Country Superstar Makes Big Comeback
A country music star is planning a big comeback with her first public appearance since 2025.
According to news station WGN9 Chicago, Dolly Parton will appear in person at the opening of her Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This event will mark her first time back in the public eye after spending the latter part of 2025 and early 2026 appearing at events via videotape.
Parton will reportedly be in attendance to kick off the park's new season. The event takes place on Friday, March 13.
Park officials told the news station that "the plan" is for Parton to participate in the annual “Dolly Homecoming Parade” as the event's Grand Marshal. The entertainer typically rides around in a carriage, waves to fans, and kicks off what she hopes will be another successful season for the theme park.

One year ago, Parton also appeared at Dollywood's kickoff parade, weeks after the death of her husband, Carl Dean, on March 3, 2025, reported WATE. She marked the park's 40th anniversary by saying the event gave her “a great feeling of pride. I feel good. It’s like you give somebody a gift that they’re gonna love and makes you feel good when they really do love it.”

She shared an Instagram statement saying, "As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!"

Iconic 1960s Hitmaker Rushed to LA Hospital After Emergency Call
Iconic singer Neil Sedaka, 86, was taken to the hospital in Los Angeles, California, on February 27, according to TMZ. The media outlet indicated that family sources for Sedaka explained that the singer and songwriter hadn't been feeling well while at home on Friday morning. As a result, he was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Luckily, TMZ added, Sedaka is "recovering" at the hospital. So far, no specifics regarding Sedaka's specific health issues that prompted the emergency call have been released.
TMZ also reported that they spoke with the Los Angeles County West Hollywood sheriff's station about the situation. The sheriff's station confirmed to TMZ that there was a "medical request" call on Friday morning, and both deputies and the fire department responded. Sedaka was taken to the hospital around 8 a.m. Pacific.

Just a few days before Sedaka's hospitalization, he shared a fun video on his Instagram page. The caption read, "'Good Times, Good Music, and Good Friends' - that's always been my philosophy! This track is featured on Steppin' Out, available April 10th. Ii can't wait to share it with you again."
View this post on InstagramEarlier in February, Sedaka announced via Instagram that in celebration of the 50-year anniversary of the release of Steppin' Out, the album would be made available to fans via streaming platforms.
Sedaka has been thrilling fans with his singing and songwriting since the 1950s. He had his first hit in the 50s, but he went on to have an epic career spanning decades. In a post on Facebook, Sedaka's team noted he had hits in four different decades.
His 1959 song about Carol King, "Oh! Carol!," was one of his earliest hits, and he also earned accolades for "Stairway to Heaven," "Laughter in the Rain," and "Bad Blood," among many others.
The Connie Francis song "Stupid Cupid" was written by Sedaka, as was "Where the Boys Are." "Love Will Keep Us Together," performed by The Captin & Tennille, was one of Sedaka's songs, too.
Parade has reached out to Sedaka's team for comment, but has not received a response.

‘Back to the Future’ Star Shares Bloody Photos After Alleged Beating by Ex
Crispin Glover is pushing back hard against allegations made by a former girlfriend—and he’s backing up his claims with photo evidence after a violent altercation.
The Back to the Future actor recently filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging that his ex forced her way into his home in March 2024 after he asked her to leave. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Glover claims he was attempting to place her belongings on the front porch when she entered the residence uninvited.
In the filing, Glover, 61, alleges that his ex called a friend to come to the house and threatened to “hurt” him before physically attacking him. The documents include three photographs that appear to show blood running down the actor’s cheek, along with visible bruising and what he describes as a facial laceration.
Law enforcement also confirmed to the outlet that the woman was arrested on suspicion of felony spousal abuse following the incident. She was taken into custody but later released.
Glover’s filing also references a December 2023 altercation in which he claims his ex threw a piece of luggage at him. While he acknowledged that “it did hurt when the luggage hit me,” he described that specific incident as “minor” and “maybe partially accidental.”
Meanwhile, the woman—identified as Jane Doe in her lawsuit—has sued Glover for manipulation, wrongful eviction, and battery. Glover has denied those claims.
The actor further alleged that his ex secretly recorded a private conversation between them without his consent. According to the restraining order, he believes the recording was made to be shared with others in an effort to create what he considers a false narrative about their relationship.
Despite seeking legal protection, Glover told TMZ he has been unable to formally serve the restraining order because he cannot locate her. A judge ultimately dismissed the request after neither party appeared at the scheduled hearing.
At this time, Glover has not responded to Parade’s request for comment.

