It's Mercury Retrograde, but Don't Stress — We Found 5 Products That Can Help You Survive It

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:45am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Well, we have some not-great news for you: It's Mercury retrograde, and it will be until March 20. But before your mind is filled with images of you sleeping through alarms, missing appointments, and having hard conversations that really should have been quite easy, we're here to calm your nerves. Not only is Mercury retrograde not necessarily a bad thing, but there are plenty of little steps you can take to make sure it's not as chaotic as, well, usual.

Rather than viewing this time with a negative lens, Sarah Potter, celebrity tarot card reader, psychic and astrologer, actually sees Mercury retrograde as an opportunity to slow down and become more intentional about our time. “When something glitches during Mercury retrograde, it often highlights what was already misaligned or rushed,” she said. “It's an invitation to review, revise and recalibrate.”

Potter recommended a handful of ways that you can stay organized and grounded during this time. She suggests double-checking your travel plans, rereading emails before sending and giving yourself extra space and time to pause in stressful moments. Potter also suggests taking time to reflect — think revisiting old projects or reconnecting with parts of yourself that might need extra love and attention. Potter also mentioned the use of anything peppermint.

“This is such a beautiful ally for us during Mercury’s retrograde,” she said. “It’s an herb that brings us clarity. I drink peppermint tea but I think anything with the herb is a lovely supportive.”

And don't worry, we found some super-simple products you can shop to make this typically-hectic period feel a little more aligned.

Potter suggested taking time to reflect and reconnect with yourself during these next few weeks, and drawing a warm bath to relax could be a great solution. Suddenly you're not so worried about missing your early morning flight, are you?

And if you want something more basic, this alarm clock is just $9

These Ingenious Modern Storage Containers Are Made for the Organization Obsessed

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:45am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

I'll be the first to admit that I am, in fact, a proud nerd. After fighting my geekiness for years, I've finally embraced the fact that it's perfectly acceptable to be obsessed with something. Who cares if you can't stop thinking about the Pythagorean theorem or if you have a particular affinity for thermodynamics? If it gets you out of bed in the morning, then that's all that matters. Although yours truly couldn't make heads or tails of whatever a hypotenuse is or tell you the first thing about state functions, there are a few things that get me riled up, and one of those is storage and organization

We're talking full-blown label maker, alphabetized spices and a storage container for just about everything. It's so satisfying to open the pantry and see things neatly organized in a row, with everything exactly where it should be. Dry goods in apothecary jars backlit with a subtle glow, baskets filled with snacks, organized by color—it truly is bliss. But even a moderately obsessed storage geek like myself has the capacity to be out nerded, and the nerds at Cliik might just have me beat.

This game-changing storage solution might just change the way we think about organization for good. Cliik's premier product is its modular Cliik Containers, which aim to make getting organized seamless, incredibly easy, and, dare I say, fun. Available in small, medium, and large sizes, or as a family pack of all three, these genius containers are made of durable, BPA-free Tritan, so they can handle anything you throw at them. In terms of size, the largest container holds eight cups, the medium holds five cups, and the smallest holds two. The containers are also fridge and freezer-safe and can hold hot items up to 176°F.

Cliik Magnetic Large Containers Set, $49 at Anthropologie

Anthropologie

As great as all those stats are, though, the real genius of these containers lies in the incredibly smart lids. The decidedly modern-looking square lids feature six integrated magnets that let you connect the containers for effortless, tidy storage. The small containers also have magnets on the bottom, allowing you to stack containers together vertically. You can group things into categories or stack all your baking essentials together, and then, when you need them, just grab everything in one fell swoop.

Cliik Magnetic Small Containers Set, $69 at Anthropologie

Anthropologie

The lids also feature a handy magnetic label that you can easily remove, making it easier than ever to stay organized. Not to mention the lids are leakproof and airtight, so you can store everything from sugar and granola to liquids if need be. Now that's what we call innovation. Although the brand's website lists all the containers as sold out, you can luckily find them at Anthropologie. The only downside to finding containers as ingenious as these is that we'll now be satisfied only when we have them. At least now we can get a jump on spring cleaning.

Christian Bale Reacts to Upcoming Remake of His Classic Film: 'I Like Brave People'

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:43am

Frankenstein is a hot contender heading into this month's Academy Awards.

The classic literary character created by Mary Shelley remains a pop-culture sensation, especially since The Bride! is about to hit theaters — with current Oscar-nominee Jessie Buckley playing the Frankenstein monster's better half.

