Ali Brunson Says It’s ‘Surreal’ Watching Daughter Jordyn at Jalen Brunson’s Knicks Games
Jalen Brunson and his wife, Ali Brunson, welcomed their daughter, Jordyn James Brunson, on July 31, 2024. Considering her dad is the captain of the New York Knicks, it’s pretty much her birth right to attend games at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking with People in an interview published on Friday, February 27, Ali said bringing Jordyn to watch Jalen play is "surreal.”
"Everyone at MSG loves their job and loves the Knicks," Ali gushed. "It's just been such a family experience."

(Photo by Michael Simon/Getty Images for Moet & Chandon)While Ali is selective about which games she brings Jordyn to, the proud parent makes sure she’s present for all of her dad’s special moments, like when Jalen was named captain of the team in 2024.
"He had a whole ceremony for it. I think I was one week postpartum, and we came with Jordyn for it. She was hiding in the back,” Ali remembered. “She came out to celebrate for just a second, and then we went back home. I didn't want her to miss it.”
Jalen began playing for the New York Knicks in 2022. His father, Rick Brunson, is also a former NBA player and current assistant coach for the Knicks.
The Knicks' 2025–26 season is currently underway. At the time of publication, their record stands at 37–22.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Handwritten Rehab Notes Just Went Public
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared powerful words of encouragement with recovering addicts during a moving visit to a rehabilitation center in Amman, Jordan. Press photos have now revealed their handwritten notes and personal exchanges, offering a closer look at a visit defined by empathy and direct engagement.
On Thursday, February 26, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined a World Health Organization delegation at the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts (NCRA) in Amman. The center provides medical detox services, psychological care, and social counseling through Jordan’s Ministry of Health.

Speaking candidly to patients, the 41-year-old former senior royal addressed the stigma surrounding addiction. “I want you guys to know there's no shame in having an addiction, it stems from something else, which is an emotional pain — you're very, very brave to come here into hospital,” he said.
As reported by People, Harry encouraged the patients to turn recovery into purpose, urging them to support others facing similar struggles. In the facility’s gym, he also chatted with a patient using a rowing machine and asked whether he planned to keep exercising after leaving. When the man responded, “Yes,” Harry replied with a smile, “New habits, good habits rather than bad [habits] — we all have bad habits.''
Before departing, the couple left handwritten messages on a wall of encouragement. As seen in Getty images, the father of two wrote, “It's OK to not be OK. Trust each other. Congratulations on your recovery. Now share your courage and experience.” Markle, 44, added, “Congratulations on your dedication to your care. Wishing you continued healing and happiness.”

The rehabilitation stop was part of a two-day tour from February 25 to 26 focused on health, mental wellness, and community resilience. Earlier that day, the lovebirds visited World Central Kitchen, a longtime partner of their Archewell foundation, and later met female leaders at the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development, highlighting grassroots initiatives and women-led community programs.
Their Jordan trip builds on ongoing collaboration with the World Health Organization. In recent years, they have supported global health campaigns, including vaccine equity efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working alongside WHO and Save the Children, they called on G20 leaders to honor commitments to supply vaccines to lower-income nations, where vaccination rates once stood at just 3%, according to The Guardian.
The visit comes at a complicated moment for the wider royal family. The unprecedented arrest of former Prince Andrew has thrown the monarchy into turmoil, marking the first arrest of a British royal since 1649.
King Charles’ younger brother was detained on Thursday, February 19 — his 66th birthday — turning what would have been a private occasion into a global headline.

