Amy Adams, the iconic actress who starred in fan-favorite films like Arrival and Enchanted, recently spoke with S Magazineas their summer 2026 cover star. During the interview, the actress, who is now 51, spoke about the benefits of aging.

“I feel more centered than I ever have,” she said. “I think part of that is just being able to look back and be really grateful for what I’ve been able to do. And then look forward with a lot of excitement for what’s to come.”

She continued, “I just try to hold opportunity with both hands open and not try to fight so much. It’s nice. It’s a very freeing part of aging, for me, anyway. Just letting go.”

Adams attributed her “groundedness” to the fact that most of her success came when she was in her thirties. “I think coming into the busier, more forward-facing times in my career, I was already into my thirties," she said. "I came in with my husband already [and] with my friend group. I just kept living.”

She also spoke about her age with PEOPLE at the premiere of Nightbitch shortly after celebrating her 50thbirthday. "I feel wonderful at 50," she said in the 2024 interview. "I know everyone's like, 'Oh, it's 50.' And I'm like, I feel great. I feel very grateful, just very centered and happy to be here. Really grateful.”

However, Adams hasn't always been this comfortable with her age. In 2014, she spoke with Vogue about being in her 40s and still caring what others thought about her. "I had this expectation of what I would be by this age," she said. "It wasn’t, 'Oh, I’m getting old and I’m going to lose something vibrant about myself.' It was more that I was just 'so disappointed with myself.' It’s just awful. Any chance for self-loathing.”

She continued, "It feels like I worry about everything—mothering, relationships... I think it’s because I want to continue to grow; I don’t like being stagnant. Especially when you watch how fast children grow, and what they take into their soul and their intellect. It’s like we make this decision to stop growing. I don’t want to do that."

Adams will be starring in the upcoming Apple TV series, Cape Fear, along with Javier Bardem. It will be streaming starting on June 5.

John Krasinskimay be one of Hollywood’s busiest stars, but when it comes to balancing his career with caring for his two daughters with wife Emily Blunt, he doesn’t have to think very hard about where his priorities lie. 

“Honestly, the simple answer is ‘kids and family first,’” Krasinski said in an interview with CBS Morning. “One of us is always home with the kids. And listen, we bring those kids wherever we’re shooting and wherever we can spend time with them."

In the event his little ones can’t join their dad on set, he’s sure to make his way to them. When he was shooting the first season of Jack Ryan, for instance, he’d fly every weekend from Montreal to London — where Blunt was shooting Mary PoppinsReturns — to see his girls. 

“Family for me, it’s a non-negotiable thing,” he told People. “So if I’m honest, I was shooting 6,000 miles away from them, and I flew back every single weekend.”

Sharing his eldest kid’s reaction to The Officeon The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, he said, “They were watching the first episode and my oldest — turns out she’s a screen talker — she’s talking to the screen, and so when Steve [Carrell] fired Jenna [Fischer] she goes, ‘What are you doing? You’re a horrible person!’”

“I think the biggest difference [between having two kids versus one] is when you have one and you want to take a break or are tired, you get to pass the baby off,” Krasinski once shared. “And now when you have two, if you pass one off, you get another one right back.”

Kenny Chesney has officially reached one of the biggest milestones in country music history.

The country superstar just earned his 100th career entry on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart thanks to his new single “Carry On,” which debuted at No. 31 on the May 23 chart.

The achievement places Chesney in extremely rare company among country artists.

According to Billboard, only a handful of artists in the chart’s nearly seven-decade history have reached 100 or more hits on Hot Country Songs. Those artists are George Jones, who leads all artists wtih 157 songs charted. Morgan Wallen is second with 119, and Taylor Swift is third with 108.

“Carry On” also marks an important new chapter in Chesney’s career.

The song is his first release for Hey Now Records, the new Nashville-based label launched earlier this year by longtime music executives Clint Higham, John Esposito and Kris Lamb. The track will appear on Chesney’s upcoming 21st studio album, due later this year.

The milestone underscores just how durable Chesney’s chart success has been.

His first Billboard country hit, “Whatever It Takes,” arrived back in 1993. More than three decades later, Chesney is still one of country music’s most reliable hitmakers, with 55 top-10 songs and 23 No. 1 hits on Hot Country Songs.

