Will Gypsy Rose Blanchard be on next season of Dancing With The Stars?

On Thursday, Feb. 26, the real-life inspiration behind Hulu's The Act took to Instagram to share a dancing video. In the clip, Gypsy sports a long, sleek hairdo and performs her own choreography to Ed Sheeran's "Shivers."

"Sometimes when a song hits just right. 😊," she captioned the post.

In the comment section, one fan suggested she should be on the next season of the ABC reality series, writing, "Get her on Dancing With The Stars 💃👏🏻👏🏻."

Gypsy agreed, writing back to the commenter, "Well if they had Anna Delvey on it, I’m sure they could have me lol."

Anna Delvey was on season 33 of DWTS in 2024 and was eliminated first with her partner Ezra Sosa. Delvey's casting was controversial at the time, as she had previously been convinced of multiple counts of grand larceny, attempted grand larceny, and theft of services after pretending to be a wealthy heiress in New York.

Gypsy, for her part, pled guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for her role in conspiring to kill her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison for orchestrating the murder with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, following years of being abused by Dee Dee via Munchausen syndrome by proxy. 

Gypsy was released on parole in December 2023 and has since welcomed daughter Aurora with boyfriendKen Urker.

Gypsy previously discussed the possibility of joining DWTS or The Masked Singer during her appearance on the “MisSPELLING” podcast with Tori Spelling in June 2025.

“I feel like I’m not talented with anything. I can’t sing, I can’t dance,” Gypsy told Spelling at the time.

The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star also said she’s never been approached by DWTS before, which took Spelling by surprise.

“I mean, I never put myself out there in that way. I was always trying to pick projects that focused on sharing my story,” Gypsy explained. “So it’s like I never kind of dove into reality TV other than that.”

Spelling, who competed on DWTS season 33 alongside Delvey, then offered to text the show’s producer to ask about casting Gypsy in an upcoming season.

“You’re going to do Dancing with the Stars. It’s a pass on Masked Singer,” Spelling said.

Some fans of The View say they plan to sit out next week’s episodes after the show announced that a former co-host will return to the table. The news sparked chatter online, with many viewers reacting negatively to the news after it was shared on social media.

"NEXT WEEK: Our friend and former co-host @elisabethhasselbeck joins us to guest co-host all week long," read the caption of a post on The View's official Instagram account.

The comments section quickly filled with people saying they wouldn't be tuning in.

"I’ll be taking a break from my daily dose of The View. I can’t stomach her," one person wrote.

"Guess I’ll be missing another week! I don’t understand why this is happening," someone else said.

"Guess I'm watching the price is right this week again," a third comment read.

"I will DEFINITELY not be watching," another Instagram user added.

Hasselbeck was a co-host on The View for 10 seasons, starting in November 2003 until she left the show in July 2013. She decided to leave the program to join "Fox & Friends," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"I have been a longtime fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September," Hasselbeck previously said of the move. "It is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home."

Hasselbeck was a controversial figure on The View as she was the outspoken conservative voice in a liberal-leaning panel, which includes Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.

Her return to the table isn't her first since her departure. In 2019, Hasselbeck appeared on the program to promote her book, Point of View: A Fresh Look at Work, Faith, and Freedom.

"I feel like I grew up here. I had babies here, it’s like a family—so this actually feels really good. I have to say, I’m thankful," she said on the program.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are still beaming over their September 2025 nuptials. While the newlyweds shared a handful of stunning snapshots from their big day on Instagram — including the Rare Beauty founder's three breathtaking Ralph Lauren gown changes — they've largely kept the intimate details of their celebration private, choosing to hold onto many of those special memories.

However, Blanco recently revealed one wedding detail fans didn't see coming. In a new interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Feb. 26, the music producer shared that the couple's officiant was actually a big-name celebrity who is incredibly close to him. So close, in fact, that he trusted him to lead his ceremony.

That person? Rapper Lil Dicky.

The rapper, whose real name is David Burd, joined Blanco that night, where they chatted about their weddings (Burd married his wife, Kristin Batalucco, in August 2025) with Lil Dicky calling their big days "the best nights of our lives."

He then shared, "We were heavily involved [in each other's weddings]. We didn't each have a best man, but I officiated his and he gave the speech from like my male point of view at my wedding, and it was great." Blanco added, "It was incredible. Unbelievable."

