Starbucks Is Rolling Out 2 Big Changes to Its Coffeehouses
Enjoying a cup of coffee at Starbucks is about to look and feel a whole lot different.
Last year, the international chain of coffeehouses announced it would roll out a few key redesigns at select stores to help find the "right look and vibe" for customers. After about a year of testing, it appears Starbucks has finally found what it's looking for, and by the end of the year, the new vibe will be rolled out at additional locations.
On Friday, Starbucks said it expects to refresh stores through subtle café updates, including new mugs and seating.
Starbucks Is Testing Redesigned Mugs, Introducing New Lounge Seating at Select Locations This YearAccording to the Feb. 27 announcement, the coffee giant's decision to redesign its seating and its in-store cups is part of its efforts to prioritize customer experience while embracing the brand's identity.
The new chairs aren't just meant to be more comfortable but also serve as a nod to Starbucks' iconic purple lounge chairs that were once scattered across its stores. The "uplifted" new look is landing at 1,000 Starbucks coffeehouses nationwide by the end of 2026. Starbucks didn't offer an exact list of the locations getting the new chairs, but it's not expected to be limited to any one region.

The same can't be said for its new mugs, which Starbucks said it is currently testing only at select stores in Los Angeles and New York City. The porcelain mugs have been updated to feature a wider mouth and a redesigned grip, details inspired by Italian cafés that the company says make it easier and more convenient for customers to enjoy hot beverages in-store.
The new mugs are available in white and green, and both are expected to be introduced across North America by the end of 2026 and globally beginning in 2027.

So far, Starbucks said customers are appreciating the changes.
"Starbucks represented a place to get coffee and leave," one individual said of the coffeehouses prior to their renovations, the company reported. "Now, it feels more like a third place where I can hang out and stay longer – it provides a sense of community, comfort and relaxation."
Along with changes to its locations, Starbucks recently revamped its Rewards Program (and its new tiered rewards system launches in just a week. It just announced it would offer five all-new, ready-to-drink beverages at retail stores nationwide, inspired by its trendy Protein Cold Foam and other customer favorites. Not to mention, the official launch of its spring-exclusive menu items is just days away.

Jim Carrey Names 'The Cable Guy' As One of His Favorite Movies
As with any well-known actor, Jim Carrey is known to play favorites when it comes to his favorite past projects.
While most viewers continue to gravitate towards some of the star's earlier work on Ace Ventura orDumb and Dumber, however, Carrey himself has singled out one of his lesser-known performances as one of his personal favorites.
In particular, the two-time Golden Globe Award winner cited 1996's less-than-well-received dark comedy, The Cable Guy, as one of the most cherished projects he's ever been apart of.
According to LADbible, Carrey reflected on some of his many notable films and displayed a particular love for Ben Stiller's polarizing 1990s comedy.
"I have odd favorites that may not be for kids, but The Cable Guy is one of my favorite movies," Carrey said when asked about his favorite past films.
Released in the peak period of Carrey's career in the mid 1990s, The Cable Guy starred the actor as an unstable cable installer who forms an unhealthy attachment to a hapless customer (Matthew Broderick).
While a modest box office success, the movie's darker tone alienated many fans and critics, with some feeling it strayed far too significantly from Carrey's earlier, far more lighthearted comedic films.
In spite of this initially frosty reception, The Cable Guy has gone on to achieve fabled cult status among mainstream viewers today, with many citing it as one of the most underrated movies to bear Carrey's name.
Looking back at it today, Carrey brought up the movie's buoyant comedic cast as the primary reason for his positive appraisal of the project, as seen with the various appearances of everyone from director Ben Stiller to Leslie Mann, Jack Black, Eric Roberts, David Cross and Owen Wilson.
"I think Ben Stiller did an amazing job, and it's populated with the greatest comedy actors of our day when they were just coming into their power," Carrey explained. "I love that character. That character is all of us: we were all raised by the TV."
Sam Heughan Drops Major 'Outlander' Finale Clue: 'I Know Diana’s Ending'
With Season 8 of Outlander being the final season of the TV series, there's a big question on the minds of fans of the series who also read the novels written by bestselling author Diana Gabaldon that began it all. How much will the end of the series resemble the end of the story that Diana is writing in the as-yet-unreleased book 10 in the franchise?
We know for a fact that Sam Heughan, who stars as Jamie Fraser, is one of two people who were shown the ending by Diana—the other is executive producer Maril Davis, but neither of them are in the writers room.