1971 Smash Hit Ranked Best Album From This Soft Rock Queen
Long before sad-girl anthems like Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” and Phoebe Bridgers’ “Motion Sickness” were dominating air waves, the sounds of Carole King and her piano were doing the emotional lifting.
An award-winning songwriter in the ’60s, King and her husband at the time, Gerry Goffin, were behind a multitude of hits, including “Chains” (covered by The Beatles), “The Loco-Motion” (performed by Little Eva), “One Fine Day” sung by The Chiffons,” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” belted by Aretha Franklin. Further bands who sang her songs include the Byrds, Everly Brothers, and Monkees.
In 1968, King reinvented herself. A liberated woman recently split from her husband, she moved from New York to Laurel Canyon, California, and got to work on a solo career. Her debut album, Writer, released in 1970 to critical acclaim but modest commercial success. It wasn’t until her second album release that her stock skyrocketed.
Tapestry, released Feb. 10, 1971, still holds the longest-running No. 1 record on Billboard with 15 weeks more than 50 years later, remains the artist’s best-selling album, and according to Ultimate Classic Rock & Culture, is Carole King’s best album of all time.
View this post on InstagramStylistically, Tapestry signaled the emergence of a new kind of music: “confessional songs that didn’t rock too hard,” the outlet writes, and ushered in the singer-songwriter genre. Stripped down iterations of “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” and “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” are coupled with new instant hits “So Far Away” and “It’s Too Late.” The album aslo spawned “I Feel the Earth Move,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” and the Gilmore Girls’ tune “Where You Lead.”
Tapestry went on to win four Grammy, be certified 14 times Platinum with 25 million sales, and decorate the Grammy Hall of Fame. It was an era-defining album that still reverberates today.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at this year’s 68th annual Grammy Awards, for which King was a presenter, the artist reflected on her influence and era-defining album 55 years after its release.
“It’s pretty cool,” she said. “I’m still here and so is the music.”
Addressing the endurance of Tapestry and why she thinks it connects with so many people, she said, “The authenticity and the simplicity of the presentation. It was me singing the songs with a great band, but [we] kept it simple. And people felt that.”
Disney World's Muppet*Vision 3D Eyes Return on Apple Vision Pro
A few short months after its heartbreaking closure at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, the fan-favorite Muppet*Vision 3D attraction is gaining fresh life in an unexpected new format.
According to the Disney Tourist Blog, Brian Henson, son of the legendary Muppets creator Jim Henson, confirmed that the shuttered attraction will soon make its way to Apple Vision Pro.
As users familiar with the service know, Apple Vision Pro operates as a VR-centric that literally allows customers to step foot into another world (such as, in this case, Disney World).
The news comes via a recent Q&A with Brian Henson, who currently acts as the chairman of The Jim Henson Company. While speaking during his improv puppet comedy show, Puppet Up!, in Los Angeles, Henson stated the former Disney World attraction will soon enter the VR realm, giving fans a chance to relive the closed ride whenever they wish.
During the Q&A, Henson said that the company did an amazing job restructuring the ride for a VR experience, affording fans a chance to sit in any sit within the ride with its new virtual reality format.
As of yet, there's no official date in mind for when Muppet*Vision 3D might arrive on Apple Vision Pro.
As most Disney fans might remember, Muppet*Vision allowed guests to venture into the chaotic world of Jim Henson's Muppets. Originally introduced in Disney's Hollywood Studios in 1991, the ride was eventually closed down to make room for the upcoming Monstropolis area of the park modeled after Pixar's Monsters, Inc.
A separate version of the arrive was also available at Disney California Adventure on the West Coast. Opened in 2001, the ride was eventually shut down in 2014, with the attraction's space repurposed to house For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and, later, Mickey's PhilharMagic.

View this post on Instagram26 Years Ago Today, Buddy Holly’s Long-Lost Glasses Were Found 21 Years After Deadly Plane Crash
Twenty-six years ago today, one of rock and roll’s most recognizable artifacts quietly resurfaced.
On February 27, 1980, the long-lost glasses of rock pioneer Buddy Holly—missing since the fatal 1959 plane crash that killed him—were discovered filed away inside a sealed envelope in a court clerk’s office in Mason City, Iowa, according to the History Channel.
Holly died in the early morning hours of February 3, 1959, when the Beechcraft Bonanza carrying him, Ritchie Valens and JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson crashed outside Clear Lake, Iowa. The impact was so violent that wreckage was scattered across nearly 300 yards of snow-covered cornfields.

