can sing her old hits if she wants to. She said, "After being inducted as a Disney Legend, I was given permission to perform those songs in the future, which is pretty cool."

Starbucks Jumps Into Spring With New Twist on a Popular Drink
Starbucks is taking its "instant hit" to the next level.
About two months ago, the international coffee chain revealed it had teamed up with MrBeast to launch a "bold" new beverage inspired by his controversial Prime reality competition series, Beast Games: Strong vs. Smart. Dubbed the Cannon Ball Drink, it certainly made a splash when it debuted as the company reports its become quite the fan-favorite—so much so, Starbucks is keeping it around longer than initially planned.
As if that wouldn't have been enough to satisfy fans, its also expanding its presence on the menu with two beverage spinoffs of its own: the Pink Cannon Ball Drink and Cold Foam Cannon Ball.
Starbucks Introduces New Pink Cannon Ball and Cold Foam Cannon Ball DrinksThe original Cannon Ball wasn't just inspired by the series, it was actually created on set according to the initial press release. The beverage features Starbucks’ “bold” and “tart” lemonade, with added flavors of Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers, and is then topped with fruit inclusions. It’s only available iced (prices may vary).

This new version has a brighter, juicier flavor profile with hints of berry, sweet strawberry and juicy mango, and hints of berry, the company said, noting it also offers a smoother, creamier body, when compared to the original.

The Pink Cannon Ball Drink will be made available at Starbucks locations nationwide beginning on Tuesday, March 3 (the same day its highly anticipated spring menu items become available).

Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson Are Planning an Anniversary Getaway
Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson are heading to Tokyo, Japan, to celebrate their first anniversary together with a five-day culinary getaway.
A Five-Day Tokyo Food AdventureFlay and Williamson told People that they plan to spend five days together in Tokyo, and Williamson is the one doing most of the planning.
"Brooke is so focused in on where we're eating," Flay noted.
He explained she was in charge of the itinerary in Tokyo. "So if you have any questions about what we're doing, you need to call her," Flay declared.
As People noted, the couple went public with their romance in March 2025. They have known one another for much longer than that, and have worked together for years. Until a year ago, however, their relationship was not romantic.

In fact, Flay has previously talked about how neither he or Williamson has any desire to get married again.
The pair talked with People while attending the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Williamson gushed over reconnecting with a lot of her culinary colleagues, but noted, "I get to be here with my adorable boyfriend, so that's fun, too."
Throughout the event in Miami, Williamson has shared tidbits with her Instagram followers. On February 22 she posted several photos and wrote, "Thank you @sobewff for another spectacular family reunion."