On a visit to Scotland in June 2024 courtesy of STARZ, Heughan shared his thoughts about the finale with a small group of reporters, Parade included.
“I know Diana’s ending,” Sam said. “We won’t get all the books done, obviously. We’re only Season 8 and she’s still writing. What I believe is there are going to be multiple endings and we will choose one eventually. We’re going to shoot various endings, but I don’t know which one they’ll use. One of the ideas I’ve been asking for or pushing for is very similar to the way Diana’s book will end.”

That said, key things that will happen in Season 8 will be adapted from Diana’s novels, and Sam did tease some of what we can expect to see.
“We have a new presence on the Ridge,” Sam said. “Jamie and Claire [Caitríona Balfe] have come back to the Ridge and there’s a character called [Captain Charles] Cunningham. There’s a bit of a power struggle over supremacy on the Ridge. Jamie gets into a bit of a scrap with him, but that’s a big spoiler, towards the end. It’s really fun because the enemy is coming from inside the Ridge.”

Having played Jamie for such a big part of his life, Sam knows there are things he will miss about the hot Scot now that he's done donning his kilt, but he says he needs more time to figure those out. He won’t really know until he leaves him behind, which he can’t do completely until doing publicity for this season is over.
“I can feel myself remembering things that I used to do before I played Jamie,” he says. “My life kind of went on hold a little bit, or it took a different direction shall we say, coming to Scotland again and living here. When we finish the show, there’s going to be a new beginning for me. But it’ll be very sad. I shall miss the kilt. It’s nice to see it back.”

Also, in looking back Sam ventured a guess at what it was about Outlander that struck a chord with the viewing public to the point that it developed into such a hit, award-winning series.

“I think it’s this love story that people yearn for,” he says. “I’ve been speaking to other networks and they’re all looking for a story like this and they can’t find one. They all want it. As much as we think we’re in a modern age and whatever, still these archetypes of eternal love, we’re all seeking it, we all want it. I think that’s the heart of it. It’s also great writing and some really interesting characters.”
Outlander is set to premiere on Friday, March 6 at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. New episodes are available to stream weekly on Fridays at midnight on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.

Bill Clinton Swears He 'Had No Idea' About Epstein’s Crimes in House Testimony
As renewed scrutiny swirls around high-profile figures once connected to Jeffrey Epstein, former PresidentBill Clinton is now publicly addressing his past association with the disgraced financier under oath.
Clinton denied having any knowledge of Epstein’s alleged sex crimes during testimony before the House Oversight Committee on Friday, February 27, stating under oath that he “had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing,” per TMZ.
Appearing at a federal building in upstate New York near the Clintons’ home Friday, Clinton addressed the panel in a measured opening statement, which was obtained by the outlet. “Now, let me say what you're going to hear from me. First, I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing. No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that, at the end of the day, matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos,” he said.
He continued, “I know what I saw and more importantly, what I didn't see. I know what I did and more importantly, what I didn't do. I saw nothing and I did nothing wrong.”
Clinton, 79, also told lawmakers he would have reported Epstein himself if he “had any inkling of what he was doing,” adding that by the time Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to procuring a minor for prostitution, he “had long stopped associating” with him.
Throughout the deposition, Clinton cautioned that many of the events in question date back more than two decades: “You'll often hear me say that I don't recall... That might be unsatisfying, but I'm not going to say something I'm not sure of. This was all a long time ago, and I'm bound by my oath not to speculate or to guess. This is not merely for my benefit, but because it doesn't help you for me to play detective 24 years later.”
His wife Hillary Clinton testified before the committee a day earlier, saying she did not recall ever meeting Epstein. Bill criticized the committee’s decision to call his wife to testify.