His dominance at country radio is even bigger.

Billboard noted that Chesney now also has 100 entries on the Country Airplay chart, tying him with George Strait for the most appearances in the chart’s history. Chesney additionally holds the all-time record for the most Country Airplay No. 1 hits with 33.

Over the years, Chesney evolved from a traditional country newcomer into one of the genre’s defining modern superstars.

After releasing his debut album In My Wildest Dreams in 1994, Chesney broke through with late-1990s hits like “She’s Got It All,” “How Forever Feels” and “You Had Me From Hello” before becoming one of the biggest touring acts in country music history.

Mountain Home, Arkansas is an Affordable Spot for Retirees With No Savings

The experts at GoBankingRatescompiled a list of the most affordable retirement destinations across the U.S. for seniors who haven't been able to save much. According to the publication, one town topped its list thanks to its affordability.

Those living in Mountain Home, Arkansas, can get by on an average of $19,446.91. That's really affordable when you consider the fact that the average Social Security recipient receives $2,071 a month as of January 2026, according to the Social Security Administration. That adds up to $24.852 a year, leaving Mountain Home residents with about $5,405.09 in their pockets after all their essentials are paid for, giving them a little extra cash to save, invest, or even splurge.

What Makes Mountain Home so Affordable

Retirees looking to make a move here will have no trouble finding a place to live. That's because Zillow says the average home value is $234,815 as of April 30, 2026, which is almost half the national average.

Property taxes shouldn't be a problem here either, since tax rates are low at just .53 percent according to GoBankingRates. Groceries and utilities also remain low, at $4,729.32 and $4,164.87 per year, respectively.

And retirees won't be alone here, since 29.9 percent of the population is aged 65 or older, according to the publication.

Does pickle juice really work? Bede Christey, Lead Physiotherapist at Auckland FC, said in a press release, “Cramps can come on quickly and stop a player in their tracks. Pickle juice is an option for us when cramps strike, and having it readily available on the sideline just makes sense.” 

While the McDonald’s-sports team combo might seem pretty obvious in light of Christey’s statements, Simon Kenny, Head of Communications at McDonald’s New Zealand, also explained, “We kept spotting players reaching for pickle juice during games and thought, why not lean into it? At the same time, we’ve got plenty of pickle juice in our kitchens. This felt like a simple way to connect the two.” 

Kenny continued, “If our leftover pickle juice helps keep players moving, whether they’re playing professionally or with their mates on the weekend, then we’re all for it.”

While American McDonald’s stores haven’t jumped on the pickle-drink-for-pros bandwagon yet, there’s always time. Gatorade or leftover pickle brine? While the zesty juice sounds like an interesting option, maybe stick with something sweeter.

A Sign of the Times

Last year, paint manufacturer Sherwin-Williams and Drexel University both paused their 401(k) contributions, but both were back to contributing within a year. Recently, technology services and outsourcing firm TTEC notified employees that the employer match would be paused.

On April 30th, the Austin, TX-based company that employs 16,000 people said in a memo to employees that it would pause employer match for at least 9 months, Fortune Magazine reported in a recent article. TTEC’s chief people officer, Laura Butler, stated that it hopes to resume the 3% match after that time as long as “the business performance supports it.”

This Isn’t the End

Most companies that pause contributions eventually resume contributions, but it doesn’t mean it’s the same as before. When IBM resumed employee retirement contributions, it moved to a Retirement Benefit Account (RBA) while also allowing employees to continue contributing to 401(k)s. 

Just because your employer stops doing a match doesn’t mean you need to stop contributing. If you can afford to, continuing to save in your 401(k) is a positive step toward your future.

Other Options For Your Money

If you’re concerned about your funds, rolling your 401(k) into a Roth IRA might be a good idea. Unlike your 401(k), when you draw from the Roth IRA in your retirement, you usually won’t pay taxes if you meet the requirements. To roll your 401(k) into a Roth IRA, you’ll likely need to have left the job, although there are some exceptions.