Jamie Foxx Questions Tourette’s Defense After John Davidson’s 'Racist' BAFTA Slur
The fallout from a shocking moment at the BAFTA Awards is still being talked about online—and Jamie Foxxis now weighing in.
During the Sunday, February 22 ceremony, as Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo took the stage to present the first award of the night, a man in the audience yelled the N-word. Lindo briefly paused before continuing on with the presentation. Host Alan Cumming later addressed the incident, explaining that the outburst was linked to John Davidson’s Tourette Syndrome.
“You may have noticed some strong language in the background,” Cumming told the audience. “This can be part of how Tourette’s syndrome shows up for some people as the film explores that experience. Thanks for your understanding and helping create a respectful space for everyone.” He later added, “Tourette’s Syndrome is a disability and the tics you’ve heard tonight are involuntary, which means the person who has Tourette’s Syndrome has no control over their language. We apologize if you are offended tonight.”
View this post on InstagramDavidson—who was diagnosed with Tourette’s at 25 and is the inspiration behind the BAFTA-winning biopic I Swear—reportedly left the ceremony on his own accord, according to Variety.
But Foxx made it clear he wasn’t convinced by the explanation. Under an Instagram post discussing the moment, he wrote, “Nah he meant that s**t.” He followed up with, “Out of all the words you could've said Tourette's makes you say that?”
The actor received a myriad of replies—many agreeing, while others claiming his response was ignorant.
“@iamjamiefoxx - I love you man, but you're wrong here. Go watch the film, and you will understand,” one exclaimed.
Another disagreed, writing, “Help us understand how he saw black dudes and just happened to use that word?? Why not any other word but that one.”
“Like seriously man go and research before you say something FFS!” a third wrote.
The incident cast a shadow over an otherwise historic night. Ryan Coogler became the first Black winner of Best Screenplay at the BAFTAs, using his acceptance speech to uplift fellow creatives. “For all the writers out there, when y’all look at that blank page, think of who you love, think of anybody who you’ve seen in pain that you identify with and wish they felt better and let that love motivate you,” he said. “I’ll be forever grateful for this, thank you all.”
Meanwhile, Sinners—represented by Jordan and Lindo—was nominated for 13 awards, with wins including Best Supporting Actress for Wunmi Mosaku and Best Original Score for Ludwig Göransson.
Marshalls' Perfect-for-Spring Kitchen Essential Is Flying Off Shelves at Just $20
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
As the frost of winter begins to recede, the home cook's focus naturally shifts toward the bright, revitalizing energy of spring. This season is defined by gathering—Sunday brunches that stretch into late afternoons, festive holiday lunches, and the simple joy of sharing a meal that feels as fresh as the garden outside. Hosting during this time of year often requires a delicate balance between high-quality presentation and the practical realities of a busy kitchen. We look for pieces that don't just serve a purpose but actually enhance the mood of the room, acting as functional decor that breathes life into a standard dining setup.
The modern kitchen enthusiast is increasingly moving away from utilitarian, uninspired cookware in favor of items that possess a "soul." There is a growing trend toward tablescapes that blend organic textures with whimsical, seasonal nods. When you are planning a menu featuring lemon-herb roasted chicken or a decadent berry cobbler, the vessel becomes just as important as the recipe. You want something that honors the tradition of home cooking while feeling contemporary and chic. The ideal kitchen-to-table transition should be effortless, allowing the host to remain present with their guests rather than fumbling with mismatched trivets and unsightly metal pans.