The "monster" himself in this new big-screen retelling, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, is Christian Bale, who just attended the star-studded premiere of The Bride! On the red carpet, the Oscar-winning actor, 52, also addressed another standout movie of his — which recently celebrated 25 years since its release.

And now, famed directed Luca Guadagnino is set to direct another version of American Psycho, based on the controversial horror novel by Bret Easton Ellis. The first movie adaptation starred Bale and was released in 2000 to critical and commercial acclaim. On Tuesday, March 4, the renowned Welsh actor weighed in on the upcoming remake.

“Whoever wants to give it a shot, give it a pop,” Bale told The Hollywood Reporter when asked if he had any young actors in mind for his role. “I loved making it with [director] Mary Harron so many years back, fantastic memories of it all. Bold choice of anyone to try to do a — I don’t know if they’re doing a remake or what, I don’t know anything else about it. But all the best to ’em, I like brave people.”

"Whoever wants to give it a shot, give it a pop!" - Christian Bale shares his thoughts on Luca Guadagnino remaking #AmericanPsycho pic.twitter.com/4dmchV6j8G

— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) March 4, 2026

During last week's world premiere of The Bride! in London, a journalist asked Bale whether he has “ever played it cool when meeting another actor or celebrity,” to which he quickly responds saying that he is “never cool” and prefers not to meet people that he watches in movies.

The Bride! takes place in Chicago during the 1930s, where scientist Dr. Euphronius (Annette Bening) brings a murdered young woman (Buckley) back to life to be a companion for Frankenstein’s monster (Bale). The movie is set to be released in the U.S. on March 6.

Why Architectural Snobs and Interior Designers Are All Circling March 16 on Their Calendars

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:43am

If you’ve ever wanted to live inside a Frank Lloyd Wrightmasterpiece but didn't have a spare $10 million for a Los Angeles estate, your" dreams just got a major upgrade. Faribault Mill, the American manufacturer that has been weaving since 1865, just announced a three-year partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The goal? To turn the architect’s most iconic, geometric visions into luxury wool throws you can wrap yourself in.

Dropping on March 16, this collection is a collision of two American icons. Faribault Mill has survived everything from the Civil War to the fast-fashion boom, and now they’re bringing Wright’s organic architecture principles to the foot of your sofa.

The initial drop features six styles inspired by some of Wright’s most famous blueprints, including the legendary Hollyhock House, the Ennis House (of Blade Runner fame), and the Coonley Playhouse. Each piece is crafted in Minnesota from natural materials, staying true to the sustainable, nature-first vibes Wright championed long before it was a buzzword.

"We are thrilled to partner on a collection that celebrates the timeless brilliance of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural vision," Ross Widmoyer, President and CEO of Faribault Mill said in a statement. "Just as Wright harmonized form and function, our blankets blend heritage craftsmanship with iconic design — creating pieces that are as beautiful as they are enduring. This collaboration embodies our commitment to quality, artistry and the enduring spirit of American creativity."

This collab is more than aesthetics. A percentage of every purchase goes directly back to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to support their mission of keeping his legacy and historic properties alive. "We're honored to partner with a brand with such a long heritage of craftsmanship and enduring quality," said Henry Hendrix, Chief Marketing Officer of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. "By partnering with Faribault Mill, we're offering a beautiful new way to translate Wright's timeless principles into objects of comfort and beauty for the home."

Whether you’re obsessed with the mid-century modern aesthetic or just want a piece of American history that doesn't feel like a museum relic, this collection is the move. It bridges the gap between high-art architecture and the cozy reality of a Sunday afternoon.

Popular '90s Frontman Admits: 'I Don't Know If We're Going to Be Touring Anymore'

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:39am

As we know, all good things must come to an end—especially when it comes to our favorite musicians. However, when Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, 60, told a Tulsa audience the other night, 'I don't know if we're going to be touring anymore after this," it definitely felt way way too soon.

Fans have been showing UP for the industrial rock band, who came to fame in the '90s, and is currently on their 2026 Peel It Back tour. Following their tour may have given fans the false impression that there's plenty of time and that we'd have the chance to see them perform live for years to come. Based on Reznor's own words, this may not be the case after all.

“I’m proud of the show we’re doing right now," Reznor continues, "and I’m grateful that you’ve chosen to spend your evening with us tonight. Thank you very much.”

Related: ’90s Rock Band Announces New Member Amid U.S. Tour

This news feels all the more surprising, too, because Reznor confirmed a few months back that Nine Inch Nails is energized and working on new music.

