What Procedures Did Jim Carrey Potentially Have Done? A Plastic Surgeon Weighs In
The internet may be busy debating whetherJim Carrey was “replaced” at the 2026 César Awards—but one plastic surgeon is offering a more realistic explanation.
Dr. Tony Youn, a board-certified cosmetic surgeon known for breaking down celebrity transformations on Instagram, addressed the viral speculation in a recent video after fans claimed the 64-year-old looked “unrecognizable” while accepting his honorary César in Paris.
“A lot of people are asking me to comment on Jim Carrey's appearance,” Youn began his Sunday, March 1 video, comparing archival photos of the actor from 2006 to his current look.
According to Youn, Carrey “appears to have had an endoscopic brow lift,” pointing to higher brows and a slightly adjusted hairline. He added that Carrey may have had “some Botox injected into his forehead and an upper blepharoplasty,” noting that his “Eyelids are significantly more open than they used to be.”
View this post on InstagramYoun also speculated that the comedian “may have had a midface and a lower face lift,” as well as possible fat grafting to the cheeks. “His nose also looks quite a bit longer and refined,” he said, suggesting that “This could be a sign of a rhinoplasty.”
Still, Youn acknowledged the internet’s wilder theories, joking, “So either Jim Carrey has had a considerable amount of facial plastic surgery or this isn't Jim Carrey, and it is a doppelganger, or maybe he's playing some type of trick on us.”

The speculation traces back to Carrey’s February 26 appearance at the 2026 César Awards in Paris, where he accepted an honorary César. Social media users quickly began circulating side-by-side comparisons of older photos, claiming the Mask alum looked dramatically different. The chatter intensified after celebrity transformation artist Alexis Stone posted images of a hyper-realistic mask resembling Carrey’s look that night, fueling impersonation rumors.
But organizers have firmly pushed back. César Awards general delegate Gregory Caulier confirmed to Variety on Monday that “Jim Carrey’s visit has been planned since this summer,” calling the conspiracy a “non-issue.” According to Caulier, the Golden Globe winner spent months preparing for the ceremony and even “worked on his speech in French for months, asking me about the exact pronunciation of certain words.”
Carrey attended the event with his partner, daughter, grandson and 12 close friends and family members. Onstage, he delivered a speech reflecting on his French ancestry and honoring his late father, Percy Joseph Carrey.
1981 Classic Ranked 'Best Action Film of All Time'
Harrison Ford is having a monster week, and it’s only Monday.
The star was honored last night at the Actor Awards (formerly SAGs) with the Lifetime Achievement award, presented by Woody Harrelson. He was named “Best Action Movie Star” of all time by Consequence. And now, one of the films from his legendary résumé has just been deemed the “Greatest Crowd-Pleasing Action Movie” ever by Collider.
View this post on InstagramRaiders of the Lost Ark, a white-knuckle classic starring Ford as the legendary archeologist with a whip, was the first in the Indiana Jones film franchise, followed by Temple of Doom (1984), The Last Crusade (1989), and two more released in the 21st century. With the decade-defining Steven Spielberg behind the lens, the movie was “real simple stuff, but ideally executed,” the outlet writes.
Set in 1936 on the cusp of World War II, the plot unfolds around Indy as he races against the Nazi forces to locate the Ark of the Covenant before the Germans do.
“It’s maybe the quintessential crowd-pleasing action movie, expertly balanced between feeling old-fashioned and ahead-of-its-time, somehow, as far as the pacing goes,” Collider says.
Released in June 1981, Raiders of the Lost Ark became the highest-grossing film that year, with a worldwide total of nearly $400 million against a budget of $18 million, per IMDb. Not to mention, it became the go-to for grade school teachers to keep kids entertained on movie days. At least, that’s how it was at our elementary school.
Ford, 83, has gone on the record saying who he prefers to see take over the role once he bows out. Speaking with Craig Melvin on the TODAY show in 2019, Ford said, “Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones. Don’t you get it? I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy!”
Speaking with Chris Wallace on CNN in 2023, Ford offered a little bit more, explaining that the Indiana Jones films have aged with him. In the first film, Ford was 38. In the last installment, The Dial of Destiny, Ford played Indy at Ford’s real-life age.
“I wanted [the film] to be character driven, and I wanted us to confront the question of age, straight on, not to try to hide my age but to take advantage of it,” he said.