Tourette's Advocate John Davidson Breaks Silence Following BAFTAs Controversy
John Davidson is speaking out following an incident where he shouted a racial slur at Sinners actors Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo during the BAFTAs.
During the Sunday, Feb. 22 ceremony, Jordan and Lindo were presenting the award for Best Visual Effects when Davidson shouted the n-word. Davidson was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome, which symptoms include involuntary verbal and physical tics, as a child. He has been an outspoken advocate for the condition and was in attendance at the BAFTAs for the comedy-drama film I Swear based on his life.
On Monday, Feb. 23, Davidson shared a statement with Varietyaddressing the incident.
"I wanted to thank BAFTA and everyone involved in the awards last night for their support and understanding and inviting me to attend the broadcast. I appreciated the announcement to the auditorium in advance of the recording, warning everyone that my tics are involuntary and are not a reflection of my personal beliefs," Davidson said.
According to Variety, a stage manager had told the audience before the ceremony began that Davidson had Tourette's and that they may hear some "involuntary noises or movements."
At the time of the incident, host Alan Cumming addressed the audience saying, "You may have noticed some strong language in the background. This can be part of how Tourette’s syndrome shows up for some people, as the film explores that experience. Thanks for your understanding and helping create a respectful space for everyone."
Davidson continued in the statement, "I was heartened by the round of applause that followed this announcement and felt welcomed and understood in an environment that would normally be impossible for me. In addition to the announcement by Alan Cumming, the BBC and BAFTA, I can only add that I am, and always have been deeply mortified if anyone considers my involuntary tics to be intentional or to carry any meaning."
He then added, "I have spent my life trying to support and empower the Tourette’s community and to teach empathy, kindness and understanding from others and I will continue to do so. I chose to leave the auditorium early into the ceremony as I was aware of the distress my tics were causing."
The BBC issued a formal apology for not editing out the racial slur said by Davidson during the broadcast. Lindo also spoke out about the incident saying that he and Jordan "did what we had to do," but he wished "someone from BAFTA spoke to us afterwards."
BAFTA also released a statement apologizing for the incident saying they take, "full responsibility for putting our guests in a very difficult situation." They then apologized to Jordan and Lindo directly, writing, "We would like to thank Michael and Delroy for their incredible dignity and professionalism."
Natalie Anderson ‘Felt Super Disappointed’ by Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir’s Shocking 'Traitors' Blindside — And Reveals Where They Stand Now
The Traitors Season 4 has arrived! Throughout the season, Mike Bloom will speak with someone from the star-studded cast who was murdered or banished on the iconic Peacock reality series.
Among the "gamer" contingent of The Traitors Season 4, there was no twin to compare to Natalie Anderson. The Survivor winner has finished first and second in her two seasons on the show, and has also made memorable runs on The Amazing Race and The Challenge. So, heading into Scotland, she was eager to play what she calls an "aggressive Faithful game, utilizing her social skills and strategic expertise to hunt down the Traitors.
The first half of the season, Natalie's plan worked incredibly well. She followed her gut instinct on voting for Traitors like Donna Kelce and Lisa Rinna. She was not afraid to speak out after Michael Rappaport's controversial comment to Colton Underwood (a moment many Survivor fans were using to call back to her own war of words with John Rocker over a decade ago). And her physical prowess made her a great asset in the missions. It was all about to unravel, as it would for many, at the infamous "Black Banquet."
After Alan Cumming informed the group that one of them had been poisoned, Natalie made an immediate jump for one of two antidotes, believing she had been afflicted. The issue is, so did Tara Lipinski, who had feared the turkey had cooked her chances of survival. The two women argued back and forth before the figure skater finally abdicated, only for it to turn out to be all for naught when Yam Yam Arocho was the one actually poisoned. While Natalie had a clean bill of health, she had dirtied her reputation. Tara in particular was taken aback by her adamance to take the antidote, and began to actually suspect she could be a Traitor.
The morning of Episode 10, Rob Rausch woke up with a plan. Natalie, one of his biggest traitorous threats, needed to go. It just so happened, at the same time, Tara had woken up with an epiphany. Natalie was no longer her top suspect; Rob was. Seeking a reconciliation, she approached Natalie, and the two began to put a plan into motion to dump the Love Island alum. When the Round Table approached, Natalie asked Tara, "Did you vote for who I told you to vote for?" And, stunningly, she was met with silence. Whether it was indecision, being convinced by other arguments, or seeking to leave the spotlight, Tara went back on the planning they had done, saying she was no longer sure it was Rob. Other swing votes Johnny Weir and Mark Ballas agreed, laying the clear path for Rob to put Natalie in the line of fire. Suddenly, the Sri Lankan was on an island, as she was banished unanimously, betrayed by her "gamer" reputation. Natalie felt blindsided and demoralized, saying, "I put my guard down this morning. But obviously, I was taken advantage of."
Now out of the game, Natalie talks with Parade about her reaction to Tara and Johnny turning on her (and where they stand now), her relationship with Rob and how it changed
Related: Everything to Know About The Traitors Season 4
Let's start with where things end. It seemed like there was almost a pre-Tribal Council scramble before the Round Table, as you attempted to get the votes to take Rob out. So where did you think the votes were before you sat down? Did you think you had all four votes to take out Rob?
So I didn't think that I had Mark locked in. But I thought me, Johnny and Tara would be locked in. And then I thought, if we spoke our truth there, and we all just laid it out on the table, we would have definitely got Mark. Because he was already feeling these weird feelings towards Eric, they'd have that weird conversation, Rob and him. So I thought we could bring in Mark, like a 75% chance of bringing in Mark. And then worst case scenario, it's a tie with the f—king Dagger, and then we go to a revote.
That's what I thought I was going into. And, at that point, if we had laid it out like in my head, if we had just been so united as Faithfuls, I feel like we could have even flipped — we would have never flipped Maura. But maybe even have Eric be like, "I don't want to be on the wrong side of this vote." So that's I was thinking we could tie with Mark and then do a revote of me versus Rob, basically.
You are clearly taken aback at the Round Table when Tara and Johnny choose to not vote for Rob, saying, "I put my guard down this morning. But obviously I was taken advantage of." Talk to me more about your reaction in that moment.
A million things were going through my head. I was moody and being so angry, which I think is the worst place to be when you're at the Round Table, is to let anger be the overwhelming feeling. But for a millisecond, I was like, "Oh my gosh, she totally did this as a Traitor. She's so smart, and she did this with Rob." And then that faded really quick. And then I was just like, "You did all of this, and now you're starting off the Round Table by saying, 'You know what? I'm just not going to say anything because I've been so wrong. So I don't want to make any decisions today.'"