In a December interview with Consequence, Reznor, alongside bandmate Atticus Ross, said, "I kind of feel like my goal as an artist at the age I'm at right now is not to just rinse and repeat and tour until you can't tour anymore. Either you die or you can't physically do it, or people aren't interested… all of which aren't great options."

So what changed? Maybe Reznor and the band are just feeling worn out at the end of an awesome tour. Perfectly acceptable.

SPIN magazine covers the concert clip from Reznor here:

The current Nine Inch Nails Peel It Back tour is running through March 16th, but will this be the last chance to see them live? Sure hope not. On the final dates listed, the band hits San Francisco and Sacramento in Northern California.

Iconic '90s Rock Band Released Their Grammy-Winning Debut Album 23 Years Ago Today

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:35am

Die-hard alternative metal fans may be stunned to learn that one of their all-time favorite albums, Fallen by Evanescence, has turned 23 years old since its initial release. Evanescence helped define the music genre of the early 2000s with a debut album that cemented their iconic status and won them a few Grammys.

Co-founders, singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody began working on demo tracks and EPs for the band in 1994, but didn't release their debut album until March 4, 2003. Fallen was also the only album to include Moody before he departed the band months later in October.

There's no denying that Evanescence became a household name in the genre with a near-perfect album that yielded singles like "Bring Me to Life," "Going Under," "My Immortal," and "Everybody's Fool." The album and its songs have had a long-lasting legacy over the past two decades in the era of hit bands like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Breaking Benjamin, Slipknot, Seether, System of a Down, Three Days Grace, and more.

Lee once explained to Rolinng Stone the concept of bringing Evanescence to life was to bring "something from the cinematic and classical symphonic world and marrying it to metal, hard rock, and alternative music."

Their debut album was a perfect result, becoming one of the most commercially succesful album to date and named as one of the most influential rock albums of the 21st century. It debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 charts and later peaked at No. 3. It also charted in the top 10 in over 10 countries and became certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Evanescence's success with Fallen landed them five nominations at the 46th Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Hard Rock Performance, and Best New Artist. They won two out of five for Best Hard Rock Performance and Best New Artist.

The creative decision behind Fallen was inspired by Lee and her then-abusive relationship, with "Bring Me to Life" having been written when she was 19. She was inspired to write the track when her then-friend and now husband asked her if she was happy in her abusive relationship and looking past her facade.

'Good Morning America's Lara Spencer Has a Message for Co-Anchors After Mother's Death

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:27am

Lara Spencer is feeling grateful for her Good Morning America family.

Just weeks after the death of her beloved mom, Carolyn von Seelen, the morning show host penned a heartfelt message to her colleagues at GMA who have helped her get through the difficult time.

On Wednesday, March 4, Spencer uploaded an Instagram photo alongside co-anchor Robin Roberts, taken just moments after the two had embraced in a warm hug.

"This is just one moment-after a big hug-caught on camera-but there have been so many-and they have meant the world to me," Spencer, 56, wrote in her caption on Wednesday, while going on to say, "[I'm] so grateful for the care and love I have received during this time."

"Thank you gma family. Love you," she added.

Spencer first announced the news of her mother's death on Feb. 17, sharing a montage of family photos in an emotional Instagram post at the time.

In her caption, Spencer revealed that her mom died on Friday, Feb. 13, a coincidence that she says von Seelen "would have gotten a kick out of." Spencer noted in the post that her mom was "surrounded by her children and her beloved rescue dog to reunite with my Dad and our sister Pamela," when she died.

A cause of death was not shared, but von Seelen had previously gone through treatment for cancer after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, specifically glioblastoma, in 2023. She was 85 at the time of her death.

Last week, Spencer expressed a similar sentiment on Instagram while sharing photos from Florida alongside co-anchor Sam Champion.

"Finally coming out of the fog of grief and so grateful to my GMA family-making me feel warm and loved—even in 42 degrees temps in Florida," she wrote in the Feb. 26 post, taken from the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

"No one I would rather be stranded with than this guy," she added of Champion after the pair was stuck in Florida due to severe snowstorms in the Northeast.

She concluded in her caption, "The pictures tell the story. Thank you GMA family. I love you. 💕"

Felicity Huffman’s Daughter, 25, Is a Red Carpet Beauty Years After College Admissions Scandal

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:25am

Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy's daughter, Sophia Macy, is shining on the red carpet years after the college admissions scandal.