Team USA Men’s and Women’s Hockey Stars to Appear Together on ‘The Tonight Show’ Amid Controversy
Team USA hockey stars Hilary Knight, Jack Hughes, and Quinn Hughes will appear together on an upcoming episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
On Monday, Mar. 2, the three hockey standouts will join host Jimmy Fallon for a sit-down interview.
Both the men’s and women’s USA hockey teams defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime for the gold medal at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. Knight served as the captain for the women's team while Jack scored the winning goal for the men's.
The episode will also feature guests Nicole Kidman, Luke Thompson, and a cooking demonstration by Chef Mario Carbone.

The late-night appearance comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding the men's treatment of the women's hockey team.
After the U.S. men won Olympic gold, President Donald Trump jokingly told the team in a locker room phone call that he would be “impeached” if he didn’t also invite the women’s team to White House festivities.
“We’ll just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to—I must tell you—we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that,” the president said as he and the team laughed. “I do believe I probably would be impeached [if I didn’t].”
The president also offered to coordinate military aircraft to fly the men’s team to Washington, D.C. for the State of the Union—which the majority of the team, including both Hughes brothers, ended up attending.
RELATED: Hockey Star Jack Hughes Responds to Backlash Over Trump Joke About Women’s Team
The women’s hockey team declined President Trump‘s invitation to attend the State of the Union, citing prior commitments.
While appearing on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Wednesday, Feb. 25, Knight addressed the president’s comments for the first time, calling it a “distasteful joke.”
“I thought it was sort of a distasteful joke, and unfortunately that is overshadowing a lot of the success, the success of just women at the Olympics carrying for Team USA and having amazing gold medal feats,” Knight said.
Jack, for his part, emphasized the respect the men's team has for their Team USA counterparts after several players, himself included, received criticism for laughing at the president's joke.
“You’re in the moment, the president calls,” Hughes told reporters on Feb. 25. “We’re blaring the music and then they pause the music and then the president calls. I don’t think … obviously, it is what it is now.”
“We have so much respect for the women’s team. They have so much respect for us. We’re all just proud Americans. We’re happy that we both swept the Olympics,” he added.
Quinn is also rumored to be taking part in Saturday Night Live this weekend, hosted by Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams next day on Peacock.
Freddie Mercury Wrote Queen's 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' During a 10-Minute Long Bath
Nowadays, it's easy to credit some of Queen's most influential songs as some of their most famous hits, including their breakthrough 1975 single, "Bohemian Rhapsody", or their 1977 rock anthem, "We Will Rock You."
However, it's worth remembering that their first chart-topping single in the U.S. came with the release of their '50s-inspired 1979 release, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."
Inspired by the peak years of Elvis Presley and his influential era of early rock and rollers, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" wound up climbing to the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100, becoming the band's first certified hit in the U.S. by February 23, 1980, as reported by Discovering Music.
With how popular the tune quickly grew to be by the start of the 1980s, it's amazing to think that Freddie Mercury actually ended up writing the song in under 10 minutes while enjoying a bath in a German hotel room.
“I wrote the song languishing in my bath at the Munich Hilton,” Mercury said in the Billboard Book of Number One Hits, by Fred Bronson (via Discovering Music). With inspiration striking in the middle of the bath, Mercury wound up hopping out of his tub and fleshing out the melody with his guitar and piano.
“We arranged [it] at band rehearsals the following day with me trying to play rhythm guitar," Mercury explained. "Everyone loved it, so we recorded it. The finished version sounded like the bathroom version. It’s not typical of my work, but that’s because nothing is typical of my work.”
Of course, "Crazy Little Thing" provided Queen with another pivotal release that continued their rise to international sensations. Today, it's fondly remembered as one of the band's greatest hits, achieving the same level of fame as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Killer Queen," "Another Bites the Dust" and "Don't Stop Me Now."