The Clinton's comments come weeks after the U.S. Department of Justice released millions of files connected to Epstein’s criminal investigations. Among those documents were draft emails Epstein allegedly wrote to himself that also included unsubstantiated claims about Bill Gates. Gates’ spokesperson previously dismissed those accusations as “absolutely absurd and completely false,” calling them attempts to “entrap and defame.”
But on Tuesday, February 24, Gates addressed his own past during a recent Gates Foundation town hall where—according to The Wall Street Journal—he admitted to having affairs during his marriage to Melinda French Gates and expressed regret over personal decisions that have resurfaced publicly. A spokesperson for Gates said he “spoke candidly, addressing several questions in detail, and took responsibility for his actions.”
Denise Richards Ordered to Pay Aaron Phypers Monthly $5,000 Spousal Support
Denise Richards has been ordered to pay her estranged husband Aaron Phypers monthly spousal support amid their ongoing divorce.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Richards was ordered by a judge to pay Phypers $5,000 per month in temporary spousal support on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The payments will be due on the 5th of each month starting in March and will continue until further notice.
Richards will also be paying for Phypers attorney fees and forensic accountant which amounts to $30,000.
Richards and Phypers were married for six years prior to Phypers filing for divorce in June 2025. In Dec. 2025, Phypers had filed a request for spousal support claiming financial debt. According to the filing, he claims his expenses, including the rent on their home, had amassed more than $61,000.
Richards had also previously filed a restraining order against Phypers and alleged he was abusive. Phypers has denied all allegations of domestic abuse.
"I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful," he said in July 2025. "Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect."
Phypers was then arrested on charges of spousal abuse in Oct. 2025 and was released on bail days later. Phypers has continued to deny all allegations of domestic abuse against him from Richards.

Lil Jon's Son Nathan Smith's Cause of Death Determined
The official cause of death for Lil Jon'ssonNathan Smith has been determined.
Smith was reported missing on Feb. 3 from his home in Milton, Georgia "under unusual circumstances." A body believed to be Smith's was then discovered on Feb. 6 in a pond near the family home.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner has determined that Smith's death was accidental and due to, "drowning in the setting of psilocybin use" according to an autopsy report obtained by People.
According to the autopsy report, a sample of Smith's blood tested positive for psilocybin which is described as, "a pharmacologically active hallucinogenic compound of psilocybin — hallucinogenic mushrooms."
At the time Smith's body was discovered, the Milton Police Department said in a statement that, "On February 6, 2026, at approximately 11:53 a.m., divers with the Cherokee County Fire Department located and recovered a body from the pond. The individual is believed to be Nathan Smith, pending official confirmation by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office."