Huffman, 63, starred on Desperate Housewives as Lynette, a struggling stay-at-home mom of four. She won an Emmy for the role and also earned acclaim for her portrayal of a trans woman in the 2005 film Transamerica. While Huffman struggled as a result of the 2019 college admission scandal that landed her in jail for 14 days, she’s thriving once again, and her daughter is out of college and working the red carpet herself.

Sophia, 25, hit the red carpet premiere of HBO's Rooster, starring Steve Carell as a best-selling author who visits his daughter at a college to support her as she deals with a personal crisis.

What's Felicity Huffman Up to These Days?

Huffman recently appeared on the FOX series Doc, playing Dr. Joan Ridley. Her character debuted in the second episode of Season 2 back in September, according to TV Insider.

“Joan is a tough, old-school feminist, big believer in female empowerment and self-made, and a really interesting, eccentric personality. She is double boarded in internal medicine and surgery and has traveled the world doing Doctors Without Borders type of medicine, so she’s been all over the world, she’s extremely adventurous and sure of herself,” executive producer Hank Steinbergtold TV Insider. “She’s tough and exacting on the other doctors in a similar way to how Amy is, but she’s smoother with how she does it. So, she’s a bit more carrot-and-stick, whereas Amy was kind of all stick. Amy learned and watched Joan, but she sort of took the stick part and didn’t take much of the carrot part in terms of how she worked with her staff.”

What Does Huffman Think About a Desperate Housewives Reboot?

Last year, Huffman weighed in on the planned reimagination of Desperate Housewives with a whole new crew of ladies.

“I am all for it,” Huffman said during an appearance on Good Morning America. “I just think it’s wonderful and I’m a huge fan of Kerry’s,” she noted, referring to actress Kerry Washington, whose production company is putting the new show together.

However, the show won’t feature the same iconic title as Desperate Housewives, which ran from 2004 through 2012. Instead, it’s said to be titled Wisteria Lane, named for the legendary road the ladies lived on.

Panda Express Just Brought Back Its 'Spiciest Item Ever' and Fans Say It's 'Not For the Weak'

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:25am

If your usual Panda Express order feels a little too safe lately, you might want to brace yourself. The fast-casual chain is turning up the heat in a major way, and early fans are already warning that this one isn't for the faint of heart.

After testing a fiery new dish in select cities last year, Panda Express has officially unleashed it nationwide. And judging by social media reactions, spice lovers are more than ready.

A Viral Heat Wave Hits the Wok View this post on Instagram

The returning dish is Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken featuring Buldak Hot Sauce. Food blogger @snackolator shared the news with followers, and fans couldn't be more excited for the return.

According to Panda Express, the entrée brings together crispy, marinated chicken coated in a puffed-rice batter, then wok-tossed with red bell peppers, onions and a custom-formulated Buldak sauce. The result is a sweet, tangy, crunchy bite that quickly builds into serious heat.

The dish was originally released as a limited-time offering at select locations in 2025. Fans who managed to try it during the testing phase raved about the balance of flavor and heat, with many saying it delivered a slow burn that didn't overpower the dish. Now, Panda Express has confirmed the comeback—and this time, it's available nationwide.

The chain even teased the return on Instagram with the caption: "This dish is too spicy (and too viral) for a subtle comeback. Dynamite Sweet and Sour Chicken featuring Buldak Hot Sauce is HERE." They later confirmed in comments that the launch is nationwide.

Why Buldak Is Such a Big Deal

The real star of the show is the Buldak sauce, inspired by the wildly popular noodles from Samyang Foods. If you've ever scrolled TikTok or YouTube, you've probably seen someone attempting the infamous "fire noodle challenge."

Buldak ramen has become a global viral phenomenon thanks to its extreme spice level and dramatic reaction videos. Platforms like TikTok and YouTube are packed with creators sweating, gasping and chugging milk mid-bite. Flavors like Carbonara helped broaden its appeal, but the brand's signature intense heat is what made it explode online. Sales have reportedly surged in recent years as social media continues fueling demand.

By teaming up with Buldak, Panda Express is tapping directly into that viral heat culture. And based on fan reactions, this isn't just a gimmick. Many say the spice level is legit and definitely not for the weak.

1989 Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 37 Years Ago Today

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:16am

Before “Lost in Your Eyes” became a Billboard No. 1 hit, Debbie Gibson debuted it the old-fashioned way — performing it live on tour in 1988. Back then, without social media, the best way to see if a song would hit was right there on stage.

At the time, Gibson was already one of pop’s rising young stars. Her 1987 debut album, Out of the Blue, produced four Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, including the self-written smash “Foolish Beat.”

