Carnival Issues a Warning Over the 'Bonkers' New Trend Taking Over Cruise Ships
If you’ve been scrolling through TikTok lately, you might have seen a new "aesthetic" travel trend that involves dragging a cabin mattress out onto a private balcony for a night under the stars. It looks cozy in a viral video, but Carnival Cruise Line is officially stepping in to say: please don't.
While the latest clip making the rounds wasn't actually filmed on a Carnival ship, the line’s brand ambassador, John Heald, is making it very clear that this "absolutely bonkers" behavior has no place on their fleet.
In a recent message to fans, Heald joked that anyone caught hauling their bedding outside should be prepared to spend the rest of their vacation working as a stateroom assistant.

In reality, the consequences are a bit more serious. Moving furniture or bedding to a balcony isn't just a quirky photo op; it’s a major safety violation that can block emergency exit routes and create fall hazards. Not to mention, it creates an enormous amount of extra work for the crew, who then have to deep-clean or even replace bedding that’s been exposed to the salt air and humidity.
This isn't the first time the cruise community has seen this kind of stunt. From travelers trying to sleep on balconies during frigid Antarctica expeditions to guests moving entire bed frames onto Royal Caribbean decks, the "bedroom relocation" trend seems to pop up every few months. While it might look great for a social media reel, Carnival reminds guests that bad behavior can lead to warnings or even a $500 fine for violating the ship's code of conduct.

For those who truly crave that ocean breeze while they snooze, there is a much simpler—and legal—alternative.
Heald confirmed that guests are more than welcome to leave their balcony doors open to catch the night air. Just keep in mind that doing so usually automatically triggers the cabin's air conditioning to shut off.
You also might want to consider your "morning view" before you settle in; more than a few cruisers have woken up to find their ship docked right next to another vessel, leading to some very awkward, un-curtained encounters with neighbors. If you want the fresh air, stick to the open door and leave the mattress where it belongs.

Legendary Songwriter Who Recently Died Hit Major Career Milestone 43 Years Ago Today
Legendary songwriter Neil Sedaka was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame 43 years ago today.
Sedaka died on Friday, Feb. 27 after a brief hospitalization, according to a statement from his family posted to his Instagram.
The late musician died shortly before the anniversary of one of his most memorable career milestones—being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Mar. 7, 1983 alongside Stevie Wonder during a ceremony held at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City, New York.

Sedaka and his writing partner Howard Greenfield scored their first major hit in 1958, when Connie Francis recorded their song, "Stupid Cupid." The following year, Sedaka was signed to RCA as a singer, with his fourth single “Oh, Carol!”, written about his ex-girlfriend Carole King, establishing him as a performer.
After the success of “Oh! Carol!”, Sedaka became a household name in the early 1960s with hits like “Laughter in the Rain,” “Calendar Girl,” and, most notably, “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do.”
In fact, from 1959 to 1963, Sedaka was the second most-selling artist after Elvis Presley.