If you want to diversify your retirement income, advisors like Dave Ramsey encourage you to invest in good growth stock mutual funds rather than traditional stocks. Having a healthy portfolio with a variety of funds can safeguard against problems like this when an employer stops contributions. If you’ve never consulted a financial advisor before, it may be time to explore what one can do for you.

While it’s likely that TTEC will resume its 401(k) match by early 2027, it’s still disheartening as an employee to see a promise on hold. As our economy continues to struggle and Americans feel the squeeze, there are still steps you can take to protect your future.

Jeff Bezos Says the Bottom 50 Percent of Earners Shouldn't be Taxed

Bezos made the stunning claim while sitting on the factory floor of his Blue Origin facility, while speaking with CNBC. The Amazon founder got right down to business in the interview, explaining how it was absurd to make some of the lowest-earning Americans pay income taxes.

This is because the top 1 percent of taxpayers are responsible for generating 40 percent of tax revenue, while the bottom half accounts for about 3 percent. "I don’t think it should be 3 percent," he said. "I think it should be zero." According to CNBC, the bottom half has an adjusted gross income (AGI) of around $54,000. Meanwhile, the top 1 percent have around 676,000.

"You have a bunch of people in this country who are doing really well, but you have a bunch of people in this country who are struggling," Bezos continued. "Some people talk about making the tax system more progressive. How about we start by having the nurse in Queens [who makes $75,000 a year] not pay taxes?"

Some Lawmakers Have Similar Proposals in the Works

While it may seem like a far-fetched idea to allow those making the least among us to keep more of their hard-earned cash in their pockets, some states are already trying to do just that.

On Mar. 9, 2026, Cory Booker announced a proposal called the "Keep Your Pay Act," which would allow people to keep the first $75,000 of their earnings outright when they file jointly. This means that people making $75,000 or less would pay no federal income tax, and those making more than that would pay tax only on earnings above $75,000.

During a time when it can cost the average driver $100 to fill up their gas tanks, and a weekly grocery store haul looks more like a car payment than a food run, a tax cut like this could be life-changing for Americans.

Of course, whether or not we ever get to see something like this actually happen remains to be seen. However, until then, I know I will be daydreaming about the possibility of a tax holiday for my family and me, since it could make a real difference in our household budget.

Reflecting on the Drowning Death of His Daughter

The documentary also provides Dern an opportunity to reflect on the tragic death of his oldest daughter, Diane Elizabeth, who drowned in a pool at 18 months old in 1962, PEOPLE shared. Diane Elizabeth was his first daughter with ex-wife Diane Ladd, who died in 2025.

"My wife was at a Dodgers game; I was at a track meet at the Coliseum," Bruce recalls in the film. "I was told over the loudspeaker to go to the desk, and some plainclothes cop said to me, 'Are you Bruce Dern?' And I said 'Yes,' and he said, 'You should go home right now, because your child just drowned in a swimming pool.' "

The little girl had used a spoon to open a lock on a gate that allowed her to access the family's pool while the maid was answering a phone call.

"Because Diane and I shared a tragedy, we stayed together longer than we should have, but out of it, five years later, came Laura," Bruce said in the film. "About a month later, it was over for Diane and I, and we never really talked it out. She wasn't there. I wasn't there.”

In 1971, a catchy rock song with deceptively upbeat melodies became one of the most controversial hits on American radio.

"Timothy" by The Buoys turned into a surprise national hit despite being banned by multiple radio stations over its dark and provocative lyrics.

At first glance, the song sounded like many other early-1970s rock singles. But listeners soon realized something far stranger was happening beneath the surface.

Written by songwriter Rupert Holmes, years before he became famous for "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)," "Timothy" tells the story of trapped miners struggling to survive after a cave-in.

As the song unfolds, one miner named Timothy mysteriously disappears, strongly implying that the survivors resorted to cannibalism in order to stay alive.

"[Holmes] and our producer, Michael Wright, kind of dreamed up this situation of three little boys playing in a mine and all of a sudden one fell down and they never hear from him again and then the rumors start flying as far as 'Was it cannibalism?'" recalled band member Jerry Hludzik in an interview with Classic Bands.

That shocking interpretation immediately sparked controversy.