The official death certificate listed Holly’s clothing, a leather suitcase and several personal effects. including cash and cuff links. But notably absent from the inventory were his signature black-framed glasses, an accessory that had become inseparable from his image.
For years, the glasses were presumed lost forever.
In reality, they had been recovered in the spring of 1959 after melting snow revealed them near the crash site. They were turned over to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office and sealed inside a manila envelope marked “rec’d April 7, 1959.”
There they remained for 21 years.

On February 27, 1980, Sheriff Jerry Allen opened the envelope, bringing one of rock’s most iconic visual symbols back into public awareness. The glasses were eventually returned to Holly’s widow, María Elena Holly.
The frames themselves were carefully chosen. According to Holly’s Lubbock, Texas optometrist, Dr. J. Davis Armistead, the heavy black plastic frames were selected to give the young performer a distinct visual identity. They would ultimately become part of rock’s enduring iconography, helping redefine what a rock star could look like.
Before Buddy Holly, thick black glasses were hardly associated with cool. After him, they became a symbol of individuality—and, decades later, even a fashion statement.
On this day in 1980, a sealed envelope in Iowa quietly restored one small but unforgettable piece of rock history.

48 Years Ago, Iconic ‘Happy Days’ Guest Star’s Debut Changed Everything
In 1978, Happy Days welcomed a guest star who was unlike anything anyone had seen before.
The episode “My Favorite Orkan” aired on Feb. 28, 1978, on ABC, during Happy Days' fifth season. The episode featured a little-known comedian named Robin Williams playing Mork, an outlandish alien from the planet Ork who meets Richie Cunningham (Ron Howard).
The episode included a lively powers showdown between Mork and Happy Days regular Fonzie (Henry Winkler) before ending on a note that hinted that the whole episode was really a dream.
The iconic Mork character was so popular that by the fall of 1978, Williams had scored his own spinoff. The comic co-starred with Pam Dawber in the Happy Days spinoff Mork and Mindy for four seasons, from 1978 to 1982. Williams also made a return to Happy Days in the 1979 episode, “Mork Returns.”
The ‘Happy Days’ set buzzed with excitementIn an interview with Pop Goes the Culture TV, Happy Days star Don Most (Ralph Malph) recalled that there was a lot of “buzz” when Williams made his debut on the show, and it was unlike anything the cast had seen before.
“Robin Williams guested on our show, and there was this buzz, ‘Did you see this guy?’” the actor shared. “They were having trouble casting that role, and in the 11th hour, I think Penny Marshall had suggested to our casting director that they look at Robin, because she had seen him at the Comedy Store or something like that.”
“So I remember showing up on the set on Thursday, the day we were camera-blocking, and I was gonna meet whoever was finally cast to play Mork,” Most continued. “And just walking on the set, there was this electricity, there was this buzz, ‘Oh wait til you see this guy. This guy’s like, you know, playing a guy from another planet like he IS from another planet.’ And we’re watching, and it’s different from anything anybody had ever seen.”
Most recalled that Williams started coming up “with all this stuff on the spot” and was so “inventive.”
“It caught on very quickly because the next day, there were all these network executives that showed up for the taping because there was such buzz about Robin. And then within days, I think, there was a deal that he was gonna have his own show. I mean, it happened like that!” Most revealed.
RELATED: Henry Winkler Addresses Rumors That ‘Laverne & Shirley’ Stars Were a ‘Nightmare’
‘Mork & Mindy’ was created on the spotIn an interview with the Television Academy Foundation, Happy Days creator Garry Marshall revealed that he originally created the Mork storyline because his young son was into spaceships at the time. He also dished that he pitched the Mork spinoff to network executives on the fly.
“I called the network, they were all in the room, and I said, ‘I got a show. I had a guy on Happy Days named Robin Williams. He's great, he's a genius, he could be big,’” Marshall recalled telling the ABC powers-that-be. “Now, why did I know he's a genius? Of course, he finished Happy Days, the episode, he walked out for bows, the entire audience stood up and applauded. Don't take a genius to know they like him.”
“Happy Days had a guy, Mork from Ork,” Marshall recalled telling the network bosses, adding, “And there was silence.”
He credited comedy programming executive Marcy Carsey for piping in to say she had seen Williams in the episode and urged the others to watch it.
“So that's it. It's a show I made it up literally on the phone,” the Happy Days showrunner added.