Sedaka was also a founding member of The Tokens in the late 1950s, who are best known for songs like “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” “Sincerely,” and “Tonight I Fell in Love.”
Over the course of his career, Sedaka earned five Grammy Award nominations. He also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A tribute posted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame website shortly after Sedaka's death reads, "Over the past 45 years, Neil Sedaka's songwriting and recordings have helped change the face of popular music. With a lengthy list of hit singles, and platinum and gold records, Sedaka is recognized as one of rock and pop music’s pioneers."
Sedaka is survived by his wife, Leba Strassberg, whom he married in 1962, and their children Dara and Marc.
Zooey Deschanel Shares Honest Opinion on Viral Cookies: ‘I Hate These’
Zooey Deschanel didn’t hold back and delivered a straightforward take on the viral Crumbl Cookies.
With people scrambling to get their hands on the famous treat often referred to as “the cookie that broke the internet,” the New Girl star gave her brutally honest review, which quickly won fans’ approval.
In an Instagram post, the singer-actress shared a video of herself with the iconic pink box on her lap as she tried several flavors.
“These cookies are too big,” Deschanel said in her immediate reaction, adding, “I guess if you share it with your friend, maybe it's okay.
On her first try, she sampled the Cookies and Cream cookie, comparing it to an Oreo with white chocolate chips.
A customer sits with a box of Crumbl cookies arranged outside a store in New York, US, on Monday, June 2, 2025.A box of Crumbl cookies arranged outside a store in New York, US
“I don't like white chocolate so…” she said, signaling her immediate dislike.
For the second one, she tried the Biscoff-flavored cookie.
“These cookies are hard,” she remarked but was pleasantly surprised by the filling, noting, “It’s got an interior life.” Despite the unexpected twist, she mentioned how she “doesn't like it.”
Next, she tried the Celebration Cake cookie with batter cream cheese frosting on top, filled with rainbow sprinkles.
“This looks like you just took a sugar cookie and just covered it in stuff,” she joked, adding how “so sweet” it was, clearly not to her taste.
As for the famous chocolate chip, unfortunately, it didn’t win her over either.
“I don’t think these cookies are my thing,” she remarked while trying another one. “I don’t mean to complain, but I don't like these cookies,” though she noted how each cookie “looked really cute.”
Overall, the She & Him member was refreshingly frank in her verdict. She explained why she disliked the Crumbl Cookies, mainly because of the excessive toppings and sweetness.
“Nutshell review. I hate these cookies,” she said. Some of them tasted overbaked. Some of them tasted underbaked. Some of them had a bunch of stuff on top of them for no reason. I can’t figure out why people like these cookies but if you like cookies like this, bless you.”
View this post on InstagramIn her post, which she captioned, “Somebody had to say it…” fans were quick to agree with the actress.
“WE LOVE AN HONEST QUEEN, And btw I agree with your review!!!” a commenter wrote.
A follower expressed the same thought, writing, “The most accurate Crumbl review.”
“This is very Jess coded,” one wrote, referring to her New Girl character Jess Day, who tends to express her feelings very openly and without a filter.
“Crumbl hates to see you coming. This is hilarious and accurate,” a follower remarked.
A fan playfully responded saying, “This is my favorite commercial ever.”
“FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT TOO! Not good at all,” another added.
Following Deschanel’s post, Crumbl Cookies’ official account responded in a friendly and humorous way, inviting her to try their many options and give them another shot.
“Zooey, we’re huge fans of yours! We’ve released over 200 flavors and we’re sure we can get you something you’ll love if you’d give us another chance,” the company said.
While her verdict may disappoint some devoted fans of the brand, the 500 Days of Summer star’s candid taste test struck a chord online and her honest review proved that even the most viral treats aren't guaranteed to win everyone over.
Sadie Robertson Breaks Silence on Brother Rowdy’s Private Life — And His Surprise 'Duck Dynasty' Return (Exclusive)
Sadie Robertson is updating fans about her brother Rowdy Robertson, who has recently led a very private life but will be seen on the upcoming season of Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
When the reality TV star sat down with Parade to promote Season 2 of the reboot, she also chatted about having her third child last year with husband Christian Huff, their future baby plans, how she dealt with the death of her grandpa, show patriarch Phil Robertson, and the widowhood struggles of grandmaMiss Kay Robertson.
Duck Dynasty: The Revival Season 2 premieres this Saturday, March 7 at 10pm ET/PT on A&E. The series follows Phil’s sonWillie Robertson and his wife Korie Robertson as they juggle their lives with their children (Sadie, John Luke, Will, Bella, Rebecca, and Rowdy) and grandkids at their Louisiana home. Fans will see the love, laughter, and faith they’ve come to expect from the Robertsons, who became famous on their original Duck Dynasty TV show after Phil made millions creating his “Duck Commander” hunting duck call.
Courtesy A&EPhil, who died last May following an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, will get a big family memorial send-off on The Revival premiere episode. As A&E has teased the ten-episode season, viewers can also look forward to Jase Robertson bringing Willie into “Duck Court” with Judge Uncle Si Robertson presiding, the clan filming their very own original western, and Sadie welcoming her third baby girl with Christian.
Sadie exclusively told Parade, “The second season is a whole lot of fun. But there’s also some really vulnerable moments being shared, starting with my grandpa’s funeral and tribute to him, which we had so much fun doing, [but] of course, it was bittersweet. There were tears, but also a lot of laughter and joy, celebrating the man that he was and the hope that he had in Christ. I had my third child in this season which is so amazing, little Kit was born! But of course, all the shenanigans and silliness that always come with the Robertson family is in there, too.”

The Robertson daughter, who has her own podcast, WHOA That’s Good, recalled about Phil, “He was such a one-of-a-kind man…of course, you miss the quirks and what [made] him him. But, what’s so beautiful is the picture of legacy—my dad has so much of grandpa Phil in him, and it’s so cool to see that coming out of him. You really see the sides of my dad that shine—my dad’s love for the gospel and preaching the gospel wherever he is. He’s such a large- than-life personality, just like Phil, even down to my dad passing down traditions, like making jelly and good burgers…that’s when you get to see the power of legacy…we certainly miss him…he lives in all of us in certain ways.”

Phil’s devoted wife, Kay, was devastated when her husband of nearly 60 years passed away. As Parade previously reported, she’s had some health issues. Sadie, 28, confided, “It’s been a hard year, for sure. That was her best friend, that was the love of her life. And so to lose someone like that, it’s definitely very hard, and her health has also struggled a bit, but she’s in a really good place now, and I just saw her the other night and super grateful for her doing a lot better. I feel like we’re starting to turn the corner a little bit and that’s always a blessing to see.”

As for Sadie, she and husband Christian, a fitness coach and social media influencer, are raising three daughters—Honey, 4, Haven, 2, and Kit, 7 months. She smiled, “It’s the best thing ever. We are loving this stage of life so much, and of course, it’s wild and busy, and there’s that verse that my cup overflows. I heard someone say when your cup overflows, it can get a bit messy. I would say that’s kind of how we feel. It’s a little messy, but it’s the greatest blessing of our life.”
Christian Huff and Sadie Robertson/Courtesy A&ETheir daughters “have three very different personalities. We have the stereotypical first born, second born, and the cute little baby that just laughs at her sisters for being crazy…they are sweet and strong.”
The Revival fans will see the birth of the youngest, Kit, this season. “It was so fun to get film some of that and get to share that moment. We kept it really natural,” Sadie revealed. “We just had Christian film from his phone…I think that’s kind of where my boundary lies. I’m okay with it being recorded, but I don’t want it to feel like a show. I know it’s for a show, but this is also our very real life and for us to keep it just pure [we thought], let’s just go with a phone this time and not have a producer in the mix and a camera. Our team does a great job, but it’s just sweet to keep it a little more personal.”