I was just so taken back. I did feel super disappointed. I felt so dumb for letting my guard down, for going in with this plan with somebody. And I invested all my conversations with her and Johnny, and didn't have conversations with Mark or with Eric or with Maura, or even with Rob, going into the Round Table. Because I was so invested in this, this glimmer of hope that I had of us doing something. Not only for myself, but for the Faithfuls as a unit, to be able to flip the game on its head, you know.
So I felt I felt really disappointed, and I did feel hurt in that moment, because it is really hard for me to trust all in these games and to be vulnerable. It's not something that comes easy for me. But I did that knowing that that's the name of being a Faithful. You have to be vulnerable, and you have to create these bonds with people. And I was so excited for us to do this. And then to have it kind of like taken away from me in that way, especially when everybody's against you, I felt like my back was against the wall. And that's when I got angry, and I was like, "I'm ready to fight. Somebody hold me back!"
Where do you currently stand with Tara and Johnny, especially now that you've gotten the chance to watch everything back?
Tara and me connected pretty fast. I think she was also very frazzled from that whole night, and we connected. And it is what it is. For me, yes, it's a game. But I'm still trying to forgive myself for things that I did in the game that I'm not I'm not super proud of. I wish I did better. I wish I stood up for myself better. So having the feelings that come with watching the show, they're gonna reignite.
But I have nothing against her as a person. It is a game, and it's isolated this castle. Unfortunately, the emotions of losing, for me, are tied into bigger feelings from Survivor and losing the $2 million. So for me, [it 's] the grieving process of losing. Even The Challenge, what I went through, it affects the way I process these things.
And I think I went out there different from Tara and Johnny. Tara and Johnny didn't care really too much about winning. And I think me winning means so much more, not only for myself, but also the money. And so I think there's a difference in how we process losing. I live a very normal life, and once in a while I get an awesome opportunity to go out there and physically, emotionally, mentally showcase what I can do. And as gamers, we have this pride in what we're able to do. And, like I said, I'm a high-caliber Survivor player; all of us out there are. And I think we play the game differently, and that's just like how it is. It's nothing against them. It's just me and some of the stuff I have to work through myself for not winning.
Your relationship with Rob is something that really wasn't highlighted until this episode. Talk to me more about that, and your comment this episode that you felt he had changed the past couple of rounds.
Well, Rob definitely shifted. There was this distance between us. And understand that, because, on Survivor, the day that I loaded up Baylor, I had kind of distanced myself. So it makes that part easier if you're going into a Tribal. And I knew that day what I was gonna do to her. It's not like I was buddy buddy with her all day. There's this way of kind of distancing yourself. So now it makes sense, and I truly felt that it wasn't just throwing something out there that didn't make sense.
I felt this distance between Rob. We had been pretty close the whole season. Obviously sucks that he was a Traitor, but it was all true. I felt that in that moment. And I was never mad at Rob. I knew. In my head, I was 99% sure he was a Traitor. But it didn't make me mad, because it made sense what he did. It didn't make sense what Johnny and Tara did, and that's what was frustrating. I can respect anything if it comes to game. But there was just no way you could reason what they did in that moment unless it was just for themselves. It wasn't for the the Faithful as a unit.
I want to go back to the "Black Banquet." You make this big push to drink the antidote and, after that, it feels like you start showing up on people's radars (most prominently Tara's). Talk to me about what happened in that moment. And were you aware you were being perceived like that afterwards?
I feel like until then, I was passing as somebody that could be trusted, despite being a gamer. And I think that after that, people just had this very different demeanor to me. I walked into the castle and everybody treated me differently. It just sucks that Tara and I did the same thing. But Tara is not looked at as like a villain, but I immediately am. I don't regret going for it. I think that I had such valid points. First of all, the gamers were all getting murdered. Why wouldn't I think that I was up for murder that night?
I just wish I owned it. I felt like I asked for permission, and that was the name of this game. I felt like I had to ask these people, "I need it. Can I take it?" And I wish I just was like, "Guys, I'm up for murder. Look at the what has happened. I feel like I need this. I'm drinking this. If one of you guys want to come and grab it for my hands and try and get it for me." I wish I did that, but I feel like that was when people were like, "Oh no, Natalie, she can't be trusted." And I got this cold shoulder from people. And that was that's really hard to work through with people and be like, "Let's build on something," when they're just like, "No, we have other people. You're not somebody that we want to work with."
You talk about all these golden opportunities you're presented with. Based on your Traitors experience, would you want to do more? I will note that nobody has appeared on all three of Survivor, Big Brother and The AmazingRace.
I mean, I would love to. Rachel Reilly and me were texting, because she's also probably thinking the same thing. Does Big Brother have a gym in the building?
They do!
Oh yeah, then I'm down for Big Brother. I can't do 90 days without a gym. I would literally just vote myself off. I would totally do Big Brother. I think they're casting now.
I think there's a positive and negative. I love being out there. There's something about the rush of playing these games that you really can't get anywhere else. It would be similar to an athele, where they have these opportunities and these championships. And I love playing it. I know that it comes with this negative, like, sometimes when you lose, it's really hard to go through that process. It affected my body multiple times in really drastic ways. But everything that I've gone through, I've been able to overcome. So I would be willing, let's see! Big Brother would be intense. I would have to get some notes from Tiffany. [Laughs.]
Timothée Chalamet Recalls His Co-Star's Gross 'Turd' Prank From the Set of Interstellar
At the time of Interstellar, Timothée Chalamet was not much of a name in Hollywood, but a young actor still finding his footing in the treacherous industry. Yet, he couldn’t escape receiving a warm departure (or rather, a stinky one) and a seal of approval from lead actor Matthew McConaughey – delivered in a gross and decidedly “turd-y” way.
In a town hall produced by Variety and CNN, where Chalamet and McConaughey reunited after many years, Chalamet recalled the grossest prank pulled by his co-star on the last day of filming, so much so that it left him feeling disrespected and scrambling to Christopher Nolan for answers.
Paramount Pictures/Warner Bros. Pictures
“I gotta say, my last day on Interstellar, I was sad to be leaving,” Chalamet recalled. “In my trailer, I went to the bathroom, and there was a huge turd in my toilet. I felt so disrespected.” Yes, an actual turd.
He added, “‘I know I’m not the star of this movie, but who’s coming in here?’”
Chalamet confronted crew members, wanting to know who had entered his trailer in his absence and “let it loose”. Eventually, he went up to Nolan, who ratted out Matthew. “I went up to Nolan, and he pointed to Matthew, and Matthew had this devilish grin on his face. I said, ‘Why’d you do that?’”
McConaughey had the hilarious reply up his sleeves: “In Texas, it’s a coming of age, baby.”
Funnily enough, the actors later referred to the feces as a “souvenir.”