Lil Jon had released his own statement to People following the statement released from the Milton Police Department.
"I am extremely heartbroken for the tragic loss of our son, Nathan Smith. His mother and I are devastated," he said. "Nathan was the kindest human being you would ever meet. He was an amazingly talented young man; a music producer, an artist and engineer, and graduate of NYU."
The rapper continued, "We loved Nathan with all of our hearts and are incredibly proud of him. He was loved and appreciated, and in our last times together we’re comforted in knowing that we expressed that very sentiment to him."
‘Little House on the Prairie’ Star Says She Would Have Been ‘Appalled’ by the Show’s Long Run
Little House on the Prairie star Karen Grassle got candid about portraying her character, Caroline “Ma” Ingalls.
During a November 2025 interview withThe Jim Masters Show, Grassle said she was shocked that the historical drama, based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's book series, had a nine-season run until 1983, per ReMind Magazine. Grassle shared that she was appreciative of being cast as Ma, Laura Ingalls's (Melissa Gilbert) mother, because she was looking for employment. However, she was upset about not being able to do theater during the show's run, which she envisioned to be about three years.
She said she ended up filming as Ma for eight seasons, which she never anticipated.
"So eight years, no, I never dreamed it would go on like that. I would have been appalled," said the 84-year-old actress with a laugh.
She clarified that she is "grateful now" for her time on the series.
Karen Grassle Opened up About Her Issues With 'Little House on the Prairie'In a December 2022 interview with Film School'd, Grassle opened up about her complicated feelings regarding Little House on the Prairie. She stated that she had issues with her castmate, the late Michael Landon, who not only starred as Ma's husband, Charles "Pa" Ingalls, but also served as the show's executive producer, one of the writers, and one of the directors. According to Grassle, she had asked for a raise, and "Mike was so set against it." She said she didn't understand why Landon didn't want her to "be paid a fair salary," as it wouldn't have "hurt his financial position."
In addition, Grassle said that the "series of diminishing behaviors and fewer scenes and cutting away from the character" caused her to feel trapped in the series. She explained that she felt she couldn't quit Little House on the Prairie, because "if you can walk out on a successful series who's going to put you in a successful series again."
Grassle clarified that she and Landon "had settled things before he died" in 1991. She said while the mending of the relationship "meant a lot to [her]," she still felt a bit hurt about the situation.
Grassle also shared that she now fully appreciates how much her Little House on the Prairie character means to fans.
"I can fully accept what Ma means to people and embrace it, you know, with nothing held back," said Grassle in the 2022 interview.
'The Vampire Diaries' Star Lands a Mysterious Role on the Hit Period Drama 'The Buccaneers'
Paul Wesley is trading in his vampire digs for 1870s attire.
The Vampire Diaries alum has officially joined the third season of Apple TV'sThe Buccaneers.
On Friday, Feb. 27, the streamer announced the news on Instagram with a clever callback to TVD's key vampire rule—they can't enter a home without an invitation.
"Formally inviting him in," the post began, announcing, "Welcome Paul Wesley to The Buccaneers Season 3."
View this post on InstagramThe accompanying video gave fans a peek at Wesley in character, as he pointed to a sign that read "Paul Wesley joins The Bucaneers."
According to Deadline, Wesley comes to the period drama as Frank, "who is a mysterious but charming stranger who arrives into Nan and Mrs. St. George’s world, turning it upside down."
Rumors of Wesley's involvement first made waves when photos appeared of him on set with Good Girls star Christina Hendricks, who plays Patty St. George.
"This is iconic and perfect! 😍 so excited," one wrote of the casting choice, as plenty more fans shared their excitement in the comment section, writing, "I'm screaming" and "i didn't know this was even an option!!!!!"
"It will always be Stefan. ❤️," another emphasized of his character on TVD. Wesley played vampire Stefan Salvatore, the brother of Ian Somerhalder's Damon Salvatore, and a romantic love interest for Nina Dobrev's Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce. The teen drama aired on The CW for eight seasons from 2009 through 2017.
While many know him as Stefan, Wesley also brings to life James T. Kirk, the iconic Star Trek captain previously portrayed by William Shatner and Chris Pine, in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
What Is The Buccaneers Season 3 About?Apple TV's period drama, based on the unfinished novel by Edith Wharton, focuses on young American woemn sent to "tightly corseted London" to secure husbands and titles, creating plenty of chaos in the process.
Season 3 teases, “Our Buccaneers are fighting back. And they’re doing it together. When they arrived in England they were all navigating their first loves. Now, they’re looking for the loves of their live, and with a new and enigmatic Duke at the helm, Tintagel is also facing an uncertain future. If polite English society thought our American girls rocked the boat, this new bad-boy Duke is about to sink the ship.”
While some assumed Wesley may be the new Duke, fans will have to tune in when the series premieres to find out who will be taking on the role first introduced at the end of season 2. The current Duke, Theo, played by Guy Remmers, abdicated the position, making way for his "long-lost half-brother," described as a "bad boy," Kit, to take on the title of Duke of Tintagel.
In addition to Hendricks and Remmers, the cast also includes Kristine Frøseth (Nan), Aubri Ibrag (Lizzy), Alisha Boe (Conchita), Josie Totah (Mabel), Mia Threapleton (Honoria), Matthew Broome (Guy), Imogen Waterhouse (Jinny), and Barney Fishwick (Lord Seadown).
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester also made waves when she joined the series in Season 2—and we can't wait to see these CW worlds collide when the series premieres.
The Buccaneers Season 3 doesn't have a premiere date yet, but Parade will keep you posted when it's announced!
This Surprising Food Could Be the Key to Gut Health
When we talk about gut health, what exactly do we mean? As it turns out, that term encompasses a lot: digestion, the amount of good bacteria in the intestines, the absence of gastrointestinal disorders and the like. Further, it affects the entire body in one way or another in our day-to-day lives. From how you feel after eating certain foods to your immune and cardiovascular health to your mood, gut health is a key player. (We know, some of those associations sound random, but they're true!)
If taking care of your gut health (and, as a result, other parts of your body) interests you, Parade has shared plenty of expert-backed suggestions, such as exercising regularly, eating the right amount of fiber and, perhaps surprisingly, not cutting out food groups to address bloating.
What’s also important to understand is that gut health isn’t just about avoiding digestive discomfort. A well-functioning gut helps regulate inflammation, supports nutrient absorption and plays a role in training your immune system to respond appropriately to threats.
When the balance of bacteria in your gut is disrupted—a state known as dysbiosis—you may notice symptoms that extend far beyond your stomach, including fatigue, skin issues or frequent illness. That’s one reason experts often emphasize consistency over quick fixes when it comes to gut care. Small, sustainable habits practiced over time tend to have a much bigger impact than short-term cleanses or restrictive diets.
You’ve probably also heard about the best gut health foods, such as raspberries, yogurt, kombucha, fermented foods, chickpeas, beans and resistant starches.
However, there's one more surprising food that we don't think of as beneficial to gut health but can actually work wonders. Ahead, gastroenterologists talk about why this food is central to gut health, how much of it to eat and how it can help your body thrive.