The men went on to share that Gomez even called her now-husband ahead of the ceremony to make sure the rapper didn't accidentally include any personal stories or sentiments in his officiant speech that she planned to save in her own vows.

"She said, ‘Hey, just make sure Dave doesn’t say anything about this part or this part because it’s part of my speech,' " Blanco told the host. “And that was the whole opening three minutes of his speech.”

According to The Knot, Gomez and Blanco's wedding took place at Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara, California, with the couple having a star-studded guest list that included Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton, and Gomez's Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

The couple enlisted Michelin-starred chef Wolfgang Puck to curate their menu, ensuring an unforgettable culinary experience. They also added a personal touch to the celebration with a custom outdoor food stand that featured seafood, lamb, and vegetarian options.

Sony Pictures announced on X this Friday that the iconic coming-of-age movie Stand By Me will be showing in theaters on March 27 for one week only to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Released in the United States on Aug. 22, 1986, Stand By Me followed four 12-year-old boys— Gordie Lachance, Chris Chambers, Teddy Duchamp and Vern Tessio — as they went on a hike overnight to find a missing child's body. The film is based on Stephen King's novella, The Body, which was originally published in his short story collection titled Different Seasons.

Directed by the late Rob Reiner, the main ensemble included River Phoenix, Wil Wheaton, Corey Feldman and Jerry O'Connell playing the four boys. Other cast members included Kiefer Sutherland, Richard Dreyfuss, John Cusack, Rick Elliott and Susan Thorpe.

Still to this day, many have called the movie "one of the greatest films to come out of the '80s" and considered it a classic coming-of-age story. When Stand By Me was released 40 years ago, it was a commercial success and received positive reviews from critics. In addition, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and Golden Globe awards for Best Drama Motion Picture and Best Director.

The town that the story is based on, Brownsville, Oregon, even holds an annual "Stand By Me Day," which started in 2007 to increase tourism. At the event, they have cast and crew Q&A sessions, a pie-eating contest and an outdoor showing of the movie.

When it was announced last December that the director and actor Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their home in Los Angeles, King submitted a guest essay to The New York Times, sharing the story of his first time watching Stand By Me with Reiner.

"I was surprised by how deeply affected I was by its 89 minutes. I’ve written a lot of fiction, but The Body remains the only nakedly autobiographical story I’ve ever done," wrote King. "Those kids were my friends. We never walked down a railroad track to see a dead body, but we got up to other stuff. The story was about my reality as I had lived it on the dirt roads of southern Maine. There really was a junkyard dog, although his name wasn’t Chopper. There really was a kid who went swimming and came out covered with leeches in surprising areas, but it wasn’t Gordie Lachance; it was me."

Tickets to see Stand By Me in movie theaters from March 27 to April 2 are available now. The movie can also be streamed on Netflix or purchased for $3.99 on Apple TV and Fandango at Home.

Bridgerton Season 4 certainly had its jaw-dropping and scandalous moments, but fans can't get past Benedict's (Luke Thompson) actions towards his mother that many are categorizing as "slut chaming" and "appalling." Did Benedict go too far in exposing his mother's relationship?

Benedict has a hard time grappling with his love for Sophie (Yerin Ha) and how it could jeopardize his family's standing in society. In Episode 5, Sophie learns that Lady Araminta (Katie Leung) is the Bridgertons new neighbor during Hyacinth's (Florence Hunt) ball and excuses herself. Benedict runs after her until his mother stops him. By this point, Lady Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) is well aware of their feelings, but too worries of the relationship being forbidden or illegitimate in the ton.

Lady Bridgerton warns her son of how "inappropriate" it is before Benedict explodes in anger. He calls out his mother for her own "inappropriate" relationship with Lord Anderson (Daniel Francis), who isn't her husband. Benedict also throws in his mother's face of her sexual relations while her younger children are down the hall. The scene, safe to say, didn't go over well with Bridgerton fans.

"Violet has been a widow for YEARS now and she told Gregory and Hyacinth about Marcus coming to the ball BEFORE it started and they didn’t have any issue with it. So for Benedict to come and speak to her like this and treat her so poorly is appalling to me," said one fan on X.

Another fan chimed in saying, "I didn’t like how he handled her here.. i understand he was worried but he’s literally screaming in his moms face when she’s trynna warning him— making a scene, then he makes an even bigger one AND hurts her feelings in the process..like let’s chill for 2 seconds pls!!"