Sharon Osbourne Says Her Relationship With Ozzy’s Ex-Wife and Older Children Is ‘Very Complex’
Sharon Osbourne admitted she has a “very complex” relationship with her late husband Ozzy’s ex-wife, Thelma Riley, and their kids. The late Black Sabbath rocker’s wife of more than 40 years appeared on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast on Feb. 21, where she opened up about her husband’s first family.
“Ozzy’s wife was married very early,” Sharon, 73, told host Bunnie XO. “She got pregnant very early, and she was married and had a child with somebody before she met Ozzy. So when Ozzym and her name is Thelma, got together, she had a five-year-old child, and they married. Ozzy was already in Black Sabbath, and they were just starting to break, and she was a student and they were young.”
“The pair of them were babies,” she continued. “And there's this young girl who had a baby, and she's a baby, and their lives just went in opposite directions. He was constantly on the road, and when he was home, he was drunk and acting…I can only imagine, and it fell apart. It couldn't stay together."
Sharon explained, "They were two totally different people that had two great kids. That was their connection was the kids, and I knew her, but we were so different. I was a big-mouthed flash kid, and she was a student. So I would come in a room and… you know, and she would look at me like ‘She's crazy. She's crazy.’ And I get it. So we had nothing in common other than I was always respectful to her because she was Ozzy's wife and they had their children together.”
Ozzy shared children Jessica and Louis with Thelma, and he adopted her son Elliott when they married in 1971. He welcomed three more kids, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, with Sharon following their 1982 wedding.
On the podcast, Sharon revealed that she remains close with one of Ozzy’s children from his first marriage: his son Louis, who sometimes appeared on the family’s MTV reality show The Osbournes. Louis was also included in the family’s death announcement when Ozzy died in July 2025, in a message signed, “Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
“I'm very close with Ozzy’s son,” Sharon told Bunnie XO, before hinting that she isn’t in touch with Ozzy’s daughter Jessica. “And you know, it's always the way the girls go with the moms, the guys, you know. And we have a great relationship and I adore him and my kids adore him. It's a unit, you know. “