Lucky for us, Ford is nowhere near retiring, as last night’s acceptance speech included this little nugget: “It’s a little weird to be getting a Lifetime Achievement Award at the half point of my career,” he said to cheers and tears from the audience.
1813 Book Ranked ‘Best Romance Novel of All Time’ is Now Free on Amazon
One of the most celebrated love stories ever written just became even more accessible.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, first published in 1813, has been ranked the “Best Romance Novel of All Time” by Goodreads. And now, the literary classic is available to read for free on Amazon through Kindle Unlimited, opening the door for a new wave of readers to discover the love story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy.
Set in the English countryside at the turn of the 19th century, the novel centers on Elizabeth Bennet, a quick-minded and independent young woman navigating family pressures and societal expectations. When she meets the wealthy but reserved Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, their initial misunderstandings set the stage for one of fiction's most enduring slow-burn romances. Beneath the courtship, Austen crafts a sharp critique of class, marriage and gender roles, themes that still feel remarkably relevant today.
The novel's cultural footprint extends far beyond the page. Pride and Prejudice has been adapted for film and television numerous times over the decades. Among the most beloved interpretations are the 1940 classic starring Laurence Olivier and the 1995 BBC miniseries starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, which became a defining version for many fans. The 2005 feature film adaptation, directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, introduced the story to a new generation and earned multiple Academy Award nominations.
"I wanted to make Pride & Prejudice real and gritty — and be as honest as possible,” said Wright. "The upper classes were frightened and made the decision to assimilate more with the lower classes. It was a whole new era for society. For young women, this was very exciting — like, say, Prince William turning up at a high street disco."
The novel's unforgettable dialogue, layered and complex characters, and emotional payoff have made it an enduring favorite. Elizabeth and Darcy’s journey from pride and prejudice to understanding and love continues to define the genre more than 200 years after publication.
With the novel now free to read via Kindle Unlimited, stepping into Austen's world of drawing rooms, country estates and quietly smoldering glances has never been easier.
Some love stories simply refuse to fade, and Pride and Prejudice remains proof.

1961 Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 65 Years Ago Today
In 1961, The Everly Brothers added another milestone to their already soaring career.
Their single "Walk Right Back" climbed to No. 1 on the U.K. charts on March 2, marking the duo's third British chart-topper and solidifying their status as one of the most influential vocal acts of the early rock era. Sixty-five years later, the song remains a defining example of their seamless harmonies and crossover appeal.
Written by Sonny Curtis, a member of The Crickets, "Walk Right Back" showcased the polished pop sensibility that helped bridge the gap between 1950s rock 'n' roll and the more refined sound of the 1960s. Curtis, who had also worked closely with Buddy Holly, crafted a melody that perfectly suited Don and Phil Everly's signature close harmonies.
Formed by brothers Don and Phil Everly, The Everly Brothers emerged in the late 1950s as one of the defining acts of early rock and roll. Raised in a musical family in Kentucky and Iowa, the duo grew up performing country songs on radio before signing with Cadence Records. Their 1957 breakthrough hit "Bye Bye Love" launched a string of chart-toppers that blended country roots with rock 'n' roll energy and close two-part harmonies.
By the time "Walk Right Back" arrived, the Everly Brothers were already international stars thanks to hits like "Bye Bye Love" and "All I Have to Do Is Dream." The song's success in the U.K. further cemented their global reach, arriving at a time when British audiences were embracing American rock and roll in a big way.
Built around chiming guitars and intertwined vocals, "Walk Right Back" blended rock, pop and country influences, a hallmark of the Everlys' sound. That blend would go on to inspire countless British Invasion acts in the years that followed, from The Beatles to The Hollies, both of whom cited the duo's harmonies as formative influences.
Though trends would soon shift as the 1960s progressed, "Walk Right Back" stands as a snapshot of a pivotal moment in pop history when harmony-driven rock ruled the airwaves and The Everly Brothers were at the forefront. Over the decades, the Everly Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's inaugural class in 1986, cementing their legacy as pioneers whose harmony-driven sound helped define the transition from rockabilly to mainstream pop.
Sixty-five years after topping the charts, the song remains a reminder of the duo's enduring place in rock history and the timeless power of two voices perfectly in sync.