Is Lady Danbury Gone for Good in 'Bridgerton'? Here's What the Showrunner Had to Say
[WARNING! This article spoils the events of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, now available for streaming on Netflix. Please do not read further if you do not intend to know what happens in Episodes 5-8.]
Bridgerton Season 4 had its whimsical and happy moments, as well as some upsetting ones, as Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) is ready to leave the ton to live her life. It becomes a hard reality for Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuval) to grasp, and for fans, with showrunner Jess Brownell hinting at whether it's really the end for Lady Danbury.
Amid the main love story, the fourth season added an emotional twist when revealing that Lady Danbury is ready to move on and realizes she's lived far too much of her life catering to the ton. Having been married young to an older gentleman, becoming a widow, and a lady in waiting to the Queen, she hasn't seen the world or her home in many years. Fans watched as her request was feverishly denied by the Queen over her fear of losing the one person who's been by her side for years.
By the finale of Part 2, Alice's (Emma Naomi) speech on love, and after Penelope (Nicola Couhglan) convinces the Queen to retire her pen and paper as Lady Whistledown, the Queen, too, realizes it's time to let go of Lady Danbury. It's an emotional scene when the Queen says everything with a single look as Lady Danbury leaves the great hall and walks under a portrait of them as young women.
Related: Does John Stirling Die in ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4?
Is Lady Danbury gone for good? Or can fans expect to see her in a more guest role in future seasons?
"Danbury is absolutely a part of the story moving forward. She’s quite a big part of Season 5, in fact," said Brownell in an interview with Variety.
"But I think we wanted to shake up the dynamic. She had been the Queen’s side, at her beck and call for four seasons, and I think going forward, the Queen is seeing Danbury more as her peer, going forward — in many ways, as her true friend."
Brownell adds that Alice's storyline helps things along, allowing Lady Danbury and the Queen to commit to being true friends without the need for service. Alice's role as a lady-in-waiting fulfills that aspect of the storyline that Lady Danbury had to fulfill from time to time.
The Bridgerton showrunner also reveals that Queen Charlotte blessing Sophie (Yerin Ha) and Benedict (Luke Thompson), while not in the novel, was a nice way to cap off Lady Danbury's story. Alice being accepted by the Queen was also a parting gift.
"That felt like a beautiful button on that story and like a gift to Danbury, in a way. And she’s giving her girl, the girl Danbury put forward, meaning Alice, a win. It’s really more about the Queen doing it for Danbury than anything," she said.