Some radio stations banned the song outright after recognizing the implied meaning, while others refused to discuss its lyrics publicly. The controversy only intensified interest in the single, with many curious listeners buying the record simply to understand why it was causing such outrage.

Ironically, the bans helped fuel the song's popularity.

Despite resistance from broadcasters, "Timothy" climbed the charts and became the biggest, and ultimately only major, hit for The Buoys, cementing the band's place in music history as a classic one-hit wonder.

"When a kid is twelve or thirteen or fourteen and you tell him not to listen to something like this, they're gonna listen," said Hludzik. "They're not gonna listen to their parents. They're gonna listen to this song that's disgusting, but it's cool, man."

The song's dark premise stood out dramatically from much of the lighter rock and pop music dominating radio at the time. Its unsettling ambiguity also helped it linger in listeners' minds long after hearing it.

Over the years, "Timothy" developed a cult following among fans of unusual and controversial songs from the 1970s. Its mixture of catchy harmonies and disturbing storytelling gave it a uniquely bizarre place in rock history.

For Rupert Holmes, the song also became an early sign of his talent for narrative songwriting, something he would later perfect with his own chart-topping hits.

"People think I should be embarrassed by this song, but I'm so proud," Holmes told Rolling Stone. "We had this one last gasp with the Buoys and Michael said, 'What are we going to do?' And I said, 'You should record a song that gets banned.' He said, 'Will you write one?' And I said yes."

More than 50 years later, "Timothy" remains one of the strangest songs ever to become a mainstream hit, a one-hit wonder that proved controversy could sometimes drive a song straight up the charts.

Beyond The Gates fans were stunned today as this first major death of the year took place as the Impaler storyline ramped up.

When 2026 began, the CBS soap opera launched a topical storyline about an illegal organization targeting the residents of Fairmont Crest through an illegal plasma ring.

The storyline kicked off as Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibrie Hordges) discussed a story that investigative journalist Smitty was working on. As things progressed, Smitty and Jacob focused on uncovering the organization's structure.

Smitty explained he believed the hierarchy starts with “The Impaler,” whom he describes as “brutal.” He then identifies a potential “Underboss.” The third tier includes Ren Tolliver (Donny Carrington), whom Jacob has already encountered. According to Smitty, Ren oversees the “soldiers” responsible for carrying out orders, including those tasked with procuring blood, while couriers operate at the lowest level of the organization.

Since the beginning of the storyline, Jacob has gone undercover working for Ren as “Rishad”. Throughout his journey, he identifies lab tech Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) as a courier at the hospital who obtains Plasma and delivers it to the ring.

Jacob eventually confronted Grayson and got him to admit who he was working for. Grayson reveals that his boss is Grayland Memorial Chief of Staff Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht).

Now the night of the cotillion, the “vips” of the blood ring are making their move. Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) caught Grayson stealing plasma from the free clinic. Grayson claims that he is doing this to keep Derek's ex, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob), safe, but Derek doesn’t believe him and follows him to the warehouse to make the drop.

While at the warehouse, Jacob spots Derek and forces him to stay hidden and safe. Lia confronts Rishad, and Jacob’s true identity is revealed. When Ren gets spooked and orders Rishad to kill Grayson, Jacob attempts to place Ren under arrest, but a shootout occurs.

The police stormed the premises and attempted to help, but Derek was shot in the incident. He was rushed to Garland Memorial Hospital, but despite the doctor's best efforts, he did not survive and died during surgery.

This is the second major death to have occurred in Beyond the Gates following the alleged death of Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham) in September of last year.

People who rely on Social Security benefits to survive are already facing significant challenges. Not only is the average payout too low for most people to survive on, but the fund that keeps the money flowing is predicted to run out within the next decade.

Now, Social Security recipients may be facing a new struggle, as a proposed rule change could kick almost 400,000 recipients out of the program. The rule change has been submitted by the Social Security Administration (SSA) and is currently under review. Social Security Rule Change Would Hurt the Most Vulnerable

The SSA's proposal would impose a limit on which types of benefits can be counted toward public income maintenance (PIM) payments, which is part of the qualification used to determine who is eligible for Social Security Income (SSI).

According to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget statement, the proposal includes rescinding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) from the list of qualifying PIMs.