The Surprising Food That Could Benefit Gut HealthIt's mushrooms. And one major reason why mushrooms boost the gut lies in one of their nutrients: complex carbohydrates called polysaccharides. “Polysaccharides in mushrooms selectively stimulate beneficial gut bacteria and help to inhibit pathogens,” says Dr. Nikiya Asamoah, MD, a board-certified adult gastroenterologist with MedStar Washington Hospital Center who specializes in treating digestive disorders.
Those polysaccharides also enhance the intestinal barrier and reduce inflammation.
“Studies show that mushroom polysaccharides strengthen the gut’s mucosal barrier, suppress oxidative stress and regulate immune function, all critical for maintaining gastrointestinal health,” says Dr. Sumana Moole, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist, founder of Merus Gastroenterology & Gut Health and a featured 2025 Atlanta Top Doctor. “Additionally, mushroom consumption promotes production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) like butyrate, which serve as fuel for colon cells and have anti-inflammatory properties.”
Related: Eat Your Way to a Healthier Gut—Here’s What You Need to Know About Gut Health and Diet
Other Health Benefits of MushroomsIf that wasn’t enough to convince you, hear this: The health benefits of mushrooms extend beyond just the gastrointestinal. According to Dr. Asamoah, they're also linked to improvement in cognition and immunity, plus a decreased risk of cancer and dementia. While clinical trials are continuing to investigate those benefits, they're significant.
Dr. Moole adds that mushrooms have cardiovascular, metabolic and immune benefits. Mushrooms can reduce total cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure. Studies have also found associations between mushroom consumption and reduced risk of metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes and obesity, she says.
Related: Here’s Exactly What Happens to Your Body When You Eat Mushrooms Every Day
Let’s not forget the simpler pros, too, like vitamin content. “Mushrooms are also excellent sources of vitamin D2,” Dr. Moole continues. “When exposed to ultraviolet light, just three ounces of UV-exposed white button mushrooms can provide 100 percent of the daily value for vitamin D.” Vitamin D is important for mood, bone health, immune health, dental health and more.
How Many Mushrooms To Eat per DayAccording to the studies Dr. Moole has read, about three ounces twice daily for 10 days can increase stool weight and favorably alter the gut microbiome. “However, it’s important to note that most research on mushroom polysaccharides and gut health has been conducted using concentrated extracts rather than whole mushrooms, making it difficult to establish precise dosing recommendations for dietary consumption,” she adds.

Long-term, she and Dr. Asamoah agree that ultimately, it’s about moderation. “My recommendation is to incorporate mushrooms into a balanced diet in moderation,” Dr. Asamoah says. “This may be daily or several times per week to receive those health benefits.”
So the next time you type up your grocery list in your notes app, consider adding “mushrooms”—if your gut tells you to, of course.