Megan Moroney and Ella Langley Become 1st Female Country Artists to Achieve Music Charts Milestone
Megan Moroney and Ella Langley have officially gone where no pair of female country music stars in history have ever been before.
Billboard reported on Monday, March 2, that Moroney, 28, and Langley, 26, are the first two women in country music to ever top the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously. Per charts dated March 7, 2026, Moroney’s new album, Cloud 9, debuted atop the Billboard 200, while Langley’s song “Choosin’ Texas” returned to the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 after first achieving the lead three weeks prior.
This marks the first time two female country music artists have topped Billboard’s all-genre album and song charts simultaneously since the latter began collecting data in 1958.
Additionally, Moroney and Langley are only the fifth country music combo to hit No. 1 on both charts in the same week. Past artists to achieve the feat include the Eagles for Hotel California and Glen Campbell for “Southern Nights” in April 1977, Taylor Swift for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and Morgan Wallen for “Last Night” in July 2023, Post Malone for F-1 Trillion and Shaboozey for “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” in August 2024 and Jelly Roll for Beautifully Broken and Shaboozey for “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” in October 2024.
Beyond their shared achievement, Moroney and Langley’s chart-toppers also signify personal career milestones for each, as Cloud 9 and “Choosin’ Texas’ are their first No. 1s on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts, respectively.
Langley initially reacted to the news of her Hot 100 feat in February.
“We did it!! ‘Choosin’ Texas’ is the #1 song on the @billboard #Hot100,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I can’t thank y’all enough for what you’ve done with this song, it blows my mind every single day. Here’s to women and country music.”
Weeks later, Langley celebrated her song’s return to No. 1, sharing a Billboard post about it via her Instagram Story on Monday alongside three emojis: a crying face, a white heart and a mind-blown face.
Released in October 2025, “Choosin’ Texas” is the lead single from Langley’s upcoming second album, Dandelion, which is set to drop on April 10.
As for Moroney, she expressed her excitement over Cloud 9’s Billboard 200 accomplishment via Instagram on Monday.
“Cloud 9 is No. 1!!!?! Thank you so much,” she captioned her post, writing in all caps. “Best fans in the world. Thank you for streaming and listening and connecting and caring. I can’t wait to scream these songs with you on tour ahhh.”
Moroney previously marked the February 20 release of Cloud 9 with a personal note to fans.
“I just want to say thank you to every single one of you!” she shared via Instagram at the time. “I had the most fun I’ve ever had writing these songs/dreaming up this world, and a majority of this album was created right in the midst of the Am I Okay? Tour. The pure joy y’all brought me night after night resulted in so many of these songs and ideas, so I can’t thank y’all enough for inspiring me.”
She continued: “There’s a newfound confidence woven throughout Cloud 9 along with humor, honesty, heartbreak (duh), softness and love. It’s got everything I love about country music. Never in a million years would I have guessed I’d have songs with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves, but I hope it inspires any and all dreamers out there to keep going. Your wildest dreams are not out of reach.”
Pregnancy Scare Ahead on 'Days of Our Lives'
A potential pregnancy may be in the cards for a next generation legacy couple on Days of Our Lives, according to March spoilers from SWOON.
In the article, by soap journalist Stephanie Sloane, it is revealed that Tate Black (Leo Howard) will encourage his on-again, off-again girlfriend Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) to take a pregnancy test.
The development follows several recent episodes in which Holly and Tate have been shown to be in the throws of love making, meaning a pregnancy scare a possible direction for the storyline.
This would not be Tate’s first pregnancy scare. He previously believed he had impregnated Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and was the father of her child, who was later adopted by his cousin Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Johnny’s wife Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens).
It was later revealed that Tate was not the father; instead, the baby’s father was Sophia’s other partner and Tate’s best friend, Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo).
While a pregnancy is one possible explanation for Holly’s condition, it may not be the only one. After giving birth, Sophia suffered a mental break and was admitted to Bayview, where she has been receiving treatment. Although Sophia regained her cognitive abilities, she is currently pretending to be unable to speak.
During her stay, Sophia has begun targeting Holly, blaming her for everything that has gone wrong in her life and plotting revenge. As part of her scheme, Sophia has been swapping Holly’s vitamins with anxiety medication, causing Holly to experience severe side effects.
Sophia is now manipulating Tate’s younger sister, Rachel Black, as well as her attorney, Melinda Trask, in an effort to continue the plan and ensure Holly receives another does of the medication.
This raises the question: could a pregnancy scare ultimately lead to the truth about Holly being rugged? Or could Holly’s symptoms simply be the result of Sophia’s scheme?
As Parade previously reported, Howard and Puzemis are set to exit the soap alongside Boatman and Bownes. Due to Days of Our Lives advance filming schedule, the exits are not expected to air until the end of 2026, to early 2027.
Days of Our Lives streams weekdays on Peacock.