When asked if they’ll have more kids, Sadie laughed, “It’s funny. As soon as you have one, everyone’s asking when the next one’s coming.” But Sadie wants to stop for now, noting, “I will say, I will let my siblings take over.”
In fact, news broke that Sadie’s brother, John Luke, and his wife, Mary Kate, just had twin daughters. Sadie said “we’re so excited for them, they’re such rock star parents with their fourth and fifth babies, and my younger siblings haven’t had kids yet, so I think I’ll take a break and I’ll let the rest of the family carry on, but it would be a huge blessing, if we had a fourth we’d be so grateful--but we’ll take a little pause.”
And the reality TV star said Christian isn’t pining for a boy. “He’s the best girl dad ever. It’s so sweet. Everyone says that to him—he’s like, if we had a fourth girl, it would be great.”
During season 1 of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, Sadie shared an emotional on-camera moment with her sisterBella Robertson, who talked about going through infertility since marrying husband Jacob Mayo in 2021. Sadie said, “That’s a very hard and personal thing to walk through. And so I was really thankful that she chose to share it with the world because I know it’s helped so many people feel seen and like they’re not alone.” Viewers will have to tune in for more about Bella.
Plus, Willie and Korie’s adopted son Rowdy, who wasn’t part of The Revival season 1, makes a surprise appearance in season 2, although it’s not clear how much camera time he’ll have. Recently, he's been out of the spotlight with a sporadic social media presence.
Sadie shared, “We’re so proud of Rowdy. He is in college right now, doing such a good job committing to that and so he doesn’t live here [in Louisiana] like the rest of us. Hopefully he can finish school soon and strong.”
She said Rowdy is attending Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, the alma mater of their parents Willie and Korie. “I think it’s sweet that he chose to go that direction, like they did,” Sadie noted.
View this post on InstagramWhen asked what Rowdy, 23, is studying, Sadie said, “I think he changed it a few times.” But she revealed his passion is photography. “He was in photography for a while. He has a really good eye. He’s very into animals. He can name any animal so he was into animal photography [but] I don’t know if that’s where he’s still at.”

1963 No. 1 Hit Made Music History With a Record No Rock Band Had Achieved
Sixty-three years ago this week, one of the biggest pop groups of the early 1960s made Billboard history.
On March 2, 1963, The Four Seasons hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Walk Like a Man," completing a run of three consecutive chart-topping singles.
The streak followed the group's earlier hits "Sherry" and "Big Girls Don't Cry," making The Four Seasons the first rock band in Hot 100 history to score three straight No. 1 singles.
RELATED: Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons Still Hold a Remarkable Billboard Record to This Day
According to music historian Fred Bronson in "The Billboard Book of No. 1 Hits: The Inside Story Behind the Top of the Charts," the achievement made The Four Seasons the first group in Hot 100 history to score three straight No. 1 singles. The run followed “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” cementing the Frankie Valli-fronted group as one of the dominant pop acts of the early 1960s.
Bronson notes that during their peak 27-week stretch beginning in September 1962, the group occupied the No. 1 position for 13 weeks—an extraordinary run for the pre-Beatles era.
More than a decade later, the group would add another remarkable Beatles-era distinction. When “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976, The Four Seasons became the only artist ever to score No. 1 hits before, during and after The Beatles’ chart dominance—a rare achievement that traces back to their early-1960s streak with “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Walk Like a Man.”
"Walk Like a Man" also ranks No. 1034 on Bronson’s Top 3000 Songs of the Rock Era list in Billboard’s Hottest Hot 100 Hits and is included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s "500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll," reflecting its sustained chart performance.

In the third edition of "The Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock & Roll," the group’s early-’60s run is described as a defining moment of American pop before the British Invasion reshaped the charts. The Four Seasons would go on to score additional hits throughout the decade, including “Candy Girl,” “Dawn (Go Away),” and later the 1975 comeback smash “Who Loves You.”
More than six decades later, “Walk Like a Man” remains one of the signature songs of the group’s initial hot streak—and the record-setting hit that made chart history.