W Florence Review: Inside My Unforgettable Stay at the 5-Star Hotel
The W Florence is redefining luxury in the heart of Italy’s Renaissance capital. From its prime location in Piazza dell'Unità Italiana to its rooftop bar overlooking the iconic Duomo, this hotel blends modern design with Italian charm.
Inside, you’ll find spa worthy showers, floor to ceiling mirrors, and touches like built in Bluetooth speakers that make every moment feel indulgent. Whether you’re exploring Florence’s museums and boutiques by day or sipping a Hugo spritz at sunset, the W Florence offers a stylish home base for your Italian escape.
Where Is the W Florence Located?Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, 4/B, Firenze
Why W Florence Is Perfectly LocatedSet in Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, the W Florence could not be more central. Florence is famously walkable, and from this location you are just minutes from the Duomo, the Santa Maria Novella train station, and many of the city’s best museums, restaurants, and boutiques. There is rarely a need for a car unless you are heading to the airport or planning a day trip outside the historic center.
First Impressions and Check-InFrom the moment I arrived, the service felt unmistakably 5-star. My car door was opened before I even reached for the handle, my luggage was whisked away and I was guided straight to the front desk.
During check-in, I was offered my choice of still, sparkling or lemon water. It was a small gesture that felt especially thoughtful after navigating the winding roads from the airport. As someone prone to motion sickness, I appreciated it. My room was ready before the official check-in time, and by the time I stepped off the elevator on my floor, a staff member was already waiting with my luggage. Later, I learned the staff uses a dedicated service elevator, which explains how they always seemed to appear at the perfect moment.

What Are the Rooms Like at the W Florence? My room was spacious, stylish and full of thoughtful design touches. Floor-to-ceiling velvet curtains framed the windows, while a cozy sitting area with a small dining table made the space feel like a modern Italian apartment. The wardrobe concealed a mini fridge, coffee maker and fully stocked mini bar. A sleek double-sided fireplace separated the living area from the bedroom—with a TV on each side.
Opposite the bed sat a full mirrored wall—a bold design choice that definitely makes an impression. The bathroom quickly became my favorite part of the room. The oversized rain shower, which also includes a handheld shower head, felt more like a spa ritual than a standard hotel rinse. Instead of traditional knobs, the water is controlled by digital buttons— a small, but surprisingly enjoyable modern feature.
Storage was abundant, with spacious closets, plenty of drawers and a secure safe for valuables. But the amenity I loved most was the built-in Bluetooth speakers. A single button by the door connects instantly and fills the entire room—including the shower—with music or podcasts at the perfect volume. It made getting ready in the morning and winding down at night feel far more indulgent.
Dining at W FlorenceRoom ServiceOrdering room service could not be easier. You simply scan the QR code on the TV to browse the menu. Options span breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night bites. After returning from the bars one evening, I ordered the lasagna. The noodles were cooked beautifully with the right amount of chew, though I wished for a bit more meat and cheese. On another night, I loved the cucumber salad, which came dressed with a flavorful, Asian-inspired sauce.
Breakfast and DinnerThe hotel restaurant is chic and inviting, and I ate dinner there once and enjoyed breakfast there each morning. While Florence is packed with incredible restaurants and trattorias, I was pleasantly surprised by the dinner offerings. The ragu pasta was a creative and satisfying twist on a classic.
Breakfast is where the W Florence truly shines. It is not included in the room rate, but you can choose between a full buffet or an à la carte menu. I recommend trying the buffet at least once for its wide selection of pastries, vegetables, meats and hot dishes. Each morning begins with a small juice or wellness shot that changes daily, and they were all surprisingly delicious.
The latte was a solid morning staple, and the pancakes with strawberries became my go-to. The strawberries in Italy taste nothing like their American counterparts. They are smaller, sweeter and packed with flavor. I even ordered an extra bowl on the side and finished them instantly.

Do Not Miss the Rooftop BarThe rooftop is easily one of the hotel’s most stunning features. With sweeping views of Florence’s rooftops and the iconic Duomo, it is the perfect spot for sunset or a pre-dinner drink. A portion of the rooftop is occasionally closed for private events, but the areas that remain open during these times still offer incredible views.
The bar can make any spritz you would like—including Aperol and Hugo spritzes. I am not a fan of Aperol, so the Hugo spritz became my drink of choice and they make an excellent one. If you prefer something stronger, the Negroni is popular with locals, though personally too bitter for me. Each night, a DJ plays music until around midnight—creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that still respects the surrounding neighborhood.
The Penthouse Suite (A Dream Stay)I had the chance to tour the penthouse suite and it was nothing short of a dream. The bathroom alone could make anyone swoon with its luxurious finishes, oversized vanity and a soaking tub with an artistic circular design. The walk-through closet features a vanity overlooking the church across the street and the suite’s private balcony boasts jaw-dropping views of the Duomo.
It also includes a bar area and even table soccer—making it feel both sophisticated and playful. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime stay or planning a honeymoon, the penthouse is unmatched.
Is the W Florence Worth It? My Honest VerdictFrom the moment the staff opened my car door to the first sip of my Hugo spritz on the rooftop, the W Florence delivered indulgent yet approachable luxury that makes you wish your stay could last forever. The service is warm, the design is modern and thoughtful and the location could not be more convenient.
If you are looking for a design-forward luxury hotel in Florence with top-tier amenities and a vibrant atmosphere, the W Florence is absolutely worth the splurge. It is ideal for couples, solo travelers or anyone wanting a stylish home base while exploring one of Italy’s most enchanting cities.