March's Lunar Eclipse in Virgo Closes a Chapter for Your Zodiac Sign
If you're wired, tired — or, more accurately, thoroughly exhausted, and extra emotional right now, you’re simply feeling the effect of the total lunar eclipse and full moon in Virgo, which will be exact on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 6:38 a.m. ET/3:38 a.m. PT. This dramatic event is the second (and last!) eclipse that we’ll experience during this particular 2026 eclipse season, and it’s causing situations that have been playing out over the course of the last year and a half to reach a fever pitch.
Think back to September 17, 2024, which is when this current eclipse series, occurring on the Virgo-Pisces axis, kicked off. Since then, there’s been a narrative unfolding in a specific area of your life. Now, in the days and weeks surrounding — and even up to six months following — this eclipse in Virgo, you’ll be closing out a major chapter of your life. Another benchmark to consider: September 21, 2025, which is when the Virgo solar eclipse set the stage for whatever is occurring now.
It’s important to bear in mind that eclipses host karmic experiences, because they involve the North and South Nodes, points in space that are aligned with your destiny and your past respectively. This lunar eclipse in Virgo, associated with acts of service, health, work, daily routine, healing, and self-criticism, involves the South Node, so it’s all about shedding what no longer serves you. And because Mercury, the planet that actually rules this lunar event, is currently retrograde, you could find it advantageous to rethink, revise, reimagine your approach to feel even more aligned with your path.
Read on for intel on what you can expect to release over the course of this eclipse, based on your sign.