"We further propose to adopt our former longstanding definition of a public assistance household, according to which every household member has to receive a PIM payment for the household to constitute a public assistance household," the statement says. This change would dramatically impact recipients who live with family or friends, especially those who are receiving benefits as part of a disability or diagnosis.

Why Does the SSA Want to Cut Benefits

It sounds like the rapidly diminishing Social Security funds are behind the change. That's because NJ.com says the administration could drastically reduce the amount of money it pays recipients under this rule change, effectively helping fund the SSA just a little bit longer.

As such, 277,000 SSI recipients and 109,000 people who would be eligible to receive SSI in 2033 would be booted from the program. Unfortunately, the publication estimates that these cuts would harm the most vulnerable among us the most, and likely impact people who have to live with friends or family because they cannot afford to live on their own, or otherwise cannot take care of themselves, as it would take the income and assets of those whose homes they live in (and who are likely caregivers) and use it as part of their benefit determination.

While the Trump administration defends this decision and says it will “promote program integrity,” critics think that it will actually strip benefits from those who need the money the most, especially in cases where these recipients can't otherwise go out and get jobs or make a living wage so that they can afford to live on their own.

The proposal is still under review, and there doesn't appear to be any timeline on when a decision is expected to be made.

For the fourth consecutive year in a row, Dolly Parton's iconic Southern theme park Dollywood has taken home the grand prize for the best theme park in the country, as revealed in the 40th annual survey by the National Amusement Park Historical Association.

The news arrives via an official press release shared by Dollywood with us over email. Per the NAPHA Amusement Park and Attractions Survey's results, 2026 marks the fourth time in a row that the beloved theme park has been named the top park in the nation.

While most people might readily know either Walt Disney World in Florida or California's Disneyland as the most famous theme park in the world, Dollywood has maintained a distinguished place at the forefront of the park industry, as evidenced by its numerous awards and high year-round attendance rates.

Previously, the Tennessee-based park came out on top as the nation's favorite theme park in the annual NAPHA survey, sharing the top spot with notable competitors Disneyland and Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia back in 2021.

In the years since, Dollywood has regularly come out as the crown winner in the NAPHA survey, leaving its fan-favorite reputation among visitors beyond scrutiny.

Since opening in 1986 as the rebranded Dollywood, Parton's theme park has grown to encompass over 50 rides and attractions, including 10 roller coasters, two water slides and dozens of worthwhile eateries and restaurants, several of which are modeled after the park's legendary founder, Dolly Parton.

In more recent years, Dollywood has accrued a steady amount of awards for its various theme park offerings, with Tripadvisor naming it the #1 theme park in the U.S. for 2025, 2024 and 2022.

Along with being named the country's best theme park by the NAPHA last year, it also won three Golden Ticket Awards for Best Guest Experience, Best Kids’ Area and Best Family Coaster.

SPOILER ALERT! The following includes events from the series finale of The Boys. Don’t read further if you don’t want to be spoiled about all things “supe” and otherwise.

After five seasons of supes, exploding heads and enough over-the-top chaos to make Vought proud, The Boys finally reached its endgame. Homelander (Antony Starr) met his fate, Butcher (Karl Urban) crossed a line he couldn’t come back from and Hughie found himself at the center of the show’s most emotional moment. But according to showrunner Eric Kripke, that heartbreaking final showdown wasn’t a last-minute idea — it had been part of the plan from the very beginning. 

Parade spoke exclusively with Kripke about the finale’s biggest twists, Homelander’s downfall and why the series had secretly been building toward Hughie vs. Butcher all along.

Hughie says it outright in that final scene with Butcher: “This is it. This is the moment.” Was that confrontation always the emotional endgame of The Boys? Because in a lot of ways, it felt like the moment the entire series had been building toward.
That's 100% correct. So thank you for noticing. We didn't know a lot as we were starting the show, but that scene, that moment, we knew from page one of the pilot, and we've been building to it for seven years. Really, the secret conflict of the show has been Huey (Jack Quaid) versus Butcher (Karl Urban). Is Butcher going to pull Huey into the darkness, or is Huey going to pull Butcher into the light? And that Butcher, for all of his faults and sociopathy, knows enough about himself that he needs an external conscience to pull him back from the brink. That's what he had in his little brother, that's why we set up that relationship and now it's Huey's job.