Savannah Guthrie's Mom: Latest Update From Pima County Sheriff Has 3 Main Takeaways
On Friday, Feb. 27, the Pima County Sheriff's Department shared an update on the Nancy Guthrie case, according to Fox News Digital's Michael Ruiz. Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Authorities believe that Guthrie may have been abducted from her Arizona home in the middle of the night. Despite thousands of tips, neither the Pima County Sheriff's Department nor the FBI has identified a suspect (or suspects) in the case.
On day 27 of Guthrie's disappearance, PCSD maintains that the Guthrie case is an "active investigation" which will continue until Guthrie is located "or all leads have been exhausted."
That said, the department confirmed that resources are being refocused to "detectives specifically assigned" to the case.
On Thursday, Feb. 26, video taken from a street-facing camera at a residence about 2.5 miles from Guthrie's home was shared online. In one of the videos, there's a car seen speeding down a back road just minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker disconnected. According to PCSD, the footage is currently being looked at.
"Investigators are actively reviewing surveillance video of vehicles traveling in the Catalina Foothills area, including areas farther from the Guthrie residence. We have asked homeowners in the surrounding community to submit any relevant footage," the most recent update from the department read.
In a third main point, the department confirmed that there was an arrest made outside of Guthrie's home on Thursday night. Per the update, Antonio De Jesus Pena-Campos, 34, was taken into custody on misdemeanor DUI charges. Despite reports that Pena-Campos was exhibiting strange behavior, Pena-Campos' arrest was "not related to the Guthrie investigation."

(Manny Hernandez/Getty Images)After he was inside Savor Cinema, however, Chase was spotted standing on his own and seated beside Jayni, his wife of 44 years. The couple kissed on the lips at one point, per the Daily Mail.
In 2021, Chase was put into a medically-induced coma during a five-week hospitalization after he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He revealed the health scare and coma in his documentary—also sharing that he suffered from memory loss from the "scary" ordeal.
“Heart failure is what it is,” Chase told People in December 2025. “I’m fine now. It’s just that it affects your memory, and the doctors have told me that, so, I have to be reminded of things.”
“[He] has basically come back from the dead. He had heart failure,” Chase’s daughter, Caley Chase, said in I'm Chevy Chase And You're Not. “The doctor had warned us we might not get him back: ‘We don’t know how present he’ll be. Prepare yourselves for the worst.’ He woke up, all he could do was use his voice.”
Before his heart issues, Chase struggled with painkiller and cocaine abuse in the '80s and alcoholism in the 2010s.