Other fans call out the hypocrisy of Benedict's statement towards his mother, bringing back his actions from prior seasons, taking part in intercourse parties, mistresses, and one-night stands. Many were dismayed to see how Benedict acted towards his mother, but others have played devil's advocate in his defense.

"tbf, I don't think Benedict cares what his mother does to please her happiness. This came from hypocrisy of Violet caring about what society thinks of him liking a maid when she's doing something society wouldn't approve of either. So the thought of her lecturing him about what society approves of is something that appalled him," said one fan.

"He don’t have any issues with it either, he is just saying that she is an hypocrite, she is also doing something that society will not accept having sex with a man but not being married to him," said another.

Later on in the season, Lady Bridgerton does see her relationship with Lord Anderson in a new light. She also has a heart-to-heart with Benedict about the reality of the person he loves and its sacrifices, while also realizing for herself just how she and her son are alike.

Nintendo has officially pulled back the curtain on the 10th generation of Pokémon—and fans finally have something big to look forward to.

During the finale of its annual Pokémon Presents livestream on Friday, February 27, held in celebration of the series’ 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company unveiled Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, two new titles launching together in 2027 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

The upcoming games promise an open-world experience set across a chain of windswept islands surrounded by ocean. According to the official description per IGN, “these new titles feature an open world to explore, with beautiful windswept islands and a vast ocean with glittering waves.” Players will encounter Pokémon that “have developed their own unique ecosystems” and will “team up with all kinds of Pokémon to overcome both the difficult road ahead and even the forces of nature that block your path at times.”

The trailer offers Nintendo fans a first look at the new region, including dense jungles, mangrove swamps, lava-filled caves, underwater coral reefs, and even a futuristic resort complete with water flumes. Underwater gameplay appears to be a major feature, and  visually, it’s arguably the most polished Pokémon title to date.

Following tradition, three new starter Pokémon will anchor the adventure: Grass-type bird Browt, Fire-type dog Pombon, and a Water-type gecko Gecqua.

The reveal also introduced two vacation-ready Pikachu characters—Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu. “Just how could these Pikachu be involved in your adventure?” the Pokémon Company wrote on X.

However, fans seem to have mixed reviews on the upcoming release.

“It actually looks good from a graphical and visual perspective. And releasing it next year is a good sign… please take your time and make it great!!!” one fan shared on X.

Another excited fan exclaimed, “PLSSS I squealed,” while a third agreed, “Yeah, i'm sold.”

Others weren’t as easy to please: “Why are we using the same terrible world textures everyone hated form s/v????” one asked with three crying emojis.

Another stated, “Horrible starters, graphics still look mid.”

To that end, the company is stocking three new dishes at Costco locations nationwide in the form of the following new frozen products:

• Custard-Filled Panda Buns: Modeled after the adorable animals that bear its name, these buns are filled with rich custard, affording shoppers a surprisingly sweet dessert option they might never have expected.
• Pork Soup Dumplings: Traditional porksoup dumplings, featuring tender pork, savory broth and a delicate wonton exterior.

As expected from an announcement as exciting as this one, Synear Food's new lineup of Costco products has met with an altogether glowing response from fans across social media.

Soccer star Megan Rapinoe is standing by the U.S. Women's Olympic Hockey Team.

During the Thursday, Feb. 26 episode of her A Touch More podcast, which Rapinoe cohosts with her partner, former basketball player Sue Bird, she shared her thoughts on the viral phone call between President Donald Trump and the men's team—revealing where she thinks the latter went wrong.

Rapinoe described the incident as "a classic ripping defeat from the jaws of victory" and said that the men's team "ruined" the joy of their Olympic gold medal win "in their utter moment of glory."

She also claimed the team "ruined it for themselves because they allowed themselves to be totally co-opted by a clown," adding, "And now you're a clown. You look like a clown."

Rapinoe then called out the men's team for laughing at Trump's joke, which she said "isn't even that funny from a technical joke standpoint."

"You just accomplished this amazing thing," she continued. "I'm like, 'You have the medal! You have the medal swinging around your neck that you won, that you fought for, that you dreamt about your whole life.' And then you just gave this whole moment over to this person, who you know is just only going to use it for him. He's going to totally co-opt it."