With that single, she became the youngest female artist to write, produce and perform a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Still, she couldn’t wait to share what she felt was her next big song.

“I was so excited about this song that I couldn’t wait to perform, so I did a sneak preview live on tour way before it was ever released,” Gibson recalled to Billboard.

And her instincts paid off. Released as the lead single from her 1989 sophomore album, Electric Youth, “Lost in Your Eyes” soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for three consecutive weeks beginning with the chart dated March 4, 1989.

The momentum carried over to the album charts. A week later, Electric Youth began a five-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In the March 11, 1989 issue of Billboard, columnist Paul Grein noted that Gibson had become the first female teen artist ever to hold the No. 1 pop album and single simultaneously — an accomplishment previously achieved by legends such as Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton-John, Elton John, Billy Joel and George Michael.

As for how she pulled it off at just 17, Gibson explained that it simply came naturally. “I remember the day I got home from school and sat at the piano and this song poured out of me,” she recalled.

“It really was a composite of different things going on in my puppy love high school love life and I barely stopped to change a note or a word. It was simply my job to transcribe what the universe was dropping in. I was so excited about this song that I couldn’t wait to perform, so I did a sneak preview live on tour way before it was ever released.”

Beyond its chart success, “Lost in Your Eyes” stands as one of the quintessential love ballads of the ‘80s, remaining a favorite for weddings and anniversaries.

Electric Youth went on to produce four Hot 100 hits. After “Lost in Your Eyes,” Gibson returned to the top 20 with the title track, “No More Rhyme” and the fan favorite “We Could Be Together.”

Gibson’s Billboard success has continued in recent years. In 2021, she released The Body Remembers, her first album of all-new material in two decades, landing on Billboard’s Top Current Albums and Top Album Sales charts.

A year later, her seasonal collection Winterlicious reached the top 20 of the Top Holiday Albums chart.

How to Make the Best-Ever Baked Salmon, According to Chef Jacques Pépin

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:15am

Of all the proteins that can be incorporated into a healthy diet, salmon is one of the most versatile options. Not only is salmon a great source of healthy fats and essential vitamins and minerals, but it also makes the perfect low-effort high-reward meal.

There are tons of salmon recipes and methods out there, but what do you do when the traditional seasonings and sauces just aren’t cutting it anymore? You check in with one of our favorite sources of cooking inspiration, Jacques Pépin, who has a great sweet and spicy salmon glaze that will soon become part of your regular dinner rotation.

Why Jacques Pépin's Salmon Glaze Is So Genius

During a segment of his PBS series At Home with Jacques Pépin, chef Pépin shares his simple recipe for upgrading any salmon dish at home. While the idea of it might come out of left field for some, the combination of flavors really works. The sugary tomato base comes from ketchup, and spicy chili oil lends some heat. Then there’s toasted sesame oil that rounds everything out by tying the flavors together to create a hot, sweet, earthy glaze that pairs deliciously with the rich fish.

How to Make Jacques Pépin's Salmon Glaze

Starting with a tablespoon of ketchup, Pépin adds a dash of chili oil and about ½ teaspoon of toasted sesame oil to create the spicy-sweet glaze. This three-ingredient glaze can also be recreated using any of your favorite hot sauces rather than chili oil.

When the glaze is ready to go, spread some of it on the bottom of the salmon fillets and add them to an ovenproof skillet or baking dish. Spread more glaze on top of the fish and bake in a 400°F oven for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how you like your fish. Pépin baked his fillets for 7 minutes and saw that the centers were still a bit rare when he inserted a knife into the center of the fish. That's the way Pépin prefers his salmon, so he plated it up with some roasted endive, but if you like your salmon less rare, leave it in the oven for a few more minutes.

Goldie Hawn’s Strict Family Rule is Keeping Her Granddaughter Off the Big Screen — For Now

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:13am

In the ecosystem of Hollywood dynasties, the Hawn-Hudson-Russell clan is effectively the gold standard. While other celebrity families are busy gathering nepo baby headlines, this group is playing the long game. Oliver Hudson just revealed that while his 12-year-old daughter, Rio, is ready for her close-up, he’s hitting the pause button. Taking a page directly from Oscar-winner Goldie Hawn’s playbook, Oliver is ensuring that the third generation of the family business stays in the wings—at least for now.

Oliver’s eldest son, Wilder, already made his debut in 2025, and son Bodhi is reportedly keen on the craft. But for Rio, whom Oliver describes as "pure performance," the rules are different. He’s implementing the exact same boundary his mother, Goldie Hawn, set for a young Kate Hudson decades ago. It’s a move that prioritizes sanity over stardom, protecting the pre-teen from the heavy machinery of the industry until she has a legal adult ID.