Shoppers Say Costco's 'Sturdy' Foldable Trellis Is So Beautiful, They're Buying Two
To be perfectly honest with you, my backyard could use a major sprucing. And not just because it's been enduring winter, but because, aesthetically, the whole space could use a glow-up. That's in large part due to the cement walls that separate my yard from those of my neighbors. They're just not cute. It's giving prison, not backyard paradise.
As a renter, there's only so much I can do for my outdoor space. I have a veggie garden, patio furniture and solar string lights, but those cement walls are just so gray and sad to look at. To cover them, I'm looking to use some well-placed, tall trellises to give the yard a little more pizzazz.
Stylecraft Foldable Trellis, $99.99 at CostcoCostco
That's actually how I came across Costco's Stylecraft Foldable Trellis, a beautiful piece with a bronze finish that is perfect for outdoor spaces. It's tall, measuring 72.44 inches high, so it works well as a privacy screen or space divider, too.
The fact that the trellis is foldable is a super helpful feature. This way, you can use it in corners if that's the area you're trying to beautify. And the 100 percent steel construction makes it seriously sturdy.
You can use it to give climbing roses, clematis (a pretty flowering vine) or even tomatoes something sturdy to grab onto, instantly adding height and structure to your garden. Tuck it against a fence for extra privacy or prop it behind a planter for a layered look.
Costco members really love this trellis, so much so that they are buying them in multiples.
"Very good quality, fast shipping and good price," said a shopper in their review. "I like the color. It looks perfect with my pink rose bush. I am planning to purchase a second one."
Another customer thinks the trellis's look is beautiful enough to use indoors as well.
"Love the contemporary look of this well-built foldable trellis so much that we went back to purchase another one," they wrote. "Looks great inside also, so husband was going to cut the bottom stakes off so we could use it in the house as a corner divider!"
Whatever your plans are for a foldable trellis, whether inside or outside, this is definitely one to consider. Just note that it's only available online at Costco, you won't find it in the physical warehouse clubs.

Katie Couric Shares JFK Jr.'s Final TV Interview and It Has People in Tears
Ryan Murphy’s new series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette is putting ’90s nostalgia at the forefront of the pop culture zeitgeist. The series, starring Paul Anthony Kellyas JFK Jr. and Sarah Pidgeon as Bessette, is a reminder to fans of the allure, mystique, charm and eloquence of John F. Kennedy Jr. Katie Couric is reflecting on a poignant moment in broadcast history: her interview with Kennedy, which would become his final television appearance before his tragic death.
Katie Couric Reflects on Her Final Interview With JFK Jr.In a post shared to social media Friday, Couric writes:
With so much attention on Ryan Murphy’s new series about JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, the interview I did with John F. Kennedy Jr. in May of 1999 (the last television interview he did before he, Carolyn and her sister Lauren died) is being rewatched, or watched for the first time, by so many people. I wrote about what it’s been like witnessing a new generation be introduced to this mesmerizing couple and how tragic their deaths were for all of us.
The former Today show host shares a poignant portion of her 1999 interview with Kennedy, one in which he reflects on how his mother, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, raised him and his sister Caroline Kennedy despite the glaring spotlight of growing up in America’s most famous and respected political family.

Fans React to the Resurfaced Interview @bouvierkennedyThis interview of John and Oprah is from August 1996. John had asked Oprah not to show any childhood photos of him but she did anyway, and he still went through the interview with class, humility and humor. He was like Jackie in so many ways. || 🚨🚨 be respectful 🚨🚨 || #jfkjr #johnfkennedyjr #oprah #kennedys #history #interview
♬ original sound - bouvierkennedyNostalgic viewers used Couric’s comment section to express longing for the grace of JFK Jr. and the impact of Ryan Murphy’s Love Story series.
“Perfect description of them, mesmerizing. They were magical. Even all these years later it breaks my heart that those three young people were taken from us,” shared one emotional fan. Another added, “He is so well spoken, with so much charisma and heart. You can feel how humble and down to earth he was… so much sparkle in his eyes.”
A teary-eyed viewer added, “Great clip. You almost made him cry. Well done KC.”
“Such a wonderful and treasured interview. JFK Jr. is so missed. He could have had such a great impact on our country,” lamented another.
Inside JFK Jr.’s Final Television AppearanceDuring the sit-down with Katie Couric, Kennedy spoke candidly about his work with George magazine and his desire to make politics more accessible and engaging to a broader audience. Possibly the most memorable and touching part of the conversation is reflected in the clip shared by Couric, in which he comments on his mother’s influence, strength and guidance, offering a rare glimpse into his closely guarded personal life and his deep admiration for his iconic mother.
Just weeks after the interview aired, Kennedy died in a plane crash on July 16, 1999, off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard. He was 38 years old. The tragedy shocked the nation and marked the end of a life that had long fascinated the public.
Revisiting Couric’s interview, the conversation stands as a moving final chapter in Kennedy’s public life — one in which his optimism, devotion to his family and dedication to service set the standard for Americans who viewed John F. Kennedy Jr. as the inspiring heir to the Camelot legacy left by his parents.
Katie Couric writes about Kennedy’s newfound impact on a new generation in her Substack.