Ozzy Osbourne admitted he was a bad husband and father to his older childrenOzzy addressed his relationship with his first wife in his 2009 memoir, I Am Ozzy. “I put that woman through it,” he wrote. “I should have never married her. She didn’t deserve it. She wasn’t a bad person, and she wasn’t a bad wife. But I was a f—ing nightmare.”
In a 2014 interview with The Daily Mail, he also said he regretted how he treated Sharon during his days of drinking and drugging.
“The way I treated both my wives... I was a bad father, an abusive husband, and I had an ego the size of India," he told the outlet. "I spent decades of my life being an absolute idiot. I’ve got so many regrets I can’t even remember half of them. But wives and kids are right at the top. It’s pointless even saying sorry. I couldn’t say it enough times. All I can do is stay sober."

'80s Rocker's 'Astonishing Autobiography' Dubbed Best Rock Memoir
With indecipherable lyrics like "Low brow is how / Swimming in the sound / Of bow wow wow" and a history of performing in nothing but a single, strategically-placed gym sock, Anthony Kiedisdoesn't immediately give off "refined, earnest author" vibes. Yet, the Red Hot Chili Peppersfrontman's autobiography is perhaps the most gripping memoir rock fans could read.
In the article "I read 47 rock memoirs…and ranked them from worst to best," BBC Music Magazine contributor Robin Askew dove through the eras of classic rock memoirs, from Yes'sSteve Howe'sAll My Yesterdays to Frank Zappa'sThe Real Frank Zappa Book to Ozzy Osbourne'sI Am Ozzy. And Kiedis's 2004 memoir, Scar Tissue, came in at No. 1.
"With this astonishing autobiography, the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was justly rewarded with a bestseller that appealed well beyond his band's fanbase," Scar Tissue goes behind the 'socks on c--ks' jollity to paint a genuinely hair-raising portrait of Kiedis's early life with his errant father Blackie and includes formative moments in his band – such as the death of guitarist Hillel Slovak – of which fans of the breakthrough Californication era may not be aware."
Kiedis and the RHCP released their self-titled debut album in 1984. Their fourth studio album, 1989's Mother's Milk, was their first major taste of commercial success (with hits like "Higher Ground," "Knock Me Down," and "Taste The Pain"). 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik elevated them to superstar status with songs like "Give It Away," "Under The Bridge," and "Breaking The Girl." But, as Scar Tissue recounts, Kiedis and crew struggled with drug addiction and fame, bringing them from the highest highs to the lowest lows.
Ian Hunter'sDiary of a Rock' n' Roll Star was no. 2, with Askew calling it "the one book that every aspiring rock musician should read," as the Mott the Hoople star strips away all the glamor of rock life while detailing the "drudgery" of being on tour.
At No. 3, Don Felder'sHeaven and Hell "lifts the lids on the rancor behind the Eagles' public-facing 'peaceful easy feeling', especially Glenn Frey and Don Henley's control freakery."
Robbie Robertson, who played with Bob Dylan and as part of The Band, comes in at no. 4 with Testimony, while Ozzy's I Am Ozzy is No. 5. David Crosby'sLong Time Gone is at No. 6, with Nick Mason of Pink Floyd coming in at No. 7 with his memoir, Inside Out.
The rest of the Top 10 includes Steven Tyler'sDoes the Noise in My Head Bother You?, Beewing by Richard Thompson (of folk rock group Fairport Convention) at No. 9, and Bob Dylan'sChronicles Volume One at No. 10.
Oddly enough, Rolling Stone's Rob Sheffield ranked Dylan's Chronicles Volume 1 as the Greatest Rock Memoir of All Time when he compiled his list in 2020. He put Scar Tissue at No. 15.