Both Rapinoe and Bird noted that the men and women's hockey teams have a close relationship and questioned why the men would laugh at a joke at their friends' expense.

"Why don't you respect [yourself] enough to not be used in this moment—for this unique achievement that is truly one of the greatest achievements in life, I think, because it's like a childhood fairytale—and now this is what people think about your moment," Rapinoe said. "And that sucks."

After the U.S. Men's Hockey Team won Olympic gold, President Donald Trump jokingly told the team in a locker room phone call that he would be “impeached” if he didn’t also invite the women’s team—who also won a gold medal—to White House festivities.

“We’ll just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to—I must tell you—we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that,” the president said as he and the team laughed. “I do believe I probably would be impeached [if I didn’t].” 

The president also offered to coordinate military aircraft to fly the men’s team to Washington, D.C. for the State of the Union—which the majority of the team ended up attending.

The women’s hockey team declined President Trump‘s invitation to attend the State of the Union, citing prior commitments.

While appearing on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Wednesday, Feb. 25, Hilary Knight, team captain for the women, addressed the president’s comments for the first time, calling it a “distasteful joke.”

“I thought it was sort of a distasteful joke, and unfortunately that is overshadowing a lot of the success, the success of just women at the Olympics carrying for Team USA and having amazing gold medal feats,” Knight said.

For her part, Rapinoe said in 2019 that she was “not going to the f---ing White House” if the U.S. women’s soccer team won the World Cup that year. After the team secured the championship, they declined President Trump’s invitation to visit the White House, opting instead to travel to the U.S. Capitol at the invitation of then–House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

In the comments, many followers flooded Amy with praise after noticing her lazy eye had been corrected.

"AMY! Your surgery went amazing," one person declared. "You look beautiful, and I’m so happy for you and your family and your new husband ❤️."

Another exclaimed, "You look great, Amy!!! So happy you got your eye fixed and you feel more confident, girl❤️," as a different follower echoed, "The eyes look great!"

Someone else shared, "I cried when you were told your eye can be fixed..beyond happy for you…you look beautiful! 🖤🤗."

A different Instagram user commented, "How does it feel @amyslaton_halterman having that eye surgery? You look great!"

However, others couldn't help but point out the AI-sounding nature of Amy's caption, as well as the potential of the photo being AI-generated.

One follower wrote, "Amy, my ChatGPT queen 😂❤️," as a second shared, "Another AI photo."

Someone else commented, "Guys, this is an AI image of Amy, love her, but this is not her."

Yet another echoed, "Amy, I love your outfit, but please stop using AI and ChatGPT!"

In a 2015 YouTube video, Amy explained that she had ocular toxoplasmosis, which caused scarring on her retina. This left her legally blind in one eye and caused a lazy eye.

Fifty-five years ago today, on Feb. 27, 1971, five months after her death, Janis Joplin’s final studio album began a nine-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The album was Pearl.

Released on Jan. 11, 1971, just three months after Joplin died of a heroin overdose at age 27, Pearl became the biggest album of her career—and the only one to reach No. 1.

It would go on to hold the top spot for nine weeks.

Recorded with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, her final touring unit, the album captured Joplin at a new creative peak. Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, best known for his work with The Doors, the record had a more polished sound than her earlier releases, but lost none of her raw vocal power.

The album featured her posthumous No. 1 single “Me and Bobby McGee,” written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1971, becoming the only No. 1 single of Joplin’s career.

Pearl also included “Move Over,” “Cry Baby,” “Trust Me” and “Get It While You Can.”

One track stands apart because she's not on it.

“Buried Alive in the Blues” was left as an instrumental because Joplin died before recording her vocals for it. The band chose not to replace her, leaving the song as a stark reminder of what was lost.

Her final recording session took place on Oct. 1, 1970, when she recorded the a cappella “Mercedes Benz” in a single take.

It was the last song she ever recorded.

Pearl ultimately went quadruple Platinum and was later ranked No. 259 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. They wrote of the album, "On Pearl, Janis Joplin finally made a solo album worthy of her mighty blues-mama voice."

And for nine straight weeks, America agreed.

Last night, ultimate funnyman Jim Carrey attended the 51st César Awards in Paris to accept an honorary award. Amazing for the actor, but it’s his acceptance speech that has people talking today.