In the comments, Bruce's followers joined him in welcoming the new feathered family member.

Netflix Drops Warner Bros. Deal, CNN Fears Disaster Is Coming — What It All Means for Viewers
TV land is in flux, with Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount, and CNN in the eye of the storm.
Overnight, news broke that Netflix had officially stepped away from the deal to buy Warner Bros. Discovery, sharing the following in a statement:
“Netflix is a great company and throughout this process Ted, Greg, Spence and everyone there have been extraordinary partners to us. We wish them well in the future,” WBD CEO David Zaslav said, referring to Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters, along with CFO Spencer Neumann. “Once our Board votes to adopt the Paramount merger agreement, it will create tremendous value for our shareholders. We are excited about the potential of a combined Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery and can’t wait to get started working together telling the stories that move the world.”
The turn sent Netflix’s stock soaring, with shares of Warner Bros. Discovery dipping, per CNBC. But it's another ripple effect that has people talking today: the tsunami coming for CNN.
With the offer from Paramount now looking "superior," the potential shakeup has folks at the cable news network, whose parent company is WBD, bracing for impact.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, many inside CNN have been “grappling” with the fact that their network may be undergoing “radical change” once the bid for their parent company is settled, as they've seen just that play out over on CBS.
In recent months, Paramount, the new owners of CBS, have overhauled the network under CEO David Ellison’s leadership, with The Free Press' Bari Weiss made editor-in-chief of CBS News.
“We are not producing a product that enough people want,” Weiss told CBS News staff last month, per THR. “We can blame demographics or technology or fractured attention spans or ‘news avoidance,’ but these are all copes.”
In the likely event Paramount are the winning bidders in the race to own WBD, then that change might be coming for CNN, too. For you, the viewer, the reason this power play matters is because it could change what shows make it to your screen and how news is delivered.
Per THR, some of the voices that will be louder once the sale is inked could include Chris Wallace, the son of former 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace and the longtime Fox News host who later had his own show on CNN, The Chris Wallace Show. He left CNN in 2024, then joined RedBird Capital Partners, Ellison’s financial and operating partner at Paramaount, a year later as a senior adviser.
RedBird's board also includes Vanity Fair’s Graydon Carter and CNN’s former president Jeff Zucker. Their involvement could mean new or condensed programming; consolidation of content that will fundamentally change how you access movies, TV, and news; partisan-leaning news coverage; or the end of the network altogether.
Fears are running high among CNN staffers following WBD’s decision to abandon a Netflix deal in favor of Paramount Skydance.
• There is palpable dread among CNN employees, according to three sources familiar with the network.

According to The Wrap, “People think it could be the end of CNN,” the outlet reported a staffer telling them. “ As much as people say that’s not possible, what’s to say that’s not possible?”
Breaking the news on his CNN show The Lead With Jake Tapper, per Variety, Jake Tapper said, “We have some breaking news in our national lead that affects everybody I’m looking at right now in the studio.”
It's no secret President Donald Trump, who frequently targets CNN stalwarts like Kaitlan Collins, Brianna Keilar, and Erin Burnett, has wanted to take a wrecking ball to CNN for some time.
“I think the people that have run CNN for the last long period of time are a disgrace" he told reporters in December, per CNN. "I think it’s imperative that CNN be sold."
The Wall Street Journal also reported at the time that Ellison promised to make significant changes at the channel, though the specifics are not known.
This story is unfolding.