Now, taste is a bit subjective. And here are only three entries are by women: Suzi Quatro'sUnzipped, (No. 37) Ann and Nancy Wilson'sKicks and Dreaming (No. 19) and Rose Simpson of the Incredible String Band's Muse, Odalisque, Handmaiden (No. 15). Being that this list covered metal, Lita Ford'sLiving Like a Runaway, Cherie Currie'sNeon Angel, and Joan Jett's Bad Reputation could have expanded the list to an even 50.
If expanding the list to include a more diverse range of music genres, there's Chuck Berry: The Autobiography, Alice Bag'sViolence Girl, Ronnie Spector'sBe My Baby, Kid Congo Powers' Some New Kind of Kick or Rankin' Roger'sI Just Can't Stop It.
Which is all to say, you should head to your local library and check out a rock memoir today. And comment what you think is the best rock memoir below.

Everything to Know About Kelly Clarkson's Kids With Late Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock
Kelly Clarkson's world changed forever in August 2025 when her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, died at age 48 after a three-year battle with cancer. But perhaps no one feels this loss more deeply than the two children they shared: 11-year-old River Rose and 9-year-old Remy.
The young siblings, who have lived primarily with their mother since Clarkson and Blackstock's 2022 divorce, now face the unimaginable reality of growing up without their father. Luckily, they have a massive support system with their mom and plenty of other people who love and care about them.
Here's what we know about Kelly Clarkson's children as they navigate this devastating loss.

River Rose Blackstock, 11Born on June 12, 2014, River Rose is Clarkson's eldest child and only daughter. The tween has been following in her famous’ mom’s footsteps for quite a while, appearing on the deluxe version of Clarkson's 2023 album "Chemistry" with backup vocals on the track "You Don't Make Me Cry."
River Rose has also expressed interest in songwriting, telling her mom on The Kelly Clarkson Show in January 2025 that she spends "hours and hours and hours singing, trying to do a song" in her room. Like mother, like daughter!
The preteen has also made several public appearances with her mom, including at the 2022 People's Choice Awards where she served as Clarkson's date for the evening. She's also performed onstage during her mother's Las Vegas residency, singing a duet of "Heartbeat Song" with Clarkson. So cute!
Remington 'Remy' Alexander Blackstock, 9Born on April 12, 2016, Remy is—surprise, surprise—also deeply into music. He went viral in 2024 after performing Frank Sinatra's "My Way" for a live audience on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The 9-year-old has shown he's serious about performing, even telling an interviewer at the 2024 Grammy Awards that he wants "Remington Alexander" to be his stage name. So official!
View this post on InstagramHe also loves to mix it up and keep things adventurous. Unlike his sister, who was initially hesitant about their family relocating from Los Angeles to New York City for their mother's talk show, Remy was all about the move.
Clarkson shared on the "Las Culturistas" podcast that her son "loves the chaotic energy" of NYC and was ready to leave LA behind.

How did the children cope with their parents' divorce? The Clarkson-Blackstock divorce was finalized in March 2022, with the children living primarily with their mom. Clarkson has been open about the challenges of helping her kids through the separation.
"We have a lot of help as far as therapists or child psychologists because we want to do it right," Clarkson told Extra. "I definitely want to do it right. Everyone's sad and it's okay to be sad."
Recently, Clarkson opened up about the realities of co-parenting with Blackstock on Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast. She discussed the "mom guilt" she experiences when unable to attend school functions and talked about the challenges of single motherhood.
"There's a lot that I keep in because co-parenting is fun," Clarkson said, acknowledging the difficulties while also being super clear about her commitment to doing what's best for River Rose and Remy.
Clarkson has also been protective of her children's privacy regarding family matters, sharing on Today in 2023: "There's plenty that I will never talk about because you shouldn't and that's a personal thing between me and my ex and also me and my children, that relationship."
How did Kelly Clarkson choose her children's names? View this post on InstagramHer daughter River Rose got her name because of where they live. "We live on a river, so we're very original with that," Clarkson said. She liked that River could work for either a boy or girl.
Her son's name happened by accident during lunch one day. Before Clarkson was even pregnant with her second kid, she and her friends were talking about baby names.
"We were at a lunch and I wasn't even pregnant yet, I was like 'Man, if we have another kid, we'd want an 'R' name,'" she said. "I think it was my nanny and assistant who shouted out Remington and we were like 'Ooo.'"
Everyone calls him "Remy" though, because Clarkson says the full name doesn't really match his “chill” personality. She jokes that "if he ever wants a real job one day, he can use Remington." (Which, as we just learned, is already in the works as his stage name!)