Nathan Fillion Recruits Final Crew Member with the Mysterious 'Firefly' Reveal Just Days Away
The Fireflyreunion drumroll got louder Friday when Nathan Fillion dropped yet another door-knock video. This time with Adam Baldwin, who played mercenary Jayne Cobb on the beloved Fox sci-fi series. The clip follows the same format Fillion has been running since late February: show up at a castmate's door, exchange a loaded line about it being 'time,' and leave fans to fill in the rest.
Similar videos featuring Fillion visiting former Firefly co-stars Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite, Gina Torres, Sean Maher, and Adam Baldwin have all appeared on the Once We Were SpacemenInstagram account. Once We Were Spacemen is a podcast co-hosted by Fillion and fellow Firefly alum Alan Tudyk.
View this post on InstagramBaldwin's inclusion matters. He was the only former Serenity crew member who had not yet appeared in a recruitment video, setting aside Ron Glass, who played Shepherd Book and passed away in 2016, and, of course, Tudyk himself who shares the podcast with Fillion and who's character was killed in the film follow-up. With Baldwin now in the fold, every surviving main cast member has been recruited.
The campaign kicked off on February 23 when Fillion posted a video with Gina Torres, who played Zoe on the show. Torres asks, 'Does this mean it's time?' and Fillion replies, 'It's time.' Each subsequent video has stuck to that same stripped-down script. In the Sean Maher video, Fillion adds: 'Some of you have guessed convention, podcast, or cross-over. You are wrong.' That ruled out three of the most obvious explanations in one shot.
Related: Why Is Nathan Fillion Gathering His Firefly Co-Stars?
The caption on the Jewel Staite post added: 'I was hoping you would say that… an announcement is coming on Sunday, March 15.' That date happens to coincide with the day that Fillion and Tudyk are scheduled to appear on a Firefly panel at AwesomeCon in Washington, D.C.
So what's actually being announced? Nobody outside the inner circle knows for certain, and the cast isn't saying. One highly speculative theory at the moment proposes that the announcement will introduce a Firefly animated series with the actors lending their voices to the characters they once played. A 25th-anniversary event of some kind is another possibility, given that the show debuted in 2002. Disney, which now owns the rights through its acquisition of 20th Century Fox Television, has been reviving other Fox properties like The X-Filesfor Hulu.
What the cast has not done is say the word 'revival' out loud. In July 2025, Morena Baccarin said she 'seriously doubts' a live-action reboot with the original cast would be feasible, though she left open the possibility of revisiting the world in another medium.
Whatever lands on March 15, the campaign itself has been a minor masterpiece of slow-burn social media. Fillion has now recruited every surviving member of his old crew, Baldwin included, and the clock is ticking.
Normal Cholesterol and Blood Pressure? You May Still Need This Heart Scan, Cardiologists Say
When it comes to heart health, prevention is the name of the game. Cardiovascular disease, heart attacks and strokes are more than 75% preventable by having healthy diet and lifestyle habits in place.
You likely already know the basics of how to do this. Not using tobacco, consistently getting enough sleep, exercising regularly and eating a heart-healthy diet are all ways to lower your risk of adverse heart conditions.
Knowing your cholesterol and blood pressure numbers is also important. That way, you can change your habits or get access to cholesterol and blood pressure-lowering medications, if you need them. For many, these medications can truly be lifesaving. For people with hereditary high cholesterol, maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle alone isn’t enough to manage their cholesterol; medications also play a crucial role.

The Crucial Heart Scan Many People SkipWhile it’s important to know your cholesterol and blood pressure numbers, a coronary calcium scan can also clue you in on important information about your cardiovascular health.
“A coronary calcium scan is a quick, non-invasive CT scan that looks for calcium buildup in the coronary arteries, the arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle. Calcium in these arteries is a marker of plaque,” says Dr. Colin Zhu, DO, FACLM, a cardiologist, chef and host of the Thrive Bites podcast.
Dr. Zhu explains that a coronary calcium scan generates a “calcium score,” which helps estimate someone’s risk for future heart disease or heart attack. “[This test] is a preventive test to help understand your risk of heart attacks and heart disease,” adds Dr. Blair Suter, MD, a cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

While high cholesterol and blood pressure do increase the risk for cardiovascular disease, both cardiologists say that these measures alone don’t provide a complete picture of one’s risk. “A calcium scan shows whether plaque has already started forming in the arteries,” Dr. Zhu says, emphasizing that this is something that cholesterol and blood pressure tests can’t reveal.
“I’ve seen patients with ‘normal’ cholesterol who still had plaque, and others with elevated cholesterol but zero calcium. The scan gives us a more personalized look at actual arterial disease, rather than just risk on paper,” Dr. Zhu adds.
Who Should Get a Coronary Calcium Scan? Both doctors say that this isn’t a routine screening test that everyone needs. But if you are between the ages of 40 and 79 and are borderline high-risk for cardiovascular disease (meaning your estimated 10-year risk of a heart attack or stroke falls in the roughly 5% to 7.5% range based on standard risk calculators), Dr. Zhu recommends getting one. “It can also be useful for someone with a strong family history of early heart disease who wants more clarity about their own risk,” he says.
Dr. Suter adds that it’s worth discussing coronary calcium scan testing with your doctor to see if it would be helpful in determining your risk for cardiovascular disease. He says that these scans are not always covered by insurance, and if they aren’t, they typically cost around $100.
Related: These 4 Heart Disease Symptoms Are Often Dismissed as 'Aging' or 'Stress'
The results of your scan will tell you how much calcium buildup is in your arteries. If you don’t have any calcium buildup, Dr. Zhu says you don’t have to get another coronary calcium scan for several years. But if you do have moderate or high buildup, Dr. Suter recommends repeating the scan every three to five years.
If your score is high, Dr. Suter adds that you should discuss management with your doctor, which may include taking medication as well as making changes to your diet and lifestyle. “For very high calcium score, some patients can consider with their doctor if stress testing is appropriate,” he adds.
If you have a calcium score above 300, Dr. Zhu says that this means there is a significant amount of calcified plaque in your arteries. “This hardening makes it harder for blood to flow to your heart. People with very high calcium scores have a risk of heart attack or stroke similar to those who have already had a heart attack. It doesn’t mean a heart attack is inevitable. It means we take prevention more seriously,” he explains.
Remember, your heart health is almost entirely controllable. Even if you do have a high calcium score, both doctors emphasize that there is a lot you can do to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and heart attack. “[A high calcium score] often becomes a turning point that motivates patients to be more proactive about their heart health,” Dr. Zhu says, noting that you can discuss you individual treatment plan with your doctor, which may involve a combination of medication and lifestyle interventions.
Coronary calcium scans are another tool that can be used to clue you in on your risk for cardiovascular disease. Especially when it comes to health, knowledge is power. It can even be life-saving.