Taking to the mic, the Canadian-born actor gave a five-minute speech … entirely in French. During the speech, the Dumb and Dumber actor got emotional while mentioning his family, namely his girlfriend, grandson, and daughter, who attended the show with Carrey, and late father, Percy Carrey.

We hear you: Min Ah! Who is she? Well, we're not sure just yet. According to People, it's also unclear how long the two have been together. Per the outlet, in February 2022, Just Jared identified Min Ah as Minzi, "a Los Angeles-area actress and artist, when the outlet published photos of her and Carrey leaving a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow at Largo in L.A."

Staying true to character, Carrey also apologized to the awards crowd for his “almost mediocre” French, quipping, "My tongue is tired." The audience did not seem to mind, though. Before he even began speaking, they were on their feet, giving the Liar Liar comedian a standing ovation for several minutes.

Frequent collaborator Michel Gondry, who directed the Carrey and Kate Winslet vehicle, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, introduced Carrey, who follows Julia Roberts as the awards' international recipient. According to Film Enthusiast, the Honorary César Award is one of France’s highest film honors, “celebrating Carrey’s decades-long impact on comedy and film.” 

Also on the lips of everyone today? Carrey’s long, black hair. Sporting longer locks and jet-black tux, the actor had fans doing double takes.

Following the honor, Carrey spoke with reporters.

"It was a pretty big challenge trying to do my speech in French,” he told them. “I wrote it, and I researched it, and I practiced it like crazy," he said, adding “I watched everybody talking a thousand miles an hour up there, accepting their awards, and I was like, 'I’m dead.' I made mistakes and I was, like, a novice, but I felt a lot of love. And I felt a lot of appreciation that i tried."

Ryan Goslingis sharing his thoughts about his wife, fellow movie star Eva Mendes, admitting she's "jealous" of his Project Hail Mary co-star, the puppet Rocky.

In a February 2026 interview with Access Hollywood, Gosling discussed playing middle school science teacher and the eventual savior of Earth, Dr. Ryland Grace, in the upcoming sci-fi film, Project Hail Mary, based on Andy Weir's 2021 novel. Gosling noted that Ryland is accompanied by a faceless, helpful alien, Rocky, while on a space station. According to Gosling, Rocky's movements were controlled by a team of puppeteers. He quipped that the puppet is "a bit of a diva" and "very high maintenance."

"We called them the Rocketeers. There were six puppeteers that were with him at all times. But you know what, Rocky as a character, it takes a lot," said Gosling during the Access Hollywood interview. "He takes up a lot of space. He's got a lot of ideas. He's got a lot of things that he needs. And so it's just that the process of working with Rocky on set was very much kind of mirrored what it was like, I think, in the story for these characters."

He also referenced that his wife commented on Gosling's bond with Rocky on Instagram.

"His only costar I’ve ever been jealous of…Rocky. They spent wayyy too much time together. They even got each others rings. WTF!!?" quipped Mendes in her February 2026 comment.

Gosling told Access Hollywood that he "thinks [his wife] is jealous of him because she loves him too." The Barbie star also noted that Rocky is a beloved character among fans of Weir's book.

"He's such a lovable character. People love Rocky so much. The fans of the book are so protective of how we handled this that it was beautiful. I'm so excited for the world to get to meet Rocky and get to have him in their life because it's been a joy to have him for the last five years," said Gosling in the February 2025 interview.

Gosling also revealed that he and Mendes' two children, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, 9, have seen "multiple" cuts of the upcoming film.

"They give me lots of notes. They're the, you know, basically like the only critics I care about. They are very critical and very honest, it's just always better," said Gosling with a laugh.

The release date of Project Hail Mary is March 20.

After nearly a year of speculation, Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo is opening up about her romance with Joe D'Amelio, referring to him as “really fun” and saying that the relationship is “very relaxing."

Rumors that DeSorbo was dating D'Amelio arose shortly after her breakup with Southern Charm's Craig Conover in Nov. 2024. Now, she's confirming the relationship sharing that the couple is exclusive.

DeSorbo reflected on the challenges of dating somone in the public eye. “It was such a balancing act,” she remarked. “I feel like when I was on reality TV — I started when I was 25 — it feels very, like, that was my 20s. Obviously, I’m in charge of my own decisions and stuff [now]. So it’s nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don’t [with] personal stuff.”