Both of Clarkson's kids have dealt with some tough health and school issues that needed extra help.
Remy's hearing and speech problemsWhen Remy was little, he couldn't hear or talk properly because his ears were clogged up with wax. His parents didn't realize what was wrong at first. "He had a speech problem because he had this ear problem when he was a baby. We didn't know," Clarkson explained. "He spoke as if he was underwater."
This made him about nine months behind other kids his age in talking. Once they fixed the problem, though, Remy caught up quickly. Clarkson was absolutely thrilled: "The fact that he's making full sentences now and full-on engaging with us is really a blessing."
River Rose's reading struggles and bullyingRiver Rose has dyslexia, which makes reading harder for her than other kids. Unfortunately, this pretty predictably led to some bullying at school.
Things got better when actor Henry Winkler appeared on her mom's show. He also has dyslexia and told River, "How you learn has nothing to do with how brilliant you are." (And this is why we all love Henry Winkler!)

How has Clarkson supported her children through difficult times?TheAmerican Idol winner has always prioritized her kid's well-being. She actually postponed her Las Vegas residency dates in August to be present for River Rose and Remy during this difficult time.
"While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them," Clarkson shared on Instagram in August 2025.

The Clarkson family now faces the challenge of moving forward without Brandon Blackstock, but with River Rose and Remy surrounded by love and professional support, they have the foundation they need to heal and grow.

We Asked Milo Ventimiglia About a 'Gilmore Girls' Return—Here's What He Told Us (Exclusive)
On October 30, 2001, Milo Ventimiglia debuted as Luke's rebellious nephew Jess in Season 2 of Gilmore Girls. Now, more than 25 years later, millions of fans are discovering the show via streaming. In fact, Netflix reports that during the first half of 2025, Season 1 was streamed for more than 75 million hours!
Since turning Rory's world upside-down as Jess, Ventimiglia has gone on to star in other cultural phenomenons—including Heroes, This Is Us and the Rocky franchise. His latest film—I Can Only Imagine 2—is in theaters now and marks the actor's musical debut. In the faith-based sequel, Ventimiglia stars as real-life Christian singer-songwriter Tim Timmons—who profoundly impacts the life of MercyMe frontman Bart Millard after being diagnosed with incurable cancer.
Parade joined the actor for an exclusive chat about the movie. But after seeing that his onscreen wife is played by fellow Gilmore Girls' alum Arielle Kebbel—known in Stars Hollow circles as Lindsay Lister—we simply had to ask if he would be down to return for more episodes of the beloved series. (The actors' respective arcs included one scene together in Season 3—where Jess famously mocks Lindsay's musical taste before getting into a huge fight with Dean.)
Read on to see what the This Is Us star said about stepping back into Stars Hollow—and if he still tunes into the show.
In 2016, Ventimiglia famously reprised his role in the first Netflix revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The limited series consisted of four episodes—around 90 minutes each—and his character returned for two: "Summer" and "Fall." Now that it's been almost a decade since A Year in the Life, fans want to see the story continue—especially after that window scene. The question is: Does he?
The answer is a resounding yes—but there's one caveat. "I'm not the dude in charge of that," Ventimiglia tells Parade. "Amy Sherman-Palladino [and] Dan Palladino—they're the ones. And of course, whenever—whenever they would call, I will always say yes. So if you want to plead to them, that's where the real request lies." (Amy created Gilmore Girls and both served as Executive Producers.)