'The Kelly Clarkson Show': Another Pop Star Rumored to Be in Talks to Replace the Host
The Kelly Clarkson Show stood out for Kelly Clarkson singing karaoke with today's popular hits. Sadly, the mother decided to quit the show.
If anyone replaced her, then they would hopefully have an equally impressive vocal range. There is a report that producers have their eye on a pop star to take over.
Pink is in the running to replace Kelly Clarkson PinkPage Six reported that Pink has been in New York City, away from her California home. "I saw her at Soho House yesterday with a guy who seemed to be part of team," a source said. "She spent a few hours reading paperwork and documents on a computer." She is reportedly being considered to host the show regularly.
Pink, 46, will guest-host the show starting March 2. She previously appeared on the talk show in 2023 and did a duet of her songs, "Who Knew" and "What About Us" with Clarkson. Pink's episodes happen during Women's History Month, therefore will "highlight the show’s dedication to celebrating women who inspire change, break barriers, and uplift one another," according to NBC.
The Grammy winner won't be the only one performing on the show. "Surprise performances and candid conversations with trailblazers in entertainment – alongside everyday people making a difference in their communities – will honor women’s achievements, resilience, and lasting impact across music, culture, and society," teased a press release.
Pink made headlines on the same day, claiming her marriage to Carey Hart was over. The couple has been married since 2006 and has two children. The singer addressed the rumor in a video on Instagram. "So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know…Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children? My 14-year-old and my nine-year-old are also unaware," she said. Looks like there are only positive things for the singer on the horizon.
Stars of 1988 Tear-Jerker Film Just Gave Us a Reunion With the Happy Ending We Always Wanted
Gotta love the internet where anything can happen! For instance, actress, comedian, and singer Bette Midler just shared (via Instagram) a photo of the Beaches reunion and happy ending to the movie we all wanted and deserved—a quick, magical glimpse of the film's two BFFs, CC and Hillary, growing older together.
In actuality, Midler simply shared a current photo with her Beaches co-star Barbara Hershey. "It’s a BEACHES reunion!" Midler captions. "Here I am with the great Barbara Hershey! We go back a-ways!!!"
I don't know if Bette and Barbara ran into each other at the market reaching for the same grapefruit or what, but as soon as I saw the photo of the two of them, my late '80s broken heart mended for a sweet moment. I sighed deeply and took in the two smiling, silver-haired beauties and thought—CC and Hillary! Besties to the end!
View this post on Instagram[SPOILER ALERT] Of course, Beaches fans will never forget what actually happened. The movie follows two very different women, one from the Bronx and one from San Francisco, as they ride the rolleroaster of lifelong girlfriendship. They meet as kids, they adore each other, they fight, they make up, there are man problems (like, they both love one man at one point, which is a problem), Hillary has a child, people break up, more life happens, and so on. And then ... Hillary dies.
And the audience is left weeping in our popcorn.
Actors Marcie Leeds and Mayim Bialik portray young Hillary and CC.Beaches was based a 1985 novel by Iris Rainer Dart, so it was fiction, but sadly, the part about having to lose a dear friend way too soon is not fictional enough. Getting older and seeing one another through the next stage of ups and downs is always a gift and a privilege, and happy endings aren't guaranteed. That's life and that's what the Beaches story is all about. As devastating as the ending may be, that kind of friendship only comes once in a lifetime.
So excuse me while I sit here a little longer looking at smiling Bette and Barbara, wishing it was CC and Hillary, yes, and also every other bestie and her bestie enjoying a long happy ending like this.

Starbucks’ New Drinkware Embraces 2 Blooming Trends
Starbucks just dropped "lush" new drinkware inspired by fans and the upcoming season, and let us be the first to tell you that it will certainly put a spring in your step.
As snow still covers parts of the country, the beloved coffee chain is giving consumers a reason to smile with a reminder that the equinox is only a few weeks away and soon, the days will be brighter, longer and warmer. And while many await the new seasonal menu items that the brand teased back in January, it's ushering in the first sign that sunnier days are ahead with two new collections of reusable cups and tumblers.
Starbucks' new spring merchandise is divided into two themes, Matcha and Cherry Blossom, each offering a bright array of collectible drinkware perfect for those always on-the-go as well as fans who make a point of scheduling a sit-down coffee chat.
Starbucks Leans Into Matcha and Spring Blooms With New Seasonal Drinkware Collection"We were inspired by the customers in our coffeehouses," Kap Pitarys, director of U.S. merchandise for Starbucks, said of the new merch series in a statement on Thursday. "We created an assortment that captures the spirit of spring and our customers’ love of matcha."
The exec noted that many people "often have their first matcha at Starbucks," explaining the company "really wanted to capture the matcha trend, the love of the color, the energy around matcha" and "the spirit of making it their own" through customizations like added cold foams, syrups and other classic toppings.

"We wanted to capture the spirit of the coffeehouse matcha experience from ritual to exploration and give customers more ways to celebrate and show that fandom," she added.
Its Matcha collection includes several so cute 12-ounce mugs, such as the Matcha Splatter Mug ($17.95), Rippled Matcha Mug ($24.95) and Botanical Glass Mug ($17.95).