Disney World Just Brought Back Free Dining for 2026 and Cardmembers Get First Dibs
If you’ve been waiting for a reason to pull the trigger on a 2026 Walt Disney World vacation, this is the "golden ticket" moment for Disney Visa cardmembers. For a very limited time, Disney is offering an exclusive early access deal that brings back the fan-favorite Free Dining Plan for trips later this year.
For the offer to work, your package needs to be full-priced, a minimum of four days and four nights at a Disney Collection Resort hotel, and must also include a theme park ticket with a park hopper option. Also, your trip must have an arrival date between these date ranges to be valid: June 28 to October 3, 2026, October 19 to October 31, 2026, and December 6 to December 21, 2026.

View this post on InstagramThe dining plan that you’ll receive depends on which resort you book your stay at. For Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts, the meal plan includes a full free dining plan. This means that you can use your plan at both classic dining venues, including character dining, and quick-service spots as well. Each day, you will get one quick-service meal, one table-service meal and one snack or nonalcoholic beverage. You will also receive a resort refillable drinking mug for the trip.
If you book your stay at a Disney Moderate or Disney Value resort, your dining plan will be a free quick-service plan. This includes two quick-service meals per day as well as one snack or nonalcoholic beverage. You'll also receive the refillable resort drinking mug. Overall, having a dining plan can help take the stress out of paying for meals per-diem, can keep you within a budget and can save money in the long run.
With the common refrain that a Disney vacation has become unaffordable, this exclusive cardmember offer is a rare opportunity to lock in massive, predictable savings and combat "per-diem" price fatigue. For a family of four (two adults and two children ages 3–9), this deal is an absolute "inflation-buster" worth roughly $165 per day at Moderate or Value resorts, and a staggering $250 per day at Deluxe properties.
Over a standard four-night stay, that is $1,000 in direct savings—essentially pre-paying your entire food budget for $0. This is especially impactful for the "Deluxe" tier, as it covers the high cost of character dining like Chef Mickey’s or the Crystal Palace, which typically run $45–$65 per person out of pocket. By stripping away the stress of $20 burgers and high-priced character buffets, this offer allows families to enjoy the "luxury" side of Disney without the usual sticker shock.

If you are planning to use this offer, make sure that you mention it when you call to book your trip directly from The Walt Disney Travel Company. To pay the deposit, you must use your Disney Visa card or Disney Rewards redemption card. If you are planning on traveling with more than two adults, you may have to pay an additional charge for the extra dining plans. There are certain rooms that are also excluded from this offer, so make sure to double check when you are booking your room over the phone.
You only have a few more days to take advantage of this offer, so move quickly to get your Disney vacation planned.

This 1975 Pop Hit Isn’t Nearly as Innocent as It Sounds
Certain songs have an irresistible singalong quality, and a 1975 pop hit by ABBA is certainly one of them. But beneath its bright melody and catchy chorus lie lyrics that aren’t as innocent as they seem.
The group's pop hit, "Mamma Mia," is, at its heart, a song about cheating and unfaithfulness. But the average listener wouldn't pick up on that, as they sing along with "Mamma Mia, here I go again. My my, how can I resist you?"
However, the song's first line reveals its intentions right up front: "I've been cheated on you since I don't know when." The remainder of the song's lyrics depict an on-again, off-again relationship between a man who appears to have a pattern of infidelity and a woman who can't turn him away.
According to the ABBA website, "Mamma Mia" was the last song recorded by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad for their self-titled third LP. The website quoted a statement from Ulvaeus, printed in the book Mamma Mia! How Can I Resist You, which talks about how the catchy title helped in the song's success.