EXPAND: The First Mercury Retrograde of 2026 Arrives—What It Means for Each Zodiac Sign
AriesThis eclipse may be wellness-related for everyone, but that’s especially the case for you, as it activates your sixth house of health. It’s time to let go of a particular pattern, habit, daily routine, or approach that’s been holding you back from feeling truly balanced. A simple reframe or even stepping up how you’re caring for your psychological and emotional well-being — thanks to Mercury retrograde in your twelfth house of spirituality — could be key to bolstering your vitality.
TaurusYou’ve likely been guarded about how you want to manage a particular aspiration connected to romance, self-expression, nurturing your bonds with kids in your life, or even growing your family. As this eclipse activates your fifth house of romance, time let go of fear or inhibitions that have been holding you back from connecting with the most heartfelt, fun-loving, playful, and joyful moments in life. Going back to activities or ways of exploring your creativity — especially alongside friends or colleagues, given that you used to adore could be truly beneficial.
RELATE?: The 3 Most Emotionally Resilient Birth Months
GeminiYou’re likely closing out a chapter related to your physical home, inner life, family relationships, or emotional wounds you’ve been grappling with for some time, because this eclipse falls in your fourth house of home life. As difficult as it has been to navigate, you could feel empowered by making a particular call that centers your emotional well-being. And with Mercury, your ruler and the ruler of this lunar eclipse, retrograde in your tenth house of career, moves you make tied to your inner world can help you refine your professional path, as well.
CancerThe energy around this eclipse could feel truly frenetic, given that it’s falling in your third house of communication. It’s time to let go of a certain way of sharing your ideas, connecting with others, and perhaps even how you go about taking care of business that involves short-distance travel. You’ve been spread too thin for too long, and this moment nudges you to set boundaries that honor your time, energy, and voice.
CUTE!: The 4 Birth Months That Make the Best Dog Parents
LeoThink back to late September 2025 to whatever was happening around your job, cash flow, and how you bring your skills to the table to earn a living, because this lunar eclipse is bringing up similar themes tied to your second house of income. You might be realizing that the projects you’ve been pouring your energy into aren’t quite aligned with your values or that nurturing your self-worth could make a huge difference in how you’re perceived and recognized on the job. Step away from stale patterns and strategies to lay the groundwork for a bold and more rewarding future.
VirgoThis lunar eclipse falls in your sign and first house of self, so you’re likely meditating on your self-image and how you’re presenting yourself out in the world. If you’ve been wanting to be perceived differently or interact with people in your life in a different way — think launching a new business or undergoing a physical makeover of some kind — this lunar event may be your launchpad. You’re being nudged to let go of an outdated narrative, which includes being kinder to yourself and practicing more self-compassion. With your ruler Mercury retrograde in your seventh house of partnership, leaning on a significant other, loved one, dear friend, or colleague may be helpful for navigating any bumps in the road now.
INSIGHTFUL - Your Next 13 Years: What Happens When Neptune Enters Aries
LibraWith this eclipse hitting your twelfth house of spirituality, this is a meditative, quiet moment where you’re connecting on an even deeper, more meaningful level with your intuition and inner voice. It could be time to close a chapter related to how you’ve been caring for psychological well-being (think: changing therapists or ending a toxic relationship that’s been weighing on you). With Mercury moving back through your sixth house of health until March 20, the changes you embrace with this eclipse could also benefit your overall wellness and vitality.
ScorpioBecause it activates your networking and groups sector, this lunar eclipse may make it clear that certain friendships, connections to colleagues, and team endeavors aren’t worthy of your energy investment. Despite Mercury’s retrograde in your fifth house of self-expression causing some blurriness, particularly around how you want to own and share your creative voice, you’ll feel like you see the light when it comes to long-term wishes — and the people you can lean on to cross the finish line on your dreams. Moving in a different direction could be nerve-wracking but it could also be incredibly liberating.
SagittariusThis eclipse falls in your tenth house of career, so you can anticipate big changes and closures tied to how you’re approaching your professional path. A particular strategy for making your mark may not be working out as you intended it or there could be another opportunity on the horizon that feels as though it’ll better bolster your growth. Either way, following your intuition and instincts is key to moving through this game-changing moment. And with Mercury retrograde activating your fourth house of home life, your work-life balance may very much factor into your decision-making.
MORE: The Fairytale That Mirrors Your Soul, Based on Your Birth Month
CapricornYou’re ready to release a particular way of thinking about the world or even a relationship with a mentor who you’ve leaned on for some time, thanks to the eclipse falling in your ninth house of adventure and higher learning. You could be surprised that you feel pulled toward soaking up knowledge in a new way (think advancing your education in a completely different field than your current work) or that you’re prepared to learn a skill set that’s out of your typical wheelhouse. Trust that appetite for learning as it’ll be the key to growth.
AquariusThis lunar eclipse activates your eighth house of joint resources, so you’re moving past a particular way of either earning, managing, investing, or managing money alongside a significant other or loved one. Perhaps conversations that you once felt were taboo are becoming easier to have, or you’re motivated to sit down and deal with creating that budget that you’ve been anxious about, as you’re ready to let go of old fears. With Mercury moving back through your second house of income, double-checking all the details tied to cash flow is crucial, but revisiting moneymaking opportunities from the past could also be beneficial.
READ: These 4 Birth Months Carry Old Soul Emotional Wisdom
PiscesThis lunar eclipse sits opposite your sign and impacts your seventh house of partnership, making it a significant milestone in a story about your sense of self and your relationships that’s been playing out since September 2024. You could be ending a bond or ending a period of time that’s been dedicated to pouring into your own cup versus giving to someone else. Either way, this is a moment for carving out plenty of time and space to explore what’s in your heart and let your intuition guide you. Though changes could occur quickly, given the power of eclipses, this is also a period wired for allowing yourself to dream, given Mercury’s backspin in your first house of self.