Mark Ballas Reveals Why He Backed Down From Voting Rob Out on 'The Traitors' (Exclusive)
The Traitors Season 4 has arrived! Throughout the season, Mike Bloom will speak with someone from the star-studded cast who was murdered or banished on the iconic Peacock reality series.
Like any choreographed routine, Mark Ballas knew every step of The Traitors dance before setting foot in Scotland. The Dancing with the Stars superfan was a self-proclaimed superfan of the show, as well as social strategy games like Survivor. And so he knew the key to longevity as a Faithful: Be seen and not heard. Even though it seemed like Mark was sitting back in the first half of the game, letting the bigger personalities come to the forefront, he was locking in with a select group of people: Kristen Kish, Stephen Colletti, and Eric Nam.
While the coalition made an impressively deep run in the game, it was only a matter of time before the background players moved to the forefront. Eric was recruited by Rob Rausch behind the scenes, and he quickly committed his first betrayal when he joined the majority that banished Stephen. Kristen was then immediately murdered, leaving Mark as a solo act in an endgame full of partners. When Natalie Anderson opted to go against Rob, Mark seemed keen to jump on the Survivor winner's big move. But Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir relenting ultimately had him putting that flip on ice.
Instead, he watched Natalie go, and made plans for his next step: Going after Eric. Unfortunately, he told this plan to the exact wrong person in Rob. Wanting to stay in his traitorous couple, the Love Island alum made the push to make Mark their final murder victim, too dangerous to keep. And so the man Lisa Rinna originally thought was Kenny G went out in a fiery note, put in a coffin that was set aflame.
Now out of the game, Mark talks with Parade about why he didn't ultimately go through with voting Rob out, the unseen alliance he formed in the very beginning, and his regrets about not targetiing Tara and Johnny sooner.
Related: Does Rob Rausch Have a Girlfriend? (And Is It Maura Higgins?!)
Let's start with how things ended. How surprised were you when Alan named you as the one who would go in the coffin?
I knew it. I knew it immediately. If you watched it back before the cliffhanger, look at my face. I knew it was me. I just knew it. Because when you're in my position, I was a lone wolf at this time. Stephan and Kristen had been taken away from me. They were my alliance, and Eric had been flipped. So I knew that Eric was a Traitor, but the conversation that day was all about Natalie and Rob. So even if I had tried to make a move on Eric — and I had floated the name of Eric. You saw me talk to Rob about it...obviously the wrong person to talk to. [Laughs.]
But I'd also floated him to Tara and Natalie in the billiard room. But they were super fixated on Rob at this point. And then the rest of the castle is looking at Natalie. So if you're looking at numbers, Johnny and Tara, they're a duo, right? Maura and Rob are a duo. Eric's now a Traitor, and we just lost Natalie. And I'm also the swing vote. I think it's kind of clear that I was open. I knew I was in a in a position of, "I've got to do whatever it takes."
We need to talk about the Round Table before you were murdered. There's been a lot of discourse aobut how, between Natalie, Tara, Johnny and you, you had the votes to banish Rob. So what made you ultimately decide to not vote for him?
I was open to take the shot at Rob at the last Round Table.. We didn't end up firing the shot. It's actually a really hard situation to be in. When Tara and Natalie came to me about it, I was definitely open, but I was very adamant. Like, "Look, if we're taking the shot, it's got to hit." I didn't want to be in a position where I was blowing up my relationship with a potential Traitor with one murder to go.
Now there is something to be said that maybe I could have fired the one warning shot, like the solo shot. And maybe that would have had him not kill me, because then it would have been too obvious. But me and Rob had remained close. And I wrote him afterwards. I was like, "Hey, if I had fired that shot at you, would you have still murdered me?" He was like, "Yeah, absolutely." So he absolutely knew, if he had taken me further, that there was a chance that I would have figured it out.
But I was on to Eric. I love Eric. I'd worked with him the whole game; he was in my alliance. I think it was hard to accept. But I just didn't have the numbers to make a move. Honestly, we could "should have, could have, would have" all day. But did the best I could with the info I had at that time. You know what I mean? I was in a hard situation.
You mentioned your alliance. I know you've talked in the past about how you formed an early group with you, Eric, Kristen and Stephen. Talk to me more about how that came together.
I mean, I think going into this, I've watched a lot of The Traitors in different countries. England and America, New Zealand, Australia. And I've watched a lot of Survivor. So going into this, I kind of knew, "Look, you don't want to be too quiet, but you don't want to be too loud. You don't want to lead, but you want to be muscle." It is a numbers game after all, you have to kind of run the combos the best you can. And when it's early on, like, it's really hard to gauge. It all feels very real when you're there; it's very difficult.