“That turned out to be another distinctive and memorable title, and one that maybe a native English writer would have thought was too European, and very uncool”, he explained. “The saying ‘mamma mia’ is used very, very commonly in Swedish and is just as well-known a phrase as it would be in English.”
RELATED: The Wild True Story Behind the 1976 Hit That Became One of Music’s All-Time Best Sellers
The song would become one of four tracks from the album with a promotional video attached. The others, released in April 1975, were "SOS," "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" and "Bang-A-Boomerang."
RELATED: 1976 No. 1 Smash Was Reportedly Queen Elizabeth’s Favorite Song
The video clip for "Mamma Mia" became the most popular of all four, and although there were no plans to release the song as a single, ABBA's record company rushed to meet demand. The tune would only hit No. 32 on the United States Billboard chart, but its worldwide popularity made it an instant classic.
In 1999, the track would become synonymous with musical theater when Mamma Mia! began its run at London's West End. Performance of the musical took place all around the world, and its Broadway run lasted nearly 14 years.
The musical was also turned into two smash films, Mamma Mia! (2008) and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018). Of a third installment, one of the film's stars, Christine Baranski, told Parade in 2025 that producer Judy Cramer "really wants it to happen."
Martha Stewart's Floral Quilt Set Has Kohl's Shoppers Raving, 'It's Exactly What I've Been Looking For'
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
There are so many reasons to love Martha Stewart but my favorite might just be how she somehow makes perfection feel approachable. She can roast a chicken, arrange flowers, fold fitted sheets and host a flawless dinner party with the greatest of ease. And yet instead of feeling intimidating, it's oddly motivating. Watching her just makes you think, "Okay, maybe I can do something kinda, sorta like that."
That same vibe translates into her line of housewares, too. She chooses sweet prints, quality materials and styles that aren't too fussy, but still feel very polished and elegant. Truthfully, who better to trust your bedding with than Martha Stewart? That's why I'm always eyeing her brand's offerings at Kohl's.
Martha Stewart Floral Quilt Set, $143.99 - $223.99 (reg. $179.99 - $279.99) at Kohl's Martha Stewart Floral Quilt SetKohl's
In my humble opinion, the Martha Stewart Floral Quilt Set at Kohl's is the perfect example of how the lifestyle icon makes things look stunning without being terrified of stains or other "life happens" moments. Sure, in a household like mine a white quilt is basically asking for a child's jammy hands to destroy it, but at the same time the green vining print is so inviting.
The price point on the set is also approachable, ranging from $143.99 (on sale) for Twin sizing up to $223.99 for King sizing.
There are two other colorways available: "Flower" and "Branches." Both embrace the same cottagecore aesthetic as the quilt set shown above and include a quilt and two shams (or just a single sham if you're buying the Twin size). Each piece is made of cotton so they feel lightweight and breathable, making the quilt a solid option for year-round use. You can always use it on its own for the warmer months and layer it with other blankets or a duvet for the cooler ones.
Kohl's shoppers who bought the Martha Stewart Floral Quilt Set seem pretty darn happy with their purchase in the product reviews.
"This bedspread is very well made," wrote a shopper. "It's beautiful and exactly what I've been looking for. I like the option of two different patterns."
Kohl's has a lot of great home decor offerings right now. For those of you getting your patios refreshed for spring, it has a MacKenzie-Childs-inspired outdoor rug with a trendy check pattern. And if dining al fresco is your think, a stylish outdoor kitchen island could turn your backyard into a foodie paradise. All of that and fresh new bedding? Now you're ready to embark on a new season.
Who Are Jonathan and Ana Towns? Meet 'The Amazing Race’ Couple Behind the Shocking Lawsuit
Jonathan and Ana TownssuedThe Amazing Race for defamation, alleging that producers edited the show to make Jonathan look extra cruel to his wife.
The Towns' legal team alleges that The Amazing Race producers launched deliberately suppressed use of flattering (or at least neutral) footage of the couple "to substitute in their place a constructed, false, and highly damaging portrayal—one manufactured through the systematic juxtaposition of decontextualized footage, the willful omission of material exculpatory and humanizing content, the disproportionate inclusion of narratively irrelevant but inflammatory content and the sustained and asymmetric application of editorial standards that were applied to no other participant in the production."
In short, the Towns' feel that producers and editors purposely made Jonathan look dismissive, disrespectful and at times even verbally abusive towards Ana, even though that wasn't actually the case—and that the production team had more than enough material and context to work with to present a prettier (or at least more compete and honest) picture of the pair.
Ana and Jonathan, who appeared in The Amazing Race Season 37, also named CBS, Paramount, Jerry Bruckheimer Films and ABC Signature (now under the 20th Television banner owned by Disney) in the suit, which alleges that due to their edits, "the resulting broadcast, disseminated to tens of millions of viewers on a nationally distributed television network, falsely portrayed Jonathan Towns, a private individual with no antecedent public profile, as a morally depraved, brutal and abusive spouse."
The Towns are seeking $8 million plus damages.
Who are Ana and Jonathan Towns, and what exactly are they accusing producers of making it appear happened? Read on to find out the details behind the drama, including what they say cameras didn't show.
Who are Jonathan and Ana Towns?Ana Rivera and Jonathan Towns are a married couple from Pomona, Calif., who competed on The Amazing Race in Season 37 and ultimately came in third place during the season finale. Jonathan is a software developer, while Ana is a stay-at-home mom.
On the show, which was filmed in 2024, Jonathan was often presented as snapping at Ana in frustration, at times demeaning her and calling her names. While some tension obviously would make for extra drama on a reality show, Jonathan was so harsh at times that his behavior could be interpreted as straight-up verbal abuse, and host Phil Keoghan even subtly warned him about his conduct towards his wife.
Further, Ana and Jonathan allege in the lawsuit that The Amazing Race didn't air a "clear emotional anguish" and a "meltdown" Jonathan suffered during the shoot, after which he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
As a result, the couple alleges, The Amazing Race producers made it appear that he engaged in "intentional emotional abuse toward his spouse."