"My mother with Kate said, 'You're not going to do anything but plays until you're 18-years-old, then you can go off and do your stuff.' So I'm following in those footsteps, similarly to my mother," Oliver told HELLO!.

By steering Rio toward dance teams and school plays, Oliver is betting that real talent doesn't have an expiration date. He’s not stifling her spark; he’s letting it cure. "I'm saying, 'Go be in plays, be an amazing dancer on the dance team, be you, and we'll figure all of that stuff out when you're a bit older.' To subject her to whatever the rigors might be of being a child actor… we've seen it go great, we've seen it be detrimental, and why risk that? If you've got it, you've got it, you can wait a few years."

The result of this "wait-and-see" approach is currently on full display as the family rallies around Kate Hudson. Fresh off her powerhouse performance in the biopic Song Sung Blue, Kate has spent 2026 collecting hardware and Oscar nominations. Oliver stepped in as his sister’s last-minute date for the 2026 Actor Awards after her partner, Danny Fujikawa, fell ill, giving him a front-row seat to the modern-day celebrity grind.

Watching Kate navigate the spotlight—something she hasn't faced at this level since her Almost Famous breakout in 2001—has only reinforced Oliver's protective stance. "It's been a whirlwind, honestly," he noted. "Especially for her, obviously, having to do the whole dog and pony show. This is nuts, and she hasn't experienced this since Almost Famous – but now we're all older and we get to experience it with her and for her to be celebrated is incredible."
With Oscar winner Goldie, Marvel star Wyatt Russell, and the legendary Kurt Russell providing the blueprint, Rio Hudson could be the most anticipated debut of the late 2020s. But if Oliver has his way, we won’t see her name on a call sheet until 2031. It’s a refreshing take in an industry that often sees child stars come and go. By the time Rio hits 18, she won’t just be a famous name; she’ll be a seasoned performer who actually knows who she is.

Why Bethenny Frankel Thinks ‘Golden Life’ Would Be Bad for Business

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:13am

The beloved Real Housewives of New York (RHONY) cast was replaced on Bravo. Those who loved the long-running cast can see them together again in Florida in TheGolden Life on E!.

Bethenny Frankel showed her former castmates support on social media. But she revealed why she won't make her return at this point in her life.

Bethenny Frankel Says Reality TV Wouldn’t Pay Well View this post on Instagram

Frankel, 55, was a shark on Shark Tank and starred in The Big Shot with Bethenny, looking for someone to help run her business. She doesn't want to do reality TV focused on her personal life.

"It used to be good when I was promoting my own business," she said as she made a coffee in a video on Instagram on February 3. "But now that I work with a lot of other brands and have different types of equity deals and partners, they don’t look highly upon that genre. They kind of like that’s it’s in the rearview." She followed up with a video of herself making a snack with a protein chip topped with cottage cheese and caviar.

Luann de LessepsRamona SingerKelly Bensimon, and Sonja Morgan are confirmed to be on the reality show. Jill Zarin was an original pick for the show, but was fired after her racist comments about Bad Bunny. Frankel is on good terms with some of the cast members.

"Despite some of the women asking if I would come back, the amount of money it would take for me to come back — that E! could presumably never pay — would make the other Housewives resent me so much, which did happen before," she said.

The reality star recently revealed she was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. Most of her fans were supportive of her decision in the comments.

Rob and Michele Reiner Were Warned About Their Son Weeks Before Their Murders

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:13am

Nick Reiner is facing life in prison without parole or the death penalty for the murders of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.

In the months since their December 14, 2025, murders, details on their son's mental health have emerge, including a schizophrenia diagnosis and recent medication change.

"The medical staff warned Rob and Michele not to allow Nick to stay at their home due to the meds being switched," a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 4. "It could make him exhibit even more erratic behavior."

Nick, 32, reportedly got into an altercation with his parents the night before the murders at a holiday party hosted by Conan O'Brien. The couple was found deceased in their home by their daughter, Romy Reiner, the following afternoon.

In January, the accused murderer's attorney, Alan Jackson, walked away from the case, claiming he "[remains] completely and utterly committed to Nick’s best interest."

Public defender Kimberly Greene ultimately took over Reiner's defense

"The defense will argue that Nick’s mental illness is what drove him to commit these acts," former L.A. district attorney R.J.Dreiling told Us Weekly. "The prosecutor will argue that even though he was mentally ill, he knew exactly what he was doing.”"