The actor, 52, reflected on their relationship during an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show, explaining that the two simply saw the world differently. “We’re just very different,” Duhamel, 53, said. “She and I just have different views of the world, and that’s okay.”
The pair, who married in 2009 and announced their separation in 2017 before finalizing their divorce in 2019, share 12-year-old sonAxl.
Despite the breakup, Duhamel made it clear there’s no bad blood. He said he has “no regrets” about their time together, adding, “We have a beautiful son.” He also spoke warmly about both Fergie and his current wife, Audra Mari, noting that they are “both very different in a lot of ways but both really, really great women.”

Reflecting on filming London Calling overseas, he shared that parenting in this business is “a constant struggle.” Still, he said he prioritizes being fully present with his kids whenever he’s home.
'90s Movie Star Makes Rare Public Appearance With Daughter in Her Red Carpet Debut
The 2026 Actor Awards took place on Sunday night in Los Angeles, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances for the year 2025. Benicio del Toro attended the award show to show support for the film One Battle After Another, which garnered seven nominations, and brought his teenage daughter, Delilah, as his plus-one.
The two were seen posing together on the red carpet, marking Delilah's award show debut. She wore a simple, floor-length, off-white, sparkly dress with a matching flower in the center. Her hair was pinned straight, and she accessorized the look with a pair of diamond earrings. Meanwhile, del Toro wore a simple black tuxedo and a pair of sunglasses to the award show.
View this post on InstagramDespite being a famous actor, Del Toro has kept his daughter out of the spotlight and has rarely spoken about her publicly. Delilah's mom is actress and model Kimberly Stewart, with whom the 59-year-old actor reportedly had an "on and off" relationship throughout the 2010s. Delilah was born on Aug. 29, 2011.
One Battle After Another broke records at the Actor Awards with seven nominations, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast, Stunt Ensemble, and acting nods for Del Toro, Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor. They only walked away with one of the awards, which went to Penn for his role as Colonel Steven J. Lockjaw in the film. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another followed Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a former 1970s revolutionary living in hiding with his daughter, Willa (Infiniti). When his nemesis, Colonel Lockjaw (Penn), resurfaces and comes back for revenge, Bob must protect Willa from the consequences of his past actions.

In addition, many of the films he did in the 1990s established his status, including Basquiat, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Snatch. Throughout his career, the Puerto Rican actor has won an Academy Award, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and multiple Best Actor accolades at the Cannes Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival. In One Battle After Another, del Toro played Sensei Sergio St. Carlos, a martial arts instructor who helps Bob escape and find his daughter.

Southwest Finally Addresses Outcry Over Major Changes
One of the things people love about Southwest airlines was the company's lack of seating assignments. That means that people can pick their seats as they board, allowing you to get first dibs on those high-demand window seats, or perhaps cruise right on by the seat that would have you sitting next to a crying child. At least, people used to love that option until Southwest announced it was doing away with unassigned seating.
And apparently, folks were very vocal about their displeasure. So much so that Southwest heard the complaints and says they now plan to tweak the new assigned seating rule to hopefully win back some of the customers who said they would no longer fly Southwest after the change.
Southwest Responds to Customer Complaints About Assigned Seating and Free BaggageExecutive Vice President Chief Customer and Brand Officer Tony Roach wrote a letter to customers saying that they would refine the boarding process, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
In the February 2026 letter, Roach said they would begin allowing people to board in assigned groups. Additionally, they would be implementing new changes to improve "overhead bin availability" near passenger's seats to improve the speed at which they can board and deplane. Roach says that new and improved upgrades are also on the agenda, and the company plans to update it's fleet with new overhead bins that will hold 50 percent more luggage. It sounds like this upgrades will be made on "at least 70 percent" of the airline's planes.

People Have Been Vocal About Southwest's New ChangesAll you have to do is Google "Southwest airlines" and plenty of angry posts will pop up from people who are frustrated over the company's decision to do away with the open seating arrangements, which has forced people to store their bags in bins that aren't near their seats. Additionally, many people said they were frustrated by now non-preferred passengers were being able to gain access to the plane ahead of time, giving them first dibs on all the overhead bins.
And while there are plenty of Reddit comments blasting the airline's decision to make these changes—like Redditor @flyingaround806, who said "The major issue is southwest went away from its identity. Simple as that, they were a cheap airline, open seating and bags fly free."—there are those who took their frustrations directly to the airline itself.
View this post on InstagramMost of the posts Southwest has been making on social media are full of comments from people who hate the changes. Including a seemingly harmless Instagram meme about Punch the monkey, which brough complaints from unhappy flyers.
"Way too soon I’ve now taken four flights since the change and it is chaotic," one person wrote in part.
"Miserable experience since seat and bag policy changes, switching to other options after 15 years of SWA being our go-to," another person added.
“As we’ve transitioned from open seating to assigned seating, the feedback we’ve received has been invaluable,” Roach's letter continued. “We’ve already made several enhancements and will continue refining the experience to reward your loyalty while delivering the industry’s best operational reliability and hospitality.”
Hopefully it's enough to win back Southwest's loudest critics.