So I think it's always been there, and it was just such a pleasure and satisfying to finally pay off breadcrumbs and threads we've been planting for years, years, and years. But it wouldn't have been anything if it wasn't the way Jack and Karl played it. I mean, it's some of my favorite acting from Karl. He so crushes that moment and he makes it heartbreaking, but also weirdly heartwarming and noble. Those two in real life are such close friends that you just really feel the love between them in that. And I was thrilled with how that turned out.

It was wild seeing Homelander go from this untouchable, all-powerful figure to someone panicking, bargaining for his life. Even the tone of his voice changes. What went into crafting that reversal and deciding that this was the way that Homelander finally loses?
We just thought it was too delicious to pass up seeing Homelander without his powers just for a moment. And it's been built in since certainly the beginning of this season. A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) says to him in the first episode, "Take away those powers and what are you?" Over and over again throughout the season, people keep saying to him, "Deep down underneath without the powers, you're nothing." And we wanted to demonstrate that when you take them away, he's a blubbering coward. I would also point out, so are most strong men and autocrats when you finally take their power away, you suddenly reveal how small and pathetic they are and what cowards they are. Very few of them go out with dignity, very few. And so we wanted to demonstrate that for Homelander as well.

Butcher has his own breaking point in the finale after losing Ryan and his dog, Terror. If he had something that he could still hold onto, do you think Butcher ever goes through with trying to release the sup virus, or was that something he was always going to do?
I think if Ryan (Cameron Crovetti) had stuck with him, he might've made a different choice. I think if Terror had lived, he might've made a different choice. But I think Terror especially, we've made such a point this season of making Terror the last vestige of Butcher's humanity. And so with the dog dying, so dies one of the last sparks of Butcher. It's also a moment from the comic, by the way. For people who are horrified that we killed the dog, rest assured, it's so much kinder and more respectful than how the dog dies in the comic, but it serves the same purpose, which is Terror's death sends Butcher off the deep end.

How much of Ryan rejecting Homelander earlier in the episode was still rattling around in his head when he saw the word "father" and completely unraveled during his speech?
I mean, a lot of it. I think what sends Homelander off the deep end is being triggered by the word "father." He's had real problems with fathers and sons in this season. His family keeps abandoning him and he's too narcissistic to understand why, but it's really painful to him. He's this guy who calls himself a god, but he's really a vulnerable, needy narcissist who needed more hugs from his family. And so the fact that both his father and son have denied him is a real open wound for him. So when he sees that "father" moment during the speech, it really sends him off into a dark place.

The series ends with Huey and Annie getting something as close to a happy ending as this show allows. Should we assume that the baby is going to have powers?
I don't think the baby has powers. I think everyone can think what they want. But Ryan has been, in the world of the show, the only kid who was ever born with powers, and he was sort of a freak in that way. Every other kid has to be injected. And I like to think that Huey and Annie (Erin Moriarty) have learned their lesson and are not going to inject baby Robin. But hey, DM me your fanfiction in which they do and obviously take the story wherever you like.

One last quick thing. Where could I get a Deep popcorn bucket? 
You'll have to make them. There's two that exist in reality. One is right outside my office door and David Reed, the episode's writer, has one in his house. And I don't know, man, that's rare. Supply and demand. That could be an expensive deal.

Ahead of his upcoming musical comedy Power Ballad, Paul Rudd opened up to E! News about what it was really like working with Jonas Brothers heartthrob Nick Jonas. It turns out, connecting on the set of Power Ballad was “really easy” for our new favorite duo.

“You know, it’s funny,” Rudd said at the premiere of Power Ballad in New York City. “There’s a scene in the movie where [our characters] kind of first meet and hang out and start, you know, kind of jamming and writing together, and that was the first thing that Nick and I shot together. And so we were kind of getting to know each other as people, while we’re getting to know each other as characters. And it really was, it just, it felt really easy. We kind of clicked right away.”