She shared in a Feb. 20 episode of her Giggly Squad podcast why she hasn't been open about her dating life post Conover. "And, obviously, there's so many reasons why I never talk about dating a man or, like, being with a man," she said. "Even [on] Valentine's Day, people were like, 'Obviously you're in a man's bedroom because it has no artwork. The bed's unmade. Like what's going on here? Is that a jail cell?' There's so many different reasons why. One, I feel like because I was like had such public relationships and like the court of public opinion is not healthy. But two is because I'm like, 'What the hell does he have to do with my personality?'

Popular rock festival, When We Were Young, which has previously featured big names like Blink-182, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day, announced it will not host its Las Vegas concert for 2026. The event announced the cancellation in an Instagram post shared on Feb. 27, 2026 following speculation from fans.

"The songs, the memories, the moments-none of it exists without you," said the post. "After an unforgettable run in Las Vegas, we've decided to take 2026 off to give this festival the care it deserves and to make sure what comes next feels just as special as what came before."

Luckily for fans, this will just be a one-year hiatus, with the group immediately announcing plans for next year. "When We Were Young Festival will return to Las Vegas in October 2027," they explained. "That you for showing up with your whole hearts every year. This isn't goodbye. It's just a pause."

The festival first launched at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in 2022, headlined by My Chemical Romance and Paramore and featuring many alternative, pop punk, hardcore and emo bands, some of which hadn't toured in years.

Fans came out in droves, selling out two full weekends of the event very quickly. Unfortunately, the very first day was cancelled due to extremely high winds in the area. The next year three years would only be one weekend, and the 2025 version did not sell out either day, sparking concerns of waning interest. When the 2026 event was not announced immediately following the 2025 event, as it had been in previous years, fans worried it may not be happening.

Festival goers reacted to the news of the hiatus with both disappointment and understanding. "I'm so sad, but I can get behind this. I don't want anything less magical than what 2025 was… such a core memory for me & I cant wait to see what 2027 has in store," said one, while another cried, "WHAT IS THERE TO LIVE FOR NOW?!"

Others admitted to feeling "relieved" to have a break from the pricey event, which for many requires flights and hotels in Las Vegas, in addition to the ticket. "Honestly just breathed a big sigh of relief. This year is so jam packed with huge headlines idk if my wallet would survive WWWY on top of all the other fests," said one fan, with another adding, "Hopefully, they make it more affordable."

Many would agree that the fest paved the way for an emo resurgence, with throwback bands setting out on their own tours and more traveling rock fests popping up, like Hawthorne Height's ...Is For Lovers and the Warped Tour, which came back in 2025 after ending in 2018. A slew of one-off events like Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, Shaky Knees, and Aftershock also grabbed the attention of fans and commitment from many former WWWY bands in 2026.

Radiohead just issued a bold response after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) used their song in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) promotional video without their permission.

In a video posted to ICE's social media accounts on Wednesday, Feb. 18, a choral version of the group's song “Let Down” serves as the soundtrack. The clip shows a collage of pictures of victims of violent crime, including Laken Riley and Mollie Tibbetts—who were both murdered by individuals without legal immigration status.

The video's caption reads, “Thousands of American families have been torn apart because of criminal illegal alien violence. American citizens raped and murdered by those who have no right to be in our country. This is who we fight for. This is our why.”

In response to "Let Down" being used in the post, a spokesperson for Radiohead said to Variety that it “goes without saying it was without the band’s permission” before providing a statement from Radiohead themselves.

“We demand that the amateurs in control of the ICE social media account take it down. It ain’t funny, this song means a lot to us and other people, and you don’t get to appropriate it without a fight," the statement reads. "Also, go f--k yourselves… Radiohead.”

Radiohead joins artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and more who have denounced the Trump administration for using their music without permission.

In November, the White House and DHS posted a video to Instagram encouraging those without legal status to self-deport to their countries of origin. The clip was set to Rodrigo’s “all-american b—h.”

In the comment section, the 22-year-old pop star called out the Trump administration for using her song without her permission and for reasons she does not agree with.

“Don’t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda,” she wrote.

Similarly, in December, the official White House account posted a video showing what appears to be ICE officers detaining protesters set to Carpenter’s hit “Juno.”

The caption—a play on the song’s lyrics—read, “Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye” with two emojis. 

In the replies, Carpenter made her feelings known about her music being used for pro-ICE content, writing, “this video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”