2000’s Rock Duo Tops Elvis Presley at the Box Office
Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis Presley documentary EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert has been receiving rave reviews and pulled in a respectable $3.5 million over the weekend in ticket sales during its second week in theaters, but there’s one music film that did even better.
Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined, a documentary on the Columbus, Ohio-spawned rock duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, lived up to its title by raking in $4.3 million in ticket sales over its debut weekend, per Box Office Mojo, topping the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll at the box office.
Even more impressive, More Than We Ever Imagined appeared in only 833 theaters, whereas EPiC was screened in 1,940 movie houses. Over its two-week run, EPiC has grossed more than $7.8 million. It'll be interesting to see if More Than We Ever Imagined will top the Elvis film once movies complete their theatrical runs.
The Twenty One Pilots film follows the band as they headlined a show in Mexico City in front of 65,000 fans at Estadio GNP Seguros during The Clancy World Tour.
Like the Elvis film, More Than We Ever Imagined combines performance footage with behind-the-scenes documentary scenes of Joseph and Dun as they prepared for the show. Twenty One Pilots originally featured Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, but they left in 2011 when Dun joined Joseph.
Four years later, the duo had their breakout success with their fourth album Blurryface, which includes the hit singles “Stressed Out,” “Ride” and “Heathens.” The duo also garnered a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in 2017 for “Stressed Out.”
The band made history when Blurryface became the first album ever to have every track certified gold or higher by the Recording Industry Assn. of America, thanks to the band’s popularity on streaming platforms.
Twenty One Pilots also achieved another feat that put them in the company of Presley and the Beatles. With the success of “Heathens” and “Ride,” the band became the first alternative artist to have two singles simultaneously appear in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 and only the third rock act to achieve that feat—joining Presley and the Beatles.
Elvis did it first back in 1959 with "I Need Your Love Tonight" and "(Now and Then There's) A Fool Such as I," and the Beatles managed to pull off the feat 18 different times--in 1964, 1965 and 1966 during the height of Beatlemania, and again in 1969.

'Real Housewives' Star Set to Return to Franchise After 8 Years
After eight years, Carole Radziwill will return to The Real Housewives of New York. The news was confirmed by Bravo on Monday, March 2.
"In the marathon of life, loyalty is everything. And because of Bravo fans’ loyalty, Carole Radziwill is returning to #RHONY as a friend-of for Season 16," read the caption of a social media post shared by BravoTV.
View this post on InstagramReactions to Radziwill's return have been fairly mixed.
"I literally just screamed this news off my balcony I’m so serious," one person commented on BravoTV's announcement.
"How are you going to announce a friend-of before we know the cast??? Who is she the friend of???" someone else asked.
Many other Instagram users highlighted Radziwill's alleged past friendship to Ghislaine Maxwell and wondered if bringing her back was the right choice.
Radziwill originally joined the RHONY cast in a full-time role on Season 5. She parted ways with the franchise after Season 10.
"After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONY, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing," Radziwill said in a statement given to People magazine at the time. "I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament. I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next."
Also on March 2, Bravo confirmed the full cast for the new season of RHONY. Holding apples will be Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, Hailey Glassman, Jessel Taank, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye.
1977 Hit Ranked 'Best Disco Song of All Time' Was the Artist's Debut Song
Imagine you're a teenager in Philadelphia. Your folks got you a job to get a little bit of spending money. You're hard at work when a total stranger comes up and says, "I'm gonna make you a star." What do you do? If you're Evelyn "Champagne" King, you release a top 10 hit that many consider to be the "Best Disco Song of All Time."
King released her debut single, "Shame," in September 1977, just a few weeks after putting out her debut studio album, Smooth Talk. At the time, King was just 17, and over the course of a year, she watched as the song became a bona fide hit.
It peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1978, while also reaching No. 7 on the Hot Soul Singles. "Shame" ended 1978 at No. 64 on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 list; the song earned King a Gold Record before she was old enough to drink.
"Shame" has resonated with fans throughout the decades, to the point where thousands voted for it at Soul Tracks as the Best Disco song.
King's soulful voice paired well with Theodore "T-Life" Life's production work, which embodied the Philadelphia Soul, that blend of funk, soul and disco.
It worked so well that the song came in at No. 1 at Soul Track, beating out Donna Summer's "Last Dance," Chic's "Le Freak," Sister Sledge's "We Are Family," and Diana Ross's "Love Hangover."
The rest of the Top 10 includes Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough," McFadden and Whitehead's "Ain't No Stopping Us Now," Thelma Houston's "Don't Leave Me This Way," Chic's "Good Times," and Donna Summer's "Bad Girls."