You also just can't vote with the village. You have to show that you're willing to listen at the Round Table. And if you come in with a plan that the Round Table, can you turn it around for you, that you're not just gonna go, "Well, this is what it is"? I think I showed that with the Johnny Weir episode. All roads were pointing to him at that point. He was trying to pull votes off Lisa at one point and move it to Natalie when we were all about to take a shot at Lisa. Candiace was pushing him to go get a shield. That was very suspicious. We also had the Tara/Natalie debacle at the banquet, which had so many unanswered questions.
But when I talked at the Round Table and he defended himself, I believed him. I believed him. So I wanted to make it clear, like, "Look, I believe you. I'm not voting for you tonight." The vote ended up going to Stephen. I was never going to vote for Stephen because he was in my alliance. And so I ended up actually throwing my vote at Tara because I knew that she would forgive me. Out of all the players left, I knew that I could take Tara in the hall and say, "Look, I'm sorry. I had had to vote for somebody, but I didn't want to vote for Johnny, your boy, because I believed him." There is something to be said now in hindsight, that maybe we should have broke Johnny and Tara up. Do you watch Survivor?
I've dabbled in it a bit.
In Survivor rules, you're not letting duos progress in the game. If Boston Rob and Amber are in the game, you're breaking it up. You know what I mean? But we didn't know until around this time how close they were. We knew they knew each other. We knew they had a history. But we didn't know it was "my bestie for the restie." So that was definitely something that maybe in hindsight, we should have looked at.
As you mentioned, Eric was part of your alliance. What exactly changed about his behavior that had you so suspicious of him towards the end of the game?
Look, Eric, he's very poised and quite laid back guy in general. I wouldn't say that he walked in the breakfast room and we were like [Dramatically shifts gaze.] It was just throughout the day, he got increasingly quieter. We're in there for 10 hours; you guys only get to see an hour of it. And the Round Table itself was an hour. And he always had good theories and good ideas to bounce off. And I remember just having moments where we were chatting, and usually that A/B conversation, that back and forth, was just a lot more limited.
Now, that said, that's not a reason to go after someone. Look, we're exhausted. We're tired. Imagine going to play Mafia at a friend's house. You probably play for two hours. This has been four weeks now. So you're exhausted. But I will say, when we got to the Round Table, it didn't make the cut. But I turned and I was like, "Are you gonna say something today?!" That was where we really started to see him kind of kind of shell up, which was hard to accept.
Because you gotta also understand this. When Eric was recruited, it was an ultimatum. There was a murder as usual, because if he had turned it down, he would have been murdered on the spot. But because he accepted, Dorinda was murdered. So typically. when there's a recruitment, everyone comes back to breakfast and we're like, "There's been a recruitment." Usually someone doesn't get murdered the same night.
So it just felt like business as usual. However, we didn't understand the nuances of if it was an ultimatum, because it was later in the game. And typically, the recruited player would then say, "Oh, I got the letter. I turned it down." Or they would keep it close to their chest because they don't want to rock the boat. I mean, sweet Eric. I love him.
Let's say you were not in that coffin and survived to the final Round Table. What was your plan moving forward?
I mean, look, I think it's hard to say what I would have done because I didn't get to do that. I would like to think that the move is now, unfortunately for me, if I had made it, I would have had to push all my chips in probably on Johnny and Tara. Let's say Johnny goes in the coffin. I would have needed Tara and Maura. We would have probably had to have gone for Eric, because there's no way Maura is turning on Rob at this point. Tara is the only one looking at Rob.
So I would have then had to push all my chips in on Tara Lipinski, who I get along with, great. And I adore her, and we were getting close. We were always friendly, and bounced the ideas off each other in the game. But her and Johnny, that's their alliance, and me and Kristen was our alliance. But we would liaise, you know? So let's say I would have been needed to get Eric out. It then would have been me and Tara versus Rob and Maura. So, God, I don't even know how that plays out.
So you would have kept your sights on Rob?
Yeah, because, that was the first day I was really looking. And again, because I was alone, I was I was open. But I said to Tara, "If we're taking the shot, it's got to hit." And the thing for me is, at the Round Table where I was sitting, Tara is sat next to me. And she wasn't the the stealthiest. I could see her vote, because there's so little people. And what does that mean? If I can see her vote, that's Johnny's vote, because they vote in tandem. I think they only voted out of sync one time.
So after the we met, there was a push for Rob, there was a conversation. I wouldn't say it was a concrete plan, but it was a discussion. And then we got into Tara and Natalie 4.0 at the table, like unanswered questions about the banquet. That went on for every table from the banquet, there was always a Tara and Natalie conversation. Neither of them needed the antidote; it turned into a thing.
So when I looked over at her and I saw that she was voting Natalie, I had two choices. One, vote with the village. Try to save face, try to slide into the final and just cross that bridge when you get to it. Or be the sole shot for Rob. What would you have done? Would you vote with the village, or would you have been the one shot with one murder to go and blow up your relationship with a potential Traitor?