Power Ballad follows two musicians who meet at a wedding at an Irish castle, Variety reported. Rudd’s character, Rick Power, fronts a band called the Bridge and Groove, playing wedding gigs now and then. Nick Jonas’ character, Danny Wilson, was once a boy-band star, but missed his chance to start a solo career. Together, the two develop a friendship.

Rudd said that filming Power Ballad was his first time meeting Jonas, and he “didn’t know him at all.”

“He put me at ease, certainly,” Rudd said. “I mean, he’s the real deal. That’s a little nerve-racking to kind of do that with somebody who does [music] for a living. But he was great, and it was really fun.”

Power Ballad will have a limited release on May 29, then expand to theaters everywhere on June 5. The film comes after the release of Jonas’ fifth solo album, Sunday Best. Jonas told TODAY.com that the new album was all about transparency.

“I worked with some incredible co-writers who really helped me articulate some things that I’ve been thinking and feeling for a long time,” Jonas said. “The fact that the music is some of my most transparent and vulnerable that I’ve ever written, I wanted the album cover to symbolize, first of all, this idea of looking at yourself in the mirror.”

After a slow start, it seems that Hulu is happy with the ratings for The Testaments. The Handmaid’s Tale sequel series has been renewed for a second season.

The Testaments Season 1 will come to an end on May 27, 2026. It has to include the cameo Margaret Atwood teased as the new series started. The author of the books couldn’t delve into which type of character she would play, but we haven’t spotted her nine episodes in!

Now the question is whether The Testaments can avoid the problems that The Handmaid’s Tale faced. The first season of the predecessor followed the single book it was based on almost to a tee. This set up some issues moving forward, as there wasn’t a framework for anything that happened to June.

The series took on a life of its own, further developing the totalitarian regime that was Gilead, giving us a look at life for those who made it out in Canada, and even a snippet of life in parts of America that hadn’t been taken over.

What about The Testaments, as it faced the same issue, being based just on a singular book? It’s a little easier for the sequel series not to face this issue. After all, elements of the story have already changed, including the prominence of Aunt Lydia’s part of the story. There is plenty more to explore with that character throughout the second season, including whether she is now part of Mayday or not.

THE TESTAMENTS - “Marat Sade” - Disney/Steve Wilkie

There’s also the fact that Daisy is definitely not Baby Nichole, as she is in the books. The timeline doesn’t work out, and showrunner Bruce Miller already explained this change. 

“I didn’t want to make any changes at all, but I felt like I wanted to have Daisy and Agnes physically together, and not tell their stories 15 years apart like they do in the book,” Miller told The Hollywood Reporter, “So it was very hard and I didn’t want to do it, but Daisy is not Nichole/Holly.”

There have been other changes more recently, such as with Becka’s arc. In the books, Becka ends up going to Aunt training, but in the show, we have just seen her kill her father and her fate in the hands of the Eyes. With the addition of Garth, Daisy’s handler, it opens the door for new storylines as The Testaments Season 2 gets underway.

There is no premiere date just yet, but we’re hoping for 2027!

If you've been active on the internet at all over the last week, you're sure to have heard of Prime Video's hit new TV series, Off Campus. The show debuted on May 13 and fans of the show can't get enough. From the spicy plotlines to the talented cast, it's no wonder that the show, which is based on Elle Kennedy's book series of the same name, skyrocketed to number one on the streaming platform.

Clips from the show's most memorable moments have been circulating across social media, and one scene caught Jennifer Lopez's eye.

Sparks fly at a Halloween party when Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla, meets hockey player Dean Di Laurentis, who is portrayed by Stephen Kalyn. The pair share a moment dancing to Lopez's iconic 2011 hit, "On The Floor," while Abdalla's character is dressed as none other than — you guessed it — JLo.

Lopez wore the famous dress at the 2000s Grammy Awards. Abdalla's reimagined version was designed by Off Campus costume designer Charlene Akuamoah.

"It was unreal. [The dress] was built from scratch. My first fitting was like, put on this nude leotard and we're going to cut it up and pin all this s--- to you," the 26-year-old actress said in a TikTok clip shared by Betches UK. "It was five fittings. It was insane, I was so taped in. I was ready to dance the night away."

The series has already been renewed for a second season, with filming set to commence in Vancouver in early June.