"I was only 14 when I got discovered. It's almost like a Cinderella story," King said in a 2020 interview with Truth In Rhythm. "I was with my mom and dad. They worked at Philly International. My mom was a cleaning woman; sometimes, at the reception. She'd answer the phones if need be. My dad was maintenance."
King said that T-Life heard her singing as he was exiting the restroom. "Here I'm working, getting my little bit of money by helping out," she said." I'm vacuuming, and all of a sudden, this man comes up, all tall, dark and handsome. I didn't know he was a producer, a songwriter. He comes up and says, 'You know who was singing?' And I acted like I didn't know."
T-Life would not be deterred. He found Evelyn's mother and learned it was the young girl he heard singing. He came back and said to her, "I know that was you singing. One day, I'm gonna make you a star."

Dubbed "Evelyn 'Champagne' King' to give her old-sounding name more of a pop, King had another top 40 hit with the second single, "I Don't Know If It's Right." Her sophomore album, 1979's Music Box, included Luther Vandross on backing vocals. Though the singles didn't replicate the success of "Shame," the album went Gold.
"Shame" would cement King's legacy as a performer. In 1994, R&B/hip-hop soul duo Zhané covered the song, which reached No. 28 on the Hot 100. Two years later, Kim Wilde (best known for "Kids In America") covered it, and it went to No. 1 on the UK Club Chart.
Though disco would fall out of favor by the time the 1980s rolled around, Evelyn "Champagne" King continued to have hits in the early part of the decade. In 1981, her "I'm In Love" was a Top 40 hit and reached No. 1 on the R&B charts; the following year, "Love Come Down" cracked the Top 20 of the Hot 100 and reached No. 1 on the R&B charts.
In 2019, the Philadelphia Music Alliance inducted Evelyn "Champagne" King into its Walk of Fame.

'SNL' Breakout Star Reveals Life Lesson From Hollywood Legend Diane Keaton
Before Ashley Padilla joined the cast of Saturday Night Livefor its 50th season last year, she worked as an assistant for the iconic actress Diane Keaton.
When Padilla moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy in 2014, she was taking random gigs for money, and one of them was handing out party favors at Keaton's house in Brentwood, Los Angeles, for a night. Keaton's assistant then asked Padilla to come back the next day to help clean up. It eventually turned into a full-time assistant job, where the comedian was running errands and driving Keaton's son around.
"I think I dropped off Christmas gifts at her friends’ houses,” Padilla told Vulture. “I would always be like, 'I’ll do anything you guys need.'"

"I could do it because she believed I could," the SNL comedian said. "Diane wanted me to succeed."
The Godfatheractress passed away due to pneumonia in October 2025 when she was 71 years old. With Padilla working with Keaton for almost a decade, she told Vulture that she learned so much from her.
"I learned a lot from her and being close to someone in the business who’s so funny and who has a vision. She taught me that you’ve got to know yourself. She knew what she likes," Padilla admitted.
Diane Keaton is seen on August 20, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. As Padilla starts her second season on the late-night sketch comedy show, she has become known for her versatile comedic acting in sketches like "Surprise," "Missing Wives Docuseries," "Bad Haircut" and "Mom Confession," along with her impression of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