Also launching as part of the Matcha series is a new 16-ounce glass Cold Cup in Matcha green ($22.95), a 12-ounce two-tone Glass Ripple Cup ($17.95), and two 12-ounce stainless steel tumblers in botanical and abstract swirled patterns the latter of which reads: "Dream in Green" ($21.95 and $22.95, respectively).

And just like matcha has been having its moment this year, so have cherry blossoms.
"The blossoming of the Sakura flowers is a moment where people come together as a community," Pitarys noted, sharing that "Sakura flowers in full bloom signify new beginnings across the globe and a time of reflection, reconnection and celebration all at once."
Starbucks said this Cherry Blossom Collection was actually inspired by designs it created for its coffeehouses in its Asia Pacific market, and it features two different cold cups, tumblers, an exclusive keychain spinoff of its viral Bearista ($14.95) and a set of colorful and cute enamel pins ($14.95).

Starbucks' new 20-ounce Cherry Blossom Tumbler ($32.95) is covered with a cute cherry blossom pattern and a pale pink lid. It's also releasing a "pretty in pink" 12-ounce tumbler ($24.95) with pink cherry blossoms arranged in the center.

According to the official press release, the new Matcha and Cherry Blossom drinkware collections are set to be released in stores in both the U.S. and in Canada the same day as its spring menu, this Monday, March 3.
And we know it may not feel like it, but Easter and Mother's Day are basically around the corner, so if you've got a loyal Starbucks fan in your life any piece from the spring series paired with a new or returning spring coffee and creamer flavors makes for a perfectly thoughtful and easy gift (bonus points if you include a gift card).

Phil Collins Could Make History If Selected For Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2026 Class
Phil Collins has been announced as one of the nominees for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class, and if selected, his induction could go down in history.
The 75-year-old drummer and singer was named among a list of 17 total artists who are up for induction at the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, but it wouldn't be Collins' first time getting inducted.
Collins was previously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 as part of the British rock band Genesis. This time, Collins is nominated as a solo artist, and if selected, he would become the fourth drummer to ever be inducted twice.
He would join the ranks of Matt Cameron, who was inducted with Pearl Jam in 2017 and Soundgarden in 2025, as well as Ringo Starr, inducted as a member of The Beatles in 1988 and for Musical Excellence as a solo artist in 2015, plus Dave Grohl, who first received the honor as the drummer for Nirvana in 2014 and later with Foo Fighters in 2021.

Meredith Monroe Breaks Her Silence on James Van Der Beek’s Death With Touching Tribute
Meredith Monroe needed some time to sit with the news that her friend and Dawson's Creek co-star James Van Der Beek had died.
Van Der Beek died on Feb. 11 from colorectal cancer at 48. As the tributes flowed immediately following his death, Monroe said she needed to find a way to come to terms with the fact that her close friend was no longer here.
"It’s been 2 weeks & I still don’t know what to say?? Nothing seems right?? James, you, Kimberly, your children & families have been constantly in my thoughts, my prayers & on my heart. I’ve been flooded with fond memories of our friendship that we shared over the years & this is what’s come from them," she posted on Instagram on Feb. 26.
View this post on InstagramShe continued by reflecting on the legacy Van Der Beek leaves behind. "Whether 1 on 1, at a party, an event, or in your art, you’ve always shared your light through: your humor & laughter, your curiosity, time & energy both in others & the world around you, your ability to be completely present & make others feel welcome & comfortable, your sincerity, friendship, compassion & love."
Monroe's post is truly bittersweet as the Dawson's Creek cast reunited in Sept. 2025, with Van Der Beek noticeably absent. He shared with the cast and fans that he was unable to attend due to a stomach virus, but recorded a video that was played at the Richard Rodgers Theater during the reunion.
"I can't believe I'm not there," Van Der Beek said in the video. "I can't believe I don't get to see my cast mates, my beautiful cast, in person. I wanted to stand on this stage and thank every single person in this theater for being here tonight." He thanked the cast and crew, adding, "You are the best fans in the world."