Nick pleaded not guilty during his February 23 hearing. He is being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles and is due back in court on April 29.

Manicurists Swear By These 9 Cuticle Oils for Hydrated, Stronger Nails

If your cuticles are constantly dry, cracked and peeling no matter how much hand cream you use, you're missing an important step in your nail care routine: cuticle oil. Unlike lotion that sits on the surface, cuticle oil is formulated with small-molecule oils that actually penetrate into the nail plate and surrounding skin to deliver deep, lasting hydration.

This matters more than you might think because your nails produce only a tiny amount of natural oil per day, and that gets washed away almost immediately with hand washing, showering and sanitizer use, leaving your nails in a moisture deficit. Understanding what cuticle oil does helps explain why it's not just an optional luxury.

But the damage goes deeper than just appearance; dry cuticles mean dry nail plates, and dry nails become brittle, weak and prone to breaking and peeling. Regular cuticle oil application addresses this at the source by replenishing the lipids lost through constant exposure to water, chemicals and environmental factors.

The real revelation is how cuticle oil actually strengthens nails better than traditional nail hardeners. Those hardening treatments make nails more rigid and brittle, creating the illusion of strength—but when you jam a brittle nail, it snaps. Properly hydrated nails from consistent oil use are flexible and bendy, which means when you jam them, they absorb the shock and bend rather than breaking.

The best cuticle oils contain jojoba, sweet almond or vitamin E. Whether you prefer a mess-free roll-on applicator, a luxurious scented formula or a quick-drying option that won't interfere with your day, there's a cuticle oil that fits your routine.

We consulted professional manicurists and celebrity nail artists who work with clients daily to find out which cuticle oils actually deliver lasting hydration and stronger, healthier nails. Here are their top picks for keeping cuticles soft and nails resilient.

Top Cuticle OilsWhat Do Cuticle Oils Really Do?

Cuticle oils do far more than just moisturize—they're essential for nail strength and healthy growth.

Katie Masters, founder of Nail Thoughts gets passionate about this topic. "I know sometimes cuticle oil sounds unnecessary and just another upsell, but it's totally the opposite," she says. The reality is that your nails produce only a tiny amount of oil per day to hydrate themselves, but that quickly gets washed away. "So after all of that, your nail hydration is basically in the negative," she explains. Water is actually one of the worst things for nails—it completely washes away any moisture, leaving you with brittle nails, peeling and hangnails.

The key is in the specific oils used in cuticle formulas. Masters loves jojoba oil and sweet almond oil, saying they’re particularly effective because their small molecular structure allows them to absorb quickly and deeply into the nail plate and skin. "Oil-based nail moisturizers absorb much quicker and deeper into the nail plate than typical lotion moisturizers," she shares.

So, yes, cuticle oil penetrates deeply to hydrate and strengthen nails from within, making them flexible and resilient rather than hard and brittle.

Why Do Cuticles Get Dry?

Cuticles are uniquely vulnerable to dehydration for biological reasons—and our daily habits make it worse.

The fundamental issue is anatomical. Olha Shtanhei, professional international nail artist, explains that cuticles lack sebaceous glands, which means they cannot naturally produce oils. "As a result, they are highly vulnerable to dehydration," she says. This makes them completely dependent on external moisture sources.

Environmental factors play a role too. Frequent exposure to water, detergents, sanitizers, cold weather and aggressive nail products accelerates moisture loss, leading to dryness, cracking and inflammation if not properly cared for. Masters adds that winter weather is particularly rough because it's super dry and not humid, leaving skin, hands and nails to feel the effects.

How Often Should You Put Cuticle Oil On?

The experts agree that frequency matters more than the amount used—and most people aren't applying nearly often enough.

Shtanhei recommends a baseline that might surprise casual users. "For optimal results, cuticle oil should be applied at least once daily and ideally twice a day—morning and evening," she says. If you have dry skin, brittle nails or use a lot of hand sanitizers, more frequent application is the way to go. She is also all about consistency, saying it matters much more than the amount used.

Masters says not to limit the oil just to your cuticles: "Make sure to rub it into your actual nail plate as well because you want your nails to soak in that hydration." She offers a tip for anyone with nail enhancements like gel, acrylic or extensions: apply the oil underneath your nail since nails are like sponges and will absorb it from underneath too. This not only keeps natural nails healthier but also helps enhancements last longer and prevents product lifting.

Does Vaseline Work Just as Well as Cuticle Oil?