Donna Kelce Responds to Speculation About Using Weight Loss Drugs
Setting the record straight! Donna Kelce responded to a fan who suggested that she used weight loss medication to achieve her slimmed-down appearance.
After the Kelce Brothers' official Facebook page posted a photo of Donna, 73, from the most recent season of The Traitors, someone commented, “Weight loss drugs worked!” seemingly referring to medications like Zepbound, Ozempic, and the like.
“I did it myself with intermittent fasting. Thanks, about 30 pounds over a year,” Travis and Jason Kelce’s mom clarified.

(Photo by Vivien Killilea/Getty Images for American Eagle)Donna also shut down another person who commented, “That’s a man,” on the photo. "I am as tall as one … Bahahaha but I have the cesarean scars to prove I gave birth," she replied.
Clearly, Donna has no issue speaking up for herself, and she certainly has no problem speaking up for her sons.

Currently, it’s unclear whether or not Travis, 36, will be continuing his professional football career with the Kansas City Chiefs. The three-time Super Bowl champion has been with the Chiefs for 13 seasons, and his contract is up in March.
There’s a lot of speculation as to what Travis, who is engaged to pop star Taylor Swift, will do, especially considering the Chiefs had a rough go of it last season, ending with a 6-11 record.
No matter what Travis decides, Mama Kelce supports him! “I just want him to do what he feels comfortable doing. He’s gotta talk to people in his life to decide what he wants to do. So I’m not sure. We’ll see what happens!” she told TMZ earlier this month.

Jewelry brands are a dime a dozen, and finding one that offers quality can feel daunting at times. Luckily, the pros we polled offered a few tips for finding a brand with pieces that are built to last.
For starters, consider the metal used to create the jewelry.
"Generally speaking, precious metals = higher quality," Brown notes. "The thickness and sturdiness of a piece will drive the cost up, but also the quality."
Researching a brand online or visiting its store (if they have one) can help you get a sense of the quality of their items, as can customer reviews. Conroy also has a clever way to find unknown brands that offer quality products.
"Just like you'd go to the farmer's market for mouthwatering bites and produce, look for jewelry shows and handmade markets, aka local spots that feature up-and-coming designers and independent brands," she shares. "They'll have a lineup of talented artisans who have put their heart and soul into quality jewelry."