Are Jonathan and Ana Towns still together?Ana and Jonathan Towns are still together. They have a YouTube channel in which they describe themselves as "a husband and wife in a neurodivergent-neurotypical relationship navigating life, love and parenthood one beautiful mess at a time."
Ana previously told Parade following the Season 37 finale, "We’re doing okay. Talking about some of the things that we’ve seen on the show, it is hard to look back on some of the things that we’ve seen. And essentially relive them. But it’s, at the same time, kind of a reminder of how far we’ve come since then."
What did Phil Keoghan say about Jonathan and Ana?The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan told TV Line that the Towns' had "obviously been struggling in their relationship" and that they signed on to the show "to test things."
“It’s always difficult to judge from afar, and I gave up a long, long time ago trying to figure out why people are together and why some relationships work and don’t work,” he added. “I’m certainly no expert in that department, and I think it’s unfair to judge from the outside.”
What is Jonathan's diagnosis on The Amazing Race? After leaving The Amazing Race, Jonathan was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
"How can I describe it? So when I look back at it, what I see, from what I know now, it’s almost as if you don’t know what’s happening in your head," Jonathan explained to Parade after the Season 37 finale. "For a neurotypical person, you have a good sense of the emotions that are coming through your mind at any given time. But for me, it’s almost impossible to make sense of the emotions, because they’re just so powerful in that moment. And so oftentimes I would just unleash that emotion on her. And that was obviously wrong."
"It’s so impossible to describe to someone that doesn’t live this experience. And that’s what I think has been so hard for people that did see it," Jonathan told Parade. "You say, 'Okay, he has autism, but what does that have to do with anything?' And I think an important distinction is that I was undiagnosed. And I had no tools. I didn’t know what was happening with me. And I wish I could just put people in my shoes in that moment, so they can understand just how difficult it is to be in that moment. It’s just very hard to do."
He added, "We were able to backtrace almost all of our previous conflicts and trace that back to autism ... It’s so difficult because, when you’re a late-diagnosed autistic person, you have developed by this time in your life a number of adaptations and masking strategies that you’re not even aware of. So it took my doctor some time to kind of go through my history and go through some of my characteristics and really understand, 'Are you actually autistic?' Because I disguise it so well, and I’ve learned to adapt to the neurotypical world around me. Eventually we got there, but it was a journey. It was not straightforward at all."
What does Jonathan on Amazing Race do for a living?Jonathan is a software developer and YouTuber.
Who is the mean husband on The Amazing Race? And therein, Jonathan and Ana's attorneys may say, lies the problem.
Jonathan was portrayed as a belittling and borderline emotionally abusive spouse on The Amazing Race, a depiction which he and Ana allege was false and defamatory, deliberately created and lacked crucial context.
"Something that you always you saw on the show, I would often blame her for things that she didn’t deserve blame for, and I know what that was now," Jonathan previously explained to Parade. "I mean, I was just trying to make sense of these emotions in my head, and I would just put it on the first thing that I saw, which was her. And every time I did that, I was wrong. But what I understand now is, when you get to that point, when the anger gets to that point, you just want to get it out, and you put it on the first thing you see. That was always my wife. I’m on a team with my wife, so she would often get the brunt of that anger. That’s definitely one of my biggest regrets about my experience."
What did Phil Keoghan say about Jonathan and Ana?Before Keough and the world learned that Jonathan was neurodivergent, he told TV Line that he believed Jonathan was simply over-competitive ... which, let's be honest, is typically not a bad thing to be when you're in a reality competition show with a life-changing amount of money on the line.
"Even when he comes in second, to him it’s a loss," Keoghan explained. "One of the things I discussed with him along the way was, ‘Hey, you’ve got to take it easy on yourself, but also take it easy on your partner.’ Sometimes when you do your best, you don’t necessarily win, and that’s OK. That’s life. Most of the time, we lose, right? I get that he puts all that pressure on himself, but it’s one thing to put that pressure on yourself. It’s another to put it on your partner."
During one particular episode of the show, Keoghan briefly and tactfully confronted Jonathan about the way he spoke to Ana.
"I know when you first came into the race, particularly when things didn't go your way, you were extremely hard on yourself and your team,” Keoghan said pointedly. “What's the most important thing you feel like you've learned on this race?"
A contrite Jonathan replied, "If I could learn to become more resilient and to stay confident, through adversity and through the lows, we could maybe have a good shot at winning."
Are Jonathan and Ana from The Amazing Race divorced?Nope! The Towns, though briefly separated briefly before signing up to compete together on The Amazing Race, are still together, though they may well be divorced from reality TV forever.