The experts are unanimous: Vaseline and cuticle oil serve different functions and aren't interchangeable.

"Vaseline acts as an occlusive agent, meaning it seals in moisture but does not provide active nourishment," Shtanhei says. "Cuticle oils, on the other hand, contain plant oils and vitamins that penetrate the skin and nail plate, delivering essential nutrients."

Vaseline can be helpful as a protective layer, but it does not replace the functional benefits of a properly formulated cuticle oil.

It's helpful for anyone who wants the benefits of cuticle oil but can't wait around for it to absorb.

Amazon

Shtanhei specifically chose this for nails that need consistent support and recovery. "Its lightweight, oil-based formula helps soften dry cuticles while improving nail flexibility, which is essential for reducing splitting and breakage," she explains.

Victoria Beckham Wishes Brooklyn Happy Birthday Amid Estrangement: 'We Love You So Much'

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:03am

While Brooklyn Beckham has publicly distanced himself from his family, mom Victoria Beckham still wished him a happy birthday on Instagram.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, the Spice Girls icon shared two photos from when Brooklyn was little. The first, which included dad David Beckham, was captioned, "Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much." While the second photo which was just of the famed mom and son, was captioned, "Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much."

The birthday posts comes nearly 2 months after the oldest of the Beckhams four kids, shared that he intends to cut ties with his family amid long-running rumors of family tension following his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” Brooklyn wrote at the time. “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

In his multi-slide post, he referenced how Victoria allegedly decided to not design Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute and also "danced inappropriately" with him at their reception.

Victoria and David haven't publicly responded to his claims, however the former soccer star characterized his son's post as a "mistake" in an interview just a day after Brooklyn's scathing message.

“They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes," he said. "That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”

Romeo, the Beckham's second-oldest son also posted a picture to his Instagram stories of a childhood photo of him and his brother to acknowledge his birthday. The post had no caption.

Victoria and David are also parents to Cruz and Harper.

Cruz, for his part, has spoken out about the family estrangement, sharing in December that his oldest brother blocked him and their parents on social media.

The concept of a home as a personal library has seen a massive resurgence in recent years, fueled by a collective desire for nostalgia and intellectual comfort. Interior design is no longer just about matching colors; it is about storytelling. By incorporating objects that evoke a sense of history and literature, homeowners can transform a standard living space into a sanctuary of curated thought. This movement toward "bibliographystyle" celebrates the physical form of the book, recognizing that its silhouette offers a sense of structure and warmth that is difficult to find in more abstract, modern art pieces.

Integrating these literary motifs into a room creates an immediate conversation starter and adds a layer of whimsical sophistication. Whether it is a dedicated reading nook or a minimalist floating shelf, the presence of book-inspired accents bridges the gap between traditional academia and contemporary style. The key to mastering this look lies in finding pieces that feel intentional and artisanal. When we surround ourselves with decor that reflects our passions, the home becomes a true reflection of the self, blending the boundary between functional living and artistic expression in a way that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder Survives a Wild Horse Ride of Terror With Bruce Springsteen

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 9:52am

Thankfully, it wasn’t Eddie Vedder’s "last kiss" with wife Jill during a terrifying horseback ride with Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa.

The Pearl Jam frontman recently described what it was like to go on what should have been a leisurely horseback riding adventure with The Boss—unfortunately, Vedder has a serious fear of horses. Vedder and Springsteen have been close friends for years, so the activity made sense in theory, but in practice, not so much.

"And that ride with Bruce did not help anything at all," Vedder recently recalled on The Howard Stern Show. "He says, 'You know, here's what's going to happen. You're going to get on the horse. The horse is going to walk. You're going to get off the horse. That's what's going to happen.' And I was trying to act not terrified. I was like, 'I got this.'"

Trying to play it cool, Vedder recalled the sage advice: "Don't let the shark know you're scared," which 1000 percent did not work this time.

"For whatever reason, my horse just took off, and I'm kind of headed off the trail into this forest of trees," he recalled. "I don't know what is happening, and I'm just trying to like surf. What I remember is like surfing the horse and looking, 'Where am I going to jump? Where I going to jump?' You know, everybody's helping, yelling stuff like, 'Pull right, pull left,' and I can't see a clear space to jump."

Thankfully, the terror quickly stopped for Vedder. "It stopped, and then everyone was a little mystified," he remarked. "Patti was like, 'That's very odd. That's very odd. He might be barn sour.' And then, damn it, if the horse didn't do it again. So, in the end, Bruce said that was pretty good horsemanship that I didn't crack my head."