Jennifer Garner Says This Classic Novel Is The 'Perfect Book'
Jennifer Garner can't say enough good things about the classic novel she believes is the "perfect" book.
During a recent interview for Bustle's One Nightstand video series, the 53-year-old actress named her "perfect book" as none other than Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
"It has love; it has intrigue. It has the country kids doing okay," Garner gushed of the popular 19th century American novel, a critically regarded and beloved classic that has remained in print since its 1868 release.
"It has the missing father and the promise of him possibly appearing. It has the perfect blessed mother," Garner continued. "It has the scare of illness, and then it has tragedy. It has real tragedy. Is there anything more sad?"
View this post on InstagramGarner went on to specifically praise the character Marmee, the matriarch of the March family and mother of the four March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy.
"I'd love to be like Marmee. I hope my kids think that I'm a little bit like Marmee," said the Alias actress, who shares three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
"I don't think I am. I go to work and I think I'm much more distracted," she added, while noting, "But I really give it the old college try."
The 13 Going on 30 star also shared that she "of course" always identified with Jo, the second-oldest March sister, an ambitious, tomboyish aspiring writer who serves as the book's main protagonist.
"I actually danced a ballet of Little Women in high school," Garner revealed, noting that she portrayed the character of Jo in the production.
"My mom calls me 'Jo' because of Jo [March]," she also shared.

45 Years Ago, a Deadly Fight Changed Disneyland Forever
Disneyland has long marketed itself as “The Happiest Place on Earth,” but 45 years ago today, a violent confrontation inside the park shattered that illusion.
On the evening of March 7, 1981, thousands of guests had gathered at Disneyland in Anaheim, California for a private company party hosted by aerospace manufacturer Rohr. Around 10,000 tickets had been distributed for the after-hours event, per sources, and among them was 18-year-old Mel Yorba, whose father worked for the company.
Near the Matterhorn attraction, Yorba crossed paths with 28-year-old James O’Driscoll. According to reports at the time, O’Driscoll’s girlfriend claimed a man had pinched her while walking through the crowd. Believing Yorba was responsible, O’Driscoll confronted him and the encounter quickly escalated.
The two men began fighting and eventually stumbled toward the nearby Submarine Voyage ride. During the struggle, Yorba was stabbed in the heart. Security guards rushed to the scene and found the teenager bleeding heavily.
According to sources, instead of immediately calling 911, Yorba was reportedly placed into a Disneyland security van and transported to a hospital in Garden Grove by park staff. The vehicle had no emergency lights, sirens or medical equipment, and it reportedly bypassed closer trauma centers that were better equipped to treat a stabbing.
By the time Yorba arrived at the hospital, an Orange County coroner later determined he was already in cardiac arrest and doctors were unable to save him. The tragedy marked the first homicide in Disneyland’s history.
READ MORE: Disney World Guest Dies By Suicide at Park Hotel
Public reaction was swift, with local officials criticizing the park’s emergency response procedures. Yorba’s family later filed a wrongful death lawsuit seeking $60 million in damages. A jury ultimately ruled in their favor, but only awarded the family $600,000.
O’Driscoll fled into the park after the stabbing but was discovered about an hour later hiding in bushes in Adventureland. In 1983, he was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 16 years in prison.
While incidents inside Disney parks remain rare, deaths have occurred over the decades. Reports estimate 104 fatalities across U.S. Disney parks, including Disneyland and Disney World, from various causes ranging from natural health emergencies to accidents.
And while incidents like the 1981 homicide remain rare, deaths at Disney parks still occur. In fact, 2025 proved to be a particularly difficult year, with seven deaths reported at the parks within the year. According to TMZ, one occurred on November 8 at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, though details remain unclear. Earlier that fall, a body was also discovered at Disney’s Contemporary Resort; the victim, 31-year-old Summer Equitz, was later determined to have died by suicide. Another guest was found deceased days later at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

Carrot Cake Recipes Often Spark Debate Over What Belongs in the BatterCarrot cake has been a dessert staple for decades, but one thing many bakers can agree on is that there isn't just one way to make it. While the base of shredded carrots, warm spices, and cream cheese frosting tends to stay the same, the mix-ins are where personal preferences really come into play.
Traditional recipes include ingredients like walnuts, pecans, and raisins, which help add texture and extra flavor to the cake. That said, many carrot cake fans argue that raisins simply don't belong.
Coconut and pineapple are other ingredients that sometimes appear in carrot cake, though they can be just as divisive. However, according to the King Arthur Baking Company recipe for its "Kitchen Sink" carrot cake, ingredients like pineapple, raisins, coconut, and nuts can all work together to create a cake that's extra moist and full of texture.
Seasonal bakery items often rotate through Costco stores throughout the year, and availability can vary by location.
If you enjoy a classic carrot cake topped with plenty of cream cheese frosting, the Carrot Bar Cake's return to the bakery offers another chance to pick up a sliceable spring dessert before it disappears again.
